Tumblr has been a home to queer people for years. It was the last place we felt safe online. If you attack trans women, you attack all of us, and if the tumblr polls are to be trusted, about 90% of your clientele will leave and never return. Pick your fucking battles Matt. Ok! This is important!

I don't have a big community here on Tumblr, but I do have you guys who know what Matt Mullenweg has done, (and here's some more content on that, and this). So since my poll turnouts came in, I promised to do this.

Sign this petition, and I will repetitively shove it down Tumblr staff's throat when it gets a decent amount of signatures.

I know you may say this won't work, but I've gotten multiple users who support xenosatanism, are transphobic, and harass minors banned by the power of having you guys here to assist shoving it down Tumblr's throat (awh and yet we ain't got @toplayistowin banned yet but oh well).

Since I am apparently 'notorious' (in the #undertale community tags) for being 'problematic' and even being named 'controversial' for simply existing, and I've managed to nuke the ones calling me that, maybe I can shoot and try to help nuke Matt Mullenweg before he helps implement more trans slandering moderation. Also just because what this man has done is downright wrong and he shouldn't be in any position of power.

I don't know how many signatures I need to aim for, but I know we need a decent amount so please help boost this petition anywhere you can.

I promise to do my part and shove it down Tumblr's throat (I am great at doing that), but I need your guys' assistance in both doing that, and getting the signatures in the first place.

Reblog, boost, blaze(?), do whatever. This isn't about notes though, this is about signatures and this is about where the petition is shared to. So share the petition, do anything you can to help out.

Because of the whole ~situation~ I've been seeing a large uptick in transfem support/positivity posts and don't get me wrong I appreciate it but I think it needs to be said

If you actually want to support trans women YOU NEED TO COMMIT TO THEM.

The harassment, violence, and censorship we face is constant, it is not relegated to isolated incidents extreme enough to be broadcast to the wider public. Every time something drastic like this happens people will show up, offer their support and condolences, but in the intermediary just go back to perpetuating the very transmisogyny that led to this in the first place. That's why the events of today have been utterly unsurprising for any trans woman who's been even the teensiest bit plugged into the general 'discourse' that just so happens to follow us wherever we go. Again I feel the need to repeat:

THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED INCIDENT

This is the result of a pattern of persecution that is not limited to just outright transphobes and TERFs. It is one that YOU, YES YOU, are capable of perpetuating. In all likelihood, you HAVE spread or contributed to it in some form or another. So LISTEN TO TRANS WOMEN. Vet call-out posts targeting us, be wary of spontaneous hate mobs against us. Acknowledge the reality of transmisogyny and don't be afraid to face your own culpability in it. TME people, stop getting irrationally upset at TMA/TME terminology. It is meant to be used specifically in the context of discussions around transmisogyny. It's not the axis around which all trans-ness rotates, there are grey areas, and it doesn't function well as a general label like trans man/trans woman or AMAB/AFAB because that was never meant to be it's purpose in the first place. It's a tool to assist in the discussion of a prejudice nothing more.

Do not just listen to transfems when our voices are at their loudest. Even when things seem quieter you have to KEEP LISTENING. If you can't do that, all your current words of support and solidarity will mean jack shit in the long run, and that's when it matters most.

reminder that i have also had nonsexual photos of me tagged as explict and sexual. i rarely post even any nudity and when i do, i put them on a side blog and voluntarily put community labels and filterable tags on them. any time i post an appeal, it never gets answered. i'm not even able to appeal community labels on those photos any more, and it breaks my heart because those are some of my favorite photos of myself. i've straight-up stopped posting selfies on here partly bc i've not taken many that i enjoy enough to share recently, but also because it's just too much of a hastle.

i've had this same blog continuously since 2012, since before i came out. over a decade now. if i lost it, i would be devastated. i also have meticulously curated side blogs for all of my art and comics, and my headmates also have their own blogs under this account. all of that would be lost.

predestrogen did not deserve this, she did nothing to violate tos. and it very easily could have been me or any other transfem person on here.

i've met friends and lovers on here. my art has found an audience on here. i've been able to crowdsource financial help on here when i've been at my lowest. i don't know if i would still be around if this website wasn't available to me. the thought of some staff member just erasing my presence from here is legitimately terrifying to me.
