It starts with the silence of space. The kind that hums against the bones. He’s been gone for sixteen days, and the cold has made itself comfortable in your lungs.

He sends no transmissions. He never does. But something arrives a coded parcel hand delivered by a frightened officer who doesn’t dare look you in the eye. Inside,, lace, Midnight black, finer than breath, the kind of lingerie that belongs in a song. Agent Provocateur. His name isn’t on the card, but you know the handwriting like you know the tremble of his mouth when he says your name.

He doesn’t buy things. So this this offering wrapped in silk is a vow. A promise he’ll return.

And he does.

The door hisses open and there he is dripping starfire and shadow, robes still dusted in ash from some skirmish you don’t ask about. His gloves are off.

“Come here,” he says, voice like smoke, like ruin. You’re already moving before he speaks.

He doesn’t touch you like a man afraid of breaking something. He touches you like he’s already broken, and this you are the only thing holding him together. The lace is forgotten on the floor, but his mouth is reverent, his hands greedy. His words are not sweet. They’re honest.

“You think I forgot how you sound?” he mutters, nose against your throat. “I memorized your sighs like scripture.”

The lace doesn’t last long.

It was never about the garment it was about the ritual. About him seeing you in it, bare under the black, every curve he’s imagined under starlight, every place his hands have haunted in memory. He sits on the edge of the bed as you step out wearing nothing but that slip of shadowed silk and lace. His eyes, usually burning with fury, are wet with something quieter.

You straddle his lap and it feels like gravity bends around him. His hands slide up your thighs, slow, possessive, like he’s afraid you’ll disappear again. One hand cups the back of your neck, the other rests on your hip, holding you steady.

“I thought of this,” he says, forehead pressed to yours. “Every fucking night.”

You roll your hips slightly and he breathes through his teeth, hands tightening. He’s still in most of his robes, but his armor is gone left on the floor somewhere between the door and his need to feel you. You kiss him then, not a soft kiss but a slow, bruising one. The kind that says I missed you. I dreamed of you. I’m not letting go.

His mouth tastes like space dust and secrets. His teeth graze your lower lip, and he sighs like it hurts to stop. “You’re not allowed to leave this bed,” he says, voice wrecked. “Not until I say so.”

You smile against his jaw. “Who says I want to?”

He shifts, flips you underneath him like gravity itself betrayed you. The lace slips higher. His hand traces the garter strap, up to the line of your hip, over your ribs, like he’s memorizing topography. “You wore this for me,”he says, more to himself than to you.

“I always wear it for you.”

He hums. Like you just gave him something else to obsess over. He palms your thighs open and lowers himself, mouth dragging down your torso like a curse. He doesn’t rush. He studies. He lingers. His lips against your inner thigh, the dark rasp of facial stubble brushing lace, the heat of his breath right where you ache for him. His mouth moves slowly deliberately like worship. And it is.

The lace is pulled aside, ruined, and forgotten. He doesn’t stop until your thighs shake and your voice is hoarse. And even then, he kisses the inside of your knee like an apology.

You pull him up. Tug him out of what’s left of his robes. His body is carved and brutal, but he softens when you touch him—when your fingertips trace the lines of his chest, your lips follow. His eyes flutter closed. You guide him to you, and when he sinks inside, he gasps like he’s been gone a year and just found home.

It’s not rough. Not this time.

It’s intimate.

He fucks you slow. Deep. Like he’s trying to leave fingerprints on your soul. His forehead presses to yours, eyes open, watching. His thumb brushes your cheek. You kiss his palm. He whispers things between thrusts your name, his name, where he imagined touching you, what he dreamed of seeing. You tell him how cold the bed was without him. How the lace felt lonelier without his hands in it. How you didn’t want anyone else to ever see you like this.

He grits his teeth. “They won’t,” he snarls, suddenly savage. “They won’t even look.”

You tighten around him in response and he moans. The rhythm falters. You both fall apart seconds later, with his hand cradling the back of your head like he’s afraid of hurting you, like you’re made of stars.

After, he doesn’t move. Doesn’t pull away. Just buries his face in your throat and breathes like he’s trying to memorize the scent of you.

“You’re mine,” he murmurs. “You don’t even know what that means, do you?”

“I do,” you whisper back, tracing lazy circles into his spine. “It means you’ll burn the galaxy for me.”

He laughs. Soft. Dangerous. “I already have.”

Robin!Duke Thomas headcanons/rewrite because i'm in my feelings about him.If you think Duke's not a 'core Batkid' DNI and take your segregation somewhere else

He's the 5th Robin instead of Damian and The Riddler plot still happened but Elaine and Doug got jokerized during it so Bruce adopted Duke way earlier and he was 11 at the time

He is also trans,autistic,femme and afropunk!!2nd and 4th are canon coding but it's explicit here.Egg cracked pre-meeting Bruce so trans Batdad gets trans Batson gender affirming care like puberty blockers and makes sure nobody misgenders him.His Robin suit is Tim's Btas suit for proper repurposing,though it's adjusted from tighties to shorts and the pants/leg parts are ripped and the gloves are fingerless for that alt look

Alfred loves feeding him sweets and Duke always gives him the most adorable star eyes and thanks him because he may be rude but he'll be damned if he's mean to his granddad(his favorite sweets are lemon flavored frosted animal crackers)

He was pretty traumatized by loosing his parents and resisted Bruce's parentage at first due to it but came to embrace it as ultimately he's still a little boy who needs a parent to love and care for him.Bruce's reveal of his own orphan status certainly opted him to give him more of a chance but like a true Batkid,he never stops rebelling despite his unstoppable love for him

He arrives post-Under The Red Hood(movie compliant)but during Batgirl 2000(less racist and gayer)timeline wise so he bonds with Cass,Stephanie and Tim and they invite him on hangouts with 'the big kids' and Young Justice takes in Duke as an honorary little brother similarly to how Traya is treated as their little sister.Stephanie shows Duke all kinds of cool funky/cutesy/edgy things she's into which rub off on him per black siblings bonding and Cass seeks to protect Duke in addition and in thanks to him for teaching her some stuff about 'normalcy',like introducing her to arts and crafts and candy bars.Duke's Batgirl is not Babs,although they do get along-It's Tam and we'll get to that in a bit

Duke employs his powers in his Robin work and it earns him the nickname 'The Robin Signal' in reference to how often he uses his light to guide citizens to safety after him and Bruce take out the danger

His first solo/Year One Run is 'Robin 2007',literally,to distinct from Tim's run that wouldn't end for two more years.They got a crossover mini ofc ofc and it was called 'Robins 2009'

