HEADS UP: This lot is Pack Heavy!
"Downtown Copperdale" - 20 x 15 Lot, Thrift Tea & Bubble Store (Multi-Functional Community Lot)
This is a multi-functional community lot built for the thrift store lot in Copperdale. This downtown area features a mini bar, a bubble tea shop, a thrift store, a "smoke" shop, a mini yoga studio, and a self-serve pizza buffet.
I'm working on a personal save file and really liked how this one turned out, so I thought I'd share it! This one is pack heavy but I think a lot of it is little decor objects from furnishing the shops, so if you're missing a few packs, this one will probably still work.

(Vent ish post, it’s just me complaining but also laughing about having an undiagnosed chronic illness)
So right now it’s suspected that I have fnd (functional neurological disorder), and one of my symptoms is weakness, which happens at random moments.
I was making a video showing a training session with my service dog, but when I got up my leg was too weak to support me and I fell.
It’s kinda funny to look at.
Anyway really hoping my doctor is going to refer me to a neurologist :3

rainy mornings with husband!bakugou
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bakugou didn’t like the rain. That was a fact.
But the thing about rain is that it’s inevitable, something that only nature has control over (and additionally the particular people who have rain-based Quirks).
The rain was steady, soft against the windows like a lullaby. It wasn’t a storm, he notes, just a lazy morning drizzle that blurred the glass and painted the world in cool grays and muted greens.
He stood at the stove, barefoot, wearing loose black sweats and one of your hoodies—oversized on you but fitting snug on him (he remembered the sheer happiness you had when he told you your parcel finally arrived). The sleeves were a little too short, exposing his forearms as he stirred a pan of scrambled eggs with slow, unhurried movements.
He wasn’t in a rush, and for once, there wasn’t any tension in his shoulders. Thank god his schedule was getting lighter these days, especially as Japan is now entering a much colder rainy season this year.
Behind him, you were curled up on the couch, legs tucked under you, a throw blanket tossed lazily over your lap. You hadn’t bothered changing out of your pajama shirt yet—one of his old Dynamight shirts (which he was sure was sold at a golden price nowadays since it was one of the first ones released), faded from too many washes. You had your tablet propped on your knee, aimlessly scrolling through something, one hand cradling a mug of still-steaming tea.
He glanced over his shoulder, watching your thumb flick across the screen, your brows furrowed just the tiniest bit in that way that always made him want to kiss it away.
Damn marriage making him soft.
Having him thinking of kissing your worries away and whatnot.
“You ready to eat?” His voice was low, rough with sleep still lingering around the edges, though he’d been up for a bit now. It was the kind of morning that made him feel stress-free again—quiet, warm, you.
You didn’t even look up. “Mm… not yet. Gimme ten more minutes.”
Bakugou snorted, scooping the eggs onto a plate with a quiet clink of the spatula. “You said that ten minutes ago.”
“I did not,” you murmured, still distracted. “I said that fifteen minutes ago.”
“You callin’ me a liar?”
“...Nossir.” No, Sir.
“Uh huh.”
He turned off the burner and walked over to you, crossing the room with his usual quiet authority. You didn’t flinch when he sat down next to you and didn’t look up as he leaned in to press his lips to your temple. You just shifted slightly, making room for him as if it were the most natural thing in the world—which, honestly, it was.
Because if you hadn’t seen all of him by now—
Ahem, then casual intimacy would be a bit awkward when you’re 4 years into your marriage.
“You’re not even really lookin’ at anything,” he muttered, resting his chin on your shoulder.
“I’m looking at furniture,” you replied, lifting the tablet slightly for him to see. “For the entryway. I found this bench with drawers under it. It’s soo cute.”
He peered at it, expression blank. “It’s a bench.”
You gave a dramatic sigh. Here we go.
“It’s a functional bench. With storage. It’s called multi-purpose, Katsuki.”
“Yeah? Looks like a trip hazard to me,” he said, lips twitching at the corners.
You gave him a lazy elbow in the side, just enough pressure to make him grunt but not enough to move him. “You’d survive.”
“Wouldn’t be the first time I busted my ass ‘cause of somethin’ you brought into the house,” he said, smirking now, eyes flicking down to the tiny mountain of throw pillows on the floor that had been there since you reorganized the couch again last week. “You and your ‘aesthetic.’”
You finally looked away from your screen, giving him an unimpressed look. That expression—one he knew all too well—is so fucking cute it makes his chest hurt.
“You like the aesthetic when it’s candles and not vanilla-scented ones and have things that are either black or white instead of having color. What’re we trying to have here? A monochrome house?”
“Didn’t say I didn’t like it,” he said, and kissed your cheek again, slower this time. “Just sayin’… you got a way of makin’ this place feel lived in. That’s all.”
That made you pause. You turned your head just slightly, enough to meet his eyes, your features softened, and your smile became a little cheeky. “That’s sweet of you. I knew I had that effect on you.”
He shrugged, embarrassed now, and tried to cover it up by reaching for your tea. “This still warm?”
