It's hard to believe that it's been 3 years since Amity kissed Luz on the cheek. My heart beat in joy when I first watched that scene, and the soundtrack at the end was so good that I had to listen again many times.

I had just finished an important examination at that time and seeing that beautiful moment was a big comfort for me.

It will always be one of my favorite Lumity moments in the show.

You and your boyfriend had just arrived from the premiere of your new movie. Charles had been there to hold your trembling hands, to remind you that you were doing great, and also to bring you calm in all that commotion. It was your first starring role, a very important moment for your acting career and you didn’t want to ruin it.

Everything had gone very well, you had posed for the cameras and then in the cinema room you had sat next to your other co-workers and of course, next to your boyfriend. The film was applauded and you were happy with the result of your performance. It was a film that you had put a lot of time and effort into, and now that the movie had come out, you were proud of your work.

However, your boyfriend has been acting a little weird since he finished watching the movie. At first, he kept smiling, but once you finished watching the film, Charles had driven home quietly. Something was wrong, you could tell by the way his brow was furrowed and he didn’t say anything. Now that you were in the comfort of your home, your boyfriend went to the kitchen and poured himself a glass of water.

You took off the heels that hurt your feet and waited for his answer. Charles finally spoke.

"Did you have to kiss so much?"

"Excuse me?"

"You and that guy. In every scene you were practically doing it, well, in a lot of scenes you were doing it."

You finally understood what was happening to him. Some scenes had been quite intimate between you and your co-star, that was true, but everything was fake and for the sake of the movie.

"It’s called acting. It wasn’t real, Charles."

"It seemed quite real to me."

"Are you jealous?"

"No."

Your boyfriend was a bad liar. You looked at him for a moment, his face showing how much he had bothered to see you kiss another man. He was serious, just like when during a bad race. It was a face you knew a lot, because whenever things went wrong, he would come to your side to find comfort.

"No way.... You’re actually jealous."

"Maybe I am a little bit jealous. But who wouldn’t be? You were kissing him!"

"Nothing was real, is just my job, Charles. It’s a movie, I’ve acted before and I can swear I never developed any feelings for my other teammates."

Even the scenes of sexual intercourse had been completely taken care of, you and your co-star had shared nothing but fake kisses. Charles remained upset about what had happened and you had the amazing idea to start laughing. It was funny because he didn’t have a real reason to be jealous, you couldn't care less about the other actor, not at least in the way he was concerned about.

"What are you laughing at? I don’t see anything funny..."

"You’re cute."

You narrowed the distance between you and him and decided to kiss your boyfriend. Charles seemed a little calmer once your lips came together, maybe all the questions and doubts disappeared once he knew you were there with him. The kiss you shared was true, his lips made you tremble and feel something in your heart. However, the kisses in the film had no meaning, you had felt nothing. You were in love with him.

"I love you, Charles. I choose you, I always choose you. It was just a movie and I was just acting, you don’t have to be jealous of anyone because I’m yours."

Charles finally opened his eyes and looked at you through his eyelashes.

"You’re mine?"

"Yes, I’m yours."

"Good."

This time, he kissed you. His lips joined in a warm kiss and his hands approached your face and your hair, in a desperate grip to draw you even closer to him. His hands then went down to your waist, leaving soft caresses on your skin, above your dress. You took your time to be able to breathe again, Charles had a unique way of making you feel loved.

The first couple is one of the most precious ones of this year. We knew them and we knew they had incredibly chemistry and could act really nice, but nevertheless they blew us away:

Heart and LiMing from Moonlight Chicken

Their story was so wholesome and important. Their journey was so good. LiMing's struggles with his mum and his uncle, the money and the fact that he wanted to see the world were so ordinary and felt so real it was so good. And Heart's problems with his parents and the urge to be more independent and to be seen felt so sad and Gemini was so good. Oh I love these two and their stories!

Next we have a show I didn't like that much, but I was in love with the side couple. They were the only reason why I kept up with this show.

Zeke and Fifth from My Story

They had an extreme intense chemistry. I loved them on screen and their journey to finally become a couple. I was hyped for their own show and was so let down. I couldn't watch it. It was too much cringe for me, but this is just personal preference. In My Story I adored them and this scene especially.

Next is the couple, that has the most entries in all of my Top 5s this year:

AiDi and ChenYi from Kiseki: Dear To Me

I love them. They stole the show and my heart. Their dynamic is so adorable after they finally become a thing. In the beginning I was a little put off. I didn't understand their relationship, but within a few episodes this changed I was rooting for them so much! I was so happy when ChenYi finally understood his feelings for AiDi and AiDi finally got what he wanted desperatley for years!

I don't know if the next one counts... The show has three couples and I guess one was the main couple. Well, I cared more about the other ones.

Love Class 2

Maru and Minwoo had the softest kiss this year in my opinion and Sungmin and Joohyuk had this lap-situation and everything else that came after. I really enjoyed their stories and their characters. The main couple was just not that interesting for me. But because of the side couples (or the other main couples) I enjoyed this series so much!

I close this list with a couple, that is a little bit problematic for me. I don't like the series that much, mostly because of the main couple and the bad writing for them. But the writing for this side couple was so much worse!

Jaab and Jane from Step By Step

I was so pissed with their ending! What was that? There was no real conclusion and I still don't know if they are happy together now. They had this huge cheating plot (and I like those tropes, but only with a good solution in the end) and before they could work on that Jane was never seen again. This was so sturpid, I was so angry. I wanted them to have their own stupid happily ever after, but no, we have some creepy stalker like behavior and some mystery... no thank you, but besides that I liked them so much and I wanted so much more of them!

It takes a long time for him to be in love, as well as admitting it.

But not to realize it.

Reiji doesn’t love easily, he’s a perfectionist.

But it doesn’t mean he cannot love.

He’d realize this after a long time, possibly years.

This is not because he’s dumb but because the relationship moves slow and he doesn’t believe in loving someone so quick.

So you earned this.

