Sharper Focus and Clearer Thinking: My Experience with NeuroActiv6
Tumblr media
I Use NeuroActiv6 for a Cognitive Boost
For years, I'd struggled with brain fog and a general lack of focus. Juggling work, family, and personal commitments left me feeling mentally drained, and it impacted my productivity and overall well-being. I tried various strategies to improve my cognitive function, from getting more sleep to implementing focus techniques. While these helped to some extent, I still felt like I was operating at less than my full potential.
Natural Ingredients Backed by Science
That's when I came across NeuroActiv6. What initially drew me to this supplement was its focus on natural ingredients, all supported by scientific research. I'm wary of synthetic solutions, and NeuroActiv6 boasts a blend of vitamins, superfoods, and nootropics – all designed to support cognitive function. Some of the key ingredients include Ashwagandha, known for its adaptogenic properties, Citicoline, which plays a role in brain cell health, and Lion's Mane mushroom, which has been linked to improved memory and focus. The fact that NeuroActiv6 is FDA-approved further instilled confidence in its safety and efficacy.
Enhanced Focus and Improved Memory
Since incorporating NeuroActiv6 into my daily routine, I've noticed a significant improvement in my cognitive function. My focus has become noticeably sharper. I'm able to concentrate on tasks for longer periods without getting easily distracted. This has been a game-changer, especially when it comes to tackling complex projects at work. Additionally, I've experienced a positive impact on my memory. Recalling information feels easier, and I'm less prone to forgetting important details.
Reduced Brain Fog and Increased Mental Clarity
One of the most welcome changes I've experienced is a reduction in brain fog. That sluggish, foggy feeling that used to cloud my thinking is mostly gone. In its place, there's a newfound sense of mental clarity. I feel more alert and engaged throughout the day, which has improved my overall mood and energy levels.
Finding the Right Supplement for You
It's important to note that everyone's experience with supplements is different. What works for me may not necessarily have the same effect on you. However, if you're looking for a natural way to support your cognitive function, I highly recommend giving NeuroActiv6 a try. Just remember to consult with your doctor before starting any new supplement, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions.

It's so funny that Palpatine is also a skilled lightsaber duelist and fighter, enough to take on 4 Jedi masters / war veterans at once and easily kill 3 of them (everyone except Mace Windu almost immediately gets wasted), and then to go on to beat Yoda too later. Like, it's funny to think about the logistics of it all. Who exactly has Palpatine been practicing with here? How often has he been hitting the gym in the past 15 or so years?
Up until that point in "Revenge of the Sith", it looks like Palpatine's main skill is manipulation. He doesn't really look like he's sunk a lot of points into melee combat. Supposedly, he trained Darth Maul, but Maul got wrecked by Obi-Wan Kenobi as a padawan and has been "dead" for over a decade by the time Palpatine is confronted by the Jedi and suddenly opens a can of whoop ass. Dooku is a skilled duelist, sure, but Dooku has been running the other side of the war, so he's not sneaking into Coruscant on a regular basis to be Palpatine's evil gym buddy.
Also, when is Palpatine finding the TIME to train that fiercely? He has a desk job! He has TWO desk jobs! He's the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic and also secretly running both sides of the war, all to slowly build up his Galactic Empire. His schedule must be packed. His time management skills are the real legendary dark powers here. He has to regularly be going straight from meetings with Republic Senators and the Jedi Council into video calls with General Grievous and the Trade Federation. Where on his calendar is this man putting his evil workouts where he waves around a red lightsaber?
I really don't like the idea that Palpatine is just so formidable in the Force that he doesn't ever have to worry about spaceships falling from orbit or keeping in shape. He's definitely not a normal guy, but he is also just a guy, given that Darth Vader eventually throws him off a Death Star bridge to kill him (temporarily, if we're going by the sequel trilogy, which I... don't). I understand that at this point in time, Palpatine is possibly super-boosted by the Dark Side thanks to the sheer weight of misery he's inflicted on the galaxy thanks to the war, so he's feeling GREAT, strong and fast and ready to rumble, but I don't think pure power in the Force alone should necessarily translate to staying flexible despite your desk job and having refined sword skills?
So, I guess I have to assume that Palpatine has a collection of personal dueling droids somewhere that regularly get wrecked by a lightsaber or something? Is there a gym maintenance droid somewhere rebuilding these other droids and chugging happily along learning every week (it gets its memory wiped on a daily basis) that the Supreme Chancellor secretly likes to play with lightsabers like a Jedi LARPer? Not an uncommon hobby! There are fan conventions for that!

Cycle Syncing 101: How to Stop Fighting Your Body and Start Flowing (🌚) With It
alright girls, gather ‘round. this is the full post i promised - the one about periods, moods, energy, and how to actually live in sync with your cycle instead of feeling like a chaotic mess every month. because once i started tracking and understanding my cycle… it changed everything. for real. my workouts, my eating, my planning, my self-talk all became softer, smarter, more strategic. so let's break it down.
your menstrual cycle has 4 main phases, and each one brings its own vibe, mood, superpowers, and kryptonite. when you know which phase you’re in, you stop blaming yourself and start working with your body, not against it. ready?
1. Menstrual Phase (Bleeding / Days 1–5ish)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vibe: hibernation queen. inward. reflective.
Body: hormones (estrogen + progesterone) are at their lowest = low energy, fatigue, cramps, sensitivities.
Mind: introspective, quiet, intuitive. this is your “truth-telling” time.
What to do:
Exercise: restorative yoga, stretching, slow walks. if you need to skip your workout? skip it. your body is doing enough.
Food: iron-rich foods (spinach, lentils, beef, dark chocolate), warm meals like soups and stews. magnesium-rich snacks can help with cramps.
Routines: go slow. journal. say no to extra plans. light candles. wear comfy clothes. treat yourself like you're sacred.
Study/work: focus on review, reflecting on past tasks, journaling ideas. let your brain rest a bit—don’t force deep concentration.
Self-care: warm baths, heat pads, soft music, no loud people.
Mental tip: you’re bleeding out the past month. literally. let go of what didn’t serve you. Zdont feel guilty.
2. Follicular Phase (Post-period / Days 6–13ish)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vibe: fresh start. springtime energy. main character in a coming-of-age film.
Body: estrogen rises. energy builds. skin glows. you feel light, optimistic, social.
Mind: creative, motivated, open to new ideas.
What to do:
Exercise: try something new—dance, pilates, running, gym sessions. you’ll feel strong and energetic.
Food: fresh and light—greens, fermented foods, seeds, citrus. boost that metabolism.
Routines: this is your reset phase. declutter. plan your week/month. start new habits. your brain wants structure right now.
Study/work: brainstorm, start new projects, prep for heavy tasks ahead. your memory and focus are sharper.
Self-care: vision boards, hair masks, cute outfits. say yes to life.
Mental tip: this is your most productive phase. take advantage but don’t overbook. pace yourself.
3. Ovulation Phase (Middle of Cycle / Days 14–16ish)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vibe: glowing goddess. seductive. unstoppable.
Body: estrogen peaks, testosterone joins the party. libido spikes. you’re magnetic and bold.
Mind: communicative, charming, high-confidence. great time to network or confront someone (with love, of course).
What to do:
Exercise: go hard—HIIT, lifting, cardio, group workouts. you’ve got power and endurance.
Food: fiber-rich foods (quinoa, carrots, berries) and antioxidants. hydrate well.
Routines: do your “hard” things here—presentations, big meetings, social stuff, shooting your shot.
Study/work: speak, pitch, debate. you’ve got clarity + persuasion.
