I don't think it should be necessary for me to state how much I fucking despise r/systemscringe and similar communities and forums. What do they even think is so good about what they're doing? They actively hunt down traumatised minors on the internet, post their screenshots and publicly shame them until they are too scared to be active anymore. They fakeclaim anyone and everyone who doesn't precisely conform to their exact definition of what a plural should be - which is ironic since the majority of them are not plural. Everything they say seems to contradict itself, it's hard to tell what they think a system can be/have. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided systems weren't real altogether.

severance poses the question of "is the ethical/moral obligation that we have towards ourselves equivalent to and on par with the ethical/moral obligation we have towards one another" which in itself is so interesting. and then it seems to have an incredibly resolute yes as an answer so far, which i find to also be so fucking sick. the innie/outie consent issues, to me, fall into such stark clarity when you consider it not as two individuals, but as two intrinsically connected individual parts of the same whole. the creation of the innie is in itself a violation of the self's integrity— because their existence is one of forced alienation. but the problem isn't actually held just in the fact that they both exist. the problem is that they cannot work together. the problem is that they are denied the wholeness.

am I a system?? idk man, but sometimes it really feels like it. like, I’ll be thinking of a question, and a bunch of little voices will give out random imputs or a hesitant answer, and I’ll be like “wait is that right?” and hey, it is! or I’ll be questioning pronouns, and some part of me will really like it, while another part of me feels super weird being referred to by that pronoun.

if I am, I’m most likely monoconscience or some kind of median system? idk, still need to do research. I’m definitely not traumagenic (at least I’m pretty sure I’m not). I also don’t really experience switches either (if that’s what they’re called), and I’m happy with being the only host (that is, if I am a system).

to me, it’s more like being a streamer and having a bunch of people watching you play a game or go about your life or something; they can give imput and ask questions/give answers and have conversations, but you as the streamer don’t know everything about the people in your stream, and the people watching can’t take control of the streamer’s gameplay or their actions irl. (I even call the voices in my head “chat” to be silly lol)

I think we really REALLY need to fucking emphasize that dating another system can be JUST AS if not even more abusive as dating literally anyone. People need to stop fucking acting like dating another system is automatically safe because our last relationship was with a system and it resulted in the most abusive relationship we have ever been in. I’m so serious you HAVE to be careful what you share with anyone because guess what? Sharing details about alters and what specific traumas and triggers they have is DANGEROUS unless you know for 100% sure you can trust that person. i KNOW it’s hard to prevent alters fronting and such but you just have to be cautious because dating any system you find just because you have sourcemates or whatever can get you in so much fucking trouble.

Please help my disabled trans fiancée keep their home!

My fiancée, Nicole Burton is battling a small Court Case. Currently, both mine and their hands are tied. They have to make 2,700 dollars before the 1st of June. I thought once they moved to Michigan things would be okay, but this has destabilized them.

I hate to see their pain get worse & their system split to try and accommodate such. I hate to see them not knowing what the future holds for them at just the age of 19.
