Do not accept candy from strangers
Danny made a lot of stupid decisions in his life, several, so many that he couldn't even begin to count them, but according to him that was great when it came to learning from his mistakes.
So, it's no wonder that on his one day off he decided to do everything he was told not to do:
1. Leave Amity
2. Reveal himself to the world
3. Accept things from a stranger
The first 2 were reasonable, considering the situation with the GIW and how 80% of the population did not believe ghosts existed, the last was a warning Jazz made sure to instill in him.
But Danny was dead (more or less), and what harm could it do to eat a candy or two? It's not like he could poison himself.
The answer was a lot of harm; Technically no one offered him the fallen Kryptonite on the ground (he just thought it looked delicious), and both Lex Luthor and Superman weren't paying attention to him during their epic battle or whatever.
So Danny just picked it up and ate it, well, ate several (Lex was throwing them away like a candy trail, the halfa had fun thinking of Hansel and Gretel), Superman looked worried as he heard "Lex's evil plans to surround him with Kryptonite."
But instead of finding a perfect circle surrounding him, he found a teenager, a young white-haired boy who was rolling on the ground and complaining of a stomach ache.
Danny could almost hear Frostbite's voice scolding him for eating candy off the floor, damn it, and some of the candy wasn't even pure! They looked manufactured and stale. Danny glared at Luthor before deciding it wasn't worth it and going back to his task of complaining.

I'm assuming you're no longer into pizza tower?
I dunno?
It’s not like I’m not into it anymore, I still love seeing art of them and will talk about it all the time with my boyfriend hehe, but it just hasn’t been on the forefront of my mind recently!!
If i’m being honest I’ve had a lot of stuff on my plate right now- i’ve been hanging out with my friends and enjoying my summer, getting into volunteering, and I have a temp job starting next week! I haven’t really had a huge fixation in a while….
But!! They’re still in the back of my mind as always!!

the timeline
If you've ever wondered just what the hell I was doing with the fics I was putting out and this timeline I kept talking about, this is what I meant lol
It's actually got quite a few more characters listed out to the right but for the sake of relevancy and size I just kept the first few columns.
The notes are either specific key events or (italicized) published fics. I started making this into an actual timeline sheet just a bit before I dropped out of the fandom entirely so I haven't been able to flesh it out as much as I like, but now that I feel like getting back into stuff I'm sure it will populate pretty quickly lol
Color meanings (majorly as relevant to Techno and his pov):
Maroon - Living in the Nether
Soft Green - Traveling with Phil
Yellow - Living in Hypixel
Blue - SMPE and the Antarctic Empire
Neon Green - DSMP
Red - If an MCM was held that year; If the character participated in an MCM that year
Black - Character is not yet born or is dead

These two mistakes are stealing your time... (They were stealing mine too!)
It can feel so disappointing to have a plan for your long-term goals written out and still feel like you are unable to achieve everything. I promise I've been there. There were two key mistakes I was making that were leaving me feeling overworked, and underproductive.
Mistake #1: Sleeping in.
I love being awake early... but I hate the act of actually waking up early. The relief that comes with knowing I'm up hours ahead of time, with plenty of wiggle room in my morning to get a head start on the day is amazing. All of a sudden, I realize my morning rush out the door doesn't need to be so stressful.
Sadly, that relief never makes the 5:00 AM alarm any easier.
The problem is that late nights lead to late mornings, and all too often I found myself rushing out the door unprepared for the day as the result of the previous night's pleasures and an extra hour of sleep. Don't get me wrong, it can feel great to sleep in on the weekend, but as my day has become less structured around a set "day job" schedule and more self-directed, I realized just how harmful the habit of sleeping in can be for an entrepreneurial lifestyle.
Many studies have led to the conclusion that our best ideas occur early in the morning and that we miss out on our most critical growth opportunities when we sleep in. I'm not saying that the early mornings are fun... I am saying that they are worth it.
Mistake #2: The cost of sacrificing high amounts of time into low-reward ventures.
As an entrepreneur, I understand the importance of casting one's net far and seeking new opportunities to learn and grow. However, sometimes your time is more valuable than what that opportunity itself may have to offer.
I recently accepted a minimum wage position (my first in years) on Saturdays, helping the owners of a small-town thrift shop set up their online sales channels. I didn't need the money, but I figured it was a great opportunity to explore online sales further as I had some experience with it already, and I loved the idea of helping another small business get off on the right track.
Unfortunately, I quickly learned that the two women who co-owned the business were not on the same terms about what they wanted long-term from the venture. Both had their own successful businesses on the side, and this little thrift shop was more of a hobby venture than one they truly wanted to see succeed.
Ultimately, it came to be that neither of them truly knew if they wanted an online sales channel at all! The six hours I spent there every Saturday was valuable time that I couldn't get back. While the idea of helping another business kick off was appealing upon a first impression, I realized that my time wasn't worth minimum wage in a place that clung to stagnation instead of capitalizing on new growth opportunities.
There will always be more opportunities than we can take — make sure the ones you do take are worth the time you will never get back.
What is the 12 week year?
7 ways to organize your life...
7 ways to reduce your screen time...

hi hi I read your tags on the Nie Bros revenge post ! Can you talk more about why you think NHS chose not to kill Jiggy with his own hands? I kinda thought it was always to keep his 'idk idk, I'm just a dummy" cover but now I'm thinking different. I would love to hear your thoughts
Hello! I'm so sorry it's been ages!
Well, yes! I'm sure he didn't want his plan to be uncovered even after it was over, considering how rumours and gossip works, and what they lead to. He would go from a sect leader seeking revenge to the Most Dangerous Man in the Jianghu and would have to bear all the consequences of it.
So I think killing JGY directly was never in his mind from the begining, not even as a plan b (which is what i'm sure 'tricking LXC into stabbing JGY' was).
I believe his plan consisted on letting Nie Mingjue's fierce corpse kill JGY with his own hands. To me it has always been about both destroying JGY's reputation and exposing his crimes and giving what was left of his brother's soul the one thing it desired.
If not from the beginning, then from the moment NHS realised this could be the only way to appease NMJ's shattered soul, to give him peace and let him rest, if such thing was possible.
...Which turned out not to be, but Huaisang did his best to stop NMJ from being sealed before he could kill JGY (and Su She). And although we can't really confirm that NHS brought NMJ to Yunping, Wen Ning did find fierce corpse NMJ near the temple some time after NHS himself was found.
So I really do believe that this was an important part of his plan, even if fierce corpse Nie Mingjue was a somewhat uncontrollable element, JGY's life was his to take.
