Touch-starved Moon

Snippet? Drabble? Either way, late last night I got on the topic of touch-starved Moon with my friend, which led to me typing up bits at a time to send them. They were my magical muse because I've been having writer's block, so I just find it funny that I wrote up a bunch via Discord messages versus my usual setup...and on my phone of all things. Maybe I'll do this more to try and get out of my writer's block, definitely seems to be doing a better job than forcing myself to write shit up. But yeah, since this was written up on my phone I've gone through and fixed all my 2 am sleepy typos and grammar mistakes, obviously this isn't finished. Again why I said I don't really know how to label it. Maybe with enough interest, I could pick it up and flesh it out a bit more. But it wasn't intended to be this long, just like the first bit then a jump to the reader touching and over-stimming Moon and junk 💀

“Hm, Moonie?” Your hand drifted down his chest plate before giving the elastic of his pants a quick snap.

Moon hummed, gaze still locked on your face. “Yes, star?”

“What did I just say?”

“What?”

“Oh my, Moonpie were you distracted?”

“I was listening.” he hissed. Moon’s chest plate rumbled with annoyance but grew warm under your touch.

“Mhm, and what was I saying?”

Moon froze and sent your hand a glance, watching as your fingers walked their way down his stomach. “D-daycare..”

“Daycare? Mm, that’s a pretty broad topic.”

“Cleaning..” he cleared his throat. “Cleaning the daycare..”

“Moonie… It’s morning, the daycare is already clean.”

Shit.

“Seems like someone hasn’t fully booted up. I’ll overlook it this time, try not to get distracted with the kiddos, okay?”

Moon forced himself not to chase your hand as it left him, forcing out a grunt in agreement.

“Well,” you stretched and turned to look out into the daycare. “I’m gonna go find Sunny and ask him for his thoughts on what I said.”

He flinched. Did you ask him for his thoughts on something? For the daycare? Moon held back a whimper as you left, crimson eyes trailing the hand you used to touch him, now being used to wave Sun down. The same hand used to touch him now rested against Sun, and it made his chest ache and stomach churn.

Why did you stop touching him?

The rest of the morning was spent with the feeling of eyes on you. Every curious glance resulted in catching Moon’s gaze on you instead of the children he was supposed to be tending to. And without fail, every time he was caught he’d look away and find a way to excuse himself to a different place in the daycare.

By nap time the staring didn’t let up, even Sun had commented, questioning why Moon was so out of it and staring at you.

Moon silently stewed in his emotions, irritated at every touch between you and Sun. You’d yet to touch him again, in fact, you’d gone out of your way to avoid touching him.

During lunchtime, you’d made sure to avoid his touch while handing out the lunch trays, only to touch Sun’s by “accident”.

What made Sun so special? Was it because he’d spaced out earlier? Were you upset? Oh, what he wouldn’t give to be in Sun’s place right now.

Should he apologize? If he was going to he needed to think fast, you’d turn away from Sun and were headed straight for…him?

“Hey Moonpie.” You whispered, careful of the sleeping children, and sat beside him on the floor keeping a decent distance between the two of you. “Feeling better?”

Moon’s voice box rumbled. “Peachy.” Despite the darkness, he could see the gap between the two of you clear as day. Normally you’d sit on his lap with him during nap time while Sun took to doing a mid-day clean up.

“Is that so? I’m glad.”

The glow-in-the-dark stars of the nap room alongside Moon’s dimly lit eyes gave you just enough lighting to see the gap between you two. His leg twitched and you took to distracting yourself to look at a nearby napping child—time to see how the event from this morning would unfold.

The two of you sat in silence aside from the music box playing away in Moon’s chest. Careful to keep your eyes elsewhere, you’d occasionally catch the gap between the two of you growing smaller and smaller.

“What do you think of a sleepover tonight?”

Moon flinched, pausing mid-movement to process the question. “Sleepover? Tonight?”

“Mhm, I talked it out with Sun. Use the theater room and get pillows and blankets to cuddle up together.”

Harsh red lights lit up your face, nearly blinding you and risking waking the children. You slapped a hand over his eyes and they instantly dimmed. Well, that’s new.

You’d c-cuddle them? Of course, you’d done that before but that was…well before his current predicament. No, wait focus.

Your hand lingers on his eyes despite the light dimming, watching those tiny pinprick pupils stare at your hand. Oh right, it probably doesn’t feel great having someone’s hand on your eyes.

Before your hand can fully pull away and lose all contact Moon grabs it, shifting it to his cheek instead. It’s at that moment you feel his leg touch yours…he closed the gap you’d intentionally placed between the two of you.

Such a touchy little Moonpie.

