Brahms Heelshire x nanny!Reader

The boy watched you as you placed Brahms in its bed with the care of a mother. You've been looking after the doll for weeks now, treating it with such gentleness; he noticed it and it made him happy, proud of you. He liked you even more because of it. 

He's been watching you the entire time, peeking through the slits and gaps between the walls. Every time your hands held the doll's small form tight to your chest or each time your lips brushed its ceramic face for a goodnight kiss, he wished it was him instead of his fake counterpart. He wished to be touched like that, to be cared for like that… By you.

Despite his ardent and ever-growing fondness for you, he stayed back, hidden behind the walls, only coming out when you were outside in the garden or asleep in your bed. He was afraid you'd be scared to see him, scared of him. That you would run away, leave him alone… He would not be able to bear it. No. You were his. His y/n. 

He'd stay hidden for you, content to watch you and admire you from a distance… fantasising about your touch, your warmth, your lips... 

You leaned down and gave the doll the mandatory goodnight kiss, drawing Brahms's attention back to you. A soft groan left his lips at the sight. Everything you did aroused him. It was an instant reaction. Even at that moment, he could already feel himself growing… 

"You know, Brahms?” 

His ears perked up at the sound of your voice. He eagerly leaned in against the wooden panel in the hope of hearing you better. 

“Sometimes I wish you were a real boy so that we would keep each other company in this big, scary house." 

You admitted with a little smile on your lips as you caressed the cold doll's face, and he almost lost it. He would have punched through the wall and wrapped his arms tight around you, right there and there, if only he could. Would you have accepted him? Without reservations? He had just heard you say you wished he was real… Would you have been happy to see him? To see that he was, in fact, very much real and just as desirous to keep you company.

The melodious sound of your chuckle drew his attention back to you, and he saw you shaking your head in amusement before you tucked the doll in and retreated towards the door to leave the room. 

Brahms ran after you without even a second thought, rushing through the maze behind the walls to follow your path.

You made it to your bedroom and started undressing yourself to get ready for bed. His breath caught in his throat; the sight of your bare body always made him twitch in need. Oh, how he would love to strip you out of your clothes at least once... His probing eyes raked over your curves, his breathing becoming ragged, while you slipped into your nightgown and crawled into your bed with a tired sigh. 

The light went out, and he hissed. It was difficult to watch you with the entire room enveloped in pitch-blackness, but at least he could make out your faint silhouette since that night the moon shone high in the sky, its kind rays gently illuminating your soft curves through the dark drapes.

He kept watching you for a while, making sure you fell asleep, making sure you were alright. 

As he was turning around to crawl back to his place and take care of himself, he heard a soft, muffled sound coming from your room. He immediately moved back to the hole to peek inside. 

You were stirring under the sheets. Were you having a bad dream? Or perhaps you couldn't fall asleep? 

He leaned in further, squinting through the gap in an attempt to see you better. More weak noises came out of you, causing him to frown in confusion. It didn't sound like you were in pain… But your breath came out in short gasps, as if you were having trouble with something.

Brahms felt his muscles tense up, his whole body urging him to follow his instincts and barge into the room to help you. 

“Ohh, f-fuck…f-fuck…”

The sound of your voice made him freeze on the spot, his eyes growing wide. He watched as your legs spread apart under the sheets and your body arched up slightly. He could see it clearly now; your arm hidden beneath the sheets, resting right between your thighs. 

It took all of his strength to hold back the deep grunt that was about to spill out of his mouth when he finally realised what was happening. His legs gave out, causing him to fall to the floor, but his hands muffled the thud by holding onto the wall, slowing down his fall.

He leaned his forehead against the wooden panels, his breathing shallow and his body trembling in restraint. His hand tentatively reached for his pants, while the other rested on the wall in front of him for support. He had to bite down on his lips to muffle a moan the moment he palmed himself from above the fabric. His bulge twitched, desperately screaming for attention but he knew he couldn't answer… He would make too much noise… and alert you… Scare you… No… He couldn't risk it… He had to wait… Wait until you finished and fell asleep… Only then… Only then he could… 

Reluctantly, he tore his hand away from his pants and rested it on the wall as well, going back to focus on the sight of you. Your voice was growing louder, and each single moan and whimper that escaped you went straight to his throbbing erection, making him grit his teeth. Gentle dom! snape headcanons

Hi im procastinating the number of requests in my inboxes so until I get around to them, have another headcanon post to tie you over.

I've written quite a bit of sub!snape fics that now I'm starting to miss dom!snape.

I'd like to preface this by saying that these are obviously just headcanons. Personally, I think severus is likely very sexually reserved, due to both trauma and honestly, isolation. I don't see him as being this overtly sexual person, as everything within him from canon, in books and the movies, shows him as very conservative and reserved. His clothing, his skills in occlumency, his facial expressions... everything about himself is very, reserved and controlled.

So I find that important to preface this by saying, that anything specifically kinky, especially dominant, would take a lot of time and patience coming from sev. I think at first, sex would definitely be more gentle, passionate, loving thing, if not a tad bit submissive.