Self-care: romanticize yourself. take hot pics, go out, flirt with life.
Mental tip: your confidence is real. don’t downplay it. enjoy this phase but stay grounded.
4. Luteal Phase (Pre-period / Days 17–28ish)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vibe: cozy but moody. nesting energy.
Body: progesterone rises after ovulation. if no pregnancy happens, hormones start to drop = PMS hits.
Mind: detail-focused, critical, sensitive. easily overstimulated.
What to do:
Exercise: lower the intensity. pilates, strength training, long walks. listen to your body.
Food: complex carbs (sweet potatoes, oats), calming teas, B6-rich foods (bananas, salmon). eat more often to manage cravings + blood sugar dips.
Routines: finish tasks. organize. clean your space. prep for your period like you’d prep for a storm—lovingly.
Study/work: editing, detail work, wrapping up loose ends. less is more.
Self-care: limit caffeine, go offline if needed, soothe your senses.
Mental tip: don’t trust every thought. the inner critic is loud but not always right. softness wins here.
General Tips:
Track your cycle: use apps like Clue, Flo, or just a paper calendar. know when each phase starts so you can plan smarter.
Plan around your phases: big goals in follicular/ovulation, rest + review in menstrual/luteal.
Cycle syncing ≠ perfection: life doesn’t always let you live like a hormone princess. do what you can. forgive what you can't.
Be kind to yourself: if your body is low-energy, that’s not laziness—it’s biology. honor it.
Final Thoughts:
nobody told us this. nobody said “hey, your whole system is a monthly pattern—learn the rhythm and life gets easier.” instead, we got shame, pain, and whispers. but no more. now we know better. and syncing your life to your cycle is not about being soft—it’s about being smart. strategic. in tune.
girlhood isn’t chaos, insanity—it’s coded. and when you read the code, you stop feeling like a mess and start feeling like magic.
if you made it this far, you’re already syncing, baby.
go be soft when you need, strong when it calls, and sacred always💕

What’s Wrong with Trey?
Tumblr media
Trey had always been a star. A record-setting sprinter with dreams of Olympic gold, his relentless drive and focus made him a leader both on and off the track. But over the past week, something had changed.
It started innocuously enough. Trey received a package from "009," a cutting-edge sportswear company known for its experimental technology. The first few outfits were nothing short of miraculous. They improved his agility, boosted his endurance, and even seemed to quicken his recovery time. Trey’s performance skyrocketed, and he began to feel unstoppable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The final item in the package, however, was different. A sleek black Fred Perry rubber polo shirt. Its material glistened in the light, and Trey hesitated before putting it on. But the promise of unparalleled performance pushed his doubts aside. The moment he pulled it over his head, he felt a surge of power, as though every muscle in his body was primed for greatness.
Tumblr media
Trey became obsessed with the shirt. He wore it everywhere, not just to workouts but to meetings, social gatherings, and even to sleep. He was convinced that the shirt was the key to his newfound success, and he wanted everyone to experience the same benefits. He began to preach about the virtues of wearing rubber for all activities, especially the black "Fred Perry" shirt.
“You don’t understand,” he’d tell his friends, his voice oddly distant. “This shirt… it’s transformative. You should all try it. Imagine the unity we’d achieve if everyone embraced it.”
Trey began skipping practice, missing workouts, and obsessing over the shirt. His usual vibrant personality became subdued, his conversations revolving solely around the virtues of rubber clothing, particularly the black Fred Perry polo.
His teammates, Sam and Jordan, grew increasingly concerned and decided to intervene. They headed to his apartment after a missed practice, hoping to get through to him. Trey’s apartment was filled with rubber garments, all of them untouched. It was clear: the black polo had a hold on him that no other item did.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Trey, we're worried about you," said his best friend, Sam. "You've been acting differently ever since you started wearing that shirt. We miss the old you."
Tumblr media
Trey's eyes lit up with a zeal that made his friends uneasy. "You don't understand," he insisted. "This shirt is amazing. It’s like it has a power of its own. You should all try it!" Sam and Jordan started bringing up memories from Trey's past, reminding him of all the milestones he had achieved without the rubber shirt. "Remember when you broke the school record for the 400 meters? Or that time you led the team to victory at the state championships?"
Tumblr media
Jordan showed him pictures from those glorious moments, each one a testament to his dedication and hard work.
Sam chimed in, "You didn't need any special gear back then. It was all you—your talent, your effort. Don't let this shirt define you or make you lose sight of your dreams."
They questioned him about his ambitions, gently reminding him of his goals and aspirations. "Trey, you used to talk about winning gold, about going to the Olympics. Don't give up on those dreams," Sam urged. “You just won this trophy which qualifies you for the Olympic trials in a few months.”
Tumblr media
For a moment, Trey’s eyes softened. He reached for the trophy, his hand trembling. A flicker of the old him seemed to emerge as he touched the trophy. “I… I remember that,” he murmured, his voice unsteady. “But it feels so distant now.” But then his expression hardened, and he pulled back, the black rubber catching the faint light as if to remind them of its presence.
“I haven’t abandoned anything,” Trey said, his voice eerily calm. “This shirt is my path now. You’ll see. You’ll all see.”
Tumblr media
Sam and Jordan, saw the momentary struggle etched across his face. Determined not to lose him, they decided to take matters into their own hands. They each took hold of the rubber shirt, pulling with all their might.
What followed was a frantic, desperate battle. Trey fought them with a strength neither of them had ever seen before. It was as though the shirt amplified his power, giving him near-superhuman endurance. Sam and Jordan wrestled with him, trying to get a grip on the slick, rubbery material, but it clung to Trey’s body as if it were alive.
“Hold him still!” Jordan shouted, grabbing at the collar of the polo.
“I’m trying!” Sam grunted, locking Trey in a bear hug.
"Come on, Trey! Remember who you are!" Sam shouted, his voice breaking through the fog.
"You've achieved so much without this shirt," Jordan added.
Trey’s resistance was feral, his movements almost inhuman.
Sweat dripped from their foreheads as they pulled and tugged, their determination unwavering. The shirt seemed to resist with an almost sentient force, but their combined effort began to make a difference. Little by little, the rubber gave way, inching off Trey's body.
Trey let out a guttural scream, his eyes wild with fear and rage.
With a final, collective effort, the shirt tore away, falling to the ground. Trey gasped, feeling a rush of relief and freedom wash over him.
As Trey’s breathing slowed, his friends knelt beside him. “Trey? Are you okay?” Sam asked. He nodded weakly, tears streaming down his face. “I’m… I’m free. Thank you.”
Tumblr media
“Here put this shirt and jacket on to stay warm” Jordan insists.
The friends helped Trey put on a shirt and his gold jacket for warmth
“What was that thing?” Jordan asked, glancing nervously at the shirt laying nearby on the floor.
Trey sat up, his expression haunted. “It wasn’t the shirt. There was… more. Every night, I was compelled to wear a gas mask that came with it. The fumes—it was like they rewired my brain.
The black rubber polo empowered me, gave me focus, intensity, synchronization and clarity to help the team to win, but the gas… it truly corrupted me. It made me a part of something bigger, something I couldn’t resist.
Tumblr media
"Every night, I was instructed to wear the gas mask. The gas treatments were intoxicating, making it harder and harder to act normal. I was told to spread the love of rubber and polo while appearing to remain my old self, to bring others into the fold. But each day, I could feel myself slipping further away from who I was. The team became irrelevant. I could no longer pretend. Being one with the collective and increasing its numbers consumed me.
Sam shuddered. “Why didn’t you tell us?”