Anyways he realized this when being put in a situation where you were are hurt or put at stake because of his father.

Something like that would definitely touch him.

If you were going to get hurt, he just won’t stand for it.

To see you in such grief and worry, with your tearful eyes and shattered voice that would tear him into pieces and want to walk away from the scene but also hold you.

Even if you had been in an argument about something important that would allow him to notice how much it affects you, and that would take a toll on him.

Another thing that would test him is if his mother claimed that the girl he loves isn't worthy enough to be with her son.

This would cause Reiji to be angry with himself for not pleasing his mother but, most of all, putting his lover through this.

He’d be at war with himself, mostly because “Why did it matter to so much?”

To confirm his feelings, he sees this when he is happy with you. No matter what but as long as he is spending time with you it makes him feel at peace.

He's able to not think about his past, his family, or/and any discretions he has with others when he is around you---that right there is Reiji Sakamaki in love.

If you can make this man have a smile run across his face, then he loves you madly, and truly.

Before he figures to tell you he comes to terms with himself about how he should tell you this.

If you were his bride, he would deny his feelings in the beginning and try to alter his approaches in behavior believing he was only confusing himself with attachment and value, seeing that she may have just been obedient compared to the others. And that what he's feeling is not love but a value and respect for someone.

He is in denial for a little while and once he's figured it out he tries to deal with it on his own.

However, if he senses that you may have feelings or can no longer keep it to himself he will eventually confess to you.

Reiji generally does not believe in love, so if you can make him go back on his words he will be mesmerized.

Obviously, if you’re on good terms he will admit this to you in a timely fashion but more or so, he’d show it to you.

He’d confess to you at a ball where you were enjoying yourself by dancing. He smiled seeing you content, but tried to not give him self away when you caught his eye a couple times. Later, he’d pull you aside for a chat to tell you something alone in the dark in the courtyard of the castle.

"You have something to tell me, Reiji?" You'd ask, confused by why he wanted to speak with you.

The two of you mere inches away as he kissed you passionately before pulling away, “I cherish you so very deeply, my dear. I can't imagine unloving you.” He'd whisper, his hand caressing your cheek.

Ruki

Unlike Reiji, he was quick to realize that he cared about you deeply.

However, Ruki is stubborn, so he took forever to move forward with it.

He'd especially take long if this was a bride because this wasn't part of the plan to fall in love with her.

He'll act differently in the sense that he will distance himself and act colder to you because he doesn't want to be influenced by his feelings.

You are a weakness, and he is trying to change that about himself,

While at the same time your ignorance about his behavior only made things worse as figured he was upset at you which made you upset so you ignored him.

And then when this happened he was like great.

The more he spent apart he found himself wanting something which happened to be your presence. He wanted you to be there.

Yes, physically, you were with him most of the time but Ruki wanted you to not just be there but, with him.

He thought about this for a couple months before deciding to tell you.

Ruki realized he loved you when he always found himself saving you from any possible threat/danger that occurred with you around.

He found himself always at your side, protecting you unintentionally. At first, it was for sheer convenience.

But with all time you spent being at the Mukami manor with him and dealing with his stoic behavior and all your arguments. He came to learn so much about you, so much that he could love, so much no one else knew. It felt special to know so much about a girl who was a mystery to everyone else.

Ruki realized that both them weren't so different after all.

And no matter what he thought of you whether it was at school, on his own time, when reading books, etc. You never seemed to leave his mind, it began to be a problem for him.

He could never not protect you, he found him self stepping in.

He claimed it was because you would cause trouble.

Overall, he came to the point where he gave up on keeping secrets.

He'd confess mostly through action rather than words.

Ruki would be much more intimate and whisper to you that you mean so much to him.

"

However, he may also admit this firmly if the moment is crucial and you have angered him or you are in some situation to which you have fueled him to give into what he wants, so he just gives up and confesses to you in an aggressive makeout session along with blood being drawn.

"I can't stand this anymore." He'd say being fed up with his feelings and giving in to them.

“Shit,” Lando curses when realizing his wrist feels empty. Jon asked him to take notes of his pulse before, during, and after training and he forgot the most important thing. “Wait, I need to get my watch!”

“Here’s mine, mate” George lifts his hand so his watch is in front of Lando, “You can use it.”

“No, that’s…” Lando says, biting on his tongue because he got himself into a situation he isn’t sure can get out of without George laughing at him. He tries to think about a solution but then quickly realizes he fucked up and there’s no way out,t so he finishes the sentence. “...That’s not smart. Not a smart watch I mean. To monitor my pulse.”

“But… You can still use it for that,” George says, brows furrowed, and yes, he’s right and Lando knows it, but… “You know, press your finger on the artery and count while watching the clock. Eas—”

“I can never find my own pulse,” Lando blurts out and then waits for George to make fun of him for not being able to do such a basic thing. 

But… It doesn’t happen. Instead, George takes his left hand.

“Wha—”

“I’m gonna show you where to find your pulse,” he says, “It’s actually quite easy if you know where to look for it.” George turns Lando's hand over to see his palm and wrist and supports it from below with his left hand. “So, the first thing you need to know is that the pulse point in your wrist is on the outer side,” he touches Lando’s forearm on that side to help visually, too. “The artery you’ll feel there is called radial artery, it’s the artery that supplies your hand with blood” George explains, looking at Lando to see if he’s actually paying attention. When Lando looks at him at the same time, George’s smile turns into soft laughter.

“I’m paying attention,” Lando exclaims, “Don’t laugh!”

“Right,” George chuckles, “So, what was the name of the artery again?”

“Radial,” Lando replies, receiving a surprised head tilt from George.

“Blimey, you’re actually paying attention!”

“What a surprise!” Lando rolls his eyes, “But I won’t for long if you don’t finish the lesson soon, Dr. Russell.”

“Oh, so now we’re onto role play, Mr. Norris?” George plays along for a moment but then turns his attention back to Lando’s wrist. “Before we turn this into something else, let’s get back to your pulse. What we already know is that the point we’re looking for is on the outer side of the wrist and it’s the radial artery that runs there. The pulse point is located at the base of your palm and the easiest way to find it is to draw a line from the side of your thumb.” 

