author’s note: this was also posted on my wattpad account, just wanted to share it here!

• the only reason ayato knew of your existence was because he heard your name a few times brought up at school. at first, he thought you were a student at akademi but something in the back of his mind told him that he had the wrong idea. he ended up shrugging it off. that is, until he saw a 3d billboard of you in tokyo, telling the watchers below to buy tickets for your upcoming concert.

• this whole time, y/n was an idol? ayato felt like a complete idiot when he realized this and spent the next few minutes, just standing there on the sidewalk, watching the same billboard cycle through other things until you popped up again. when you did, ayato took his time admiring your features. it's no wonder you were so popular at school...you're gorgeous.

• with that, ayato hurried to his house whilst he looked up everything about you and once he was in his house, he listened to every single song that you have ever sung. unreleased, popular, underrated, instrumental, acapella, you name it. you just so happened to have over 45 songs! for someone who was in the music scene for such a short amount of time, you did have a lot of albums...but that's alright!

— while it wasn't ayato's usual taste in music, he was willing to make an exception for you and only you.

• ayato is the type of guy to see someone wearing a piece of your merchandise, walk up to them, and say, "oh, you like y/n l/n? name 5 songs."

— insufferable, yes, but he had to assert dominance and show every single follower that he was your number #1 fan! if someone claims to be it, they're dead wrong. literally.

• he hates how some of the guys at his school also knew who you were and thought you were attractive. ayato knows that realistically, it was bound to happen but he still hates having to deal with it and it's not like he could do anything about it too, just suck it up.

• if you're the type of idol to dye your hair differently with every single album debut, ayato carefully tracks for any leaks on what color it would be because he's been debating on matching with you. he's lucky that akademi high school isn't strict when it comes to uniquely colored hair (as some schools force students to dye their hair black, even if a person's natural hair color is brown). of course, he would stick out more but he didn't care. it's a way he can show his support for you and there's nothing wrong with that. 

• has only been to one of your concerts since, he won't lie, the tickets are a bit pricey and his part-time job could hardly cover it. the concert was really cool to experience— especially since ayato doesn't get out much— and he loved seeing you in person, but some annoying fans in front of him wouldn't stop holding their signs up in the air blocking his view but still tried to have a good thing by waving his light-stick and chanting in perfect harmony with the other fans.

— he would've gone a vip pass instead, but if he did that, ayato would have become flat-broke and that would in turn make him receive an angry lecture from his parents about finances.

• ayato has sent you loads of fan mail, some by name, others anonymously. he's sure that you get thousands by the hour but if there is even the slightest chance that you might read at least one of his, he'll take that opportunity

• whenever you describe your ideal type in a man in interviews, ayato makes it his duty to meet the criteria. you want someone with a little bit of muscle? he can work out more. you want a man who can cook? looks like ayato will be joining the cooking club at school. trust me, he will do anything to be viewed perfect in your eyes

• although his first-ever time seeing you in person was pretty much a bust, ayato made up for it by teaming up with info-kun to see where you would be in japan and finding your location by fan sightings. it was from there that ayato was able to find you in shibuya but it wasn't good news, actually. you were mad at the paparazzi trying to take scandalous photos of you and when ayato realized this, his head began to spin and he, too, started shouting at them to give you some space and to back off.

— when you realized this, you turned over to see just who was coming to help you since you weren't expecting it and mouthed a small 'thank you' which sent ayato's heart soaring.

• ayato has purchased an ungodly amount of merch from you, whether that be shirts, water bottles, limited-time ramen, or soda cans, he's even ripped off pages in magazines solely because your face was on it.

• alas, he still needs to find a way to worm into your personal life. it's a little hard to do that with just how many bodyguards you have and have lots of cameras in your house, too many for him to be able to capture you without any issues...

