“shadowy figures appeared before you. apparitions, memories of what once was. reminders of who you’re fighting for. are they your true family, or merely wearing their visage?”
[twohats spoilers below the cut!]
DEATHCARDS!!! WOOO!! that leshy quote isn’t entirely set in stone yet, btw. i made these for a king boss fight i’m working on so realistically he’d be the one narrating? but eh. it’s fun to write in leshy’s voice. anyways, hopefully this won’t be too long?? i’ve got way less design notes this time around, but there’s also 6 cards here and i’m not very succinct. sorry in advance!!
siffrin
2 power - 2 health - 5 bones
loose tail - when a card bearing this sigil would be struck, a tail is created in its place and a card bearing this sigil moves to the right. a tail is defined as: 0 power, 2 health.
steel trap - when a card bearing this sigil perishes, the creature opposing it perishes as well. a pelt is created in your hand.
GOD it was hard to come up with sigils for this one. since these are boss exclusive cards, i had a pretty limited pool to work with… hopefully this is still fitting
loose tail is the closest i could get to a sigil that avoids death, since sigils like unkillable and many lives were off the table. plus, there’s kinda a connection with him not valuing his own life?? and sacrificing a part of himself? i think it works
steel trap!! this sigil is exclusive to the trapper boss fight! since summoned cards (like chimes and tails) inherit sigils, their tail card will also kill whatever’s in front of it when it’s destroyed! sort of a “taking you down with me” situation.
mirabelle
2 power - 5 health - 3 blood
swapper - after a card bearing this sigil is dealt damage, swap its power and health.
Tumblr media
swapper!! this is an act 3 sigil exclusive to swapbot! ahhhhhhhh i had such a hard time trying to figure out another card design for her. i REALLY liked the bellist sigil for her and didn’t really have any other ideas. swapper felt like it fit with the change belief to me! and it also makes her a pretty terrifying card to go up against. since this is a boss card, that cost is basically entirely for show lol
ALT CARD ART!!! YIPEE!! literally all i did was flip her eyes to look angry lol. swapbot’s sprite changes when it swaps so i think hers would too!
isabeau
2 power - 4 health - 2 blood
dam builder - when a card bearing this sigil is played, a dam is created on each empty adjacent space. a dam is defined as: 0 power, 2 health.
fledgling - a card bearing this sigil will grow into a more powerful form after 1 turn on the board.
dam builder feels like a very defensive sigil to me, and it synergizes well with fledgling!! after a turn, isabeau will be doing 5 damage across 3 lanes! good god.
odile
1 power - 2 health - 2 blood
trifurcated strike - a card bearing this sigil will strike each opposing space to the left and right of the spaces across from it as well as the space in front of it.
sharp quills - once a card bearing this sigil is struck, the striker is then dealt a single damage point.
this was the HARDEST card to think up, and probably the weakest out of the bunch imo. i think i really nailed her regular card and i just. couldn’t come up with anything. agonies
i picked trifurcated strike as a reference to her being able to use all three craft types, and sharp quills… i think because of her aversion to touch? i think. it’s been a while since i made these aaaaa
bonnie
1 power - 1 health - 1 blood
waterborne - a card bearing this sigil submerges itself during its opponent's turn. while submerged, opposing creatures attack its owner directly.
leader - creatures adjacent to a card bearing this sigil gain 1 power.
if yall remember the notes on my kid card, this is based on the beta version of that card!! which means that for once i’m not putting bonnie through the torments. hooray!
waterborne is there because they always stay out of danger during battles! plus they’re from a coastal town so it fits on that front as well. i didn’t really think about the actual sigil names for cards this time around but hey! it’s a nice bonus!
the beta card had trinket bearer, but that’s a sigil that would only benefit the player in battle, so i swapped it out with leader! since they can’t be directly attacked, this basically makes them a permanent alpha on the king’s side of the field. also, leader, snack leader, it fits namewise as well!
loop
2 power - 1 health - 4 bones
haunter - when a creature bearing this sigil dies, it haunts the space it died in. creatures played in this space gain its old sigils.
bifurcated strike - A card bearing this sigil will strike each opposing space to the left and right of the space across from it.
“i’m normal about inscryption” i say as i give one of my cards a sigil that only appears in the completely missable rulebook of grimmora’s segment of the finale.
so. haunter! the aforementioned grimmora sigil! this appears on no cards ingame, but cmon. it fits. this sigil reminded me of how loop reacts when you guess that they’re a ghost! in battle, i imagine that siffrin will always get played right behind loop. because twohats
bifurcated strike was added here for the same reason it’s on their normal card! it feels like scissors craft!! i needed them to actually have A Sigil to transfer to siffrin and this felt the most fitting to me.
also, just like the normal cards, siffrin and loop are both the only ones to have a bone cost instead of blood cost! teehee :333
and i think that’s it! i’m not making inhabited versions of these cards because they aren’t meant to be accessible outside of the king fight! also! hi! i drafted this post and wrote siffrin’s segment: almost a month ago! oops!! i kept putting this off… at least it’s actually written out now lol. hope you guys enjoy!!!

you both lay on your shared bed, half-watching a movie on the tv while he played "super mario kart" on his switch. the sudden, loud ringing that pierced through the room interrupted the tranquil moment. cheerfully, you picked up your phone, grinning as you explained to chris.
"i had to set an alarm to book my nail appointment," you said.
chris frowned, his confusion evident. "at 12 in the morning?" he paused his game, turning his full attention to you.
"she's a really busy nail tech, baby," you replied, still tapping away on your phone. chris leaned closer, peering over your shoulder to watch you select a day for your appointment. you couldn't help but giggle at his curious gaze.
"put two," chris mumbled as you reached the part asking for the number of people.
raising an eyebrow, you looked at him. "you want to come with me?"
he smiled, a mix of mischief and affection in his eyes. "i wanna match with you."
your surprise was genuine. "are you serious?" you asked, trying to gauge his sincerity.
"yes," he murmured, kissing you as he moved on top of you, his lips brushing your skin between each word. "i"—kiss—"need"—kiss—"a"—kiss—"part"—kiss—"of"—kiss—"you"—kiss—"with"—kiss—"me"—kiss—"always." you melted under his kisses, your phone momentarily forgotten. his touch was gentle, yet every kiss carried the weight of his affection.
"okay, okay," you laughed, playfully pushing him back just enough to catch your breath. "we'll book two spots."
chris's eyes sparkled with excitement as he watched you confirm the appointment for both of you. he set his Switch aside, the game now a distant memory. "you know," he began, his tone softening, "it's little things like this that make me love you even more."
you looked up at him, your heart swelling with warmth. "matching nails?"
he chuckled, shaking his head. "no, not just that. the way you include me in everything. it makes me feel like i’m really a part of your world."
you reached up to cup his cheek, your thumb brushing against his skin. "you are my world, chris."
he leaned into your touch, his eyes closing briefly as he savoured the moment. when he opened them again, there was a tenderness that took your breath away. "i cannot wait to get my nails all pretty." he exclaimed.
you laughed, snuggling closer to him as he wrapped his arm around you. the warmth of his embrace made you feel secure and cherished.
“what theme should we go for?” you questioned, staring deeply into his deep blue eyes.
“it’s up to you, baby,” chris answered, giggling at your eye roll. he found your attitude amusing, always enjoying your playful banter.
“well, i’ve been really into neutral colors on my nails lately, so maybe we can do this,” you said, pulling out your phone and showing him a picture of nail inspiration from your pinterest. the designs were intricate yet subtle, featuring earthy tones and delicate patterns that spoke of understated elegance.
“i fuck with the patterns,” he answered, leaning closer to the picture to truly encapsulate the nails. the admiration in his eyes was evident, and you loved how supportive he was of your interests.
“of course, your adhd ass enjoys that texture,” you laughed, playfully nudging him. it was one of the things you adored about him—his ability to find joy and fascination in the smallest details.
as the movie played on, its background noise became a soothing soundtrack to your intimate conversation. your focus was entirely on each other, and in that simple, quiet moment, everything felt perfect. the future seemed brighter, and with chris by your side, you knew you could face anything. together , you were unstoppable.
the rest of the night was spent in comfortable silence, punctuated by soft laughter and shared smiles. after the movie ended, you both decided to call it a night. chris put away his switch and you turned off the tv, but the magic of the evening lingered.
“want to make some hot chocolate before bed?” chris suggested, his eyes twinkling with mischief
“that sounds perfect,” you agreed, following him to the kitchen. you watched as he expertly mixed the cocoa powder, milk, and sugar, humming softly to himself. moments like these made you fall in love with him all over again.
once the hot chocolate was ready, you both settled on the couch, savouring the warm, sweet drink. chris pulled you closer, his arm draped protectively around your shoulders.

7. Do You Miss Me?
Pairing: Paige Bueckers x Azzi Fudd
Warnings: None that I know of but please let me know!
a/n: We're kind of approaching the end so please give me requests on what I should write next! Thanks for the love, besties <3 It means more than yous know!
New Years Eve
The balloons and confetti fill the air while bottles of booze litter the table. The UConn Womens’ Basketball team; along with the rest of the UConn athletes, have taken their New Year's festivities to a club. It’s loud and packed. It makes the perfect distraction which is what Azzi needs.
After her nauseating conversation with Caroline, the curly-haired girl was left to face the truth about her relationship with Paige. It’s fragile but teetering. Every interaction pushes it closer to being destroyed; yet it sits on edge, slightly wobbly, but intact. Azzi knows she’s to blame for the current state of their friendship. Though they’ve had rough patches, she never thought it would get this bad. The pair haven’t had a real conversation in weeks; both doing everything they could to avoid the other. In the three conversations they have had, they argue. It’s exhausting, but Azzi is grateful for the disagreements. It means that there’s still some fight left in Paige. Some fight left for them.
Despite how happy she is to be fighting with the blonde, she wishes that they were making up more. The brown-eyed girl has missed her counterpart over the last month. The two don’t have designated time to spend together anymore, don’t go out of their way to borrow the other’s clothes, or simply just cuddle. Azzi misses Paige. It’s not a new concept as their entire friendship is based on missing each other but Azzi is desperate to have the blue-eyed girl near her. She misses the presence of her best friend more than anything.
She wonders if Paige misses her too.
Though she imagines that the blonde-haired girl doesn’t because across the club, Paige is making her way to Cameron. Azzi watches as the football player notices the blonde making her way to him. Azzi watches as she slips into the space next to him; pressing her side into his as his arm snakes around her shoulders protectively.
It’s a nauseating sight that results in Azzi throwing back her shot and quickly ordering another one. And another one. And another one.
“You should slow down,” Caroline says as she sits down next to Azzi. The sentiment, while appreciated, does nothing to deter the curly-haired girl from ordering another shot. She’s being irresponsible, this much she knows, but she needs to forget. She needs to not feel. “It’s New Years Eve. I’m allowed to get drunk.” the girl grumbles out. It’s hard over the music but her teammate hears every word. “You are,” Caroline agrees, “But New Years isn’t why you’re sitting at the bar, drinking alone.”
Azzi turns to face the couple on the other side of the club. She watches as they talk to one of the football player’s teammates. Paige laughs at something and throws her head back. Azzi wonders if Cam loves that sound the way she does. Or does he prefer her giggle that she probably lets out when they engage in banter?
These thoughts and more occupy the curly-haired girl’s mind more than she’d care to admit. The thoughts alone are suffocating but to watch is like dying a thousand deaths. So Azzi doesn’t bother with a response. Instead, she downs her shot before heading to the floor to dance. The younger girl isn’t sure how long. All she knows is that Waka Flocka turned into Pitbull which turned into Lady Gaga. It doesn’t matter though, because Paige is still connected at the hip to Cam, and Azzi still wishes that was her instead.
-
Azzi is drunk. The younger girl is standing in the club bathroom with 30 minutes to midnight trying to get herself together. She came in to use the bathroom but that proved to be difficult when she couldn’t even stand straight. The basketball player eventually got that much figured out but couldn’t really do much else besides hold onto the sink for balance.
The brown-haired girl had just about gotten a hold on herself when a group of girls walk in. Two immediately head towards the big mirror by the sink Azzi is currently occupying. The other two girls head into the stalls but the conversation between the group never falters; which is the only reason Azzi is able identify one the girls as Riley. In fact, the volleyball player is looking at her through the mirror.
Azzi is drunk but she isn’t drunk enough for this. She supposes she can’t be surprised. Riley is a volleyball player and most of the UConn athletes are at this club tonight. Still, seeing your ex that broke up with you because of your feelings for your best friend who you still aren’t with is very uncomfortable. Talking to them even more so.
“Hi, Az-”
“Hey, Rile-”
They both start but before laughing. The tensitiy in the air lessens and the athletes watch as the other’s body relaxes. Suddenly, talking to each other isn’t that bad but then again, it could be the alcohol.
“How are you?” Azzi asks.
“I’m good. How are you? How’s Paige?” Riley replies. The answer must reveal itself on Azzi’s face though, because the volleyball player’s eyes widen before she snaps her head in the direction of the taller girl. “You aren’t together?”
The basketball player shakes her head no and Riley’s eyes widen even more. “Listen, I know I said a lot of things that night but I never would have imagined that you two didn’t figure it out.” Azzi laughs in response. “Well, it doesn’t help that she asked if I have feelings for her and I walked out of her apartment.” The statement earns her a slap on the arm and a scolding from the shorter athlete next to her.
“Why would you do that? It’s obvious that you do!”
“I’m scared,” Azzi starts. Perhaps it’s the alcohol that allows her to be this open because her next words have never been spoken. “I’m fucking terrifed of loving her. I’m terrified of her loving me. Every single time I look into her eyes, she’s got these intense emotions pooling in them and I don’t know how to handle that. Paige looks at me like I’m her forever. She looks at melike I can hang the stars and the moon. Fuck, she’s just so intense and sometimes I worry about it being too much. Sometimes I worry about being too little.”
“You’re a coward, a liar, and a thief.” Riley states. She says it even toned and softly as if all three of those words were not insults of some kind.
“Excuse me?” Azzi exclaims. The insult clearly catching her off guard.
“It’s the truth,” Riley shrugs. “You’re a coward, a liar, and a thief. Until you begin to work on that, allowing yourself to be happy will be hard. You’re self sabotaging and you don’t even know it.”
The basketball player isn’t exactly sure how to respond. She watches as her ex moves toward the bathroom door before turning around.
“Once you figure it out, I hope you get everything you want.” and then she’s out the door. Azzi shakes her head and checks her phone for the time. She tries not to give what Riley said another thought, at least not while she’s this intoxicated.
There’s five minutes until midnight.
Azzi walks out of the bathroom and heads towards the section occupied by her teammates, and Cam. A bitter feeling creeps up Azzi’s throat and invades her senses. Would Paige kiss him at midnight? It’s a thought that produces sickening images in the younger girls’ mind. Though as she reaches the section, all she can hear is her ex’s voice in the back of her mind.
I hope you get everything you want.
While she isn’t sober enough to work out whatever Riley thinks she needs to, Azzi can accept that she should after whatever she wants. It is a new year afterall.
The words repeat themselves as the girls flood the floor along with the other athletes to start the countdown. Azzi can feel the tequila and adrenaline pumping through her veins as she watches Paige separate herself from the football player to be with their friends.
10
Should she do it? Azzi thinks she passes through the club to get to Paige.
9
Maybe she shouldn’t. She continues walking anyway.
8
Coward. Azzi gets closer.
7
Liar. And closer.
6
I hope you get everything you want this year.
5
They’re standing face to face.
4
Azzi pulls Paige closer.
3
“What are you doing?” Paige exclaimed
2
“Getting everything I want”
1
Happy New Year!
Azzi crashes her lips onto Paige.