George puts his pointer and middle finger on Lando’s thumb and slowly draws an imaginary line all the way down to his wrist, the gentleness he does it with makes Lando’s heart flutter. There’s something in George’s touch that always does this. Lando hopes George doesn’t see the redness that’s probably on his face.

“It’s right here,” George announces, stopping at a certain point, and lightly pressing his fingers to the skin. Lando has to take a deep breath because he knows he’ll be in big trouble if he doesn’t tell his body to behave. 

“Sometimes people can’t find it because they press too hard and it stops the blood flow. You have to be gentle and pay attention to the soft ‘tap tap’ feeling against your fingertip.” When George finishes the explanation he lets go of Lando’s hand. Lando lets out a sigh of relief, happy that the lesson is over and they can go and train finally, but then George drops the nightmare bomb.

“Now try and find it, and then I’m gonna hold up the watch for you to count,” he says, waiting expectantly. Lando takes a deep breath and nods. Alright. He can do it and then they can finally move on.

He turns his hand upwards and draws the imaginary line with his fingers just like George did, hoping that he’ll actually find the pulse point. When he reaches the base of his palm, he glances at George, hoping for some encouragement.

“Yes, just like that,” George nods, smiling, and puts his right hand on Lando’s back, not knowing about the effect his touch has on Lando’s heart. “It’ll be there, a little bit lower. Press your fingers there and see if you can feel it. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to find it.”

In the next moment, Lando’s face lights up when the ‘tap taps’ George mentioned appear beneath his fingertips. They’re there. He can feel his own pulse. He can’t believe it.

“Now that you’ve found it,” George’s voice brings him back from the heights of this experience, “It’s time to count. You can count for a minute, for half a minute, or even for a quarter of a minute, you just have to multiply if you count for less than a minute. I think you should first try counting for a minute.”

“Alright, I’ll try,” Lando nods and looks at George’s watch and then starts counting the little tap taps beneath his fingers. After a while he realizes that it’s not as difficult as he thought, he was probably just looking for the pulse point in the wrong place or pressing too hard in the past before giving up and buying a smartwatch. But… If he’s honest it’s quite comforting – feeling his pulse. He just wishes it wasn’t so fast, but he can’t control it when George is there.

When the time is up, George lowers his hand and looks at Lando, studying his face.

“Be honest,” he tells him, a smile growing on his face after seeing Lando trying to mask his real reaction. “It’s fast, right?

“That’s none of your business, Russell.”

“Oooh, then it’s even faster than it was when I felt for it,” George grins, “Is it like that because of m—”

“I know what you’re thinking, George Russell,” Lando says, smirking, “I know you way too well…”

"I'm ready to marry the man of my life, Mom. Wish me luck," you say softly, and your mother stands on her tiptoes to kiss your forehead. She whispers "good luck" to you, and you both head towards the wedding venue.

As your feet touch the church floor, you feel your legs trembling. Your eyes well up with tears as if you're ready to cry. Your mother holds your arm firmly, guiding you towards your groom. And there he is, your beloved Pedro Pascal. He looks stunning in an expensive-looking suit and has a huge smile on his face. Everyone you both know is in the church, witnessing your wedding. When your mother hands you over to Pedro, your hand almost slips from his, but he holds you firmly. The priest begins the ceremony, but all your attention is on Pedro, and it seems like all his attention is on you.

"I have to say, you look stunning. I think I hit the jackpot…" you say, leaning slightly closer to Pedro Pascal. He lets out a muffled laugh, prompting the priest to give you both a stern "shhh." A few seconds later, the priest

asks you to say your vows. You're almost certain that Pedro memorized his like a script and threw it away because you searched the whole house and couldn't find it anywhere.

“Well, what can I say about Y/N. When we first met, I felt like you were going to change my life. And I was right. Until we started dating, I thought it was impossible to find someone who would complete me this much. But you feel like another part of me. And you make me crazier, more in love, and happier,” Pedro says while holding both your hands, gently stroking them. You start to cry as you listen to him declare his love.

"The craziest thing about all this is that our love story often seemed more invented than real. Until one day, when you and I were playing the great lovers for the world; I realized that seeing you was the best part of my day. That filming a romantic scene made me miss you, and every love song seemed silly because none of them were about you." When Pedro says this, almost everyone in the church lets out a loud "ahhhhh." You feel so proud of the man you're about to marry. He really knows how to love you.

"I loved Mr. Pascal even before I met him. I loved him for his work, his commitment to being an excellent actor, and for appearing to be an even better human being. But he surprised me. He raised my expectations of what a perfect man could be with the way he treated me, always being the most kind and gentlemanly. But don't get me wrong. He was a challenge too. Getting him to open up to this relationship was a beautiful battle to fight." You say, looking deeply into his teary eyes. He gives you a sweet smile.

"But when we both stopped fighting what we were feeling and let ourselves be carried away by the emotions growing inside us, I knew I would love him forever. And I didn't even imagine marrying him back then. I just knew that the love we were creating was something unique and eternal. And that's how I want it to be. I want this marriage to last until we're old and gray. And I can't wait to see what our destiny will be like." You barely wait for the priest to declare you husband and wife. Your lips meet like two magnets, and you throw yourself into Pedro's arms, feeling him hold your waist with great affection. And that was the beginning of your happily ever after.

Show notes from my double show day on 8th august 2024. 2nd show was largely very similar so any extra notes i took on that show are added onto the emds of the relevant scenes. Enjoy!!!

1) Stew snapping the book shut in the prologue real sharp will always make me giggle

2) fun little stolen time pause before stew delivers "do not forget me", makes it short and snappy (SHOW 2: stew threw the yellow slip so jvj would have to go collect it.)