“I couldn’t. It wasn’t just physical—it was psychological. Every time I tried to reach out, the collective’s influence would pull me back. I wasn’t myself anymore.”
Tumblr media
The next morning, Trey returned to practice, though the road ahead wouldn’t be easy. The memories of his time under the polo’s influence haunted him, but his friends reminded him of his strength and his dreams. Slowly, he began to rebuild, focusing on the passion that had always driven him.

Girl, fix your health.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Things you should be doing to live well.
If you struggle a lot with your health or generally aren't feeling well, I'm very sorry, and I hope I can help a little bit. This post is for everyone, even those who are just fine but looking to keep it that way.
Check-ups
Even if it's just once every 2 years, you've got to go give the healthcare system some money and check in with your doctor. This is especially true if you have (Or had) chronic health issues in the past.
Ask for:
Blood pressure (You can get this free at most pharmacies as well)
(You might think 'No, I never eat fast food, and eat mostly plants / am vegan' especially then!! Low blood pressure can cause fatigue, fainting, and a generally bad mood.)
Blood sugar levels
B12, Iron (Aren't usually tested at checkups, but I would recommend if you have deficiency symptoms or problems with undereating)
Calcium and vitamin D
Cholesterol levels (Assess risk of heart disease)
Complete blood count: checks for infections, anaemia or blood disorders
Thyroid, liver and kidney function test
Skin check (This applies to every skin colour. Skin cancers aren't exclusive to white people.)
(AFAB) Breast exam
(AFAB) Hormone panel
By the way, I'm also not a doctor. My highest medical qualification is 10th Grade biology. Please, discuss with your doctor what tests would be necessary for you.
Cardiovascular training
I hate cardio so much. Or, I used to, before I found a sport I enjoy that involves a lot of it but is still fun. If you like running, good on you! If you're like me, and need a lot of motivation and encouragement to get on a treadmill, here are some reasons why you should:
Heart health: you might think, 'This isn't a good enough reason. I am young, thin and never had to worry about fat in my coronary arteries.' So, how long do you want to live? Until 40? 50? Cardiovascular diseases are the number 1 cause of death on the entire planet.
Weight loss / management: cardio doesn't just burn calories, but also boosts your metabolism. If you're not into weight loss, remember boosted metabolism -> more energy.
Mood improvement: endorphins, baby. Cardio relieves stress, anxiety and depression, and we could all do with that.
Better sleep: fall asleep faster, wake up early and feeling refreshed.
Cognitive enhancement: exercise aids memory, focus, and creativity.
And here are some ideas how you can do it:
'Running sports': soccer, hockey, rugby, netball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, squash. Give humans a ball and a stick, and they're entertained for centuries.
Jumping rope: easy, convenient and heavy dose of cardio.
Swimming, running, cycling, or all three in quick succession
Hiking: adds a dose of nature
Dancing: I LOVE those K-pop dance workouts on youtube. 10/10 (If I'm alone in my room and nobody can see me)
15 minutes of sunlight
If you're like me and downright scared of UV rays, you need this. Why?
Vitamin D: A vitamin only absorbed by sunlight, which absorbs calcium and strengthens bones and the immune system. You're more likely to get a deficiency if you use sunscreen properly, and I think this applies to my audience (Love you guys)
If you're deficient in vitamin D, you might feel very fatigued and have muscle and/or bone pain.
Adjusts your circadian rhythm: This might not apply to those who get up very early, but sunlight directly after waking up is probably the best thing to do if you want to feel refreshed in the morning and sleepy at the appropriate time in the evening.
Supports metabolism: Natural sunlight aside, it's even debated among nutritionists whether vitamin D suppresses appetite and aids weight loss.
Healthy drink swaps
Food swaps are cool. What's even cooler is not just paying attention to what you eat, but what you drink as well.
Coffee for the caffeine → green or black tea There are so many forms of these teas. Matcha, herbal green tea, Ceylon... They are so loved because they give you that caffeine fix while being hydrating and not disturbing sleep or having a 'Crash'.
Coffee for the warmth and creaminess -> Rooibos or Earl Grey (Milk teas) with honey
Store-bought fruit juice -> Homemade green juices or orange juice If you have a juicer, don't sleep on it. Store-bought juice often contains sugar, which surprised me so much? They are also many times reconstituted concentrates, which just means they have been boiled at high heat to remove the water, then re-diluted with less water elsewhere. This has the side effect of killing (Denaturing) enzymes in the juice, and vitamins are just enzymes. If you don't have a juicer, use a blender and strain.
Soft drinks -> hibiscus, rose hip, grapefruit etc. iced tea Be sure to make it yourself, or purchase from a brand you trust not to add sugar or preservatives. I cannot stress enough how important it is to say no to these drinks.
Sports drinks -> infused water Try lemon, strawberries, mint, cucumber (My favourite) or blueberries.
Hot chocolate -> Matcha latte Here's another tip: if you want to treat yourself to a nice drink but don't want to have stomach problems or break out afterwards, try buying expensive mineral water. This may sound stupid, but trying out different bottled water and judging them like a fine wine is great fun to me.
Prioritising sleep
Here are some tips to fall asleep faster at night:
Don't consume any media (Read, watch movies/shows/Youtube) for a short time before going to bed: this helps my brain to 'Quieten down' a little bit. It happens in much the same way your brain feels like noodle soup after binge-watching youtube shorts for four hours while depressed, just on a smaller scale. If you stuff yourself with content before sleeping, you won't be able to let go as easy.
Have low light levels around you throughout the evening: circadian rhythm again. If you need to be on a device, turn the brightness way down and put on a blue light filter.
Comfort: Lavender essential oil, soft animals and candlelight are some of the things that could help you wind down in the evening.
Light stretches: especially if you've done exercise the day before. Focus on your shoulders and back, legs and neck, as these are the most commonly stressed muscles in everyday life. This *really* helps.
Brown noise / White noise / Theta waves: If you have not tried putting on non-melodic binaural beats or static while sleeping or meditating, you are missing out big-time. No scientific evidence this time, just take my word and go listen to pure theta waves.
Proper hygiene (TW: talk of germs)
We all shower, put on antiperspirant and brush our teeth (I hope). But these things might be equally important and not talked about enough.
Disinfect devices: use a lens cleaning wipe to clean screens and keyboards. Especially if you touch your face often. When you transfer germs from phones or laptops to your face or food, you are essentially giving them a free ride to your body.
The same counts for door handles, faucets and toilet handles. Use an antibacterial disinfectant to kill those germs.
Changing your pillowcase every two days: this is more an acne thing than a protect-your-immune-system thing, but even then, using the same pillowcase you smear residual skincare, makeup, drool and tears on every night is nasty.
Washing your hands before eating, cooking, after using the bathroom and after coming home from a public area
Getting a new toothbrush every month, and washing it after every use with hot water
Vacuum-cleaning the walls: Y'all. There's dust on your walls. Go wipe your finger on it, test the hypothesis. You do not want to breathe that in every day.
That's all from me for today.

exercise in your routine
incorporating physical activity into your study routine can significantly enhance your cognitive function and overall productivity.