Robin 2007 had 53 issues and featured the introduction of Duke's love interest,albiet her debut as her own character was a good while before it in Aquaman:Luna 'Aquagal' Vásquez!!Luna is the Starfire to Duke's Robin i.e a black non-human girl who's bubbly,soft and princess-y but also extremely hardcore,well-hardend and lowkey mean and his longtime best friend from his sidekick days he's a slowburn perfect MADE soulmateisms couple with!!Their ship name is Thomquez but they're purely platonic until their mid-teens when new feelings ignite and riple into existense.Luna had her own run,Aquagal 2007 <3 Robin/Aquagal:Pals in Disguise was a super cute jumbo issue too!!(Notes:Luna is afro-argentinian,half atlantean half human and has white parts in black hair in a pattern that make her look like she has a constant moonglow halo on her)

Also Duke ships Stephcass so hard😭He was ooo'ing and making cheeky comments as soon as he figured out what was going on when Tim pointed it out to him and NEVER stops until they actually get together,which dosen't happen until Duke-yes,11-12 year old Duke-is an adult.He gives Cass tips on how to rizz up Stephanie after talking to Stephanie to figure out what would work best(turns out Stephanie really likes goth x pastel dynamic images/videos,mocking cheesy flirty memes,whimsical love quotes and X-Ray Spex lyrics)

Duke owns a walkman Tim gifted him and talks into it as a 'Robinlog' and it pops up frequently throught his entire existense as a character as soon as he gets it.Duke is also a big fan of My Chemical Romance,hip hop and disco music,black indie shit,classical literature(canon),video games,writing poetry and 'cutesy' diy(bedazzling,scrapbooking,homemade stickers,etc)!!As he grows up he takes up solarpunk bit by bit and same with glamrock!

Duke got exactly one year as Batman's Robin.On his one year adoption anniversary,him and Bruce had a fight over a case that scared him so bad he thought he was gonna fire him like he'd done to Stephanie so he ran away in the dead of night,straightup out of Gotham City(he was also smart enough to pack an oversized backpack of essentials to carry with him).He was found as the sun set as he tried to sleep in a cat alley with a family of fat calico cats he'd been taking care of on his lap by a 20 year old Jason,his departure taking place during Volume 2 of Red Hood and The Outlaws,a 2010-2020 release 120 issues run that takes place over 3 in-universe years.They have a short conversation that leads to Jason finding out Duke is his brother and combined with knowing he has nowhere else to go at the moment and Summer's(my dcsona)yapping about him thanks to their friendship,takes him with him to The Fortress,The Outlaws' base.Duke joins the team and finally makes friends his age in the other Kid Outlaws(which includes other black kids of all genders!!)but Jason is the member he's closest to

Luna comes in a significant amount of Rhato issues and even enough to be an honorary Kid Outlaw but mostly sticks to Aquafam stuff to avoid reducing her down to Duke's love interest.Duke isn't forced to kill but is a brutalist in his tactics thanks to growing up beating up bullies,Bruce's training and the influences around him and it scares him sometimes so he vents and asks for reassurance and they all gladly give it to him,including Luna,who tells him:'You could never be a monster or evil,Duke.You'll always be my best friend in the ENTIREST MULTIVERSE.And even if you were a monster or evil?I'd save you.You saved me when i didn't know i needed somebody to be heroes with to go on.I'd go there-ANYWHERE! for you too'Least to say,Duke is pretty sure this is the point he started seeing Luna in a different light(a girlfriend light.From 'I need her' to 'I need her to be my babygirl')(in the aave way.don't be weird)

The Kid Outlaws are a bunch of punk ass kids with a thirst for anarchistic justice,the fall of the crime system and extra thick milkshakes.They got the punk drips(including piercings done by the adult Outlaws!!)and everything and call eachother siblings and Duke is their leader despite being the youngest as he's the most capable and suited for the job.The KO includes Thad so they're kinda a 'sparkly sunshine boy/bad but sad boy' buddies duo and their inhereted powers and legacies are a source of bonding along with just liking eachother as people.Duke calls him 'The Thadman' and Thad had no choice but to warm up to it and Thad gets Duke to try out energy drinks with him and they collect trinkets and graffiti public property together and them and Jason are Prime Earth's variant of that picture of three black trans guys who just got their top surgeries all smiling together with bandages on their upper bodies

Duke and Jason are so inseperable.They do soul bounding over soul/dominican food(their 'this and yap' /hj),help eachother with hair care(Duke has a twists out and Jason is a dreadhead),are inside jokes lockout between them and their girlfriends,share a bed more often than not,play Animal Crossing religiously together and even got matching icons in The Outlaws group chat(set to Aang and Zuko because they're literally them!!'If we knew eachother back then,do you think we could have been friends,too?' is how Duke feels about Robin!Jason to Red Hood!Jason,,,,,).Jason loves Duke so fucking much and can't stop himself from doting on him and hyping him up nonstop and encouraging him to stop holding back his rage and impulses and jumping people for him and stealing/diy'ing gifts for him a lot and Duke does the classic 'i make fun of you to show you i think you're the coolest ever and how important you are to me' little brother moves to Jason and is protective of him back as he feels he deserves it after all he's done for him and will eternally do for him,most of all making him feel secure in his Robinhood(ha!!)

All the overexposure to so much and such intense science-y proterties and magic jazz and trazz caused Duke's powers to mutate from just dark and light powers to straight up reality warping(to add onto them-he still has his og power palette,it's too iconic to leave out).He gets stuck in a pocket dimension for a hot sec but Summer and Jason pull him out with Thad's help as an expert on that situation.The universe was trying to create the New 52 but Duke's Robinhood was stopping it so in a 20 issue arc to symbolize the 20 core Outlaws aka the 'Outlawed Robin Arc',even the slimest posibility of the N52 ever happening is erased headfirst headon by our titulary gang!Including Honorary Outlaw for two and a half months at the time Tam aka Batgyal!She awoke from her RR2009 coma and it lead to escapades of adventures with both Tim and Stephanie and she was given her own mantle by Luke,who thought it was about time she joined him officially and was her secret keeper on her vigilante life and sneak offs to reunite with Duke as her initial only motivation

In issue 39,Jason snarks he was just 'The Replacement Robin' and Duke defensively cuts him off with 'You were always my favorite Robin when i was little!I never even got to see you in action but you're my favorite for good now!' and Jason is struck clueless,completely unable to come up with a response but touched beyond words on top of his shock.And in issue 110,Duke sadly says '.........I was never a real Robin.I've been with you guys way longer than i ever was with Bruce-' and Jason cuts him off with 'Yeah,no shit you were never Batman's Robin.You're The Outlaws' Robin-You're my Robin and you always have been and you always will be' and Duke gets extremely teary but does a toothy grin too as they're happy tears so Jason smothers him in a hug in comfort and Duke's face takes up most of the final page and a text box reads on the same one:'Duke Thomas is happy.Jason Todd is happy again,thanks to him.They're eachother's Robin,on purpose and by choice'

When Rhato concludes(and The Outlaws stay in touch forever),Duke comes back to Gotham to discover Damian's now Robin and literally laughs at the ridicilousness of the situation,quipping he's glad he already had a new mantle in mind and offers him a hat he thrifted when they meet,along with a smile and affection in his eyes.Damian snatches it from him,huffy and embarrased over the unexpected warm welcome by him but appreciate it and liking the hat only in secret(a yellow one with floppy cat ears strings and an edgy styled strawberry charm).Robins and Batgirls(2022-2023)was a helluva run starring Dick,Jason,Tim,Stephanie,Duke,Damian,Maps,Babs,Cass,Tam,Alysia and Nell and Jason's the only one who got thirst trap covers as it should be(Okay that's a lie,there were Stephcass thirst trap covers too LMAO.Faggot rights!!)

