Hunter didn’t know what was going to happen to you now, you weren’t there with them on Kaller. You were somewhere else when oder 66 happened, and hunter hadn’t heard a word from you since. To say he was worried was an understatement, fleeing from the empire while you could be out there still was something that keeps him up most night. He doesn’t even want to think about what happened to you, or if you are even still alive. You are part of the family and everyone was worried, but to him it was worst. Cause to him you were much more, something he would never dare to say out loud.

Looking at the stars hunter could only hope you were also looking at them, and maybe even think about him.

They were currently on their way back to Sidd, omega was looking at something on hunters borrowed data pad, „Hey who is this“ asked Omega holding up the data pad with a group picture of the batch and a young Jedi in the center smiling, hunter was looking at them with a soft smile wich barley noticeable. Everyone went silent and looked at what omega was showing hunter lowered his gaze before turning around again. With a sigh Tech answered „That was our Jedi general, we don’t know what happened to them or if they are even alive still sadly.“ Omegas eyes widened and she looked shocked„Oh I didn’t know im so sorry, but there is a chance she is alive right ? I mean you said that you aren’t sure so there is still a possibility.“ She looked hopeful, and she saw that hunter was deeply affected by the picture. „Don’t get your hopes up kid.“ said Hunter with a sigh, but it was rather directed at him then omega.

You’ve known Bruce and Harvey since Kindergarten you three were best friends, till zu weren’t anymore.

You didn’t know what and how it happened but Bruce went away and suddenly it was only you and Harvey. Bruce just disappeared from earth, that’s how it felt. You and Bruce had something special, you loved him with all your heart and you knew he did love you back, but suddenly it didn’t matter anymore cause he was gone. Just gone.

But at least you had Harvey, he wasn’t Bruce, and Harvey knew he couldn’t replace him. But he didn’t need to replace him, Harvey weaved his way through your heart, and after a while Bruce was forgotten. Not completely, but what you now have with Harvey is something special, something you’ve never experienced with Bruce. Even tho you knew Bruce loved you, you two were never together he never let you fully in, and maybe it is for the best cause now you have Harvey. Harvey the good looking Law student, who is kind and compassionate, who is always pushing you to do your best, who motivates you, who is there for you.

But why, if Harvey is so good to you, doesn’t skip your heart the way it did for Bruce. Why does you heart now stutter, after five years of not hearing anything from Bruce, when he suddenly stands before you and Harvey, at you charity gala for disadvantaged children.

Having to keep a secret from Peter wasn’t exactly what you wanted to do, but it was necessary. If he would fine out that you were hanging out with Spider-Man , would totally freak him out, but you want to tell him desperately. He was your best friend since kindergarten and you tell each other everything, little did you know Peter felt the same way.

Peter is currently sitting on your bed in your room waiting for you to come out of the shower. To day is the day where he tells you he is Spider-Man, yes you knew Spider-Man, but you didn’t know it was him secretly. He doesn’t know why he didn’t tell you earlier. Maybe it was the fear of rejection, to he was just foolish. But he decided to befriend you as Spider-Man first before telling you. So now here he was hyping himself up before telling you, cause there was another thing he wanted to tell you. But this is the first step. He waited and went through every scenario in his head about how this could go. The bathroom door opens and his head snaps to your figure, two in hand drying your hair.

< hey, so i was thinking we could watch Jurassic park while we work on my new logo set.> He only half listened to what you were saying and only nodded. “Hey um before we do that I need to tell you something, but you can’t freak out.” “Yeah sure, I promise what is it ?”

Peter took a deep breath, whatever he wanted to tell you it must be pretty important. He looks you deep in the eyes. “Iamspiderman”, he says way too fast, “wait what, are you serious?”, he just nods while looking like a kicked Puppy. “Wait, wait,wait, so you’re telling me you Spider-Man and, I’ve been really hanging around you for like the past six months, almost every evening when it really was you?”, he just nods again, and you know exactly what is going on inside his head. You sit yourself down beside him on the bed “Peter I’m not mad, if you think I am, and I know you’re thinking that. Im just surprised that’s all, and why didn’t you tell me earlier?”

He thinks and before he says anything he sighs “I didn’t know how to tell you at the beginning, I wanted to tell you I was actually really close to doing it a few times, but i was scared I don’t know why. I should have known you wouldn’t be angry I’m sorry.”, “Hey look at me, don’t apologize, it’s normal to be scared about stuff like that, and you still the same aren’t you. Your Peter, my Peter.” Those words hit him hard, he was your peter and nothing would ever change that and that comforts him. Before Peter could think he hugged you, and that hug eased all of his worry’s at the time, he finally felt at ease. Here with you, time stood still.

Maybe he doesn’t know you know, but how can you go back to being friends after what you discovered. You know he is Robin, after last night, he was visiting you while on patrol as always and then you saw it, saw him. He didn’t take off the mask, but you saw you, his laugh was the same as the one you know from school. It all made sense suddenly, not having a lot of time, always suddenly having to leave and everything else. You don’t know why but it still hurts you that he didn’t tell you even after all the years of friendship and hardships you went through together. But you can understand why he don’t tell you, it was to dangerous if he did, but still a small part think he doesn’t trust you. And that hurt.

So now here you are again, at night sitting with him well Robin on your rooftop talking. But it’s hart to pretend when you know it is really your friend there. Thinking about it now it worries you that it is really him, you are aware that this job is dangerous and that every time something can go wrong. But you know he’s capable from what you seen him do as Robin and what you’ve read about his superhero persona, but still the thought of something going wrong scares you, the thought of losing him scares you.