However after awhile, once he becomes more comfortable, I can see him beginning to get more confident with his sexuality and more sure in the fac that you really want him. I can see his nerves slowly fading away into that kind of repressed longing and desire that he's denied himself for so long. I can also see him enjoying this because his whole life, he was so powerless. I mean, constantly being used as a pawn in a game that was bigger than him, obeying a different master.. ♡ riddle tries his best to work on his temper, he really does. but of course, he still can't control his anger sometimes. maybe it's because of someone breaking a rule again. maybe it's because of his mother hurting him with her words again. maybe it's because everything is just.. too much for him and he feels overwhelmed even though he'd rather deny it and say that he's fine, because what else could you possibly expect from a dorm leader? and when that happens, you are here to gently calm him down or let him express his frustration and anger, it really depends on what would be better for him at the moment.

♡ if it's the first one, you hold riddle in your arms and softly tell him to take deep breaths, in and out. you slowly pat his head as he does so and you can feel just how fast his heart is beating. his face starts feeling a bit less hot, he finally remembers where he is and what's going on and his anger goes away, even if it's just for a moment. and if it does come back, you still stay with him no matter what. you know that riddle doesn't want to hurt you and if he mentions feeling ashamed and being afraid of doing something bad to you in this state, you hold his hand and tell him that you trust him.  

♡ if it's the second one, you and riddle go to his room and you just let him do whatever he needs to let his feelings out. of course, there are some limits and exceptions and you make sure riddle doesn't accidentally hurt himself in the process or hurt anyone that dares to come in. when he finally feels a bit calmer and looks around while breathing heavily and trying to process everything, you ask him what he needs right now. does he want to be left alone? does he want you to hug him? you make sure riddle feels safe and doesn't worry about anything. if he broke something in the process.. well, he can probably just use magic to fix it, right?

ruggie bucchi.

him taking care of you:

♡ if you ever say that you feel like a burden to him, ruggie doesn't want to hear it. why? because he would always choose taking care of you over doing stuff for leona. he doesn't care about you not looking perfect today and he won't care about it tomorrow or any other day. when he hears about what you're going through, you blaming yourself for not having any energy to get out of bed or take care of your appearance, sounds so.. weird to him. how can you still say that you're the one in the wrong in this situation? he just sighs, shakes his head and ruffles your hair while saying that you should be grateful for him being here for you. he's not being serious, of course. 

♡ if you don't have any energy to do chores or you're sick, he's totally okay with doing them for you. if you say anything about feeling guilty or if he hears you trying to offer your help, he doesn't let you finish. he's doing it not because he's your servant or because he owes you something. he just loves you a lot and wants you to know that. and if making your day a little bit easier is what he can do to show his love for you, he's more than okay with doing exactly that.

♡ he can't say that he's good at giving advice or understanding other people's emotions or anything like that, but if you need to vent, go on, he'll listen. he will nod, he will act surprised, he will make funny (and not really) comments, because even if he doesn't know how to solve your problem and even if he doesn't know how to show that he cares, he wants you to know that at times like these, you can still ask him for help and support. you've saved him so many times before and you don't even know about it. let him do the same for you just as many times as you did.

♡ ruggie may act like he has a lot of requests and that he can never be satisfied, but actually, he doesn't need as much as he likes to say he does. you buying him some donuts or giving him headpats always does the trick. you still love spoiling him though and if he's tired, you're always okay with letting him lie on your lap and talk to you or just take a nap, if he wants. you like buying him gifts even if he doesn't ask for anything, you love to see his reactions too much. he always gets shocked at first, but then he gets so excited, you can't help but smile because of how cute he is.

♡ you always notice if something is wrong and if ruggie is not feeling so good, you're always there to ask what happened and help him in any way you can. honestly, you're so good at noticing him try to hide his feelings, it scares him actually. he wishes he was better at fooling you and making you believe that everything is alright, but.. of course, ruggie has his problems too. of course, his life is hard too. but you being there to listen or to just give him the tightest and warmest hug that you can give him is everything that he needs at moments like these.

♡ if ruggie needs to let his feelings out, you'll be there and support him. you'll listen to everything he has to say. if he tries to laugh it off or says that it's actually not that serious, you give him the look that lets him know that you won't let him run away so easily and he has no choice but to admit that he's been not doing great. even if it's just him being tired from running around and doing errands, you still listen to his every word and make sure ruggie knows that you care. because you know that even something as small as this can make ruggie's day or maybe his entire week.

♡ jamil knows how hard it can be sometimes, so if you're having any problems, if you're going through something really bad, you can rely on him. no, you are not being annoying, that's kalim's job. you can just sit down and talk about everything that's been going on while he makes you some warm tea, but still listens to you and nods and tells you to continue. even if you cry, even if you show how angry you are, he'll listen. if you can't hold back your tears, he will hold you as you cry while telling you that it's okay. and no, he doesn't mean it in a "everything will be okay" kind of way. he can't make promises like that. but he means it in a "it's okay for you to cry and be honest with me and show your vulnerable side to me because i promise that i won't hurt you and i won't betray you" kind of way.