Tumblr media
the cognitive benefits of exercise
enhanced memory -> regular physical activity promotes the growth of new brain cells and improves memory retention, helping you recall information more effectively.
increased focus -> exercise boosts blood flow to the brain, which can enhance concentration and attention span.
reduced stress -> physical activity releases endorphins, the body's natural stress relievers, which can help reduce anxiety and improve your mood.
better sleep -> incorporating exercise into your routine can improve sleep quality, allowing you to be more alert and focused.
how to incorporate exercise into your study routine
mini workouts -> try quick, bodyweight exercises like push-ups or squats to get your blood flowing during study breaks.
if i study for 2+ hours, i'll try to cram a one hour workout in sessions and take a shower afterwards
standing desk -> consider using a standing desk that allows you to alternate between sitting and standing while studying.
study walking -> if possible, take your study materials outdoors and walk while reviewing notes or listening to lectures.
find an activity you enjoy -> choose exercises that you find fun to make it easier to stick to a routine. even walking can be active.
post-study workout -> promise yourself a workout or a fun physical activity after finishing a challenging study session.
keep this in mind: don't exercise too late into the day otherwise you'll mess up your circadian rhythm, making it harder to sleep

You'll Have to Go Through Me Pt 6
Part 6 of You'll Have to Go Through Me, the next arc of Doc's Misadventures! If you're new, start at the beginning with Touch Starved!
So... just a heads up: this is actually the end of this arc. Aaaand I intend to spend the next week or so working through a couple Asks. Sorry it took so long to get out - feel like I kinda struggled a bit with it, but I do be having some interesting thoughts (courtesy of a collab braining session with my hubby) for what happens next (because I clearly don't have enough upcoming Doc stories lol)
Warnings: Mild PTSF, guilt, reference to torture/gore, profanity, heated kissing
WC: 4,340
Tumblr media
The sound of those crashing waves again lulled me into a false sense of nearness as I followed the well-trod path toward the beach, endlessly believing I’d finally glimpse a stunning expanse of oceans upon cresting the next ridge only to find another dune stretching out before me. The Marauder was empty when Crosshair and I had reached it, but he’d urged me to continue alone as he ducked inside with a parting “Try not to start another fight until I get there.”
Alone, there was no blessed freedom from my thoughts, nothing to distract myself from the ache each step sent shooting through my hip nor the way my hand throbbed, and I quickly found my strides quickening if only to escape that haunted isolation. Acknowledging that I’d had no real choice in what I’d done offered little reprieve from the nauseating guilt brought on by the memories, and I quickly found myself so lost in those thoughts that I might have run mindlessly into Hunter before noticing him had he not reached out to grab my arms first, wide eyes studying me expectantly as I turned up to him with a quiet gasp.
“I was just coming to find you.” He said after a moment’s hesitation, words drawn out with an unspoken question. He glanced briefly past me before those worried eyes turned back to mine.
“He’s at the ship.” I answered, straining to force my breathing to slow. I knew it was pointless, that he could hear the rapid thudding of my heart and quickly tried to change the subject. “Couldn’t have landed closer to shore?” Hunter barely acknowledged the feigned annoyance in my words. “Usually, people go to the beach to relax, not for a workout.” He was still for just a moment longer before yielding beneath my silent plea with a gentle smirk.
“And here I thought you were tougher than the other nat-borns.” He teased, and relief fluttered through my chest. “Need me to carry you, princess?” I scoffed and tread purposefully around him.
“Don’t tempt me, Mr Big, Scary Clone Commando.”
“‘Scary’?” He sounded far too pleased with himself as he fell in step beside me, shoulder bumping lightly against mine. “I can think of a couple better ways to describe myself.” There was nothing forced in the chuckle that escaped me as I looked up at him.
“Yeah? What? Like cocky? Vain? Over-a-” The word cut off with a squeal of laughter as he threw me over his shoulder.
“Sorry, what was that?” He hummed fingers intentionally toying with the oversensitive skin at my sides any time I tried to speak. “Can’t quite hear you over all that giggling.”
“Hunter!” I shouted, eagerly ignoring the flash of pain as my hands latched onto the thick muscle atop his shoulder blades to steady myself. “Put me down!”
“And risk wearing out our precious med’ika? Boost would never forgive me.” My cheeks flared red.
“Hunter!” I shrieked again, but he merely shook with his own laughter as he continued along the trail a few more strides before finally setting me down, haughty grin toying with his lips as his touch lingered on my arms to steady me. I tried to glare at him but couldn’t restrain my mirth for even a fleeting moment as I tried not to think on the ease with which his powerful frame carried me.
“What’s with the… Doc!” The concern in Wrecker’s voice instantly shifted to excitement as he looked down at us from atop the dune, and I sent him a warm smile that quickly broke into laughter once more as he skidded down the hill, plowing into me with a breathtaking hug that forced out a quiet “oof” as he lifted me off my feet.
“Yuh had me so worried!” He said, and I could hear Hunter’s quiet chuckle beside us. “An’ then you were gone when I woke up, and I thought-” He suddenly stopped and carefully put me back down, blush flaring up his neck. “You, uh… sorry if I… made yuh uncomfortable…” His loud voice faded into an almost embarrassed murmur. “Didn’t really seem like yuh wanted me to let yuh go, so I just…” He lets his words fade with a shrug.
“Wrecker,” I called softly, heart jumping when he hesitantly met my gaze. “Thank you for helping me last night... I think I really needed it.” His blush deepened, but his lips pulled into a shy grin.
“Jus’ glad it helped.” He replied softly, and he paused for just a moment, watching me with that knowing softness that spoke volumes of the darkness he knew lingered just beneath my smile, but he allowed me to hide from it in the warmth of his presence. “Now, come on! If yuh thought the last fish we roasted was big, wait ‘til yuh see this one!” My brow hitched in interest as he turned and guided me over that final dune, arm draped casually around my shoulders.
I’d never seen water so clear. Even from afar, bursts of color shown through that crystalline blue from endless stretches of elaborate coral reefs through which I could just make out blurred streaks darting in and out of sight as countless fish thrived in the immaculate landscape hidden beneath the gentle waves. A comforting wind toyed with my hair, carrying the scent of sun-warmed sands garnished with a salty tang that was somehow far more subtle than I’d anticipated. The nearly white beach stretched out in a graceful curve to my right before vanishing beyond the tree line, while ivory cliffs blocked passage to my left, great boulders from which protruded elegantly from the water where the current crashed against them in great flurries of sparkling droplets.
“Worth the hike?” Hunter goaded with that haughty smirk.
“Depends. Am I going to get eaten the second I dip my toes in?” I asked, shooting a sideways glance at him.
“Probably not.” The utter ease with which his smokey voice murmured those words drew a huffed scoff from me, eyes rolling slightly.
“Nothin’ out there we can’t deal with, at least!” Wrecker chimed, pulling me forward once more.
Nestled just within the shadow of palms near the base of the cliff, they’d dug a pit into the sand from which I could just glimpse the glow of coals beneath a familiar metal grate, and I didn’t doubt Wrecker had hauled it from the Marauder the instant one of his brothers suggested they prepare a meal. He was right. Only half of the massive fish they’d somehow caught fit atop the grill, the remaining half hung from a nearby tree, flesh protected beneath a layer of broad leaves, and it was easily twice as large as the one we’d cooked on Devaron.
“No swimming… Got it…” I muttered, noting the row of sharp teeth nearly the length of my hand, and Wrecker let out a warm chuckle.
“Predators such as this tend to prefer feeding at dawn or dusk, making it highly unlikely one would attempt to target you in the next several hours.” I turned to find Tech reclined against the trunk of one of the swaying trees. A pile of tool and parts lay at his side, gaze turned toward his datapad though it didn’t appear as though he was truly looking at it so much as looking away from me, and that realization made my heart drop.
“So, you’re saying there’s only a small chance I’ll lose a limb.” I replied, gentle smile warming my voice in a silent plea, and that smile grew when his eyes flicked briefly to mine, lips just twitching in a grin of his own.
“It’s unlikely, but, yes, there’s a non-zero probability.” He yielded reluctantly.
