May we ask what brushes you use for your work, it always looks so clean and nice 🥺

Hi hi! I actually do have a post where I shared all my brushes!

They're procreate brush files but you can also refer to this picture to sort of gather how they look/behave

Sometimes when I feel a bit of art block I play around with brushes (I've been using some other procreate pencils like Derwent and the procreate pencil, as well as some other inking brushes like Baskerville, mercury, tinderbox, and syrup but I rarely use those)

I like to ink with the pencils, tbh because I can still retain that softness and smooth control over every line (especially the opacity of the lines) and line weight!

I also do a little trick where I duplicate the inking layer two times, so that I have 2 inking layers, and I blur the bottom one a little okay with the opacities so they're not too heavy, and then use a clipping mask with a dark color that matches the drawing and lower the opacity until it's barely visible but the lines feel more integrated, and plz lmk if none of this makes sense cuz I can make a little video to show it

jaykyle au where they're theatre kids in the same school but they're not the actors jason's the scriptwriter/director and kyle is the prop manager (i don't know the official terms sorry) and they'd probably do an amazing job on the backstage setting if they could stop arguing for 5 whole seconds about their artistic visions and ideas and how "this would obviously work better this way"

Rosebirdweek 2023 Doodle Dump!

I've been doodling some things for the @rosebird-week prompts/days I missed last week, and this is about half of it! I'm still working on a few things, but I'll be done with those as well soon :D (Next doodle dump is gonna be all the angsty days.. weee!!)

I might return to these one day and give them some color!

Day 2: Small Comforts Raven and Summer enjoying a moment of peace together. <3

Day 3 and Day 5: Western/Steampunk , Medieval/Royalty It's Halloween at Beacon! I've been wanting to add Steampunk Raven to the party I designed a few months ago for some time, and this seemed like the perfect moment. It was also a nice opportunity to combine the prompts of day 3 and 5, and draw Summer as a Medieval Maiden. Unfortunately my ✨outfit design skillzz✨ decided to peace out on me but I'll catch up on it some time lol

Day 4: Secrets/Confessions It's clean-up day at Beacon and Glynda's coming over for inspection, so team STRQ's dorm room better be spotless. Summer cleaned up her space of the room earlier that day, but left something interesting behind for Raven to find. Qrow totally doesn't know what this is about.

And that's it for now! Hope you guys enjoy the ideas I had for this week so far, despite them being a bit late :)

if you see that our birthday boy is posing very glamorously, just know that there's a very loud Vil behind the camera giving him pointers. He also made us switch accesories and outfits like crazy, but for some strange reason, Epel seemed to enjoy it?? Our guess is that he liked the clothes (specially the sleeveless one, said he has been working out his arms lately, so). You can find his outfit here!
