Danny Phantom Randomness (Vlad’s The Real Villain Here!)

I think I talked to someone about this before, but has it ever struck anyone else as odd that the Observants only went after Danny and not Vlad to quote “save the future?” Sure, Danny’s ghost half was the main portion of Dan, but if you stop to really think about it Vlad’s actually the one to blame for driving him mad because future Vlad tells the current Danny point blank:

“And when my evil ghost half mixed with yours, my evil side overwhelmed you...”

This is important to note because the Danny of that timeline was grief-stricken, angry at the world, and ashamed of himself for failing to save his friends and family. So when Vlad removed his ghost half, instead of making them go away all those emotions became twice as strong. Especially the anger part since Danny must have thought Vlad did this to him on purpose instead of doing what he promised which was to take away all of his painful human emotions. Mind you, Vlad might not have shown it but I think he was grieving Maddie’s death too and probably blamed Jack more than ever for that rather than Danny. Either way, Vlad’s evil side completely took Danny’s mind, creating this new person who both was and wasn’t either of them.

That said, even at his lowest moments Danny has never done anything I’d call “pure evil,” including when Freakshow had him under hypnosis. Sure he was a snarky jerk and attacked his friends, but in the end he snapped out of it before crossing the line. When he became Dan though...there was no one left to bring him back from the brink. Nothing worth fighting for except taking out his rage on everyone who ever hurt him and making sure that NO ONE would ever hurt him again by becoming someone far worse than Vlad could ever hope to be. At least at that point in time if we don’t count everything that happened in the new timeline once Dan was beaten.

So long story short you’d think the Observants would want to take care of the root of the problem, aka Vlad since I believe he's the true source of Dan’s evil. Danny was just a kid who didn’t know how to handle the loss of his friends and family whereas Vlad used his deep-rooted hatred of Jack to as an excuse for every bad thing he’s done since the portal accident back in college. Then again, they probably thought getting rid of Danny would be easier since to his credit Vlad is more than a match for them or anyone else they might try to throw at him.

As for getting Clockwork involved, while warning Vlad about Maddie and Danny’s possible death’s if he doesn’t change his ways might be enough to stop him for a little while, on the other Vlad might just do what he usually does and take advantage of that information instead which would only make him a bigger target. Vlad would most likely try to use Danny’s fear of becoming Dan as a manipulation tool or a way to throw him off his game during their battles. In a worse case scenario Vlad could go so far as to try to recreate Dan without anyone dying just so he could turn Danny into some kind of evil minion as a last resort since the cloning thing obviously failed...

Anyways, my point is it would be interesting to see an alternate version of “The Ultimate Enemy” where its Vlad being targeted instead of Danny to save the future from Dan. Who knows, it could end in another team up after Vlad finally realizes he IS the true villain here.

The Olympus Mars Transfer Vehicle was something of a miracle of science and engineering, and showcased some of the greatest cooperation for the entire program as a whole. As important as landing on the surface of Mars is, getting to Mars is a whole different half of the equation, and ensuring that the right equipment would do the job was part of the uphill battle for the program. In the beginning of the design process, it was unclear whether or not the architecture would be chemical, nuclear, or some sort of strange combination of the two. Highly experimental solar electric or even nuclear electric proposals had been thrown around, but it was unclear whether those would be ready in time for the projected late 1990s landing date. Initially, things were dire, as the Olympus Partners stared down the failures of General Atomics to produce a working Valkyrie engine, the key to a reusable nuclear architecture. Ultimately, Lockheed and Naval Reactors would succeed in flying their demonstrator, Way-Seeker, and secure the contract to produce the propulsion section. Boeing would lead the work on Habitat design, a radical new concept for inflatable modules that would enable much greater volume on a single launch. This inflatable habitat would be augmented by a Utility Node, also built by Boeing, and would contain the life support, air lock, and docking systems that would be utilized by ships visiting the MTV. Two Multi Purpose Mission Modules, built by Thales Aerospace, would join the MTV before a mission was due to depart, enabling greater habitable volume and delivering mission specific equipment for the intended landing site. The final component, the Earth Return Lifeboat, would ensure the safety of the crew if something were to go wrong. This capsule would be a large, Apollo CM derived vehicle built by Lockheed and Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (later Airbus), and could seat a crew of 8. 