Duke has two core runs post-Robin:The Signal(2020-)and The Lights(2021-),the latter of which is his own team!!The members are Luna as Moonguide and his right-handwoman,Kiran Singh from the Wonderfam,Tanya Spears aka Power Girl ||,Jenni Ognats/XS,Mar'i Grayson/Nightstar,Jennifer Williams/Batika,Sin Harper as Arrowette ||| and the team baby,Darla Dudley as Shazam Girl and two upcoming ocs,a black male Star Sapphire who had his heart broken by a white girl💔and an X-Gene mutant from Earth 616 who ran away from their home dimension!!Duke's reputation as Robin proceeds him as it increases the shenanigans both in his civillian life and as The Signal and Thomquez are my fave classic black love tropes:'Thick baddie who stays keeping her mans fed' and 'Cocky ahh and playful but sweet and soft black dude who accidentally comes across as mocking x Nerdy feminine black girl who's not mean but pretends to be annoyed by his flirting with her because she's too embarrased to admit she actually likes him'.They do matching superhero names as adults to show they're married:Eris(Duke)and Selene(Luna)

Naturally,Duke is enrolled at Gotham Academy at now 15 and he mentors Maps when she comes along,including playing his game of Batwingman for her and Damian.Big hit with the GA girlies but unfortunately for them he only likes Luna and dudes who're mean to him(Woah,he's bisexual!I knew that!Also a Sonic The Hedgehog fan and his faves are Amy Rose,Shadow The Hedgehog and Sticks The Badger and he stans Penny Parker and draws gijinka fanart.Before i forget he also had his own youtube channel pre-Rhato and all his subscribers thought he died and he became a Creepypasta-)

And Batburger is his childhood happy place dating back to pre-Jokerization.He still visits Doug and Elaine and met Gnonom in Rhato only to pull a Percy Jackson and be spiteful and tell him off for his abandonment with zero forgiveness but realistically was still sad and hurt over his neglect so he let himself cry when he got back to The Fortress so Jason and Summer took him to Batburger to cheer him up and that led to his first visit to his parents in a long ass time.It and Batburger trips are part of his lifestyle obligatorily bi-monthly now

OK, FIRST THING'S FIRST.

Starfire was changed, I suppose due to her Tamaranean culture being a culture of warriors, making her not fearsome of killing (if in her jurisdiction was someone worth killing).

(Another thing I'd like to point out, completely out of the topic, but notice how Starfire and Nightstar were so opposites on that? Like, mother unafraid of killing and daughter desperate to protect and avoid death at all costs? Worth an analysis later on)

They actually changed Robin and Starfire's personalities if you think of it. Like, Robin went from: "STAR, DON'T DESTROY THEM!!" "MOTHER**KER, THEY WERE LOOKING FOR IT" to: "ROBIN, FOR X'HAL'S SAKE, CALM DOWN" "whatever you say my beautiful future to-be wife."

Okaaay, not exactly swapped personalities, but close to it. Overall, Robin and Star kept their certain charisma. Starfire being driven by her emotions, and Robin feeling like he's in charge of everyone's health but his own.

And they didn't make her DUMB. She was, just like NTT Starfire, getting used to earth's customs. Although, due to TT's childish vision and comedy focus, eventually they made her look a little bit dumb. But mind you, she was wise on emotions.

"Robin has obviously hidden us the true about Red X because he couldn't trust us." "Cyborg doesn't feel human because of his robot side, but from my outsider's perspective, he's just a normal human conflicted with himself" "Raven is very different to me on various things. She likes edgy stuff and I like more pinky stuff, but we just need to find things we both like the same." "Beast Boy played a prank on me which I did not like. Once he understands my emotions, I will accept his apology which is reasonable because he made me feel bad."

And actually, if we see episode 3 of the season 3 ("Betrothed"), in which the titans travel to Tamaran, Starfire is taken very seriously. Just as her statements as her as a person, while the others are treated like Starfire on earth. "Those sounds that for you are noises, for me is music" "This is the correct way to eat on Tamaran" "NO BEAST BOY, THAT'S NOT A TOILE—".

Which is precisely the point of Starfire on NTT. She's not dumb, but she feels others might take her as dumb just because she's getting into a new culture she never had any previous idea of. Her culture is based on emotions while earth culture is based on knowledge.

I think Starfire TT03 is not the perfect capture of a character, BUT, is a good try. Actually, is not bad. Her personality was changed a LOT, but it was sort of balanced with Robin (which also changed from "please, don't kill them" to "you're lucky my moral code says no killing"). And even if they made her a puppy-eyed-for-Robin character, she managed to make her own plot aside from him, as well as she knew when not to be Robin's tail (she knew to respect herself).

Introduction 

Y/n’s info: She has pale fair skin, long white hair, and purple eyes.

 Her power is  Blood Manipulation 

Power information: This is the ability to control and freely move the user’s blood outside their body.

 To use her power, she has to inflict at least a small abrasion to draw the blood out of their body. She has to cut/injure herself to get the blood out so she can use her powers

Her blood is powerful compared to other humans’ blood. It can cut through anything or block anything, when using the blood she can create weapons/shields to protect herself. The blood can create anything she can think of if she wants to. 

Her Weakness: If she uses too much of her power(blood), she will become very weak, dizzy, and short of breath. Or if she is injured badly, or loses too much blood she won't be able to use her power. 

To regain her strength, she has to rest, sleep, or eat food, especially food that has sugar in it. But she does drink blood because she gets cravings for it and drinking blood does help her regain her strength faster.

She can heal herself and others too but must put her blood on the person’s injury to heal.

Chapter 1

It was a dark stormy night, and Y/n quickly ran away barefoot. Stepping on puddles, splashing water on herself. She turned a corner into an alley so she could hide. Sits down on the floor next behind a trash bin., before they can find her. Loud shouting seconds later passed by her.