♡ and he really does mean it. sure, jamil is.. u-uh, not perfect. but when he says that he will never betray you, that he will never stab you in the back, that he will never use you, he means it. when it comes to doing those things to other people to protect you though- okay, okay, fine, he'll stop himself there. however, he still often feels like he has to hide some things from you because he doesn't want to worry you or make you feel sad. but he still expects you to always tell him if you need his help or if you've been struggling lately. yes, he knows it's selfish. please forgive him for that.

♡ jamil is very patient with you. you're not a burden to him. you're not a nuisance. if you think he's being too quiet while you vent to him, it's not because he doesn't care, but because he wants to let you express your feelings, because he knows how often you tend to bottle them up. your every word matters to him and he wants to hear about everything that's been bothering you. he'll try his best to come up with a solution and give you some kind of advice. if he can't do that, well.. maybe he can at least keep you company, if you're okay with that?

you taking care of him:

♡ you know that jamil can get so, so tired of everything. and you can't even blame him. you understand him so well. so you just want to be there for him when things get rough. when he feels like he can't control his feelings anymore, when he's tired of pretending like everything's fine, when he feels like nobody will ever notice or truly appreciate his efforts, you gently put your hand on his shoulder and remind him that you care. if no one else does, at least you care. and that's already enough for him, because you are the most precious person in this world to him.

Yes, hi, anon. I am still on break — that mostly just means I won't be doing any requests or posting much writing for a week or so. However, I'm more than happy to answer questions.

I mean, I'd say it's pretty easy? But, I guess that depends on the media you are consuming. I mostly read comic books. Some people only read fanfics and most writers aren't going to specify which timeline/version of a character they use. I've stated a couple times that I write Kon inspired by 90s Kon for the simple fact that "Conner" is not the Kon I know ( or really care for. the yj show burned a bridge here. 💔 )

As for Tim — from what I've seen across my fyp, requests, messages, etc. Most people ( including myself, depending on the post ) tend to focus on Tim's awkward, logical, weird nerd self.

However, I used to have a couple posts based on 90s Tim ( Who I love because he was just a little shit starter, ngl. )

So here's a.. I don't know, break down of sorts for 90s Tim.

• He was sarcastic as living hell, had a super dry sense of humor. Incredibly blunt. Had absolutely no issue calling anyone out or anything. His inner monolog was actually just him being a manace.

• I don't really know where socially awkward, weird Tim came from? I don't know where it started but I can't say I haven't written him like that lol but, He was actually very socially comfortable? Like, he masked like hell. Tim had ( still has, I'm pretty sure ) trust issues, controll problems, he was snippy but he was still emotionally closed off to people. Which, that isn't new for any of them.

• He was straight up MEAN. Like — I'm pretty sure one of his biggest hobbies was poking and prodding and pressing buttons to piss people off as much as he could. Plus, Tim was VERY, VERY MORALLY GREY! He was a manipulative little shit when he saw he needed to be. He did what he thought needed to be done, whether it was good or bad. He was pretty cold hearted and ruthless when it came down to it.

• He wasn't afraid to pick at someone's weaknesses, even in a normal social setting. He thought some pretty sharp things, tbh. And, being hurt is different for all of them — like.. Jason gets angry, Damian well.. he's Damian all the time, Dick usually got quiet and dealt on his own. Tim, on the other hand, would cut deep and hurt you right back.

• I'm not going to use clapping emojis but I need people to see this as well: Tim was incredibly fucking independent. He did not want or need to rely on the batfam for support. He was self sufficient — he literally had his own base, his own tech, his own system. He had no problem working ALONE.

• Tim also ( this may still be true 🫠 I have not seen anything recent ) had issues with his place among the others. Which furthered the emotional cut off.

• He was also a little bitch to his friends. He fought with Kon CONSTANTLY — it wasn't always straight up mean fighting but sometimes it was. Tim had an ego and was pretty smug about himself. Not to mention he lied to them about missions and stuff — same thing as batman's 'well I did it for the mission'. He kept Bart, Cassie, Kon, etc etc. At arm's length and let's be honest, he just wasn't great at being a friend in general.

because i love TimSteph for the reasons you listed!! there's something very unhealthy and teen girl-ish in the way Steph approaches relationships. she's angrily jealous and she thinks about Tim in a possessive way. like she is just so consumed by him and it's meant to be male comic writers writing how they think teen girls write about boys in their diaries- but it comes off as incredibly toxic. it's one of her deepest character flaws and what endears me so much to 90s Steph. she throws herself so deeply into romance when she has it, like she's afraid if she lets go of it for even a second it's going to leave her. and god forbid you be the person she falls for bc you will never maintain a healthy relationship with someone she views as competition, she *will* sabotage it. and to me these are all pros of her character. i *like* seeing how vigilantes struggle to maintain normal relationships- *especially* teenage vigilantes. Steph struggles to balance her "regular" life with being Spoiler and what things deserve a Stephanie Brown reaction and what things deserve a Spoiler reaction. and when she's dating, it's almost *always* going to be a Spoiler reaction and she shades her relationships through that lense. it's why civilian partners for Steph never really interest me. (besides the fact they always feel forced and clunky, like Steph's recent think with Maps' older brother?) it doesn't explore the way Steph loves to her fullest extent and how far she goes when she's into someone. there's no sweet puppy love for Steph, when she's all in, she's *all* in. she will do what she thinks is best for Tim oftentimes by her own will without his knowledge or approval, and sometimes massively fucks things up for him. bc she's just so wrapped up in what she believes is best, consequences are secondary.