As of Batman: The Brave and the Bold #12, local precious-gremlin-who-I-would-die-for, Maps Mizoguchi, is now officially(?) the sixth Robin. Or at the very least, she's now "in" on The Secret™.
If this isn’t a set up for her taking up the Robin mantle officially then I genuinely don’t know what is.
As one of the twelve Gotham Academy enjoyers in existence, I am having the extremely normal reaction of "FUCKING FINALLY! LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO--!"
Tumblr media
In all honesty, I'd be lying if I said I hadn't seen this coming from miles away. Like, Maps has appeared in a number of seemingly random cameo roles recently, including Batgirls (2021), and even technically as Robin in the backup issues of Batman (2016) #119-121, and in a short story in Batman Black & White. And most of those got collected in a standalone titled "Maps of Mystery", which specifically gathered all her appearances as Robin (and the Gotham Academy Belle Reve story).
And then, of course, her recent time-travelling Future-Trunks-esque appearance in Birds of Prey (2023), as the tech-based Meridian, from a potential future timeline where she apparently makes it as a superhero using gadgets she apparently designed, proving that she's hero material.
Tumblr media
That's not something you do for a character for no reason. That's the sort of thing you do when you want to keep a character in the conscience of your readers for whatever reason, because you have bigger plans for them.
Also interesting to consider that, in the "Mother's Day" story where this took place, Alfred is standing right there and not lying down six feet under wood, dirt and a stone slab, and that Bruce is in the old Batcave under the manor so he still has Money™. So we must assume this was some nebulous time in the past (after GA: Second Semester(?), but before City of Bane)... which I won't bother to analyse the exact timeframe of because DC doesn't care about the post-Flashpoint / New 52 / Rebirth / Prime Earth / idfk / Dawn of DC timeline, so neither should I.
But I think it's really funny that this presumably means Maps has known The Secret™ for a long time relative to present-day comics, but always acted like she didn't.
But if all her appearances are in chronological order, that means Bruce is only the fourth Bat whose identity she discovered.
Like, she discovered Cass' identity almost by accident on a trip to the zoo, Damian showed off his grapple gun and gave her an actual Batarang during the three hours he was enrolled in the school (as if she wouldn't immediately put two-and-two together even back then), and she even found out Terry fucking McGuinness would become Batman in a future via a time-travelling grandfather clock.
No I did not make that last part up. Read Gotham Academy istg.
Did Cass know that Maps had been acting as a Robin when she met her, both at the zoo in Batgirls and her future version in Birds of Prey?
Does Damian know the one (1) friend(?) he made in Gotham Academy is potentially in the running for his job?
Is Bruce himself aware that she knows as much about their identities as she currently does?
How is DC going to retcon this so it all makes sense in the barely-functioning canon of the modern DC universe?
I'm digressing. Where was I going with this?
Point is, she's destined to become a Robin, and I'm glad DC finally pulled their fingers out their asses and capitalised on that destiny.
Let's just hope it doesn't take another year for them to follow up on this plotline again.
Bonus: Jason Todd, after learning of Bruce taking yet another happy kid under his wing as yet another Robin, giving her some advice:

Hope you enjoy!
Bot Buddy the Old Predacon slice of life
SFW, Platonic, Familial, Cybertronain reader
TFP
It had been a rather busy month on base.
After the latest Decepticon mining activity, all the Autobots were on edge and running around like crazy.
Buddy mainly took care of the humans while everyone was busy on base. They swear if they didn’t have such an eye sore of an alt mode, they would pick up the kids instead of having to remind some of them to do it themselves.
Buddy lumbering around the console behind Bulkhead.
“Bulkhead? What are you still doing here?”--Buddy
“What do you mean?”--Bulkhead
“Bulkhead why isn’t Miko here? Is she sick?”--Buddy
“She at school today.”--Bulkhead
“Bulkhead its Saturday. Miko doesn’t have school.”--Buddy
“…”--Bulkhead
Bulkhead transforms quickly and drives out.
Buddy shaking their helm at Ratchet.
“Kids these days.”--Buddy
“You said it.”--Ratchet
“You count too Ratchet.”--Buddy
Ratchet raises an optic at Buddy and vents a bit.
“You may be old by these young bots but don’t forget I’m the eldest here.”--Buddy
“Yet you try to do things a young bot would. It’s not good for your joints.”--Ratchet
Buddy gentle flicks Ratchet in the back of the helm with their tail.
“My frame allows some extra movement.”--Buddy
Buddy stretches their arm.
SQUEAK!
“…”—Buddy and Ratchet
“…Buddy—”--Ratchet
“Not a word Ratchet. Not. A. Word.”--Buddy
Buddy knew that entertaining the kids with stories was only going to go so far. Especially when their guardians could stay with each of the children for long.
It was frankly getting on Buddy’s nerves.
It finally reached their limit when Movie Night came around.
The kids had gotten permission to spend the night at the base.
The original plan was to have a movie night with everyone.
Just some quality time with one another catching up on everything.
But it looked like most of them had forgotten about it.
Buddy didn’t like this. At. All.
And their spark broke a little seeing their disappointed faces.
Buddy looking down at the kids.
“Kids meet me at the exit with the gear.”--Buddy
“The gear?”--Jack
“Yes, you which one I’m talking about. Meet me over by the exit, we’ll have that Movie Night when we are done with it.”--Buddy
Once the kids came with the gear, Buddy knelt and had them climb on using their magnetic seatbelts.
These were almost light the Earth car seats but they were specially designed to be placed on Buddy via magnets.
Nothing was going to peel them away from Buddy until the end of any trip.
As soon as everyone was ready Buddy shot upwards.
Did they scare the kids a bit?
Yes, but it was worth it.
Buddy flying through the night sky.
“You seem pretty fast for an old timer.”--Miko
Buddy huffs a bit.
“This old timer still has a few tricks up their metaphoric sleeve.”--Buddy
“Buddy.”--Jack
“But you shouldn’t fly too fast, you can pull something.”--Raf
“Buddy.”--Jack
“Oh, my sweet Rafael, I’m spry for my age.”--Buddy
“Buddy!”--Jack
“Yes Jack?”--Buddy
Jack points forwards.
“Predaking!”--Jack
Buddy wasn’t too bothered by the sight of Predaking.
But they might have forgotten how the kids didn’t know the other predacon like they had.
Soon the two Predacon’s were flapping their wings circling each other.
The clouds around them slowly formed around them.
Through a series of clicks and roars the two talked.
‘Buddy.’--Predaking
‘Predaking, how are you? It’s been too long.’--Buddy
‘Fine Buddy. How are you faring with the enemy.’--Predaking
Buddy huffing.
‘They are not the enemy of mine, Predaking. I’ve told you before.’--Buddy
Predaking’s turn to huff.
‘There’s a reason you wanted to talk isn’t there?’--Buddy
‘…You know me too well.’--Predaking
‘I would be an awful ‘grandparent’, as the humans say. At least that’s how I remember the saying.’--Buddy
Predaking huffs.
‘I have been considering… leaving the Decepticons.’--Predaking
Buddy raising their optics.
‘You have?’--Buddy
‘Yes.’--Predaking
‘I can put a good word in with the Auto—’--Buddy
‘No. At least… not now…’--Predaking
Buddy nods.
‘You still need time. I understand. Just let me know, okay?’--Buddy
Predaking nods and flies the other way.
Buddy huffs a bit.
“What.”--Jack
“Was.”--Raf
“That!”--Miko
“Oh yeah I forgot you don’t understand the clicks yet.”--Buddy
“Yet?”—Raf
“I will teach you three one day.”—Buddy
“Sick.”—Miko
“What did he want?”--Jack
“He just wanted to talk, nothing more.”--Buddy
They continued their flight before it was time to go back to base.
As Buddy touched down, they could see some of the Autobots come out of the base to see what was going on.
Buddy simply walked inside with the kids still on their back.
Buddy kneeling down so the kids could get down and take the gear off.
“Where were you four?”--Arcee
“Flying around Arcee. It can get stuffy in here.”--Buddy
“You know that someone could have spotted you?”--Arcee
“I am fully aware of that Arcee. I think with one of the largest alt modes here, I’d keep that in mind.”—Buddy
“Then why—"--Arcee
Buddy stands back up to full height.
“I do believe that there was a ‘Movie Night’ that you all needed to attend.”—Buddy
Buddy stretches a bit.
POP!
SQUEAK!
PANG!
“…”—Everyone
“…I’m old, okay. Haven’t you all heard of joints popping?”--Buddy
“Yes, but not like that.”--Bulkhead
Buddy lays down near the projector.
The kids follow with their blankets and pillows.
“Beep boop bop bep? (Do you need to see Ratchet?)”--Bumblebee
“I’m fine. Now let’s watch the movie the children have chosen.”—Buddy
Team Prime give Buddy a side eye, but ultimately gives in.
The Autobots crowd around the projector to watch the movie into the late hours of the night.
Buddy looks around, just happy to have a family together.