3) valvert stare-down before javert's exit. Okay

4)  at this point i wrote "can't find harry. Worried" because i was scanning the ensemble for harry lake and he WASNT THERE mad as hell

5) verry good low note on "dirt beaneath" in the prologue .. milan❤ (SHOW 2: in that little bit when he steals the coin from the child they messed that the hell up girl you caught jackshit)

6) understudy bishop! Every other time ive been it was Adam Pearce . I think i prefer him but the u/s had a really nice rich voicr which i fw , not quite as deep as adam but i liked him. He was a lot more stern & firm as bishop, with bits like "remember this"  and "passion" being quite harsh.

7) valjean wincing when the bishop helps him stand (SHOW 2: when talking to the policeman after the robbery, valjean shakes his head at the bishop who then nods back at him. Heartbreakinf ohmy gyat)

8) "my life was a war" line being half-spoken, in a very distressed manner... quite liked that. Also he sobbed a bit after "allow this man" which got me in the feels.. let valjean cry 2024 (SHOW 2: harsh on "hate" in I had come to hate the world)

9) higher note on  "god above" which scratched the brain

10) jesus christ milan can hold a note . The whole "eye for an eye" crescendo drives me batty and milan does not disappoint

11) swallowed before "he told me that i have a soul" not sure if that was intentional like at all but considering his nervous delivery on future lines like "ill escape now" i thought it fitting

12) ENSEMBLE TIME🗣 tom is so hard NOT to spot, ginger ass hair. And also during At The End Of The Day he was hunched and staggering dramatically which made me giggle. Also bonnie langford spotted leftmost factory woman. Not important but i saw her. Also jordan was one of the workers and he cheers on the fight between fantine and the other woman but as soon as he sees valjean comes down the stairs he hurriedly goes back to looking busy writing at the desk. Again i giggled .

13) idk if its just me being stupid but katie's wig lookee different to how i remember it last time did she get a new one. ⁉️⁉️

14) "when i was young and unafraid" almost spoken.  Ate🗣

15) THE BRASS ON THE  I DREAMED A DREAM CRESCENDO UUUUGGGHHHHHHHHHH I ALWAUS GET GOOSEBUMPS ON "SHAME" UEGGGGHHH  goosebumps also on "i had a dream life would be"  katie's voice ao good ans clear ill go nuts

16)  i think jordan was the first  dude in lovely ladies  and he also got his arse  tapped by one of them so that was fun . It was harry lake last time but he really got his arse slapped like he stumbled offstage and everything

16) the woman with the hat in lovely ladies i forgot her actress' name but i LOVED her voice . I gotta know if she understudies anyone cause wowzer.

17) bambatabois was pissed as hell he was screaming his head off like a toddler

18) here i wrote "JORDAN POLICEMAN ON DA STAIRS🔥🔥🔥" handwrote the fire emojis and everything. He was playing one of the policemen and he climbed the stairs. I liked that

19) little fantine sob after javert says "i have heard such protestations" which BROKE my heart ohmy gah. Also katie always  eats the crescendo on "you let your foreman send me away"  that whole bit drives me crazy the music and strings bruh ohmy

20) javert's "monsieur le maire"  very curt and sharp almost a hiss which i dont think ive delivered like that before ? Looove snappy javert

21) like when i saw stew & milan on the 14th they have homo moment at the cart when javert holds valjeans bicep for far too long and his voice even goes up higher on "a memory stirs" as he stares into his eyes for Way too long

22) low note on "comes to court" which scratched the brain

23) valjean snatching his coat from javert LMFOAOAOO

24) his whole mini-monologue was so funny cause he was REALLY pronouncing his "k"s so it was just like  traCK🗣ed him down through thICK🗣 and thin. And to maK🗣e the matter certain theres the brand upon his sK🗣in. He will bend. He will breaK🗣 this time there is no mistaK🗣e

25) slight pauses between the last "i am damned" in who am i like  I. Am. Damned

26) i feel like milan is a lot more determined and deliberate and sure of himself as compared to chris' much softer and "mature"? valjean. Which i find interesting

27) katie somehow so good at singing even when "frail"  helloooooooo shes actually cracked  Get out

28) valjean so soft with fantine though  godbless she makes my heart ache. He had her face against her cheek which i thought sweet

30) Valjean scoffing before "men like you can never change" made me giggle hes so sick of his shit

I have a slur to say (SHOW 2: as javert was knelt down in front of valjean (🧐), when he pulled back his fist to fight back it looked like he was about to punch valjean in the balls but luckily valjean knocked him oit before he could do this)

32) BONNIE LANGFORD🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣 shes really witchy as mme thenardier kind of obsessed. I like her a lot . Her naturally high pitched voice creates a very interestinf tone when singing as mme thenardier which i LOOOOVE

33) when cosette asks her not to be sent out alone she kind of like steps back almost like shes afraid of cosette . Dont know whether this was fear or her being taken aback that cosette would reply but still made me laugh

34) JOOOOORDDAAAAAANN🗣🗣🗣 FUCK YALL KNOW ABOUT THE DUDE IN THE RED JACKET , hes the one who shouts  "over here landlord" or some shir and "this place has gone to hell" before the song properly starts. The WHOLE song he was such a delight to watch, hes so camp and did the gayest of walks and dances and whatever the fuck , ohmy god he was so funny . If anyone goes to see the show soon and jordans ensemble please watch our for him in master of the house, tall bloke in the hat and red jacket. You cant miss him hes camp as hell. Im obsessed with him deeply and i wish i couldve watched master of the house on repeat PURELY so i could see the bloke in the red jacket. (SHOW 2: he did a kind of silly gay walk in which he did the wallace (like from wallace and gromit) hands) Here are some doodles i did of him:

35) tom was on as thenardier BTW (ginger thenardier gang) i like the way he shakes his epaulettes on "content to be". I loved tom & bonnie's rapport as the thenardiers too, so good . Tomardier on top . They were dancing together and shit during the  chorus they were fun. Apparently thenardier put mme thenardier in a headlock at some point as well which is funny