“I’ll go with yuh!” Wrecker offered.
“Maybe after breakfast.” His eyes lit up at my response.
“A’right! I’ve been dyin’ to try this thing!” With that, he released me to trot toward the freshly cooked meal with Hunter following shortly behind.
“How are you feeling?” I asked quietly, moving to sit down a few feet away from the Tech.
“I do not believe I’ve suffered any long-term effects from the electrocution.” He answered, gaze again shifting toward me for a fleeting, almost shy glance that piqued my curiosity.
“Given that ‘short-term’ technically includes anything up to a month, would you care to elaborate?” I drawled, turning knowing eyes toward him, and I couldn’t help but warm at the way his lips bunched up.
“There’s some lingering fatigue and occasional muscle weakness, but it is minor enough that I anticipate it to resolve without the need for intervention.” His fingers tapped against the screen, but his attention remained somewhere just beyond whatever data lay within the illuminated surface.
“I’m glad.” I sighed in relief. His jaw twitched, but he seemed to think better of what he’d nearly said and quickly silenced himself. I ducked my head pointedly toward him, waiting, and I watched his fingers fidget anxiously with the seem of his gloves.
“Hunter… told me that you… well, that you carried me… again…” I almost couldn’t believe the sight of red creeping up his neck. “I apologize if it’s been burdensome.” Beneath a guilt that made my heart twist, there was a note of… something in his voice… excitement maybe? I found myself eager to lean into that underlying emotion rather than let him drown in a guilt that had no place between us.
“Stand up.” I instructed suddenly, already pushing myself to my feet as well, hands absently swiping at the sand clinging to my legs.
“Excuse me?” That confusion broke whatever aversion had kept him from meeting my eyes, and I had to bite back the relief upon finally seeing that brilliant burnt honey looking back at me.
“Stand up.” I said again, hand flaring out for emphasize. He stammered a moment longer, mind racing to understand my motivation before hesitantly moving to obey me. Without giving him time to object, I tread across the single step between us, crouching down to hoist him over my shoulder in a single, smooth motion. His datapad fell half-buried in the sand as his hands darted out to my back, a sharp gasp catching in his throat, and Wrecker’s laugh boomed across the dozen yards separating us from the grill.
“See?” I called, voice free of strain despite the way my hip balked from the effort. “This is what I do, Tech. It’s not a burden – you’re not a burden.” I bounced gently on the balls of my feet for emphasize and couldn’t help but grin at the way his breath caught in his throat.
“Y-yes; quite; you… you can put me down now.” He stammered, long legs stretching for the ground.
“Nah. I think he likes it up there.” Hunter teased as he approached us, thoughtlessly cleaning his knife of fish residue. Though I couldn’t see the expression on his face, I felt Tech turn sharply toward his brother and didn’t doubt the rage surely burning through his eyes.
“I told yuh she’s stronger than she looks!” Wrecker boasted. He was carrying a massive chunk of flaky meat atop one of the tree fronds, but his attention rested solely on us, pride shining in his eyes that drew a huff of laughter from me. I knew the pilot could have easily forced himself free, that he only refrained out of either respect or a reluctance to risk hurting me in the process. Regardless, my intent was merely to prove a point so, rather than dragging it out, I carefully lowered him back down.
Face a vibrant red, he quickly straightened his blacks indignantly. With a gentle smile, I retrieved his datapad and held it out for him. His blush only deepened in that brief moment of glancing toward me before accepting it, but he let out a short breath and nodded, jaw taut against what looked like the threat of his own smile, and I couldn’t help but wonder if Hunter was right…
Before my thoughts could wander over that possibility, the Sergeant’s expression suddenly dropped into an unimpressed stare, attention locked onto something just passed my shoulder.
“Ah.” Tech’s brief murmur held the same dismissive resignation as I followed their gazes and had to bite back the grin that tried to pull at my lips. Crosshair had finally caught up with us, armor apparently left behind on the Marauder along with his shirt. There wasn’t an ounce of shame in his eyes as he looked at each of his brothers in turn before letting his gaze rest on me, and I couldn’t begin to feign indifference.
There was something feline in the way his body moved, the tantalizing interplay of immaculately sculpted muscles emphasizing his every stride, and I couldn’t help but remember how perfect they felt beneath my hands as he towered over me in those moonlit woods, the strength of them as his weight pressed me into that scratchy blanket. He was paler than most clones, but the soft caramel of his skin held a warmth that still left me craving its touch, its scent, his taste.
Swallowing back the flare of want, I finally yielded, looking at him with the hunger he’d so effortlessly sent burning through me, and the smirk that instantly lit his face robbed me of any doubt that he’d known exactly what he was doing when he left the ship like that.
“Hope you put on some sunblock.” Hunter called, voice almost bored, but the taunt did nothing to deter the sniper’s pride. Crosshair’s lips pulled into a sneer, but before he could offer a retort, Wrecker interrupted them.
“Ah, you guys can bully each other later. Let’s eat!” I let out a quiet chuckle before pausing, glancing first toward the beach and then into the trees.
“Wait… Where’s Echo?” I asked, and the simple confusion in my voice twisted into a haunting dread at the way Hunter’s jaw tensed.
“He’s at the ship.” Crosshair answered, and I just caught the hard glare he shot his brother before schooling his face back into a nearly impassive disinterest. “Didn’t want to deal with the sand.” I could have pressed. I could have demanded they tell me the truth, admit that he was avoiding me rather than play into the lie, but I knew nothing would come of it. He didn’t want to see me. Nothing I said would change that simple hurt.
“Guess someone’ll just have to bring him some fish later.” My vain attempt at nonchalance fell painfully short, prompting a heaviness to the air around us that made my skin crawl. Drawing a quick breath, I turned my attention to the pile of meat Wrecker had carried from the fire. “Let’s not let it get cold.”
“What are you working on?” Short conversation had murmured between the brothers as we ate regarding empty speculations on where we might be sent next, if we’d be granted time to rest before the next mission, muttered complaints about how long it had been seen we’d found ourselves in an actual city, but as the meal ended, a less oppressive quiet settled between us.
Wrecker, stomach full and body warmed beneath the brilliant sun, lay dozing nearby while Hunter was busying himself with climbing the nearby cliff for a better view of the island. Crosshair had seated himself just near enough to me for his knee to occasionally brush mine, though he offered no reaction to those hidden touches as though they’d occurred by mere chance, so I pointedly turned my attention to the now nearly completed device in Tech’s hands. His eyes darted toward me for just a moment upon hearing my question before returning to his work.
“A tester scomp of sorts.” He stated absently, attention focused on piecing the remaining sheath atop the intricate series of wires. “This should grant us some warning against another malicious failsafe such as what we encountered at the outpost.” My interest instantly piqued, relief pouring through me for a worry I hadn’t realized I’d had. There was a time I would have been shocked that he’d been able to create something out of whatever lay about the Marauder, but I’d long since learned not to think such limitation to be a hindrance to the man before me.
“You think it’ll be able to trigger whatever trap that was?” I asked, voice hushed beneath a desperate hope.
“I’ll need to test it first… but, yes. While I doubt they’d attempt the same strategy twice, I believe caution is the appropriate tactic going forward.” Some of his words were drawn out, as though he’d nearly forgotten he was speaking as he finished attaching the final piece. Before I could reply, he pushed himself to his feet. “Excuse me – I’ll need to use the Marauder to verify it’s efficiency.”
