What does being embarrassed feel like? Well, our first feelings are always insecurity and to overthink. We worry about what others think of us. We worry about getting judged, to even overthinking what we said. I promise you that these people are too focused on their own life. They could even be just like you and overthinking what they said or did.
Why do we get embarrassed? A big part of our population are most likely people pleasers. We all care about what someone thinks about us. Whether it’s your parents, relatives, friends, bf/gf, etc. We also get judged a lot, from the day we came into this life. It’s hard to go from a pure and innocent child to a child scared of being judged. In conclusion, being scared of getting judged is why we get so embarrassed.
The mindset! In order to truly realize being embarrassed is an illusion, you have to walk with this thought. It has to become a life motto, not just that but a rule for yourself. You have to become committed and make sure you’re aware of this. If you get embarrassed and forget it’s an illusion, brush it off.
Validating yourself! One of the main reasons why we get embarrassed or afraid of being judged is, because we love praise. Praise from others that is, so start praising yourself. When you see yourself in the mirror, compliment yourself. Tell yourself the things you want to hear so badly from.

🧘‍♀️ what is yoga?
putting it briefly, yoga is a mindfulness and spiritual practice that connects the mind, body, and breath through physical movement and poses called “asanas.”
🧘‍♀️ benefits of yoga
yoga has some incredible benefits for both the mind and body, including:
reducing mental stress and calming the mind
improving flexibility and mobility
working and strengthening even the small muscles in the body
improving circulation and heart health
allowing you to be present and mindful
improving balance and coordination
activating or calming the nervous system
reducing body pain
improving range of motion and joint health
🧘‍♀️ different types of yoga
there are many different types of yoga, each with their own unique benefits. here are just a few you may start with:

restorative
🧘‍♀️ where do i start?
if you do not feel ready to go to a class or you do not have a studio near you, there are many classes you can follow on youtube! here are a few channels on youtube i really like:

🧘‍♀️ personal tips
start slow! i say this in all of my workout posts when i give advice, but i promise it is important. pushing yourself too far in the beginning will only injure you, so don’t be afraid to take it easy at first.
don’t judge yourself. it’s much easier said than done when you see people who have been practicing for years and seem like they can do everything, but everyone has things that they struggle with. i’ve been practicing yoga consistently for 5 years now and there are still things that i struggle with, so don’t be too hard on yourself.
going alone with the tip above, have a sense of humor about your journey. if you fall, it’s perfectly fine. it happens to the best of us! as long as you stay safe and get back up and keep trying, you’re doing great.
switch it up! as mentioned above, there are many types of yoga, and the ones i named are just a few. don’t be afraid to try different types! i used to hate yin because i found it even harder than the more flow-y sequences, but now it’s one of my favorites. it’s always good to get some variety in your practice and you may end up loving something you thought you would hate!

i rly love the pink pilates princess aesthetic so i thought i'd make a post on some habits that i've incorporated that rly fit this aesthetic. and improve my wellness in general.

THE PLAYLIST : for the pink pilates princess aesthetic i rly love to listen to music that makes me feel like a doll~ so the playlist aspect of this post is totally customizable and just suited to however u wanna feel. i listen to a lot of twice and sabrina carpenter when i work out. but listening to music just elevates the experience
THE NUTRITION : u dont have to do a complete 180 in the things that u consume, instead start implementing little by little, foods and drinks that'll improve ur health. bcuz u glow differently when ur glowing not only from the outside but the inside as well
kombucha - i totally recommend trying it if u haven't before. its kind of carbonated and u can get it in any flavors. kombucha in a nutshell is tea thats been fermented. it heals ur gut and contains lots of probiotics which are good for ur body in general
drink tea - drinking tea daily is so so so good for you. if ur a bit intimidated by tea start off with a tea 99% of people enjoy, spearmint/peppermint tea. idk many people who DONT like spearmint tea. its just an easy tea to enjoy and its RLY good for ur skin and ur body.
smoothies - look up smoothie recipes online! smoothies are so yummy and customizable so if u dont wanna directly consume ur veggies, you can get them in through a drink! its revolutionary. my go-to is strawberry and banana, bcuz its not only delicious and good for me, but its also pink which is the main reason
eat more salads, açai bowls, eat ur oats, drink ur smoothies and of course dont forget ur matcha
supplements - u can find wellness vitamins or supplements virtually anywhere. a brand that i rly recommend is ollie. im taking their hair skin and nails vitamins and they're lovely.

