JL meets C.C.
So, the Justice League goes back in time to 1957 because some villain, let’s say Lex Luthor travelled to back then too for whatever reason. So now they have to stop him. Cue shenanigans and then while they’re trying to find Lex, John (I think this is my first post with John Stewart as GL) sees a newspaper that has C.C. and Marilyn on it. The newspaper talks about an Incan artifact they found. As they have literally nowhere to go, they go to see if C.C. can help them as they could use the extra firepower. (They think he’s Marvel and also literally everyone is against them, Lex turned the government against them by calling them foreign invaders. Remember this is both less than 15 years after WW2, and this is also two years into Vietnam.) C.C. would get dragged along because Lex thinks he’s Marvel so he’d also get shot at and all that. Here’s some interactions I think would happen:
Batman: *Takes off cowl because there’s no way Marvel should know him, and future Marvel already knows his identity*
C.C.: *stares at Bruce for a bit and thinks he’s Thomas Wayne* “Hey… you’re Patrick’s boy, right? Why’re you running around in a bat costume? Also how did you age thirty years in the two months since I last saw you?”
(Let’s say this is the same universe as the Great Grandpa Wayne and C.C. post)
Batman: *Gets flashbacks*
or
*Under heavy fire from robots because Lex teamed up with the government to mass produce robots for the war effort, money and so he could kill them. C.C., Flash, and GL are all kinda laying on the floor while bullets rain above them*
C.C.: (By the way, all of them are yelling over the sound of the bullets, cause bullets are really loud) “Can we wrap this up? I want to get back to my wife.”
Flash: “You have a wife?!” *completely shocked and betrayed one of his best buddies didn’t tell him this*
C.C.: *grabs some stuff from around them and starts making something* “Yeah.” *pauses his making his thing and sighs dreamily* “Marilyn.” (Bro really loves his wife) *goes back to making whatever he’s making*
GL: “What’re making?”
C.C.: “What?”
(Again, they’re yelling over a bunch of bullets)
GL: “What are you making?”
C.C.: “Oh! A shrapnel grenade!” *Finishes and throws it out of one of the many holes made by the bullets*
*loud explosion, guns stop. The three lay on their stomachs on the ground in silence*
GL: “Why do you know how to make that?”
C.C.: “I wasn’t able to dodge the draft.”
or
C.C.: “You’re an Atlantean?” *Slowly looks over to Arthur* “Tell me everything.” *pulls out pocket notebook that’s decorated with stickers, courtesy of a seven year old Mary*
Aquaman: *Happy to share anything about his culture and people* “I can tell you anything but its location.”
C.C.: “Fine by me! I just want to know everything.” *suddenly gets super intense*
*League looks at each other cause this is a rare time Marvel is actually actually serious*

I cannot stop laughing at the how insane Captain looks with DTC.
Their constantly at each others throats too,
(Cap’s resting his head on his palm, the leagues talking about taxes or something — Blly asked DTC what’s their favorite animals are and Zeus said a dinosaur)
Mercury: Zeus, I believe the boy means ‘living’ animals
Zeus: 😐
Hercules: I don’t mind lions, though I had to strangle one once.
Billy: You strangled a lion?
Hercules: It was a debt of my twelve labors.
Billy: …
Billy: You’re broke?
Hercules: …
Hercules: 👺
Achilles: Is that twelve more labors I see?
Solomon: I’d choose ant.
Zeus: Ant?
Solomon: Yes.
Zeus: No.
Solomon: Pardon?
Zeus: No. I will not be ridiculed for my choice when you chose an Ant. An ant, Solomon. Why? It’s barely on Earth.
Solomon: It’s respectable; It’s one of the most hard working things on earth, yet it’s the size of a crump.
Zeus: It would get organ failure over a crumb.
*dramatic gasps like their on a reality tv show*
Billy (looking scandalized while Batman drones on about tax breaks): 😧