36) bonnie did a little r roll on "regular voltaire". Not impoerant at all but i liked it. Also did a low note on "master and a half" which i also liked

37) kept the bit where mme thenardier says "where the fu" before realising valjean is there . And the bit where she sprays perfume up her skirt. Always a good gag (cause like i get it)

38) bonnie's pretending to be worriwd abt cosette was so good . Her comedy acting genuinely endearing and im hype

39) tom, like last time i saw him, goes really high pitched on "like our own, monsieur" which is SO funny god i love tomardier

40) on "treacherous people about" they kind of advance on valjean but then immediately cower away when he stands up to challenge them LMFAOAO

41) marius appears. Jac yarrow has a  GREAT voice , but Is he better than harry lake ? 🤫 maybe im just biased . Harrius sweep

42) jordan as claquesous (which is the only character of his that gets a name) is so funny . Hes swinging around his little corner of the set a lot . Swinging from the beams and shit. I do not  blame him id do the same

43) Ok first of all yaz eponine was AMAZING  her "ITS JAVERT!" is so chilling. Shes awesome godbless WHAT  a voice. Javert also keeping it curt and snappy and hissing "square"  in Another brawl in the square. Hilarious

44) i love the way tomardier tries to escape being held by the policemen on "HE'S ---! THE ONE YOU SHOULD  ARREST!" it always makes me laugh. Also voice crack on "chest" in Brand upon his chest. The way he and bonnie strut offstage after being freed is SO funny

45) OK TIME FOR THE STARS INFLECTION NOTES.  Sharp & curt on "there" which i dont usually hear. Soft on "fugitive". Pronounced "god" like  god-uh which was funny. Soft on "yield". Slight stolen time hold on "mine" ("is the way of the lord" as a result came out sharper). Soft on "scarce" rather than the usual hiss i hear. Dribbling a bit . Growled on "returns". VERY clear note on "bars". Sounded a bit like he struggled with "then" on Until then, but delivered as usual on the final Stars. Hoo boy go stew (2ND SHOW: only one i got was "exasperated "Always"" on  And is always the same. I cannot remember what i meant by this but usually my inflection notes are somewhat accurate so let ur imaginaton run wild)

46) for some reason i noted how gavroche had really long eyelashes. I have no idea if i was just seeing things or what but yeah

47) jac has really solid vibrato honestly . His voice is GREAT . I will refrain from comparing him to harry cause i think we all know how much i like him already . But i have things to say .

48) JORDAN UNNAMED STUDENT NO1 WITH THE GLASSES 😭😭😭😭😭😭 half moon glasses he ate that. Cafe scene started off with him arguing with enjolras which i thought funny. He seemed really prim and bitchy with i loooved, dont ask me what anyone else was doing for this scene cause my eyes did not leave him

49) grantaire shouting *YOU* talk of battles to be  won  while pointinf at enjolras made me giggle

50) jordan scoffing off to the side @ grantaire  as he starts playing catch with his bottle. Im obsessed with him. Maybe id be a les amis fan if he was there. Also he's the one who chimes in "OUR WORLD !🗣" so whatever

51) grantaire spinning around across the stage on "red" during marius' verse

52) jordan did NOT need to stand on that  chair at the red & black crescendo girl you are tall Enough

55) Lulu may not have my favourite voice ever but she is cute as  cosette i cannot  lie she does little toe bounces every now and then i like that .

58) yaz has SUCH  powerful voice it was always so shocking everytime she sang GET HER ON PRINCIPAL NEEOOOWWW!!!!!!

59) marius did a little awkward ass wave to cosette after she comes out on the balcony to see her, like he just lifts his hand up a little, DIDNT EVEN SMILE? just ✋😦 looking slightly startled. So good. He also did a deep ass bow to her when she comes down which made me giggle

60) so jordan had like, a stick  as a weapon as claquesous in the attack on rue plumet and as he runs onstage he kinda fumbled with it. Whether this was intentional or not i dont know but regardless yes i laughed. (2ND SHOW: thenardier tries to get up onto the balcony twice, instead of the usual once. The first time, claquesous gets down on hands and knees like a stool. Thenardier steps on him and claquesous immediately collapses under the weight.)

61) i dont seem to remember this happening in other shows  does thenardier always hit eponine after "you'll scream alright"? Or am i insane. Because he did this show (2ND SHOW: marius blows a kiss through the fence to cosette before he runs off.)

62) YAZ DURING ONE DAY MORE BEUHHHH ohmy days.... so sosososoop good so strong... djavan also as usual strong, the way his voice always rips through the theatre is just amazing godbless (2ND SHOW: bonnie sticking her leg up in the air as she's carted off.)

63) JAVERT IN UNIFORM.......... WHERE THE FUCK IS BAKER BOY.......

ACT 2

64) Grantaire was kinda creeping up behind enjolras for whatever reason at some point. Was funny as hell

65) MILAN  LIKE PAUSES AND PULLS A FACE WHEN HES READING THE LETTER FROM MARIUS TO COSETTE BEFORE HE READS THE WORD "LOVE" WHICH REALLY MADE THE THEATRE GIGGLE 

66) Yaz was so delightfully gentle as Eponine i liked it . Made her powerful voice a lot more standout for me . As for on my own inflection: short on "silver" in Shines like silver. The string pickup as it builds up to the crescendo on "and i know its only in my mind" is always insane ohhumy gyat. Harsh on "the trees" in the trees are bare and everywhere. Harsh and almost spoken on the final "without me". The last crescendo was utterly gorgeous . Yaz eat yuor heart out❤

67) on jod theres usually fog for the barricade reveal. No fog this show. Disappointing..  i love fog

68) army general's bit .. as usual harsh on "you" which i like but i think he skipped a beat . Didmt note where but i remember there being a missed beat and it was a bit fast (2ND SHOW: this might have been for the 2nd attack but regardless, when theyre shouted to get down, jordan's student who was way downstage (audience) left he almost fell over when he went to kneel down . Very clumsy job there boss. Obsessed)

