Verse Information - Pyrrha in ‘We’re All Heroes’
Short version, this is a verse I create for my non-hero/villain muses to fit into typical superhero worlds.
Born into an average family as an only child, Pyrrha Nikos showed great skill and proficiency in sports soon in her life. It's not like her parents pushed her into it, she simply enjoyed it and always strived for being great at what she loved to do. She won tournaments from early on in her life, and soon became a rather famous athlete as she kept winning tournaments throughout various sports (most disciplines of track and field, a few types of martial arts). While that all was very amazing and she was happy about being so acknowledged, it also made her feel more and more isolated. People looked up to her, people knew her, but no one that she nowadays met actually really knew her. It was all only the public figure of her, be it from her achivements in sports or the few ads she was offered to do. One of these days, during a tournament of track and field, just as it was Pyrrha's turn, a side of the stadium started to crumble, right onto the bench where her toughest opponent was still waiting on their turn. While they were opponents, Pyrrha still enjoyed their occasional banter and the challenge that they gave her in these tournaments, so seeing this tragedy about to happen, she gasped in shock. Pretty much just dropping the javelin she was supposed to throw for the discipline, she watched the scene unfold, except that the wall didn't actually come down. Somehow, the "raincover" that the bench had warped and somewhat hugged the crumbling wall, keeping it up until there was no one endangered from the falling pieces anymore. Such a close shave that could have been a much bigger, much worse, tragedy was a shock for everyone present that day. The next few tournaments of the area were postponed to make sure something like it would not happen again and to ensure that it had not been some form of attack on the athlete. During that time of no tournaments, Pyrrha tried to make sense of what she saw, and of a few strange things that now happened to her during her training.
It was like certain things were moving when she thought about them, now, coming back to her so she wouldn't have to go pick them up, or moving into a position better for her or those around her. It took her a few days to realize it: Somehow, she gained powers of magnetism.
Once Pyrrha realized that she had powers now, she didn't need to think long what she wanted to do. Helping others was always important to her, and now, with abilities, she would absolutely be a hero to be able to do so even more and perhaps on a bigger scale.
Thus, Pyrrha Nikos now has another life outside of her tournaments and sports - one where she is much more "dressed up" than she would usually be. She has not been recognized by anyone yet, and people refer to the heroine as The Red Huntress, which probably comes from the long red sash and her bright red hair. Pyrrha uses a javelin as a weapon and carries a shield with her, all matching the bronze tone of the armor on her outfit, and she is often patrolling to try to protect those in need.
Her looks will consist of casual wear when she is outside of her hero-outfit. Slightly loose, comfortable, soft clothing, often a bit bigger or longer than would be her size, Pyrrha likes it comfy and doesn't really care to style herself all that much. To events, of course, she is totally able to dress up and look more elegant or show off more, but she just prefers it more casual. Her hero-outfit is what is known from her mainverse (or in other words the RWBY shows), though with the addition of a simple mask of the same color as the armor of her outfit. Here's a link to a mask roughly like what I imagine her wearing, and here is a little quick edit I did of how she would look with it on.
Her powers are similar to how they are in RWBY!
Obviously, this is its own AU, so any interactions having happened in her main-verse, or another verse, won’t have happened here.
The tag for this verse is ✫ We’re all Heroes ✫.

The Keepers by foux_dogue (book-verse)
@dot524: This oneshot was full of so many big-sister feelings from June. This is an AU in which Alex is hospitalized in an accident. June realizes that Alex and Henry have been in a secret relationship for a while and tries to help the rest of her family understand while she grapples with this new reality. TBH I want more to this little universe but I loved what we got in this story!
Cracked Heart by @absoluteaudacitywrites (book-verse)
@na-dineee: This canon variation had me completely hooked! Alex's world is rocked by a quite publicly breakup with his childhood sweetheart, Liam. Things take a turn for the better when he forms an unexpected bond with Prince Henry. Alex is portrayed as soft and vulnerable, while Henry provides endless patience and support. He also helps Alex discover new facets of himself. I wholeheartedly recommend! Bonus: the shorter follow-ups are a treat, too.
(Not) A Cinderella Story by @welcometololaland (book-verse)
@na-dineee: One of my comfort reads! Alex is a JSD student at NYU Law, Prince Henry officially lives in NY and is unofficially out. Also, Alex hates the monarchy, eat the rich and all that. When the two meet at an event, Henry's curiosity is piqued when he receives back the NDA that Alex (and all guests) had to sign, marked up thoroughly in red. The story is very fast-paced, super funny, a lot smutty, also touching - it's everything! And Junora are the icing on the cake!
Cold Cases, Lost Causes by @tintagel-or-cockleshells (book-verse)
@suseagull04: In a nutshell, this fic is RWRB meets mystery novels, and it's amazing! The mystery, the romance and the angst all make this one of my new favorites!
i want to mark my skin (it is paper thin) by violetbaudelairequagmire (book-verse)
@na-dineee: In this charming one-shot, Alex is a tattoo artist, Henry is still a prince - and he wants a tattoo. After being to Alex's studio once, he wants one more. And maybe one more? - Of course, oblivious Alex doesn't get who his new regular is, but the sparks start flying instantly. Rated M but feels more like E to me, this sweet story is an absolute delight to devour.
we broke all the pieces (still wanna play the game) by @theprinceandagcd (book-verse)
@heysweetheart-writes: I absolutely loved this best friends to lovers fic having drunken sex because they're both dumb and in love your honor, in every universe. It's funny and sweet and hot. Please give it a read!
Rule Number Nine by @clottedcreamfudge (book-verse)
@suseagull04: TZP works collide in this The Kissing Booth AU! This fic really has it all- friends to lovers, all the feels, and a little bit of angst, and it's all done in the same fast pace as the book, especially the banter between both Alex and Henry and June and Henry, which is amazing!
l'échappatoire by @anincompletelist (book-verse)
@14carrotghoul: This time loop fic is an amazing exploration of grief and Henry's character. Sucks you right in, breaks your heart, and patches it together with beautiful prose as a cherry on top!

