Ace Cream!

I lost the post! BUT! I saw a post about "Ace Cream", it was a little drawing of an ice cream cone in ace colors where the grey flavor was jokingly "concrete" but I just had to know, could someone make an ace cream cone? What is "grey" ice cream flavor? So, here we are, my collection for ace cream! I tried to get the best color matches I could.

Since vegan recipes popped up for black and grey, I searched specifically for the same for the white and purple for our vegan ace friends to enjoy, too! (l checked in the recipes myself but I am not vegan myself, so please let me know if anything in these needs an asterisk or warning)

I also tried to avoid the activated charcoal recipes as I've gotten mixed messages about the health of ingesting it and I'm not a doctor 😵‍💫

Something I saw in the paper earlier today left me to laugh so hard I'm not sure why I didn't wind up letting some tears of laughter go.

According to the nutritional article published, "meat, chicken and fish" are acidic kinds of food.

Hmm.

Last I looked-and I'd say this even if I wasn't vegetarian (let alone vegan)-chicken and fish are meat too. If an animal's killed to provide meals to us, its product is meat, no matter whether some beef, veal, chicken, fish and/or other kind of animal winds up losing its life.

So why was the author so reluctant to write beef's name in the paper?

Any and every animals deserves to be shown respect through having its proper identity known. Highly doubt I will receive a response to the email I sent to provide some subversive education to that effect; obviously didn't prevent me from trying to set her (as?) straight (as an asexual dyke can?).

"Raow!"

Avery turns to Thea. "So the cat was with you?"

"O-oh, no. Not e-exactly." Thea stands there silent; searches her mind. Unable to find an answer there, she darts her eyes over the knickknacks cluttering the desk — Valerie's desk — between them. Binders and loose papers mostly, but there's more. A couple leafy begonias; a blade-thin computer monitor; a digital picture frame showing a compact, middle-aged man. He stands in front of an old exhibit and beams a smile. Valerie's husband.

Run! She's looking for something to kill you with; that picture frame could do it, heavy and perfect clobbering-size as it is.

To all the queer people, enbies, trans people, gay, bi, pan, omni, ace-spec, aro-spec, and everyone else in the alphabet mafia, closeted or not, I understand that this weekend can be a lot for people, especially teens and children, who are forced to go to church and sit through long sermons. But there is something that you will hear, only not in the right context. 

Yes Jesus died for everyone, but he also died for you

He died for all the LGBTW+ people who have been accepted

He died for all the LGBTQ+ people who weren’t been accepted

He died for all the LGBTQ+ people who haven’t made it

Gender and Sexuality are irrelevant in God’s eyes. He died for you, regardless of who you are.

I understand that some people may not appreciate posts like this but this is for the kids who cry at night wondering why God hates them.

This is for the kids, who like me, were sent to Christian schools where they couldn’t ask for help from teachers.

I've been doing some thinking, and I realized that Asexuals/Aromantics and Vegans have a lot in common. They all don't partake in something that the world expects you to partake in. They all have to awkwardly bring it up when someone assumes they're going to partake in something they don't want to. They all get deranged amounts of hate for not wanting the thing they don't want because apparently it's an immense insult to others somehow. (Yes I'm aware veganism is a choice and asexuality isn't i'm just drawing comparisons between two things that are similar) "I don't eat meat" and people get absolutely livid at you for... Leaving more food they like for them to eat. "I don't want sex" and people go fucking berserk because you're... Leaving more potential partners for them to have since you're not a possible rival. "I don't date" and people outright dehumanize you entirely for... Yet again, leaving more potential partners for them to get with. I'm not even vegan, I just relate to the experience I guess.

It makes no sense. Be happy I'm not necking in on your fucking territory and mind ya business fuckboy.

My mother just saw a news blurb somewhere making it known no one in a certain Jeopardy game even tried to offer a response to the following question:

Left me to laugh a little, especially at the irony that, despite my Judaism, I could parrot back the entire Lord’s Prayer if I was asked to do it. I don’t believe any of its sentiments for a second unless they are applicable to God since, excuse me, Jews don’t regard Jesus as the Messiah; doesn’t mean I wasn’t raised to (attempt to?) be a good Christian appearing at church every Sunday. As if someone Jewish is supposed to have it easy giving responses to Christian queries like that. Of course, I’ve never fit in, honouring any stereotypes people want to affix to any and every difference of mine...don’t expect me to resemble a musical idol of mine despite God opting to make me an asexual dyke; doesn’t serve to expect me to be evangelistic about my vegan diet since I have it hard coming out to that effect...I’m way better known to tailor to queries asked, making people engage in a kind of math to deduce my diet’s nature; sure don’t adhere to ideas people have about liberal Jews only appearing at synagogue three times in a week and a half then never again until the High Holidays return or that Judaism’s always? only? ashkenazic...didn’t even have any recognition of my Jewish faith until adulthood, something I think helps explain the kind of freedom I have to live my faith as I feel is right. 

Hardly sure if they had it hard according to how archaic hallowed has potential to seem or if, like me, they don’t believe in Christianity any (much as that obviously doesn’t explain my ability to say the whole prayer no problem). Doesn’t mean I’m not happy I had a decent source of laughter to start today.
