#reader insert crossover idea

Got an idea for a Batfam x Reader x Avengers (+ Loki cause it's my fantasy and I can do what I want) fic that I haven't been able to get out of my head, so I'm throwing it to the ether.

(I actually wrote something for this here!)

You are a member of the Batfam—a blood child of Bruce Wayne's, and makes him a bit more overprotective of you then others. After a while the protectiveness bleeds into the rest of the family, doesn't matter if you're a vigilante or not, and it annoys you greatly. Though since it comes from a place of care you let it go for the most part.

Even though they grow more protective as time goes on, on the odd occasion they'll let you leave without one of them acting as your bodyguard (You bargained with Tim to let you leave without surveillance, as long as he got to call whenever he wanted). They still understood that you needed your own space.

By chance, during one of the few trips you had out of Gotham you run into Loki. To your surprise you hit it off pretty well. Now every time you have the chance to leave Gotham you meet up with Loki, which eventually leads to you meeting Thor, then the rest of the Avengers. Within time, you've basically made them your second home, and they've unofficially attached to the group. Like a favourite distant relative they wish would come by for more than just holidays.

They're far less suffocating then the Bats, and come with far less expectations. They don't treat you like a damsel in distress like you're family or act like you're only a pretty face for the Wayne's like the public. You can be yourself without feeling like a hindrance.

You get along well with everyone, but especially Tony and Loki. Tony occasionally prods you for WayneTech secrets, and he never lets you in the lab, but he's always there for you. Loki is a bit of the opposite. He isn't always at the compound, but when he is he drags you to wherever he's going. He also brings you into all of his schemes, but for putting up with him, he willingly goes along with yours.

For a while, you think this is as good as it's going to get. You stay with your family for a while and spend as much time as you can with them, but when the stress of galas, their vigilante careers, and the suffocation of their overprotectiveness becomes to much, on a free day you visit the Avengers. You're content with how things are.

That is, until Damian comes into the picture.

Despite being younger than you, he's not babied nearly as much as you are. You understand it probably has to do with his assassin background, but it still feels completely unfair and you can't take it anymore.

When you go to confront Bruce, it leads to a full blown argument. It only gets more and more heated when other family members get roped in until everyone's picked a side. Bruce realizes this is no way to have a proper discussion and wants to put a pause on it to come back to it later with a level head, but he expresses himself so terribly that you think he's just being dismissive.

You storm off to your room, quickly putting into motion plans to leave undetected. The manor starts to feel extremely confining—like it was becoming a gilded cage, so you want to escape to the only place you've carved for yourself completely separated from the Bats. The Avengers.

Once everyone is has either gone home, is out on patrol, or fast asleep, do you leave the manor. The only thing you leave behind announcing your departure, are the letters you left in the rooms of those that sided with you.

You leave behind everything easily traceable, and take the necessary precautions to keep yourself off the radar. Even if you aren't a vigilante, you've been taught how to conceal your tracks. Due to their protectiveness, everyone in the family has taken the time to further teach you stealth and ways to evade/escape confrontation in general.

You arrive at the compound in the dead of night and FRIDAY let's you without contest. You expect to be sitting alone until morning, but are pleasantly surprised when Tony shows up. He's covered in grime, clearly having just left the lab, but makes fun of you for looking like shit.

He doesn't ask what's wrong, he doesn't need to, and instead takes your mind off of it by filling it with mindless chatter. Soon he pushes you into his lab to help him also ignore his sleep schedule. The next day when the rest of the Avengers are made aware of your arrival, you're happily welcomed and allowed to stay for as long as you want. A few constantly ask if you'd stay permanently, and it's gone on for so long you can't tell if it's a joke anymore.

Meanwhile the Batfam is a mess.

They didn't find out you were gone until they come back from patrol. One of the siblings that got a letter finds it while pacing in their room. Then they start looking everywhere for you and realizes you're actually gone. The rest of the family gets involved, but those that have a letter don't inform anyone about it. One, because you told them not to and two, because they respect your sense of agency even if they hate it.