The MTVs of the Olympus Fleet, Minerva, Prometheus, Hera and Selene, would do their duty well. Each would lead the way in pioneering new triumphs and bring comfort to the crew in times of hardship. They would shelter them from storms, and bring their crews home every time. Even during the disaster of Olympus 9, where all hope seemed lost, Hera gave her all to ensure that her crew would get home safely, sacrificing herself into the inky void of space to throw her passengers home. Towards the end of their usable lives, Minerva, Prometheus and Selene would see continued use supporting Destiny, shuttling cargo landers and crew to and from the lunar surface as infrastructure quickly spread. For the crew of Foundation, the outpost in Noctis, a fleet of new MTVs would emerge, chemical-electric, nuclear and even chemical "cargo sleds" that would push great volumes of equipment. The Americans would lead the charge with their radical Chem-NEP design, the Armstrong class. These would be fully reusable, and leverage design work being done since the start of the program. Japan and Canada would contribute heavily to the Armstrong Class, with logistics modules and robotic arms as their main gifts. Europe's largest contribution would be the Euro-Russian Copernicus Class, a nuclear thermal system based on work done by the Americans in the early days of Olympus. These would be smaller in crew complement but much larger in cargo volume, delivering great aeroshells to the surface. China would also deliver new vehicles, the fully solar-electric Tianzhou class, based on their earlier endeavors in asteroid exploration. These were strictly for cargo, and ensured that Chinese Taikonauts had seats onboard American or European MTVs. This fleet of MTVs would enable a continuous human presence on Mars in the low hundreds throughout the middle of the 21st century.

EARTHBOUND/MOTHER 2 AU IDEA

Oh brain came up with a interesting eartbound/mother 2 au situation, aka what would of happened 10 years later if Ness and the team didn't do the thing in year 19XX (if I remember the year right), like what if they went to take Gigas on when they are older 20 somethings not young teens. More under the cut because damn I had ideas

Giygas would take over the world and it would be post apocalypses most likely a weird tech heavy apocalypse if I think right but lets talk about the kids. They are the more main focus of this pile of blathering of a mad woman.

From what I have thought so far is Paula is well. So she was kidnaped by the Happy Happism cult during the events of the game to make into a priestess of said cult, Now, while there could be a dark turn for her, I disagree, there are lines in the game where she admits she will try to get the hell out...She has Psi powers, she is strong, a glass canon but thats still a canon so she could of taken them down, Now it wouldn't be instant but maybe a couple years of her secretly honing her powers to become stronger, maybe going with the bit till she takes them down from the inside all we know is she escaped and got out. She is very...angry, I think due to not only getting kidnapped by Happy Happism but also other times, She gets kidnapped at least twice in game so I would get very annoyed after a while so her on edge of getting taken would be there. I also like to think if someone does get kidnap she is the first to get up and go save them, not wanting another to deal with what she dealt with. Still with her trusty frying pan to take out those if her psi energy is depleted, her prayers never answered...till Giygas is being taken down similar to end of game.

Poo would be a Prince of a fallen Kingdom. His Kingdom Dalaam did fight against Giygas, fought his armies well but got overwhelmed and taken down, Poo being taken out of kingdom for safety he did fight, but he was then told to leave because someone has to lead Dalaam when Giygas is finally taken down, him knowing of this prophecy due to part of his training, he when better journeys off to not only train and gather the Kings items (which he does get the complete set due to training and battle) He is off to find the others not Ness, He knows this group needs to be made and formed to take Giygas down, its shown in game he was aware of it before Ness even met Buzz Buzz so he is now on this quest.

Jeff Andonuts is interesting my mind, So in this universe I like to think Giygas as a way to make sure he is not taken down has rounded up anyone who uses Psi Powers and has either had them join is side (aka the cowards, the pokeys etc of the world join him) or imprisoned in some horrible way maybe using them for some form of evil may it be a power source or something details not full on that. Which would explain why Dalaam was gone after first they have people who use Psi Powers via Muu Training they are powerful. But what does this have to do with little Jeff here? Well he is never detected, not seen as a threat, even though with his genius skill he defiantly is, heck his very distant father even decided to talk to him when shit went down because he knew both of them together could help others. His lab being used as a shelter almost in Winters. They have been working on weapontry to take down the monsters around them, and even possibly a item that can hide psi users let them use their powers with out being detected. Little finikey on that one right now but I do know he has made a lot of weapons, and really loves using those bottle rockets.

Now you maybe wondering, What about Ness? The main protag of the Earthbound story what did he do since he isn't the one traveling finding the others what will he do? Well when the attacks happened, He was at home with his mom and sister, he used his trusty baseball bat and well SMASH! he has a talent for it, he also has psi abilities and used them to heal his family when they got hurt, That is what he did a lot of when the world became what it is, when not in hiding he was healing, or protecting.

