i love the idea of Simon sending you pics of bones; dead animals, lumps of dirt or leaves or a sheet that kinda looks like a buried body; a blurry image of a deer standing frozen outside of his windshield, an empty lot, a dilapidated, overgrown house; a shaky image of an angel on a tombstone, a field, and just captioning each one with "made me think of you" and nothing else.

and of course it keeps you up all night wondering what he means by that. is it a threat? why is a dead deer in the woods making him think of you? why does he keep giving you little figures whittled into what is obviously bone (and a piece of a gravestone that's been chiselled into the lumpy shape of a heart).

this is crazy. he's insane. you should call someone. immediately.

but unfortunately for you, it's not like you could even bother getting a restraining order on him—if you think a piece of paper is enough to keep him away, then he'll just uno reverse and get a marriage certificate instead. problem solved.

Uhhh can I interest you in some snails instead of shrimp this time? I started with this design, which I found on the internet

I wanted to make more variety tho, so here's big snail and some slugs.

originally I made snails and slugs to put around people's bases if I was in a minecraft server since they're simple and you can change the colours easily.(you can also periodically move them) I haven't put the bigger ones anywhere tho.

Steve being unable to distinguish parental love from romantic feelings because he doesn’t know what it’s like to love your parents lead to him going up to Eddie one day like, “Hey, man. I don’t think we can hang out anymore because I’m in love with your uncle.”

Eddie has a blue-screen of death moment years before he’ll even learn what that is and is just like, “What?”

Steve is just like, “yeah, sorry. It sucks because I like hanging out with you and everything.”

Then he goes on to describe how Wayne makes him feel warm and safe. One time, Wayne said he was doing a good job and that he was proud of him, “And I smiled for days after that. It was crazy.”

“Right…” Eddie says slowly. “I don’t think you’re in love with my uncle…. I think you’re just experiencing what it’s like to have a good father figure.”

Steve just blinks at him, “Oh.”

Then he turns around and yells into the back of family video, “Robin! I don’t have bi thoughts, I just have bad parents!”

Robin yells back, “You have both!”

Before Jason makes his debut as Red Hood, he goes apartment hunting.

And the thing about Gotham is, all of the apartments that would make for good safe houses, are safe houses. The Bat’s safe houses. If Jason wants to set up shop, he’s got to get creative. This means being willing to look the other way about some things. Namely, living with other people.

Jason gets a roommate.

Sure, he’d found a couple of spots that fit some of the criteria he used for making safe houses, but not all apartments were equal. And having a semi-functioning civilian cover was useful. Sometimes.

All this to say that Jason responded to a craigslist post of some guy looking for a roommate. The post was written well enough, decent grammar and a fair enough price. Unlike some of the places he’d “toured.”

He has to trudge up a few flights of stairs to get to the place, because roof access is always high on the priority list, and knocks on the door. He waits a few minutes, hears someone check the peephole, and then the sound of at least five separate locks being undone.

With the door finally open, he gets a good look at the guy’s face. Too good of a look, actually.

Because the man who opens it is Dick Grayson.

I keep picturing Princess trying to explain to Gorgug, orc to orc, why she immediately shot down the clockwork gnome baroness, and all Gorgug is hearing is that his perfect woman exists and is out there right now looking for a suitor

Bruce Wayne is canonically a very handsome man (he is called a "pretty boy" and he is in his 40s, for fuck's sake), and he is pretty famous as a rich philanthropist who doesn't want to leave his awful cursed crime infested city. So, there must be a ton of people thirsting over him on the internet. Fancams, edits, fanfics and imagines ("kidnapped with Bruce Wayne 😍 by a Gotham rogue"), the whole charade!

And anytime one of the batkids stumbles on a thirst post, they have the most dramatic disgusted reaction, loudly gagging, before sending the link to the batkids chat, because if they must suffer, then they should all suffer. Clicking on a link in this groupchat is like playing russian roulette, and getting rickrolled is a good ending.

I saw this on Reddit, and I’ve got to agree with the points here.

Veilguard is written to talk directly to you, the player, as a player, instead of talking to Rook as a member of that world. Rook is not a character that you become or form in some way, they are a puppet the games wants you to simply pilot around as its way of interacting with you directly.

You, the player, see and hear Spite even though Rook can’t. You hear the things in-game that only Harding can hear because you are the player so of course you can. That’s how you, the player, know it’s Real and Happening instead of having to wonder if maybe your companion is hearing voices in the not-good way. Varric is dead in the game, before all these events happen, and yet he’s still narrating to you, the player, because everyone likes Varric. In DA2, he was narrating to Cassandra. It was the framing device. But here? Who, in game, is he supposed to be talking to? No one, because he’s dead. He’s talking to you, the player. The fourth wall is gone.

Back in Action!

I once saw @dreamweave01 say that the Woven Ties gang would get back into crime-fighting someday, and this image popped into my head and has stayed there rent free ever since. It would take time, but I really like the idea of all of them eventually healing enough to not only start vigilantism again, but also enjoy it!

I have enjoyed this AU so very much, you have no idea. The story, the characters and their designs, the art, the writing: It's all fantastic!

I was just wondering, if you’ve never showed them before, is there any chance we could see your collection of Transformers figures? As a collector myself, I love seeing which ones other people have, and I’m sure others would as well.