It was a calm afternoon in the Dragon City, birds chirped, the sunset welcomed the air of the evening, and like everyday, Royal Margarine cookie would come out to boast about his alleged achievements. Of course there would be nothing wrong about that, the children found it cool, the ladies swooned or… only laughed if they knew the truth he revealed when he got drunk or from rumors that ran away, and then, there was you, always by his side to aid in the telling of the story to the best of your capabilities.

“And when all seemed lost, I scoured the skies with my trusty dragon and—”

“Wait, I thought Buttercream was a wy-”

“Ah—!”

He loved you, he really did, he admired your motivation and your knowledge on dragons, even if sometimes like these times, it came into play in the wrong moments. Royal Margarine would shush you rather quickly, attempting to continue the story, but you wouldnt let it go, in fact, attempting to be a bit louder which caused some children to look confused, while the ladies and men would simply laugh to themselves, crossing their arms in a “we’ve caught you” notion. That’d mark the end of the storytime for the “dragon” rider, as both him and his partner would walk home calmly, albeit not without chitchat being made along the way, little chatter about how their day had gone, about what they’d have for dinner, until eventually they’d get to the topic of the storytime.

“Right, sweetheart, about that…” He’d begin scratching the back of his head “I’d appreciate it if you didnt interrupt me while telling my stories…”

“But Buttercream is a wyvern!” You’d say as you both approached your home, to which Margarine would look behind him before opening the door for you, after all, he always had manners.

“Yes, but its a secret! People cant get to know that—”

“Why? Arent Wyverns dragons?” You’d ask innocently, once again cutting him off which would catch him off guard, but not for the reasons you would expect. “Sorry”

“No-No, Im not mad at you, its just… How to say this…” He’d close the door behind himself, thinking for a moment before speaking yet again “Uhm, darling… Wyverns arent, dragons…”

It’d take you a moment to register the answer as you’d set down your messenger bag, looking at the couch before turning to see him, an unreadable expression in your eyes as you tried to comprehend what he had just told you. Wyverns werent… dragons? But you had done your research! You learned about as much as there were about dragons as there were tales in the city, but, as doubt began to settle down, perhaps… only perhaps…

“Wyverns, wyverns arent dragons?” You’d ask him, just to make sure that what you had heard was correct, to which the dragon rider would nod slowly, a sorrowful gaze in his face as he realized this seemed to cause a shift in you. “But— The books—”

“They are similar, which may be why they may have been fit together, but they’re not… the same, sweetheart” He’d say, walking to your side to hold your hand and lead you to the couch. 

“Oh…” You’d speak, before turning to look at him once again, already opening your mouth to speak yet again “But— That means Buttercream is…”

“Yes, she’s not a dragon, she’s indeed a wyvern.”

“... Then why do you call yourself a dragon rider?” Your question would come tainted in curiosity, and he’d only chuckle though at the realization that he didnt have an exact answer, he’d only look at the floor before answering.

“Well… Because Wyvern Rider sounds weird, no? Besides, Dragon Rider does sound quite fashionable”

“Ah, I see… Well, I’ll go make dinner, its already late and we should be having dinner soon!” You’d say, shaking your hands softly as you headed into the kitchen, leaving Royal Margarine out in the sofa.

“Sweetheart, let me help you” He’d say, already sprinting to walk to your side, which you welcomed as you wrapped your arms around his shoulders with a smile “Woah”

“Im just— Excited! This is very exciting! I didnt know different kinds of species related to dragons existed! Did you know that—”

And then there was no stopping you as you spoke and spoke about dragon facts to your boyfriend, who only would sigh and smile warmly, knowing he’d be having to take care about most of the cooking this time around save you hurt yourself as you focused on your rambling. Though he didnt mind, he knew you liked his cooking, and he always made sure to make extra for Buttercream everytime.

As so, next time you saw Buttercream, you’d smile and talk to her about how she was a wyvern and not a dragon, but also admit that you knew she probably knew that already. But its safe to say that everytime Margarine told his usual achievements as a dragon rider, you’d butt in to correct him innocently, causing him to try to shush you everytime, and for nearby listeners to either look confused or laugh softly. But the truth is, he could never be mad at you.

Hi! I want to start writing AoT fanfiction soon, so to get a feel for the characters / setting, I will be taking fic prompt requests.

I'm very lenient with drabbles; they are supposed to be chill, low-stakes practice pieces after. My drabbles tend to range from the 100-400 words.

To request a drabble, you can do either or both of the following:

Complete one sentence prompt: drabble of x character doing x thing. "Hange and Moblit bonding over research" What it say on the tin. Abstract ideas are still v much welcome but be aware that I will twist the prompt to my liking if it isn't specific enough in the one sentence accepted.

Word prompt: Send me a character(s) + ' 1 or 2 words/phrase' and I'l write something thar includes that word. Example: "Erwin + 'blade'". I encourage you to gimme your most abstract ideas on this one.

this year, i'd like to celebrate by opening up the ask box for 48 hours to trick-or-treaters of all kinds! participants will get drabbles from the eligible fandoms per their request. the rules, time frame, and details of this event will be explained below.

