The Knight: Is a character archetype in stories that embodies chivalry, honor, and a strong sense of duty. I think the strong sense of duty is most previlent here. I think he would even be the King's Champion.

The Rebel: A character who challenges authority, norms, or societal expectations, often seeking change or liberation. After seeing all the pain and suffering from the villagers/those less fortunate around him, he would snap. Wanting to help them.

Simon reminds me of both Geralt and Sandor Clegane. I think he would do well both within a group setting (with his teammates) or going out and doing something indepedently.

I think Johnny is a bit of a difficult one, because he's both humorous - which can place him in the archetype of jokester & comedic relief. But maybe thast just makes him ... a wild card? Hence I think that' why people often give him the hybrid of werewolf.

God this man could fit into so many archetypes. He is just ... the perfect character. He can still have character development, however, he can still be put forward as a fully formed character. Romantic, loving, intelligent, mindful. He likes to sit back and learn about others. He's diligent in that way (hence the Underdog). I also think he's so wise. Especially for his age. And he feels the most magically inclined out of the rest of the men.

The Antihero: is an archetype is a character who lacks traditional heroic qualities but still engages in heroic actions. They often possess flaws, ambiguity, or morally gray motivations.

I think there are many different ways of looking at Konig. Physically he's a powerhouse - tall asf, a tad arrogant (only because of his voicelines), somewhat dramatic. But some have written him as toxic, others like to baby girl him. I think he's a bit similar to Simon but there's more distrust about him.

What would really be great is the task force as the Knights of the Round table. I think I could see Simon or Johnny as Arthur and Kyle or Price as Merlin (obviously Kyle as a young version like the BBC Merlin).

I can also see them as pirates! I actually want to write a Pirate! Task Force. Obviously Price as the Captain, Quartermaster is Simon, Kyle as Bosun (or Boatswain) and Johnny as the Gunner (makes things go boom!)

So, uh, I’ve been a little interested in cod recently and I may or may not have made three ocs for it…so, yeah! If y’all wanna see some pics of them, I’ve drawn them several times now. I’ll give y’all the backstory that I know about them so far if y’all want that too.(I will warn y’all that one of my ocs is in an ‘oc x canon’ situation along with being apart of a ‘found family’ situation. The other two are sort of background characters, but that’s only because that one oc is my favorite one, BUT I’ve still given them quite a bit of love and story, so I’ll post the pic of all three of them together along with their names. Let me know if y’all are interested in them.)

6’3. Price compares him to a wolf. All predator. Long strong limbs and the tendency to gather his operatives like a pack.

Has been married for 30 years to his wife Maggie. They have five kids. 27-year-old twin boys (Erik and Ewan), their 25-year-old daughter (Madeline), their 23-year-old boy (Arthur) and their 10-year-old oops baby, Alex.

After Shepherd’s betrayal and death, Price hands oversight control of the 141 to MacMillan. Price trusts MacMillan, implicitly, as his former Captain. MacMillan’s happy to have 4 of his best operatives back.

MacMillan’s never been the type of officer with something to prove. He’s in charge and everyone knows it. He rarely yells. He doesn’t dish out arbitrary punishments. But everybody knows when he’s pissed off. His temper is cold, and if you’re the one to piss him off? Like being burned by ice.

Edit to add: MacMillan was/is secretly a metalhead. Occasionally you can hear him blast music if you you pass his office in the evening. His wife was the singer for a metal band when she was in her early 20s.

Regarding the cod fandom discourse. It's legit sickening that the screenshotter who started this whole shit gets to just delete that call out post and live on while myka just...don't? I'm wholely ashamed that I followed (blocked now) that person and was the one who got me into this fandom. I mean, I was always aware that cod fandom had its fair share of toxicity, especially with what happened with the ghost cosplayer but seeing it first hand still shocked me.

I saw the original post and thought nothing of it? It wasn't even it that deep?? Looking at it doesn't scream racist?? It just shows which character the op thought the text post fits most? And if they think Gaz doesn't fit it, then they don't? Move on?

People should really just exercise blocking certain blogs and NOT interacting with it at all. No call out posts. No comments. Nothing. If you don't like it. Just ignore it and move on. Sorry you had to be the one to endure this rant.

Ain’t nothing to apologize over. We’re all equally upset over it in many ways, and for good reason. And you’re right. It wasn’t anything. There was nothing to be mad about. It was a shitpost, but god forbid you not include every single main character in it, apparently.

