Tim and Danny Fenton-Drake Twins: Frozen AU but Make It Unhinged™️
Listen. I need you to imagine this: Tim and Danny as the chaotic Anna and Elsa of the DC Universe. Because brainrot. Let’s go:
————
Danny? ICE CORE. WHITE HAIR. Ghost powers he didn’t ask for? Absolutely. Dude pulls an Elsa-level isolation arc, locking himself away in the Ghost Zone like, “I’m dangerous! Stay away!” Meanwhile, Tim’s just standing there, pounding on the portal like:
Tim: “DANNY, OPEN THIS PORTAL OR I SWEAR TO EVERY ANCIENT SPIRIT—”
Danny: phasing through the wall “Tim, leave.”
Tim: “DO YOU WANNA BUILD A WEAPONIZED SNOWMAN?!”
————
Tim? Pure, unfiltered, chaos-goblin-Anna energy. This man will not be stopped. Danny’s trying to brood? Too bad. Tim’s already there with a 40-step plan to drag him back to reality.
• Danny: accidentally freezes half of Amity Park
• Tim, covered in ice but unfazed: “So, anyway, we’re going out for coffee.”
• Danny: “Tim, I can’t—”
• Tim: “NOT. A. REQUEST.”
————
The Batfam? Losing their collective minds.
• Bruce: “Who turned the Batcave into a snow globe?”
• Tim: building a snow fort “Team-building exercise.”
• Jason: “Why is the Replacement singing ‘Let It Go’ like he’s on Broadway?”
• Damian: deadpan “He has lost control of his life.”
————
Meanwhile, Danny’s trying to deal with ghost stuff quietly, but Tim? Not a chance.
• Danny: mid-battle with ghostly chaos
• Tim: kicking down a door he didn’t need to kick down “HEY, BRO, NEED BACKUP?”
• Danny: “I HAD THIS UNDER CONTROL!”
• Tim: “AND I’M HERE TO UN-CONTROL IT!”
————
Then, there’s the inevitable ice-breakdown™️ moment. Danny, tears in his eyes, freezing everything, trying to protect everyone from himself. And Tim? Unmoved. Standing there in the middle of a blizzard like:
• Danny: “I DON’T WANT TO HURT YOU!”
• Tim: “I’LL TAKE MY CHANCES.”
————
Jazz? She’s just over here trying to be the responsible one.
• Jazz: “You two need therapy.”
• Tim: “I HAVE A MISSION.”
• Danny: “I’M LITERALLY DEAD.”
————
Oh, and Damian? He’s the terrifying version of Olaf.
• Damian, following Danny around: “Can you make sentient snow golems to fight enemies?”
• Danny: “That’s not how it works.”
• Damian: “Weak.”
————
Jason? He’s the sarcastic Sven equivalent, muttering from the sidelines, “Is this a twin thing? This feels like a twin thing.”
————
TL;DR: Tim refuses to let Danny have his broody Ghost Zone isolation arc, Danny’s one meltdown away from turning Gotham into the next Ice Age, and the Batfam is scared but too confused to ask questions.

SSO timeline (REWORKED)
Consider the old timeline outdated! I’ve found new timestamps and made a few guesses based on character ages and relations to each other.
We have a few things to go off of: It’s been 20 years since Catherine died, and it’s been 45 years since the baroness left Mr Sands and Thomas was born. The old sisterhood, canonically all being born in 1977-1978, should be in their mid 40s. While I used to say Elizabeth’s age was a good jumping off-point, I think 47 is a bit too old considering the other people in her generation (like Sigry and Avalon). It would also make the gap between the failed sisterhood and Catherine’s death a bit too large.
So new theory! Sigry is 44 in the journals and probably born in 1977, and that is our reference point for the timestamps going forward. The journal ages are unreliable, but I’ll consider them canon unless contradicted by the games or books. In case of contradictions between different sso media, my canon hierarchy goes: Newer quests (Post-2018) > Books > Older quests > Journal ages > SSL.
I’ll put the source of my timeline claims in brackets. Confirmed, unmovable timestamps will be marked in green. Unclear time estimates will be marked with a ~. Let’s get into it!
1218
Jon Jarl arrives on Jorvik. [Starstable Online]
1702
Bertrude Silverglade passes away, leaving the Silverglade estate in the hands of an unnamed “mysterious relative”. [Starstable Online]
~1773
John Sandman and Rosalinda are born, ~25 years before Rosalinda’s death
1798
Rosalinda dies. She and John Sandman are engaged to be married, so they’re probably in their mid-20s. [The Legend Awakens]
1871
Mr Sanders fishes up a deep-sea creature, likely connected to Garnok. [Starshine Legacy]
1890
Owen D Sands establishes Deep Core Drilling Company on Jorvik. [Starshine Legacy]
~1890-1900
At some point during this time period, Mississippi Jones looks for the horn of Araxia. He is pursued by the presumed dead John Sandman. [Starstable Online]
1903
A cave-in/gas incident kills 211 workers and 14 civilians during a Deep Core drilling. (Sounds very similar to what happened in Old Hillcrest…theories…) [Starshine Legacy]
1904
Deep Core is forced to shut down. [Starshine Legacy]
1921
Beatrice, a soul rider of a former sisterhood, is born. She turns 100 years old in present day. [Ghost Stories from Jorvik]
1933
A former reincarnation of Starshine saves four girls who went missing on a school trip to a grave field north of Jorvik City. (Maybe this would be Beatrice’s eventual sisterhood?) [Starshine legacy]
1936
Annabelle Silverglade is born. [Starstable Online]

i have a very important thing to ask. what is your idea of angst for your crk fankids.
also hihiihihii i hope youre doing good !!
