on today's blog post, we are going to talk about morning rituals and how they impact how the rest of your day will go. below will be 5 soft, soul nourishing morning rituals that'll transform your entire day before you even eat breakfast. with that being said, here's the 5 key rituals plus their benefits:
splash your face with cool water + say affirmations. this lets your body know that it's a new day and a fresh start. splash your face with water a few times and after each time say affs like "i am going to have a wonderful day today" or "i will remain positive today no matter what comes my way today".
express gratitude. for this morning ritual, it is essential because it sets a positive tone for your day. being grateful allows for more things to come into your life to be grateful for. expressing gratitude can include writing things down that you are thankful for or simply saying "thank you" out into the atmosphere.
gentle movement. whether it’s a 10-minute yoga session, stretching, or a quick walk, moving your body early boosts circulation and will improve your energy for the day.
prayer & mindfulness. this should be the most important step every morning. personally, i enjoy a few quiet moments to meditate, breathe deeply, and say a prayer. this helps to center your thoughts and align your spirit before the day even really begins.
avoid your phone for the first 30 mins after waking up. & last but not least on this morning ritual list is no screens after waking up! it is so important to give your brain a chance to wake up without the flood of notifications. this helps to get rid of any anxiety and keeps you grounded in your own energy.
your morning is a sacred space for setting the tone for your entire day. be intentional and open to positivity as you start your day. get rid of the worries from yesterday and engage in these morning rituals to have a good day well every day! best of luck to all of you. ☕️
