I know Perzival on YouTube is working on an unofficial Palia cookbook with his discord server. Is anyone else coming up with Palia inspired real world makes? I’ve already been thinking about crocheting the laplander hat that hangs on the clothesline in a lot of NPC’s yards. Has anyone else come up with anything? I also used a mushroom keychain pattern by Miss Dolkapotts to make a Brightshroom to hold and look, because I love them so much.

this project is FINALLY FINISHED!!  🥳

does anyone else ever get nearly-finished-project paralysis? this fucker sat in the corner for MONTHS after i finished crocheting the main body, untouched due to my mistake of not weaving in the ends as i went. i was overwhelmed by the final step of the process and didn’t want to mess up something i’d put many hours of effort into. so i sat paralyzed with fear for months. 

thankfully, a friend informed me of a crochet technique called a double (envelope) border. although it’s typically used for mosaic crochet and stylistically didn’t fit with the light yarn rest of the blanket, i knew that this was the only way i’d get myself to finish the project. so i smacked it on and ignored the mistakes and here we are!

I mentioned living crochet at work today and my badass biker chick coworker whipped out her phone to show me pics of her daughter’s magical crochet creations. Some of the pics were couples shots of the daughter and her girlfriend. One was a project in the lesbian pride flag colors. I may have accidentally semi-outted myself but tbh 🥹 my heart grew 10 sizes that day