69) stew's baker boy matches jordan's now... last time i saw stew he was in brown. Hes in the green/red now ‼️⁉️

70) yaz's eponine seemed content to submit herseld and die in marius' arms which was so heartbreaking . The key up. Also voice break on "her name was" which made me want to punch a wall

72) i think milan was struggling to get off the barricade he almost stumbled and had to be helped down ajdhdifhd

73) javert just kinda admitting defeat and slumping to his knees with a haunted look in his eyes ❤ getting his lapels grabbed until "youre free" will always fuck hard as well. Theway hes grabbing onto valjeans wrists though I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE (2ND SHOW: during drink with me milan and jordan were off to the side next to each other chatting away. Jvj starts to chug whatevers in his cup. Jordan goes to take the cup from him but jvj turns away so that he cant take it. Jvj alcoholism era. Additionally jvj puts his arm around jordan's character just before the final battle.... ouff... Here are some sketches i did of them:)

73) milan's vocal range is sooogood. His whole Bring Him Home just scrumptious. Plus the crescendo on the strings UGGHHHHHHH. It SOUNDED like he struggled a tad on that final "him" but Home came out GREAT ... godbless

74) final attack. I noticed jordan's student wedged away in the crevice to the (audience) left and everytime hed fire his gun hed turn away and scrunch his face up. Obsessed. I did NOT see where he died though. This tells me he did not actually die and hes alive and well❤

75) javert kissing the cross over gavroche 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔 (i THINK valjean does this too earlier? Possibly he did this in the 2nd show)

76) tomardier holding the dead body's jaw and making it say "breath away from hell" in a stupid voice". He also did a silly posh voice on "thankyou sir im in your debt". "And god in his heaven" almost spoken i think. I alsofind it funny how he kicked over marius' body and stepped up on his arse

77) Javert seemed to almost miss & run past valjean ans marius LMFAAOOO i had a little giggle.

80) Soliloquy inflections.  "Who is this man/what sort of devil is he" GROWLED rather thsn the usual scream he does . Liked it i cant lie. He was quite shaky especially on "caught in a trap" which was LAAAVELY...... spat "back" in Gave me back my life . Harsh  on "mocked" which is always delightful to hear, a classic . Absolutely delectable tone shift  and becoming quite weak and almost croaky for "how can i now allow this man". He was even hoarse for "gave me freedom", and weak on "die as well". As per the Stewart Clarke Special there was a tremendous glob of spit escaping him on "sins"  in Shall his sins be forgiven . Absolutely delightful voice crack on "begin to doubt". Another glob of spit in "lost in shadow".  SUPER shaky "i am reaching". Yet another glob of spit on "stars are black". Low note on "escape now". And, as per, hit that shit (2ND SHOW: voice crack on "he" in "devil is he". Whimpered "gave me my life". Snarled "it was his right". Another glob of spit on "sins" like the first show. Whimpered "and must i now". Another glob of spit for "escape now".)

81) anyway , empty chairs time. Quite short on "on and on". Lovely and rich delivery of "never came" (thats a hard note to hit comfortably!).. again jac's vibrato was very notable to me !!!!! He delivered "phantom shadows" very upset like a half-sob. The following "empty chairs" very harsh. SHOUTED "don't ask me".

82) i liked his distant & haunted stare during every day ughhh mawius...

84) i really liked milan's acting during the confession - i personally preferred chris' performance but both absolutely stellar. His expressions were wonderfully desperate

86) if you didnt know already, bonnie langford does the splits when she curtsies when she appears. She also seems more interested in the drinks djavan servant has to offer than the plan to scam marius . She keeps trying to set thenardier right and then tiptoes off to take a swig of wine. Giggled

87) when marius tells them to go away thenardier turns around and says "for god's sake" LMFOAOAOAO

88) after thenadier is punched by marius (does his classic 270° spin) he falls over and gets stuck on his back, flailing around like a tortoise while mme thenardier cackles like a witch

90) milan during the epilogue always heartbreaking he is wonderfully frail. Absolutely lovely  gentle low notes . He was almost sobbing on "on this page" which made me want to start killing. Sniffed before "its a story". Very shaky voice on "to my keeping". ... suicide tomorroeeeeee

Hello! I really like your blog because it has helped me give more shape to my stories, however, it is too difficult for me to make fight scenes: from the movements to describing it so that readers know what action the character is doing.

So do you have any advice for this disgraced soul on how to write an action and/or fight scene?

Hi, thanks for asking! I do have a couple posts about fight scenes and how to make them realistic, but here are a few more tips you might find helpful:

Purpose:

Before you start writing it, make sure the inclusion of the fight scene serves a purpose in the narrative, advancing the plot or showing character traits or tensions, rather than adding it for the sake of excitement or change of pace. Use it to showcase the strengths, weaknesses, motivations, and growth of the characters involved.

Setting:

It's important to visualise where the scene is taking place before starting to write it and be clear about it in your narrative, as it can help avoid confusion and be used by the characters to their advantage—think of relevant props or objects there may be in the area that could help them defend themselves or attack the other.

Characters:

Taking the character's skills, weapons, motivations, and former experience is crucial to ensure the fight aligns with or emphasises them, and that their fighting abilities match their background and training, if they had any. Describe their thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations throughout the course of the fight.

Describe actions:

When describing the characters' movements and actions, replace any terse verb with description. For instance, in a fight between characters A and B, rather than "A punched B", dissect the action and describe it and its effect: "A's fist connected with B's jaw, sending them stumbling back."

Describe sensations:

The incorporation of sounds, sights, and feelings can elevate the scene and immerse the reader more. Describe the clash of steel on steel, the racing heart, muscles burning with fatigue, the sight of blood gushing. Limiting it to who did what will likely make the scene fall flat.

Hirakawa: In this movie you will meet a new side of Rita never before seen. Filming the movie is a fresh experience for me from start to finish.

Kaku: We will touch on Kaguragi's past in the movie. It will be very important for him in the future.

Ikeda: The coronation scene we shot with a crowd of extras. It is our biggest and grandest scene yet.

