you've probably been asked this before but how did you get so good at human anatomy????? like obviously you're amazing with dogs, but i just loveee the way you draw your anthro characters and how you're able to make them so lifelike and human(ish)!! so i was just wondering, what resources did you use to get good at this?

This is going to be such an useless response, but I don't know if there's any specific tricks to learning anatomy, or at least I don't feel qualified to try to dissect and explain them. It's just decades worth of practice and trial and error :'>

I've done a few courses of life drawing and I'd argue that it's surprisingly effective in calibrating your eye to understand poses, proportions, perspective and the line of action. It gives your figures that certain organic liveliness and fluidity. Other than that, I'm always lowkey observing how people move and bend and gesture, and trying to internalize it well enough so I can replicate that on paper. Archiving stuff in the visual library for later use.

And thank you! I'm flattered you think my anthros look believably lifelike! Anatomy is a longtime interest of mine, it's something I'm particularly motivated to figure out. Even though my ability to capture bodies is still very far from where I want to be, I feel like I'm going in the right direction.

this was so fun to make!!!! i love being able to put my ocs into different situations like this instead of them just standing there in a void. basically, the lore for this is that semathet (grey/black one) is helping its sibling sothylat (white one) out of the waters of the void. they're both gods, but they don't know that yet, since they've literally just started existing.

i think i would've been okay with just the greyish pencil background, but i wanted it a bit darker (since it's meant to be the void, and the void is supposed to be pitch black) but the marker i started using was threatening to give up lol. the lineart was the best part of the process, especially with drawing the ripples around the two characters! the coloring for the border is so so shit but it was fun in the moment so i don't really mind.

How do you color and render?

extremely simply LOL its almost not even really worth explaining but heres some shots without all the shadows

pretty much just flats, and 2 layers of multiply in a dark blue, main shadows and the extra fark ones, and a couple gradients on top like this

As everyone celebrates New Year’s Eve 🎉 and prepares to welcome a new year filled with hope and joy, I find myself alone in the darkness of pain and suffering 😢. The shelling by the occupation's aircraft has destroyed my home 🏚️ and deeply wounded me, as shrapnel from the explosion has entered my body.

I underwent surgery 🏥, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful due to the **collapse of the healthcare system** in Gaza. The doctors told me that the only solution is to travel to a country with an advanced healthcare system 🌍 to remove the shrapnel, but the road to recovery is not easy.

I have created a fundraising campaign 💖, but so far I have only been able to raise **1,000/10,000 Euros** needed. This amount is not enough to cover the treatment costs.

Today, I come to you with heavy news and an urgent plea for help. A few days ago, one of our fellow queer community members was brutally attacked by a hostile local community because of who he is. Since the attack, he has been in unbearable pain, and today we were finally able to get a medical check-up for him.

The doctor’s feedback is heartbreaking:

He needs to undergo a serious surgery to properly treat his injuries.