It had started as a joke.
A passing comment one night. You’d been going back and forth about non-existent sex lives and your own lacklustre suitors, holed up in a tiny dive bar, several glasses deep with your boss whilst laughing and teasing one another in a way that anyone else overseeing might call inappropriate for a work outing.
Except a joke usually stays as just that: a silly thing spoken once between friends that isn’t mentioned again. This, however, has never quite been put to bed.
“Maybe if you kept one head busy, you wouldn’t lose the other so quickly,” is all you’d said that night, grinning up at him from where you’d been slouched across the table. A cheeky jibe with only a gentle heat behind it.
“And what makes you think that’s a problem I'd have?” Reigen had scoffed around his cigarette, affronted like he’d never mentioned his own virginity to you in a shy, drunken confession several months ago. You’re not even sure he remembers doing it.
Wary to bring it up again for fear of spoiling the mood, you’d shrugged. “You just strike me as the type.”
Reigen had laughed, a little too loudly and a little too forcefully. “As if someone like me would do that. I get plenty of practice, I can hold out for hours, thank you very much.”
The lie had been blatant and every time you think back on it, you’re certain Reigen had to have known how obvious he’d sounded, and yet…. The topic has come up at least twice since and every time, Reigen has pushed for you to take it back, and without fail you’ve always refused.
Again, today, Reigen had made an unprovoked comment about his outstanding prowess and, as is your nature, you’d been unable to help throwing out a teasing call out of his Loudest Man in the Room routine alongside a half-hopeful bet of him barely making it ten minutes.
And, as is Reigen’s nature, he’d snapped back with yet another poorly thought through comment: “Well if you’re so fucking sure, why don’t you come find out for yourself?”
Which is why, on a rainy Wednesday evening, close to the end of office hours, you’re spending the last quarter of your day on the cold tiles of the shop floor with your boss’ cock buried deep in your throat.
You’re tucked neatly under his desk, hidden from view of the unlocked, slightly open office door as you work him with your mouth, spit slick on your lips and rapidly coating the hand that you hold the base of his cock steady with.
Reigen’s legs are spread wide in order to nestle you between them, the heels of his cheap loafers digging into the ground, desperate for purchase to counter the sliding wheels of his desk chair.
He’s been doing his best to keep himself under control for the better part of the entire two minutes that you’ve been down here and he’s been failing miserably. His grip on the desk’s edge is white knuckled, his breathing laboured and ragged between his low groans, and when you open your eyes slightly to check on him, the poor thing looks wrecked already.
His face is bright red and there’s sweat on his brow like he’s run a mile. Reigen’s gaze is glassy with pleasure, looking right through you until he senses your eyes on his and that famous charade comes crashing back down like it always does.
“Not so-“ A gasp of breath. “Not so smart now, huh?” He chokes out, mouth twitching up into a mean grin.
You’ve never rolled your eyes mid-blow job before, but Reigen often manages to bring out the worst of your impatience and this is no different. He’s utterly unbearable. You absolutely must make him cum.
Swiftly, you release him from your throat to pull off up to the head of his cock before you swirl your tongue wickedly around the most sensitive part of him, and Reigen moans loudly, high pitched and pathetic, his wise-crack dying in his throat.
The buckle of his belt jingles as his hips twitch forward and you hold his thighs tightly to still him. This is your turn to get back at him, no matter how much he thinks he’s in charge here. He grows impossibly harder in your mouth and you can tell, instantly, that he’s going to blow his load any second now.
You can taste the sweat on his skin, the salt of it mixing with the growing pre-cum on the head of his cock, and your eyes fall closed in pleased preparation: both for the mouthful to follow and the gloating rights you’ll have for the next week or so. You’re not going to let this go for a long-
The phone on the desk rings, shrill and loud.
Reigen jolts so suddenly that you almost gag on him and your eyes fly open in shock to meet his. For a second, you still, sharing a look of mutual surprise. Technically you’re still on the clock: it’s quarter to five and you’re not due to shut for another fifteen minutes, but it isn’t often that you get a client so close to the end of play.
The phone continues to bleat about its annoying presence and slowly, Reigen’s look of surprise shifts into one of flustered cunning. A lopsided smirk grows on his reddened mouth and he visibly steels himself before he reaches one hand out towards the phone.
“Keep my head busy, right?” He breathes, smug and slightly relieved, and abruptly you realise he’s about to checkmate you with your own suggestion.
You go to pull off of him, to talk him out of it, but Reigen is in his element when he thinks he’s got the upper hand. There’s not much that can stop him and before you can even lift up halfway, his free hand finds your hair, fingers tangling in it tightly, and he pushes your head back down.
It’s firm but gentle, and in spite of his cavalier attitude, his know-it-all masquerade, the look in Reigen's eyes conveys a soft request for permission. A hint of affection simmers under his obnoxious front. It’s so unexpected that it makes your stomach flutter and you offer no resistance to his half-demand, sinking back down and taking him with ease. You'd rather hand him the advantage than have to examine that feeling too deeply right now.
Reigen clears his throat and snatches up the phone, clicking the little answer button and launching straight into his preferred persona. “Spirits and Such Consultation,” he says, voice only slightly wobbly. “How can I help?”
You can hear the customer on the phone say something, their words garbled through the receiver, and Reigen hums in acknowledgment. His eyes lock with yours again and as requested, you return to your work.
You move your head slowly to begin with. If Reigen wants to be a smart ass about things, why shouldn’t you torture him a little bit? As far as you’re aware, this is his first blow job: it would be terrible to leave him with a disappointing impression, after all. Might as well set the bar high.
Every pass of your wet mouth is agonisingly slow, drool slipping from the corners of your lips as you lave spit across every inch of his cock. Reigen isn’t impressively endowed by any means: he’s perfectly average, in fact, but it allows you to be enthusiastic in your affection. You can take him deep and hold him there without too much trouble, and it gives you a bit of an advantage even though he’s trying his best to outlast your efforts.
You bob your head up and down slowly, watching him with fond amusement as he attempts to keep himself together for the sake of professional dignity.
“I’d be happy to help,” he says, a little strained. “Spirits and Such prides itself on always going the distance.” A smirk ghosts across his face, evidently tickled by his own joke, and you’re not sure how it’s possible for someone to be so fucking annoying even mid-coitus.
Clueless, the customer thanks him profusely and launches into a chatty over-explanation of their problem. Reigen clearly isn’t listening to a damn word the guy is saying: every fibre of his being is directed into hiding the fact that he’s on the receiving end of a thorough blow job from his secretary.
You decide that the best way to get a little own-back on him is to mirror his game. Reigen likes to be a show off and although you can never even dream of getting close to his level of showmanship, you’re happy to try. With a vulgar smack, you release his cock from your mouth and press a coy kiss to the tip, your tongue chasing it with sloppy attention and the hand that you hold him steady begins to work the soaked base in time with your tongue, the motion squelching quietly with every talented twist of your wrist.
Reigen exhales heavily through his nose and bites down on his lower lip with a shudder, unable to look away despite the client still droning on in his ear, and this time it’s your turn to offer a prideful grin.
Making a show of it, you run your tongue up and down the underside of the head slowly, the saliva allowing your lips to glide along the skin in a tantalising tease of movement, and just as Reigen opens his mouth to respond to the customer with a meaningless affirmative, you take his full length back into your mouth in one fluid motion, all the way to the base with practised ease.
Reigen’s hope of playing it cool is scuppered instantly and he fails to catch the pathetic little sob that tumbles from his mouth. His fingers tighten in your hair, pulling the strands so hard that your scalp burns and tears prickle the corners of your eyes.
“Fuck!” Reigen gasps, one knee banging the desk as he convulses forward violently.
The client on the phone says something and Reigen scrambles to save some face: “So sorry!” He chokes out, not sounding anything of the sort. “Emergency in the office! Call you right back!” And then he’s hanging up, tossing the phone onto the desk and gripping your hair with both hands.
He rocks his hips up once, twice, and then he’s cumming hard down your throat with a broken and outrageously lewd moan.
You’re prepared for his reaction and you swallow around him, happily taking whatever he has to offer and staying put even when some of it trickles from the corner of your eager mouth, ruining the front of your blouse. A consummate  professional, through and through.
When it’s clear he’s done, you reach up to extricate his fingers from your head and Reigen slumps back in his chair, letting you go without argument.
A mix of drool and cum trails from your lips to his cock as you push his chair backwards to give yourself room, wetness dripping down your chin, and you wipe your mouth with the back of your hand.
Reigen, panting hard and splayed out in his seat, rubs the sweat from his brow. “Fuck,” he says again, swallowing thickly and trying to catch his breath. “Fuck.”
You laugh quietly at his debauched state, entertained by his frustration, and glance toward the clock. “That was like, four minutes,” you say, and it’s hard not to sound proud about the achievement. “I win.”
Avoiding your gaze, Reigen grimaces at the wetness on the crotch of his slacks and huffs. “That’s not fair,” he mutters, ears red. “And you used your hand too, that’s cheating. It doesn’t count.”
This guy is a fucking nightmare. “Don’t be a sore loser,” you smirk, climbing to your feet and ignoring the creaking of your knees.
Despite his soiled suit, Reigen tucks himself away and buckles his belt again without comment. His unusual silence belies his embarrassment. Once he’s a little more decent, he casts a glance your way and gives you a once over, nose slightly wrinkled.
You’re expecting him to say thanks, maybe even offer to return the favour, but instead he stretches out one long leg and kicks you gently on the ass, encouraging you to step out from behind his desk.
“You’re a mess,” he quips, as though he doesn’t look like he’s just emptied almost every fibre of his being down your neck. “Clean yourself up. I gotta call this guy back.”
You stumble aside, gaping at his unbelievable (yet admittedly unsurprising) gall. Every time Reigen opens his mouth, you’re always amazed at how well he manages to push your buttons, and just as you start across the room, tongue bitten to hold back a snarky remark, Reigen calls your name.
You glance back to where he’s sitting, his feet kicked up on his desk, the picture of his usual charismatic, jerk-off self, the phone pressed to his ear. “It was six minutes, actually,” Reigen says matter-of-factly as the line rings. “And you owe me ramen for cheating.”
Before you can even think of responding, the client answers on the other end of the phone and Reigen shifts back into his salesman’s spiel, effortlessly slipping into character as though nothing unusual has occurred.
“Terribly sorry about that,” he apologises, trying hard not to smile at the mess on the front of your shirt. He meets your eyes and winks, charming and cheeky. “Something unexpected came over my secretary.”
Asshole.