Now Other characters in the story in this au while details not fully fleshed out I have ideas.

Porky/Pokey is a high ranking member of the Giygas army. Shocking no one he bent over to him to keep himself safe and loved by his parents. So you know similar to game. Not much changed with his dysfunctional family. Picky is a good kid still though.

The Runaway 5 is interesting in this AU. So Attack happens building they were forced to work at gets majorly damage, contract more or less null and void now. So they are now free and they travel through out the land in their the van, Giygas doesn't deem them a threat they are a washed up band what will they do? But here is the thing, they are doing something. They do keep bumping into Poo and later on the others when they finally group up. They learn what they have been doing. Poo first talked about the Prophecy of the 3 boys and one girl meant to stop the great evil which is a great story lets be honest. The group use it as inspiration for new songs, using the stories these 4 young 20 somethings and their adventures to try and stop Giygas. The Runaway 5 are the ones bringing hope to the common people, they are the ones relaying what is happening. The families use their concerts as a covert way to learn what is happening to them. The underground resilience against Giygas sing these songs using them as inspiration and hope.

That one day, these 4 young 20 somethings, from different parts of the world, will collect what is needed, and take down Giyas

This is my idea of an au I wrote it down maybe I could possibly work on it some more later on, I have an idea for art of it at least which will take a bit to draw. If anyone is actually interested in this please tell me, I have ideas but I am not the best at like writing the ideas into actual scenes...hence why so much of my fanfic takes a long time to write. It takes me a bit. Would love an opinion.

Danny Phantom Randomness (Blood Red Huntress)

It just occurred to me today that since Valerie is portrayed as an antagonist against Danny Phantom and ghosts as a whole, she was never given a full on “evil” version of herself like the rest of the main cast. We’ve basically got Dan, Plant Sam, and Pharaoh Tuck, but apart from that Valerie never got the chance to have some fun as a full on villain. Of course, there were some minor hints of some sort of corruption going on with Valerie in the second to last episode of the series when she tricks Dani into becoming bait so she could capture Danny, revealing that she’s starting to enjoy being a powerful ghost hunter which meant this wasn’t about getting revenge against him anymore. And to make matters worse Valerie had no reservations about torturing him to make him tell her everything he knows about ghosts and the Ghost Zone either.

Personally I would have loved to see some kind of interaction between Valerie and the future version of herself from Dan’s timeline or, better yet, maybe a brand new Valerie could show up unexpectedly from a timeline where she’s the founder of an even more dangerous group of ghost hunters than the Guys in White. Maybe she even took Vlad down in that timeline just like she promised to at the very end of D-Stabilized:

“Vlad Masters is Vlad Plasmius?! Phantom was right all along! And all this time I’ve been doing all his dirty work! Well, not anymore. Better watch out, Vlad… ‘cause one of the ghosts I’m hunting now is you!”

As for the main conflict here, maybe the alternate Valerie plans to invade the Ghost Zone to personally get rid of as many ghosts as possible which she can’t do without a working Ghost Portal and the only two she knows of are in the past since they were genetically locked or outright destroyed somehow in her own. Or it would have been cool to see Valerie slowly start to realize her battle suit upgrade has literally begun to infect her mind with another power-hungry ghost persona created when Technus gave it to her. That’s something I’ve seen a lot in the phandom. And lastly, if you haven’t already guessed from the post title has something to do with Blood Blossoms...

Before you ask, no, its not exactly like a Plant Sam scenario where she gains plant powers since I don’t want to make them too similar. No, the idea here is for there to be some kind of accident with some mixture either Valerie or her father is working on in Axion Labs where the main ingredient is Blood Blossoms and it causes some kind of unique anti-ghost mutation. Borrowing a bit of inspiration from my Necromancer oc, Owen Ravenwood, perhaps her blood becomes toxic to ghosts meaning she's now more or less a human Specter Deflector.

She can’t control plants or anything but what Valerie CAN do is transfer her power into any object or person to shield them from anything consisting of ecto-energy, blocking their effects and causing immense pain to the attacking ghost. This would create some great drama between her and Danny if he had no choice but to avoid Valerie because being around her makes him feel sick. Valerie wouldn’t have to rely on the battle suit anymore either since those anti-ghost powers are now a part of her thanks to that mysterious Blood Blossom serum.