Old enough
I just saw a post from Wonderjanga (C.C. And Great Grandpa Wayne), and it improved my head cannon about Billy telling the league, that he remembers everything he went through in those 84 years of the time bubble.
I wasn't going to post this but I changed my mind. In my Head Cannon, Billy is already older, like 16 or 17 years old. He has been in the league for a few years since he was a kid.
Ever since Captain Marvel (or Billy Batson) joined the league, he's hardly ever asked for a reunion so it would obviously be a proven thing to deal with. Bruce was worried about this, for a few weeks now Billy has been acting strangely, missing some meetings and not responding to the communicators or the messages we send him.
So him calling a meeting was important, especially because he said it was urgent. The league members were quick to arrive, even Flash who is usually late arrived early, Billy didn't say much he just looked down trying to understand something... something was wrong Bruce could feel it.
Billy: Thank you for coming, I would like to say that the problem is not the end of the world, at least not our world but mine. I recently discovered why Fawcett has so many mental hospitals.
Superman: What do you mean by that Billy?
Billy: Do you remember the Justice Squad?
Wonder Woman: Yes, I fought alongside them in the second war, its members were Bullet Man and Woman, Golden Arrow, Mr. Scarlet and his helper Pinky, Mega Spy and Ibis the Invincible.
Green Arrow: From what we know, they returned to the United States for an urgent government mission. We have no further information about them to this day. Some myths say they were killed, others say they deserted and disappeared from the map. I prefer to believe the latter.
Billy: I found out what happened to them. When they returned for an urgent mission, they were assigned to deal with a being called King Kull. Just like Vandal Savage he is also a caveman, high intelligence and physical condition. In prehistoric times, King Kull was the ruler of a race of proto-humans known as the Undermen (also called the Beastmen), a brutish but technologically advanced race who ruled over humanity until they were finally overthrown in a revolt. Kull survived into the 20th century trapped in a state of suspended animation. When he woke up he decided that humans should suffer the same as he suffered, so he built a Suspendium bomb.
Batman: What would Suspendium be?
Billy: Suspendium was an artificial compound developed by Dr Silvana.
Flash: Since when has Silvana been alive?
Billy more than me and you
J'onn: Where are you going with this Billy?
Billy:Well... I-I knew Fawcett wasn't a "normal" place, not because of the abundant magic that pours into the city from the Rock of Eternity, but because of everything, the culture that hasn't advanced, the fashion sense that hasn't changed, and so on. I kept this in my head and went looking for answers, not only out of curiosity but because of memories that didn't make sense. Memories that I no longer remembered, I lived them.
Black Canary : Are you okay Billy?
Billy: yes, as far as possible.
Billy: I followed the clues that my memories gave me, and I arrived at an old building, the facade of Sivana, one of the Solar Centers, there was a passage to the basement and there I discovered where the old heroes of the Second World War ended up. They were trapped in a state of suspended animation, all of them, I came to the conclusion that the effect of the Suspendium had worn off after all these years. Apparently the Justice Squadron was unable to get Kull to detonate the bomb, everyone on Fawcett was affected, the heroes and Kull were trapped in a state of suspended animation that has not yet passed.
(Hal) Green lantern: Holy shit...
Billy: Yeah, holy shit. Well that was my report for the month, I would like to take a really long vacation, recommended by my psychiatrist.
Black canary: Psychiatrist!?!?!
Billy: Yeah, I'm seeing a-a psychiatrist, after discovering that my life was a loop of suffering and pain, finally my mind gave out and I developed a dissociative personality disorder, I-I- this is the first time I've come to consciousness. I-I-I have a few already, one of them is an 8 year old child called Hedwing, the other my supposed evil twin, all I fight are the sins, he was born from them I don't know his name yet...
Black Canary gets up and goes to Billy and hugs him."Oh Billy you don't deserve this"
Batman takes off his hood and stands up, hugging Billy. "I can't do much for you, but I will do what I can to help you, money won't be a problem."
wiping away the tears. "T-thanks, but that's not the whole problem, m-my Captain form also had new personalities."
After coming back from the shock Superman says: My God, I didn't know that was possible...
Not either, but the personalities that came are called Lord Shazam and a goth who says he has no name. says Billy leaving the hug: Lord Shazam prefers not to leave the Rock and Goth likes to explore the world.
So you mean that all that discussion about you being a child was a complete waste of time? Flash says trying to break the ice.
running his hand through his hair and leaning back in his chair (Hal) Green Lantern says: Nice try Barry, but how old are you Billy? Because the second war was about 85 years ago.
Well... coincidence or not, the Suspendium bomb exploded 84 years ago, in 1940 when I was 10 years old and had already been at war for 1 year. says Billy sitting in his chair.
Living for a long time has its consequences, Billy, but you are not alone, not today or tomorrow, because you have us and me, we will help you, little brother. Diana says, smiling at Billy.
Thanks but still, it's not something I like since well... I was childhood friends with Thomas Wanye. Billy looks at Bruce.
My father? Were you my father's childhood friend?.
Oh yes, how could I forget, Tommy was wild but fun, we got a good scolding from our parents, good times, I think that if the bomb hadn't exploded I would be a friend of the family, and possibly the one who would have been adopted would have been you. Smiling from ear to ear, Billy says looking at Bruce.
I don't know if it was good but that's it, have a good day, or night or afternoon, aah be well.
The End.