“So when are you introducing me?”
The buzz of visitors inside the convention hall is already grating enough as it is, but when Mingyu walks over to Wonwoo’s designated booth, all it does is irritate him further.
He doesn’t exactly have to do anything aside from receive gifts from the viewers coming to pay him a visit, and take a few photos with them, but Wonwoo is yet to accustom himself to being the center of attraction in front of so many people. So having to listen to his roommate-slash-best friend asking him stupid questions isn’t exactly helping his case.
“To who? My family?” Wonwoo scoffs.
Mingyu rolls his eyes. “No. Your girlfriend, genius.”
“What the hell are you even talking about?”
His best friend pouts and Wonwoo is having a really tough time taking him seriously because Mingyu is wearing one of those hats with bunny ears that flop around if you press the buttons dangling from the front. “You’re always scampering off with some girl from time to time. The others haven’t noticed, but I’m your roommate, hyung.”
“What gave you the impression that I’m ‘scampering off’ with just one girl, though?” Wonwoo smirks, shaking his head.
Roughly three months have passed since Wonwoo bit the bullet and agreed to be your…fuck buddy? Not-so-friend with benefits? Whatever this arrangement is called, he’s satisfied with getting to let off steam every once in a while, and you don’t seem to have any complaints as long as he fucked you stupid and helped you make filthy content for all the world to see.
Honest to god, it’s a miracle how shit hasn’t hit the fan yet. But then again, you and Wonwoo were both careful and extremely selective about what gets posted on your secret Twitter porn account, and what stays tucked away in the hidden galleries in your phones. That sort of cautiousness is rewarded with having to get away with everything you’re both daring enough to pull off behind the scenes.
Still, it doesn’t change the fact that, outside his sexual relations with you, Twitch streamers everyone_woo and Koyahngi pretty much hate each other’s guts. Even if yours is the best fucking pussy he’s ever had (something you’ll never catch him dead admitting aloud), he’s not about to do a complete one-eighty degrees and treat you any differently in front of his friends and followers. You don’t seem to have any plans on doing that either.
Wonwoo hasn’t once brought you to their shared apartment, so he’s certain that Mingyu is basing all his hunches off pure intuition alone. And just because that intuition turns out to be somewhat right (PSA: you’re not his girlfriend), doesn’t mean Wonwoo has to come clean about his goings-on.
Besides, they’re at a fucking convention. Why is Mingyu trying to hotseat him now?
“Whatever you say, elusive gamer who hasn’t felt the touch of a woman that isn’t his mom.”
“Fuck you, you know that’s not true.”
“Well, obviously, you’re smitten with someone, and once I find out who it is, I’m throwing the biggest party in Seoul,” Mingyu says with a huff of indignance coloring his words. He says it like it’s a threat, and Wonwoo makes a face at him.
“Why?” he asks with a scowl.
“Because I love you, that’s why.” Mingyu then takes off the stupid hat and places it on top of Wonwoo’s head—even putting the work into making sure it fits and everything. “Anyway, I’m heading off to Koyahngi’s booth to say hi. You wanna come with or do you still have a stick up your ass when it comes to hanging out with her?”
Wonwoo has to keep himself from blurting out how he’s not the one with anything up his ass when it comes to you, but realizes that if he wants to get Mingyu off his back, he probably shouldn’t make traumatizing allusions to his sex life.
“I can’t exactly leave my spot until the main program starts. The same goes for you, idiot,” Wonwoo points out. “Who knows how many of your subscribers are looking for you at your booth? Go away and tend to them first.”
Mingyu pouts again, but since his best friend is a guy that’s literally a six-foot wall of muscle, Wonwoo doesn’t feel even an ounce of sympathy for him. “I haven’t even been gone for ten minutes! I just wanted to see how my friends are doing.”
“Then you shouldn’t have set up a booth at all, Gyu.”
“Hmph. You’re always so stingy, hyung.” Mingyu crosses his arms before turning on his heel. “Anyway, I’m heading over to Koyahngi’s. I heard she’s cosplaying Sage today. Not that you care though.”
He sounds so genuinely sulky that Wonwoo would’ve laughed a little as Mingyu stomps away to head to your booth. But the mention of you dressing up as a Valorant agent that Wonwoo has started to despise since meeting you makes a couple of memories from earlier this week resurface in his mind.
Aside from the catgirl gimmick, your cosplays are but another selling point for your streams. You dubbed it the catgirlification of every playable character I like right after Wonwoo railed you two days ago in that same Sage cosplay that Mingyu just mentioned.
What a fucking weirdo, Wonwoo mused for a second before blowing your back out again not five minutes later.
About an hour later, the program on the main stage was in full swing, and Wonwoo just finished doing a little segment with Soonyoung that one of the fans who won a raffle requested for them to do. It was a Pocky Game that got a little too intense because Soonyoung wouldn’t stop fucking squirming, and they nearly kissed in front of the entire audience. Wonwoo doesn’t entirely mind because PR is PR, after all.
The thing he does end up minding, though, comes a little later—after the convention hall settles into a more relaxed atmosphere and everyone is back to booth-hopping.
Despite what he told Mingyu earlier, Wonwoo took it upon himself to do some wandering around. It’s kind of nice to see other streamers and content creators he’s only ever got to interact with on Discord or their respective streams.
But while he’s munching on a cherry-shaped cookie that Seungcheol is handing out to his visitors, the bane of his existence swoops down on him just when he thought he could finish this entire event in peace.
“Hey, daddy,” you giggle into his ear before swiping the cookie out of his hands, tossing it into your mouth without a second thought. “Didn’t think I’d get to see you today.”
Wonwoo clicks his tongue before shrugging off the arm you draped around his shoulder. “What do you want?”
“Nothing in particular,” you hum before swallowing the food you just stole from him. “But now that I got a taste of Cheol’s cherry cookies, I kinda want some more. Do you know where he is?”
“I think I saw him flirting with a bunch of cosplayers near the stage.”
Wonwoo startles at the sound of a third party’s voice intruding in your conversation, and from the looks of it, you’re just as startled as he is. Turning around, though, his apprehension ebbs away when he recognizes who it is.
“Johnny,” he says with a small surprised smile before offering his hand for a casual shake. “It’s been a while.”
The famous streamer returns Wonwoo’s gesture gingerly, but he realizes that Johnny’s gaze isn’t trained on him at all.
“It has been,” he chuckles before turning to you. “I didn’t know you were friends with Wonwoo, doll. How you got someone as cold as he is to warm up to you is beyond me, but at least you’re expanding your network.”
Wonwoo would’ve rolled his eyes. Johnny is just as frank as he remembers. But before Wonwoo can point out that: 1.) you and him are not friends; and 2.) he is not a cold person, and therefore has absolutely no need to warm up to anyone, he quickly picks up on the sudden shift in the air. And it’s not his or Johnny’s discomfort he’s sensing right now.
“Nah, you’ve got the wrong idea,” you respond to Johnny casually, but Wonwoo doesn’t miss how your fists are clenched at your sides. “Wonwoo would rather get banned from Twitch than call me his friend. I just like pissing him off every now and again is all~ That, and his friends are pretty cool, so I need to tolerate him.”
Johnny laughs before reaching down to ruffle your carefully styled wig. To others, it would’ve looked like a display of casual affection between friends, but Wonwoo is keen enough to notice how you momentarily flinched from the older streamer’s touch. His brows knit together as he attempts to figure out what was going on.
Actually, how do you even know Johnny in the first place?
“Anyway, I’ll be going now,” he laughs before letting one eye drop into a wink. “It’s good to see both of you. Enjoy the rest of the convention, yeah?”
As Johnny makes his exit, you’re a little too quick to fill in the silence that he left.
“You’ve gotta take me to Cheol before he runs out of cookies,” you whine, tugging on his arm with a persistent look on his face—not even breathing a word about Johnny, as if it hasn’t been two minutes since he left. “I’m pretty sure I saw him wearing a Pikachu onesie, so he should be easy to—”
Wonwoo immediately cuts you off with a quick yank of your wrist. As he leads you to one of the unoccupied restrooms near the convention hall, your voice drones in annoyingly repetitive succession in his ears while you struggle to free yourself from his grip, but Wonwoo just won’t budge.
Not when he can’t get the sight of you with genuine fear in your gaze when you first laid your eyes on Johnny out of his head.
“Shit,” you whisper hoarsely the moment Wonwoo slams you against the door—a shit-eating grin resting haughtily on your lips as he nudges your thighs apart. “I knew you were possessive, but not this much. Johnny just gave me a few headpats, daddy. It doesn’t mean a thing.”
Yeah. Wonwoo is totally doing this out of some pathetic, alpha male need to stake his claim after another man got his grubby hands on you. Not because he was bothered by that look on your face, and can’t think of any other way to help get your mind off it aside from fucking you senseless in a public bathroom.
“Shut up,” he murmurs before forcing your cheek against the cold door. “Now take off your leggings before I tear a hole in it myself. Can’t mess up your perfect fucking Sage cosplay now, can we?”
You let out a noise caught between a sigh and a whimper as you do as you're told. From three months ago to now, your general opinion on Jeon Wonwoo as a dom has yet to change. Even if he was about to rail you with a fluffy bunny beanie still resting on top of his head.
He’s fucking perfect.

How about a Wanda x blachill daughter!reader.
We are about on a mission and when we come back we see that the team is acting as if they don’t know us, even Wanda, Nat and Maria. We try to talk to them but they act rude and try to kick us out. We investigate and ee that there was an attack on the compound (maybe a gas or something that made them forget about us) so we have to fight for them to remember us.
Also I hope you are having a great day!

-------------------------------------------------------------
You’d been on this mission for days, and while you were proud Fury finally entrusted you with a solo mission (and your moms finally let you go) you were desperate to get back to the compound and curl up on the couch with your girlfriend and a steaming mug of hot chocolate.
The mission had been successful overall, almost suspiciously easy, you thought. There weren’t a lot of reasons the mission would be a setup though. Even though it was easy, you weren’t ambushed or anything.
After the mission finally ended, and the Hydra base was successfully taken down, you returned to the compound. You couldn’t wait to hug your moms, and kiss Wanda.
When you walked into the compound, you got some weird looks from the security guards, but they didn’t bother you as you knew the elevator code so you didn’t mind them. When you reached your floor, you walked into the living area, expecting at least Wanda to be there.
“Who let the kid in?” you suddenly heard Tony ask from beside you.
You turned around and looked at him funny. “I let myself in?” you told him questioningly. “This isn’t a daycare,” Tony told you, walking past you without taking his eyes off you.
“I know,” you told him, walking to the kitchen to grab some water. “Have you been here before?” you suddenly heard Wanda ask. You turned around a little startled. “What do you mean?” you asked her confused. “All the cupboards look the same, yet you know where the glasses are.”
“Is this some kind of joke?” you asked Tony unamused, and he just looked at you weirdly.
“You should leave,” he told you. “I live here!” you replied annoyed, but Tony didn’t budge.
“We got a new member?” you heard a familiar voice ask. You turned around and saw Natasha. “Mama? What the hell is going on?” you asked her confused. She looked at you confused, and took a step back with her arms up.
“I don’t know who the hell you are, but I’m not your mother,” she told you. “What are you talking about? If this is a joke I really don’t find it funny,” you told her, but she just shook her head.
“Where’s mom?” you asked her, but she just shook her head again.
“You really have to leave now, or I’ll call security,” Tony stated, fishing his phone from his pocket to emphasize his point.
You look at your mom with tears in your eyes, turning to Wanda next. She just looked at you, just as confused as your mom was. Hesitantly you turned around, leaving the common area and walking to the elevator.
That same night, you returned to the compound, slipping through the windows of your room and going through it. How could they not know you when your entire room was still intact?
You went through your stuff, finding your laptop and starting it up.
You activated your personal AI, asking it what happened to the compound while you were gone. There appeared to have been a gas leak. The gas was toxic, and especially designed to erase you from the memories of the Avengers. It was synthesized by Hydra, which explained why the mission was so easy. The mission was indeed a setup to ensure you’d be out of the compound so Hydra could erase you from your family’s mind.
You spend the rest of the night researching for a possible cure. When you found it, you realized you would have to return to the Hydra base again.
You were quick to suit up, never having changed out of your mission tactical suit in the first place, and headed to the Hydra base.
Once you got there it was cold. The Hydra base looked abandoned, just like how you left it. You went inside quietly anyway, not wanting to take any unnecessary risks. You quickly found the computer room, using it to search for any documents on the gas and the antidote.
When you found it, you went to the laboratory, going through all the cabinets. Once you found the odd looking, green gas, you stuffed all of it in your bag, taking it with you.
When you exited the lab, however, there were a bunch of Hydra agents, waiting to attack you.
They jumped you and took you completely by surprise. You managed to fight them off, mostly without injury. You had a few scratches and bruises littering your face and arms, but you couldn’t care less. All you cared about was getting back to the Avengers tower as quickly as possible. You were desperate for a hug from your mothers.
Once you snuck back into the tower, Jarvis immediately alerted the Avengers of your presence. How Jarvis could possibly be affected by the gas was beyond you.
The Avengers jumped into action, ready to fight you if you made any unsuspected moves.
“She’s Hydra,” you suddenly heard Steve say. You looked at your bag carrying the antidote gas and cursed yourself for using it when it had such an obvious Hydra logo on it.
You closed your eyes and sighed, before turning to look at the Avengers standing in front of you. You raised your hands, wanting to prove you weren’t a threat. “I’m not Hydra, I swear,” you told them. “That’s exactly what a Hydra agent would say,” Natasha replied, raising her gun at you.
You took a step back in surprise, not knowing what they were capable of when they didn’t remember you. “I can prove it!” you said quickly, keeping your hands up.
“Start talking,” Natasha replied, loading her gun.
“There’s a photo album on your phone filled with pictures of me,” you told her, and the grip on her gun faltered slightly. “Why would there be?” she asked you. “Because you are my mother, Hydra just made you forget,” you told her, silently praying she believed you.
She slowly lowered her gun, making eye contact with Wanda to silently tell her to watch you. Natasha pulled her phone from her pocket, unlocking it and quickly opening her gallery app.
She took a bit taken back, her eyes alternating between looking at her phone screen and looking at you. “It’s impossible. I can’t have children,” she told you slowly, and you lowered your hands. “You adopted me when I was 5. My parents had abandoned me on the side of the road like garbage. I went from foster home to foster home until you took me in…” you explained to her, taking a step closer.
“I can make you remember. Please let me help you remember,” you begged her, reaching for your bag. Tony raised his hand in your direction, a silent threat to not try anything stupid.
Natasha slowly nodded, and you showed her the green gas.
“You were poisoned with some weird gas while I was out on a mission. I went back to the Hydra base to find the antidote, hence the bag,” you explained to her, watching as she carefully took the vial. “How do I know you’re not trying to kill me?” she asked you.
“Spray it on me first.”
Natasha was hesitant as she raised her hand holding the vial, and she carefully pressed the button. You were sprayed with the green gas, and it stung in your eyes. You blinked a few times, but that was it.
“See? I’m fine. Now please let me help you remember,” you begged her, and she nodded.
You took another vial from the bag, spraying it in her face once she gave you the ‘okay’. She blinked a few times, rubbing her eyes and shaking her head in confusion.
Once she opened her eyes again, they immediately landed on you. “Y/n,” she gasped as she pulled you into a hug quickly. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry,” she cried, holding you tightly.
“It’s okay,” you gasped out, your own eyes welling up with tears as well. She pulled back from the hug and cupped your face, looking into your eyes and using her tumb to wipe away the tears that rolled down your cheek. You smiled at her, and she let out a sigh as she pulled you into a hug again.
It didn’t take long before your whole family remembered who you were, and you got hugs and apologies from everywhere.
Once you freed Wanda, you finally got your kiss, after a handful of apologies from her. When you freed Maria she had a similar reaction as Natasha. You hadn’t ran into her while she didn’t remember you, but she knew she forgot who you were for a few days, and that hurt her more than words could ever describe.
After dinner, your favorite take-out, courtesy of Tony Stark, and a whole lot more hugs you finally made it to your room, cuddling with Wanda while she caressed your back.
“I’m really sorry I didn’t remember you,” she told you softly, and you shook your head. “It wasn’t your fault. It was Hydra,” you told her, lifting your head off her chest so you could look at her. Her eyes were stinging with tears, and you knew she still felt guilty. You leaned down and kissed her, and she was eager to return the kiss. “I love you,” you told her. She smiled and kissed you one more time, before pulling you back into her chest.
“I love you more.”