and sure, she maintains healthy friendships. bc most fodder with StephCass is very healthy and soft. bc it's a *friendship*. and it changes radically when Steph is involved romantically. it's why there's such a difference in how Steph regards Tim when they're just friends as to when they were dating. she loves him and he's always going to be important, but that obsessive passion isn't what drives them anymore. so it's something you have to consider with *any* Steph ship in which it's a character she's had a friendship with- that how she interacts with them as a friend doesn't necessarily inform how she'd regard them as a lover. and that's the issue with StephCass. even the StephCass content that *is* comics informed (tho, a lot of it isn't and while i don't think fanon needs to be based on the comics to be good, i do think Steph and Cass are difficult characters to tackle if you aren't at least semi-familiar with their canon content bc of how warped they are in the fandom-) comes off with such a rose-colored lense that sours it for me. hell, even on Cass' side, things she's *canonically* done have been weird and obsessive about Steph. but that's never explored.

(tbh dare i say it's something to do with the phenomena in fandom that yuri is morally pure and perfect and yaoi is always dirty and bad- there's this almost sanitizing of sapphic ships sometimes to make them perfect and cute together and while i'm not here to yuck someone else's yum, i do think it's *telling* that women in fandom never get to explore the complex depths of unhealthy and toxic love in the way men do bc if you make a woman evil, it's misogyny. if you sexualize a woman too much it's misogyny. if you write her doing morally fucked up things even with the understanding it is her canon character, it's misogyny and you're villainizing her. i can sit here and say Tim is canonically shitty at relationships and ppl will not. if i say the same about Steph, then i'm critiquing a woman and holding her to an unfair standard. it's exhausting. it feels like StephCass only ever exists to depict Steph and Cass as morally pure and in love angels kissing in the background while the men get to do complex and nuanced and fun things in the foreground. this thought has probably been far more explored by others with more developed nuance on it, but i just wanted to point it out bc it's a very real thing i keep seeing *especially* in the Batfam fandom-)

and equally i think Cass' reaction to this intensity and obsession from Steph could be interesting. Cass historically has had poor reactions to knowing everyone is attracted to her and thinking about her, so that level of intensity i think could cause some negative reactions out of Cass that would add some very layered conflict to the ship. some of Steph's most negative traits *do* clash with Cass' wants and needs. it makes the ship more fun! it puts Steph's flaws on display as well as Cass' flaws and her internal issues surrounding romance. StephCass could be so weird and fucked up. but it's been defanged by this fandom in a way that turns me off to it. i love both Steph and Cass and i love exploring sapphic Batfam ships, so it *should* work for me. but the irony of it being popular in anti spaces combined with no one being able to acknowledge the flaws either of these characters have for the sake of making them kiss just. bores me and it's sucked any interest i could have out of it. bc god forbid women just be a little fucked up. </3

One of my favourite things about writing Kanej is writing them describing each others eyes, but I do sometimes feel like I'm running out of ways to say it and have to get more creative each time. This little...well at first like anyone else he would trick and play pranks on you. When he first played a prank on you he expected you to be confused or annoyed. He well...he didn't think you would end up crying because of the prank.

Because of this, he ended up feeling pretty guilty about it. So pranks were something he wouldn't do to you. Well, he'd still prank Miu, Gonta, Shuichi, and the others.

So instead he'd tease you! Not nearly as bad as a prank so this would be fine right? Well, it seems not you'd also get upset from the teasing as well. What a horrible boyfriend always making you cry smh. 🙄

But over time he'd come to realize this was just how you were and to keep the pranks and teasing to a minimum or stop all altogether if that's what you wanted. However, in his heart he couldn't stop teasing you he just had to see your cute flustered face!

I feel like Kokichi would at first act annoyed by how clingy you are. But in truth, he loves it oh so much. He loves how you feel comfortable and safe to hold hands and hug him.

In truth, it probably also made him a little overprotective of you. But seeing your smile and just the fact you've stuck with him. Means the world to him and he wants nothing more for you to be safe and happy.

Nagito

"Huh? Why would want to hug trash like me?" This mf I swear it never stops with him 🙄. He knows you're clingy but he still doesn't understand as he puts it to hug. "Trash like me."

(Tbh he should know the answer because he's your boyfriend!) Even though Nagito says things like this he loves how clingy you are with him. Plus in my opinion, he'd be great to cuddle with just look at that hair! It's so soft!

