one thing that drives me crazy is israel supporters constantly refer to hamas by their actions on Oct 7 (murderers, rapists, terrorists etc) but somehow israel committing these very same crimes against palestinians over the last 19 months doesn’t define the israeli state, or people, or even the army by them. israel will always remain “the only democracy” even as they continue to hold 5 million people captive under occupation.