An insight into the characters based on their approach to the “Allie problem”
If good writing means that every scene has the potential to say something about a character at their core, then the girls' attitude towards the "Allie problem" is an interesting example.
Taissa
The one who comes up with the very plan. This establishes her as ambitious and extremely rational, but it’s the type of rationality that without grounded moral principles could degenerate into violence and cruelty at any time. It’s what we see with adult Misty and Walter, who are both so practical-minded that resorting to murder is nothing more than a smart option to choose to them.
Like Jackie says, Taissa has so much fight in her. The way she handles the Allie situation shows that if she has a goal, she’ll do whatever she finds necessary to obtain it.
How does that translate into their time in the wilderness?
Taissa’s the first to make the call that they should leave the plane and find water. She’s the one who sleeps in the attic when everyone else wouldn’t, she’s the only one who tries to tell Jackie she shouldn’t leave. And in season two, she’s the one who says, “We need to find a way to stay alive, and it can’t be her [: Lottie]”.
Then we see them drawing cards. We’re not shown how they get to that very decision exactly, but it’s important that we know that the two things are tied. The hunt that follows, their first conscious hunt (let’s not forget about Travis), wasn’t supposed to happen—it’s rather the consequence of the designed sacrifice refusing to take on the role.
Though there’s an obvious religious aspect to it, drawing cards isn’t just letting fate/the wilderness decide in their place so that they don’t blame themselves. It’s also the girls’ attempt to give the ritual some semblance of logic and structure—on a normal day, they would draw cards to decide who gets which task. They’re using the same mechanism, except that they’re now deciding who should die and get eaten. And it starts with Taissa’s very rational and straightforward remark about needing to survive.
Natalie
She openly and passionately goes against Taissa’s plan. Despite being presented as the outsider who doesn’t really engage with the team and disregards rules by smoking and doing drugs, she’s the one who fights to play fairly. She most likely doesn’t care about Allie personally, but she’s a teammate, and they should treat her as such.
While Tai’s ultimate goal is winning at Nationals, Natalie doesn’t want to win more than she wants to be a team (T: What’s your plan, then? / N: I dunno, play like a fucking team and win? It’s worked so far.).
It’s quite ironic—yet not that surprising—how, despite being opposites, Natalie and Jackie share a similar mindset about this.
The scene establishes Natalie as a sympathetic character with grounded and noble moral principles, no matter the adversities. In the wilderness, she’s the first and possibly the only one who acknowledges Travis’ grief and sees through his unsufferable attitude and understands that, as much as questionable his methods are, he’s trying to make sure Javi gets over their father’s death and wants to live on.
It's also meaningful that Natalie’s not there when Jackie and Shauna fight and Jackie ends up leaving the cabin. The night earlier, Natalie was the one who let her out when Lottie and the others locked her in and went to hunt Travis down. Natalie basically saves the girl who just had sex with Travis being perfectly aware that it would hurt her, and she doesn’t even know. Viewers do know, though, and we’re instinctively led to think of her as even more noble and deserving of empathy.
Jackie’s death certainly comes from an irrational choice, but the deepest reason is the others’ lack of sympathy towards her at the end of the season. It could be delusional, but I can’t see Natalie turning a blind eye on the whole thing, had she been there.
Jackie was their captain when they had a normal life. Natalie becomes their leader thanks to the constant effort she’s put into the group ever since they landed there—and possibly, as the matter with Allie shows, even before that.
Lottie
Lottie’s phrasing for her refusal is telling. She says, “It doesn’t feel right.” It’s not that she thinks it is, or that it seems like it is. She feels like they’re not meant to go through with it. A simple yet fitting choice of words foreshadows Lottie’s spiritual nature and her connection to the wilderness as well as her role of prophet/messiah.
It’s also important that she’s not shown as particularly proactive. She does express her opinion, but she’s not as passionate as Natalie about it, who instead actively tries to convince them what a terrible idea it is and interferes with Taissa’s plan on the field. This shows how Lottie never cared be a leader, but rather follows where her feelings lead her.
Van
We’re not really shown Van’s reaction until they’re in the locker room after the scrimmage. We just learn that she’s impressionable, as she almost throws up at Nat’s mention of Allie’s bone being visible, and that she’s so devoted to Tai that she won’t let Shauna talk shit about her at the party.
Laura Lee
Of course, nobody would even dream of telling Laura Lee about an act of such misconduct. She would never go along with Taissa’s plan, she wouldn’t even fathom doing something like this. She’s more clueless than Jackie, because Jackie at least did notice something was off on the field. Even at the party, Laura Lee is the only one who still has no idea there were such tensions.
Her blissful ignorance keeps her kind and pure, apart from the ruthless tendencies of the team. It doesn’t change once they’re in the wilderness—Laura Lee dies trying to help her friends, and she fortunately never gets to witness their worst moments.
Shauna
Unsurprisingly, Shauna’s a tough one. Her attitude towards the Allie situation is as ambivalent as it will be for the rest of the story towards everything else.
Shauna keeps her thoughts for herself until Nat and Lottie leave and it’s just her and Tai, and even then, the first thing she says is, “Jackie’s not gonna like it.” The moment she’s asked to make a personal decision, she talks about what Jackie would think, and it’s not because she herself doesn’t know what to think, it’s just what she chooses to say outright. If anything, Shauna isn’t against Taissa’s plan entirely, and bringing up Jackie rather sounds like an excuse so that she doesn’t dwell on her own dark thoughts.
When Taissa says, “Then we probably shouldn’t tell her,” we expect that to upset Shauna—she wouldn’t keep things from Jackie, right? They’re best friends. While it does upset her, it still doesn’t stop her. We understand why later in the episode, when we discover that she’s no stranger to keeping secrets from Jackie, between her affair with Jeff and the admission letter to Brown (it also recontextualizes their first scene together in Shauna’s car, where Jackie addressed literally both).
On the field, when Taissa plays aggressive and forces Allie to play under pressure, Shauna tells her, “It’s not helping,” and once Allie’s on the ground, she’s one of the girls who runs to her first and tries to comfort her. Even though she didn’t openly disagree with Taissa’s plan, she didn’t want or expect things to escalate the way they did. She’ll make the same mistake when Jackie leaves the cabin, Taissa tells her to go talk to her, and Shauna just goes to sleep, underestimating the consequences of it.
Her ambivalence—if not hypocrisy—is shown later that night at the party, when she tries to pick a fight with Taissa while drunk. I think some part of her felt guilty to an extent, so she tries to fight with Tai out of remorse and because she wants to make her look like the only culprit, since she hates that she was so close to being complicit in it. Who calls her out when she defends Nat from Taissa’s slut-shaming at the party? Natalie herself slams in Shauna’s face that she is complicit.
If Shauna had told Jackie, she would’ve put a stop to it for sure. In the 2019 script for the pilot, Jackie says, “You should have told me about Taissa and Allie.” Shauna’s choice to keep the secret directly anticipates their falling out towards the end of the season. Shauna’s continuous lying drives Jackie mad until she explodes and they have that fatal fight.
Shauna’s the one who tries to act as a person who has it together but really doesn’t. She has the potential to be a good person, friend and mother, but she ends up flunking everything and she barely understands why.
Finally, she tells Tai that she’s “a fucking sociopath”, which, considering everything that happens later in the series, is sort of rich.
Jackie
Like Laura Lee, Jackie has no clue the whole “freeze Allie out” strategy is even happening. Shauna didn’t tell her, she was left out, and she doesn’t find out until Allie’s already hurt and there’s nothing she can do about it.
She watches the others as they rush to help and comfort her and handle the situation, but she doesn’t partake in it because she’s too shocked to move. After the scrimmage, she tries very hard to do as Coach Martinez told her—as captain, she’s meant to glue them together (“When it gets tough out there, these girls are going to be looking for someone to guide them. Can you handle that?”). It’s more than that, though—the way Coach put it, if Jackie can’t do that, then she isn’t really anything special. She’s not as fast as Shauna and her footwork isn’t as good as Lottie’s, and there’s something else that Taissa’s better at, too, though Jackie stops Coach before he can tell her that bit. But nobody seems to care about what she’s saying, and Natalie storms off.
Jackie’s inability to handle the Allie situation and lift the others’ spirits foreshadows her incompetence as well as her progressive loss of influence in the wilderness—in Lottie’s words, “You don’t matter anymore.”
Allie’s accident marks the beginning of Jackie’s downfall even before the plane crashes.

would it be okay to ask for a clotted cream/caramel arrow fankid, when you have the time? <:)
Tumblr media
Probably isn’t great that “when you have the time” ended up being well over a year later, but I finally got this done, this is Dulce de Leche Cookie, also known as Caramel Sauce Cookie
So real talk, he’s been sitting as a sketch for ages, but unfinished because I could never figure out his outfit. Today I finally decided to give him one and finish him up, but I was kind of just making stuff up, and in addition I have very little to say about his character
What I do have is that his parents’ marriage was more political than it was romantic. They get along well enough, but to say they’re in love is very much a stretch. And Dulce tends to frequently move between the Dark Cacao Kingdom and Crème Republic
Also one note about Dulce de Leche and his name, outside of the Crème Republic or when in formal situations, he goes by the name Caramel Sauce. He finds his original name a bit too fancy and isn’t the biggest fan of it
He also is very unsure of his place in the world. He has no interest in the political scene that’s very prevalent in the Republic, and he feels the nation, or at least the class he belongs to, is far too stifling and full of double speak and secret rules he just isn’t equipped to deal with. Meanwhile in the Dark Cacao Kingdom, he enjoys the people there much more, as they feel real and honest with him, but he feels out of place with his poor combat abilities and general disinterest in it. He knows that not everyone in the Kingdom needs to be a warrior, but he’s spent most of his time there in or around the Citadel, which is where almost all the fighters are, which just exacerbates his feelings
Due to these issues, he’s very withdrawn and insecure, and doesn’t smile much. One day he might figure out what he’s meant to do, but that day hasn’t come yet (and also I don’t really know what that role for him is, I never figured that out)
And I think that’s about it for his character, now on to the design
So he’s based on dulce de leche because it’s similar to caramel, but not so much a rigid solid, similar to cream. Well actually it’s more of a liquid, but you get what I mean
I think the original name I was going to use was Crème Caramel, aka flan, mostly because of the name, but I think flan’s made with custard, which we know for a fact Clotted Cream isn’t, so
Dulce de leche:
Tumblr media
Honestly I can’t comment too much on his design, since the hair was made at latest, November, and I was kind of just making stuff up for his outfit
His outfit is supposed to look Crème Republic-ish though
I made his jacket that color because it’s supposed to be the color of dulce de leche, or at least, the color in the picture I have. That’s also why the rest of his colors are mostly browns, while the yellows are from Clotted Cream
His yellows are also shifted to more of an orange hue since the ingredient is orange-ish
I want to say I gave him that eye shape after Crème Brûlée came out, but I’m not sure
And honestly I think that’s about it, I can’t think of much more. I think I had more to say on his character than I thought, but next to nothing on his design. Oh well
But yeah, that’s him, I hope you enjoy