"I'm still deciding whether to listen to The Silt Verses or Malevolent or Hello From The Hallowoods or relisten to TMA again, what do I do?”
Alright. I suggest start with Malevolent, because it’s going to be a relatively short listen through and the fandom is super active. Episodes come out every couple of weeks, which means it’s not too hard to stay current. Prepare for a grittier tone than TMA, and a brilliant writer’s take on the Lovecraft universe minus the racism and misogyny.
Then try The Silt Verses, which is boldly different from the others. Unlike the rest, you’ll actually be able to finish this one, because there’s two released seasons and a third and final season due later this year. Lots of body horror, unanswered prayers and religious trauma in this indie art film of a story.
Hello From The Hallowoods is already quite lengthy and releases a new episode every week, so it’s more of an undertaking. Great places to pause are between seasons (E48, where a bunch of plot-relevant bonus episodes show up, and again at E96, same deal). Light on gore, but heavy on exploring homophobia and queer issues.
I’ll always commend listening to new shows rather than revisiting the same old, (especially when shows like @hinaypod @somewhereohio, @jarofrebukepodcast, @mabelpodcast, Parkdale Haunt, and many more exist for your perusal) but I suspect the best time to revisit your TMA nostalgia will be when the inevitable re-listen parties and events start leading up to the release of The Magnus Protocol.

Instant Eternity Pt. 2
So, Danny has the infi-map and uses it to go on vacations and the like to enjoy his now eternal life. The infinite realms are Infinite, really and truly. But locations within the realms correlate to spaces in the “real” world, so what happens when you travel beyond what should be the ends of the “real” universe in the realms? You find other universes. All universes, realities, multi and Omni verses connect with the Infinite Realms, hence the name kind of implying the existence of infinite realms. With the infimap Danny’s able to visit and explore these other planes of existence to his hearts content, and over the course of his travels makes a number of close friends.
He can’t just say goodbye forever, can’t leave them with no way to call for aid or call for small talk so, he comes up with a bit of a crazy plan to make sure all his new friends can meet each other and stay in contact. A combination of the infi-map, Fenton portal technology, time medallions/assistance from clockwork, help from the yeti’s and maybe even some help from Dr. Strange or Dr. Fate all come together to make a private club that connects to who knows how many dimensions. In a Ghost King AU his royal palace has all the normal palace stuff but surrounding Phantom’s Keep is a whole town for inter-dimensional travelers. The portals themselves are all in a massive tower, either leaning tower of Pisa style or a massive clock tower because of how much Clockwork helped out, arranged kind of like how all the statues of the avatars are arranged in the air temple in ATLA.
Danny’s sitting at his desk in his office while 7 Gokus, 13 Vegitas, 4 Beeruses(Beerusi? A pod of Beerus? Flock?) 10 Piccolos and 1 Gohan crowd the rest of his office. “Two Hundred and Forty. 2-4-fucking-0. That is the number of of Territories that have lodged official complaints about the ruckus your fights have been causing! Queen Patet sent a fifty seven page long letter asking me to give every single one of your dimensions eternal travel bans to all of your dimensions and every dimension where even one of you exist. Because the shockwaves from your fights were still strong enough to shatter glass when they reached her Territory. The territory of Vitrum, which makes Fucking Everything from glass! Including the Goddamn Buildings! They build their cities in massive glass orbs! More than thirteen hundred buildings torn down in one day. Including every single hospital they had. You fought for nine days straight. Get out. Get the crap baskets out of my office. Now. Go home. Let the Bulmas know that they’re paying the reparations.” They all file out of the office, Vegitas and the flock of Beerus mumbling about how they shouldn’t have made their buildings out of glass if they didn’t want them to get broken. The one(1) brain cell the group had, otherwise known as Gohan, was apparently the only one with manners, profusely apologizing and offering to help with the clean up even as he got shooed out of the office.
More then a dozen Quirckless!Izuku vigilantes come together to form a great big club to share intel that match’s across their various worlds, analyze quirks, train and give each other therapy. It’s all going well. Then the Batmen stop developing contingency plans for literally all the beings they meet here juuust long enough for their adoption senses to start tingling. The Dad Mights, Dadzawas and Dad for Ones put aside their differences to combat this new threat. The Spider-men are sitting in a corner grateful that their spider senses and Peter tingles helped them avoid all that nonsense. Until the Iron Dads show up. Then they’re all to busy running and cursing their Parker luck to be grateful.
Passing through a gateway to another universe that isn’t yours require approval from no less then half the visitors from that verse and/or Danny himself. Same thing goes for leaving the compound to explore the Realms.
All the adoption addicts from across the multiverse take one look at Danny, listen to all the rumors about his parents and go “Mine!”. Luckily for Danny he doesn’t really have to to worry to much, doesn’t even notice really, because 2.3 seconds after they did that they all turned to each other and went “No! Not yours, Mine!” The infighting has kept them busy ever sense. However, according to an ancient, sacred prophecy(something that Clockwork mentioned in passing 2 months ago) they will eventually all decide that Danny having a proper support network is more important then who his favorite supporter is. So he’s going to get parented so hard by all three hundred and eighty of them. More moms, dads, ma’s, pa’s aunts and uncles then he’ll know what to do with.