?? 1: “Where is she!?

?? 2: “We don't know sir, we lost sight of her”

?? 1: “We'll find her, we can’t let her get away”

Y/n mind pov: “Fuck me my ass is wet now”, Looks around the area if she's in the clear. Breathing heavily “Jesus I’m so out of shape, I need to get moving soon”

She holds onto the trash bin and slowly stands up and peaks out of the corner of the bin and watches the red and blue lights slowly going away from the scene. Y/n looking both ways making sure everything is in the clear.

Y/n mind “Okay I think I should be good”, Y/n still leans on the trash bin and slowly starts to walk. “OWw fuck, Don’t tell me I screwed up my ankle”. She continued to walk, leaping on one leg. She goes onto the sidewalk when a bright light shines above her and points straight at her. 

Y/n mind: “What the hell is that thing”, putting her hand over her head so she can see. It is a helicopter flying above her and a bunch of police cars surrounding the area trapping her. 

Helicopter: “ We have you surrounded! Please surrender or if you don't cooperate with us. We will use force!”. Y/n clutching her fist, glaring at the floor.

Y/n mind: “Why don't they leave me alone? What do they want from me!” 

Helicopter: “You have 5 Seconds to surrender before we go in! 1, 2, 3–”. Y/n quickly moves her hand to her mouth and bites down hard, to the point she is bleeding. 

Police: “ Get your weapons ready to shoot!”Y/n lifted her blood in the air shaped them into bullets and aimed them straight at all the cops at the scene.

Police: “Now! Shoot her”, all the cops started to shoot at Y/n, she got hit so she lost balance and focused on her aime. So she regenerated her blood back to her and quickly started to run away avoiding the bullets. She runs towards a trunk and jumps on top of it and at the same time makes her blood into a snake whip. Y/n looked up in the air at the helicopter and launched the whip in the air grabbing the helicopter and pulling it down. But the helicopter fought back by trying to fly up and away. She uses her other hand and grabs the whip too and jumps down back on the ground. Throwing the helicopter down on the ground next to other cops’ cars. She re-shapes her blood into a circle, circling her body.