Wish Rewrite
Once a year my aunt and her family come to visit the rest of us and we do something together. Her little daughter really wanted to see the new Disney movie, so we all went with. I have thoughts, but everything that needs to be said, probably has somewhere and that’s not why I’m here.
Just for fun I started to come up with two complete rewrites, however. One is committing to Magnifico as a sympathetic antagonist, by fleshing out his backstory and motivations more. The other is him being a more classic villain, along with the earlier concept of his wife being evil as well. Still working out the classic villain version, besides there are already several rewrites based on that premise from what I’ve seen, so that version I upload some other time, if I find the time to write it down.
One other thing to note, I feel Asha should have been a princess; of all the callbacks to classic Disney movies that would not have felt shoehorned in, how was she not a literal princess. Her family is half Iberian, half North African? Okay, Magnifico is from Iberia, we change Amaya’s design a little and have her be from Northern Africa, done. Now we can cut out grandpa and mum, who really didn’t do much in the movie, the conflict gets even more personal and we have a bit more time to flesh out the characters.
Wish with a Sympathetic Antagonist
Let’s start with the backstory:
Once upon a time, a region on the Iberian Peninsula suffered under a horrible drought. The citizens begged for rain, until one night a star fell from the skies, to which the people felt drawn to. It seemed like their prayers had been answered, as even their deepest wishes began to manifest in close enough proximity and people figured out, the star’s power could also make them come true. But not all wishes were benign. Some people were suddenly forced against their will to love another, others became incurably sick as if cursed, others yet wished for power and soon fought those with the same ambitions. Or to claim the star for themselves.
A young Magnifico left to find a way to stop this madness and save his home, but when he returned a sorcerer his country had already gone up in flames and was completely devastated, all but abandoned. He trapped the star in a crystal, vowing to safeguard it until he found a way to be rid of it for good. Since the star is sentient, he was unwilling to simply destroy it (that’s more of a last option), but people were literally going mad over this power, so something had to be done, or other kingdoms would suffer the same fate. He moved to an island in the Mediterranean, but people found their way there, feeling drawn to the place, because the star’s powers were not completely concealed, it’s too powerful, more so than Magnifico actually, and even wishes still manifested as the orbs we’ve seen in the movie.
Magnifico kept the star itself a secret, and decided to collect the wishes, carefully granting only those he deemed safe, without dooming the island, haunted by what had happened to his home. It borders a bit on paranoia, like when seeing a wish, his first thought is “how can this be harmful?” and more often than not, he comes up with a scenario in his head, where even a benign seeming wish has some horrible consequence. He honestly doesn’t like fulfilling them, as a selection process is usually unfair in some way or another, aside from being time-consuming, while granting everything or the wrong thing could lead to disaster. Plus, he only has very limited control on how the star fulfills the wish, which means that in some cases the star acts like a monkey’s paw. Like you wish for money, but there is a difference between finding some hidden treasure in your backyard or your parents suddenly dying and leaving it to you in their will.
The star isn’t a malicious spirit though; it simply does its thing, granting the wish, but just like water, seeking the way of least resistance. It doesn’t have an understanding of good and evil. Best Magnifico can do is find specific enough wishes, or use his own magic to make them specific enough, so the star has less room for catastrophic interpretations. When granting wishes he does it as a show, and he knows how to put one on, to keep the people happy/content, so they let him continue his work in peace, rather than beg for every little thing, and pretends like it’s his magic doing it, to preserve order. He’s worried that if he loses control, or others learn of the star, everyone will go mad over this power again.
Still, he loves the adoration he receives. He was too late to save his home country, he failed in what he set out to do, when he first became a sorcerer, but here not only does he get to use his powers for their intended purpose, but is also celebrated for it.
However he needed help. After all, now there was a country to run; not his area of expertise, so Magnifico reached out to the nearest realms. He eventually made friends with a king/sultan in northern Africa, who helped him build his island into a proper kingdom and soon Magnifico fell in love with the sultan’s daughter, Amaya. Lucky for him she was also quickly smitten with him and after one of his visits returned with him to the island as his wife. Rosas soon thrived, developing into a trading hub, Magnifico could focus more on the star again, even began collecting other dangerous artifacts for safekeeping. And eventually, the happy couple had a daughter, Asha.
Now to the real meat, the actual story:
Asha grew up quite happy, but with very busy parents. They run the country, her mother actually being quite involved as well, to give Magnifico more time to deal with any magical problems that arise (and I very much include mythical monsters in that list) and his studies around the star. They still love her (and of course each other) dearly, but their parenting leaves something to be desired, in some areas.
Her dad, who is afraid of what will happen if he himself messes up, can be a bit perfectionistic and thus has little patience for his own or other people’s mistakes. That, along with him not trusting people that much (aside from his wife), leads to him having a “I know best”-attitude and a bit of vanity. Her parents do also have somewhat high expectations, when it comes to their daughter, teaching her early on how to act proper and starting to prepare her for role as princess and future Queen.
Let’s cut down the number of close friends (two or three will probably suffice), animal side-kick optional, and have the rest of the supporting cast be adults, mostly members of the castle’s staff, some of which spent more time with Asha as a kid than her actual parents. Now, once Asha is old enough, her father begins to teach her a bit of magic, something she was always fascinated by and honestly she just wants to spend more time with him. But since she’s still a kid she uses it in more playful manners, like concealing herself during hide-&-seek-games, which would also be a great opportunity to show Magnifico’s sillier and caring side. A scene to really show us that he loves his daughter and spending time with her, when he isn’t preoccupied with ten other things.
Once Asha becomes a teenager (still younger than she is in the movie), she’s ready to learn more and her father shows her what he’s been working on all these years. A spell that will banish the star back to the heavens. His work is almost completed; he only needs to figure out the final lines of the spell he’s been creating, one capable of overpowering the star, which has been able to resist his magic so far. Remember, he trapped it using a crystal, not via spell. He tells her what the star does, enticing people when they sense its presence, drawing out the deepest wishes to the surface until they manifest as one of those whish-orbs. Only then you can use the star’s power directly to make the wish within come true, though it’s not always certain how it comes true or if there will be a consequence, which finally explains to her why her father doesn’t make more wishes come true, something that had always bothered her as a kid.
The orbs are also the reason why most adults in the kingdom seem complacent, as many are simply waiting for theirs to come true during one of the ceremonies. They haven’t forgotten their wishes though, just lack the drive to pursue them, but returning them to the people is fruitless anyway, as soon enough the wish only gets drawn out again. So, they need to be kept save; destroy an orb and the wish within is destroyed as well, forever, and that’s when they forget. She now also understands why the star’s room was always so alluring, despite only know learning about it; until now, she, like the citizens, thought it was Magnifico’s own magic.
In addition he warns her to be careful, when she studies, as there are plenty of dangerous books that either hold unsafe spells, evil spirits, or harm those using or even just reading them. They are locked up in their own room for a reason, no touching, better yet, don’t even enter that section. Asha is certain she can hear something whispering, before he closes the door again, but hopes she’s imagining it. When she asks, why he keeps them in the first place, he explains that there are saver here, than out there in the wrong hands. He sees them as a similar threat to the star, so he collects any he finds. Unfortunately, destroying them would only unleash the powers held within, which could be devastating, so it’s a problem he can focus on, once the star has been dealt with. He tells/teaches her, in case he should not be able to finish his work in his lifetime and needs someone he can trust to continue in his stead. He doesn’t want to pass this burden on to her, but he has to prepare for that eventuality.
Asha is determined to meet all lofty expectations her parents have and continues studying, learning more spells and how her father managed to trap the star in the first place. Seeing her father continue to struggle with his research, even seeing him fail in sending the star back and literally losing sleep over it, Asha eventually gets the idea to wish for the star to return to the heavens (remember she younger in this version); surely such a simple wish won’t have consequences or will be fulfilled in a convoluted way. She also hopes that once the star is gone, her dad will finally be free from this burden, and maybe in the end both her parents will have more time to spend with their daughter…as a family. So, one night she sneaks out, to the room where her father keeps the trapped star, dispels the wards (using her father’s books/notes) and breaks in.
However, as she tries to draw out that one specific wish by force, so the star can fulfill it, she messes up. At first she draws out the wrong orb, as her deepest wish is technically her family being together, sending the star back is just a means to it. Which is also why she doesn’t use that orb; if the star fulfills that wish by making her father just forget or not care about the star, it would be bad for everyone.
Thus, she lets the orb float away for now, but as she tries harder, she accidently draws the star out of the crystal instead and it disappears into the night. Asha panics and is terrified to tell her parents, especially her father, as many kids are, when they mess up. Therefore, she gets her best friends to help instead and goes after the star, hoping to recapture it in another crystal before it can do any damage, or people go mad over it.
Magnifico of course is alerted about the break in and doesn’t suspect his daughter, because he can’t believe she would be that foolish (he hasn’t been around kids that much) and panics when not only the star is gone, but Asha as well. His conclusion is that someone, possibly another sorcerer, broke in, stole the star, and has his daughter as a hostage, because evil magic-wielders kidnapping princesses is kind of a thing in fairy tales. He begins his search, enforces a lockdown, so no one can come across the star or whoever stole it, and creates a spell-circle around the island, like a seal, so no one can enter or leave without his say-so. Amaya tries to calm him down, tells him how he’s rushing to the worst possible conclusions again, but he’s already having flashbacks to what happened in his home country, his family there, and now not just the kingdom is on the line, but his daughter…rational thinking is becoming difficult. He lost everything once already, and that was before he was a parent. He departs promising to get their daughter back and claiming that he would destroy the star before letting anything happen to her. Amaya flinches at that, since she also knows that the star is a sentient being, but knowing that in this state arguing with him won’t help, just reassures him in the calmest possible manner (despite her own worries/fears) that she trust him and has no doubt he’ll get Asha back safe.
Meanwhile, Asha and friends catch up with the star, which is granting wishes to random people in the countryside and it’s causing a bit of chaos. They even see what happens when an orb gets destroyed; one man grabs another’s wish and literally crushes it in a fit of anger, the other person suddenly collapsing, looking absolutely distraught, color draining from their face like they just lost a loved one. Asha uses some of the spells she knows to make them fall asleep, stopping them from fighting each other, hopefully until she can sort this mess out. But in trying to calm those people down, the star escapes again and the hunt continues. Her friends also suggest maybe just telling her father, because he is the expert in dealing with magical problems, but Asha is determined to handle this, to proof herself. And she’s still scared/ashamed for betraying his trust.
Magnifico arrives a bit later and wakes up the villagers, trying to get some information, but they can’t tell him much, other than the star passing through, and he has those altered by the wish-magic brought to the castle, so they can be fixed up at a later point. Right now he needs to find that star and his daughter. In the meantime, Amaya finds Asha’s wish orb floating in the corner of the star-room, and sees her daughter’s deepest wish, taken aback to see the three of them just united, though quickly admits to herself that they haven’t been the best/most attentive parents. And she starts to suspect that Asha was responsible for the break in, wondering how desperate she was.
Outside the cat-&-mouse game continues for a bit (probably a good place for a song & montage); star makes random wishes true, Asha fixes what she can, Magnifico arrives to see the aftermath. He’s getting ever more frustrated, because he can’t find the thief, the star or his daughter and he sees many rather selfish wishes having come true. There are also some actual positive wishes, like someone having recovered from a long illness, but since it hasn’t harmed anyone/is causing chaos, he doesn’t notice it.
Eventually, Asha catches the star and tries to get it back into a crystal she brought with her for just that purpose…but she can’t bring herself to do it, as during her pursuit she’s figured out the star isn’t merely some magical object, but a sentient, shape-shifting being, which is really happy to be moving freely again. Though as cute and friendly as it is, she’s certain it would be happier in the skies, not trapped and used by humans. Her friends by now are also convinced that the star is too dangerous to stay around, and they discuss how many of the good things it has done, could have been done without its magic. Still, Asha tries talking to the star and though it can’t talk back, it can communicate via shape shifting, and she finds out the star is actually scared of Magnifico, since he trapped it, and has always resented it.
Shortly after, Asha notices her father nearby, and uses her magic to hide them (call-back to the hide and seek games),because she feels so close to fixing this mess, and doesn’t want to confront him until she’s made up for her mistake. She’s surprised her spell was powerful enough, once he’s gone again, only to realize that the star helped her out. Asha now plans to sneak back into the castle and use her father’s spell herself, hoping the star trust her enough not to fight the magic like it did when her father attempted it.
Unfortunately, Magnifico becomes so desperate that he goes back to the castle, arriving first, and gets one of the really dangerous books out. He hesitates, but assures himself that the spirit bound within only demands a price from the person using it; better him than the entire kingdom and his family. Besides, it’s only for one night, if all goes as planned.
The spirit trapped within the pages demands to know what he wants, and Magnifico tells it that he needs the spells to summon the star stolen from him, and get rid of it. The spirit explains that this requires power; it will share its own with Magnifico, until the star is dealt with and as a price will take some of the sorcerers powers away. Magnifico hesitates for a moment, before glancing at a picture of his family that he keeps in his study and agrees. The spirit merges with him and they conduct a ritual, capable of overpowering and summoning the star. But it’s draining Magnifico both physically and mentally. His hair changes from greying to the pure white we saw in the concept art, and the spirit’s malicious side begins to poison his thoughts.
Since Asha is holding star, she gets dragged along with it, leaving her friends behind. Magnifico is shocked and disappointed, when he finds out his daughter is responsible for the whole mess and didn’t tell him, which then turns to anger, amplified by the spirit. Queen Amaya, who has been informed that Magnifico is back, joins the two, and noticing the change in her husband, tries her best to get through to him, getting between him and their daughter. Unfortunately, he locks them both up, before she has a chance to show him Asha’s wish, while he “fixes” everything, speaking with a voice that isn’t quite his own. The deal was to summon the star and then get rid of it, after all, and the spirit is intent on upholding its end of the bargain, acting very much like the metaphorical devil on Magnifico’s shoulder.
Locked in together mother and daughter have a much needed heart-to-heart, during which Asha apologizes for everything and explains why she did what she did. Her mother also apologizes for spending so little time with her and the pressure they put Asha under. Amaya shows her the orb she found and as they both hold it promises her daughter they will make this right together (hugs, tears, all the good stuff). Asha’s friends have made it back to the castle by then, free the two and together they go to get Magnifico back to his senses.
They find him in the library, where he’s preparing a spell that will destroy the star. At this point he’s so done with the star, with all of it, after wasting most of his life on that thing. It destroyed everything and everyone he cared about, when he was young, now its keeping him from his family, a constant threat that is stealing away his life, forcing him to deal with everyone’s wishes but his own (yes, he too has a wish orb, because he’s been closer to the star than anyone else and for longer…and different from the citizens he sees it daily, is constantly reminded of what he can’t have). He sacrificed everything to keep them all save and in return he constantly has to worry about people abusing the star, betraying him…even his own daughter. Magnifico doesn’t know what her true intentions were at this point and the spirit is whispering in his mind to keep him on track, also reasoning that destroying the star is the only way to make sure it can never cause harm again…and with all the resentments and trauma Magnifico has, he listens. It ends tonight.
As he begins the spell, the star quivers and so do the wish orbs, causing the people they belong to (among them Asha herself) to experience pain. He does too, but fueled by the spirit he pushes through. Asha tries to reason with her father despite this, apologizing to him, reminding him how the star is a living being, but he’s dismissive, his voice even more alien to her and as she approaches he pushes her aside with magic, knocking her into one of the shelves. Her mum cries out, also trying to stop her husbands, but fares no better. He doesn’t even seem to care he’s hurting people, just coldly states that everything is better than have the whole kingdom burn down or worse countless others, should the star get loose ever again.
(You may have noticed the escalation of the “better x than y”-argumentation)
Amaya shouts to him that he’s hurting their daughter, which makes him hesitate just long enough to interrupt the spell. But it doesn’t last.
Meanwhile, a friend helps Asha back on her feet, but she notices one of the books she crashed into, the one containing the spell her father used to trap the star, which gives her an idea. At first she uses it to try to get the star into the crystal she still has, but Magnifico’s grip on it is too strong. So, desperate to save the people of Rosas, their wishes, the star, seeing her father so twisted that he’s hurting everyone he cares about, she heavy heartedly decides to trap him instead. She casts the spell, her mum hugs Magnifico, so he can’t raise his arms for a counter spell and a friend wrestles the staff from his hand.
Asha succeeds despite the pain she’s in and her father is now trapped in her crystal.
Asha tells the star that she will send it home now, not sure if it really understands, so gestures to the night sky to make her intentions clear. The star trusts her, thus doesn’t fight the spell as it did with Magnifico, and so, using her father’s staff, she sends it back to the heavens, reappearing in the night sky for all to see. This also causes the wish orbs to return to the people, as nothing is keeping them manifested any longer. Asha and Amaya also get to see Magnifico’s wish, before the orb merges with the crystal he’s trapped in…and it’s the exact same as Asha’s. The three of them together. Happy.
The people get their drive back, the kingdom turning into a much more vibrant place, in the weeks after, as people now strife to fulfill their dreams on their own. Asha keeps studying to help the people affected by the star’s magic and she vows to find a way to free her father from the corruptive spirit that has taken hold of him. Something she feels very much responsible for and due to the bargain the spirit won’t leave, since Magnifico wasn’t the one to deal with the star. Amaya is supporting her daughter, assuring her that this wasn’t all her fault, how all three of them allowed things to get to this point. Now it’s up to them to make their shared wish of a united family come true together.
It’s not an entirely happy ending, but sometimes actions have long lasting consequences. Sometimes it takes time to fix everything, you have to keep working on it and not give up.
This would also keep the door open to a sequel, in which a now older Asha (pretty much movie Asha in age) could go travel, searching for a way to save her father and set him free.

