Hi! I saw you do fic search? I've been looking for a a very long time for a specific fic that I can't find again. Information I remember is as follows, I can't remember which characters they were.

Jedi finds a mandalorian encased in Carbonite in a dungeon, wake him up and steals him away (possibly a manda'lor)

Im pretty sure they end up in a "hostel/hotel" together.

Unfortunately that's all I remember bc I think it was only a few chapters in and at the time definitely unfinished.

Hopefully it rings a bell? Either way thanks for trying.

Obi-Wan finds a Mandalorian frozen in carbonite, who has been there for a long, long time. It's just his luck that it happens to be a powerful Sith Lord-slash-Mand'alor.

Shmi Skywalker's six-year-old son finds a man frozen in carbonite at the junkyard.

I really wish that there were more Maul fics out there and.this is the reason why. We have a young Maul on the run with some bros, we have Mandos, and when have the shenanigans. Maul seems like such a serious character until you make him smol and feisty. Give it a chance you may like it.

Notes :

Harry is the Dobby gif for the first couple chapters. Then he adds an 'i want to...' to that statement. I'm not gonna lie this is one of.the best. It may seem like an odd combo but it works so well. You might even call the relationship somewhat healthy. I really can't give much more without giving the whole thing away but the progression is so smooth. And we get a wonderful cast of side characters that also have their own life. It is a universe of its own.

Notes :

Ok so Scream, the first scream that is, is actually my favorite movie. It's just something about a movie making fun of other movies, and in a way paving the road for each of it's sequels / trequals / remakes to make fun of it. There is also of course Billy Loomis and Stu Macher, which had such a thing going on. Like there was chemistry there and I was sad that we never really got to see it bloom. If your relating to that sentiment than you are in luck because this fic does just that. It helps expand the story into what could have been.

Notes :

It is such an interesting take on something that really actually makes sense and it is done so well. In the anime sometimes it really is apparent that Sasuke and Naruto could have been in the opposite positions based on the flip of a coin and it is really expressed to well here. There are some cannon differences as well, which makes it interesting because it is also somewhat true to cannon. They don't just go through what the other did for a 'flipped position's pov, they go through their own unique experiences, and have reactions that they could have had which really amplifies my enjoyment of this fic.

Yes, this is a Reading the Books fanfic. Yes, this is an overused trope. That being said, I really hope that I can finish this. I will be leaning into a lot of discussion about mental health in this, so keep that in mind.

This fic currently has NO set update schedule. I will update when I can, and with however many chapters I can.

This is it. This is the best one. I personally have a love hate relationship with read it and react fics but this one checks all my boxes. It has actual character development through the story, it's not just a he said, she did, they cry things it's a wow this happened to you but you are also existing now and we have an active relationship that is somehow already existent and just budding. I suggest you just try it out. The first 10 even the first 5 chapters should be enough to hook you in.

Oh my goodness it's so cute. We have Professor Xavier on TV doing his little PBS genetic show. And then we have sweet little father Erik that's trying his best but his kid only falls asleep to a geneticist. And they're so good for each other and they're so sweet.

Notes :

Goodness izuku really goes through it in this one. He has basically all for one just a little bit different and he's still the string being we love but he's a sad string bean. Family drama at its finest. We really don't see too much bashing but you can tell that some characters need to work on their attitude a little bit more than others. It has a happy ending though I promise so far. Oh and also for fans of the trolley problem this is your fic.

He appears in Melida/Daan period but it fairly quickly progresses. We have Jedi, we have Mandalorians, we have young Alderaan royalty, and best of all WE HAVE JASTER MEREEL. Go go read it no regerts

Ignore the Red Hood's attempts at flirting with him, he's pretty sure he's just misinterpreting his overboss' perfectly platonic actions.

Ignore the people who say he comes back from the dead, no one around here knows how to check for a pulse.

Ignore the Bats, he's certainly trying to. Whatever they're after, it's certainly not him.

He's just a completely normal Crime Alley kid, after all.

Notes :

This is an OC centric fic series. It basically isn't though they fit in so well with Gotham and the Universe in general that this is basically a small character centric story. It starts out as a Reddit fic and then it develops into a more traditional fic. It is also a very well developed and thought out Red Hood x OC fic. If you're into this kinda thing it is definitely a must read, and if this is the first time you read something like this it is a great way to get introduced.

Qui-Gon Jinn did not actually die on Naboo, but he still left a plenty of hurt, rash decisions and consequences in his wake, as well as a padawan unprepared for knighthood and adult relationships. Obi-Wan comes into his own without his master, but in a very different way.

Notes :

Ow. Just ow. This is my current read and it is so gosh darn good. It has also made me cry a solid 5 times so far. It starts off kinda weird but I promise you it is so good. Getting past like the 1st chapter the weird kinda iffy stuff is basically over and if I'm being honest I could absolutely understand why the weird is in these in the first place. You want a good cry here it is. It is Jedi positive if not Qui Gon positive and even then it never goes into bashing territory. Obi Wan goes through it but don't worry Grampa Yoda is there and there is lots of bonding.

So that went in a way I was really expecting. There is a ship that is NOT included in the tags and it kinda is a little out there. It's a rare pair. It is still a great story just be aware that in later chapters it takes a turn.