I applaud you for making the best yandere Neige hcs on this site! To make things more dramatic, may I reccomend Leona x Vil? Why? Because their two sides of the same coin & bicker like an old married couple. Imagine Vil being in a secret relationship HEALTHY with Leona while dealing with stalker Neige. Imagine Neige catching that he's lost to Leona of all people. How far would he go? How delusional would he get? Better yet when he ultimately loses (think Gomez vs Garrett from Wednesday)

Phone calls. Foreign accessories. Photos of Vil in the Sunset Savannah. Familiarity masked by banter and insults. Leona’s visits to their movie set—and wasn’t it Vil who recruited him as the consultant for their Catch the Tail scenes, after he initially rejected the director’s request?

But why Leona Kingscholar? Sure, their relationship follows a few tropes but they only met in NRC!! Neige has known Vil since childhood. He is his equal onstage. He can support Vil’s career in ways Leona never could.

His thoughts are interrupted by a kiss. It isn’t anything like Neige’s kisses with Vil—scripted, professional, abruptly finished along with the movie scene. This one is off-screen, passionate, genuine. Vil is reciprocating Leona’s touches. Vil isn’t caring about lipstick smears. Vii-kun is being defiled—

Your heart raced in your chest, the air struggling to enter your lungs.

You know he heard your footsteps.

You peek out from behind the corner and see him.

Ayato Aishi.

Whenever you saw him in the halls or in class, you barely paid him any mind.

Any interactions you had were a simple, "hello" and a smile.

And yet, he was right there, covered in blood with a dead girl at his feet. Midori Gurin was her name, you thought.

You met his cold, piercing gaze and you leaned against the wall, hiding once again. You wanted to run, to tell someone, to get to safety- but your legs were stuck in place.

You heard the quiet taps of the black school shoes coming closer and closer. You were prepared to feel the icy metal of the knife against your neck.

You look up at the blood-covered male, whose eyebrows were furrowed.

"I- I'm sorry! I won't tell anyone what I saw, I swear! Please, just don't hurt me!" You exclaim, shivering.

He let out a quiet grunt, looking you up and down.

He walked back to the body, wrapping her up in a black garbage back.

He really spared your life. Why? You didn't know, but you took the chance and ran.

The next day, you couldn't help but keep thinking of him.

He was blessed with good looks, and the way his eyes traveled up your figure sent shivers down your spine.

Any normal person would've broken the promise and reported him to the authorities, but you couldn't bring yourself to do it.

Somehow, you felt guilty. It was so stupid. How could you feel guilty?

You were walking through the hallway, zoned out. You were brought back to reality when you bumped into someone's chest.

"Oh, sorry-" you said, looking up.

It was none other than Ayato.

"We meet again, Y/N," he said in a low voice.

You gulped, unsure of what to say.

He looked even better up close.

"G- good morning, Ayato." You said quietly.

He looked around to see if the coast was clear.

"I take it you haven't told anyone what you saw," he said, raising a brow.

You shook your head frantically.

"No! No, I haven't. I promise," you said.

He smirked, brushing his finger against your cheek gently.

"You're cute when you blush," he said quietly, walking away.

You stood there, stunned.

You felt your cheek and felt the heat. Glancing at a nearby window reflection, you could just about make out how red your face was.

Were you really falling for a murderer? A criminal?!

From then on, he always had an eye on you. Those grey eyes always seemed to sparkle when they met your e/c ones.

You found yourself staring at him more often, wanting his attention.

You tried to deny it- you really did- but there was just no doubt about it.

You fell in love with Ayato Aishi.

One day, you thought enough was enough. You were stuck in an endless cycle of fluster around him.

You left a bright pink note in his locker, telling him to meet you under the cherry blossom tree after school.

It was the most cliché thing you could do, but you were desperate.

You stood at the tree impatiently, already regretting this. What if he won't show up? What if you'll end up like Midori?

Your thoughts were slightly put to rest as you see a familiar head of grey hair approach you.

"Oh, Y/N. You're the one who left that note?" He asked.

You nod.

"Yeah, um... I've caught very strong feelings for you. I- I know it might seem weird, because I saw you... Kill someone... B- but that doesn't change anything! I can't help it, I like you," you said, blushing and sweating like crazy.