“Get your own,” you said without bite, holding it out of reach.
He let out a soft huff and leaned into your space more, nose brushing against your jaw. Because if anything, the husband version of Bakugou Katsuki—your husband Bakugou Katsuki—doesn’t have a concept of personal space during mornings.
“You really gonna deny your husband a sip? Really? When I prepared this for you?”
“You’re gonna drink half of it.”
“I will if you keep holdin’ it hostage,” he threatened, and you laughed—an actual, sleepy laugh—and finally let him take the mug. He took a sip, then handed it back with a little grunt of satisfaction. “Uh huh. Made it right today.”
“I make it better.”
“You put too much honey in it sometimes.”
“I like it sweet.”
“I like you sweet,” he said under his breath, then added, “Not your damn tea. That’s a health hazard at some point, dummy.”
You rolled your eyes but leaned over and bumped your forehead against his. He stayed there for a beat, closing his eyes as he let the closeness sink in. Outside, the rain kept falling, and the whole apartment smelled like eggs, toast, and the faint vanilla candle you lit sometime before he got out of bed.
“You gonna eat with me or what?” he murmured against your skin.
“In a bit,” you said again. “You’re warm. And it’s raining. I don’t wanna move yet.”
He made a low sound in his throat, something between a hum and a sigh, and settled in beside you, one arm looping behind your shoulders, the other resting on the blanket over your legs.
“This your excuse to make me feed you like last time?”
You smiled, sleep still tugging at the corners of your lips. “Maybe. That’s what husbands are for, right? Serving their spouses?”
“You’re a pain.”
“And you love me—unless you don’t. Then I’ll have you know I will be taking the washing machine with me; that one’s the most expensive piece of furniture we have.”
Bakugou snorted. “Really?” he says. “But fuckin’ right I do,” he added, voice low and reverent now. “I love you ‘til the sun fucking explodes, and even after.”
...
“That was poetic, hun. You should’ve written that for our vows.”
“... I’m regrettin’ that I forgot.”
You sat in silence for a while; the only sounds were the rain, the occasional tap of your fingernail on the screen, and the soft buzz of the world going on without them. Bakugou didn’t mind the quiet—not with you, at least.
You made it feel full instead of awkward.
Safe.
Eventually, you sighed and leaned into his side, closing the tablet and letting it slip onto the couch cushion beside you. “Okay,” you murmured. “Maybe I’m ready now. Because I don’t like cold eggs.”
He kissed the top of your head. “Yeah?”
You nodded, eyes half-closed. “But only if you bring it over here. Then we could continue watching that romance drama we forgot to finish because you went to Spain.”
Bakugou huffed, standing up with a stretch. “You’re spoiled.”
“You spoil me.”
He glanced at you over his shoulder as he walked back to the kitchen. “And don’t you forget it.”
He brought over the plates a minute later—eggs, toast, and a little variety of fruits because you liked it when he tried to be ‘balanced.’ He handed you the fork and watched as you thanked him and lazily started to eat, your movements slow, like your brain still hadn’t fully woken up.
He sat back down beside you, one knee brushing against yours under the blanket, and started eating his food, satisfied by the small sounds you made with each bite. It wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t flashy. But it was theirs—yours.
A rainy morning, warm food, the person he loved within arm’s reach—Bakugou couldn’t have asked for anything better.
So yeah, Bakugou might not like the rain, but he likes spending it with you.

Thinking back on Till's POV, the lack of it makes Till's personality difficult to articulate. But I like how multi-faced he is as a character, very flawed, and contradictory... (although endearing), sometimes he confuses me with his constant highs and lows. He's very malleable and sensitive and honestly doesn't try to suppress it. Yet he outwardly hides so much of himself and is majorly avoidant of confronting certain aspects of what he feels and spiraling. Because of all these factors, he's a very emotionally unstable (often escapist), immature character, and following this train of thought as his emotional arc progresses is interesting.