Police: “Call up for more backup, code 217 We need heroes ASAP!” 

~~~Meanwhile on the other side of the city, Dick Grayson was having dinner with a beautiful lady, and her name of course Starfire.

Dick: “Beautiful evening isn't Star?”, looking at the menu folder.

Starfire: “Yes it is, what do you like to drink? Red wine or White wine?”

Dick: “Both sound lovely just order whatever you want my dear”

Starfire: “Hmmm the pasta sounds so good”. The waiter comes over to their table.

Waiter: “Alright you two lovebirds, y'all decided what to get for dinner tonight?”

Starfire: “ Yes, we will have the red wine and I’ll have the alfredo pasta with chicken”

Waiter: “And for you sir?”

Dick: “Ahh yes I will get–”, his phone started ringing non-stop interrupting the date, “Excuse me for one second please”. Dick gets up and walks away to answer the phone call. The waiter turns to Starfire. 

Starfire: “Don't worry about him, he will just get the same thing as me, Alfredo pasta with chicken please”

Waiter: “Ohh okay that's fine”, writes down the order on the notepad “Alright we’ll have that order coming right up soon”.

Starfire: “Thank you”. Dick finishes up the phone call and walks back to the table and grabs his coat that was on the chair.

Dick: “Hey sorry Star but I have to miss our date again, work called me in ”.

Starfire: “What, Why? I thought they had everything under control”.

Dick: “Well I guess tonight it's busy and there is a situation downtown that they can't seem to control. ''.

Starfire: “Oh well what if I go with you to get it done faster so we can go back to our date?”

Dick: “Are you sure? I don't want you to ruin your outfit”.

Starfire: “Don't worry about my outfit, you should be worried once we get home Nightwing” dragging her finger down on his chest.

Dick clears his throat “Well we should hurry up and get going then”. They ran out of the restaurant leaving and hopping onto Nightwing’s motorcycle, they left some money behind for the waiter and a note saying that they were sorry and they had other plans tonight. Once they arrived in the area downtown where the trouble was. The sight wasn't that pretty to look at, police cars were flipped over or caught on fire, utility poles were down on the ground and the cables were springing all around.

Police: “Nightwing! Starfire! Over here!”. Cop waved his hand, singling them from where he was. Police: “Thank God you guys came, we can't seem to keep control of the situation or capture the girl”. 

Nightwing: “Yeah I can see that, what strategies have we guys been using?”

Police: “Well we had her surrounded but not anymore but something is wrong–”, Just then a red whip wrapped around the car and lifted it in the air. Nightwing and Starfire see Y/n.

Police ``Oh my god, how is she still standing–”, Y/n dropped the car but just before the car fell on top of them, Nightwing quickly grabbed the policeman and took out his grapple gun pulling them out, while Strafire dodged the attack. Nightwing moved to another safe spot to hide. 

Police: “Thank you so much Nightwing, like I was telling you this girl is a weird one”

Nightwing: “How so?” looking at the officer with a question.

Police: “Well every time we attack her without weapons, we see the bullets got hurt but a few moments later she all good like nothing attacked her”

Nightwing: “Hmm I see, well don't worry about it me and Starfire will take off now, I have a plan to catch her”. While Nightwing was thinking of a plan, he was watching Starfire and Y/n battling each other. Y/n had a circling of blood spinning around and bullets coming out of it every time she wanted bullets to come out to attack Starfire. Starfire was up in the air flying trying to dodge the bullets and sending her green energy blast at Y/n. 

Nightwing mind pov “Her powers seem very interesting, she could be useful in the Teen Titans better than using it for bad”. The Nightwing clicks on his ear microphone “Hey Star can you hear?”

Starfire:  “Yes Nightwing I can hear you, Have you come up with a plan yet?” 

Nightwing: “Yes I have a plan”, “ Alright what's the plan to take her down?”, “Well we have to knock her out”

Starfire: “Knock her out? Like, punch her? Don't you—”. Nightwing interrupted her “ No not like that I have to shoot her with a tranquilizer so I have to be close enough to her. So Star we have to do a trick which is where you have to throw me to her”.

Starfire: “Say no more I got it”. She flies around dodging all the attacks from Y/n, and shoots Y/n with laser beams. Y/n got hit by it and it set her flying into a building, making the wall collapse. At that moment Starfire took the chance to fly quickly towards where Nightwing was and picked him up in the air. Then Starfire started to head towards Y/n, where Y/n was slowly getting up from the ground.

Y/n mind pov: “Ughh fuckk me that hurt like a bitch”. Rubbing her head and holding on to the wall while holding onto her stomach. “I can't keep going on like this forever, I’m about to run out of energy soon, I need to run out of here”. Look around the area to see if there's an escape. But then she sees Starfire heading towards her carrying Nightwing straight at her. 

  Nightwing: “Starfire Now!”. Starfire throws Nightwing straight at Y/n. 

Y/n mind pov: “Wait hold up they are together? And who is the other person?!”, , she quickly grabbed a cement block using her blood whip and threw it at Nightwing. But Nightwing sees the cement block coming his way and puts his hands out in the front. Once the block was close enough he used his hands to push up to jump over the block, avoiding the attack. Then he was right next to Y/n and he took out a tranquilizer shot and tried to stab Y/n in the stomach. But she quickly sucked in her stomach and backed up. Starfire was right behind her, grabbing her, and pulling her into a backward hug.

Starfire: “Just stay for a second, sweety, we’re trying to help”. Nightwing in the moment took the chance and put the needle and pushed the liquid into Y/n’s skin. Y/n yelled in pain and she was panicking in fear. Starfire is still holding her down, “I know, I know I’m sorry that it hurts but it will go away soon”. Starfire was looking up in the air and saw giant red spheres in the air “Hey Nightwing, what is that?” Since Starfire closed up her grip, Y/n managed to free one of her hands. 

Nightwing: “I was going to ask you–” looks at Y/n’s hand “Star! Run! Get away from her!”, Y/n closes her hands into a fist making the spares explode into that area. Starfire was able to just get away, barely making it, grabbing Nightwing by flying, and after the explosion, Starfire put Nightwing right back down on the floor.

Starfire: “What the hell was that?!..wait how is she still standing up after that explosion? Starfire sees that Y/n is still standing up.

Nightwing: “Hold up, Star just give it a sec, the shot should kick in soon, just start heading towards her so you can pick her up”.

Starfire: “Alright then Roger that Sir”. Starfire starts to fly heading towards Y/n.

Y/n mind Pov: “Damn how strong are they, I need to fight back, I still have some strength left”. Y/n lifts her arm to aim at Starfire but her vision starts to get blurry “What the hell, Come on now focus, hit the target”. Lifts her arm again ready to aime but she starts to wobble, losing her balance to stand. “ What is wrong with me?”, her legs gave out and fell to the floor. Starfire comes in and picks her up in princess carry. 

Starfire: “I’m so sorry child but it is for your good, trust me. Y/n just looks at her.

Y/n mind pov: “What is going on, why can't I move '', Y/n slowly closes her eyes ``Why am I so tired” and passes out. Nightwing finally caught up to Starfire.

Nightwing: “Oh good, the shot kicked in just in time just like I hoped for”.

Starfire: “Hmm hmm but I just wished I didn't have to attack her, she was just confused and scared. Nightwing went up to Starfire and kissed her cheek “I know that Star but at least now we can treat her wounds '.

Starfire: “Yeah she does look in a bad state, I’m surprised that she fought for this long with these injuries”.

Nightwing: “ Yeah I just hope she can agree to be part of the team, we could use someone like her, Now let's get back to the tower.”

Beep— Beep — Beep—

Y/n mind: “What is that beeping noise??”She slowly opens her eyes and she stares up at the ceiling. She quickly remembers what happened. She tried to get up fully from the bed but something pulled her back, stopping her from getting out of bed.

Y/n mind: “What the hell!? Who chained me up?!”. Someone opened the curtains and came into the room.

Starfire: “Hey, hey don't freak out sweetly” walking towards Y/n and then padding her back “Tried not to move around so much, you’re still healing”. Y/n turned to face St Starfire, looking at her all scared and confused.

Starfire: “Look I know you just woke up from a long na—” Just then Y/n tried to take a swing at Starfire, but the chains stopped it.