He stared at you blankly for a moment. That moment seemed to drag on for too long.

"That's... unexpected. But I won't deny it. I like you too. I thought Midori simply got in my way," he said in his usual emotionless voice.

You breathed a sigh of relief, hugging him nervously.

If he really did like you, he wouldn't hurt you. Not like that poor girl...

ayato aishi dating a yandere!reader hcs

author’s note: this was also posted on my wattpad, just wanted to tell you all that beforehand, so no need to worry!

• when he realized that you were the same as him, ayato turned into the surprised pikachu meme, just looking at you all like: (ʘᗩʘ')

• but how did ayato find out, exactly? well...it took him a good few days to connect the dots fully. he didn't suspect you to be a yandere until well into dating you, that's when he started noticing things. a few of his shirts and other garments were missing— which is to be expected— but when he asked you about them, you pretended like you had no clue what happened to them which further deepened his curiosity. next, ayato began to pick up on things like whenever he wouldn't be hanging out with you and would be out doing whatever, he'd miraculously bump into you. quite the coincidence, isn't it? that's what ayato tried to chalk it up to at first but soon found out that you were following him around.

• soooo, one day when you were out of your house with your family, ayato took it upon himself to snoop

— he climbed into the window leading into your bedroom and practically turned the place upside down. of course, he was careful. he didn't want to give off the impression to you, along with your family, that he was ever here. ayato started by going through your drawers and found some of his clothes stashed inside (which he may or may not have stolen back) before opening your closet where he came face to face with a shrine dedicated to him.

— it was nothing compared to his, sure, but it was still impressive. not only that, but you had printed out some photos of him and littered them around the shrine.

• after he was looking through things, he left with his stolen clothes in tow but when you got back home and returned to your room, you felt something was off because of one thing that caught your attention: the window was open, something you definitely weren't responsible for. afraid that one of your parents was in your room or worse, you began looking around only to find that ayato's shirts and boxers that you had taken a while back had disappeared. scoffing, you pulled out your phone and texted him: "were you in my room??"

— ayato, as expected, tried to deny this but you easily saw through this act of his because you were well aware of the fact that before you agreed to be his girlfriend, he was stalking you. what followed was a conversation where both of you just let things hang out and confessed to a slew of things, you more so than ayato but luckily, you two continued to date after this (but it's not like either one of you would let the other leave willingly).

• you and ayato constantly vie for each other's attention, engaging in elaborate schemes to outdo one another in displays of affection; from leaving love notes hidden in unexpected places to planning extravagant surprises.

• you two are fiercely protective of each other, to the point where you may occasionally clash with anyone they perceive as a threat to your relationship

— ayato is more physical about it though. there will be times when he'll show up at your doorstep all bruised and bloody. he loves how worried you look when you help clean him up! even more when you pout, thinking he was the one who got hurt, and embrace him in a hug as you play with his hair

— when you get jealous over someone, it's the complete opposite. you're vocal about it, maybe not to ayato, but to the person you view as a rival. so, when you find them the next day at school, you'll outright tell them that ayato is your boyfriend. if they continue to be a problem, that's when you'll take things to the next level and eliminate them.

• both of you are skilled manipulators, adept at bending others to their will, testing each other's boundaries, and pushing the limits of control but they would only do the latter to their partner. though, there is really a 50/50 chance that their manipulation and gaslighting would work on another.

• anyway, good luck dating each other because you can't leave haha 🫡

also i lost half of the writing bc of a bug in my laptop, so i had to rewrite everything so sorry if its get shorty, i cry :’)

- Since Teru has to keep his "School Prince" image, he has to be cautious and silent when stalking you.

- Will pick up things you drop in the way, pencils, erasers. If you draw, the papers you were sketching will disappear.

- At first would try to get a little touchy with you, getting closer to you, brushing your hands on purpose, touching your shoulder, etc.

- Would ask for your help with the paper work just so he can spend more time with you, kicking akane out so you two can be alone.