y’know i’ve seen a lot of fawcett being scary to people from other places cause they can’t understand the magic side to things there (which is very dangerous) and while i do like that (who am i kidding, i love it) i’ve always liked the idea of fawcett being a dangerous city for another reason
btw this is applying to a fawcett that isn’t some sort of magic hub (as in the vast majority of citizens are humans who can’t use magic and don’t understand it) but still naturally experienced our beloved time freeze (i can’t remember its name lol)
i imagine fawcett to be scary because people only see what they want to see, but to a much more extreme degree than to how people usually do
like, as a homeless kid billy is just ignored by the general and not given any real help
when he works at whiz as a radio host and reporter no one questions the child labour (or dangers of the job as a reporter)
when he gets his own house no one questions that (if anyone even notices)
i imagine it as being a very mind your own business society which makes you think of gotham but i think of it as being in a different way to gotham
see, the thing that i think is really scary about fawcett is the surface level kindness. how they still act very polite and cordial. there’s just this indifference to anything they don’t feel affects them. ‘not my circus, not my monkeys’
theres more to my thoughts on this but most of them are still subconsciously lingering and idk how to put them into words, also i already wrote a lot so yippee contribution to our community. hope you enjoy my badly worded take on fawcett

I'm really fond of Billy Batson being like the 4th or 5th superhero to debut. Like, he pops up RIGHT after the trinity pops up. I think it's a prime chance to see essentially a newly reborn DCU through a child's eyes. Not in like the New Frontier "Wow! Look at all of these guys!" way (not to knock that, it's still great when moments like that do happen). But in the "everybody is green enough that the idea that this grown man is acting like an 11 year old is extremely suspect" kind of way.
Every member of the trinity has generally the same reaction.
Clark is much more of a "this is the only other person who will TALK to me... BUT he's also probably autistic". Where he's cordial and kind to Billy but also keeps his distance. He's a country bumpkin, and as an autistic person who's ALSO a country bumpkin, I can bet that he'd use the signature "be kind at a distance and let him work it out himself" strategy that I most often see used. Not to say that Clark is going to be a jerk about it. He just knows that he's not qualified to help and since he's an adult he can take care of himself.
Bruce ALSO assumes that Billy is autistic. Especially since the first time he even MEETS Captain Marvel is when he's interrupted on a stakeout. I always envisioned a Year 2 Bruce not being cruel to strangers, but also not being nice either. He just kind of ignores him until eventually he calls Captain Marvel over to whatever he's doing and explains what's going on. Bruce is the kindest to Billy, even if it's not as overt as Clark's.
On theme, Diana ALSO assumes that Billy is autistic after meeting him. Of course, she assumes that after somebody explains the concept of autism to her after explaining how something's just off with "that guy". She's not fond of the fact that some asshole is using the power of old gods, but lets it slide because she doesn't know how to confront that and can tell that the conversation and confrontation with him simply isn't worth it. She's a whole lot more proper and Billy finds her nice and all, but a little bit too grown up for his taste.
Billy isn't a founding member or anything, but once he is indicted, each member of the trinity keeps an eye out on him. Batman doesn't find out that Billy is a LITERAL child until he's a couple of years in with Dick. So he just keeps the lie going. It's easier to tell somebody "he's autistic" instead of "he's a 12 year old swapping bodies with an adult deity"
Any other potential headcanons that can come with Billy Batson becoming the 4th or 5th or just a really early superhero?