Anyways, these are just a few ideas I thought of and I’d love to hear what you guys think! Maybe I’ll even draw one of the concepts eventually! But until then, hope you liked the post!

Naruto: Next Gen

Sasuke and Naruto get together and eventually (they may have been slightly drunk) decide to start a family via sexy-no-jutsu. Given Naruto's massive amount s of Chakra he ends up having twins (and doesn't get to tired having to hold a jutsu at least internally for nine+-months.

Sasuke has never actually been re-instated as a Konoha-nin as well, the former higher-ups did have his clan slaughtered...but he stays and helps a bit between also being a wandering spy due to his love for Naruto and belief in Naruto keeping his promises of fixing the Shinobi world. They originally traveled together as "advanced problem solvers" (they found shitty situations and made them less shitty. But Kakashi finally tells Naruto he wants to retire and will be naming him Hokage so Naruto has to stay and job shadow.

Kakashi had started making inroads on fixing things, though he's less than pleased at how much he does is literally fix previous generations shit. Sarutobi has massively fallen in his eyes. (Also he has had so many post-mortem trials because he feels he owes it to the dead for justice so they can rest, and for the living to see that their "good upright leaders" hadn't been so great.

Naruto isn't subtle about some of the changes he plans to make, such as intending to make the Hyuuga remove the curse seal on all current Hyuuga branch members and forbidding the seal from being placed on any knew members.

He and Sasuke and others of the rookie nine + team gai have discussed the subject a lot. They thinks they've come up with a way were Naruto won't be "I can tell clans how to run themselves" but still make it happen.

Slavery. It's illegal in Konoha and if Danzo can be posthumously tried for it for the seals binding the Root soldiers tongues, than the Hyuuga and their caged bird seal falls under that.

So years pass, and while Hisashi is actually relieved to agree to remove the seal, other members aren't and we have another "make hyuuga great again secret faction" form along with a "make konoha great again" faction that feels that Danzo had the right ideas.

Things are still tense occasionally between nations, nothings perfect...but Naruto and Sasuke along with many ninja across the nations are doing there best.

Boruto and Sarada are born during this transition period (Boruto will always claim the eldest title, for all he's a minute and 26 seconds older). (Naruto opted for a c-section as he was not going to attempt to hold a full henge during labor...he figured that was a good way to have no end of problems.)

Both Naruto and Sasuke would like to re-start their clans if possible that they and their traditions and Jutsu's might not be lost, so they agree to name one child an Uzumaki and one an Uchiha (based on if either develops a sharingan or a gift for dramatics and if one has massive chakra reserves and can eat twice their weight in ramen...it's a very strict determining system.

Sasuke is still gone from the village a lot but pops back in often to see his husband and children, while Naruto takes advantage of peace-time to be a Hokage who wears his children to work. (thy have their own play area and Naruto has clones that can take them to the park, though he tries to physically be there for at least dinner and dispel the clone that cared for them that day so he can absorb the memories and can discuss the day with his children.) Shikamaru decides to copy this habit of child-wearing as well with his own son.

It's entirely possible that since Naruto does a lot of paperwork and can make so many of himself a great many of the people who work in the Hokage Tower bring their kids for Naruto to watch... plus various friends, so Sarada and Boruto are never without playmates.

If you want to know what happens to Sakura and Hinata, no worries, Hinata formally withdraws as clan heir (she knows she isn't suited for it and Hanabi is) and eventually marries Gaara as both a political marriage and because the two have become fond of one another, both laugh over their original connection being crushes on Naruto. Kiba follows Hinata to Sand, thought a certain puppetmaster ends up being his reason to stay there. He and Temari act as more bonds forged between Sand and Leaf. (Also Neji never died due to Hinata's need to confess...)

Sakura finally fully realizes how much she...made up any romance between her and Sasuke and pours herself into the hospital ad healing for years before Lee finally gets his courage up again and asks her out and this time, Sakura finds herself happy to say yes.

Sasuke is much like a cat, and brings Naruto random things whenever he pops back to hidden leaf. Except two years after Boruto and Sarada's birth he brings back a small girl, obviously of Hyuuga descent by her eyes that he'd found. Hisashi does some digging and finds a random main branch clan member who'd "gone missing" decades before . This child most likely being a grandchild or greatgrandchild of the missing Hyuuga. Deciding that since he can't marry either of his daughter 's to the Hokage Hisashi decides this is a pretty good way to have a familial connection and so Himawari Uzumaki is adopted. (Naruto tells Sasuke she's the best present he's brought him yet.)