I feel like if you don't see Nagito for a while or if he's with his friends. You can get pretty jealous and even more clingy! If he is talking with someone you'll go up and hug him from behind.

Honestly, if you were to cry or ever feel insecure Nagito wouldn't allow you to feel that way for long. You're his S/O you're amazing and are such a great person! He'll love you no matter what so don't be afraid to tell him anything.

In his eyes, you're an angel and he thanks his luck he was able to be with you. If you ever are feeling down have no fear Nagito is here! He wants you to be happy so if you're feeling down he can be just as clingy!

Let's be real. Realistically, every time we see Mikoto it might as well be a different alter.

Does that make for an easy-to-follow narrative? No. Is it what the authors intended? Not likely, but also this is a game all based around perception and life experiences.

"Mikoto" and "John" as we know them are functionally made up by the audience (and thus Es) for narrative flow. Just like how ppl w DID irl are generally assumed to be "themselves," as in their body's name/main identity. Whether you're singlet or plural, the "you" in someone else's mind is a tiny piece even to your closest people. They see you through a special lens all their own, and these interpretations reveal more about the viewer than anything (not that that is a "bad" thing; it just is). Every individual consciousness is a different lens. You really can't know shit about any system unless you ask within the system, even w alters in your own brain. Mikoto hasn't had enough time to process his different parts yet, so it's wholly ambiguous.

Oblivious as we are, we've noticed a bit of friction surrounding how people view Kayanosys and tbh it makes us kinda sad; but the subject matter is touchy, so it's understandable. In my humble opinion, while they give us many clues as to "who's who," it's all still purely hypothetical. And it's fun to guess and theorize and even make shit up! You wouldn't do it to a real system but Milgram is not real; all respectful interpretations of 09 are valid in my book.

Personally I like the idea that he has more alters than just who we see, and I like interpretations of Mikoto/John/Kataboku as their own people. I also like completely ambiguous interpretations, and everything in-between bc if we wanna be Really Realistic, there's no end to the possibilities whatsoever, especially with as little info as we have so far.

This makes writing him So Difficult for me, but it only adds all the more layers to why I love these characters so much. I am so so sick of being a system sometimes, but it's a complex worldview that few experience and even fewer fully grasp. Plurality deserves to be talked about openly and with patience, and I couldn't be happier that Milgram even dares talk about them to such a large audience.

The reasons to talk about these things, after all, won't go away even if we do stop talking about them. I'm not gonna say "it all happens for a reason," but we certainly have words to describe such experiences for many reasons. I feel like we all need to stop being afraid of not fully understanding things. I certainly don't understand a lot, but I understand a small handful of things that many do not. Sharing helps us understand more, even if we miss the mark sometimes.

HI! Okay so you had me a whole day just THINKING and I kept forgetting to write stuff down but I was able to sit down and finally put it all down! I just hope it isn’t a complete mess hehe

Farfa and Dream interactions! So! I only have very scattered ideas on how each member interacts with Dream and George. HOWEVER. The way I have it in my head, most members, in the beginning, do try to be friendly with Dream because….that's the “plan”. They want to get buddy buddy with him. (Though they don't help their case with how much they mess with Sapnap during this time pft) This then leads to a lot of them being….weary of Dream. He's scary! Very serious, and always giving then a stone cold glare! I imagine people like Piru, Goncho, and Vandal are put off by Dream the most hehe. They miss messing with Sapnap and now hes got this really scary guy hiding him from them :(

Serpias is the one who breaks through to Dream first, yes, but that's cause he's smart enough to use Dream's evident love for Sapnap as a bonding moment (they both love him so so much!!)

Farfa though!!! Thats not how he gets through to Dream. We know that Farfa is directly under ElRich and that means he's VERY well aware of the hardwork a Don has to go through and is basically taking up a lot of the work for ElRich. Dream didn't really have a person like Farfa in his own family. Yes, he had George and Sapnap, but Dream was extremely hesitant giving them more work. He took on more than he let on…

When Farfa finally visits Dteam in the basement after the first time (when he delivered them lmao), it's with a stack of papers. Sapnap knows what it is, anytime he was with Farfa he was always doing paperwork, he rarely ever went out with Farfa. It reminded him of Dream. Sapnap remembers thinking he'll have a stern talking to with Dream about how much work he's actually doing after realizing how swamped Farfa is sometimes…..(that never happened though, he had forgotten after he “annoyed” Farfa that day)

And Dream. Well he IS confused why Farfa is bringing probably very important documents into a room where 2 of the 3 other people in this room do Not like him. George is. Uninterested to say the least. (He HATES paperwork. This kidnapping is the smallest blessing cause he doesn't have to do actual paperwork anymore) Sapnap, well…….he likes being with Farfa during these quiet moments(he even gets to help sometimes!)…but…..well…..it feels Wrong to enjoy the moment…..he really wants to though :(

Dream stays his usual guarded self. He's aware of Sapnap being restless that Farfa is here, for reasons he's going to prod Sapnap for later….but for now, he's trying to eye what work Farfa is actually doing. If he can get some info on what's happening, business relations, numbers, ect… and well….his work addicted ass is not the most subtle trying to stretch his neck to see the papers. And Farfa is very well aware of peeking eyes lmao

“Dream, quieres ver?”

