We are excited to announce that we are brand ambassadors for Comfy Critter Pet Beds! ✨
Leo & Lyra love this Cozy Corner! It’s one of the few things they will actually share, and is the perfect place for their lazy afternoon naps. The replaceable potty pads inside make it easy to keep clean. And moms are obsessed with this dino/taco fleece pattern! 🦕🌮
If you have followed us for any amount of time, you’ll recognize a lot of Comfy Critter products among our photos. We have been fans for many years! They are SO cute, soft, and highly durable; and a staple in our guinea pigs’ homes. We also love supporting a women-owned and operated business. Heather is super friendly, and she designs the most amazing custom products! 💖

Let's talk about the Baraka Impact!
Tumblr media
"Baraka" means "Thank you" in Wali, a Ghanaian language with approximately 140,000 speakers in north-western Ghana. The Baraka Impact is a family-owned business and a collaboration between Canadians and Ghanaians. Ghanaian-Canadian founder Gifty Serbeh-Dunn would deliver care packages to the women of her community when visiting home. She asked what they needed, and they told her they would like to work and earn income. So, Gifty and her husband Wayne built a business selling the shea butter which had been crafted in Gifty's home community for generations.
From the website: "Baraka believes that business can and should be a force for good, integrating social value, business value, and environmental stewardship." They provide their Ghanaian partners with fair payment and support for basic necessities. In addition, they operate a worldwide market for sellers who would otherwise never dream of such a thing.
Baraka sells not only organic, hand-crafted shea butter but also cocoa butter & powder, kombo butter, black soap, and more, all at honestly great prices.

I started Torch & Arrow because in all my novels, talismanic pendants and objects feature heavily. I wanted to share my love of symbolism, crystals, energy work through objects, magic and meaning. I use vintage parts and give them new life, combining the pieces with unique modern settings / fresh clasps and hardware. This serpentine piece with healing, negativity-cleansing hematite, is just one example. Everything is one of a kind. My only 20% off sale all year ends soon! Blessings! (If you go to Torch & Arrow and this piece isn't here, it means it has sold! But I have all kinds of unique goodies available!)

I still have LOTS of Fallout soap. Unfortunately, it seems I missed the mark, but I'm not sure where. Maybe they aren't as visually pleasing, but honestly, that seems hard to believe.
I think they're all beautiful and wonderful and I need to sell them so I can make more 😤
I was going to make some hot process soap yesterday, but NY 2lb jar of lye that I got with my first ever cold process kit finally ran out, and I am 2 ounces short 😭
A new jar won't get here till Monday and by then it won't matter.
Because I leave for Wasteland Weekend next week and will have to put my shop on vacation mode anyway.
SO, I GUESS LEMME SHOW YOU MY SOAPS.
And hell, maybe I'll hella discount all of them just to get them outta my shop. To make room for NEW stuff.
Here's what I got left!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. Blush
Blush is a sweet almond and cherry blossom soap. It's simple, but it would go great in a guest bathroom or as a gift for someone who wouldn't understand why you handed them a bar of soap called "The Ghoul"
2. Lavender Sparkle
Lavender Sparkle is in the same vein as Blush, but it smells like Lavender. It's a combination of cold process soap and a melt and pour base. It smells beautiful and, again, would look lovely in a guest bathroom.
3. Lucy
This one is driving me crazy. First of all, it didn't come out how I wanted it to, design-wise, but I was assured that it was, in fact, great and looked awesome. Yet, despite me adding samples of it to orders, not a single bar has sold. It smells so fresh and clean. It smells like cut greenery. It's the kind of scent you go to to cut through the day if you've been outside sweating and getting nasty. It's a wonderful soap, and I'm crushed no one's bought one yet.
4. Max
This is another soap that I don't think I've sold a single bar. I may have, but I'm 99% sure I only listed 8 because the 9th bar wasn't as successful in the design. This is the bar that didn't solidify overnight, so my color design was ruined. However, I waited till it was solid and cut a chunk out of the top, added new soap, new color, everything, and made it into something other than a dark bar of sweet smelling soap. Which it is. It's pistachio and caramel, it's absolutely decadent. I've sent out samples, and yet no one's purchased a full bar. Poor Max.
5. Shady
I have managed to sell one bar of Shady. But this is one I thought for sure people would buy up. It smells like sweet tobacco, leather, and licorice. It's beautiful and the COLORS?!?! It's possibly my most attractive soap to date. If you like a slightly more masculine scent and bright colors aren't for you, Shady definitely is. Unless, of course, you have issues with the NCR. Jk you should still try this soap.
6. Spice
This soap actually sells really well, and I've made multiple batches of it. But I do still have some in stock if you would like to smell like the most valuable substance in the world. I would say, "Like a Fremen," but we all know those stilsuits are *not* giving demure and cinnamon sented. GET UR SPICE SOAP TODAY.
7. The Citadel
Citadel has also sold well, but I still have a few bars left. It's a delicious, warm, and sweet scented soap. I wanted to make a soap that looked and smelled like a cocktail I've had at Wasteland that was fittingly named "mother's milk," and I have to say... mines better 😎 Vanilla and Macadamia scented soap fit for an Immortan, and you!
8. The Ghoul
Despite the internet's obsession with Cooper Howard, AKA The Ghoul, this soap has not sold well. Those who HAVE purchased it have told me the scent is so incredible that they want to switch all their other fragrances out for whatever it is I put in this soap. AND it's got exfoliating salt, AND it's got STORYTELLING. It may not be as beautiful as Shady, but it is absolutely a work of art, and if you like masculine scents that are a little citrusy, this one is for you.
9. The Vault
Luckily, Vault has sold well. It's one of my favorite scents because I think anything "fresh linen" is just *peak* quintessential "clean" smell. You can't beat it. On top of smelling like clean laundry, it doesn't just smell like a tide pod, you can smell the plants. It's like if you took your clothes to a laundry witch and she scrubbed them clean in an icy river with her own concoction of plants and magic and what you got back smelled familiar, but wild. It's great, the design was clever, if a bit too on the nose for fandoms, and I WILL be making it again, just with a different design.
10. The Green Place
The Green Place has also sold well, as it should. It's a perfectly juicy peachy smell. The scent is actually named Forbidden Fruit. Which is so appropriate for this soap. It's inspired by Furiosa and her never wavering drive to get back to her beloved home, clinging to the dream like a peach clings to its pit. If you like fruity scents, try this one today.
And that's it, that's my shop at the moment.
I have one curing as we speak, and my next soap will be cake scented and covered in beautiful sprinkles.
I hope you see something you like and snag a bar or two!
