Hi all! I am a sixth year medical student from Gaza my journey began in Gaza, where i had been steadfastly studying to become a doctor and serve his community. After the Israeli military bombed both my home and the hospital was practicing in, i sought temporary refuge in Egypt. From then on, i aimed to gradually finish my final semester in Turkey.
However, as promising as this opportunity is, it comes with its own set of challenges. Living expenses, accommodation, and basic needs in Turkey are beyond what Mohammed can afford. He needs to raise $14,000 (GFM processing fees included) to cover hisliving expenses for the 12 months he will be in Turkey and he aims to dedicate a sizable amount towards evacuation funds for his aunt's family in Gaza. This amount will secure a room to rent, daily necessities, and allow him to focus on his studies as he provides a lifeline for his family.
This is where we need your support. No amount is too small, and 100% of what you contribute will go towards covering Mohammed's living expenses in Turkey and his family's evacuation funds. Thank you for your time and please share this campaign with your friends, family, and any healthcare worker orgs for Palestine.
INTERNATIONAL HOMELESS ANIMALS DAY IS TODAY, ON AUGUST 17!
Hey! And thank you for your help!
I remind you that I feed stray animals. They have no home and no family. They are abandoned and no one needs them, they live in basements, attics, garages and other old buildings. They are still alive only because we feed them. 25-30 cats, I don't know the exact number, and there are also dogs. They all want to eat.
We don't have enough money because there are a lot of animals. And food is needed every day. I am asking for your help, because without it, the animals will starve and die. Please don't ignore this post, share or donate, if you can.
My book is getting published soon and I need someone to go over some things with me to make sure I’m not being insensitive. It’s not a major plot thing but I still want to have insight and conversations as I know learning and growing does not just come from research. I’m a white girl but my book has two main characters of color therefore I specifically need:
Native Korean or half Korean person (any gender) who is fluent in the language
Native Hawaiian female (preferably)
Please anybody who is interested reach out to me! I don’t have a lot of money, but I am willing to come to payment agreement 🙏
The digital English translation of my first published comic is up and available for purchase!
The comic "Break what fate builds", draws inspiration from historical events from the 12th century and motifs from the Byzantine Empire that ruled these areas. Through the characters' eyes, this story focuses on the relationship of young people within the Balkan & their home, distortions of identity, things long lost and much more.
You can get the digital version of Volume 1 here (available in both English and Macedonian) <3
My wife and I need some necessities and medical treatments and funds are tight while job searching. So I’m opening up a comm sale to raise some money! Donations are also accepted if you wish to help.

• interesting fact: did you that in the state of Montana, if you can’t pay for burial or cremation within 1 week of the funeral home collecting it, they’ll keep your loved one’s body and refuse to tell you what they’re gonna do with it??
• I’m still a sad bitch and want to order some dumb stickers just for fun to cheer me up a little (my birthday is February 28th. It was also my mom’s birthday, so this one is going to suck emotionally)
• any shares of this post would be helpful

"It's out of love for you, my child. You are my child, and I love you, and I want to stay with you. But you are safe, and the children there are not. They need protection."- said Peter Fouche, a British volunteer medic, to his daughter Nikola
Rose Fouche, 87, flew from South Africa to eastern Ukraine, traveling tens of thousands of kilometers to come to the Kharkiv region to see her son Peter.
- I came to see my son, just to show him my love. I missed him, but he is doing wonderful things here. He cares about people here.
This winter, Peter recorded this desperate video for the Western world. Peter is a British volunteer paramedic who, after seeing children die at the beginning of a full-scale war, could not stay at home and went to Ukraine. It was his love for his daughter, Nikola, that motivated him to get involved. I said: "It's out of love for you, my child. You are my child, and I love you, and I want to stay with you. But you are safe, and the children there are not. They need protection."
Once in Ukraine, Peter helped build a field hospital in Brovary and received medical training. Then came Kharkiv, Bakhmut, Sievierodonetsk, and the first lives were saved on the battlefield. Together with a Ukrainian from the UK, Tatiana Millard, Peter created Project Konstantin, an organization that has been supporting civilians and medics during the war. It was named in honor of their friend who died in the battle for Kherson. With the support of international donors, who provided them with the necessary equipment. They repeatedly saved lives and each other until the last day, when Tetiana was killed on a mission. It was a heavy loss for Peter... Now he is fighting in her memory. In a difficult moment, he tries to cheer up the wounded with his British humor. Peter's soul is warmed by thoughts of his daughter, Nikola, who is waiting for him at home alive. He also receives messages from the rescued soldiers who send him their photos from time to time. "Thank you for saving my life, I'm back in the ranks."
This meeting with his mother in the frontline Kharkiv region became a breath of fresh air for Peter to continue fighting for Ukraine.
- This is my mom, my example. You look incredible!
- My Peter! My boy!
She stayed with her son in this modest room for a while and then returned home. And Peter remains with Ukraine and continues to save Ukrainian soldiers in fierce battles.