Sapnap jumps, George already has taken to another nap, and Dream…..well he just knows Farfa said his name, just not what followed after. Dream will go back to being cold and uninterested. Farfa will chuckle to himself, organize the papers back in his hands, and then take his leave, without another word. The familiar click of the lock the last thing they hear.

“What did he say?”

“If…if you wanted to see…”

Dream gives Sapnap the most confused face but Sapnap will not meet his eyes. Sapnap knows this is exactly what Farfa did with him before they got really close. He was just way more naturally curious but didn't want to get in trouble….And he knows Farfa wasn't the most fond of him when he first joined but, Farfa had asked if he wanted to see and was so patient with him, explaining everything, even stuff that wasn't Sapnap's expertise…. Now Sapnap knows this is Farfa's way of getting closer. Sapnap will not mention this. He…knows Dream. And Farfa. He can predict what might be happening. He just wants everyone to play nice…he tries very hard to hide the increasing guilt of this. He's letting his Dream fall into their hands. And Sapnap does want that to happen but he also knows that's /bad/. They should be trying to escape …not forming bonds….but…

Sapnap will continue to stay quiet. And if he witnesses Dream get more and more comfortable with Farfa. To the point both of them are figuring out paperwork together. Both of them in each other's space trying to work. Well. Sapnap will enjoy and pretend that nothing is wrong.

And when much time has passed and Farfa is leading Dream to ElRich, the Don. Someone who Farfa has spoken fondly of to Dream many times by this point. He doesn't feel as stressed as maybe he should be, just the extreme exhaustion tugging and dragging him down. And before they enter the office, Farfa will hold his hands and will quietly whisper everything will be fine. And Dream will nod, straighten himself and be prepared to speak with this Don who stole everything from him.

(Even though by this point, it doesn't even feel like that anymore. He isn't stupid and knows the small help he's been giving Farfa has been for his own old territory. Giving more and more help as time passed by because he's so tired. Farfa is showing him good news. And maybe his trust in Farfa grows and grows. The mutual respect they have for each other as very hard working people. Both being able to understand the complexities. Knowing if it came down to it, he could trust Farfa with everything.)

And when Dream wakes up in someone else's bed, Farfa at his side. It'll click that this end result was his plan. Dream won't feel duped, tricked, or even slightly annoyed. It's the softest way anyone has taken anything from him, if he can call it that. Farfa will notice Dream is awake and see him with a soft smile staring at Farfa.

But like, that's just soft farfadream stuff! We're here for more angst! Because you brought up Sapnap and Q and I still don't know how to write I have everything in mind for when those two meet up again,

I did have a kind of premise already! And with your suggestions, im just gonna steal bits and pieces to develop it more(though a lot of that wont be mentioned here! I have lots of plans now heh)

And since this is more Dream focused, I'll keep the details more limited to what Dream might know about the situation. And it's that after a while of George and Dream bonding with the Team, the two getting closer to particular members in their own ways, finally being let out of the basement, the trust between everyone being at an all time high! (well. hm. anyways.)

Well that means. Getting back to work for those 3 (much to George's dismay). And while Dream has already been helping out with Farfa and ElRich with a lot of things, this means a more….public display of Dteam. What better way then hosting a fight with their beloved prized fighting dog! Dream (and George's) rumors of being dead have turned into maybe actually being alive?? Its all very mixed in the underworld tbh, what everyone knows solidly is that Team Mafia had something to do with it.

Dream is….not sure about it really. He's never liked Sapnap participating in the fights himself, always thought it too risky. But he does know Sapnap is extremely good at it, excels at it (loves the thrill of it). And the Team have been wax poetic-ing about Sapnap's fights when with the Team. They're already saying it's gonna be one of the biggest events of the year.

While Dream isn't partial to big events and showing himself off, much rather stay behind the scenes and pull the strings, something about reannouncing himself….well he can see the appeal. (Maybe he's letting all the Team fawning over him get to his head a lil heh)

He knows George is excited about seeing their enemies faces when they appear with the Team at this fight. So he guesses he can indulge a little!

There's a lot of planning, security, ect, ect. What Dream doesn't manage to find out is who Sapnap is fighting or which opposing group that's gonna be against them. Not that Dream is necessarily worried about who it'll be, just odd that they're keep it from him. Farfa let it slipped that…it's a surprise, like a present! Dream eyes him, “last time I was the present…..”