Spider-verse little theories/thoughts I had following seeing the movie:
The spider that bit miles might be dead but it’s been preserved which means it’s dna is still there which means earth-42 miles could still become a spider-man.
Hobie has been stealing tech since the beginning because he never trusts establishments and has his own happy little tech lair full of everything the band would need to fight Miguel
Miles wasn’t supposed to be a spider man so canon events don’t apply to him. Miguel knows this and is bitter about it and that is why he is SO angry at Miles specifically.
Miguel’s choice to take over another Miguel’s life is like fucked up for a lot of reasons but the most glaring one to me is did he sleep with that Miguel’s wife while pretending to be the Miguel that died? That is beyond fucked I don’t even have the words for it.
Earth-42 Miles had more tech than Uncle Aaron’s prowler. What if he is already aware of the multiverse/spider-verse but just hasn’t been able to get it going. Likely because that world doesn’t have a collider since there’s no Spider-Man to fight to lose Kingpin’s family over and create the series of events for it?
Alternatively he was bit, is a spider-man, but he lost his dad in the collider fight and it changed him differently from how it changed the other spidermen. (Not sold on this one but it did pop into my head)
Not totally a theory mostly just an observation: Earth-42 is older. By the grey and Uncle Aaron’s hair and the slightly more mature shape of that Miles’s face and height I believe it is at least 2-4 years ahead of our Miles’s time.
We also don’t know immediately that Prowler Miles is evil. The possibility of all the glitches and villains appearing in wrong universes means it could have happened in that universe. Means that he could have fought them. While he might not be a hero in the way we think of Spider-Man he could be more of an anti hero, such as Eddie Brock or even Batman.
Speaking of Eddie Brock: he’s now jumped to the MCU’s spider world, earth 616(?), and now The Spot has travelled to his. This connects them more and implies either that there will be a spider-man in Eddie’s universe, OR, that Venom himself counts as the Spider-Man of that universe, which then tosses Miguel’s Canon Events theories out of the water.
How many anomaly spider-peeps are there. Miguel is hung up on Mikes for being bitten by a spider from another universe and leaving that universe without one, but is he the only one? If every universe is creating colliders, exploring the multiverse, it stands to reason that The Spot exists as a scientist in other universes and could cause the same situation to happen. Miguel’s technology seems to imply he can see all in the multiverse but how can that be possible in a world of infinite universes? He must have missed something at some point.
If there were two Miguel’s there could be more. If we operate on the theory that each (large) decision has two paths then each time a “canon” character makes a choice another universe must be created where they made the opposite choice. If Miguel’s theory about canon events collapsing universes is unilaterally correct, then how many have collapsed before? How many are collapsing as they speak? How would they know?
In the comics Hobie is the prowler before thinking he killed spider-man, changing, and then becoming Spider-Man himself (I think, correct me if I’m remembering wrong because it has been years). As far as Miguel’s theories go does that make him an anomaly since there should only be one Spider-Man per universe, or is that the path his universe and others identical to Hobie’s are meant to take?
Please someone talk to me about this movie

Wish there were more people like you who were open to exploring dynamics between two characters in an alternate universe where they are not bound by familial relationship/title or whatever it's called. I get it tsams/tlaes have a lot of family things going on and a-specs things but eh what do I expect from a fandom that started the hate on sunxmoon shippers? I'll continue shipping sunxmoon, eclipsexsun, solarxmoon and solarxearth(thanks to that one anon from before for introducing me to this) not as family related, and the fandom can suck it
Honestly.
Like one person told me "Moon and Solar are brothers" once.
And?..
They're not.
That's like saying Ink and Dream or something from the Undertale Au verse are brothers cause they're alternate realities of eachother and people ship them all the time???
"but they have the same face"
So???
So does Lolbit and Funtime Foxy. They're a couple in SBshow verse.
Mickey and Minnie mouse have the same face and no one raises stink about the most classic example of same face syndrome.
They're robots and I think physical appearance matters very little to them in the grand scheme of things. But that might just be my demisexual ass talking.
On a side note, I know the VA for Earth, Aka: Kat has been very "ship and let ship" with the fandom. And I think that's why in the Solar therapy session, she clarified that she knows Solar isn't biologically related. Technically none of them are, she just wants to consider him part of the family.
I remember awhile back the fandom was so hostile to people who saw Lunar as an adult and would draw him in adult situations. (Like taxes/half joking you know what I mean)
And I believe that was the last big drama the actors like Davis was directly involved in before he took a step back from that and told the fandom to sort it out themselves. And I really don't blame him. There are people who are crazy and just feel entitled to things.
And in more recent episodes, Lunar has stated more frequently that he is an adult animatronic of sound mind who can make his own decisions, so that they can put that issue to bed with the discourse.
(I personally think that gen1/2 Lunar was very much a kid psychology and through the course of the course of the show, and due to his experiences and truama he grows up in two years and he's a young adult now. This reflects in every time he has a model change or appearance.)
See this is what I mean when I say they are robots. Robots can grow up from 13 to 24 (approximately) in the span of two years. Robots can change their mind about family dynamics and say "you know what I think that i don't feel like a cousin, as what I feel for Moon is more intense then familiar bonds. So I change my mind." And this is allowed. This is allowed. Like I would not think this way about human characters.
People in the transformers fandom are really familiar with this concept as well. At least the few people I talk to from an outsider perspective. The transformers robots change their relationships in canon to eachother all the time from what I hear.
And yes. I know tsams is focused on themes of family and found family and togetherness. Like I'm not media illiterate. I know what one of the themes are. For some reason, people think I don't know tsams is about family.
Like bruh.
This whole show took two years for them to build the family and support network they all have with eachother when before the show was a toxic family relationship with Sun and Moon only. And I think it's beautiful how it evolved and how many characters there are and how big the family is now!
It's great!
And I do separate in my brain what's going on in canon and what's going on in my shipping brain.
This doesn't mean I can have fun on the side. With silly speculations and silly headcanons.
Giggling to myself and twirling my hair about the "what ifs" and aus
Staying out of the main tags and talking to my own friends with my own company.
While also analyzing the show and leaving tsams lots of long lovely YouTube comments about what the show is actually about.
Also. Consider this.
Since the multiverse is canon in tsams, in definition, by their own rules, there is a universe where everything in tsams is the same, except your ship is canon.
Evil!Sun even said that Sun and Moon being brothers is more rare across dimensions then we initially assumed.
So they're either enemies, strangers, they killed eachother, or something else.
They only are brothers after their canon event of separating and agreeing to work together. So there are some universes where that never happened.
Meaning most likely that our Moon's portal runs on a central finite curve.
So take that as you will.