With that, he quickly disappeared among the trees. With Hunter mere feet from the distant lip of shockingly pale stone and Wrecker making barely a sound as he slept, my mind revolted against the silence. It was too easy to fall back into the memory of those screams, to hear the crunch of bone in the sound of waves crashing against sand. As though I could feel him studying me, I glanced over to find Crosshair’s eyes trained on mine, and I briefly feared he could hear the way my heart raced.
Dismissing that worry, I hid my panic beneath a tiny smirk and let my gaze flick pointedly into the rich rainforests blanketing the island before looking back toward him, intent clear in my gaze. His brow twitched ever so slightly, jaw tensing beneath a want I was too eager to lose myself in. Without a word, I silently pushed myself to my feet, relieved to hear him following in my wake.
Barely a half dozen yards separated us from the tree line before his arm wrapped around my chest, and I couldn’t hold back the thrilled gasp as he pulled me flush to him, hunger instantly bursting through me at the heat of his powerful form. My hands automatically darted up to clasp his forearm, head tilting back to rest atop his shoulder as my lips readily pulled into a wide grin. I expected him to kiss me, felt myself shifting eagerly in anticipation, but he merely held me like that, watching me with a quiet that I couldn’t help but still beneath. His free hand slowly reached for me, fingers trailing lightly along my jaw.
Only after my body relaxed into him, intoxicated by the gentleness of his touch, did he kiss me, and I instantly found myself relishing in how quickly the world around us faded. It was effortless; forgetting the very existence of reality beyond that moment as I hid in the euphoria of his taste. Seeing him from afar, watching the sharpness of his glare, how readily that impatient scowl stole over his unapologetic face, assumptions of rough hands and sloppy lips were easy to imagine, but Maker, nothing was further from the truth.
Even now, despite my clear willingness for him, his every move held a reverence, as though convinced each second was its own revelation of some treasured secret revealed only through soft touches and the subtle dance of his kiss, and how could I not lose myself in him when he held me like that? The conviction of his worship forbade even a whisper of self-doubt. I felt cherished in a way I’d never before known, and it left be breathless, floating weightless in his embrace.
When he pulled back, haunted eyes searching mine for something I couldn’t begin to understand, I found myself torn, desperate for more of him while grasping for some means of ridding those amber eyes of whatever worries drew that subtle crease between his brows.
“You going to tell me what happened on the beach?” It wasn’t quite a whisper, but there was a softness to his raspy voice that would never cease to send that burst of heat through my chest. Still, I couldn’t begin to reach for an answer, mind still lost in the rush of his kiss. “You looked like you were about to start pacing.” He pressed, and I would have turned from him if I could remember how to feel shame over the want burning through me.
“It was too quiet.” I murmured, and from the way his gaze darkened, I didn’t doubt how thoroughly he understood.
“Not sure how I feel about you only coming me to when you have something you need to forget.” The regret that coiled in my stomach nearly ruined me, instantly sobering me of that thoughtless need as I withered beneath the threat of hurt in his voice.
“Cross…” His name fluttered from my lips absent any hope of finding some means of quieting his heartbreaking betrayal as I turned to face him, hands reaching up to whisper against his jaw, but I couldn’t deny what he’d said, and he knew it. I wanted to sob at the hesitation vainly hidden beneath a growing annoyance.
“Wait…” I barely breathed the hushed murmur before forcing some memory of strength back into my voice as his eyes turned pointedly away from me. “I… You’re right.” I loathed the way those words clawed up my throat. “I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to belittle this… us…” The fleeting urge to remind him that he’d offer me exactly that: a distraction, sat atop my tongue, rancid and bitter as I ached beneath the guilt of allowing him to feel like this when he’d so effortlessly filled me with that perfect bliss.
“I did look to you as a way to get away from…” Unwilling to force the nightmares into words, I motioned vaguely toward my head before returning my hand to his cheek. “But I swear, Cross… I don’t just want you for that… I want you.” My fingers shifted carefully against the rough stumble, subtly willing him closer to me. “I want you.” I whispered those tiny words with the full breadth of love that danced beneath my skin from his every touch, with the wonder and glee that burst through my chest at even a brief glimpse of his smile.
He didn’t fight me as I gently pulled him down to let my forehead rest against his, and I savored the intimacy of that closeness, thumbs gently sweeping across the ridge of his cheekbones. I didn’t try to claim his lips again, nor did I move to covet the tantalization display of his toned physique laid bare before me. In that moment, I needed nothing more than for him to believe me, that whatever relief his body might grant mine in a fit of passion paled beneath this; the simple act of holding him, of yielding beneath my want for his nearness and knowing he gleaned the same comfort in holding me, and when his arms slowly wrapped around my waist, I couldn’t suppress the shuddered breath that tumbled past my lips, my own arms instantly reaching out to lock around his broad shoulders.
“Do you want to go back to the beach?” I didn’t pull away as I let the words flutter through his hair after granting us a long while to merely bask in each other’s embrace. Without a word, he shook his head, and then his mouth was on mine. A tiny gasp caught in my throat as the sudden touch but found myself desperate for it, breath faltering in a whimper as his earlier tenderness quickly ceded beneath that hunger I’d so wanted to succumb to just moments prior.
He pressed harder into me, crowding me until I had to lean back, frightfully dependent on his touch to keep from falling, and I didn’t try to quiet the moan at that first caress of his tongue. His hand dropped down my waist to slide around my thigh, tugging the limb up to wrap around him, and I could feel the way he smirked at how easily he had me clinging to him.
“Say it again.” It was meant to be an order, but I could hear the need in it, and I offered no hesitation.
“I want you, Cross.” Murmuring the words against his lips, my fingers tangled into his hair, grip tightening just enough to emphasize my desire. Arm tightening around me, he stood up, hauling me effortlessly from the ground. Ignoring the ache of those barely sealed wounds, my other leg jerked up to lock around him as well, barely noticing the deceptively rough bark of a palm tree pressing against my back as my core burned from the heat radiating off him. Just as his hand began creeping beneath the hem of my shirt, a voice called out from the beach, rudely sending reality crashing back around us.
“Keep your clothes on.” Lips twisting into that familiar snarl, Crosshair let out a nearly growled breath, obstinately refusing to set me down.
“The kriff do you want, Hunter?” He shouted, refusing to so much as glance in the direction of his brother.
“We have to head out – wheels up in ten.” Disappointment replaced whatever embarrassment had begun darkening my cheeks, teeth catching about my lip as my body sank beneath a heavy sigh.
“What?! Why?!” He demanded, finally twisting his head back to stare at the foliage still protecting us from view. I tried to free my legs, but his grip only tightened, so I merely waited for his denial to cave.
“Orders came in.”
“We aren’t back from our last orders.” It was a useless objection, and he knew it, but his frustration forbid him from yielding so easily.
“Yeah… these aren’t for us.” Something about the reluctance in Hunter’s voice sent a chill down my spine, and I could feel Crosshair tense with that same apprehension. “They’re for her.” His annoyance instantly vanished, gaze darting to me with a confused dread that I couldn’t help but mirror.

Health and Fitness: Tips and Benefits
Health and fitness are two interrelated concepts that affect our well-being and quality of life. Being healthy means having a good physical and mental condition, free from diseases and disorders. Being fit means having the ability to perform physical activities with ease, strength, and endurance. Both health and fitness can be improved by following some simple tips and enjoying some benefits.
Tips for Health and Fitness
One of the most important tips for health and fitness is to exercise daily for at least an hour. Exercise can help you burn calories, strengthen your muscles, improve your cardiovascular system, and boost your mood. You can choose any type of exercise that suits your preferences and goals, such as walking, running, cycling, swimming, dancing, or lifting weights. The key is to be consistent and challenge yourself gradually.