Haha anyways! We're gonna skip some things since a lot of it is Sapnap focused (and his ever amounting guilt and anxiety :^) and we can yap about the details of everything another time heh

So we'll skip to when the last fight is finally gonna be announced and Dream can't say he is the most surprised that it'll be against Q and one of his fighters (Foolish! Dream is familiar with the idiot) Now regular wrestling and boxing matches are usually based on weight classes, but this is an underground fight where people love seeing the bigger squash the smaller, the unfairness of it all. It's why Sapnap is so hugely popular as a participant. He is….small :3 but he has the viciousness that the crowd goes crazy for. Dream is a little more than pleased at Farfa and ElRich choosing the opponent to be someone that is so hugely hated in his old(now merged) family. Ya know, just a lil happy with them ;3c

(Of course, Dream doesn't know about the meeting Q had with ElRich a way while back. Doesn't know how ElRich is using Q's previous request to buy Sapnap off of them as a means to get Q to agree. How the bet between them is that if Sapnap loses he goes with Q.)

Anyways, the fight is shaping to be an amazing event! Can't wait to see what happens :^D

hello! as a huge fan of ur works i was inspired to write something of my own but im struggling to get L & light's voices down, in both exposition and dialogue, theyre so tricky! 😭 would you have any tips youre willing to share? 💖💖

Oh my fucking God I'm so flattered I'm going to crumple up into a little ball and die you let me know the second I can read whatever u got going on my dms are open

Here's the biggest single piece of advice I can offer you: can you hear their voice actors read the line you just wrote in your head. That's the one I always end up harkening back to. To get a good sense of this, make sure you know the material. Interpret the way the characters say things and deduce how this adds to the person they are beneath everything explicitly stated or shown. Watch the series a couple times, maybe focusing on episodes that the character you're struggling with features strongly in. That sort of thing. I use this in every fandom I've been in that has voice acting. This applies to exposition as well, although that's always a bit more nebulous and can really come down to personal style.

Character specific... Let's see...

L - Be an asshole. State everything eloquently, but basically as plainly as possible and do not pull any punches. His vocabulary tends to be a bit higher-class than pretty much everyone else in the anime, aside from maybe Watari. Lots of SAT words and synonyms for common words. ("I understand" instead of "got it" like Ryuk would say. But don't overdo it, he still speaks like a human being.) Do not hold back on the snark, he's a fucking dick and even more so when he doesn't have to watch his words for cooperation purposes. If you can fit the occasional pun or two in there, do it, you KNOW the scene where he shows a penchant for wordplay and I'm inclined to believe that wasn't out of left field for him. He's constantly cracking himself up and no one else, and he doesn't care, because any jokes he makes are for him. If Light's involved in the scene, have L fixate on him. In the anime, he's CONSTANTLY poking Light, asking questions, and trying to get him to engage. If I'm translating this into prose, I usually take his POV as the opportunity for the most fucking detailed obsessive descriptions of Light I possibly could want to do. (If L describes literally nothing else about his surroundings and all you can envision is a white room, HE WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW LIGHT'S EYELASHES ARE LOOKING.) He also tends to notice little details about others, to be fair, but far less frequently lol simply because he doesn't give enough of a shit to catalog them.

Light - He's a lot trickier for me, tbh. I'll do my best. He tends to avoid slang, but I don't think he goes out of his way to, and he's not afraid to cuss for emphasis, but otherwise he keeps his mouth clean. Other than that, his word use is very average and unremarkable (he pays a lot of attention to not being noticeably weird, even though he's super hindered in that goal by virtue of the fact that he's a fucking weirdo 😭 he's got most of the superficial stuff down, tho). His emotional thought process (and thereby descriptions) depends on where exactly he is in his Kira journey, sliding scale of arrogant but legit sweetheart to full on Regina George. He is kind of a bitch regardless, but he'll be very very polite if it's good for him to do that. He's a hardcore rationalizer, and sometimes he's right, but sometimes he's dead wrong and deploying it as a defense mechanism, which can affect the prose.

He's used to being the one who tries to get on other people's level to understand them better, and he'd get excited if you do the same for him. He's usually trying to be strong for others so it'd be nice if he can relax and be weak sometimes too

-loves football but would like to try out wrestling -loves trying weird foods like fermented things and bugs and stuff -doesn't like eating them necessarily, but at least trying them -he loves enjoying nature and the outdoors (cuz it's free)

Antoine…is just a troll lol. If Ryder likes to be funny to make other's laugh, Antoine will do things to make himself laugh and his sense of humor can be cruel…He cares about a few people close to him and nobody else really matters…He's usually pretty carefree but again he's someone who can be silly or serious when he needs to be. Those who get him get him and he won't make it easy to figure him out, but he'd be pleased if you can lol

-he's best at pitching but he prefers swimming -drives a pontiac firebird maybe?? depends if I can ever draw one tbh lmao -works out with a cable machine at home instead of free weights or going to the gym lol (for some reason that's funny to me) -if you do something embarrassing in front of him he'll never let you forget about it

Gabriel is a total loner loser lmao. He isn't well socialized so he can be awkward sometimes but if he's being weird or inappropriate he just…can't know or care to be ashamed about it lol??? These descriptions are so vague and weird idk if they're useful at all ToT…He has a bad reputation and he's not happy about it so he kinda just writes off having any type of relationship. He's afraid of getting close to others, but he's curious about people anyway. He doesn't have a lot of experience with anything that doesn't have to do with fitness or nutrition!!! But it means even the simplest things will be a fun and new experience for him…also he's not totally ignorant but he probably believes movies are more real than they are lol

I also tbh k people need to understand the concept of balance cause being silly/goofy 100% of the time and not letting yourself feel negative stuff can be just as harmful.

