Random facts about my writing that no one asked for:

If converted into pages, The Babysitter is roughly 360 A4 pages, Good Luck, Babe! only 50 pages

The Babysitter was supposed to have an unhappy ending with Reader leaving to go to her dream Uni in England but I fell in love with them too much to break them up

Good Luck Babe was initially a one shot but I liked the idea too much to only have it be about 6k words

The Soldier Of Death Fic was inspired by a Tik Tok Edit of Natasha

I can only write in a chronological order (eg I can't write what I want to happen at the end of a chapter unless I've written everything else)

I have no experience with sex so every piece of smut I write is based on either my imagination or for extreme kinks, google research

I partly planned a slow burn fic where the Reader falls for both Natasha and Wanda in different ways but can't chose who she loves more causing tension, follows the MCU events (Starts in CA TWS)

I have a drafts and drabble google doc that is about 20k words of so many people's requests that I have planned/attempted to write but ultimately failed to write. (sorry)

I had another story line planned with the Reader's mother in the Babysitter but after losing my own mother this year, I decided to scrap the idea.

Feel free to ask me anymore questions about my writing, I'm trying to force my way out of this slump.

anyone else prefer the fics rather than the actual show?

and I don't mean in the "the show is awful but the fics are amazing" way, what I'm talking about is the "I literally know nothing about this fandom or its show, or who most of the characters are but THE FICS ARE HEAVENLY so imma just read the fics and not bother with the show at all" kind of way. cause, I've been doing that and am having trouble with looking at the source material. just me? maybe I just like suffering by having to google every single character.

To my fellow fic writers - How do you make it through writing a smut scene without getting horribly turned on?? I swear to god, these scenes KILL ME! Is there a way to shut your brain off from the sex while still being able to write!?! What do I do?! xD But yes, I've taken a break from my Homelander fic to work on Chapter 7 of my Daemon fic and it's SMUT HEAVY- which btw, if you're into that story, there is a lot more posted on AO3 while I work to catch up on posting here. Oh! And I also have another HUGE Homelander fic on AO3 called Sympathy for the Homelander which I have yet to post here. Soon.. soon. Now back to our regularly scheduled dying from too much Daemon hotness. X_X

i wanted to write a fic with a character i really like, but i don't really ship him with anyone. 😅 so i was wondering what people's preferences are for self insert fics? do you prefer an oc that has their own specific personality, appearance, etc or a reader insert paired with a cannon character that's gender neutral and no specific appearance and stuff?– if there's a third option you prefer, id love to hear too. 😵‍💫 i plan to write in 2nd person if i do the reader insert since that works better for me. >.>

You ever just revisit your old fics (which unfortunately are public to the world) and you want to delete it so bad because it’s just painful to glance at, but at the same time, you know someone out there is emotionally attached to that fic and you just don’t have the heart to rip that away from them.

It seems like I got my inspiration back and I'm here with a new story.

It's an Avatar the Last Airbender one, which will feature the beauty that is Zutara, personal growth for everyone and a badass OC.

I was actually CRAWLING like a wretched slug though the said WIP (yep, it's still Taken, Part 3 *sobs in struggling writer*), but thanks to your comment, it's gaining a little more speed today! Fingers crossed that kernel of motivation snowballs, 'cause I've had a very rough, low-production January, fic writing-wise.