Another tip for health and fitness is to eat the right foods and portion each meal. Eating a balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, healthy fats, and water can provide you with the nutrients you need to function properly and prevent diseases. You should also avoid or limit foods that are high in sugar, salt, saturated fat, and processed ingredients. Additionally, you should control your portion sizes and avoid overeating or skipping meals.
A third tip for health and fitness is to keep track of calories and food intake per day. Knowing how many calories you consume, and burn can help you balance your energy intake and expenditure. This can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight if needed. You can use a food diary, an app, or a website to record what you eat and drink every day. You can also use a calorie calculator to estimate how many calories you need based on your age, gender, height, weight, and activity level.
A fourth tip for health and fitness is to be sure to get enough sleep. Sleep is essential for your body and mind to recover from the day’s activities and prepare for the next one. Sleep can also affect your appetite, metabolism, immune system, mood, memory, and concentration. You should aim to get at least seven to nine hours of quality sleep every night. To improve your sleep hygiene, you should follow a regular sleep schedule, avoid caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, and screens before bed, create a comfortable and dark sleeping environment, and relax before sleeping.
A fifth tip for health and fitness is to stay motivated. Motivation is the driving force that keeps you going despite the challenges and obstacles you may face. To stay motivated, you should set realistic and specific goals, track your progress, celebrate your achievements, reward yourself, seek support from others, join a group or a class, find a workout buddy, or hire a personal trainer. You should also remind yourself of the reasons why you want to be healthy and fit.
Benefits of Health and Fitness
Health and fitness have many benefits for your physical and mental well-being. Some of the benefits are:
Reduced risk of chronic diseases: Being healthy and fit can lower your chances of developing conditions such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, arthritis, and obesity.
Improved balance and coordination: Being fit can enhance your ability to maintain your posture, move gracefully, avoid falls and injuries.
Increased energy levels: Being healthy can boost your metabolism and provide you with more fuel to perform your daily tasks.
Enhanced mood: Being fit can release endorphins in your brain that make you feel happy. Being healthy can also reduce stress hormones that cause anxiety.
Better self-esteem: Being healthy and fit can improve your appearance, confidence, and self-respect.
Conclusion
Health and fitness are important aspects of our lives that we should not neglect. By following some simple tips such as exercising daily, eating right, tracking calories, getting enough sleep, and staying motivated, we can improve our health and fitness levels. By doing so, we can enjoy many benefits such as reduced risk of chronic diseases, improved balance and coordination, increased energy levels, enhanced mood, and better self-esteem. Health and fitness are not only good for us but also for those around us who care about us. So, let’s start today!

Did an update design for Tiara B. She's definitely a sporty & adventurous character but I wanted to avoid workout clothes like Tangle's, I so I went for a jumper and did a scrunchie instead of a bow since I think Fiona pretty much owns big yellow bows imo. I also kept the wand because I like it, and decided to make more of a backstory for the giant rock on it & give it a name and explain I guess what she would be doing.
I broke it down into 3 parts & put it under a cut
1 - Harmony Diamond- Treasure of the Boobowski royal family. Only the royal family are able to wield it and the power level varies depending on it’s users state of mind (ie - if depressed or low on energy it’s not as powerful as when they’re determined & confident) It’s main ability is it’s able to heal or restore what’s broken. Including healing the sick. In combat it can absorb & nullify attacks, basically it becomes an OP shield. It’s encased in a scepter that can also be used as a blunt weapon. (I also kind of want it to look like a gymnastics ribbon while in motion. Like a beam of light that whips around whenever the wand moves) Tiara, as the last remaining member of the Boobowski family, is the only one left to wield it.
As a child her father told her to keep its power a secret because he didn’t want others coming for her, despite her protests that it could really help people in need. Gazebo starts to consider finding a way to duplicate the diamond. The real one to keep and the duplicate to try and use more publicly & possibly distribute throughout the world if duplication is successful. In his experiments of trying to convert a chaos emerald into another harmony diamond, this causes an unforeseen reaction and Gazebo suddenly vanishes without any remains. The diamond and emerald are repelled to the opposite sides of the room. Tiara witnesses the incident in horror. She disposes of the emerald and starts carrying the Harmony Diamond and Gazebo’s notes with her at all times in her quest to find him and answers on what exactly happened.
Notes: -Based on the “rings of order” concept from Sonic Xtreme of being opposites of the chaos emeralds. Shiny rocks are just more interesting than rings.
also inspired by the Silver Crystal from Sailor Moon (which culturally are the opposite of Dragon Balls, the inspiration for Chaos Emeralds)
also also tying in some of the original game drafts where Gazebo was trying to make a cure for a disease that Sonic had to transport(?)
2- The Boobowski Royal family & the Castle of Light - located in a northern region (in between Holoska & Spagonia) the Boobowski family had been its ruler for centuries, but in recent history the kingdom’s population & general well being declined. The King at the time had been more frugal with the Diamond’s use and kept its powers secret, when the people revolted to form a democracy, the royal family was cast out and lived among its citizens. The castle became public property as well but it suffered heavy damage from the revolt.
Gazebo is from the 3rd generation after the revolt. Even with the political change the population still dwindled, almost as if it was cursed. The royal family’s history remained a faint memory, and he & Tiara lived in the mountains (like the Mobian Alps) mostly staying outside of the world of politics, Gazebo as a local doctor. Tiara is a “princess” in family heritage only. Gazebo sometimes wonders what it would be like to restore the Castle of Light to its former glory. This is also what motivates him to duplicate the Harmony Diamond, so that he can get a boost of power to heal the castle & the surrounding area. Tiara has no interest in politics or being a pampered princess, but she did enjoy working alongside her father with patients and helping people.
Notes: -Castle of Light has been documented as Sonic Extreme’s hubworld & where Tiara was from so I wanted to utilize it.
Wanted to make the history distinct enough from Satam’s Acorn Kingdom (since Tiara looking for her father is already pretty similar to Sally’s story) and have its conflicts come from internal struggles vs. outside forces like Eggman attacks or whatever the heck was happening in Soleanna.
3 - Tiara’s character- Since Gazebo’s disappearance Tiara has been traveling alone. In her home village she was always wandering off on her own so she’s used to being independent. She puts on a determined face & positive attitude through this whole ordeal but doesn’t let anyone get too close & won't ever admit to anyone that she’s felt lonely & scared. She’s pretty confident in her physical abilities so sometimes she can seem hot-headed, impatient or even arrogant on a bad day. She has short patience for people picking fights in particular (so like, Rough & Tumble she would absolutely yell at & fight them without hesitation)
At the end of the day she won't give up until she finds an answer as to what happened & where her dad went. She doesn’t mind if she has to sacrifice personal relationships for herself to get there. She’s put out missing persons reports in every town she’s visited. She usually stays in town for a week to a month, working odd jobs or helping citizens from badniks. She goes to the gym a lot (into gymnastics, aerobics, rock climbing) and likes following the local sports scene. Big jock energy.

Tips for better concentration and focus
Disclaimer: all the tips in this post are taken from articles I found on the internet from two sources that i will link back to at the end
Also I'll separate the stuff I copy from my own thoughts Abt them using these ---------------------- in case you wanted to avoide my thoughts Abt the copied stuff
I'm not sure what order would be best but first of all I think I will begin with this exercise that I found pretty fun to try out actually
------------------------------------------------------------------
Tip 1- Want a way to boost your attention and focus? Neuropsychologist Kim Willment of Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's Hospital suggests a single-task exercise like reading. "Read something for 30 minutes, setting a timer to go off every five minutes. When it goes off, ask yourself if your mind has wandered. If so, just refocus on what you're reading," she says. "By training your brain to monitor if your mind is wandering, you strengthen the monitoring process and the ability to maintain focus on a single task."
