Watching young royals for the first time and I just finished all of s1 and e1 of s2 and this show????? My heart is breaking every 10 minutes, but beyond that, Wille really has no one. They took everyone away from him, there is absolutely no one there for him when he needs them. With everything that has happened to him I am worried - I don’t know how s2 ends, but if something doesn’t get better sooner rather than later, I think we’re looking at a spiral

so my best friend (A) has a other friend (B) and A & B’s families are close family friends. B’s dad is a lowkey (functioning) alcoholic, like to the point where B (age 17) has to go and pick him up regularly bc he’s too drunk to drive.

now, A’s family constantly makes jokes about it (as does B’s dad) and when i expressed concern, a was just like “it’s complicated but not a big deal”. B, however, didn’t seem to find it as funny as everyone else does and it just breaks my heart. whenever someone would joke about him having to take his dad home his face would just fall and my heart would break for him.

A and their family just don’t get it. the sheer volume of jokes and references to it in one single day was insane, so i can’t imagine what B’s daily life is like, especially since no one seems to take it seriously
