On October 4, at about 2:20pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), FEMA is doing an emergency alert test. This means that all phones, regardless of if they have been placed in do not disturb will go off with that beeping noise. If you have a secret backup phone that you need the people you're with to not know you have, set a reminder to turn it all the way off.

For apple phones, this means holding the power button for five seconds and swiping the "power off" switch that shows up on the screen. Same with androids and early google pixels, except you'll be tapping a button. For google pixels 6 and later, you'll hold the power button and the volume up button at the same time. To turn on for all phones, you'll hit the power button and wait a sec.

Remember that the alert will still come through when you turn your phone back on, so make sure that you are in a place where that noise is safe.

Note that, for whatever reason, if they can't put out the alert, the backup test date is October 11th.

Y’know I think this is the only time in Emesis Blue where Fritz looked genuinely happy, and it’s a picture from a while ago.

Like his other, more aggressive personality smiled vengefully, but that’s different. That’s not actual happiness or joy, he was just getting really satisfying revenge. And the smiling didn’t last on account of Scout being dead.

Then there’s the bathroom scene where he smiles at Scout, but even as he was smiling, his face wasn’t moving right. Because of the ambulance crash.

He was already stressed and downtrodden before Scout got kidnapped and killed. From his first scenes he was not okay emotionally/psychologically and needed help.

Scout was a really good friend and offered to let him stay for dinner. But then he was brutally stolen and killed.

I’m the sort of person that wants the comfort at the end of the angst/hurt. Like an oasis in the harshest desert. I’m here for the characters getting the good things that they’ve been deprived of. Soldier is struggling about the same now, but at least he had some levity in his scenes before the slaughterhouse.

Ludwig wasn’t even cheered up by talking with Scout because he was still sick from a respawn failure.

I just want them to be happy and safe like

Hey what’s that tumblr-utils to back up your blogs? Is it the extract one in settings?

tumblr-utils, specifically this fork called tumblr-backup (forgot it uses a different name from the main branch... lol... lmao...), is a python script that allows you to back up your blog locally in a way that displays the posts in a readable format.

It allows for a lot of customization, such as including a tag index alongside the dates, incremental backup (so if you back up 1000 posts the first time and then make 100 new posts, you don't have to back up 1100 posts the second time! just the 100 new ones get added on to the old backup!), continuing a failed backup where it left off, saving audio and video backups, only backing up your own posts and excluding all reblogs, etc. there's a full list of options on the github. and, if you're into css, there is a file you can change to set up a proper css layout. i haven't touched it yet, obviously, but if black-on-white text isn't appealing, there's a way to change that!

and it being a python script really isn't as scary as it sounds to anyone who's never used it before -- I hadn't touched it until i found this tool! it's pretty simple to set up. it just might take a bit of figuring out your first time around, and then you can save a text doc of your backup options to just copy-paste into the command line later (i blacked out my blog urls but you can get the gist)!

^ i just copy these into command line one at a time every couple of months, let each one do its thing, and then i'm all set for a while! no more having to download gb after gb of data every time i update my blog, no more having to back up reblogs if all i want are my own posts, no more unorganized mess of a backup! yippee!

Depending on the system there can be various forms of hierarchies. Some system hierarchies are: Spiritual Hierarchies Classification Of Demons Hierarchy Of Angels Command Hierarchy (Military) Social Class Script

There are base programmes such as; no talking, callback, and access programmes. Alters would have different rules depending on their role within the system. For example a system protector would have different rules than a gatekeeper.

Backup Programming-If a base program begins to fail a backup program will begin to run. The backup program will be the same program but with different codes. There are usually two backup programs for each base program. (Base Program)

like y'all won't believe what happened rn

i'm shaking as i type, i literally have tears in my eyes. just background info, i have prescription glasses, and the powers in my right and left eye are different and they both have both cylindrical and spherical lenses. and most of the prescription glasses that i have seen, have either cylindrical or spherical lenses(spherical being more common)

so i hope you understand my surprise.

i went to a local cafe with my friends today yk to have some fun after exams and to enjoy the holidays. we order some snacks and my friend A suggests that we like take some pictures before the food arrives. now, we take some pictures, I vividly remember wearing my glasses for some of the pictures. after we looked at the pictures we found out that my glasses were reflecting the light making me look somewhat like yk that anime light up glass person(i'm sorry idk the name for those)

So after we laughed about it, I TOOK OFF MY GLASSES AND PUT IT ON THE TABLE RIGHT NEXT TO MY WATER (MY FRIENDS SAW ME DOING THIS ISTG), and we took some more pictures we came back to our table and i took my glasses and put them on, as i'm putting them on i slide the frame behind my ear like every normal person, so imagine my surprise when i feel the frame touching something. and i like check my hair incase something was stuck on it. and. AND I FIND MY EXACT SMAE GLASSES RESTING ON TOP OF MY HEAD. omg im so scared that i'm about to cry. my friends and i were so scared that we canceled our order and left(that's how ik that they didn't prank me cuz there's no way we would have paid money and not eaten the food)

like we checked all the pictures and sure enough, the glasses were on my head (ISTG EVERY PERSON WITHOUT GLASSES CAN'T RELATE BUT I PROMISE I NEVER NEVER PUT MY GLASSES ON TOP OF MY HEAD, ITS JUST NOT AN HABIT)

and now i have two absolutely identical spectacles, with the same frame and the same power, i am so scared like idk what to do

is this my experience about the glitch in the matrix