For instance, from the beginning. In his childhood, I always thought Till had a boyish personality, but I constantly think about the way Till goes back and forth between having an unrealistically romantic perspective, or he's a closed-off yet passionate character with a lot underneath
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To acknowledge his flawed traits Till shows himself to be weak-minded, has a child-like arrogance, and short-sighted, and short-tempered (hence why he's prone to fighting with Ivan, a lot, when his buttons are pushed, in part an emotional response to his environment and as a result of Ivan's aggravating behavior) (this isn't to say he's an asshole sometimes on purpose honestly, seeing the way he's just as quick to treat others with kindness and politeness, but those traits are a part of his character...) whilst he is also a timid and kind-hearted and insecure person, even though he has a timidity about him and, as aforementioned, insecurity about his safety and self-assurance because it has otherwise been compromised over and over again by the constant and explicit abuse he suffers, he holds onto to a motivating and empowering factor about his natural talent for music and art- that because he's the best of the best at music among his peers, even if the world destroys him as long as he has music he can do anything and protect himself, and what he cares about, nothing else matters, so he absorbs himself into immersing in his inner world and his art&music. In a way that explains why he acts like a chuunibyou ("HAHA...WEAK PET HUMANS...I'LL BEAT YOU WITH THE BLOOD OF MUSIC RUNNING IN МY ВОDY! HEHE!"), When it comes to his music, he's very certain about his ability because he knows what the aliens think of him and how much they regard him (though that's also not very consistent; his confidence is secretly in the dumps)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TL: @/SegyeinArchive on twit
In his idealization and idealized self, he finds his function. Alongside this, he finds purpose in Mizi, a perfect, inspiring, and dreamy person in Till's perspective, which is why he's so attached to her, if not because of the relief she is to him by simply allowing him to play with her. That is why I describe him as an escapist, too, because that is what he does when the world is too much for him, that is what Mizi is to him in this environment where cruelty is a constant, feeling isolated and living in abuse makes a child seek out a safe and secure connection, and Till clings to that when he meets Mizi and she is often portrayed as Till's muse and his motivation, because of exactly what she means to him as someone he feels deep affection for and wants to protect
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then again, Till is simultaneously careless about his close friendships. He is, unfortunately, absent-minded/awkward, and is only meticulous about his music. Even though he could have a better situation, it's another area of life where he's fumbling. It's shown in how he deals with Ivan. He has a close bond with Ivan and seems to genuinely consider him close (But I already kinda talked about that).
Tumblr media
source
They see each other, but cannot truly see eye to eye because he perceives Ivan as odd, and Ivan irritates him. They didn't know how to help themselves. It's highlighted in their story that they never learned how to approach each other. At that time, Till was completely oblivious to what Ivan truly thought about him, and he didn't need to know, in the case that he was probably actively shrugging it off, too distracted with other things in his life. Ivan wouldn't force him either way.
There is also his dynamic with Mizi, it's conveyed in many ways that he only has an idealized perception of Mizi, that simpler and lovable side. So insecure over the fact that he's not brave enough to confront her and too shy and closed off to make an effort to truly get close to her (so much so that even the ever-trusting and socially oblivious Mizi was thinking that he didn't really like her)
TL: @/SegyeinArchive on twit
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His profile puts it way better: Till has a simple ignorance that is a double-edged sword. He can be content for a while, but under intense pressure, it becomes a weakness
Tumblr media
There is a lot that correlates to why Till has the lowest rating of all characters in terms of emotional strength; he has too many weaknesses, relies too much on his dependency, and is reactive to stimuli and triggers in his environment. Even though Till has a resilient spirit, he can't see himself not leaning on Mizi or living without her. When Ivan dies, he's forced to confront so much of what he hadn't before, and it sends him spiraling while he's already dealing with the loss of Mizi. Even though he is a rebellious character, he lashes out at the aliens on pure instinct, not because he had a methodical form of rebellion in mind. And he gets treated like a rabid animal and beaten down for it. It's bound to get to him when all his defenses are destroyed. And he's unequipped to deal with the emotional turmoil he goes through as the story progresses. That is the arrow that comes back to stab him in the back.
In round 2, his foolishness and lack of tact are re-established. I believe this is the part where you can really describe Till as short-sighted (and impulsive for how quickly he killed his guitar, even if it worked in his favor) because here he passionately expresses his genuine confession of love for Mizi in hopes of at least her acknowledgement in a pretty inappropriate setting (no ill-will there, but definitely odd). In Round 5, a crucial moment for Till's character development is shown. Till's fearful dependence on Mizi's well-being keeps him wanting to stay by her side. But when she's gone, he's lost. The tension that prompts his character development reveals how truly emotionally unstable he was to begin, and in Round 6 and Round 7, it shows the full depth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At this point in his character development, it's hard to grasp him because his volatility is sporadic. His emotions are visibly all over the place, but it makes sense. I believe Vivinos meant to paint the picture of a multi-faced trauma victim with continuous overlapping traumatic experiences, and what they made of him: a biting and cornered animal, truly something broken and grasping at straws, and his misery is raw, and when he circles back to how he was in the very beginning when he sees Mizi after so long without her, hopeless and afraid? Almost everything, including his impulsivity, escapism, and naive ignorance, was re-established. When looking into his character psychologically, he's so fun to research...
PLEASE LET ME HAVE HIS ACTUAL POV I CAN'T DO IT ANYMORE

Master Dialogue Writing Techniques for Engaging Fiction (For Writers)
(Beware, long post!)
As fiction writers, we all know that effective dialogue is essential for bringing our stories and characters to life. After all, the way our protagonists, antagonists, and supporting players speak to one another is one of the primary ways readers get to know them on a deep, intimate level. Dialogue reveals personality, uncovers motivation, and propels the narrative forward in a way that felt narration simply can't match.
But nailing natural, compelling dialogue is easier said than done. It's a craft that takes serious skill to master, requiring writers to have a keen ear for authentic speech patterns, a nimble handle on subtext and implication, and the ability to strike that delicate balance between being true to real-world conversation while also keeping things snappy, dynamic, and laser-focused on the story at hand.