- He also demands you to spend your free time with him, he will walk you to home, hold hands, share materials, innocent things like that. For now.

- If he sees a guy flirting with you, he would approach quietly from behind, giving the guy a death glare, after the guy back off, you turn and see him giving you a smile, he will start to chat with you like always. he will get rid of the guy by the end of the day.

- He will eliminate anyone who he seems like competition. That said, he will protect you from supernaturals and tell you stay away from them or stay away from things involving ghosts in general.

- When you realize some of your friends missing, and you find yourself more and more alone, instead of relying on Teru for comfort, you suspect him.

the color red that’s all over his outfit was one of the first things that caught your eye besides his foreign appearance that separates himself among most inazuma folk in both ritou and inazuma city. not long after, you see his pyro vision that shines brightly on his belt when his whole figure is now in view.

its color definitely matches him, you thought to yourself as you watch him walk towards you with a smile on his face.

the red from the maple leaves of ritou falls down on you both as you reluctantly accept thoma’s offer in taking you out for dinner to get to know you before you go visit the yashiro commission to meet the head. you were getting hungry from how long you’ve been traveling to go to the electro nation (and you couldn’t help but feel relieved that you don’t have to eat so much fish anymore).

this feels like a date, you thought to yourself as thoma gestures you to follow him before he heads towards the road of inazuma city, the skies start to turn to light red–ish from the sunset. not that i’m complaining though, he’s quite cute for a housekeeper.

the color red of the sashimi platter strikes your eyes when you look down at the table full of foods that thoma made in the komore teahouse. who knew inazuma would have such good food?!

unnoticed by you however, thoma couldn’t honestly keep his eyes on his food and eat, not when he finds himself taken back by surprise from your comment about how you don’t think you’ll ever want to go back to mondstadt because of inazuma’s cuisine. he didn’t know you’re from mondstadt!

the red hues on thoma’s cheeks are visible as you compliment his great skills in cooking and that you admire how he takes so much care for the animals in the city. if you continue giving him undeserving compliments, he might just get a heart attack!

it didn’t take long before the dinner had finally ended, much to his disappointment. was it hard to ask for this dinner to last forever?

it didn’t help that you no longer focused on the beautiful sight of the red-orange mixed sky when the both of you arrived in the residence of the kamisato clan, you could feel your cheeks warming from the sight of the noble head of the yashiro commission and the kamisato clan, completely entranced by his light purple eyes. why did no one tell you he’d be this attractive!?

blue matches him a lot, you thought, before realizing that you’ve been staring at the man in silence and immediately cleared your throat in embarrassment, to which ayato chuckles in response, the both of you unaware that a certain companion of yours has been watching the whole scene with a small frown.

instead, your mind is filled with numerous imaginations and memories that you made with the noble head, who never fails to find himself enjoying his time with you (though, he refuses to let that out from his lips). some servants would even gush about how you two would make a great couple, unaware of how another set of ears are listening with resentment.

you paid attention to how blue the pond below you is as you admire your reflection from the said pond for just a moment, your hands held a special box that you’ll soon give to someone you love. would ayato accept the brooch that you bought just because it matches his purple eyes? he’ll probably compliment you and give you that dashing smile of his that could never be compared to any men you’ve met.

feeling giddy, you immediately rush to the doors of the yashiro commission quarters, greeting a certain housekeeper who’s cleaning nearby along the way.

it was strange, thoma thinks. you’re more.. casual unlike before when you were awkward and closed off. it’s good that you’re getting comfortable in inazuma, though he couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable with the source of your comfort.

you quickly look away from his concerned gaze. “it’s nothing… i just feel like a fool, that’s all.”

you flinched when you felt his hand on your shoulder. how did he come from the doorway to where you are so fast? “you can tell me what’s wrong, ( name ). remember what we told each other on our first dinner?” he spoke.

your mind drifts to the memory when thoma told you he’ll always have your back throughout your stay in inazuma, and you slowly nodded in response.