Starfire: “Tsk I hate it when Nightwing is right” whispering to herself “Hey look we don't want to hurt you, we’re just trying to help you out here. And well we tied you up on the bed because we thought you might try to pull a stunt like you just did right now”. Y/n looks down at her legs “For like I was saying earlier would you like some food or a drink to eat?”

Y/n looks back up at Starfire and nods her head for yes. “Great, I'll come right back with a meal then.” Y/n just looks at Starfire walking out of the room leaving the curtains open. 

Y/n mind: “Well she seems nice”, she looks around the room “Looks like they have two other beds here, is there someone else here too?”. She lifts her bedsheet  “Hmm they changed and gave me a new gown”. She brings up her knees to her chest.

Y/n mind: “They do look like nice people so far, I just hope this place is better. I don't want to go back to that place”. The door burst open, and Y/n got scared and jumped.

Starfire: “We’re back!”Starfire and Nightwing walked back into the room, He was holding a clipboard.

Nightwing: “I guess you were right Star, she is up '', writing down stuff on the clipboard, Star puts a tray on Y/n’s bed.

Starfire: “ Okayy, here's the food I gotcha, there's some cup of juice, pasta, and a small Caesar salad, I hope you like it!”. Y/n smiled at her and nodded yes, she grabbed the fork and was about to dig in when,

Nightwing: “Wait, Hold up before she starts eating, I wanna check her first”, walk up to Y/n and pulls out a small flashlight.

Nightwing: “Alright I’m going to flash it in your eyes so don't freak out, I’m just going to check your eyes, Please keep them open and look up.”, Y/n hesitated and looked at Starfire, Star nodded and said “It's okay”, So she looked up and Nightwing flashed lights in her eyes.

Nightwing: “Everything seems to check”

Starfire: “Well can she start eating now ?”, “Yes, Star now she can”. Nightwing writing down information on the clipboard. Y/n starts to dig in eating the food. 

Y/n mind: “Not going to lie this shit is pretty good, So much better than that shit that they gave back home”.

Starfire: Hey sweety I know that you’re eating but we never really got your name?”. Y/n stopped eating, still having a spoon in her mouth and looking at Starfire with wide eyes and slowly taking out the spoon. “Well, what is your name?”. Y/n gulps down the food slowly and then clears her throat. She tried to speak but nothing came out of her mouth. She tried again but nothing, she was getting frustrated and grabbed the bed sheets hard but quickly had an idea. She points at the clipboard that Nightwing was using. 

Starfire: “Ohh do you want the clipboard?” Y/n nodded yes head yes. Starfire walks up to Nightwing elbows him in the stomach and grabs the clipboard.

Nightwing: “Ow! What was that for?”, “She wants to write and she needs the clipboard for it and you know what, give me the damn keys' '. She snatches the keys out of his pockets. “I'm taking the cuffs off of her” Starfire hands the clipboard to Y/n and starts to take the cuffs off of Y/n. Y/n quickly writes down and shows the clipboard back to Starfire. Starfire starts to read what she wrote, “Ohh your name is Y/n!”, Y/n nods and smiles “That is the most beautiful name I ever heard”. Y/n writes down thank you and shows it to Starfire.

Starfire: “You are welcome, ohh also”, bends down to grab a bog from the floor and out on the bed and shows it to Y/n. “ I picked out some clothes for you to wear and shoes too so you can have something to wear.”. Y/n went through the bag and looked at Star happily grabbed the clipboard again and wrote down “Thank you again”.

Starfire: “Well I’m going to let you finish eating and let you get dressed after”. Y/n already eating again and giving a thumbs up. Starfire got up closed the curtains and went up to Nightwing. 

Starfire: “So what is the plan with her?”, “Well, I was hoping to have a talk with her and put her into the Teen Titans team”, “What? Really!?”

Nightwing: “Yeahh We could use someone like her on the team and try to convince her to use her powers for good too”, “Sounds like a plan”.

Y/n finished eating her food. Y/n mind: “Well that filled me up”, she looks at the bag “Let's see what she got for me”, she takes all the clothes out of the bag. “Ohh these are jeans? I think, and this is a black hoodie and sneakers, black and white, ohh, and some undies”. She puts on the clothes “Hmm okay this looks isn't bad but I don't know how to tie these places. Ima ask Starfire”, she grabs the clipboard walks up to the curtains, and opens them up. And sees Starfire and Nightwing talking but then stops and looks at her. Nightwing decides to leave the room to get something.

Starfire: “Oh My God! You look so good. I knew that it would fit you!”, Y/n writes down on the clipboard and shows it to Starfire.

Starfire reads softly out loud “I don't know how to tie shoes, Ohhh here I’ll help with that”, Starfire bends down on one knee with Y/n and shows her how to tie shoes. 

Starfire: “And then you pull the two ends together to make it into a knot, here you can try to do the other shoe”.

Y/n mind: “Inside the loop and pull and make knots?? I think it goes like that?”

Starfire: “Perfect Y/n just like that”, Starfire helps Y/n stand up “Well me and Nightwing want to talk with you, come have a seat on the chair”. Y/n sat on a chair and Starfire grabbed another chair and sat down, Nightwing came into the room.

Starfire: “Honey she's ready to talk about your plan”, “Alright then”. Put the clipboard down on the counter pull a spinning chair and sit on it.

Nightwing: “Okay are you ready to listen to what we are talking about today?” saying this looking straight at Y/n’s face and she's making eye contact right back and nodding her head yes. 

Nightwing: “So you know you have powers and it looks like you sort of know how to control it and we would like to have you here with us. So you can improve your powers and also learn how to learn to do hand combat training …Blah blah”

Y/n mind “ Staying? Here with them ?? I don't know maybe”

Nightwing: “And hopefully joining—” Starfire interrupted his speech “ Joining our Team Teen Titans! AHHH!”Nightwing looking at Starfire.

Starfire: “What..I’m just so excited to have another new member on the hero team!’’, she runs up to Y/n and hugs her, Y/n stiffs up her body when Starfire hugs her.

Nightwing: “Well Star that if Y/n says yes to joining the team”. 

Starfire: “Ohhh right”, get out of the hug and look at Y/n. “Well, what do you say Y/n, would you like to join our team?” Y/n looks down at her feet.

Y/n mind: “I don't have anywhere else to go, plus they don't look like bad people. I could give it a shot and see how it goes”. She lifts her head back up and writes down on the clipboard and shows them the clipboard. “Yes, I want to join the Teen Titans”, nodding her head yes.

Starfire: “Yaayy!!”, clapping her hands ``I'm so excited I can't wait”. NIghtwing stands up `Alright then it's settled then she's in the team also Star can you show her around the Tower and her room while I grab the rest of the team so they can meet her '' he walks onto the counter and grabs a tablet. “Ohh and more thing” gives the tablet to Y/n, “This is a Kindle it's where you can read or write much better than a clipboard since I feel like you’re not much of a talker”. Y/n smiled at him and nodded flipping through the board and showing him the page saying thank you. 

Starfire: “Okiee let's go Y/n, I'll show you around and your new home!!”, Y/n followed right behind Starfire.

Nightwing: “Star, don't forget to meet up in the living room where the team is going to meet her”, yelling across the hallway.

Nightwing counting with his clipboard, “Ravens here, Blue Beetle heroes, Beast boy here Ro–, have you guys seen Damian ''. The team was sitting on the couch.

BeastBoy: “I don't know, we haven't seen him all day”

Nightwing: “Well he has to hurry up and be here soon, we have a team meeting”. Just then the doors burst open and in comes Damian.

Damian: “I'm here you can stop with the yelling now!”. Nightwing glared at him. “The meeting started minutes ago, we all were just waiting for you!”

Damian: yeah whatever be glad at least I came”. He sat down on the couch “Just get straight to the point I got stuff to do”.

  Night whispers to himself: “This kid is getting on my nerves–”. Star kicks open the door “And that was you from where you’ll be staying, Ohhh We’re back Nightwing!”. The whole team turned around looking at Starfire and Y/n. 

Nightwing: “Come up to the front Star”. They walked over to the front next.

Beast Boy: “Annd who is this lovely lady?” looking at Y/n.

Starfire : “Soo Night introduced her to the team”. Damian just looked at her mad intensely.

 Damian mind: “What is this girl with ugly grandmama's hair doing here”.