If you're someone who struggles with crafting dialogue that truly sings, never fear. In this in-depth guide, I'm going to dive deep into the techniques and best practices that will help you elevate your dialogue writing to new heights. By the end, you'll have a toolbox full of strategies to ensure that every exchange between your characters is as gripping, revealing, and unforgettable as possible.
The Fundamentals of Effective Dialogue
Before we get into the more advanced nuances of dialogue writing, let's start by covering some of the foundational principles that all great fictional conversations are built upon:
Reveal Character One of the primary functions of dialogue is to give readers a window into who your characters are as people. The way they speak — their word choices, their tone, their body language, their turns of phrase — should provide vivid insight into their personalities, backgrounds, values, quirks, and emotional states.
Think about how much you can glean about someone just from how they communicate in real life. Do they use a lot of slang and shorthand? Are they verbose and flowery with their language? Do they struggle to make eye contact or fail to respond directly to questions? All of these subtle linguistic cues are powerful tools for crafting multi-dimensional characters.
Drive the Plot Forward While revelations about character are crucial, you also want to ensure that your dialogue is constantly pushing the story itself forward. Each exchange should feel purposeful, moving the narrative along by introducing new information, triggering plot points, creating conflict, or prompting characters to make pivotal decisions.
Dialogue that feels aimless or extraneous will ultimately bore readers and detract from the forward momentum of your story. Every line should have a clear intent or function, whether it's uncovering a hidden truth, setting up a future complication, or escalating the tension in a high-stakes moment.
Establish Distinct Voices In a story featuring multiple characters, it's crucial that each person has a clearly defined and differentiated way of speaking. Readers should be able to tell who's talking just from the rhythm, diction, and personality of the dialogue, without any additional context clues.
This doesn't mean every character has to have an over-the-top, hyper-stylized way of communicating. In fact, the most effective character voices often feel grounded and natural. But there should still be distinct markers — whether it's word choice, sentence structure, tone, or speech patterns — that make each person's voice instantly recognizable.
Convey Subtext While the literal words being spoken are important, great dialogue also traffics heavily in subtext — the unspoken emotional undercurrents, power dynamics, and hidden agendas that simmer beneath the surface of a conversation.
The most compelling exchanges happen when characters are communicating on multiple levels simultaneously. Perhaps they're saying one thing out loud while their body language and tone convey a completely different sentiment. Or maybe they're engaged in a subtle war of wits, trading verbal jabs that reveal deeper wells of resentment, attraction, or vulnerability.
Mastering the art of subtext is key to creating dialogue that feels layered, lifelike, and imbued with dramatic tension.
Strategies for Writing Snappy, Realistic Dialogue
Now that we've covered the foundational principles, let's dive into some specific techniques and best practices that will take your dialogue writing to the next level:
Omit Unnecessary Details One of the biggest mistakes many writers make with dialogue is bogging it down with too much extraneous information. In real life, people rarely speak in perfectly composed, grammatically correct full sentences. We stumble over our words, interrupt each other, trail off mid-thought, and pack our speech with filler words like "um," "uh," and "you know."
While you don't want to go overboard with mimicking that messiness, you should aim to strip your dialogue of any overly formal or expository language. Stick to the essentials — the core thoughts, feelings, and information being exchanged — and let the subtext and character voices do the heavy lifting. Your readers will fill in the gaps and appreciate the authenticity.
Master the Art of Subtext As mentioned earlier, crafting dialogue that's rich in subtext is one of the keys to making it feel gripping and lifelike. Think about how much is often left unsaid in real-world conversations, with people dancing around sensitive topics, conveying hidden agendas, or engaging in subtle power struggles.
To layer that sense of unspoken tension into your own dialogue, consider techniques like:
• Having characters contradict themselves or say one thing while their body language says another
• Utilizing loaded pauses, interruptions, and moments of uncomfortable silence
• Injecting subtle sarcasm, skepticism, or implication into a character's word choices
• Allowing characters to talk past each other, missing the unspoken point of what the other person is really saying
The more you can imbue your dialogue with that layered, emotionally-charged subtext, the more it will resonate with readers on a deeper level.
Establish Distinct Voices As mentioned earlier, ensuring that each of your characters has a clearly defined and differentiated speaking voice is crucial for great dialogue. But how exactly do you go about accomplishing that?
One effective strategy is to give each person a unique set of verbal tics, idioms, or speech patterns. Maybe one character is prone to long-winded, flowery metaphors, while another speaks in clipped, efficiency-minded sentences. Perhaps your protagonist has a habit of ending statements with questioning upticks, while the sarcastic best friend always punctuates their barbs with an eye roll.
You can also play with differences in diction, syntax, and even accent/dialect to further distinguish how your characters communicate. The key is to really get to know the unique personality, background, and psychology of each person — then let those elements shine through in how they express themselves.