he then lets go of your shoulder. “now tell me, what happened?”

your shoulders slumps, eyeing the trash can that has the brooch. “...was i truly a fool to think that he likes me?”

thoma looks to the trash can below, his eyebrows furrow at the sight of a shiny brooch that’s thrown to the can. “you bought this brooch?”

you nodded again. “i thought he’d like it… maybe he just doesn’t like me at all.” you spoke in sadness. “tell me thoma, has he ever said something about me to you ever since i came here?”

his eyes slightly widened in surprise. “a-ah, well… i don’t think he ever said something to me that’s noted o-of… i apologize for not being of help, ( name ).” he said, if he had the ears of a dog, it’d be drooping out of sadness.

you smiled sadly. “it’s alright, thoma. you don’t have to apologize. i should be the one to apologize for interrupting you from cleaning sir… kamisato’s office. i’ll take my leave before i could cause any more disturbances–”

thoma immediately grabs your wrist to prevent you from walking away.

“wait,” he said. “...do you love lord ayato that much?”

you inhaled sharply from his question. despite the fact that ayato just tossed away such a precious gift you’re willing to spend on just for him, your love couldn’t die as quickly as you hoped. “...with my life.”

you didn’t notice how his eyes spark an idea. “...then let me help you. i think i know a way for ayato to see you as… more than some business partner – but this will sound bold so i apologize in advance for what i’m about to say.” he stated, red hues started to appear around his face.

you were hesitant on his suggestion for a moment, unsure if it’s really worth it. “...why do you think this will work?”

“because lord ayato is quite unsure with his feelings about you when i asked him, this might be an opportunity for you, don’t you think?”

you frowned, thinking deeply about your decision. “...i suppose you’re right…”

“just hear me out on this plan and who knows? maybe this will be good for you in the end!” he said enthusiastically with a small smile. “of course, if you’re still unsure of this, you can reject this and i’ll understand. it’s just a suggestion anyway, haha!”

you nodded slowly. thoma does have a point, it won’t hurt to try and hear him out, right?

you sighed in defeat and looked at him with willing eyes. “alright, tell me your plan.”

“we should make him feel jealous.”

“...how, exactly?”

you watched as his smile grew. it didn’t look like the usual smile you see on him daily, it was an entirely new smile you haven’t seen before, the sight alone made you feel uneasy.

“why don’t we pretend that you and i are in a fake relationship?”

thoma watched as conflict washes over your face, his heart paces faster in anticipation of your response. just one more step and he gets to have you, even if it’s just a silly act for you to get with ayato.

forgive me for throwing the brooch you loved to the trash bin, lord ayato. thoma thought as you finally made a decision. but just this once, i’d like to be selfish.

“if you think this works then.. i trust you, thoma.” you said.

he tries not to show his excitement. “you can always count on me, ( name ).”

looking back at this moment alone, you wished you didn’t say yes to the housekeeper. maybe then, you wouldn’t have been haunted from the sight of the color red.

Like just lingering anywhere y/n would be, especially if theyre the head of the maids or smth. Picture him slipping up and mentioning something only VERY few people know about them, trying to play it off that it was just a coincidence that he said anything at all.

I fully agree, omg, like, there's just something about picturing Kun as a yandere for me that I just see him as completely unhinged behind a well formed mask. No one expects it of him, but he's one of the deadliest yanderes out there.

Definitely spends the better portion of his days fantasizing about the OC and what a life together would look like. His royal viziers find it particularly annoying when he starts to daydream during lectures or his kingly duties. Literally everyone can tell he'd rather be anywhere but here rn, unless you're around. Which lead to you always required to be around him when he has tasks like these to do - you are, obviously, very confused by this, but Kun could not be happier. It's as if a part of his fantasy has come true, and now he doesn't have to picture you beside him while he receives royal visitors or gifts or whatever. Plus, it's a way for him to show off, at least, in his mind, all of the things he can do and provide for you, should you accept his offer of marrying him... he still has to propose though, he's just waiting for the opportune moment...