You look at him and sigh “Hey you alright?” He ask you sigh again “Yeah I’m just thinking, you know I’m actually worried about you.” “Why?” He ask confused, you can see his forehead creasing a bit like he dose when someone gets on his nerves and you chuckle. “Well what you do isn’t really safe, so I wonder what happens when something goes wrong, I don’t want to lose you.” You say sincere, you can see he taken back by what you just said and he sighs. “Mhm, I get what you mean, and honestly I try not to think about what if something goes wrong. And I don’t want it to be a possibility where you lose me, I quiet enjoy out late night talks. And besides I have something important to do before it can even get that far.” You only nod, not knowing what to answer to that. “What do you have important to do?”, “There is someone, and I have to tell them about how I really feel, they don’t know that I do at night and I can’t keep pretending.” “I sure it will work out for you, of course it’s a blow at first but I think they will understand, because I would, and if they don’t screw them.” You say chuckling a bit at the end. He just smiles and nods, he’s getting called and as fast as he’s here he is gone again. Always slipping through your hands, you’ve always thought you two were close, but now it seems your worlds apart.

He has to tell you, he knows. After this night he has to, he can’t lose you, he won’t, not without telling you first. It eats him alive, every time he has to cancel on you, yes he is spending time with you as Robin but that is not what he wants. He want to be with you with you knowing who he is, mask or no mask. That’s what he has to do.

Haunted eyes

You tried to forget him, you really did. But everywhere you looked you saw those eyes, eyes that haunted you, even tho you knew he was dead. At first you didn’t believe Bruce but being at Jason’s funeral made it real, your best friend wasn’t ever coming back and hit you like a brick. Oh how you’ve mourned him, it took you a year to come even close to getting better, getting used to a world without him. And now a few years later he’s haunting you, haunting you in your dreams, sometimes it feels like he is watching you, but you know that can’t be true. Cause he is dead. Sill there are eyes watching you.

Bucky knew he wasn’t the same even after all the therapy he went through and all that. But still he hoped he could get a sense of normalcy, even with all he did, and that’s why he is doing what he does. Still there are nights where he fells like he will fall forever in this deep darkness, but he knows you are there to catch him. Even if it means seeing this darkness he will never be able to get rid of. After the events with John Walker, Riga and everything you are still here never leaving him and always there to catch him. He knows he doesn’t deserve this, deserves you, but a small part of him deep down wants you all for himself. And if that means he selfish so be it, for you it is worth it.

And right now seeing you enjoying the sun, being at peak is enough maybe someday he will be able to tell you how he really feels. He knew it for a long time now but after the recent events, after almost losing you he knows he can’t keep quiet any longer. Cause life is so fragile and he can’t lose another person he holds close to his heart. So he will tell you, cause his heart says it is the right thing to do.

He needed this after what happened recently, another fight between him and Bruce about something minimal and it still struck like lightning. Even if he and Bruce didn’t always get along he was his father even if sometimes he forgets it, maybe that’s why he hasn’t introduced you yet. Because he knew he couldn’t bear Bruce not approving of you, even if he himself knew that this was unlikely to happen. He now’s Bruce just wants him to be happy, but sometimes Bruce just agitates him to a point wheee he doesn’t know what to do. He will have to introduce you to his family eventually, but he knows from the moment you meet them you won’t be his alone anymore, you will be part of a complicated family.

So right now standing with you in your kitchen and watching you cook makes him forget about what is to come when you meet his family. “Can you give the paprika seasoning”, he hears you asking, “oh the paprika seasoning, sometimes i think you like paprika to much you put it on everything, not that i am judging tho” he said giving you the spice. He moves back to his spot behind you and leans against the kitchen counter, he loves your cooking and loves watching you just being in your element. He’s aware that his family knows about you, it would be weird if they didn’t after all they are all detectives, they even ask about you from time to time. Before he again gets lost in his thoughts you call out to him, that dinner is ready, meeting his family will be complicated maybe a bit overwhelming for you. But he is certain you will get along well with all of them and earn their respect justo like you earned his.

Before he died Jason thought of many things, he thought of Bruce, his family, his friends, he thought of you. He planned to ask you out as soon as he returned from a Ethiopia, as he layed there waiting for his doom he thought of how he would never be able to live his life to the fullest, to live his life with you.

Jason stands a top of a building, he hasn’t seen you in years, he knows he can’t come to you right now,he has to finish this first. But then hopefully he can come back to you and finish, what he never was able to start. But right now the only thing he can do is watch you, and make sure that nothing happens to you, to finally be there for you after leaving you alone in all of this for so long. He yearns to see you, to really see you and soon it will be time for him to have you.

Yearning is nothing new to you, in the way you watch him with his new girl of the month while you stand by, always by his side ready to catch him after every fall.You were there when he needed you, and he was there when you needed him. But to you, he was much more than just a friend, he was your everything, your first love. Even if it will never be returned.So now you stand there ready to bring an end to your yearning for something that will never be.

He watches as he sees his best friend laughing with the person across from them. Why does his heart ache, he doesn’t know maybe it is because he knows you will now go to someone else for a hug when you need comfort. Maybe it’s because he knows you’re not only his anymore, but were you his from the beginning. But now it is too late to know if there ever even was a chance for you two to begin with.He knows he will miss the quiet moments with you, or the moments where you nerd off about your interest of the month. He will miss you whole, he will miss you with an aching heart. But if you fall he will be there for you, and maybe he can hope that someday he will get his chance.

Cause sitting here and seeing alle the people that you hold close to your little heart is enough to ease the ache in it. Even if you can’t always show your appreciation for them they know that you keep them close to your heart and that is enough for you. Looking around now you feel whole, with the way Jean and Scott look at each other. Or how Ororo laughs at Gambits flirting towards Rouge, or Kurt and jubilee goof off how they should as teenagers. This is wehere your whole, this is where your home and where your family is.