The guest cast including Ms. Sakura Ayane as Debonica is impressive too.

Ikeda: Ms. Sakura has a distinctive method of vocalization. When the two of us talked in private and she said "Royal Arms", I was stunned.

Is Ms. Sakura's "Royal Arms" cool?

Ikeda: It's very powerful, very cool indeed.

Kaku: As a king, you have to be cool.

Hirakawa: I didn’t get to meet all of the guest cast in person, but Mr. Nakamura Shido (Rainoir) has a solemn and powerful presence just from being. He brought on set a positive tension that alerted everybody "the movie is about to start!".

In the movie, Gira finally becomes King of Shugoddom. Has the star behind Gira, Mr. Sakai Taisei changed in any way?

Kaku: He's getting less nervous in public appearances. He'll still say "I'm so nervous!" even now, but he's getting better at relaxing into the role and just enjoy the show.

Hirakawa: The Taisei I saw is the one who's super nervous during filming.

Kaku: In the scene with Rainoir? 

Hirakawa: Yes! His lips turned purple (laughs). "It's method acting for the Land of Death!" he said, but I think he's just nervous. Recently, he seems to have accepted his role as the cute mascot.

Ikeda: Since I only joined the cast later as the sixth ranger, I haven’t seen his nervous era. But I see where you're coming from about him turning cute.

Hirakawa: When we used to call him cute, he'd say "There's no such thing!", now he just nods, "Um..."  (laughs)

Everyone: (laughs)

Ikeda: He might be somewhat happy to hear that.

Please tell us more about the main series as well. In Episode 16, Rita's past is revealed.

Hirakawa: I think through Episode 16, the audience can now feel Rita’s burden. Revisiting the past, we reaffirm Rita's resolve and sense of responsibility, as well as pushing forward in the mystery that is Fury of the Gods. This development will impact the TV series going forward.

How do you see the relationship between Rita and Morfonia?

In Episode 10, we saw a change in the relationship between each king and their aide. Rita also got somewhat closer emotionally with Morfonia. I believe the guard around Rita’s strained psyche has lowered a little. They won't have a heart-to-heart conversation just yet, but the distance between them has been shortening since. In real life, we are becoming closer friends as well, that will sure be a positive influence to our interaction in the story.

On the other hand, Kaguragi has a lot of mature bargaining that hide his true intentions with characters like Racules and his younger sister Suzume.

Kaku: It is fun to bargain with Racules. Yano-chan put his predictions of the future in his performance, I too kept that in mind and considered many aspects in my own. Suzume is both cute and a strategist, I find her duality interesting.

What if your character goes on a summer break?

Ikeda: Jeramie would sleep through it, wouldn't he? "What I thought was an afternoon nap, took a whole year. Happens to anybody." He did say that once... When he wakes up, it'd probably be winter. (laughs)

Everyone: (laughs)

Kaku: Kaguragi is a festival man. He'd for sure host a big summer festival in Toufu.

Hirakawa: Rita would just marathon "Together with Moffun", wouldn't they?

Kaku: Absolutely! Rita would rewatch every episode up to now.

Hirakawa: There are 4000 episodes, it'd be a miracle to finish it before the end of summer (laughs).

(laughs) Moffun is not slowing down with his merchandise release either.

Hirakawa: It's amazing, isn't it! Without a word you grew interested in its shape and voice. It's just that Rita's imitation is a little different though...

I think Rita's imitation of Moffun is adorable! At the end, please tell our readers the highlights of the movie.

Hirakawa: Surely it's being able to see a new side of Rita different from the one we know so far. Even the details in the background carries meaning, I would love for you to see it on the big screen, and two or three times if you can!

Kaku: The movie is presenting a whole new world, with imagery much grander than the ones in the TV series. The characters will face their pasts, and the audience can learn more about them as people. This is the part I find myself enjoying.

Ikeda: In a trip to the Land of Death, there is much to think about on each of the king's attitude and way of life. It adds another layer to the world of King-Ohger too. Please look forward to the movie.

2023年7月28日より公開中の映画『王様戦隊キングオージャー アドベンチャー・ヘブン』（映画『仮面ライダーギーツ 4人のエースと黒狐』と同時上映）。

シュゴッダムで始まろうとしていたギラの戴冠式。ヤンマ、ヒメノ、リタ、カグラギら各国の王が一堂に会し、新国王誕生の瞬間を迎えようとしたとき、“死の国=ハーカバーカ”の案内人・デボニカが現れ……。ジェラミーも加わり、ギラたち6人が未知の世界で大冒険を繰り広げます！　

アニメイトタイムズでは、シュゴッダム新国王の即位と映画公開を記念して、キャスト6人へのインタビューを2回にわたってお届け！　

本稿では、リタ・カニスカ／パピヨンオージャー役の平川結月さん、カグラギ・ディボウスキ／ハチオージャー役の佳久創さん、ジェラミー・ブラシエリ／スパイダークモノス役の池田匡志さんにお話を伺いました。

中村獅童さんから威厳と強さを感じた

――映画『王様戦隊キングオージャー アドベンチャー・ヘブン』がいよいよ7月28日から公開されます。

リタ・カニスカ／パピヨンオージャー役 平川結月さん（以下、平川）：今回のリタは今までにない新たな一面を見せるので、映画の撮影は最初から最後まで新鮮でした。

カグラギ・ディボウスキ／ハチオージャー役 佳久創さん（以下、佳久）：映画では、カグラギの過去に触れるシーンもあります。今後の彼にとっても重要な話になりそうです。

ジェラミー・ブラシエリ／スパイダークモノス役 池田匡志さん（以下、池田）：エキストラの方々と一緒に撮影した戴冠式は、これまで以上に華やかで壮大なシーンになりました。