Then the rest of the fic flips between how you're doing with the Avengers and how the Batfam are handling the situation. You have so much fun with the Avengers, but your mind obviously keeps wandering back to your family. Every time it does you're left a mess of emotions until you push it all aside to deal with another day. The Bats are a mix between waiting impatiently for you to come back, trying to come to terms with their protectiveness, and arguing over if they should be looking for you or not.

I NEED to see a Batman/Persona crossover like RIGHT NOW. The reader could be twin or just a regular sibling that couldn't do the vigilante gig because Bruce wouldn't allow it. This could be because they aren't trained enough or he didn't need two robins. The reader could be homeschool until an argument or event happened so they decided to go to Gotham Academy. During or after the event the reader could be looking at a mirror and see Igor (like at the beginning of the persona games)

They could form a group of Gotham Academy rejects which would become the persona users. Well basically Persona 5 since the corruption in that game can correlate with the corruption of Gotham (politics, police, adults).

As for the mask(p5) or evoker(p3) thing, it could be like p5 with a mask that is an animal that represents the characters. To go into the other side (like Dark Hour) they could go through mirrors, the mirrors(like the TVs in p4) could represent their true selves that they had to oppressed because of family, media, or whatever. The place that the team would fight shadows could be the city of Gotham and areas with higher corruption/crime has more shadows.

There are more I wanna add to this idea, but this is what I have for now. Like I really need to see a fanfiction of this LIKE PRONTO!! This sounds interesting, right?

Jujutsu Kaisen x Trigun

No pairings, Reader just has a fictional crush on Vash. Gojo and Reader is Platonic at least yet, I'm still plotting it out and wanted to share this part so far. No idea when I'll get around to put it online however. I've seen way too many fanarts with both Gojo and Vash together lately. and it's helping to fuel this, a very rough draft cut and paste. Reader has hair I'm trying to remember to make note of that.

But Something got you curious as you gazed off into Gojo’s direction who was sitting right beside you. “What is it? Popcorn in my teeth?” He instantly went to lick around his teeth to see if he could find the kernel.

However you shook your head. “No….I have a question….might be a dumb one. But, Have you ever, attempted to like jump universes with your Limitless before? Or Attempted to jump into a universe where Digimon or Pokemon were real?” or stated throwing out an example.

Gojo hummed. “I played with the idea before, but as you brought up…” He raised his hands and wiggled his fingers in response. “A total misuse of Cursed Technique! OOOOOOO~~”

You picked up a throw pillow and threw it at him, which didn’t hit him of course, he caught it with his hands and laughed. “har har, I was just curious, cause well, your Limitless is well Limitless in theory…”

He moved to hug your throw pillow to his chest as he leaned forward on it In thought. “I….think you are a bad influence on me.” He stated to flick your forehead causing you to huff a little.

“ME a bad influence on YOU?” you rolled your eyes. “Was curious.”

“Didn’t you know Curiosity killed the cat?”

You lightly chuckled. “Satisfaction brought it back.”

Gojo pressed his sunglasses up with a finger as he paused in thought. “I think so…However I doubt I’d be able to bring you with me…but only one way to find out, and they can’t get mad at me if I’m doing sciency things. Worse comes to worse I’ll say something curse -like happened and I dealt with it.” He moved to point at one of your Vash figurines. “instead of Digimon or Pokemon, how about your Beloved Vash…comes here?”

Your brow furrowed for a moment. “Wait a second...you gotta think of the conse…..”

you barely got out what possible consequences that might cause to the Trigun universe, or to the modern day world. When a blue flash happened. Your eyes crossed as a blond man in a long red jacket ended up landing upside down on your couch crying out “OW!” especially when his gun went flying and landed on his ass as he landed.

“Dammit Satoru, I was speaking hypothetical!” you went off to lecture him, “what is this going to mean for his universe that he is missing, what’s it going to do to ours?!”

Gojo how ever pouted and went over to pinch Vash’s cheeks together “But look how adorable he is!” causing Vash’s eyes to cross and lightly blush. “Besides! This is great! He’s never seen Earth or the Ocean? This is perfect we can show him around!~” Gojo then grinned, “Lets take him to the Zoo! All the Sea animals will blow his mind! Then we can send him back!”