Lean Into Conflict and Confrontation When it comes to crafting gripping dialogue, conflict is your friend. The most compelling exchanges often arise from characters butting heads, engaging in verbal sparring matches, or working through deep-seated tensions and disagreements.
Conflict allows you to showcase the high stakes, unresolved needs, and deeper emotional currents that are driving your characters. It forces them to make bold choices, reveals aspects of their personalities that might not otherwise surface, and generates the kind of dramatic tension that will really hook your readers.
Of course, you'll want to avoid making every single dialogue scene a full-blown argument. But learning to sprinkle in well-placed moments of friction, confrontation, and clashing agendas is a surefire way to elevate the energy and impact of your character interactions.
Read Your Dialogue Out Loud One of the most valuable tricks for ensuring your dialogue sounds natural and lifelike is to read it aloud as you're writing. Hearing the words out loud will quickly expose any clunky phrasing, overly formal grammar, or inauthentic rhythms that would otherwise go unnoticed on the page.
Pay close attention to how the dialogue rolls off your tongue. Does it have a smooth, conversational flow? Or does it feel stilted and unnatural? Are your characters' unique voices shining through clearly? Are there any spots where the back-and-forth starts to drag or feel repetitive?
Actively listening to your dialogue — and making adjustments based on how it sounds in the real world — is an essential part of the writing process. It's one of the best ways to refine and polish those character interactions until they feel truly alive.
Hopefully, this can help you all!
The key is to always keep your focus on authenticity. Ask yourself: how would real people actually speak?

it's odd to remember (and really conceptualize) that cutter is not the public-facing head of goddard futuristics - presumably, there's some other person out there who is (in)famously, publicly perceived as the multi-billionaire CEO; what is cutter's relationship to that person? - but i think it says something interesting about cutter's understanding of visibility, middle management, and what real power looks like. the two characters who care most about their ranks are kepler and minkowski, and it's obvious cutter thinks they're easily swayed + controlled by this. he gives them both functionally useless pseudo-military promotions to flatter them.
for minkowski, that falls apart because, as much faith as she initially has in the system, she becomes painfully aware that its values are incompatible with everything she actually cares about (though she is notably incensed to learn that hilbert technically outranked her.) for kepler, i think a larger part of it is realizing the system itself is a lie. compare the scene where he pulls rank on hilbert, "look at these insignias on my shoulders. the ones that signify my rank. how high is it?" to when he asks riemann's rank, "i'm no one, colonel. officially, i have no rank, salary, or position in goddard futuristics." rachel even says that riemann is "above all that nonsense." these are the positions cutter gives to the people he actually thinks will make it - the ones with no rank and no fanfare. rachel gets ahead by being, well... to paraphrase cutter, enough like him but different enough to see the thing he'll miss, and it drives kepler crazy, but i think riemann is more of a personal blow because, in many ways, he is kepler.
i've said before that the one and only interesting thing about riemann is that he's "kepler's kepler" - kepler thinks he's just his job, but riemann actually, truly is - and it's an odd situation within a character drama, full of people with such complex inner worlds, to have one character whose narrative role is to be nothing, actually, on purpose. it makes people say things such as, "who?" and "why was he even there?" and those people are correct; he's completely forgettable. but, at the same time, i really do find kepler's late-series actions more believable because riemann is there than i would've if he wasn't. ms young doesn't need to sacrifice anything of herself for goddard; she's already the right person for the job. mr riemann has hollowed himself out so completely and efficiently that we can't even speculate if he was anyone else before. and the artist formerly known as colonel warren kepler, well... as always, he's the three-legged pig.

COD But If They Were Gen Z Brainrot Things
COD but if they're brainrot. (I don't know what possessed me to do this, uni exams are causing me to tweak).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I formally apologise to: Simon "Ghost" Riley, John Price, John "Soap" MacTavish, Kyle "Gaz" Garrick, Gary "Roach" Sanderson, Kate Laswell, Alejandro Vargas, Rodolfo "Rudy" Parra, Nikolai, Phillip Graves, König, Kim "Horangi" Hong-jin, Vladimir Makarov
i did NOT take this seriously 🥴im jit yapping
🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
Ghost - monday left me broken
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Soap's dead, Roach's dead, Mara's dead (in the mobile comics), monday left him broken.
If I were to recount *all* of the shit that he had to go through, I would be here for awhile but I know we know what our Ghost had experienced, he's broken but he's still kicking! Onto Tuesday, Wednesday!
So I think it's a fair assessment for him to be monday left me broken
I also think he listens to the song unironically sometimes
Captain Price - smurf cat
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do I really have to explain this one?