Quick headcanon that at some point, the Justice League makes a time-off calendar for every time a leaguer is busy and needs someone to keep their city safe while they’re gone. Maybe they have a work trip or a family thing or even some vacation they planned.
All a hero has to do is request time off, and another member will sub in while they’re gone. The only problem is that it creates a pattern. It would be suspicious if Green Arrow is only replaced when Oliver Queen is on a business trip, right? So to keep the public on their toes, JL members are encouraged to take a random day off each month or so and switch out with no rhyme or reason. Just any random day, any random hour.
The outcome is complete chaos.
Clark Kent has the pleasure of interviewing Wonder Woman at the scene of a car chase she just stopped in Metropolis.
Some muggers in Star City are scooped up into a giant glowing cage while Green Lantern riddles off bird puns to an exasperated Black Canary.
A team of robbers hit a bank in Central City but get roasted by Plastic Man for their poor their safe-cracking skills as they’re taken into custody.
Black Manta uses his high tech weaponry to wreak havoc in the Atlantic only to be hit with a torpedo as the Bat-Sub dives towards him at full speed.
Cyborg is lecturing a group of teen vandals in Fawcett City when Captain Marvel just waltzes up, says, “I’m tapping back in,” and continues the lecture where he left off.
Complete. And. Utter. Chaos. No one knows who will show up at the scene now, not even the cops, but criminals are scared shitless.
The JL decides to keep the calendar. If only for entertainment.

Funny scenario that means absolutely nothing
Batman, showing DNA results:
Captain Marvel, a very much adult looking hero, seeing the match to his very much a 12 year old civilian identity:
Batman:
Captain Marvel: I can explain—
Batman: No need, I can imagine you’d want some amount of secrecy to avoid confusion when your younger self exists concurrently in the timeline
Captain Marvel: ???
Batman: I’ve worked with Booster Gold and other time travelers to know it can be somewhat awkward at best and precarious at worst with two of the same people exiting at the same time when one time travels
Captain Marvel: ?!?
Booster Gold: Welcome to the time traveling heroes club my man!

Billy and the Robins
Marvel has met all the Robins up until now. Like, let’s say Billy has been doing this for like eight maybe ten years. This Billy as Marvel met Dick a year before he became Nightwing, met Jason all the way through until his death, met Tim, and met Damian. He’s also been able to connect them to their new vigilante identities almost immediately. Now, Damian still is Robin and of course, Tim going from Robin to Red Robin isn’t too hard to figure out but I can see him doing this to the other two:
*Nightwing just joins the Justice League and all is looking swell so far. His first mission is with Captain Marvel and he remembers the dude being pretty nice. The mission goes well and they’re on their way back to the Watchtower.*
*Two are talking about whatever*
Marvel: *Pauses mid convo and stares at Nightwing a bit before he does a little finger snap* “Oh! That’s where I know you from! You’re Robin! Dude, it is so cool you became your own hero. The blue’s awesome.”
Nightwing: *Has a mini-heart attack* “Wha? Psshh… Dude, I’m not Robin.”
Marvel: “Uh… Yeah you are? You guys have the same” *gestures to Nightwing*
Nightwing: “The same what?”
Marvel: “You know. The same” *gestures to Nightwing again*
Nightwing: “You do know that doesn’t tell me anything… right?”
or
*Zatanna, her father, and Constantine are unavailable to help with a magic artifact. This led Bruce to begrudgingly ask Billy for help. At the scene are Bruce, Billy, Damian, Cassandra, and Jason. Bruce is briefing them on something Marvel isn’t listening to as he stares at Jason trying to figure out why he’s familiar.*
Marvel: *cuts Bruce off* “Aren’t you Robin number 2?” *ignores the stares as he looks at Jason.*
*silence from literally everyone*
Marvel: “Holy moly. You’re like 6’2.” (He says as if his Marvel form isn’t like 6’11. I love freakishly tall Marvel) “You used to be so tiny!”
Red Hood: *Gets hit in the face with a flashback*
//Flashback//
(Recently adopted Jason)
Jason: *sitting on a couch in one of the Watchtower’s rec rooms eyeing a box of donuts on a coffee table.*
Marvel: *walks into rec room with the intent to steal said donuts as food for Billy. Sees Jason.* “Robin?” *Walks over.* “You look… different.”
Jason: *fumbling for words, slightly surprised a hero came up to talk to him* “Oh uh- I’m not Robin- Your Robin. The Robin that you know.”
Marvel: “Yeah, well, that’s kinda obvious. You’re all skin and bones, kid.”
*The joke was met with no laughs and a look of hurt.*
Marvel: “Not- not that I’m saying it’s a bad thing! As somebody who frequently lived on ketchup sandwiches and sugar water at your age,” (as if he isn’t still that age, and still lives like that) “trust me when I say, I’m not making fun of you.” *grabs the box of donuts and offers it to Jason* “Look, why don’t you take one of these, or maybe a couple. I saw you eying them when I walked in. I’m sorry if you got upset at what I said.” *really doesn’t want Jason to cry*
Jason: *grabs two donuts. Chocolate and strawberry* “Why?”
Marvel: “Why what?”
Jason: “Why’d you live like that at my age?” (He finds it surprising this guy, this hero, lived like that at some point.)
Marvel: *contemplates whether or not telling Jason is a good idea for like 3 seconds before he throws it out the window* “I was homeless.” *shrugs*
Jason: “Oh. Me too.” *nibbles on one of the donuts*
*After a while of awkward conversation, Marvel soon gets Jason to open up and they branch away from the topic homelessness and spiral into other topics. Jason goes back to Bruce with a smile on his little face*
*After that, and a couple more encounters between the two, Marvel was the first person Jason bee-lined too at the Watchtower. Of course, not before saying hi to Wonder Woman. Greek heroes hold a special place in his heart for some reason.*
//End of Flashback//
*Under the helmet, Jason’s face slowly reddens in embarrassment and he just facepalms, not caring that he hit the metal of his helmet as he went through memories upon memories of little him following Marvel around like a little duckling.*

