Almost forgot how fun this movie was.

canonically, billy and constantine kind of just tolerate each other at best, but i think constantine seeing the wizards 10 year old champion and going “okay what the hell guys. this is mine now” is so much funnier. he’s all “goddammit this kid is my responsibility fucking hell” and everyone’s like “john no one asked you to do that” and he’s like “no no, he’s mine”.

instead of a child turning into a super powered adult, it's an adult turning into a super powered child.

both danny and billy have to activate it by saying a very specific word/phrase. ("shazam", or "going ghost") (this is very much not true. danny can just transform without saying it, but they've never seen him do it)

Billy has what others think are lichtenberg scars.

And he did in fact get them from lightning, so he too thought he had lichtenberg scars.

However as time passed and they didn't fade, and he fell more comfortably into his roll as Champion of Magic, a hero, and most notably, Heir to the Rock of Eternity, he noticed something.

After a flash messed with the timelines, and nexus events were altered it became so obvious.

His scars grow

New branches flowing out or a line splitting into two.

Billy doesn't have a lichtenberg figure.

He has the tree of life

The connection of his soul and body permintly linked to the Rock, the center of the multiverse.

Billy was chosen as shazams Heir. Not Captain Marvel.

No matter how much work Thavma put in, he was merely a gift to billy, to help him and guide him.

Billy was the one with the fate of worlds on his shoulders, quite literally

Billy Batson week Day 4: Perfect Pair/Favorite Duo!

I wanted to do Marvel and Billy as my duo but the Wizard shoved Marvel over and declared himself a father figure. And who am I to argue.