I was talking with someone about just how canon the ineffable husbands are in good omens and I brought up how Gaiman said that what they have is canonically a love story (which is really reflected in the show, with their moments of vulnerability towards the other, their despair at the thought of losing one another, their comfort with eachother, the way they stick together through millennia even when they're never trying to, etc), but they don't have labels, as they don't have genders and the human conception of intimacy eludes them as ethereal beings that aren't human
And the complications with that
Because this person I was discussing with is not as versed in fandom discourse, and so they're only now finding the vocabulary of "queer baiting" to talk about that Sherlock show
And so they're like "I hope I see Crowley and Aziraphale absolutely eat eachother's mouths, it has to be canonized" and I'm standing here like. It is canon though. Like they won't add some "hetero romance" cop-out last minute. They are canonically in a love story. What's interesting is how the label-less queerness of it can also explore non-binary aspects and an aroace perspective on what "love" is
And they're bummed out because if they don't "absolutely eat eachother's mouths" it doesn't feel as canon to them. And I'm still standing here in aroace like. Bro. There are so many forms of relationships. A kiss on screen doesn't have to make it any more or less canon
But at the same time, from the amatonormative perspective, I get how the kiss on screen is seen as the end all be all. Because in general media, the main pairings will have the kiss at the end. And they will live happily ever after with that
Before the kiss it is only as canon as the kiss is predictable, and after the kiss, you can point to that one scene as "the moment it was canonized for realsies despite even people in the show making constant remarks about this being an obvious thing"
And I kinda hate it
I just wish the whole community wouldn't have to keep its guards up like this so much to discern whether something is coming from a genuine place of wanting to tell a story for a queer audience or about a queer subject or if it's all just a ploy to get our money, spit in our faces, smile at the traditional homophobic crowd and fund some conservative party with it
Because then we wouldn't have to play it by the boring straight rules. If everything points to it being obvious, then why is an intense kiss necessary? Why is it all you want? Why can't this represent a qpr? Or a loving relationship where intimacy in the form of a kiss just isn't something the characters want? Or a more open thing instead of being a purely monogamous arrangement? Or something completely new, a dynamic you can only describe in an essay lest you don't make their chemistry justice?
Aren't all of those just a much more under-thought about queer dynamics than what "I want these characters to kiss eachother until they can't remember their names on screen or else it isn't canon enough" can convey?
But at the same time, without something as concise and strong in media language, how do you make sure it won't all stay in just subtext and the reason it looks like clear text to you is because you're starved for queer stories and have become way too accustomed to reading between the lines?
I mean, it's also been proven to not be an absolute in instances where the text goes ham in letting you know what it's saying, when it's not implying, it is just telling. For one, Rose and Pearl in Steven Universe never did share a kiss on screen, and nevertheless we all know what was going on there
Idk, it's complicated and it's 1am, and this is all just a ramble, but I am in my aroace hating amatonormativity mood and the sentiment that characters being a canon thing without an explicit kiss bums someone out to the point they say "ok, ok, I get the whole nb ace ethereal beings that aren't human idea, but I want something more explicit because it doesn't feel canon enough" when that isn't strictly necessary for the story to get it across just got me in a weird mood and this is about so much more than good omens, I needed to try and word it out and might as well put it out there
Just. Why does queerness have to be allonormative and also amatonormative to be valid in the eyes of the queer masses necessarily? You'd think we'd figured out that queerness goes beyond just the L, G, B and binary T by now

For some reason, this image makes me feel kinda sad idk why :(((
[SPOILERS]
(aka just me rambling abt stuff aksnjhbcjaka pardon me)
I always see Lan and Exe have this strong bond, being able to prevail through many battles together, even if it meant having to risk their own lives and all that... the more i think about it, the more it makes sense
I'm not fully well versed into battle network lore as i am with mmx lore but I always wondered if Lan knew that exe was actually based on his dead twin brother. Yes, he treats exe like his own brother but knowing where exe's data was from is something only Lan's father (and possibly his mother) know
Sometimes, putting yourself into Lan's shoes: imagine having to lose your netnavi a few times from battle and thinking theyre gone for good. I do see why, cuz I always see Exe as somewhat a polar opposite of Lan; the dutiful brother who's willing to take risks if it meant for the better good of the world or to just protect his family
But i feel worse for Dr. Hikari, for he's the one who created exe himself. He may have not fully moved on from the early infant death of his other son (Hub), therefore he used his deceased son's data to create Megaman.exe and gifted it to Lan on his birthday. Exe is a very important member in the family, especially to Mrs. Hikari (Dr. Hikari's wife), whom had to bear with the loss of her twin son. And having Exe around, either spending time with Lan, scolding him to do his work and listen to his parents, going to school with him, or even calling Lan's parents "Mom" and "Dad" gives Mrs. Hikari a sweet familial feeling.... a feeling as if her other son was still alive. At this point, Exe was not a netnavi, but their child: a child that they have lost too soon but was revived under the condition that they do not bear flesh, but digital strands of data.
I really WANNA RAMBLE MORE ABOUT THIS BUT I NEED TO SINK INTO MORE MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK CONTENT (I only played 2 games and watched the entirety of dubbed NT warrior so yeah HASBDBAKJ) rest of the stuff I knew was out of discovery
Still though, I just really love the concept behind Lan and Megaman.exe's bond and seeing so much possibilities behind it! Like what if we get an alternative universe where Exe was human instead of a netnavi (Hub Hikari ftw !!!) Or Exe meeting children suffering from the same disease he had (there was in the one of the games but i feel like that aspect should be explored more) I just feel like there would be more for them in store but for now we gotta wait THANKS FOR COMING TO MY TEDTALK

