Where are my big dreamers? I set massive goals but they are a double edge sword. Huge goals are exciting! But some days the are so daunting and overwhelming. Whenever I get overwhelmed, I remember the old saying... "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time" How do you break down a big goal into bites? Right now I set a goal to bike the distance from home to my favourite place, Tobermory. 333km 30 days or less Whoa overwhelming! Can I even do that? Then I broke it down... 333km/30days = 11kms per day Suddenly it wasn't so scary and overwhelming anymore. Heck, 5 days in I'm already 62.5km done! What about you? What's your big dream? 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗲𝗲, 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. A commitment to go ALL IN for the next 90 days in order to achieve my goals. To do whatever it takes to make this goal, not just a pipe-dream but a REALITY. Tonight I sat down in my office with my pen and paper and crafted exactly what I want to create for myself and my business in the next 90 days. I wrote my vision statement. A clear and conscise picture of exactly where I’m headed. That’s what visualization and future pacing is all about! I got clear on what I wanted for myself. What I wanted for my business. I connected with my future self at the end of the 90 days and the feeling I would have when I achieve this goal! Writing this statement in the present tense as though it had already happened. Connecting with the 5 senses and really putting myself IN THE MOMENT! 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀! Some may think that’s a bit cray, but I don’t care. Beacuse I’m committed to doing the aligned action in order to get the results. I’m committed to me. So if visualization and future pacing helps, then that’s what I’m going to do!