I guess COD nation sees Papa Smurf in him but the thing about smurf cat is that it has a hat, therefore it must be Price
The resemblance is uncanny sometimes (it's just a hat)
i don't have much to say, it's literally just appearance-based for this one
Soap - prime and lunchly
Tumblr media Tumblr media
soap is the type of guy to walk into the recording studio and come out with "from the screen, to the ring, to the pen, to the king, where's my crown? that's my bling, always drama, when i ring. see i believe that if i see it in my heart, smash through the ceiling, 'cause i'm reaching for the stars." look me in my metaphorical eyes and tell me im wrong
he would be guzzling down the cherry freeze after a long hard day of training
he likes his cheese drippy bruh
he kinda looks like haley welch if you squint
Gaz - gaining aura
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I LOVE GAZ RAAAAH
Look at him? He literally can't physically lose aura?
I'm biased towards Gaz
Even breathing can earn this man aura, there is something innately charismatic and charming about Gaz to the point that even if he trips on air or accidentally walks around with an open bag, typically aura-losing activities, he just wouldn't lose any.
Look at him
He is Kyle "Gaz" Garrick.
Roach - cooked
Tumblr media Tumblr media
well, technically, 'cooked' typically indicates that a food item has been processed through fire, at least usually
but i guess this is using the brainrot terminology, still, that changes nothing
cooked in brainrot means to be struggling, done for or that the situation is just bad, the entire brazilian militia being after his ass after he fell from the roof was one of his most iconic moments, he had many cooked moments in the campaign but that one truly defined him, he was, in fact, cooked
literally and figuratively
Laswell - galvanised square steel
Tumblr media Tumblr media
galvanised square steel is an extremely durable material, is able to transform even the smallest 1mx1m square apartment into a fully functional multi-purpose home with the assistance of eco-friendly wood veneers and
as ghost put it, "laswell's still solid as a rock" except, she's as solid as galvanised square steel
she's reliable, resilient and shes like the foundation as the galvanised square steel while 141 is like the eco-friendly wood veneers
Alejandro - oil up
Tumblr media Tumblr media
one could say that all men in cod could represent 'oil up' but i think alejandro embodies the 'oil up' phrase
im actually just straight tweaking when i say this but i think he'd have a similar community to orange peanut's if he ever became an influencer, like different content but his comment section would be filled with 'when are you going to oil up'
i also think he'd be the kind of guy to gladly oil up on request, granted there was an ample amount of oil
Rodolfo - livvy dunne
Tumblr media Tumblr media
rudy doesn't really strike me as a rizzer more like a rizzee (im tweaking so hard right now)
he seems like the type of guy to get rizzed up by baby gronk and then promptly train for his gymnastics or something
there's not much to comment on here, just that he looks like the type of guy to be rizzed
Nikolai - metal pipe sound effect
Tumblr media Tumblr media
nikolai is unique in the sense that i think he encapsulates the metal pipe sound effect rather than a phrase or a brainrot figure
i have a feeling that during violence and timing gaz would agree with me
i have a feeling that the butcher in mw2019 would also agree with me
he's a menace but no brainrot compilation is the same without the metal pipe sound effect so :333
Phillip Graves - only in ohio
Tumblr media Tumblr media
that gif shows up when i search for ohio
i feel like this one is very self-explanatory
in some instances gyatt and ohio can be used interchangeably so i would also consider him having the dual position of embodying gyatt and ohio at the same time, lucky bloke
König - alpha wolf
Tumblr media Tumblr media
furry könig skin
Tumblr media
furry wolf skin, no further commentary needed
Horangi - 99% of gamblers quit before they hit big
Tumblr media Tumblr media
that is just what he did
Makarov - skibidi toilet
Tumblr media Tumblr media
we have all seen the smile skin
skibidi toilet is evil incarnate, poisoning the minds of the children, even in the lore of skibidi toilet it is evil and direct antagonistic villains towards camera head people, sounds just like makarov
the smile skin is like the mould on lunchly cheese, its the outward thing you see but the evil of skibidi toilet like makarovs evil is like the mould spores inside the cheese
🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺
it is now nearly 3am, im so failing my histology class man

Businesses & Hobbies EP
I am happy about the new EP but if you take away the cross pack compatibility, it seems empty. However, I built all of those multi-purpose lots for my San Myshuno and I WILL finally make employees for each area.
San Myshuno Makeover Info (CC)
[NOTE: I do not own the pack yet. Since, they were all done before the EP announcement, none of them are assigned. However, everything should be easy to differentiate and they were all playtested.]
This is all a coincidence that I produced a whole bunch of multi-purpose lots. I do NOT work for EA and never have. Nor do I have ties to anyone to have known this was coming lmao
If you see me enter a giveaway… that's between me and the voices in my head LOL In all seriousness, I'll most likely buy it on sale if I don't win a giveaway. I'm not ashamed to say that I have never purchased Sims 4 DLC full price. I purchase things at the value that I see them being worth, exception being kits for the obvious reason. I only own 6 kits.

Genuine question, why most socialist countries are a one-party state ?
Plenty of socialist countries, even Marxist-Leninist countries, have or had multiple parties in power. East Germany was and China and the DPRK are all multi-party states. Even the ones that don't permit the organization of independent political parties, such as the USSR, Cuba, and Vietnam, all had or have independent political candidates holding office. So "one-party state" has never meant "only one party ever gets to hold office".