There's like, what? at least THREE speedforce users concentrated in a singular time period? and the word concentrated sounds a bit extreme until you remember the fact that these btiches have power over time; they can timetravel
Impluse did time traveled and has made a place for himself in an older time period permanently
Compared to that, the metabolism's hardly a big deal at all
and unless their world/universe/multiverse is isolated in it's own bubble where not even timetravel gets out, that means their time shenanigans likely affect existing multiverses outside their own so that's a doozy to comprehend
And time travel isn't even exclusive to speedforce users, nothing is sacred, there's magic, and sciences and magical sciences, probably metas with time powers and there's also time loops and---
As far as we're aware, there isn't just THREE speedforce users who can and will time travel if it's called for, but multiple other instance of time travel or manipulation, all concentrated in a singular time period
that fucks shit up
anomalies that people might not even pick up on because the screwing of reality has affected their very minds become the norm; because minus this time period the whole rest of the timeline, before and after that era, is in perfect working order
this particular patch of the timeline is mangled forever and irreversibly, before anybody knew there was a timeperiod in need of unmangling
The clock ticks onward---the heroes and villains, and everyone beyond moves on and dies and the next generations after them don the spotlights, and time marches existence onwards as it always has; that's true, that's permanent. It's ineffable truth
Nothing has changed
you say it feels like just yesterday we did this very act as though it weren't the case
The clock ticks onwards---1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4
5, 6, 7, 8
9, 10, 11
this is how the world ends
11:30
this is how the world ends
11:50
not with a bang
11:59:59
but with a---
1:00
this is all to say that this is my headcanon to explain Tim's Forever 21 17
and also other plotholes; and maybe you can take this hc to make an AU where there's more shenanigans than ceasing to age at a certain point due to a time period being Eternal even though the rest of the timeline is still perfectly functional
=======
( as for wtf the whole clock stuff was meant to convey, it references the reblogged 'prokopetz the eleventh hour' post )
"...“The Eleventh Hour” is generally used to refer to the Last Possible Point BEFORE everything goes horribly sideways, so this would suggest that you are in a place perpetually stuck at the terrible and fruitless moment just shy of impending disaster. "
-- askmissbernadette
Ooh! AUs/HCs that explore Tim's perpetual state of 17 are rad as hell (although thankful he has finally been allowed to become an adult).
I never did quite consider the ramifications of multiple people messing with the timeline. For one person, we've seen so much media that warns against it and shit. Multiple people that aren't communicating before, during, or after their interventions? How the hell does the space and time continuum not collapse?
Then, the multiverse theory is added on top of all that? My brain is a little too tired to try to even comprehend how bad of an idea it all sounds (for the speedsters and other people who mess with the timeline).
I like to hc that some of the universes that pop off are consequences from a Flash or anyone else screwing up time. It'd be cool to see some angst regarding that (let's say Bart went back in time to save Tim in his universe which caused another universe to lose their Tim [and the domino effect of that unplanned loss for that timeline]). That, or the rewritten history causes new universes to form as a result of the many many paths and choices that can happen after that change.
It'd also be fantastic to see a villain who's like Miguel from Across the Spider-Verse, but worse. A person who picks and chooses universes that they think best suits their needs and desires. They keep hopping to other ones when the one they are in is no longer suitable. They also integrate themselves into the universes with ease and sometimes murder that universe's version of them to take their spot (they prefer kidnapping, though, so that the OG person can resume their life when the villain leaves).
Anyways, there are some great fics out there that chat about Tim staying 17 and/or the other Bats having weird timelines too

About-face by @quizasvivamos
At the start of the Marching Band season his sophomore year, Blaine is the youngest Drum Major in McKinley High history. However, none of his peers believe he deserves the title, especially a handful of embittered upperclassmen, including one particularly stubborn Color Guard Captain, who challenges him in more ways than one.

Near Misses by flaming_muse
Kurt and Blaine could easily not have met on a staircase in high school. They could have met a few years later in college instead.
This story is AU from within 2x06 ("Never Been Kissed"), with many of the broad strokes of canon remaining except where I thought they would be different because of the AU or other factors. It takes place in Blaine's first year of college, starting about a year from now. There are some spoilers through 3x22 (“Goodbye”).

Out of Eden by @wowbright currently 64/75 chapters Part of Glory of the Stars (Mormon!Klaine Universe) . The author has written it previously on tumblr, and is adapting it and putting it on A03. This present verse has been updated to a very appropriate part, and will be added to.
As a gay Mormon, Kurt Hummel has decided to go the rest of his life without falling in love. But toward the end of his two years as a missionary in Germany, Elder Anderson moves into his apartment—and Kurt's best-laid plans fall apart.
(75 chapters is an estimate. It's not necessary to have read the previous works in this series to follow this one, or to read the works in order. I try to make most things understandable from context. You can start this and, if you like it, hop back to the earlier stories as you wait for new chapters to post.)