You felt like pulling out your hair even if your heart skipped a beat seeing Vash in the flesh. "Satoru...this is a 150 year old man….”

“Independent Plant Man.” Gojo Corrected which made Vash’s eyes narrow in shock. Wondering how he knew.

“We are not treating him like a fucking child that we are babysitting, sugaring up and sending him back home hyper!”

Gojo’s eyes widened at that. “OH! True, we need to get him some sweets."

Night City was bustling with people cheering and yelling, the disruptive revving of car engines speeding down the wide streets, the cool night air whispering past your skin, your hands comfortably resting in the pockets of your pants, your right hand holding onto your keys hidden inside the pocket, and your head slightly lowered as you stride past other people on the packed sidewalk. Your knuckles carry a faint throbbing ache that you're awfully familiar with. The night sky makes the ads displayed practically on every building look more vibrant than in the daytime. Your heart felt heavy, burdened by an overwhelming wave of sorrow and distress, while your composure dangled precariously, clinging on by the slightest thread.

You slip past multiple distracted spectators watching the race in Little China, occasionally bumping into others as you make your way through the other side of the crowd. Headlights whipping by, the smell of body sweat and alcohol invaded your nostrils. Your left-hand rises from your pocket to push a bystander to the side, finally making it out of the crowd to the other side, your main focus on reaching out to someone you held dear after a hot minute of your absence.

The street life drained you in ways you knew you'd be in if it meant you'd stay afloat in Night City. As the days went by including you sending little to no messages to Jinx, backstabbers were left sniffling the ground you walk after you're done with them, biz dealing with individuals where you can't always put your guard down, foolish gangoons pushing their luck with you. Being protective of what's rightfully yours, or taking from the more fortunate, getting to the top meant having every advantage you could get, and then you'll have a better chance to get far in this line of dangerous work.

After another minute of walking alone, the sounds of the people's voices faded as you made a right turn, chip bags, bottles, garbage bags, and papers lightly blown about, all this junk on the ground was a normal sighting in this inescapable city. As you walked further into a narrow alleyway, you stood in front of a gate that stopped you from moving forward, cyberpunk lighting coming from the street lamp behind it brought the otherwise dreary alleyway into.. something somewhat lively, and homey. You can give it that.

At the end of the alleyway were colorful chalk drawings of angry cartoonish monkeys and smack dab in the middle of the wall was a portrait of a little girl beautifully drawn by You and Jinx's hands on the brick wall. Pink wires as the background, and the two words "POW POW!" written above her head were drawn in a sprite shadow font. A soft smile touched your lips, the drawing carried a heavier purpose of memorabilia after little Isha's passing, and the relationship you three shared, you and Jinx cherished it. Pulling your right hand out from its pocket, multiple keys held together by a ring jingled from your hand movements, eyes scanning over all of them to land on a basic, silver key.

Holding it between your thumb and index finger, you insert the key into the slot and steadily turn it to unlock the gate. Shoving the keys back into your right pocket, you push it open with your forearm, stepping through the gate door, you close it behind you and quickly move toward the steps, the soles of your worn-out shoes softly thud against the concrete as you walk up the short set of stairs. You halt all your movement when you stand right in front of the entrance to Jinx's place. Rock music booming in the confines of the room's four walls was muffled by the metal door firmly standing in your way.

Letting out a barely audible breath, anticipating the argument you're going to walk yourself into. You swiftly repeat your actions by unlocking the door to her place. As you step through the threshold of the doorframe, slamming the door behind your back, your eyes are immediately met with a woman's slender figure in the middle of the room, aiming a gun your way that'd gradually lower to her left side as your recognizable appearance instantly brought her eyebrows to rest from its tight frown, her wide stare softened faintly. Her expression gradually faded into something resembling ease and a drip of irritation. The lightly worn-out leather chair behind her spun, showing the urgency and haste in her movement when met with anything that could quickly lead to life or death.