THINGS I WON'T WRITE

- reader inserts, just not something i'm super comfortable with

- along with reader inserts is any ocs × canon characters. i prefer to write canon characters × canon characters as it's easier for me and just my preference

- toxic/bad ships, for example: snape and hermione. and i will absolutely not write ships for characters that are related to each other or have a major age difference!!! or any weird ones like dobby × harry.

- certain tws! anything that relates to r*pe, incest, pedophilia, eating disorders, sewerslide, etc. other tws i have written before and are okay for me to write, like self-harm, suicidal thoughts, heavy angst/whump, blood/violence, etc. if you're unsure you can always ask me, or i'll let you know if i'd prefer not to write a certain topic

- crack ships, it's just not my thing as i don't really write anything that's meant to be super/only comical

- certain characters: this goes along with the toxic ships, etc. but there are certain characters i will refuse to write. an example is billy hargrove or peter petigrew. the reasons of why i won't may vary but it shall be respected regardless

"You know, Lambo-chan really does think of you as his big brother, right?" There was a sudden pause as he sat his coffee down and swallowed hard, closing the book he'd been studying. Physics could wait, this was serious. Sometimes when Haru brought the topic up, Gokudera felt a little guilty for how he'd treated Lambo. He was often harsh with the kid, but he didn't know how else to toughen him up. Being soft and gentle wasn't something that came easy to a guy who was treated so harshly himself. Brothers were like that though, at least the older ones usually, and looking at Ahoshi, he saw a lot of himself in the young Lightning Guardian. The two had a bond that was inexplicable. Gokudera could often recall being as desperate as the little cow print clad kid had been to find his place in the world too once, often being immediately cast aside as a half breed and never taken seriously as soon as the word "musician" was brought up, as many often didn't listen to Lambo either when they heard how young he was. Who takes a five year old's threats seriously anyway? As annoying as the kid could be, Gokudera was starting to understand why Lambo clung to him the most out of the family. Even when he got on his nerves and the Storm guardian picked on the kid, it was just because the child was in a spot where he'd once been too, all alone and desperate to fit in somewhere. Underneath the name calling and bickering, Gokudera held a bit of a soft spot for Lambo, the kid could be alright around him sometimes when he wasn't trying to intentionally push the bomber's buttons. The lightning and storm are as close as brothers, and what is a storm without its lightning? Nothing left but rain and clouds and gloom. There was still a soft spot in that hardened heart Gokudera had and it was reserved for Lambo, as harsh as he could be, it was because he cared about the kid. A sense of pride washed over him as he remembered how strong 25 year old Lambo was and realized deep down he held a part in turning the kid into that one day. Gokudera had a secret goal, make sure no one ever messed with Lambo again. Picking on the kid was his job, damn it. And that's what any good big brother would do. He took another drink of his coffee and leaned across the table and kissed Haru before digging into his breakfast.

"Yup. And I wouldn't want it any other way. Someone's gotta shape that kid up. Might as well be me."

He couldn't have asked for a better little brother.

I'm easily emotional and I don't really like focusing on sad stories, so I won't write pure angst for now. The most I can do is a two part fic, with the first part being pure angst and the second part with comfort and fluff!

NSFW oneshot requests

While I do write NSFW content, all of those fics are my own ideas. I'm not comfortable with receiving requests for NSFW fics because I don't think I'm ready to handle peoples' requests for such content as of now.

Polyamory (be it SFW or NSFW)

I'm not comfortable writing about poly relationships because I don't really know much about them, and because such requests do make me a little uncomfortable.

AUs in general

I struggle to write for most AUs either because they don't interest me, or because they're confusing and difficult to write for. No matter what the reason is, I can't write to the best of my abilities when I'm constricted to any AU, so I prefer to write my fics based on the current universe which the characters are in.

Extreme misogyny, discrimination, topics that relate heavily to slavery

I might write about such topics, but it will eventually take a backseat in the fics, and it will not be on an extreme level (if you want reference on what I'll write, refer to my Naoya x Fem!Reader drabble). Overall, I do not tolerate such topics being requested on an extreme level and while I might write for them, I do not accept requests for these topics.

You can request for: headcanons, short fics or oneshots as long as the request adheres to the guidelines!

First of all, ofc I wanted to send you my message to you. Don't you think I checked who I was sending my request to?! (hope you're laughing) You said you're not deserving of those words ("undeserving"). And that's just a proof that you really do deserve this and so much more if my sixth sense is correct. About the series there are some parts that just crazy I mean what were the producers and writers thinking?! But in the end I liked the characters and the developments of the characters and the whole initial idea. It's a long and interesting journey if you want to check it out, but I recommend it if you like post apocalyptic style and sci-fi or fantasy.