Okay OKAY BUCKLE UP.
(I am doing very well, thank you!)
Minus all the hate they get from being the ex beasts children (because they are redeemed by the time they have kids) here are their main points of angst!
Only for the eldest, the younger ones I'll still have to think about.
Ill start off with the Shadowvanilla's kid,
For most of Frozen Yogurts life, it was.. good, as good as it can be with the whole state of Vanillas kingdom and Shadow being his other dad. I would like to think that his bluntness and overall lack of being able to communicate his emotions without sounding so harsh can cause isolation, because no one wants to hear the truth, especially if it hurts. That isolation will play back on feeling that same emptiness and whatnot that Shadow Milk felt. Wether he turns to the darkness or not; I have yet to decide!
That's just the mental aspect. With power issues , he does struggle.
Since he is born from two Souljam holders who wield two halves of one, he gets a very unstable one at birth. He has learned how to control his powers, which consist mainly of magic similar to dark moon magic - and obviously, that can not mean any good - but when he was a kid? Oh, that was a headache and a half to deal with. His emotions would flare up, and suddenly, the cause of his despair has a shadow tendril constricting it in a second. This is why he tends to keep a calmer personality and be more 'apathetic,' as his aunt likes to say. He also has this monstrous shadow form, which just looks like a sheep-demon eye thing.. do with that what you will!
Next, Mysticacao!
With Choco-Oat's duties as princess and future priestess, she's got alot on her platter already. Forced to be proper, and uphold herself, she has to be the very best for her kingdom otherwise? She is nothing. Nothing. She's a huge perfectionist and control freak, and her relationship with Cacao is a little distant. She loves her father, and her father loves her too, but sometimes they'll butt heads over her overworking too much because Cacao has been there too, he sees the burden on her shoulders and he wants to help desperately, but she refuses insiting that she's fine because she's just as stubborn and straightforward as he is. Cacao cannot take that, he cannot afford to loose another child; so it seems they will fight over it for awhile, until someone snaps and its a whole messy thing. Her relationship with Choco is good though, and she was the one who convinced Cacao and Flour to allow him to be the heir of the kingdom once again, so yayy! Daddy Daughter angst core.
Powerwise? Most of her angst comes from the fact that her power is more like her mothers, when she was a child and first experimented with her powers, she would kill or drain life force of everything she came into contact with. She was terrified of herself afterwards, and ever since then, she repressed her powers-- (think Elsa from Frozen) and has yet to learn how to control it well.
And then there's Silent Lily's child.
Nodding Lily is a very empathetic and kind girl with a mind so broad and creative. She has her mothers curiosity and has her drive as well. She creates things to help people, to aid them in their hardships and what not, but sometimes people use her ability to create, her ability to give to take advantage of her. Most of the people who asks her for things are just there for the material aspect of it all and don't value her real self. But Nodding Lily cannot see it, or chooses to ignore and silence herself about it. Naivety for someone so curious, how ironic, right?
Powerwise-- her major issue with it ties into the mental aspect of her power. Whenever she creates, it drains her energy and will leave her weary and whatnot. Sometimes, the damage is so great that it's permanent. Exhausting herself to death is always a risk, like a flower wilting, and whether she will live as long as her parents have.. is always something she doubts, because little by little, she's wilting.
OH? And last but not least for now, the Burningcheese child.
Pepperjack is just about as firey and showy as both of his parents. Learning to be confident from a very young age, you would think he's sure of himself! Sure of everything he does and says, but there's always a little doubt behind his words. He doesn't wanna end up like his father, going down the path of destruction is something both him and Spice fear, but also he does not wish to preserve and become fixated on preserving things of the past and not being able to move on just like his mother. Self doubting, basically, he is confident-- but he will always question wether or not what he's doing is right and will make a sure and just impact his life.
As for his powers? He has geokenesis and a little of Pyrokensis. It's a little destructive at first, but he finds balance soon, his powers are by far one of the most destructive both to himself and to the rest of the world. His fire can very much burn him in the same way. His own rocks etc, can crush him as well, so he's very, VERY careful. His mother and father do help him when he needs it, but because he is kind of an independent child, he'll often insist that he's fine and.. that doesn't usually end well. However, he's not nearly as stubborn as Choco-Oat, so he'll listen if Golden Cheese nags him enough.

Okay, so this is partly propaganda, partly clearing something up, because I've seen a lot of people in the comments/tags pointing out that there are other female Universal Monsters, mainly citing Dracula's Daughter as one, and they're absolutely right! There are female monsters peppered throughout the series, BUT when it comes to *THE* original eight monsters (the Phantom, Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Bride, the Wolf-Man, and the Gill-Man), considered the core originals, the Bride is the only woman, and I think that's huge. For a character with such a small amount of screentime in her eponymous film, she has had a MASSIVE impact on the horror genre, she is an undisputed ICON standing shoulder to shoulder with these other titans of Universal horror, and it's all because of Elsa's wonderfully scrungly performance, and THAT is why I believe she deserves to win it all.

Alright, let’s get into this
Red: They’re leaning into her girly side and I love it! I feel since she doesn’t have a hard life anymore, she’s let down some of her walls and softened up. She’s giving a bit more Harley Quinn with that hair. I was a bit on the fence about her pants, but they’re growing on me!