Nightwing cleared his throat “So guys this is Y/n and she is going to be the new member of the team”. Y/n smiled and waved hi to the whole team.

Damian mind: “Y/n ? What kind of name is that, and why is she so fucking happy. She looks so stupid”. Star clapped her hands all happy.

Raven crossed her arms “It's about time we had another girl on the team”

Blue Beetle: “Hey, what's wrong having us boys huh?”

Beast Boy: “Yeah what’s wrong with us Rae Rae??”. Raven looks at the two boys up and down “Nothing, Just look at you guys”.

Nightwing: “Okay enough with that chit-chatting, you guys will each help you Y/n and Damian”

Damian glared at Nightwing “It’s Robin while I’m wearing the suit, Remember”.

Nightwing  “This kid–” saying softly under his breath “Wait–”. Nightwing got an idea “Alright then, Robin since you wanted to be captain badly, Here's an opportunity for you to act like one. You’ll train Y/n on how to fight in hand-to-hand combat so she won't rely so much on her powers”.

Damian: “ And what are her powers exactly? Hmm??”. “That's something for you to figure out Robin.

Damian rolled his eyes “Hmph fine whatever”.

Nightwing: “Alright then the meeting is over, I hope you guys get along with each other.

Damian mind: “I can't believe now I can help this girl out”, He was just glaring at Y/n. 

Beast Boy walked up to Y/n. “Hey my name is Beast Boy, this is Blue Beetle, and Mama Raven and the angry weirdo on the couch is Damian or Robin”. Y/n wrote down on the tablet and showed them “It's a pleasure to meet tall guys”.

Starfire: “Ohh I almost forgot, so she isn't much of a talker but she will connect with you guys by using the tablet, okay”.

Raven: “Yeah that's fine, I wouldn't want to talk with these annoying guys either”. Y/n smiled and lightly chuckled at the raven’s joke.

Raven: “ I guess I like you, plus we girls should stick together”.

Starfire: “Yay I knew you guys would get along, Ahh oh my god we all girls should go on a spa day, shopping spree, ohh, and go to the buffet, Eeee! I can't wait!”

Beast Boy: “Yeah! Me too!”

Starfire: “Ehh no Beast Boy it's just going to be us girls”. “Oh that's okay I get it, I’m just excited that there's someone else that has a different skin color like me”. Beast Boy saying this while circling Y/n. She writes down on her tablet, “Yeah me too I'm glad”, she smiles at him.

Damian mind: “Why is she smiling so goddamn much, to everyone especially to Beast Boy. She looks so annoyed with that tablet. Why can't she fucking talk, Who is she? What's her power and why did Nightwing pick her to be on the team, we were just fine before. Now I have to deal with this crap, this is going to be a pain the the fucking ass.’’

I am so glad to hear someone else honest enough to admit the "BBrae" relationship is just not good. While I completely agree with everything you said, I also feel like it keeps persisting because of how it can be shoehorned into one or more of 3 boring relationship dynamics: 1. dog-like man/cat-like woman (i.e.- the sitcom relationship) 2. Turning beast boy into an empty shell for the reader to project themselves into so they can imagine having a hot goth GF or 3. #wholesome girlfriend/boyfriend

I mean. The fact is that there is a larger element to this issue which is.

Raven isn't a goth.

She's not even close to a fucking Goth.

She's probably the least Goth of the Teen Titans. She's distinctly a spiritualist person, her actual clothing she wears is all wool and is made up of bright colors. Even her costume is pretty solidly white for large chunks of the NTT era.

The only place she's ever been Goth is in the Teen Titans 03 show and stuff drawing on it after.

Like, the relationship they want her to have with Gar flies in the face of her actual characterization. At the same time it's just... boring? Like Gar and Raven dating doesn't add anything to the team?

The Starfire and Nightwing dynamic is fairly clearly established by their differing moral codes and expectations.

Starfire is more violent and emotional, but she's also more carefree. Nightwing is tactical and withdrawn, he tends to be more morally rigid, and tends to get caught up in worrying about things. Those present as clear differences, there's conflict there as well as the romantic basis no matter what.

Raven and Changeling don't really have that? I guess Changeling could be argued to be more murderous? Or more lighthearted? But it also just feels wrong? Raven is pretty open about her emotions and lighthearted after the destruction of Trigon and being saved from Brother Blood. She's more certain of herself and more openly emotional both in her joy and sadness. Same deal with Changeling to some extent, but not enough for an actual parallel.

Like where is the conflict or narrative to these characters if they're being written correctly as a relationship? At the same time, where do they actually click?

It's not just empty, it's literally a ship aimed at two different characters.

I'll also just throw out there that I think that most characters are in better places across the board when they're aloud to have romances outside of other Superheroes. Or at least if you're doing two Superheroes in a romance on the team do something interesting with that... but I've never really seen anything interesting done with Raven and Changeling.

If you could write for DC Comics what storyline would you give to Dick and Kory if they were a married couple?

Oh, that's such a beautiful question! This was meant to be a pretty short answer, but because I love them so much I got carried away and here we are, with this ridiculously long answer 🫠 It's going to be a lot of me rambling ahead, just to warn you! More under the cut! <3

First, the way I would get them married is by mostly following the original plan. I know some people will criticize it saying it leans too much into the damsel in distress trope, but frankly seeing how some parts of the fandom treat Kory as indestructible, it would be lovely to see her be saved for once, and how shattered and unstable Dick would be at the possibility of losing her. Also, considering her traumatic past, it would be extremely important for Kory to know that she is completely safe, that this man would do anything to protect her and save her no matter what.

In my version Dick would already plan to propose to her, he would buy the ring, make all the preparations, but he wouldn't get the chance as the attack happens and Kory is injured. Then it goes on as originally planned:

I love the imagery of him cradling Kory in his arms and the crowd of heroes parting to watch them. It screams classic epic romance 🫶🏻

However, I would definetly add the planned marriage from DCAMU with Dick fighting on Tamaran to marry her. So many people forget Kory is a literal princess, so Dick being her knight/suitor that fights for her hand in marriage against royal guards like in historic times would be very beautiful to see and again very classic-romance coded. I would incorporate it by making the fighting a Tamaranean custom that Dick is definetly not obliged to do by Earth customs, but which he wants to do because it's important for Kory's culture, her parents and her people and he wants to respect them out of love for her.

And again, the imagery which is simply beautiful and very fitting for them as a trope:

They would do a double wedding to honour both of their customs and traditions, with one ceremony on Earth and another on Tamaran.

Now, to finally start answering your actual question 😭, as an established married couple: Kory will definetly get her own permanent solo comic, no buts or ifs (I have a lot of ideas on how that solo should be written, with new villains, themes to be explored, missions, diving into Kory's psyche, her ideals, Tamaran, new heroes to mentor etc. but that is a conversation for another time). In their marriage, Kory would be a protagonist just as much as Dick. Not a deuteragonist, not a supportive character that just comes in every 3 or 4 issues to be nothing but the love interest, not the wife reduced to comforting him and then being pushed into the backround to let the man have the spotlight. That's not how it works for them.

Kory would be established as the complete leader of the Titans. Half the time she and her husband work independently — with her leading the Titans or fighting her own missions as Starfire, while Dick operates in Blüdhaven and occasionally with the Batfam. The other half they work together as a duo/pair, showing everyone how incredibly in sync they are on the battlefield.

I would introduce a new rogues' gallery for them as a couple, much more dangerous, darker and terrifying. I would want at least one storyline/case to be memorable and remain a classic for them — for example, one idea would be to uncover the corruption behind a very successful pharmaceutical chain, in which the doctors exhume newly buried bodies and use parts of them in their medication. Less on the fighting part this one, more on the analytical for Dick and Kory.