Porewit - Day 36
Race: Wilder
Alignment: Dark-Neutral
May 10th, 2024
Tumblr media
Slavic mythology is weird. Very weird. Due to a lack of concrete sources, many demons and gods featured throughout have very little to work off of, and many appear only in offhand references throughout various texts. Among those gods, however, one shows up that has caught the interest of many scholars- the Wendish deity, Porevit.
Due to a lack of sources, there isn’t much to work off of regarding this god- two fragmented books are all that remains of this deity, and we don’t even know what he was the patron OF in the mythos. All we know about him is that he was depicted with 5 heads and no arms. However, what does his SMT design have to do with the few descriptions we have of him? Is this just another case of ATLUS taking serious creative liberties? No. Not at all. There’s a twist to this demon- a strange choice of localization.
As it would turn out, Porewit in SMT isn’t based on the enigmatic slavic god in question, but rather, something completely different.
All that we know about Porewit in the series is that he was ‘a beast that breathes fire, causing havoc in towns and the mountains.’ Later on, it describes the ‘sacrificing of cows and sheep.’ What can we do with this information? We can extrapolate. As it would turn out, we can trace the origin of this monster further into slavic territories, deep into Yugoslavia, with a completely different name. Fōbi.
According to Yugoslavian lore, this monster was a beast with 7 heads that had fire billowing from each one, responsible for destruction and eating a police officer in the 1950’s. Apparently, people once would rush to its altar to sacrifice cows and sheep in order to stop its rampage. We’re getting warmer! Literally!
Tumblr media
However, there’s yet one more twist to add to this tangled mess, and probably the most baffling of all.
The Fōbi literally does not exist.
"World Magic and Sorcery" is a book written by Toshiya Nakaoka in 1968, a book describing the monsters and witchcraft from, well, all around the world! In this book, a peculiar monster sticks out- the exact same one we’re describing here, depicted as an actual bit of mythology. However, from what literally anyone can tell, Toshiya partook in a little bit of an activity known as, you know, LYING???
There are literally no other documentations of the Fōbi anywhere! A few scholarly texts have come out since then that reference it, but all of them reference back to, as it would turn out, WORLD MAGIC AND SORCERY! I’M LOSING MY FUCKING MIND!
I kid, I kid- this has been fun to research, but dear god has it also been frustrating. With all of this explained, though, we can finally, finally get into the demon proper. Porewit’s design takes a lot of inspiration from the Fōbi, as one can predict- several heads spitting flame is a perfect description of this demon, and it all checks. With the depictions of the Fōbi that exist, we can finally see the resemblance of this monster. What makes it even funnier is that, in Japanese, Porewit is actually called フォービ, effectively meaning Fōbi! Why the hell did the localization team make Porewit into Fōbi? I have no idea! Regardless, in spite of how confusing this has turned out to be, I really do enjoy this demon’s design, and this demon was fun to research. A special thanks to the SMT wiki, Bogleech, and especially dijehtranslations’ wordpress blog for making this far less of a headache to research.
In conclusion, fuck this demon.

Marking - Scott Howl x Reader
18+ MDNI. READ “CONTAINS” SECTION BEFORE READING.
|| Being a struggling college student sucks. Luckily, your werewolf boyfriend doesn't mind helping you de-stress - even if he gets a little too into it.
CONTAINS: AFAB READER, GIVING!SCOTT, RECEIVING!READER, BITING, MARKING, HICKEYS, OVER THE CLOTHES, NO AFTERCARE, MENTIONS OF MIDTERMS
Word count: 1k
Author’s note: IK I switched this fic from what was planned at the last minute but shhhhh... tried to put some characteristics of the Monster Prom writing style but I don't know how successful that was. Based mainly off the first Monster Prom game. (Ignore how the gif is monster roadtrip okay byeeee have fun reading or don't)
Tumblr media
Midterms, midterms, midterms. Jesus fucking Christ. That’s all your life has been for the last few weeks, working on gradually revising your notes and studying for those God forsaken tests, worth a part of your grade that’s way too big. You slam your flat palms onto the desk in your small apartment, giving it a good couple of smacks. You’re frustrated, unable to grasp the topic you’re reading through. Why the hell did you have to take a math class? You hated math. Your major didn’t really use math, either.
You groan as you hear a knock at the door, lifting yourself on to tired legs. Who visits this late at night, especially when you have a giant sign on your apartment door labeled “DON’T DEAD OPEN INSIDE?” You’d think by now people would catch on to your witty ideas of decoration and lack of availability. Maybe studying for midterms wouldn’t be so hard if you’d stop making interior design into your impromptu passion.
Your hand quickly twists the knob, without giving much thought to check if there was some kind of evil monster or a serial killer or a Jehovah Witness outside of your door. Luckily, it’s none of those - it’s Scott! You manage a smile as his tail wags, and step aside, nonverbally inviting him inside. You can do that since he’s not a vampire. He quickly enters, wrapping his muscular arms around you.
“Dude, where have you been?!” He yells out, a large and toothy smile plastered on his face. You can practically hear his tail wagging, and you can definitely hear it hitting into his backside as it wags.
“Studying.” You reply, returning the hug weakly and shuffling back over to the living room, lit only by a singular lamp (setting the aesthetic is an important part of studying, after all). You didn’t realize it until now, but your desk was piled with sticky notes, flashcards, notebooks, highlighters, pens in every color under the sun, and empty energy drink cans.
“Studying? Who even studies anymore?” Scott cocks his head, making that stupid-yet-so-damn-cute face at you like he always did when he was questioning your totally normal decisions.
“I mean, c’mon, when was the last time you got some sun, bro? Your curtains are never open.” Scott says, a small pout on his lips as he looks down at you. You opt to ignore the comment about your currents, and instead huff and walk over to your desk.
“It doesn’t matter when I last left my apartment or opened the windows or anything like that. What’s important right now is that I teach myself everything my professor has been trying to teach us for the past few weeks.” Your ass hits the office chair a bit hard, which sends it backwards. The back of your chair hits Scott’s front, stopping it in its place.
“You haven’t even showed up to the gym recently! You’re not getting any exercise.”
“I’m not interested in exercising. I want to pass these dumbass exams, Scott. Plus, there isn’t an exercise in the world that I actually like.”
“Yes there is, bro, you know that.”
“Great, Scott, then go ahead and tell me because you definitely know me better than I know myself.” You roll your eyes, and the action could probably be heard just off of the nasty tone you dip down into using. Swapping sleep for caffeine isn’t good for your mood, note to self.
“Well, Polly says that sex burns calories, so therefore, it’s exercise.”
You freeze up for a moment, thinking about the implications of the sentence that just slipped out of Scott’s lips. Was he implying that you two-?
Before you can think much longer, one of Scott’s large hands is slowly massaging your chest, and the other is in between your thighs. He may be a bit academically challenged, but at least he wouldn’t be totally lost in an anatomy class. You can’t help but lean into the touch. It’d been ages since you’d gotten any action, even before you started obsessing over getting good grades on your midterms. Scott’s large fingers rubbing slow circles over your clit is enough to melt your brain, getting it off of finding derivatives, even if it was only for a temporary amount of time.
“Shit- don’t stop- please.” You manage to get your voice to work in between pathetic squeaks and whimpers, and Scott simply speeds up in response to your words. You close your eyes, soaking in the much needed feeling of human contact. Two of Scott’s fingers find their way to the hard bud that’s developed under your shirt, gently twisting and pinching it as your moans get louder.
He buries his head into the crook of your neck, and before long, you feel fangs on the tender flesh. Love bites are completely welcome, of course, so you don’t complain. You run your fingers through his hair as he finishes you off, giving you much needed release without so much as undressing you.
“There, bro! Now you’ve got your daily workout in. Your studying is going to be way easier now.” Scott says with a proud smile, turning your office chair around to face him. The way his face drops, you can tell he’s totally marked up your entire neck to the point even a turtleneck wouldn’t be enough to hide it. Oh, shit.
“Well… a workout is exactly what I needed. Thanks, bro.”
“Anytime, dude! Just, uh, make sure you have that color corrector stuff you were talking about the one time.” Scott laughs, turning on his heel and walking to your kitchen. You rub your fingers over the bite marks, and the fact that they’re indented into your skin is enough to tell you that any amount of color corrector wouldn’t be enough anyway. They trail up to just below your ear, so you’ll just have to hide away in your room and study for a few more days until they fade.
You take a deep breath, turning away from Scott as he opens your fridge, and picking up one of your colorful pens for the umpteenth time that evening.