Chloe: The Elsa vibes everyone’s getting, I see it too! I think my only complaint is that there’s no gold bit in fairness, Cinderella’s dress has no gold. I love the part in her hair and sparkles! Just STYICK TO ONE WIG! If you have to change wigs, switch hairstyles so we won’t notice that much
Pink:…I feel like the theme here is stop putting these Heart sisters in shorts. I feel like it should’ve been a skirt, that’d be cuter. I didn’t like it at first, but it’s growing on me. Imma have to see that hair in action before I cast my vote tho
Hazel: literally perfection. Hazel doesn’t look like she’s from Descendants, she looks like she belongs in Pirates of the Caribbean. I swear, then it comes to the hooks, their style and face card will never decline. Like, the lace, the corset, the hook, THE HAIR!!!! Now my question is! Did Harry give her that hook or did she steal it from him?
Luis: there’s not really much to see but I like it. I think my only note is it’s not the same color scheme as Luisa. It gives me more Pepa if I’m honest but I still like it
Max: why does it make so much sense for the grandson of a Mad Hatter to just rock a fedora lol. I just wish his hair wasn’t that long. Like, I short quit under the hat would’ve been cute. That’s all I have to say cause I can’t really see it
Felix: I don’t know if it’s because he’s the black boy in Descendants I’ve been praying for or something but when I say I LOVE FELIX’S OUTFIT! OH MY GOD! The tux, the studs, the belt, the bangs, the vest, he has BLACK NAILS! He even has little skull earrings! The little details on him do it all for me! I can’t wait to see him
Robbie: Robbie’s isn’t as detailed as I would like it to be but I still like it. Personally, I kinda favor my design but I don’t hate his look. It gives cottage core and I guess that does make more sense. My design of Robbie is more based off of OUAT and this is definitely more based off the original Disney movie
Smee Twins: I hate their outfit. I’m so sorry, I tried to get on with it especially since other people like it, but I just hate their looks. I never like the hair on the twins, give them short hair plz. And the overall jumpsuits, no, I don’t like it. They should’ve been denim like Ella’s overalls. I do not like them, I tried, I hate em, justice for them. I k ow those actors felt some type of way seeing their outfit compared to everyone else’s lol
I’m genuinely really excited for this movie and to see all these characters and I can’t wait for more bts! AH! DESCENDANTS IS SO BACK!

🎄Phamily Holiday Outing 🎁
Tumblr media
@craftybookworms Happy @phandomholidaytruce !
I had so much fun combining these prompts after you gave me the "Okay Go"! So here's the backstory behind the pic:
Having to go out shopping for Christmas presents, Jazz ropes the three Phantoms into helping her, even resorting to use bribes in order to succeed... And since she's a troll/gremlin, Dani's condition was that Danny had to wear an Elsa dress. Unfortunately for his dignity, Danny is very much weak to the ✨Puppy Eyes of Doom✨, so he caves pretty quickly and wears the dress... (which he doesn't mind, mind you!) However (also) luckily, Dani is not completely merciless, so to preserve (some of) his reputation, she breaks out the sign of a nonexistent "lost bet", so the bullies wouldn't be as ruthless as they could have been otherwise. (But if they were... Well, only Dani and Dan is allowed to pick on her brother, so incidents could happen to the bullies out of Danny's sight... >:3c ) Dan agreed to be here for the shitshow and making fun of his past-self (and to spend time with his regained family). Plus, Cujo?? is being extra adorable??? So, yeah, he also gets to walk his emotional support puppy around.
Hope you liked this and have a splendid rest of the holidays! May the new year be better than the last!
✧ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ✧
(Under the cut the prompt used and some art trivia.)
Prompt 1: Dani having fun experiencing her first Christmas! Cookie decorating or driving around looking at Christmas lights or any other fun Christmas activities!
Prompt 3: Cujo experiencing snow! Possibly with him wearing a little dog coat or boots
Prompt 4: Danny as Elsa from frozen (possibly singing let it go) with the sparkly ice dress or full ghost king outfit
(This could technically be post AGiT, but it can be just an AU where Dan is reformed/-ing.)
I swear, making the dresses (both Danny's and Cujo's) was an epic journey that made me use and discover new skills and brushes with the art app, so thank you! (*´ω`*) The blob ghost on the saddle decided to hitch a ride because why not? (≧∇≦)
I couldn't help but give Dan the Roronoa Zoro's Haramaki™ (the green "bellywarmer"), because I thought it fits his character and he definitely got buried by a monstrous amount of manga/anime to read and watch by his siblings, Tuck and Sam, because, let's be honest: even if he's a homicidal decade older and half-Vlad, he's still half-Danny. A dorky teenager (who grew too soon and quickly, yes, but still a teenager at the core), who reads comic and play games in his free time. In this AU, that part of him didn't get killed erased with his humanity, just got buried under the grief and violence, so now that he has calmed down he can catch up with what he missed.
He's a geek. (≧∇≦)
At the moment, nothing else comes up to my mind, so happy holidays again and hope ya liked it!

All right...for those of you who don't know my thoughts about Wish, yes, I wasn't happy with the finished result, but no, I'm not a hater. I'm mostly just disappointed that this project that had so many good ideas came out so half-baked, and THIS is a perfect example of what I mean.