And truthfully, I also agree—just minding your own business in fandom isn’t that hard and it’s astounding that the newer members (young and old, but mostly young, it seems) joining any fandom just don’t understand it at all. The ego and lack of understanding that these are real people they’re interacting with boggles the mind. Truly, it never is that deep half the time, but somehow, someway, to some people it’s the greatest offense imaginable to just have fun.

The offenders usually get off much more cleanly and with less punishment than their victims, and as infuriating as it is, it’s happened often enough to be expected. The only upside is that this time, there seems to be a way to get them to be held accountable offline instead of them tucking tail and running away from their consequences.

But honestly—I’m tired, anon. The useless drama of fandom can only be novel the first few times. When it seems to happen every other week, it becomes trivial and pointless. Drama for drama’s sake is childish as much as it is dangerous, and has more than proven itself to be lethal. If only people would actually get it.

Totally not what I usually post as of recent, but… I feel like a bag of apples that was thrown at a wall but not hard enough to explode just hard enough to badly bruise and slightly crack

To put it in a more understandable way, I’m sick. I feel like death in a bottle, an old bruised banana. I’m sore as fuck and this is a bit gross, but there’s just phlegm (mucus) building up in my throat that is just sitting there.

Fun fact about me, I get sick… EASILY. I used to have a great immune system before moving and then it fucked me up. I never thought I had such terrible allergies, I didn’t think I could get Covid THREE BLOODY TIMES.

Anyway, expect some head cannons and mini stories with the CoD characters when reader is sick because I’m sick.

The 1-4-1 is out for dinner after a successful mission, and after ordering food everyone realizes that Raccoon isn't really eating- he's been picking at his food for a few minutes.

They realize, maybe 20 minutes of him picking at his food, that he got the wrong order- and he hasn't said anything. At all. Didn't even mention it by a noise. They have to physically rip the words from his mouth to tell the waiter while Raccoon tried telling them it's fine because he didn't wanna inconvenience the waiter (Ghost literally looked at Price and asked "how is he a soldier?").

Raccoon and Gaz bonding over the way they use to kill Sims on the Sims 4. Ghost walking past and overhearing with confusion- not like he doesn't understand (bc Raccoon says "I got rid of the ladder and drowned my Sim."), but just in general.

I am in love with the thought of simon riley being a grumpy snobby nobleman who marries a boorish reckless girl that’s just a ray of sunshine

Simon views marriage as a way to protect his legacy, a way to carry out his high esteem bloodline, he views marriage as a financial decision, after all he’s in his late thirties now and he’s not getting any younger, a few silver strands of hair that decorate his dirty-blonde hair prove that fact

As much as he hates the thought of tolerating a woman who will stick to him for the rest of his life like an unwanted disease, he knows that it’s for the best, he needs heirs to protect his fortune after his death

And so he needs to find a wife as soon as possible, he can not marry a woman from a noble family, from what he has seen so far, noble women are more demanding, they’re constantly in need for attention and because they are used to living lavish lives they tend to be careless with money, he knows that if he marries a noble woman her family would constantly ask to visit her and that means even more unnecessary social events simon must attend, and so he has to search elsewhere for a wife

But he has a plan, instead of going for a woman with high status, he’ll just marry one of the girls that live in the village, and wouldn’t you know it, one of his farmers was more than glad to marry off his daughter to the duke for some quick cash

And a week later, the girl is standing on the porch of his manor holding her suitcase, looking like a lost puppy, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt nervously as she’s waiting for someone to invite her into her new home

Instead of her husband opening the door to her, kissing her cheeks and giving her a warm hug, there’s the mean old lady that does the cooking for the riley manor, standing in front of her in the doorway

And as soon as the poor girl drops off her old ugly suitcase at her bedroom (and simon’s bedroom ofc) she’s running barefoot in the garden to catch a lizard

Now picture this, simon jumps off his stallion in the evening, waiting for his new “wife” to come greet him when he hears screams from the garden, so he runs to the garden to make sure everything is okay, and the scene before him is just unbelievably peculiar:

A young beautiful girl, running around the garden, her underskirt shoved into her belt, her feet covered in mud, and her hair an absolute mess, chasing the old maid with a lizard in her tiny soft hands

And when she runs up to simon, holding up the slimy creature to show it to her new husband, simon is just fucking in love.