――デボニカ役・佐倉綾音さんをはじめとしたゲストキャストの方々も非常に豪華です。

池田：佐倉さんは、声の響き方が全然違いました。2人でお話したとき「王鎧武装」を実際に言っていただいて痺れました。

――佐倉さんの「王鎧武装」は格好良い雰囲気なんですか？

池田：迫力がすごくて、とても格好良かったです。

佳久：王様たちはクールに決めるからね。

平川：私は直接お会いしていない方もいるのですが、ライニオール役の中村獅童さんからは、そこにいるだけで威厳と強さが感じられました。現場が引き締まり「映画が始まるぞ！」という良い意味での緊張感が生まれていたと思います。

――映画ではついにギラがシュゴッダムの王になります。撮影開始からギラを演じる酒井大成さんの変化や成長を感じることはありますか？

佳久：公の場で緊張しなくなってきていますね。本人は今でも「緊張する」と言っていますけど、徐々に楽しめる余裕が出てきたんじゃないでしょうか。

平川：私は映画の撮影でド緊張している大成を見ちゃったけど（笑）。

佳久：ライニオールとのシーン？　　

平川：そう！　唇が紫だった（笑）。「死の国だから役づくり！」と言っていたけど、普通に緊張していたと思います。彼は最近、可愛いキャラを受け入れてきているんですよ。

池田：僕は追加戦士で途中から参加したので緊張している時期を見たことがないんですけど、可愛くなったのはとてもわかります。

平川：以前は可愛いと言うと「そんなことないよ！」と言っていたけど、今は「うーん……」って（笑）。

一同：（笑）

池田：どこか嬉しそうだよね。

夏休み中のリタは「もっふんといっしょ」を一気見する!?

――TVシリーズについても聞かせてください。第16話「10才の裁判長」では、リタの過去が明かされました。

平川：リタが抱えているものを、観ている方にも感じていただける内容だったと思います。過去を通じてリタの覚悟や責任感を再確認しましたし、大きな謎である「神の怒り」についても進展があったので、今後のTVシリーズに影響していきそうだなと思います。

――リタと側近であるモルフォーニャの関係性についてはどう見ていますか？

平川：第10話「伝説の守護神」で、各国の王と側近の関係性が変化するシーンがありました。モルフォーニャとも心の距離が若干縮まり、リタが張っていた心のバリアが少し減ったんじゃないでしょうか。話し合ったわけではないのですが、自然に距離感が近づいていると思います。リアルでも仲が深まっているので、作中の掛け合いにも良い影響が出ているはずです。　　

―― 一方でカグラギは、ラクレスや妹のスズメと本音を隠した大人な駆け引きが多いですね。

佳久：ラクレスとのやり取りは楽しいです。矢野ちゃん（ラクレス・ハスティー役・矢野聖人さん）も今後の展開を予想しながら演じていて、僕もそれを受けて色々考えながら演じています。スズメは可愛らしさと策略家の顔があって、その二面性がとても面白いと思っています。

――TVシリーズの今後も非常に楽しみです！　ちなみに、もし自身が演じるキャラクターに夏休みがあったらどのように過ごしていると思いますか？

池田：ジェラミーは寝ているのではないでしょうか。「昼寝のつもりが1年経ってたなんて、ザラさ」と言っていたので……。多分起きる頃には、冬になっていると思います（笑）

一同：（笑）

佳久：カグラギはお祭り男だと思うので、トウフで盛大な祭りを開催しそうです。

平川：リタは「もっふんといっしょ」を一気見するのではないでしょうか。

佳久：確かに！　これまでの話をおさらいしてそうだね。

平川：4000話もあるから、夏休みで観終わるかは怪しいですが（笑）。

――（笑）。もっふんはアニメやグッズの展開も盛り上がっています。

平川：すごいですよね！　何とも言えないフォルムと声がお気に入りです。リタが真似しているのは少し違うのですが……。

――リタが真似するもっふんも可愛いと思います！　最後に公開を楽しみにしている読者に向けて、映画の見どころを教えてください。

平川：やはりこれまで見せていなかったリタの新たな側面を楽しみにしていただきたいです。背景の細かい部分まで意味が込められていて、大きなスクリーンで観たら、吸い込まれそうになるくらい物語に入り込めると思います。時間に余裕があれば、2回、3回と観てほしいです！

佳久：映画では全く新しい世界が登場して、TVシリーズ以上の壮大な映像が見られます。キャラクターが過去の因縁に向き合うシーンは、それぞれの深掘りにもなっているので、個人的にも観るのが楽しみです。

池田：死の国へ行くことで王様たちの在り方や生きる意味など、色々考えさせられることがあると思います。『王様戦隊キングオージャー』の世界をより一層楽しめるので、ぜひご覧ください！

I have a possible connection in favor of Gwynriel and I'd like to hear your thoughts!

In the bonus chapter of Azriel’s, we know Azriel was drawn and came to be at the library at exactly 7 o clock where Clotho was waiting at the desk.

What I find interesting is that Clotho is the name of one of the three big Fates, the one who specifically spun the threads of life. Azriel also got the necklace he ended up gifting Gwyn at a shop called The Palace of Thread and Jewels... coincidence? I think not....

Now, Sarah was raised Jewish. In Jewish/Hebrew (really almost any religion), the number 7 is the most important and symbolic number. It communicates a sense of "fullness and completeness".

The spiritual meaning of the number 7 is quite interesting to...

Notice how it says 'spiritual revelations and big shifts that can have a positive impact on your life'..... Wouldn't you say a mate bond beginning to glow between two people be considered a bit of a spiritual revelation and big shift in someone life that can cause a positive impact?

We all know the bonus scene ends with this

When Azriel is drawn there at 7 o clock, I believe it's because of the mate bond between Gwyn and Azriel. If they are indeed mates, they will complete each other as they are the other half to each other. To me, it's fate at work here.

I'm done yet though........ I want to go back to that spiritual meaning of 7 and the big shift that can have a positive impact on one's life. When do we touch on a shift being mentioned AFTER the bonus scene? In Chapter 60 at Gwyn ribbon cutting scene in which Sarah makes a point to note how Azriel went wholly still as if he too had felt the shift:
