I’m at a point now where my therapist feels comfortable from going to once a week sessions to once a month sessions.

My unmasking is going as it really should. (which means it sucks and it’s chaos and I’m dealing with a lot of skill regression and unmasking issues. But it’s a good thing to do and I’m proud of it.)

I’m creating stronger connections with my fiancée, with my family, with my friends.

I’m setting boundaries and facing down traumas and anger and pain and all the negative emotions that I used to push away. I’m facing them down and allowing myself to feel them.

I am nurturing the values of honesty, love, authenticity, directness, justice, and respect.

Series Masterlist

The sun barely filtered through the narrow windows of your quarters as the hours before the VIPs’ arrival drew closer. It was a strange, almost oppressive calm in the air, as though everything was waiting for the storm to hit. The excitement, the nerves—they buzzed just below the surface, threatening to bubble over at any moment.

As the clock ticked closer to the arrival of the VIPs, you began to get ready, slipping into a dress you had reserved for this moment. It was sleek and fitted, a deep shade of emerald green that brought out the natural warmth of your skin. The fabric shimmered faintly, catching the light as you moved, a quiet elegance that felt at odds with the world you were stepping into. The heels you chose were sharp, pointed, giving you a little more height, a little more presence as you prepared to walk into a room full of powerful, untouchable men.

When you finished dressing, you caught a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. Your reflection was almost foreign to you. The confident and powerful demeanor that you wore was ready, set aside for the moment, but the truth behind your eyes wasn’t hidden yet. There was a sadness there that even the most beautiful dress couldn’t conceal.

The door to the bedroom opened just then, and In-ho stepped in. He was dressed in his usual dark attire, the mask firmly in place. His presence filled the room, but there was something different today—an unspoken understanding between you both. Neither of you needed to say it aloud. You both would have to deal with stuck up rich guys.

“You’re ready,” he said, his voice softer than usual, but still carrying that familiar calmness.

You nodded, biting back a sigh. “I guess.”

There was a brief moment where he just looked at you, his eyes scanning you from head to toe. His gaze wasn’t cold this time. It was different—something that made your heart skip a beat. It was almost like… concern? You couldn’t be sure, but the heat in your cheeks made you wonder if you were imagining it.

Then, without a word, he reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out something. A mask. The same black one he always wore.

“This is for you,” he said, his voice quieter now, but still firm as he handed it to you.

Your fingers brushed against his as you took the mask, and for a moment, everything felt still. The mask was a reminder. A symbol. You weren’t you anymore. You were a piece of this twisted game.

You glanced at him, feeling the weight of the moment. “I’m ready.”

He didn’t respond immediately, but the look he gave you told you everything you needed to know. It wasn’t just about protecting your identity. It was about playing the game. And you both had already gotten too deep to turn back.

When you stepped into the grand hall, the atmosphere shifted immediately. The VIPs were already gathered, a mix of loud voices and expensive fabrics filling the room. The second you walked in, their eyes landed on you. It was like the room held its breath. The way they looked at you—like a rare piece of art they wanted to own, but could never touch—made your skin crawl.

You tried not to let it show. You couldn’t.

Your father was standing off to the side, his back straight, his expression as cold and distant as ever. He didn’t acknowledge you when you entered, didn’t even glance your way as you walked past him.

That sting—the ache that you couldn’t shake—came rushing back. You tried to hide it, bury it deep beneath the mask you wore. But it was hard. It hurt. More than you cared to admit.

In-ho must have noticed the change in your posture. His hand, warm and firm, landed on your shoulder for a brief moment. The touch was gentle, but it grounded you. Reminded you that, at least for now, you weren’t alone in this.

“You’re doing fine,” he whispered, his voice low, reassuring.

It didn’t fix the pain. Nothing could. But it was enough to keep you moving forward.

It wasn’t long before the VIPs began to circle. Their eyes stayed glued to you, their gazes hungry, eager to inspect, to dissect. They made comments—subtle at first, but the undertones were clear.

“You know, I’ve heard the Frontman is very protective of you,” one man said, his voice dripping with something darker. “But I bet he’s hiding something interesting behind that mask.”

Another VIP, younger, with a smug look on his face, stepped forward. “Maybe we should all get to know each other better,” he said, his eyes lingering on the ring on your finger. “If you’re interested, of course.”

The way they looked at you—it was like you were a puzzle they wanted to solve, something they couldn’t have, but would do anything to possess.

Your stomach twisted, but you forced a smile. You had to. It was part of the game. You had to play along, pretend you were just as interested in their hollow words as they were in your appearance.

Before any of them could step closer, In-ho was there. Like a shield. He placed a hand at the small of your back, guiding you toward the VIP room with quiet authority.

“We’ll be escorting you now,” he said, his tone final, and for a moment, the VIPs seemed to respect the unspoken boundary.

You walked beside him, the tension between you both palpable, but at least for now, you were free from their unwanted attention.

When the VIPs had settled into the room, you thought you might finally get a moment to breathe. But the truth was, there was no escape. Not from the eyes that followed you, not from the games you were forced to play.

And then, you saw him again. Your father.

His eyes flickered to you once more. That cold look. No warmth. No recognition. He just… looked right through you.

It hurt.

The Batman & Scooby-Doo! Mysteries Issue #4 by Sholly Fisch

Hi everyone,

This is issues center around gargoyles statues coming to life and running amok around town. But the main mystery is that people are turning in the gargoyles.

This is one of the first issues of this series we get to see Robin (Or at least that I have, as I am still tracking down #2), but we also get a classic character from the comics but this version of him is reminds me of the Animated Series: Detective Harvey Bullock.

Bullock is briefing both Batman and Robin and Mystery Inc. about the situation, and there is also a minor about the different types of gargoyles.

But then one of the officers slowly turned into a gargoyle and flies off and the group of heroes give chase.

Now I don’t know why people got so heated when they were looking for the gargoyles. After another person gets turned into a gargoyle, which now by this point, poor Shaggy and Scooby Doo try to run away from the gargoyle, but keeps running into shops that sell them, and statues outside of business.

Now after the group regroups and discusses what they have learned and hash out what they should do next. Batman tries to figure out the pattern of why these particular individuals were turned and even to the way the gargoyles look.

Also, in this issue we do get to see Oracle, even though we see more of the AI Avatar and the back of Babs.

The mystery group pinpoints the next possible location of a new target at a local theater.

This is where I will stop, since the next few pages will have the group umasking the culprit and then get into the fight that results that the culprit getting arrested. (Thank you handy dandy Bat-knock out gas).

This was a good issue, but I like the Catwoman issues a little more. Just for the fact there were more clues and hunting round for evidence. However, this issue introduced new characters Bullock and Oracle which I love. I want issues that Mystery Inc. teams up with Oracle.

Introduction

The IT field is vast, and Linux is an important player, especially in cloud computing. This blog is written under the guidance of industry experts to help all tech and non-tech background individuals secure interviews for roles in the IT domain related to Red Hat Linux.

File Permissions

Briefly explain how Linux file permissions work, and how you would change the permissions of a file using chmod. In Linux, each file and directory has three types of permissions: read (r), write (w), and execute (x) for three categories of users: owner, group, and others. Example: You will use chmod 744 filename, where the digits represent the permission in octal (7 = rwx, 4 = r–, etc.) to give full permission to the owner and read-only permission to groups and others.

What is the purpose of the umask command? How is it helpful to control default file permissions?umask sets the default permissions for newly created files and directories by subtracting from the full permissions (777 for directories and 666 for files). Example: If you set the umask to 022, new files will have permissions of 644 (rw-r–r–), and directories will have 755 (rwxr-xr-x).

User and Group Management:

Name the command that adds a new user in Linux and the command responsible for adding a user to a group. The Linux useradd command creates a new user, while the usermod command adds a user to a specific group. Example: Create a user called Jenny by sudo useradd jenny and add him to the developer’s group by sudo usermod—aG developers jenny, where the—aG option adds users to more groups without removing them from other groups. 

How do you view the groups that a user belongs to in Linux? 

The group command in Linux helps to identify the group a user belongs to and is followed by the username. Example: To check  user John’s group: groups john

Cron Jobs

What do you mean by cron jobs, and how is it scheduled to run a script every day at 2 AM? 

A cron job is defined in a crontab file. Cron is a Linux utility to schedule tasks to run automatically at specified times. Example: To schedule a script ( /home/user/backup.sh ) to run daily at 2 AM: 0 2 * * * /home/user/backup.sh Where 0 means the minimum hour is 2, every day, every month, every day of the week.

How would you prevent cron job emails from being sent every time the job runs? 

By default, cron sends an email with the output of the job. You can prevent this by redirecting the output to /dev/null. Example: To run a script daily at 2 AM and discard its output: 0 2 * * * /home/user/backup.sh > /dev/null 2>&1   

System Performance Monitoring

How can you monitor system performance in Linux? Name some tools with their uses. 

Some of the tools to monitor the performance are: Top: Live view of system processes and usage of resource htop: More user-friendly when compared to the top with an interactive interface. vmstat: Displays information about processes, memory, paging, block IO, and                CPU usage. iostat: Showcases Central Processing Unit (CPU) and I/O statistics for devices and partitions. Example: You can use the top command ( top ) to identify processes consuming too much CPU or memory.

In Linux, how would you check the usage of disk space?

The df command checks disk space usage, and Du is responsible for checking the size of the directory/file. Example: To check overall disk space usage:  df -h The -h option depicts the size in a human-readable format like GB, MB, etc.

Package Management (Red Hat)

How do you install, update, or remove packages in Red Hat-based Linux distributions by yum command?

In Red Hat and CentOS systems, the yum package manager is used to install, update, or remove software. Install a package:  sudo yum install httpd This installs the Apache web server.  Update a package: sudo yum update httpd Remove a package:sudo yum remove httpd 

By which command will you check the installation of a package on a Red Hat system?

The yum list installed command is required to check whether the package is installed. Example: To check if httpd (Apache) is installed:  yum list installed httpd

regarding your last post, who do you think is more likely to get merch next?

Made a handy lil chart! Everyone in the first row has received a 4" and 2.5" figure from Jakks Pacific, the company who currently holds the master license. Yes, Fang was recently announced to be receiving a 4" figure!

Wave 18 recently showed off the new Amy 4" figure and Wave 19 is all classic era figurines so the last hidden figure is most likely Trip to coincide with 2.5's Wave 19 (all classics) and Wave 20 (the wave Trip will be in). Besides, look at that lineup, who else could it be? Tails? Fuck off, we haven't seen him since the heroes 3-pack earlier this year, atp he's bound to be stuck there forever /j (Yes, Tails has not had a solo-release, even after 8 months)

Anywho, continuing on, Heavy Gunner and King only received 4" figurines, and I really don't see them releasing for 2.5"... (well. I said the same for Eggrobo but. lo and behold.)

Now the Good Stuff.

Tier 4

Filled with characters who appeared in Sonic Mania, these are the characters that imo are the most likely to receive a figurine next. We've already seen Heavy King and Heavy Gunner so for Heavy Rider, Heavy Ninja and Heavy Mystic, it's more of a "It's bound to happen later on."

For Bean and Bark, it's a little... less secure. Imo, Fang getting a figurine is more emblematic of his status as an antagonist in Sonic Superstars, Trip getting her figurine so close to Fang supports that. So it's not necessarily a guarantee that just cause Fang got his figurine, that Bean and Bark will too. There's also the fact that, for Fang and Trip, they got figurines cause they had 3D models to base off of from Superstars. For the other Heavies, they can use a modified sculpt of Heavy Gunner. But they would have to make whole new sculpts and molds for Bean and Bark.

For Silver Sonic, he's a wild card. Jakks Pacific tends to throw in a few curve balls here and there as to who gets a figurine (cough cough, badniks and animal friends) and Mecha Sonic is/was a character they were... really pushing. fsr. Silver Sonic gets that random card so I can't write him off.