No, it's not because "Star Boy" appears in it -- at least, not by itself. I do actually like Star's "himbo" personality in this, even if I also completely understand liking the idea of a mute version of the character. (The downside is that the mute Star from the finished film honestly doesn't have much personality outside of just being cute, in contrast to other mute magical Disney characters like Tinker Bell.)
No, the lost potential here is two-fold --
Firstly, I once again felt more emotion watching this storyboarded sequence than I did at any point in the finished film. I smiled hearing the fun banter between Star and Asha, insinuating that they're becoming closer despite their contrasting personalities; I felt some suspense in how Star and Asha were going to get away from evil!Queen Amaya; I even laughed pretty hard at the cat-and-yarn gag! I didn't laugh once while watching the finished movie.
Secondly -- and this point is actually the one I want to focus on more -- is the commentary given about why this scene was cut. I truly think another unspoken reason behind the decision was that this sequence was clearly inspired by the transforming chase scene in Nimona, which Disney of course infamously dropped when they closed Blue Sky Studios and later got picked up by Netflix, only to receive glowing reviews from just about everyone...but one of the core reasons that Head of Story Mark Kennedy cites for why they changed this scene (aside from wanting Star to be mute and not a shapeshifter like other Disney characters, which I'm a bit confused about because yeah, Disney's done cute, mute non-human characters before too -- what about Dopey, Pascal, Maximus, Dumbo, Bambi, Magic Carpet, Sven, and again Tinker Bell?) is that they wanted Asha to be the hero and be able to "solve all her problems" without Star's help.
Up to a point, I understand what Kennedy means -- the theme of the film is supposed to be that we all have the power inside of us to make a difference, and that's great. But by making it so that Asha doesn't need any help from Star, it takes something away from their relationship. No human is an island, and relationships, both in stories and real life, are often built on that fact. Just look at Ariel and Eric in the original Little Mermaid -- Ariel saves Eric from drowning and from Ursula zapping him with Triton's trident, and then Eric saves Ariel from Ursula by skewering her with the broken figurehead of a ship. Even in non-romantic examples, we have Judy and Nick having to help each other solve the case in Zootopia; Buzz and Woody helping each other get back to Andy in Toy Story; the Parr family and Frozone all fighting together against Syndrome's robot with their unique powers in The Incredibles; Jim Hawkins and Long John Silver working together to save themselves and everyone else at the end of Treasure Planet; even Anna helping Elsa learn how to control her magical abilities through an act of authentic, courageous, selfless love that only she can do in Frozen. These characters needing help and deep emotional connections with others is what creates a bond between them, helps the characters grow and change into stronger people, and makes us as an audience enjoy watching the two characters together. We become invested in both the two individual characters and the relationship forged between them. Because they all have their unique strengths and weaknesses, they supplement and complete each other. Even perfect paragon Superman in most DC properties isn't an island -- when he's in the Justice League, there are plenty of times where he needs help from Batman or other team members to save the day. Even Superman is a stronger character when he has people around him who can balance out his flaws.
If Asha never needs help, that runs the risk of the challenges she's facing seeming far less consequential, because no human can handle absolutely everything, all by themselves. Yes, perhaps in the finished film, Asha asks her friends to help her liberate the wishes (a task which ultimately fails, leaving Asha to confront Magnifico alone again and realize exactly what everyone has to do to defeat him on her own anyway)...but just in regards to Star and Asha's relationship -- which even the filmmakers have said is something like a "soulmate" relationship, though not in a romantic sense in the finished product -- these two can't have a meaningful connection if one of them is completely self-sufficient. This is also why quite a few Disney fans didn't like that the Little Mermaid remake changed Ursula's defeat to have it be Ariel who killed her, rather than Eric, because it hurt the "equal" dynamic between the main couple where they both helped and supported each other.
In short, "girl power" shouldn't have to mean never needing to rely on anyone else...and honestly, looking at this scene concept, we don't see Asha relying on Star too much! She's the brains of the outfit -- she's making plans; she's providing Star some much needed common sense; she's using Star's light as a distraction so they can get away...she even escapes Amaya at one point by sliding right under her horse! Asha in this storyboard is a bad-ass!
What we see in this sequence is these two characters having to help each other in order to succeed. And that would've been a great foundation on which to build more dramatic stakes and a relationship with actual pathos, whether romantic or not.

Maybe Disney needs to try taking on a fairytale they haven't done yet. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy more original stories like Raya and the Last Dragon and Encanto that as far as I'm aware don't originate from any particular legend (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong tho). Those are fun. Exploring different magical concepts like dragons and the miracle is awesome.
But that being said, I think Disney needs to go back to its roots and do a fairytale. Something with a princess and a big bad that comes from an existing legend. That's (generally) where Disney excels. That's why people love Disney. Little Mermaid? Classic. Beauty and the Beast? Classic. Princess and the Frog? Classic. Cinderella? Classic. Snow White? Classic. Really, I just think Disney does what Disney does best when they're taking a story that already exists and turning it into a beautiful piece of animation with a gentle, kind soul at the center of it, maybe with a different little spin like setting the Frog Prince story in 1920s New Orleans or having Beauty's father be an inventor. Little touches like that to make the story uniquely Disney, but with a solid basis in a folk narrative that touches something deep and instinctual inside most people.
Give me a girl who's cursed. A girl who either falls prey to evil or makes a deal with it, and whose sweetheart fights for her like Aurora or who does the brave thing and sacrifices to fix it like Ariel.