"Ah, Y/N." Drawing your name out with false unenthusiasm and unrestrained annoyance that had an underlying sense of harmlessness to it. "Popping in after ghosting me for three days?" Her voice was raspy, her upper lip subtly curling upwards. Violet-red eyes holding you in your place, her head tilting a little to the side, her jagged side bang obscuring her right eye, making her dark eyebags more notable because of the pink lighting in the room. She placed the gun in her left hand on the metal table beside her, turning down the rock music playing through the phone with the same hand without delay. Her hands clasped together behind her back as she sauntered over to you, stopping her movement when she was just a foot away from you, her head leaning in a tad bit, her right hand rising to roughly press her index finger against your chest.

"Why were you gone for so long? You know I don't like it when you're gone for that long." It was heavy, the unblinking stare and the want simmering in her heart urging her to close the gap between the both of you.

"Fixer hooked me up with a job that included insane amounts of eddies but- a lot went wrong. And I…" You held it together in the first half of your sentence but you couldn't hold it together forever. Every single second you were left alone with your thoughts the morning after the job was finished, losing Jackie that night, the man who earnestly stood by you since you started doing biz, a man you trusted, the gunfight following as soon as the brief, intense, and loud burst of noise of a pistol going off, the bullet hole left in his forehead, blood seeping from it. He was gone, in such a short time-frame. You'd spent time outside of work with him, fought together, and saved each other from sticky situations- This loss on top of Isha's was a pierce to your solid heart harder than you prepared for.

Just speaking on anything relating to losing someone important to you, first Isha, now Jackie.. You had to see Jinx, after going through that, you couldn't sit alone in your apartment that felt so void without anyone occupying it other than you, and being alone with your thoughts wasn't ideal. "Ahh… I just can't lose you too, Jinx. I'd rather it'd be me in harm's way, y'know?" Your eyes heat up. Darting, staring anywhere but at the woman standing right in front of you. Your bottom lip curls in for your upper teeth to bite down on it for a moment. Tears threaten to spill out.

She's all you have left.

A palm, warm to the touch, cups one side of your face, tenderly ushering you to look at her, tugging you out of the deep pit that is the fear consuming you. Her eyes meet yours head-on, a weak, close-lipped smile adorning her lips, her bottom lip vaguely trembling, her face expressing the same pain you held, understanding well how you feel at this very moment. Her thumb moves in smooth, circular motions upon your cheekbone. You gently grasp Jinx's upper arm, the arm using the same hand that tenderly strokes your cheek.

Neither of you could stall it any longer; both of you sought solace in the only person left willing to offer an hour of reprieve: each other. It was Jinx who moved first, ending the last shred of space left between you two to wrap her arms around you into a hug. Her nails digging into the back part of your shirt, Jinx's nostrils flare when she deeply inhales the scent of your vanilla fragrance with a hint of sweat, nestling her face further into your neck. "Just… Don't do that again, Y/N…" She spoke in a hushed tone, her lips slightly parted as the tension in her body melted from the comfort of your body heat.

"It was like.. I had no one when you were gone. You didn't even send me a message."

You couldn't bring yourself to respond, skeptical that your voice would shatter if you were to utter another word again. Your arms are wounded around her waist leaving Jinx's mind empty of anything negative leaving only tranquility you unknowingly bring to her already deteriorating soul. Choosing to gently nod your head as an alternative, your right hand slithering up to lay upon the shaved side of Jinx's head, your other hand moving up to plant itself on the small of her back. "Ha… 'msorry." Your voice was feeble, your breath tickling Jinx's nape.

"Heh, deep down, you're still a softie." A full smile graced her lips, her hold on you unyielding.

Anyone can join, and all types of fandom works are welcome: fanfic, fanart, podfic, gifsets, edits, mood boards, memes, etc. Each work must contain at least one Disney BatB character (crossovers, OCs, and reader-inserts are allowed too!), be newly created for the event, and not use AI. There will be some new aspects to the event this year: a podfic exchange and beta reading exchange. More info on these in about a month. Follow this blog so you don’t miss future announcements!

Last year, our prompts were about plants, but this year, our theme is “Beasts of every kind,” with a different animal prompt for each day. The idea is not that you create something literally about that animal (though you could), but that you think of things metaphorically associated with it and use that as inspiration.

You are NOT expected to do something every day! Just 1 work for 1 day of your choosing is enough, though you are welcome to do more if you like. And you are NOT expected to create your fanwork on that day, just post it on that day.
