I was really happy with how the Gravewalker Ranger turned out. So, the obvious inspiration for this particular subclass is most definitely Talion from Shadow of War/Mordor. I really enjoyed the game, and I wanted to make a subclass that had a similar vibe.
This is one of those ones where I did something a little different - I made it fairly customisable, because I feel like with ranger that's a fairly common problem. I was pretty happy with how it turned out.
The art on this is just a picture of Talion from Shadow of War, but my boyfriend is drawing up art of his ranger, who will be a Gravewalker Conclave when I run a game for him.

Soulfire Conclave (a DND 5e Homebrewed Ranger subclass inspired by @comicaurora)
3rd level: Soulfire Magic
Starting at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Ignan Crucible Spells table. The spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of ranger spells you know.
(EDIT: Guess who's a huge dumbass and thought investiture of flame was a 5th level spell? Anyway I swapped it for flame strike)
3rd level: Crucible Form
At 3rd level, your fire burns through your mortal appearance. As a bonus action, you transform into a humanoid form made of roiling fire for up to 1 hour. You cannot speak, use equipment, or cast spells while in this form. You automatically revert to your normal form if you fall unconscious or die.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again. While you are transformed, you gain the following features:
Intangible Form. You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non magical attacks.
Scorching Strikes. You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes, which deal 1d6 fire damage. This damage increases to 1d8 at 11th level.
Additionally, when you use the Attack action to make an unarmed strike, you can make one additional unarmed strike as a bonus action.
Overtaken by Rage. When you turn into your Crucible form, you must pick a target. While you hold the transformation, you can use a bonus action each turn to Dash towards your target. At the beginning of each turn of combat, you must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Soulfire DC (8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom or Constitution modifier, whichever is higher). On a failure, you have disadvantage on Perception checks relating to anything other than your target, and must use your movement and action to attack them. On a success, you can act normally.
In order to come out of your transformation, you must use your bonus action to attempt a Wisdom saving throw against your Soulfire DC. On a success, you return to your normal form.
3rd level: Anger Is a Weapon
Starting at 3rd level, you can focus your fire through your weapon. As a bonus action, you designate one melee weapon. The first time each turn that you hit with this weapon, it deals an extra 1d6 fire damage.
This benefit lasts until you finish a short or long rest. It ends early if you designate a different weapon.
7th level: Mindless with Fury
At 7th level, you learn to control your emotions to shape your fire. When you must make a saving throw to resist being frightened or charmed, you have advantage on the saving throw. In addition, your Crucible form gains resistance to force damage.
11th level: Giving That Force a Direction
At 11th level, the speed at which fire catches and burns down its surroundings empowers you. You can now Dash as a bonus action. Additionally, your Scorching Strikes feature grants you two unarmed strikes as a bonus action instead of one.
15th level: Let Fire Do What It Does Best
At 15th level, you learn how to merge your soulfire abilities with the control of your natural mortal form. As an action, you exhale soulfire in a 30-foot cone or a 100-foot-line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Soulfire DC. On a failed save, the creature takes 6d12 fire damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage.
You can use this attack a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. You regain all expended uses after a long rest.