Another storyline would be a villain who stalks them for a long time, uncovers Nightwing's identity, injects Kory with a substance that essentially takes any alien power from her and leaves her as vulnerable as a human, and starts wreaking havoc and murdering people.

Another idea I would love to write for them would be a full blown horror one, with a vampiric creature that basically feeds with Kory's energy, leaving her weaker and weaker. The creature wants to make a bargain with Dick — his soul in exchange for Kory recovering. Him and Kory think of a way to trick the creature eventually.

An elseworld storyline would take place in the 19th century Blüdhaven with Dick and Kory as a married couple of detectives that track down a serial killer alike Jack the Ripper.

In their run, I would show Kory as a philantropist who, together with her husband, brings positive changes to the cities she protects. Not only defeating crime, but using their money for schools, orphanages, helping victims etc. In terms of fighting, I would place more spotlight on Kory's skills in hand to hand combat, instead of her starbolts.

On a personal level, they navigate and overcome the obstacles that come with them wanting to be heroes but also wanting to keep their loving marriage and enjoy a domestic life. How they balance work with making time for each other, how Zatanna or Vic or someone else would invent some magical object or device that changes some of Kory's appearance so she and Dick could go out on dates in public and still keep their secret identities.

How Kory gets accustomed to Blüdhaven and Gotham, how does she integrate in the Batfam, who does she click with, Kory and Bruce slowly but surely warming up to each other and trusting each other. At the opposite end is Dick becoming a royal consort, how he wants to learn about Kory's culture and be accepted by her people, how he learns about Tamaran and the politics of it. (He would definetly become fluent in Tamaranean)

I would love to write about Kory as Empress Regnant and Dick as her consort. I would love to write Dick taking the Batman mantle again but this time with Kory into the picture and the changes she would bring. I would love to write Kory and Dick involved in an intergalactic war.

Then around 3 or 4 years into their marriage, they have Mar'i. 🥹 And that will bring a new set of challenges: how do Tamaraneans pregnancies work, how is Mar'i as a baby, what it means to raise her, how does Mar'i develop her fear of death and how Kory and Dick try to deal with that. How being a mother and father changes so many perspectives for Dick and Kory and the way they look at certain things, making them even more protective and concerned.

Mar'i being born also opens the door for more dangerous and challenging missions, with villains targeting her to get to both Dick and Kory.

As a couple they would have some minor arguments here and there, because they aren't perfect and they have their flaws and no couple works like that, especially with such a stressful job as they have. But those rare arguments would always end in heartfelt conversations and would always serve a purpose to shed light on Kory's or Dick's way of thinking and how beautiful they work through things, not simply for the sake of drama.

At some point though, I would write a dark case that takes a deep emotional toll on Kory (a case that involves sa, trafficking, mirroring the horrors she went through), and she becomes so focused on it, so absorbed in making those horrors stop and helping the victims, that she closes off emotionally towards her own family. Because I want to completely reverse their Ntt positions this time, with Dick being emotionally open while Starfire gets lost in anger, with him making Kory open back little by little on how that case affected her, helping her heal from her past trauma, being a very loving and supportive husband that is in tune with Starfire's feelings. (Because that's who Dick is, DC, not some "happy go lucky" man child that runs from Kory's trauma.)

I would give them so many domestic moments that I feel are rarely used in comics but are simply so them and would be earned and a breath of fresh air after fighting and returning from the battlefield: tending to each other's wounds, washing each other, giving back their Ntt pillow talks, Dick combing Kory's hair, falling asleep in each other's lap, going through photos together, sharing their home office in comfortable silence, as well as pretty much the entirety of DCAMU. Terms of endearment, constant touches, dancing, photoshoots together, Dick tending to her garden, both being there for Mar'i's first words and her first steps etc. Moments that ground them and are the center of their world.

For Dick, of course, Kory and Mar'i are his priority above anything and anyone else. This doesn't mean he stops loving Bruce or his siblings or his friends, but his wife and daughter are everything for him, in every sense of the word and him prioritizing them is very much normal and in character.

I would constantly toy and play with so many storylines and different settings for them because it simply works so incredibly well for Dick and Kory, in a way that doesn't for any other couple — dealing with a political coup on Tamaran for an usurper to take the throne, gothic and horror stories with haunted castles, orphanages or asylums, detective stories, mythological settings that dive into Tamaranean religion and gods, modern Blüdhaven with serial killers or infractional groups, genetic mutation or experimentations in labs. Everything and anything can work for them, if only a drop of imagination is used and they are written with genuine love.

Kory and Dick are both literal goldmines of characters, in a way few are, but they were never used to their full potential and I fear they never will be. Because DC is too lazy and lacking in talented or original writers.

And none "particularly" showed an interest in Yuma... Pucci had a cute moment, and Fubuki... Fubuki.................. (❋•‿•❋) Well, Fubuki was definitely a Sonia-esque character. Or Starfire-esque, if you ever watched Teen Titans. Guillaume was an antagonist, but that's never stopped me. Redemption arcs are rad, don't you know? (❋•‿•❋)

They understand the struggles of being way too powerful, but they also have a positivity and love for life that could really stand to rub off on Rogue. She doesn't necessarily have a dedicated DC crossover, but the universes blend well enough. uwu

HONEY LEMON & CAMERON MACCLOUD : Science girlies. Honey Lemon is so incredibly smart, and Cammie is considered a prodigy in her field. I feel like crossing Cammie into the BH6 universe would be so easy, and she's just a little computer coding nerd. Her hobby is hacking government agencies and transferring funds from billionaires to people who need it.

WILLOW PARK / PACIFICA NORTHWEST / STAR BUTTERFLY & AMITY BLIGHT : okay, the Willow connection is obvious so I'm gonna not harp on about that one for too long but I love their friendship, it means so much to me gdi. NOW. Pacifica and Amity? Two rich girls from emotionally abusive homes who had to learn how to be nice because it didn't come naturally but gosh darn if those weird new friends didn't turn their lives around? These two have so much to bond over and I scream about it from the rooftops. AS FOR STAR : Mal and I have an AU for Tom where he and Amity were friends across dimensions due to family exposure. I think it makes perfect sense in that universe for Amity and Star to know one another! ( and honestly, these three muses would also suit any of my other Owl House muses as well but this was where I had ideas. )

[Kon's] emotions feel heightened now that he’s out of the containment tube. He takes a sharp breath and scrubs a hand over his eyes. He’s not crying, but why does he feel like he might? 

Starfire stops suddenly. A long way before they reach the next room in the Psion's labrynth of a ship.

Kon’s hackles raise, and he prepares himself for a fight. But to his surprise, Starfire looks at him with an odd expression. Furrowed brows and empathy. She reaches for his hand, and tucks it into her own. 

“They are on Earth,” she says. “They’re alright. You are the one most directly in danger.” 

Kon feels selfish, suddenly. His face burns. “That wasn’t what I was worried about,” he admits. “I was just…” 

Starfire looks at him, encouragingly. 

“I was worried they’d forgotten about me.” He swallows. “Again. But- if they’re texting, then-” 

Starfire gives him a long, unreadable look. Then she presses the communicator into his hands, deliberate and significant. “...They would be coming for you if they knew where you were.” 

He swallows. “That’s what they said.”