Hi it’s phantom Anon, and while I’m sad I won’t get to see Wind possessing a phantom cause well circumstances. If he could though, what would his favorite phantom to possess be. Heck what about Spirit Zelda?
Hi Phantom Anon!
I’m sorry Wind can’t help out in the Tower of Spirits. When considering different options, this one just seemed to work best. Still, I won’t rule out the possibility of him possessing a phantom completely. There is a moment in the game in which Zelda possesses a Phantom without being in the Tower. Wind’s involvement in this part isn’t set yet, but I have definitely started thinking about it. That said, I won’t give a definite yes or no to anything involving that.
This is a really fun question, and I’ll do you one even better! I’ll give you each member of the trio’s favorite and least favorite type of phantom! (Spirit’s opinion is not based on possession, but rather based on his experience with having them as both an enemy and an ally.)
That said, we’ll start with Spirit.
Spirit:
Spirit’s favorite is the Torch Phantom. Not only can they do everything a basic phantom can, but they have a little extra usefulness. It’s easy to see them coming in the dark, and when Zelda possesses them, having that sword nearby to light up the dark areas and deal with those ghost enemies (The Nocturns) is very helpful. He hates the dark rooms, but Zelda by his side with that flaming sword makes it easier.
Spirit’s least favorite is definitely the Warp Phantom. They’re the hardest to stay away from at times, and even though you can get rid of their little Phantom Eyes, they respawn pretty quickly. Sure, when Zelda possesses them, it’s cool that she can warp around, but he feels the negatives far outweigh the positives with this one. He just hates dealing with them.
Wind:
Wind thinks trying new things is really fun, but his favorite to possess, if given the opportunity, would actually be the normal one. He’s a very skilled fighter and adapter, so while trying out each type is really cool, he really doesn’t feel like he needs the fancy gimmicks of the others. A good, solid sword and shield suit him just fine. Plus, these guys are everywhere in the Tower, meaning more opportunity to possess one. He’d just be happy that he’s able to help out at all.
Wind’s least favorite would be the Wrecker Phantom. It’s a cool one in theory, for sure, but it seems like it would just get in the way at times which isn’t ideal. Not only that, but the Wrecker Phantom has to sacrifice some abilities of the other phantoms. That said, he much prefers being able to use a weapon to just rolling over things. Also, Wind gets dizzy if you have him roll too much in Phantom Hourglass. I think being a Wrecker Phantom would make him feel the same way.
Given his personal experience with Phantoms during his time traversing the Ocean King’s temple, the Wrecker Phantoms are more of an unknown to him than the other kinds. He knows at least the basics of what to expect for the other ones, even if there are some differences. Plus, even the Torch Phantom, while not one he personally encountered before, is still similar enough to the normal one for him to have a decent idea on it.
Zelda:
Zelda’s favorite to possess is the Warp Phantom, much to Spirit’s dismay. As far as she’s concerned, this whole situation sucks, but she might as well get to try out a Phantom’s cool abilities. Warping is an odd experience for her, but she can’t say she hates it. Plus, she doesn’t have to sacrifice other abilities for it. If she comes across a mouse, maybe she’ll be able to control herself just long enough before she freezes in fear to warp away? At least, that’s her hope. (Also, she likes the design of them.)
Her least favorite is the Normal Phantom for pretty much the same reason the Warp is her favorite. She enjoys trying out the different abilities, and the Normal Phantom is… normal. She doesn’t hate it, but it’s pretty boring as far as the phantoms go. Plus, she’s not a skilled fighter like Wind and Spirit are. She relies more heavily on helping through the abilities the different phantoms offer rather than through pure fighting ability.

Time for a lighthearted review!
By now a number of people have heard of ボクの神隠し(boku no kamikakushi), aka “My Spiriting Away” or “My Mysterious Disappearance,” aka the BL manga that Okamoto Nobuhito, voice actor of Bakugou Katsuki, was involved in. It is available to read for free in Japanese here with a total of three chapters. This post contains spoilers for the ending.
Here’s a Q&A peppered with my thoughts on it.
The Premise
Crybaby Uzuki idolizes his childhood friend Haruto who always protected him, but since they started high school, their relationship has soured, leaving Uzuki utterly alone. One day, the pair are kidnapped by a strange man and forced to participate in a mysterious game of life-or-death.
How is Okamoto involved?
Okamoto is credited for the 原案 (gen’an). A corollary industry term in English would be “original idea” or possibly “scenario.” In my experience with comics, this suggests he created the characters and premise, then wrote the concept out and submitted it to a second party to be fleshed out for full production.
The script is credited to Production Beijyu (プロダクションベイジュ), a company who offers a variety of production and promotion services with a focus on editing and proofreading books, magazines, manga, and anime.
The manga—so the artwork and all of its production—is credited to 戸真伊まい, a name I can only guess is read as Tomai Mai, which sure sounds like a pen name and doesn’t appear to be linked to any other published work. This could be for a lot of reasons; the artist might be totally new or they might have worked in other genres and chose a unique pen-name for BL, but the only thing I found attached to this name online was their Twitter account.
How’d it get made, anyway?
As far as I can tell, Okamoto must have personally reached out to Beijyu and applied for their services to help make his idea a real thing. Beijyu gear themselves towards small, independent artists and authors, especially those who haven’t debuted with a magazine or printed publication yet.
For those unaware, manga is a massive industry in Japan, and it can be extremely difficult to get your foot in the door. Many creators talk about having their concepts rejected repeatedly by magazine after magazine, or getting a single one-shot published and then struggling to keep the momentum. There’s a reason all of the huge Shounen Jump creators talk about the intense pressure to keep their work popular and to avoid getting dropped from publication by any means necessary.
Boku no Kamikakushi is available for free and I haven’t heard of any plans for a physical release. To be honest, this suggests to me that Okamoto genuinely wanted to get his story made regardless of profitability—he isn’t just a celebrity attaching his name to a series for attention. There wasn’t some industry demand or opportunity that he took advantage of for professional gain, he must have been the one to initiate this endeavor, and honestly, good for him.
Is it really bkdk?
Nah. I will grant you that the tropes at play certainly reveal Okamoto’s tastes, and we sure could extrapolate about his feelings on bkdk from those tastes. But beyond the similarities in backstory, base themes, and design aesthetic that people have pointed out, the couple have very little in common with bkdk, and in fact, the way they diverge is kind of hilariously shocking??
Okay, fine. What’s their deal, then?
Uzuki is a yandere rich boy who likes to get choked. Haruto is honestly a hapless, horny victim in all this.
Tumblr media
What!?
Yeah. The “mastermind” behind the kidnapping is Uzuki himself, who staged the whole thing with his butler. Basically, their high school classmates tease Haruto for being associated with Uzuki, the son of the richest noble in town; Haruto resents it so he distances himself from Uzuki and rejects him. Uzuki ends up lonely with no friends and missing Haruto, so he stages his own kidnapping and puts them both in the “death game” as a way to force Haruto to remember his childhood promise to protect Uzuki as his hero.
That’s insane???
YES. IT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE.
It’s especially funny because the parameters of the death game don’t technically require them to have sex or get intimate, Uzuki is just a fucking freak and Haruto is confused by his own horniness and goes along with it. The first trial involves a selection of drinks, one of which contains poison, and they have to keep choosing one to drink from until someone dies. Haruto ends up poisoned, and Uzuki uses his prize (“one wish”) as the winner to get the antidote and save him, of course passing it to Haruto via full-on mouth kiss.
Haruto has a gay crisis about it.
The second game: whoever raises the other person’s heart rate to 130 beats per minute first wins, and the person with the elevated heart rate dies. Haruto’s heart rate spikes from aftereffects of the poison, and Uzuki’s solution is… for Haruto to choke him… on the bed they woke up on… so his heart rate increases as well. And then he asks Haruto to kiss him, too, and they just start making out until Uzuki’s heart rate hits 130. Haruto gets upset because he lost his head and ended up dooming Uzuki, but then somehow they arrange for this death to also be nullified, and they end up continuing to play the game for three days.
Three whole days!?!
THREE DAYS! This kid traps Haruto in a dungeon so he can make him participate in weird, sadistic, horny shenanigans for three days!
And then when they finally escape and everything is revealed, Haruto is just blankly confused and has this absent look on his face, repeating that he’ll protect Uzuki. The butler says that Uzuki performed excellent mind control, but then Uzuki imprisons the butler so it can be “just the two of them.”
Tumblr media
What the fuck, Okamoto???
Right? And you know what, it isn’t my jam at all, but can we just take a moment to recognize that a professional voice actor who is popular and prominent in the public eye wanted his weird horny BL idea to come to fruition, so he went forth into the world and made it so? And he didn’t even hide behind a pen name or anything, he wants people to associate him with it, he’s promoting it! He loves the hell out of it!
Like, I’m pretty astounded by that, and honestly I respect it. More people should just make things that cater to their own tastes without any self-consciousness about it. Wave your freak flag high, Okamoto.

IM BACK HEHE
I finished the Natlan archon quest a couple days ago and wanted to share my thoughts + my Capitano art dump/ screenshot sketches cause he’s so fun to draw and literally my favorite character rn alongside bill lol :>>
I feel like you’d want to see this :]] @ezio-adonyn
Anyways, I even tried making my own version of what Capitano might look like w/o his mask even though I think he looks amazing with it on (I’m aware the scars may not look as accurate as they should but it was a trial and error for me so please don’t hate too much :,)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And my thoughts abt the archon quest + random things below :33 which means spoilers ofc
OKAY ARCHON QUEST STUFF + RANDOM STUFF TOO
If there’s spelling errors I’m not fixing them :,D
At first I didn’t like Mavuika that much mainly design wise but after playing the quest she started to grow on me 😭 and her design too
THE CUTSCENES WERE SO COOL?!? like the whole Capitano vs Mavuika was so epic Ragh whelp like something I’ve seen in those crazy anime fights 🤔 but idk since I don’t watch anime :/
I HOPE CAPITANO IS PLAYABLE I kept looking at those random videos online and everyone is saying he won’t be playable in Natlan but Columbina will or something around that 😐 honestly I’m not that interested in comunbina which is ironic because I loved drawing biblical angels and she kinda is one but she hasn’t really interested me yet so im really hoping Capitano is playable within Natlan
The friendship between Mualani and Kachina is amazing and so wholesome :))
I loved Mavuika’s room with all those items in it reminds me of me with my random items I collect but I got so sad when she had to use them as fuel 😭 cause some of the stuff was so damn pretty. Does that mean she also burned the picture of her family 😦
I love the damn animals in Natlan they’re so cutee EPESCIALLT THE CAPIBARAS RAGHHH
I’m excited to see who was talking to Capitano at the end of the archon quest cause I feel like it’s Ororon
And I’ve noticed that in the out of barrier areas there’s a lot of stuff that isn’t realized which looks like the other tribes they look so cool I can’t wait to finish my oc finally and make them based of the saurians from one of the tribes
I’ve gotten over 20 or so pulls in barely 3 days or so 😭 it’s so crazy I love it. All those wishes are being saved up for capitano >:D
I got kazuha on a one pull and I’m not complaining heh ( he’s at level 50 rn rotting as I travel Natlan I’ll probably forget I have him honestly )
Anyways that’s the end of my random yapping lol if you read all of this I’m surprised cause the grammar probably died during the middle of this