Rather, the function of affording specific privilege to the ruling political party, and this function has always been a constitutional privilege democratically decided by the people and not some imposition by the party without consent, has been to safeguard the socialist revolution against counter-revolutionary activity. Lenin's conception of the dictatorship of the proletariat and of the vanguard party, which informed the development of democratic centralism and the one-party socialist state, called for the creation of a political movement led by the most advanced revolutionaries that would guide the construction of a state created and run by the working class as a whole and existing for the purpose of ensuring the wellbeing of the proletariat while suppressing the bourgeoisie.
The question every revolutionary socialist state has been met with from day one has been "how do we ensure that our revolution does not fall victim to sabotage and counter-revolution?" The efforts of the bourgeoisie, both within and without, have always been focused on counter-revolution, and no socialist state has been exempt from these efforts. It is because of this that so many socialist states have chosen to implement democratic centralism and restrict independent political organization. While there exist strong international movements to sabotage socialism, it is not safe for socialists to simply go "we overthrew our domestic bourgeoisie! revolution's over!" The defense of the revolution and its achievements must be prioritized, both through physical defense and through political defense.
The one-party socialist state has never been an obstacle to genuine political debate, and there have always been lively political discussions at every level on every topic of importance to the citizenry. It has only ever been an obstacle to those organizations that exist solely to agitate towards undoing socialism and returning to capitalism. We see in the aftermath of the fall of communism in Eastern Europe how the seemingly "progressive" hopes of the social reformists were dashed once capitalism returned to the region. What has the "freedom" of multi-party bourgeois democracy looked like? Poverty, displacement, and war. The people were dazzled by Western consumer goods while they had their countries stolen out from under them.
As always, I recommend reading Pat Sloan's "Soviet Democracy" and Anna Louise Strong's "In North Korea" for historic first-hand examples of how democratic centralism functions in practice.

Okay, so: I have a theory.
Aaravos doesn't know everything. (That's not the theory.) If he knew in exact detail how everything would play out, that would undermine the story's overall central theme that the world (destiny) can be changed. Most of his actual advantage is millennia of observing mortal behavior—he's very, very good at predicting how elves and humans will react when put in situations. He can also, however, be surprised.
Tumblr media
Now, that isn't to say he doesn't definitely have some degree of cosmic foresight/timeblindness. (That's also not the theory.) However, even the Cosmic Council in its entirety doesn't seem to necessarily see things in detail, since they obviously see "humans gaining primal magic starts the spiral into chaos" but not "because you then execute a child, prompting her father to personally oversee that spiral." So when Aaravos says things like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't think he necessarily knows exactly what role Claudia will play, besides that she is important—even necessary—to his plan. It would be chef's kiss irony if what he's actually seeing is that she will become important to him, personally. (That is also not the theory. I'm getting there.)
Despite his general foresight Aaravos can be surprised, and he's specifically surprised by Rayla making a second attempt at killing Viren despite being disarmed, sacrificing herself to stop him. So: did he know Viren was going to die, just not at that moment? Did he prepare a multi-year Worm Plan specifically to resurrect Viren? Or was there another purpose he had in mind?
This isn't the theory, either, but: I do think the plan from the beginning was for The Worm to, uh... pupate(?) into Sir Sparklepuff, and then to lead Viren (and Claudia) to the other archdragons and the clues to Aaravos's prison (or at least the one clue they actually need). The Worm begins to grow aggressively right as/after Aaravos and Viren corrupt the Sunforge, like it's preparing for an imminent new stage. I suspect that after hatching and once in proximity to the prison, Aaravos had every intent to use Sir Sparklepuff in some way to re-manifest in the world. After all, he's tied by blood to Aaravos just as much as he is to Viren—if he can be used to "restore [Viren's] life and future," there's no reason he can't serve the same purpose for Aaravos.
Of course, that all gets derailed, and instead we wind up where we wind up, which is with Aaravos being surprised:
Tumblr media
He's surprised enough that, if it isn't in itself responsible for his hold on Avizandum weakening enough to be broken, he's at least distracted enough to be ambushed and physically overpowered. Someone has asked the "what's Sir Sparklepuff's unfinished business?" question, but I don't think that's actually what's at play, here.
Because this, finally, is my theory: Aaravos is surprised because this creature, this little homunculus puppet made a living battery, isn't supposed to have a soul.
He shouldn't be there at all—in the In-Between, or anywhere else. The essence put into him when the chrysalis was opened gives him a rudimentary consciousness, but if there was even enough there to persist, it should have been consumed to finalize Viren's resurrection. Aaravos is looking at something that should be impossible, and yet here it is.
Which makes me wonder... I had kind of dismissed the fairly extreme difference between the symbol for infantis sanguine in Aaravos's book and what is shown after the fact:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like, that's a lot to draw in the sand. Maybe what's in the book is actually a more functional diagram or instructions of some kind, and Claudia has drawn the actual functional part?