I know I’ve been just posting about Fawcett recently but wait.
Fawcett with Bridge Trolls.
Hear me out.
Every once in a while a random troll will take up shop on a bridge in Fawcett, demanding people to answer their riddles. Failure results in death. (Unless, they can work something out.)
They stay there until someone can answer their riddles, which disrupts the flow of traffic so severely that all broadcasts warn about them the same way they go about bad weather or a traffic jam.
I imagine Captain going up to the bridge troll of the month, trying (and failing) to answer the riddles then getting flattened to the ground so many times before relenting and asking Solomon.
But he never learns his lesson.
And he never gets it right.
Once he tried 78 times and only relented because he had monitor duty. He left a crater in the bridge to the point the thing was split in two.
How I imagine it would go:
Troll: You must answer my riddles three, if you wish to get past me.
Cap: Three? Last troll only gave one!
Troll: The rise of riddles is your fixation, but I propose you look at inflation.
Cap: Oh. That makes sense, but uh— I need you to leave.
Troll: From this bridge you ask me to cease, but I shall’t leave without my peace.
Cap: *sigh* Okay, hit me with it.
Troll: Answer the riddle you must do stat, or else you will end up flat. Riddle one I will declare, for time I wish to spare; With a mouth but unable to digest, with a bed but not of rest.
Cap: uh…
Cap: A blanket?
Troll: Wrong!
captain is crushed by the trolls fists and is pummeled into the bridge.

Au where when Billy’s magic is meddled with, he only transforms halfway into some Ancient Greek magical boy.
The league just has to deal with the fact that Sometimes Captain Looks Like A Kid Because Of Magic Reasons.

AU where the justice league finds out that Captain Marvel is homeless. Not Billy, they still have no idea about the captain's secret identity, but the Captain.
Maybe they were discussing a case or something, and he says something that is just a little too knowledgeable. Something only someone who has been there would know. He tries to backtrack when he realizes that he said too much, tries to explain that getting a job and an apartment is hard when you do hero work which doesn't pay (and hopes they don't find out the real reason he can't get a job is because no one will hire a kid).
The league comes to the conclusion the reason he is so secretive about his identity is because he is ashamed he is homeless. Naturally, everyone immediately feels super bad about this and tries to help him much to his dismay.
Identity shenanigans ensue.