------------------------------------------------------------------
I never thought about doing something like that until I read the above passage yk, it was very challenging maybe that's why I found it a little fun to try.
All the articles I read had some common points that when I thought about it felt rather obvious but we'll...I'm very guilty of ignoring them sometimes ;< hence why I'll put em here :D
First of all and second on this list for some reason is the better sleep point according to this excerpt: Sleep deprivation can easily disrupt concentration, not to mention other cognitive functions, such as memory and attention.
There was more but I'm copying just enough to not lose my motivation while writing this 😅
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tip 2- improved sleep
Some tips for improving your quality of sleep include:
-Turn off the TV and put away screens an hour before bed.
-Keep your room at a comfortable but cool temperature.
-Wind down before bed with soft music, a warm bath, or a book.
-Go to bed and get up around the same time each day, even on weekends.
-Exercise regularly, but try to avoid a heavy workout just before bed.
------------------------------------------------------------------
By the way there was a point that I actually liked but didn't include in this post that I think can replace the exercise regularly point in tip number 2 cuz it's practically the same thing....okay that's my cue to include it isn't it
------------------------------------------------------------------
Tip 3- Spend time in nature
If you want to boost your concentration naturally, try to get outside every day, even for a short while. You might take a short walk through a park. Sitting in your garden or backyard can also help. Any natural environment has benefits.
Try adding a plant or two to your workspace or home for a range of positive benefits. Succulents make great choices for low-maintenance plants if you don’t have a green thumb.
------------------------------------------------------------------
I highlighted the walk par cuz that's what can replace the exercise regularly part...Maybe it's not for everyone thu I'm not sure
------------------------------------------------------------------
Tip 4-Vary your diet
The foods you eat can affect cognitive functions like concentration and memory. To improve concentration, avoid processed foods, too much sugar, and very greasy or fatty foods.
Instead, try eating more of the following:
fatty fish (think salmon and trout)
eggs (white and yolk both)
berries
spinach
------------------------------------------------------------------
I remember knowing about the fish point before maybe spinach too but the latter was mostly from watching that old sailor cartoon when I was a kid Popeye I think?
------------------------------------------------------------------
Tip 5- Train your brain
Brain training games can also help develop working and short-term memory, processing, and problem-solving skills.
Playing certain types of games can help you get better at concentrating. Try:
sudoku
crossword puzzles
chess
jigsaw puzzles
word searches or scrambles
memory games
------------------------------------------------------------------
I knew this one too I like jigsaw puzzles as long as they're digital cuz I'll definitely lose the parts somehow and that'd suck
I think find the difference games could also be considered among them cuz I remember reading about their benefits long before and it included how good it was for concentration and stuff
------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I hope this list wasn't that bad to read I tried my best to not make it a mess to read I hope it worked somehow
Also if anyone read this to the end I really recommend reading from these two links: article no 1. Article no 2 if you're up for it cuz it includes much more stuff that I sadly don't have enough time to copy and paste here
I think I wrote this list for myself more than for others but I hope it will be of help to others someday

By StudyFinds
The cure for Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia may not be in a pill bottle — it may be a gym membership! A new study reveals that workouts don’t just make your body stronger, they keep your brain firing on all cylinders for a full 24 hours.
Researchers from University College London suggest that daily moderate exercise offers new hope for anyone looking to keep their mental edge well into old age. Specifically, participants between 50 and 83 years-old who did more physical activity than usual showed improved memory the very next day. This isn’t just a fleeting post-workout buzz — it’s a sustained cognitive boost that could have significant implications for brain health.
“Our findings suggest that the short-term memory benefits of physical activity may last longer than previously thought, possibly to the next day instead of just the few hours after exercise,” says lead researcher Dr. Mikaela Bloomberg in a media release.
Importantly, you don’t need to be a fitness fanatic to reap the benefits. Researchers say that something as simple as a brisk walk in a park can help.
“Moderate or vigorous activity means anything that gets your heart rate up – this could be brisk walking, dancing or walking up a few flights of stairs. It doesn’t have to be structured exercise.”
The study tracked 76 men and women over eight days, using wrist-worn activity trackers to monitor their physical activity and sleep patterns. Participants took daily cognitive tests, allowing researchers to map out exactly how movement and rest impact brain function.

Just musing here, carry on scrolling. All good vibes to you 🙏
I feel like my happiest time was college, where I was definitely stressed but also hopeful, with my friends every day, had workout buddies, and vacations where I was working but could also rest. Now as an adult 5 years out from that, like I don’t have that stress but I also don’t have that drive or that motivation from being with my friends all the time. It’s like blah? Plus some real life stuff but everyone has real life stuff.
So I guess what I’m thinking is I’m ready to recreate that time but as version 2.0. Like, I’m already good at making time to see my friends, but I have to have a few more things planned. I’m not gonna have a workout buddy, but if I always have my next race picked out then I’ll have one for that, and that can be enough. Ya know? I’m already reading more fun books, thank goodness. It took some practice and I’m still repairing my attention span but like
I think ultimately I’d like to recreate the feeling of 2016.
Part of that is losing the trauma weight I’ve put on, cause I physically felt really good between 140 and 145 and this whole 165 thing I’ve got going currently just feels heavy and sluggish and fatigue. So part of that feeling good will be really taking hold of this summer and making sure every weekend is fun and beachy and full of good memories.
So yeah whatever, that’s my real motivation. I wanna feel good again. This blog is only one aspect of that.
But training for the half marathon is good cause others have joined me, and doing step challenges with coworkers, and limiting drinking is unfortunately helpful.
So anyways yeah blah whatever, that’s my day 4 musings. I’m doing this little 100 day challenge with myself to kinda reset and regroup before the summer. Kinda like 75 hard except actually 100 soft and healing but with some good workouts tossed in to flush out my braincells and lots of veg to clean out my blood toxins. Maybe I’ll get some crystals and do some meditation too, who knows.
(Also professionally, I gotta feel better when I’m at work and this will give me a little confidence boost, if I feel good outside of work that’ll carry over. same with dating.)
And I know I’ve said I’m ready before but I never was really and I never will be. But I hit my breaking point when I lost my cat and immediately gained 5lbs when I’m already on the edge of my work clothes. I can’t keep using my personal tragedies as excuses. They suck, they very very very much suck and it’s okay if I gotta cry and sob and carry on, but I also can’t end up being 500lbs over it. I can’t add that body trauma on top of other shitty stuff and I can’t let shitty stuff rule my life, ya know?
Ugh that’s a whole essay and this is only for for me so I do hope none of my lovely followers have read this far, but dammit I deserve to feel comfortable in my body even when the outside world is being mean. And it’s gonna get meaner, I just have to decide how I shape my inside world. It isn’t just losing weight, actually, my weight is a symptom of how I feel inside.
So if I straighten myself out inside, that part will just handle itself, ya know?
So that’s that, and it’s really not the worst. Everyone’s been having a bad time since 2019/2020. But I’m gonna choose to live in delulu land and pretend it’s the 2010s again, because if I’m on this roller coaster too I wanna at least like my bod when I see swim suit pics this summer and I wanna feel excellent when I’m crossing the finish line of my half marathon.
And that’s it on the rambling, I’m going to sleep. My motivation is going to some fancy places with friends this weekend, but I’ll have to drive after so there won’t be temptation to binge drink.
So yea that’s it, fun little therapy sesh to keep myself and my motivations on track.