THE EXERCISE : if u go to youtube and look up follow along pilates workouts u can find SO many. use ur resources guys! if u try pilates and it isnt rly ur thing, try dance workouts or workouts for songs. try a workout challenge. working out doesn't have to be dull. the key is to find something that u enjoy doing and doing it consistently
SELF CARE : ofc the pink pilates princess prioritizes her self care time~ self care is just a good habit to incorporate period bcuz of the massive benefits on ur mental + physical + emotional state
do a face mask - hydrate ur skin guys
get ur nails done - the classic pink pilates princess nails are pale pinks and french tips
take a bubble bath - invest in a high quality bath bomb or bubble mixture that smells nice
invest in a gua sha
start oiling ur hair and putting in hair masks to keep ur hair healthy
write out what ur grateful for (self care isnt only physical)
GOING FOR WALKS : going for walks is amazing. walking improves cardiovascular health and reduces the chances of heart disease and strokes. i love to go for walks and listen to music or a podcast. just make sure that your walking in a safe space or with someone that u trust, especially if ur alone (stay safe <3) going for walks also helps clear ur thoughts!!

ATTIRE : buy clothes that make u feel cute and that make u feel good whilst working out! i like to wear a lot of pink when working out~ when i type pink pilates princess inspired outfits into pinterest i see a lot with leg warmers too! i think that having a cute outfit to workout in motivates u a lot to actually perform the actions and embody the wellness girlie aesthetic. cuz when u look the part -> u feel the part
and last but not least ENJOY urself and romanticize it, have fun <3

part 2: why do i even bother 😭
a.k.a. i have too many tabs open and not one of them is playing music 😔
i can't figure out what's wrong with 🚀 because i am building on top of sand and our documentation is 💩
call in senior colleagues
wait while they debate, trade custom emojis, and have a bro talk moment
propose a plan to fix 🚀 based on their info

had a really ambiguous and complicated meeting with my manager
intern raises a different issue with the project
investigate and end up finding ANOTHER issue 🌝
postpone internal testing meeting we were supposed to have today because it's just not possible anymore

a.k.a. daydreaming about the victory post i'm going to make when this project wraps
remember how i said i've never gotten to take a project from beginning to end? i always get stuff handed off to me like a hot potato?

I FOUND A WORM IN THE POTATO 😡😡

the point is the last person who touched this project keeps leaving me worms 🪱
whatever, the point is i figured out how to fix 🌝
BUT to get it to work, i need to fix 🚀 first
so i get my proposal approved and fix 🚀
and then loop in the intern to do the other half of the fix because i am so done right now ⚰️
💌: i need to schedule another vacation ASAP 😂 but while i might whine for ✨ dramatic effect ✨, i really am grateful to my colleagues who have to deal with me this with me 🥺 it will be over soon 🥲

Im starting to wonyoungism journey now to become the best version of myself.
I’ve been through a wonyoungism phase once before, but I grew into a deep depressing state in my life. This depressive state lasted for the last year. I’m starting to get better and decided I was happiest and healthiest while trying out wonyoungism.
I want to start doing it again, but I don’t want to stop. If you have any advice I’d love to know! My messages and ask inbox are always open! I’m new to tumblr as well, I have barely any experience.
I’m going to be posting advice and suggestions while also keeping my own progress on my page.
A few things about me:

- I won’t be posting a face or age reveal (im not a little kid)

One of the crucial aspect in the level up journey or personal development journey is to get your health right.
Physical, mental, emotional, spiritual etc.
No amount of willpower or dedication will help you to achieve your goals without setting them correct first. And if you did still at what cost?? And was it really as efficient as it should have been??
Simple example : You have an exam tomorrow with a plethora of syllabus to revise and you my sweetheart come down with a high fever. Will you be able to study as efficiently? You yourself have the answer and the strain it puts on your body is a matter of discussion for another time.
Hence, getting your health correct is essential starting with physical, mental and so on and so forth. Discipline does not emerge out of nowhere in full force it has to be implemented slowly and steadily.