An alien race that is feared across the galaxy because no one can communicate with them until a human diplomat teaches one sign language.
A sign of trust.
Part 1.
Even though Rin had never seen them before she knew who they were.
Of all the planets, in all the galaxy, to crash on, it just had to be theirs.
They went by many names. Humans from Australia called them "Kooks," because the sounds they made reminded them of the Kookaburras native to their homeland. They were also known as "The singers," "The Screamers," "The Howlers," and many other names.
Whatever they called themselves, no one knew.
Their language was just too difficult to translate, at least that was the consensus of the galaxy. Every single note just seemed to overload even the most sofisticated translators. It was guessed that theirs was the most complicated language in the known universe, and every sound they made could convey anything from a single word to an entire concept of thought and imagination.
With no way to comminicate, no way to put forth intention and meanign to actions, to put desires and needs into context, they could find no common ground with the wider galaxy. Telepaths couldn’t even speak with them, finding either a cold silence where there should be thought, or something which caused great pain. So, inevitably, as was the usual case with anything that was both unknown and stubbornly stayed unkown, mistrust took seed.
You didn’t know what they were thinking or feeling. You couldn’t learn where they stood on any single issue. Was that an innocent gesture, or a signal to some hidden assailant? Was their arrival on your planet a search for trade or a declaration of war? Where their ships flying through your system merely exploring, or searching for colonies and conquest?
Either they had managed to learn that they were unwelcome wherever they went, or they had also grown mistrustful of being unable to communicate with every being they encountered. Either way they had taken to keeping to themselves and it was rare for them to even leave their home system these days. That was a situation the more paranoid races of the galaxy liked; let them stay in one spot where we could better keep an eye on them.
They floated toward her like ghosts. They seemed able to defy gravity as naturally as humans breathed. Their skin was pale, ashen, grey, their faces flat, with wide mouths, and deep, sunken eyes with just the smallest hints of golden yellow irises peeking out from those dark sockets, two tall antennae rose from their heads, thick and fleshy, very unlike the slim and chitinous antennae of insects. They had no legs. Instead, their lower bodies formed a thick, snake-like tail, which served as a kind of rudder to steer them through the air. Their torsos were, more or less humanoid, and they either had two, or four, arms. The jury was still out on that. Two of their arms; dubbed the lower set, were recognisably arms, growing out of the torso at about the same height as the pectorals, they had biceps, elbows, forearms, and hands, with six fingers. The other two arms; called the upper set, actually grew out of the shoulders. They were barely recognisable as arms, but their stiffness and range of motion told anyone who was versed in even basic biology that there were bones in there, as withered and vestigial as they might be. These arms were connected to huge fleshy membranes which stretched over their whole bodies, reaching from those upper arms, connecting to the snake-like tails of the beings. It was probably comparable to the flying squirrel of earth. Or perhaps a manta ray, if they swam upright and moved through the air instead of water.
It was at this point Rin entertained the idea she might have a concussion. That was the least that could happen when you crashed your ship into a planet at reentry speeds.
She certainly had, at least, one broken bone, in her leg. Adrenaline was wearing off and shock was starting to set in with pain as its passenger. She couldn’t control the trembling in her hands and the cold feeling growing in her spine.
They approached her slowly, with the caution of anyone who was encountering the unknown for the first time. They were chirping to each other. Was that their version of whispering? She imagined that humans would be doing the same if they had encountered a crashed Kook; whispering to each other about who, or what, this thing was that was now amongst them.
Her mind was filled with the images of all the things humans might do if they saw an unknown alien crashing into their world. Would they try to help her? Try to get her some kind of medical attention? Would they stick her in some labratory to dissect and understand? Would they just leave her here to die? Would they kill her? Eat her?
One of the beings started to approach.
“NO!” She stuck her hand out in front of her as a very clear gesture of ‘Stop!’
To her surprise the thing did stop. Had it somehow understood her? Could the Kooks understand people, even if they couldn’t be understood? “Just back away, please.”
The being did not move. It stared down at her but there was no sin of recognition on its face. There wasn’t really a sign of any emotion on its face.
Rin’s pained mind tried to work it out, but it was so hard to focus. Maybe the tone of her voice? That couldn’t be it. She’d told it to back off in pretty much the same tone and it had done nothing but stay there.
Maybe the ... the hand signal? A ghost of a thought, the beginning of an idea, was trying to draw itself across her mind.
She didn’t get a chance to see it fully form as she passed out.
***
I was trying to make just a short story out of this, but the idea won’t be contained and I think this is going to be a multi-part story. So this is part one and I’ll get onto part 2 right away.
EDIT: Read Part 2 here.

Verse Information - The Fire is Out
One of Blackfire’s plans went wrong, and as punishment, she was stripped from all of her powers, leaving her behind no stronger than any human being, and sent to earth. In this situation, the tamaranean princess was desperate, even afraid, she suddenly seemed like an entirely different person. She wasn't left with any choice but to seek help in of one of the very few people she didn’t leave on bad terms. Luckily, the person actually cared about the tamaranean - which was a rarity to experience for the alien at all - and understood that this wasn’t merely a prank or an attempt to get something from her.
Blackfire needed a lot of help on the first days, she was like a different person at first. Slowly it sunk in that her powers wouldn’t return, and while it was very hard, she eventually started to accept it and tried to focus on moving on and gaining strength again. She had to take a lot of sessions in training and moving because a lot felt different and her instincts still told her to fly or use her strength or starbolts often, but some while later, the tamaranean slowly came to her usual self again, minus all the abilities. She’s by far not as powerful or dangerous as she had once been anymore, but Blackfire does her best to still keep up a life how she liked it: With stealing, causing havoc, and scaring other people. Even if she now needs to use gadgets and stealth more than her previous tamaranean brute force and agitily.
She doesn’t keep her tamaranean armor or clothes anymore, instead and since she now can’t keep travelling between planets she switches to earthen clothing, and since it’s a lot more close combats now she wears her hair tied to a ponytail.
For this verse, I will pick some faceclaim once I have the time to make icons for it; for now, it will be iconless. -> I do have a Faceclaim by now, I think, Revy from Black Lagoon, and I do have some icons I took from an icon-resource website and recolored, but I might not feel confident in using those (bc I didn't do them myself)., so chances are that it will still be iconless.
I will default to saying the one that helped her was the Poison Ivy with whom I did the thread that inspired this, found on tradicans and no longer active for much too long already; but I am absolutely open to replay the setting, or something similarish, or just assume, with someone else being the one that offered Blackfire the help that she needed.
This verse will be tagged with #✫ The Fire is Out ✫ | Powerless!Blackfire AU