Like even in terms of KND fandom, one can point to phenon’s works/AUs. A lot of their fanfics capture the goofy essence of the canon show yet at the same time there’s subtext of very real and fucked up trauma and angst? One fic in their AU can be about the kids fighting senior citizen spirits obsessed with coupons then the next fic in the same AU just slams you with Fanny’s slow realization that she’s gay and all the baggage that comes with that. Like, don’t be afraid of the angst! Like you said, there are creators in this fandom that can do BOTH. Rejecting angst completely is insanely reductive.

idk phenon’s just an objective example cause im reading thru their entire AU crying (/pos) yet i see some people prop them up solely cause they think all they write is comedy and im like “…this dude has literally writing the most evil and disgusting interpretation of Father yet somehow is keeping him in-character with the show’s vibe and is racking up a body count of kid characters in the background of the narrative. This is so true and the sad thing is that I think the reason I get so much less attention than people like Zach (Phenon for those unaware) is because I make it clear how often I deal with sensitive topics, ESPECIALLY more sensitive and dangerous ones that aren't as common in media, which for some reason makes people think I'm some evil spirit trying to demonize their cutesy kids show and hate me LOL. I do write fluff sometimes but I've already gotten a pretty nasty reputation in the fandom from my no tolerance of bigotry/immorality vibe (which I've been told makes me appear "off putting"... Yeesh) and, of course, handling harsher topics... So people really try to ignore my content at this point and I've had a number of anon asks over the year tell me directly that they go out of their way to avoid my content in particular. I feel like that kind of avoidance is stupid, unless you're doing it because you're mentally unwell and can't handle the subject. But regardless of that, I still find it a bit silly. I don't JUST make edgy content, and I never had. There's numerous wholesome aspects in my storylines. But you make one piece of super sensitive content addressing a real life issue and now everyone is sending you death threats and shouting "_ WOULDN'T DO THAT!" because they believe everything is sunshine and rainbows and no one is allowed to make anything that suggests otherwise

yay thank you mimi!!! tbh i only read "linear," did a whole interpretation, opened the inbox, saw you were also open to the big ol compatibility spread, and peeked at the next four cards after this and they were bleak—which is to say i shuffled only planning to draw three, so linear it is.

the tower is one of the archetypal cards that gets a bad rap when it's written into popular media by non-tarot readers (most of the time including where you'll be soon in wano), but it's a matter of perspective. whose tower is it, and what was it built on? to me, it looks like the average scenery of any straw hat landing: screams as luffy and chopper eat pudding's cafe not even 10 minutes into arriving in totto land, or more thematically on point, sogeking shooting down the world government flag at luffy's command. the tower kicks off the final third or so of the major arcana that, to me, is revolutionary in character: the tower (destruction) and the star (hope), the moon (illusions and dreams) and the sun (truth), judgment and the world—three pairs of complements. so it all depends on who's seeing luffy topple towers. case in point that really endears him to me is hancock's reaction to hearing he punched a celestial dragon.

interestingly, the lovers' traditional assignment among the zodiac signs is the one that comes between you two: gemini, a pair of twins to match lovers in a garden evocative of adam and eve. but this signifying you… makes me think of a post i remember you posting about being used to being some sort of useful to other f/o's, while luffy is truly free and self-sufficient and simply chooses to surround himself with friends because he wants them there. he doesn't think like a shounen powerscaler on youtube, and seeks venusian (taurus) pleasures like music and food and laughter. the major arcana are sometimes called "the fool's journey" through the ages of man, and the reading of the lovers that interests me most has them mark a coming of age—as in, forming your own opinions outside of paternal and legal and ecclesial influence, and choosing your own company for the first time. some would call this a loss of innocence, if innocence is taking what you're given wholesale. i think it says that you, like luffy, value your own identity enough to enter a relationship without being afraid of losing yourself.

like the lovers, most minor arcana twos are lovely to see in a love reading, and the two of wands makes me think of luffy and zoro in the east blue—go with me here! okay! it's a restless card, on the precipice of a journey. in the more famous (in the west) illustrated deck, the two of wands looks like this, showing a singular figure between two wands, implied to be two paths they must choose between. i've only been part of lumimi nation for a little bit so i confess i don't totally know your s/ins lore, but i think the first writing i saw when i first followed you was set on rusukaina. if post-timeskip is meant to parallel the first half of one piece, what canon luffy lacks, especially in those last six months of his training where rayleigh ditched him (lmao?), is someone to plan and dream with like he did with zoro. that little piece of rusukaina really sticks out in my mind for lumimi because you looked at luffy at a crossroads and thought he could use company. that's so two of wands to me, much like oden and toki managing to have a family while traveling. it's always moving, but together.