Give me a girl who's trapped. A girl whose family keeps her down or who just hasn't found where she fits yet, who stays kind despite her troubles like Cinderella or who finds her own alternative way out like Belle.
Heck, even a weird-ass thing like Shakespeare But Lions would be welcome. That's such a Disney thing to do, taking a story like Hamlet and filling it with whimsy and giving it a happy ending. Plus, Simba is one of the strongest protagonists and learns one of the best lessons in all of Disney fight me.
(I'm not going to count Frozen in the folk story group because the departure from the original was so wild I don't think it deserves to count. I love Elsa with my entire soul but I would also die to see Disney do a proper version of the Snow Queen fairytale.)
Look, my point is that I'd like to see something that really makes Disney dig a little deeper and recapture the spark of its classics. Because as much as I enjoy stuff like Tangled and Frozen and Moana (I've watched all of them loads of times and I cry about them consistently) they don't come to mind as Disney classics for me. Maybe that's just me. Maybe it simply hasn't been enough time. Maybe it's the difference in the animation. Speaking of that, however, I would actually love to see a Disney movie done in a 2D style again; I don't think 3D has any inherent superiority and I'd love to see what Disney could do with a 2D movie now. And there are so many folk stories in the world, surely there must be one that Disney can bring to life the way it used to. They haven't retold every story that's been told already.
Am I being a little picky? Probably. But I'd love to see something that reminds me of the Disney classics where a gentle person with a courageous core has their life touched by magic, faces an obstacle, and has a happy ending. Something that's not a variation on "X needs to be saved" but a specific character longing for a specific thing and either doing what they think is necessary to get it (like Tiana and Ariel) or giving it up for the sake of someone else, but getting a happy ending nonetheless (like Belle and Simba). Also a clear-cut badguy who gets to be absolutely cunty and evil about it with no peculiar twist.
I'd like to see something Classic Disney again.

But Eira is Emilia worth rival as they have many similar skills. since the over saturation Eira's hair began to turn icy white as a strange side effect. Currently Eira works as a hired gun and is working a very weird job at the moment of watching over this rich guys son named Blake who likes to call her Elsa. Pays a lot of money. Eira also has a crazy romance going on with a chemistry teacher named Ellie who is much more than she seems.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Damien Lee - Prime age: 23-36. Current age: 40. Poten type: Materialize- Bow staff. Core color- Red
An asshole who has a huge crush on Emilia lol. wears those glasses because he thinks it makes him look cool. despite that he is very good at getting his hands on information. The stress from the over saturation gave him a white streak in his hair. not as cool as Eira tho lol. Since the team disbanded he's been difficult to contact. Apparently his been doing some black market unnatural trade, commiting heist etc etc with his own band of cronies. He gets caught sneaking into the Union Institute by Nick but makes a deal with him to get classified Info about the original tpp from UHA in exchange for not getting arrested.

For the non-pregnancy post on her immune system, check out this post (X)
Pregnancy & Elsa’s Cold Physiology
Uterine Environment
Even though Elsa has a lower external body temperature, her internal organs would likely regulate differently. For pregnancy to be viable, her uterus would need to maintain a temperature warm enough to support embryonic development —around 98.6°F / 37°C in humans. Elsa's body temp is normally 94-97°F / 34-35°C.
I could go with the easy magical/mutant explanation that her body might instinctively generate warmth internally to protect a fetus, even if she’s cool to the touch, but where in the fun in that?
Hormonal Changes & Ice Powers
Pregnancy causes intense hormonal fluctuations. With Elsa, this could throw her magic out of balance.
Immune Response
In a typical pregnancy, the mother’s immune system goes through a remarkable balancing act:
The fetus is genetically half foreign (from the father), so in theory, the immune system should attack it.
But during pregnancy, the body lowers its immune defenses locally around the uterus so it doesn’t reject the baby. That’s what keeps a pregnancy viable.
Elsa’s magic is emotionally linked and self-protective by nature, so her magic could behave like a second immune system. If Elsa’s body senses something unfamiliar (even a fertilized egg), her subconscious magic might lower her core temperature further, making the uterine environment too cold for implantation It’s like her body is saying, Danger! Intruder detected! even if her heart wants the baby.
She is also more susceptible to illness due to her now compromised immune system, which was already not the best pre-pregnancy.
Bed Rest & Isolation From Stress and Germs
Magical Instability
Her powers are deeply linked to her emotions and health. During early pregnancy:
Her magic could be unpredictable, spiking in defense of her body
Unconscious blasts of cold might trigger uterine contractions or chills that threaten the pregnancy
She may be put on strict bedrest to minimize stress and risk of infections
Once her mind and emotions catch up to the reality that she wants this child and believes she can safely carry it, her magic begins to adapt and become nurturing. Her body becomes like a living fortress of snow and ice, but in the gentlest, most maternal way.
Her magic forms a thin barrier of cold energy around her womb —not to isolate it, but to guard it. Like a frost-etched cocoon that blocks out harmful forces (toxins, illnesses, even harmful magic), softens external impact if she falls or gets jostled, and maintains a perfectly regulated environment for the child to grow. It’s like the baby is floating in their own protected snowglobe, with the frost serving as a magical amniotic shield.
Her body becomes hyper-attuned. If she’s stressed or afraid, her magic wraps tighter around her belly. If she’s calm, the magic hums gently like a lullaby. If someone touches her without permission or tries to harm her, the air turns sharp and cold instantly —her magic draws a line before she even realizes it
Fatigue & Energy Drain
Pregnancy is exhausting, and Elsa’s magic is already taking a lot of her energy, so she experiences being tired faster. This can manifest in debilitating fatigue, abdominal cramping, significantly increased appetite to fuel herself and the baby, and at times, struggling to maintain control of her magic.