TMP 14 Reactions
Someone on TikTok mentioned that Celia not drinking coffee is a hint she’s from the original TMA universe- I’m sad that this episode throws that idea away immediately because I loved that idea
Jealous Alice is so so sad
This Celia-Alice interaction is so Tim coded in the way Alice deflects
Worried Alice!! The Sam-Alice dynamic is so sweet- I’m hoping that we get more Tim and Sasha parallels from them
The transcript makes the interaction so much more awkward and makes it so obvious that Alice still holds some feelings
“Sam’s masculinity is spreading hanging by a thread”😭😭😭
Lena creeps me out in the same way Elias did in the first few seasons (the creepiness from Elias turned into blood boiling rage)
CHESTER VOICE!!! IM SO GLAD TO HEAR HIM AGAIN
The shopkeeper is giving corruption avatar vibes- I wonder if the rats and reptiles love him. Is he consumed by that which loves him?
The statement giver immediately talks to her dad when in trouble- do we think that the dad could be from the original TMA universe? Do we think the fears have been in this universe long enough for generations to be well-versed in knowledge of the fears?
A part of me thinks that the dad knows a lot about the fears- the way the statement giver promises they weren’t being nosy gives the vibe that their dad wants them to avoid the eye
CRICKETS ARE THE NEW WORMS????
WAIT NO ARE THE SNAKES THE NEW WORMS???
CORRUPTION TAKING THE STATEMENT GIVER WITHOUT HER CALLING OUT??? Is it an attack or has she turned into an avatar?
An institute rejecting the shopkeeper is weird- and Sam obviously connects it right to the Magnus Institute but if it is, it doesn’t align with the institute we know? It’s a weird idea that you could get rejected from it
Gwen being so uptight about getting each statement right is such a fun character thing- like even as she’s terrified about what the OIAR is doing she’s helping Sam categorize them and suggesting super specific categories
Sam’s trying to help is so sweet- the switch up with “of course not” made me sad for him though. I wonder how many times he’s been told he can’t understand something.
Sam babe who the hell hurt you. “No one ever does [have time for this]” like bruh what happened
Maybe that’s too mean to Sam but also- you’re going to go on another date with Celia and Alice explored the ruins with you and people just need a break

DP X DC SPEED FORCE LINKED WITH INFINITE REALMS
Every Flash, no matter the version or earth, canonically is using the same Speed Force. The DCAU Flash uses the same Speed Force as the Earth-16 Flash, pre-crisis Flash, etc. You get the idea. That's even how speedsters can travel universes! Because the Speed Force is the same for all of them, it allows for a connection between all universes. And even better canonically Speed Force users don’t just use it or channel it. They are physical embodiments of the Speed Force. (and I’m uncertain if this is still dc canon or if this has been retconned by now but Speedsters are the outlet for the Speed Force. They cannot stop running or put down the Flash costume in some versions of their character as they do not have a choice if there is not another speedster. They must continue to run or there is no outlet for it then time gets all fucky and unstable with objects from the past appearing in the present. Think Into the Spider-Verse type glitching but with a threat of the timeline collapsing in on itself if it continues too far & isn't fixed.)
Now let's discuss the Infinite Realms. In fanon its been held that similar logic applies. While unlike the Speed Force in that ghosts aren't the physical outlet for the energy of the Zone (but that would be a very fun concept for Ghost King AU), they can harness the energy from the Zone. Also like the Speed Force, the Infinite Realms in fanon can be used as a method of contacting or reaching other universes and that no matter the earth, version, or point in history. There is one Ghost Zone. It is infinite, it spans across all universes and times.
The link between the fact that speedsters Are The Speed Force & the tie between both the Speed Force and the Infinite Realms being a similar constant in all universes could be explored in so many ways. One of which is that the Speed Force and the Infinite Realms resonate on similar frequencies (or opposing frequencies as comic book logic would totally be on my side for that working) and Speedsters might react to the exposure or leakage of the Infinite Realms into their world depending if the Infinite Realms are similar or opposing to the Speed Force. But either way there is a fundamental connection between the two.
So, to conclude, have one of my many ideas where these two intersect:
- Barry Allen captured and disarmed a new rogue toting an odd glowing green gun. Barry being the smart motherfucker he is, disassembles the weapon and proceeds to be utterly confused. He accidentally touched the weird glowing green substance that was leaking out of the device but when the side of his hand brushed the touched the substance it administered an oddly familiar feeling shock of electricity. But that wasn’t right. The Speed Force feels alive with a rhythm and pulse of that he could feel resonate with each beat of his heart. But whatever this was felt, for lack of better words, dead. Stagnant. Ancient. It already reached infinity and instead of continuing to expand with continuous energy, it had already stopped long ago.
A shiver went down his spine as he went to write up a report to the Watchtower, warning anyone else about these weird weapons and a request for Bats to look more into the Drs. Fenton.
- Wally accidentally vibrates at the wrong frequency when trying to go through a wall and falls into the GZ
- Alternatively: Bart Allen can at will open a portal to the GZ and that’s how he got back to the past. In addition to being the ADHD embodiment the Young Justice knows very well, he’s also just a Tad liminal. His eyes are backlit with lightning when angry. When he runs, his electricity is tinged green giving a fun red, yellow, green, white color scheme. But the YJ crew just chalk it up to Bart being from the future and having anger issues while connected to the Speed Force.
- Speedsters being able to understand ghost speak but in the same manner that while a modern English speaker can understand maybe a few words in a sentence of Old English, it’s still pretty fucking hard but like, some things they can kinda gleam what they’re saying. It just ends up making things even more confusing from misunderstandings and changes in meaning causing miscommunication to occur.
I have so many more ideas based on this but for now I’m going to leave those for other days so I can go to bed.