Tier 5

Characters who appeared in Sonic Superstars. Normally they would be the higher tier since they're the more recent game, but out of all of them I think only one has a good chance of making a figurine debut any time soon.

Metal Knuckles recently got a Funko Pop!, he's from the original Sonic R line and he's a really cool design. Don't be surprised if we see him in the next few waves. Tails Doll on the other hand, got demoted to a cameo appearance in Superstars. We also have to talk about his design (noodle limbs and antenna) that make him more susceptible to breaking as a toy compared to the metals more chunkier builds. That's the sole reason why I think he has a less chance of making it as a figurine.

Metal Tails and Metal Amy are in that weird limbo of being metal versions of established characters, and their designs are really well thought out, but they neither have the legacy (like metal knuckles and tails doll) nor the gravitas to become figurines. Don't get me wrong, they're perfect for making toys, it's just that I don't think they would be a high priority for Jakks Pacific. I'm putting them in the "Eventually but maybe in a few years" pile.

Metal Trip has even less going on for her, being a metal version of a recently established character. But I guess she's this tier's wild card, while I'm pretty sure they would go Metal Knuckles first if ever, Metal Trip could be next before Tails and Amy. Then again... she'd have to compete with Trip's masked and umasked designs for a slot.... and Jakks Pacific wouldn't want to oversaturate the waves with three Trip figures right off the bat...

(Also forgot to add them in the picture but Mecha Sonic MK II is in the same boat as Silver sonic and Amy Doll is the least likely one)

Tier 6

First off, let me preface this, since these characters have not appeared in any substantial games in the recent years, their likelihood of getting figurines? It's close to 0. Unless Jakks Pacific establishes an IDW line, (which tbh isn't that outlandish, but defo not anytime soon since we're still right off the heels of the Prime line and are currently going into the Sonic 3 Movie line. That's 4 branches of branding already) and even then they would have to compete with more popular characters from mainline IDW like Sage and Kit, Whisper and Tangle, Clutch, Dr. Starline, Mimic, Rough and Tumble. before we ever get characters from Classic. And that's only considering comic-exclusive characters. Hopefully Jakks and Sega would be smart and /not/ release game characters with the IDW branding but... well you know. Toy branding doesn't work that way.

Jakks Pacific actually released a Metal Virus Sonic figurine but it wasn't part of an IDW established line and part of a general Sega Branding line. (Ai Ai was in wave 1 and the only rep of Super Monkey Ball). Maybe it's Sega doing market research by releasing representative figurines of a bunch of their IPs to see which sells best? To see which IP would benefit from getting a Jakks Pacific line... Go buy Metal Virus Sonic if you want to see more IDW Sonic figurines y'all.

Anyway. Back to my post. Simple enough, if we do go through all that caveats, (IDW Sonic line established, Mainline IDW Sonic figurines already out and Classic Characters are left) then the Witchcarters are most likely options. Carrotia, Hocke-wulf and Bearanger first then Witchcart cause she's honestly the least marketable... (Just like Eggman).

Honey the Cat is a fan favorite but alas... complicated. Ian Flynn has mentioned that using her apart from cameos is difficult since she's an homage to Candy from Fighting Vipers, while I would assume that meant stuff in writing cause that would be using a personality based on a character he has no control over, it would make sense to extend that restriction to merch (imo). Why make a figurine of a character who can't be used to her full extent I guess? Then again... it's just a figurine... and she's appeared in artwork and promotional material before.

The band characters, okay, they're bottom of the barrel stuff, like, "in a decade once they've run out of characters to make" stuff... Sorry guys.

Tier 7

As long as Classic Chaotix is in limbo? None of them are getting any figurines. Like yes we did see Yui Karasuno illustrate a Classic Espio. We've also seen a Classic Vector cameo in Amy 30th

But Sonic's birthday and Espio's Sonic Channel artwork are commemorative pieces. Classic Vector is a "just hidden enough that we can say he's a different character if he's not allowed" kinda deal.

Ian Flynn has #KnowingSmiled Classic Chaotix before and we do have Classic Chaotix's anniversary next year. So fingers crossed!