For the verse with @soughtserenity we have the addition of Logan’s DNA promoting rapid healing and cellular regeneration. This could mean the embryo implants quickly and securely, overcoming even Elsa’s magical rejection. The fetus is extremely resilient, even in a cold or unstable uterine environment. The baby might develop faster than average or show early signs of mutation. The moment Elsa’s body tries to “reject,” the embryo might fight back, healing any damage instantly, causing Elsa to feel unexpected warmth pulsing through her.
Elsa’s cryomagic and Logan’s healing ability might create a strange harmony. Her magic tries to regulate the pregnancy, and the healing factor stabilizes it instantly. Instead of rejecting or protecting in isolation, her body and the baby’s DNA start to learn from each other. Her body becomes more adaptive —her magic doesn’t have to overreact, because the baby can self-heal. This could calm Elsa’s powers, like her magic sensing the baby is okay and it doesn't need to panic.
Normally, pregnancy drains the mother but in this case the baby’s healing factor might have side effects on Elsa’s body later in the pregnancy, like quicker recovery from fatigue, less risk of complications, faster healing if she’s injured or emotionally overwhelmed, and her immune system might temporarily boost, feeding off the regenerative cells in her womb.
Still Bedrest?
Maybe initially, yes. Until her body adapts to the new, intense hybrid DNA growing inside her, but once the baby’s healing factor “kicks in,” Elsa might stabilize faster than expected. She might still need emotional rest, since her magic is deeply tied to mental stability, but physically, she could become almost unshakable by mid-pregnancy.

hiii kris! i am a long time fan and your fanfiction is probably the only fanfiction I still follow to this day because your right is just TEWWW GOOD. i wondered if you have ever envisaged what Astrid/Elsa meeting for the first time would be like? either modern AU or a crossover within their universes? i recently watched HTTYD 2 and noticed a lot of parallels and also a lot of differences between them - but ultimately thought - what would they even think of each other? how would they interact?
HI thank you so much. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🙏 ilu 💕💕💕💕 thank you so much for this super sweet ask and your SUPER SWEET WORDS.
also, GAH, i love this idea. i had definitely considered their potential interactions in the context of rotbtfd settings (and i briefly briefly played around with a modern/magical-realism/mermaid!au take on this in frosted sea glass, but as those who have read the story already know, elsa has a very complicated dynamic with the others, astrid included). but now that you've brought up this idea, with a specific focus on the two of them in particular...? how might a friendship begin? an alliance? i am intrigued, i am intrigued, thank you for this. 💕
I DID NOT MEAN TO WRITE ANOTHER FICLET/ONE-SHOT AHHHHHHHHHH
also, FULL DISCLOSURE, to be absolutely honest, if you’d asked me this question 4 days ago, i would have had a completely different vision/response. (maybe i’ll still write this other version one day???) however... 3 days ago, i reblogged a fanart of elsa with her own ice dragon, and it’s been living RENT FREEEE in my head ever since, so, therefore, my reply to this ask, in this moment, is HEAVILY INFLUENCED and very much inspired by this gorgeous fanart on twitter/X from @Kiddo_hah (which i found from a re-post shared by @humongoustreemoon). i, too, have reposted the fanart inside this ask for dramatic effect™ but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be sure to GO TO THE twitter/x POST (linked again at the bottom of the ficlet too) and like, reply, and share this glorious creation, especially since i don’t have a twitter myself, thank you thank you 💕💕💕💕

“I know, I know!” Astrid urged Stormfly forward, patting her neck and gritting through the unnatural chill, the sharp-like blades of wind on the skin not protected by her armor. “Almost there!”
Stormfly cried out—willing, trusting, but cold, and she ain’t happy about it—charging forward, her powerful wings slicing through the frigid air as they neared the towering ice fortress.
Her eyes catalogued potential weaknesses, entry points, barriers. It’s not like Valka’s old hideaway… The structure loomed on the horizon, its crisp spires piercing the bright white sky. It’s so… unnatural…
Unliked the Ice Beast’s jagged spikes, these constructions were symmetrical—crystalline.
Hiccup—where are you!
Astrid decided on their entry point and swooped down to surge through the crevasse —for better or worse.
The biting winds were replaced with a bone-deep chill, and with a screech, Stormfly instinctively slowed their pace to mitigate the burn. Astrid’s armor was not comfortable, but removing it was not an option. What is this place? The deeper they ventured into the glacier, the more Astrid’s breath crystallized in the air. Impossibly, the bright ice around them shifted and shimmered as they flew past—as though the ice itself was breathing.
As if it were alive.
“I know, I know,” Astrid soothed Stormfly, but they couldn’t leave, not yet. “Don’t you feel that?”
And she knew the Nadder could; there, at the center of the structure, a pulse of power—something ancient and formidable.
Another Ice King?
Stormfly slowed to nothing more than a glide as they slipped into what could only be the deep core. This far inside the glacier's cavernous heart, there was no wind, no sound; only eerie, imposing, suffocating silence… save for the occasional cracks and bending twangs of the glacier, in the haunting song that only ice sing.