hold up wdym fizz is word of god demi? did a cast/crew member confirm it?👀
hey hello howdy!
before i get into anything i need to disclaim, for my own health, so bear with me:
first of all, i want to stress that word-of-god is fundamentally meaningless in the sense of actual canon (being a teenager under the reign of that book series about a magic school written by a bigot + the whole 2010s fondness of declaring characters to be gay maybe if you keep watching *wink wink* only to turn around and call queer fans deranged for caring too much... ive got no time for that nonsense)
on the other hand, i think there's also something to say for a show that's about 99.999% canonically queer characters and that sometimes narrative is showing not telling... that is to say... even if there hadn't been any kind of word of god, especially in a verse in which relationship structures are built along fundamentally non-heteronormative dominant lines, one gets to analyse different forms of queerness with far more deliberation than one might in a Very Straight Show In Which We Are Aware That This Was Not Intentional
on the... third? hand. specifically aspec identities, still very underrepresented, still very disputed, still very hard-done by, even when the visuals really do lean into a show-don't-tell obviousness (see: all that marketing for alastor being very aromantic and supported by his narrative in the canon, and it's still not "enough," often simply because many people haven't even heard of ace, never mind aro... i digress, but i think, for relevant reasons), so fizzie being read as demi by people who know
what the heck demi even means
have the ability to engage with an aspec-analysis lens
is probably still the vast vast minority!
all this to say. it's not canon, in the way that, say, his being gay is canon, or blitzø being pan is... more canon (in the sense that the word "pan" may not occur to everyone, but it's more obvious within the queer community and those without may at least land on "bi" and be in the correct ballpark) and moxxie being bisexual is 100% indesputably-stated-out-loud canon
in order for it to be canon, it would have to imo:
either be stated out loud in canon (and even then, we get the word "ace" on hazbin and it's StiLl DiSPuTeD okok im calm...)
fizz would have to have a narrative or speech or some kind of important Beat explicitly dedicated to the fact that he Does Not Feel Sexual Attraction unless he's in love (which... honestly... if that were in connection with some kinda beat in blitzø's narrative about feeling like he's unworthy of love... im just sayin.... + it would lean very neatly into exploring fizzmodeus' being an in-universe very non-normative relationship)
in this case, i do think it's a neat little easter egg, without being pandering or *pat pat on the head,* that is supported by the text, and so yeah. fun. if they backtracked on that and in some way decided fizzarolli has had tons of casual sex that he's enjoyed/pursued... i mean, honestly without the word of god, i'd think that was kinda out of character, which leads me back to "yeah, fun easter egg, only canon insofar as it's not disputed by canon!"
disclaimer over:
Tumblr media
this tweet stating the creator said these words, liked by the creator, this was my original reblog of it (although I do note the original poster seems to have taken it down since then)

One head-canon I've always had about Spider-Verse (ATSV)
Intro:
It comes from my only "dislike" - cause it's not a big deal - about the movie. Which is the weird idea that every Spider-Person is on board with the plan to let canon events take place.
Granted, the assurance that the Universe is dying because of it is quite the deterrent, however many agree it is the only thing that feels "off" for the characters.
I'm absolutely on board with the idea that Miles can remind everyone what's up, and I'd love that for him, but that still doesn't answer how everyone got there.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if someone already said this, but I didn't look, soooooo it is technically an original thought of mine... That I've had since the movie came out but never shared, so better late than never I guess.
- Actual Theory:
I think that the Spider Society recruits are all fresh after a big canon event - or maybe most are - probably not on purpose, but it has indirectly helped the cause and reduced resistance after the exposition dumb about their multiverse.
-
Gwen was recruited after one, and although it wasn't through a malicious way, it technically did happen to line up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Spectacular Spider-Man, who for many is a perfect Spidey, also shares the Society's goals, which as seen in lots of fan art, sits oddly with people. What if he also just went through a Canon Event?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Peter B. Parker being an older more experienced Spidey could simply agree out of weariness, but I don't disregard the possibility of something happening to him either.
When Miles insists that Spider-Man always does both and Peter replies with "not always", I could see it also come from a recent scar, even if the scene is clearly referring to his monumental existing experiences.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"If it wasn't for Uncle Ben most of us wouldn't be here".
Maybe so, but that just sounds like an excuse at that point. One than in most Spider media would be pointed out, even if the statement is correct and valid.
- Counter Argument:
I don't think having this confirmed is necessary for the story, especially given that on its own, it's already a good exploration of grief and pain persisting even after the immediate shock has passed. As well as a lovely challenge to the Spider-Mythos.
They deal with monumental amounts of trauma, it's okay if they feel comfort in understanding a shared pain and even in the idea that by - in this case - inaction, the sacrifice of one cop, one father figure, one uncle, one aunt, one friend, one lover... Is vital to the safety of a whole Universe.
Now that makes their deaths feel like they weren't for nothing huh?
-
Anyway just wanted to get that off my chest... Months and months later after the movie came out 🤣