“Hiccup!” Astrid called out, unable to bear it, but although her voice echoed through the ice tunnels, there was no response. Astrid carefully surveyed the walls, searching for breaks, for sign of weakness, but the ice was immovable, vast. Astrid swallowed down the fear, the instinct to stay quiet, lest the ice respond, and crack, and break.
Was this a mistake?
—no. You’re here now.
Face it.
But what she found within the heart of the glacier was neither the hulking form of an ice beast nor the hollow emptiness she had feared.
What she found—was a face.
At the core of the glacier was a throne of ice upon a frozen dais, delicate yet commanding... atop which sat a figure draped in flowing robes as pale as the snow. Her garments were soft and flowing and light—better suited for autumn or spring, rather than the deepest core of a glacier. Astrid knew, beyond all doubt, that this creature… was not human.
Not human, not human, how, how, not human—
Stormfly drew back, screeching a warning, as Astrid's keen, analyzing, calculating gaze took in the sight of the woman—a monster in disguise?—at the center of this impossible fortress. The woman—this being—stared back.
Despite the Nadder’s every instinct, Stormfly followed Astrid’s formidable will and took them to the icy floor before the impossible throne. Without letting her nerves overwhelm her, before she had the chance to doubt, Astrid dismounted in a single fluid motion, her axe at the ready; this deep into the glacier’s core, the metal was already showing signs of burgeoning frost.
Although she wasn’t sure what she’d been expecting, exactly, she still hadn’t believed that the figure would rise from her throne. The woman lifted herself, her movements graceful yet commanding. Unnatural.
Astrid tightened her grip on her axe, ready to defend.
“You are lost,” said the woman. Her melodious, soft voice carried all throughout the cavern, against and through the reflective ice. All at once, the walls and floor seemed to shimmer with sunrise hues—glimmers of soft pinks, light blues, fresh lilacs.
Her hair, as white as the frost itself, cascaded down her shoulders, crowned with intricate icicles that sparkled in the dim light. But it was her eyes—cool, piercing blue, as light as the glacial ice itself, and glowing with the same unnatural power—
“I am seeking someone,” Astrid announced loudly, fiercely, with more bravado than she felt. Not human, not human, not human— “A man, riding a black dragon. His trail led me here.”
The woman’s surprise seemed genuine, but Astrid wasn’t ready to trust.
(Who are you! What are you!)
“I’m sorry,” the woman said, with soft confusion, with (feigned?) sympathy. Astrid’s gloved hand, her cold and aching fingers, tightened over the wooden handle of her axe. The air was so cold, Astrid half-wondered if the metal blad might simply shatter at first contact. Stay calm, stay calm, not human, not human—
The woman's expression softened slightly, as if hearing Astrid’s very thoughts.
“You are safe from me, warrior,” she promised, and Astrid carefully eyed the sympathetic slant of her brows, the reassuring tilt of her smile. Astrid inhaled, unsure, and exhaled, determined. “But you should not be here.”
“I’ll be on my way,” the words left Astrid’s throat before she could piece the puzzle together, “as soon as you explain who… and what… you are.”
The woman’s smile disappeared; the soft line of her mouth flattened into something stiff, her gaze hardening, sharpening. The air seemed colder.
“You must leave,” said the woman, soft yet unmistakably a command. “Your friend is not here. Leave at once and forget this place. I shall not be here if you return.”
Thousands of questions begged to spill from Astrid’s lips, but the woman—the queen?—turned her back on her—Astrid’s hackles instinctively raised at the slight, at the offense, at the dismissal—and she glided across the perfect, unmarred ice back to her throne. Astrid stepped forward, compelled into action, as the woman lowered herself on the seat with an unnatural, eerie grace.
“Please!” Astrid’s face twisted with confusion, with indignation, with annoyance, and—although she’d never dare—perhaps a tiny bit of trepidation. “You may not have sensed him, but I know he’s here. We were—that is—our home is under attack.”
The woman—she must be a Queen, she must have been, she must be—looked on, her eyes widening, as Astrid dared move even closer, approaching the dais. Astrid hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But there was something in the Queen’s presence—a strange, cold purity of truth that persuaded her to speak.
Her instincts had never steered her wrong… so far.
“The carnage led us north, where we found destruction all through the frozen lands… There was a sign of struggle, a great battle—we thought… we thought the damage was borne from an Alpha—an Ice King,” she admitted.
The queen’s smile was faint but genuine—and a little bit sharp.
“I am no Alpha. And I am no King.”
Astrid was in no danger, but its prospect hovered in the air, tingling on her skin, threatening the possibility.
“Please,” Astrid insisted. “I’ll leave you be,” she declared, not knowing if it was a lie. “Tell me what you know of the battle that took place outside these walls—who you faced, and how—so that I can find him. I’ll never return.”
From the way the woman’s brow raised archly, it seemed both of them seemed to sense the mistruth in Astrid’s claim; the Queen’s chin raised, considering; her keen eyes, defiant. Sharp. Astute.
Damn. Only honesty, then. No trickery.
Only honor, and duty, and valor.
“I will tell you what I know,” said the ice Queen. “But you will not like what you hear.”
Astrid swallowed, brow furrowed, and nodded. Her armor was growing frost, and it was starting to sting.
“I am bound to the ice,” she declared, and her expression slipped into something cold, something aloof. “As I have been, for an age… I know nothing of your politics, your land disputes, and I no longer care for anything beyond these walls. But I can confirm that when unwanted visitors encroach upon that which is mine—I shall respond in kind.”
“So… it was you?”
Behind her, the air itself seemed to shimmer, and then crack—like a frozen lake underfoot.
Astrid’s breath hitched as she watched the very essence of the ice condense, swirling like a storm gathering strength.
From nothingness, a massive form began to materialize—
Astrid gasped escaped her, as Stormfly shrieked, as the unnatural surge of power took shape, coalescing into the distinct outline of a dragon.
Its form—its body?—a thing of haunting beauty, shimmering with unnatural, almost ethereal light as it slinked forward. The dragon's head was massive and menacing, its piercing eyes glowing with an intense, cold light.
Its mouth was filled with sharp, ice-like teeth, lined within a jaw no doubt capable of unleashing a blizzard with a single breath. The ice demon of a dragon let out a piercing, shrieking warning call—to Astrid, to Stormfly, who was furiously cowering and spitting at the stranger’s might, unable to summon flames in so deep a cold—but from its horrible, beautiful maw, the ice dragon spat frost like sparks.
Astrid breathed hard, trying to keep her heartbeat steady as it leered forward, curling itself protectively around the throne and the woman upon it, its mighty claws never once gauged the perfect ice beneath. The beast's wings expanded, curling about the dais, each membrane almost translucent, laced with veins of ice.
Astrid was highly aware of Stormfly’s extreme displeasure, of Stormfly’s fright and distrust, even with her confidence in Astrid’s steady presence.
Look, Stormfly, look, she willed silently to the Nadder behind her, as she stared at the ice dragon's scales—a deep, frigid blue, glistening like frozen crystals in the pale light, rolling from deep indigos to pale lavenders. Don’t you see? Maybe this is what we were looking for—maybe she’s…
The ice around her rippled with power and, Astrid realized, in that moment—
She was the ice.
The ice dragon—is her!
Astrid’s heart raced. Is this—is she—an Alpha, after all? (A new, unknown species? Is she the dragon, or is it a part of her? An extension of her? The power emanating from this Queen and her dragon was unlike anything she had ever encountered. Hiccup! Did you see?
Were you here?
Do you know!)
“What are you? Who are you?” Astrid demanded, breath shaky, awed and alarmed as the ice dragon coiled more fully around the Ice Queen, radiating calm menace—and a deep, deep core of protection. Stormfly growled lowly, still clicking her displeasure, but fell briefly subdued when the veil of danger lessened... despite the ice dragon's dark, eerie presence.
This is it! Astrid's mind whirled through the possibilities, the calculations. If they could convince her to join them—if Astrid could convince her that they should be allies—
The Queen’s gaze held hers, steady and calm, as she folded her hands delicately atop her lap, resting upon her knees.
“I was once known as the Snow Queen,” she intoned, her voice steeped in quiet, ancient power, now impossible to ignore. “But those days are lost to time… and you, Dragon Warrior, stand in my domain. If you wish to find your friend, you must listen to the counsel, and the warning, I shall grant you.”
Ignoring her better judgments, yet heeding her instincts—
Astrid did.

Frozen 3 and 4 details from Jennifer Lee | Latest updates
Tumblr media
Jennifer Lee in an interview with Gamesradar gave a little bit more on the general story with Frozen 3 and 4. Gamesradar asked Lee if the announcement of Frozen 4 meant the threequel was being conceived as part of a larger whole.
Jennifer Lee said:
"We're really excited about where they're going, and we just have a lot of story to tell with that direction we're going in. So, I think, in my head, there may be enough for two in that story. But I'm really, really loving working with the team and where they're going."
Another interview, another sprinkle of hope as things sound positive and great. It's really good to hear that they have found more stories to tell and have decided to space it out into two films, and not rushing and cramming it all in one, because let's be honest there was still a lot left to tell after where Frozen 2 left us off at.
For Elsa I personally want to see her powers taken away and know what she really is and can be without them to show all that she's more than just her powers. Because most of her story arc is based on her powers and now that she's accepted them what would it be like if she didn't have them?
For Anna I'd like to see her be her own Queen, still keeping her goofy fun bubbly personality but as Queen.
For Kristoff, his past before the ice harvesters and Sven and his relationship growth with Anna with no longer having insecurities about Anna if Hans comes back (because Anna is way past Hans)
For Olaf maybe teenager Olaf or something along those lines of growth.
And yes for Hans. He needs to come back. I'd like to see redeemed and have a brother bond with Kristoff (maybe be adopted brothers) and yes, be with Elsa because those two have a lot more in common than one would think.
Lee also talks about Frozen approaching its milestone of 10 years.
"What I love about Frozen, I think it was unexpected for all of us. And we went into it the way we go into every story, which is really from character out. And the fact that it became something special, and that these sisters – really at the core is two sisters – I think for a lot of us was just very exciting, about, 'Who are those protagonists that we can tell these great stories of women, particularly women who are on each other's side, not against each other?' That was really exciting, that people responded to it. So I think in some ways, Frozen, to me, has encouraged us to keep telling different kinds of stories of different kinds of heroes."
From here we can rule out that the sisters will be against each other in the upcoming movies and to realise that Elsa and Anna, both and together are the core of Frozen. So there's a little hope for a permanent reunion between the two. I know she's talking about Frozen but I believe also about the franchise too. I also hope we get an emotional, beautiful duet between the two. "For the first time in forever - reprise" was quite it. It was a reprise too.
So let's see what else in the coming days gets revealed about Frozen 3 and 4. Jennifer is definitely giving subtle hints.
What do you lot make out of what Jennifer has said here?