However, because the rune Claudia has drawn is the same as the one on the cursed coins, I have to question. The assumption, I think, has been that Aaravos instructed Claudia in the infantis sanguine ritual to save Viren. I took that for granted because a) it makes sense, and b) it's funny to imagine Claudia's unhinged little "Blood of Child" giggle in s6e1 as "unfortunately for both of us, I do know you fucked the sparkly elf." However, depending on how quickly Callum and the others depart for Katolis, Aaravos is potentially moving away fairly quickly—maybe not so quickly that he can't contact Claudia and give her the ritual before being cut off, but still.
We also know Claudia knows about the cursed coins, including a good grasp of what they entail:
Tumblr media
It's not clear if she understands it in the way Lujanne explains, with the coins containing only a piece of the soul and the rest being trapped elsewhere, in the In-Between:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aaravos may have given her a different ritual (maybe infantis sanguine itself can only be self-targeted) that works more like that. Maybe, if Sir Sparklepuff had enough of a soul, only part of it was enough to anchor/revitalize Viren (essentially "stored" in him as the coin) and the rest went to languish in the In-Between.
Anyway, if Sir Sparklepuff is not meant to have a soul, but does... that raises some interesting possibilities, both thematically (depersonalization/what is a monster) and narratively. What if Sir Sparklepuff needs his soul completed to pass on, like Rayla's parents? Could he be after a piece of Aaravos's? Or, what if Sir Sparklepuff didn't have enough of a soul, but what he had entered the In-Between rather than being consumed because it was actually a piece of Claudia's that broke off to save Viren?
idek man this is just the shit I think about like constantly

My Plans for Elysian Eclipse 0.5.0
As most of you already know, the next release will be a major update, introducing the foundation of tribal stage. Here's a quick overview of what I want to achieve during the next 2 months.
Building System: Since the hut editor is functional now, the logical next step is allowing you to place those huts in the world. For this the construction menu, used to place nests in aquatic stage, will be further expanded in various ways.
Day / Night Cycle: We already tested a small scale version of the day night cycle in the Blorb Zone. Now it will be fully integrated into creature and tribal stage, including a time and weather display, aswell as cheats to change the current time.
Unit Selection: Instead of being a top-down view like in Spore, you'll still play from the perspective of a creature. You'll be able to freely swap between a few different tribe members. Not only will you be able to control multiple creatures, but also ...other things.
Interaction Menu: The interaction menu will be a multi-purpose system to interact with other creatures or objects. Only the base of this system will be implemented for now, but in the future it will be used for stuff like trading or crafting.

The sword, symbolizing the Swati nakshatra, embodies the dynamic and adaptable qualities associated with its natives. This celestial segment is characterized by its ability to effectively navigate various situations, much like a sword that serves multiple purposes. Swift and lightweight, the sword demonstrates versatility, allowing it to function both offensively and defensively. This dual capability reflects the multifaceted nature of Swati individuals, who often possess the agility to adjust their approach in diverse circumstances.
Swati individuals are known for their resourcefulness and keen ability to balance assertiveness with caution, mirroring the sword's capacity for both attack and protection. Consequently, the sword serves as an apt representation of the key traits of adaptability and multi-dimensionality inherent to the Swati nakshatra, underscoring its significance in the astrological landscape.

CONCAVENATOR CORCOVATUS
Concavenator Corcovatus, translating from the Greek words Conca, aka Cuenca the area it would have inhabited in Spain close to the capital Madrid, venator (-hunter) and Corcovatus (-hunchback) roughly translating into “The hunchback hunter of Cuenca” named and described relatively new in 2010 with a nearly complete fossil from the Las Hoyas fossil site of the La Huérguina Formation.
What made it unique were the unique crest formations on its back. Unlike a Spinosaurus sail (or any other dinosaur with a sail) the vertebrae didn’t gradually ascend and descend and instead were two suddenly crests forming on its back. Possibly for thermo-regulation or a mating display or maybe even fat storage similar to camels, it was probably multi-functional as most of the time when animals have outward structures they serve more than a single purpose. One of my favorite depicted by a Mark Witton paleoart is that the hump structure helped them blend in with their environment or that it could have helped identification between individuals. It’s sort of a mystery, all we know is that it had two very tall vertabrae on its back.
But the crests on its back aren’t the only reason it’s cool (aside from the fact it’s a dinosaur making it automatically cool). On the fossil from 2010 the fore limbs had bumps which were possibly quill knob’s, meaning it possibly had feathers or could have at least been partially covered in feathers.
Scientific Classification//
Domain: Eukaryota
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Chordata
Clade: Dinosauria
Clade: Saurischia
Clade: Theropoda
Clade: Charcharadontosauria
Genus: Concavenator
Species: Concavenator Corcovatus
Anyways it’s my first time writing something like this and definitely my first time sharing it I’m kinda stressed it’s not good enough so TvT. Anyways if anyone wants to correct me or tell me more about the Concavenator please don’t feel free to do so I’d absolutely love to learn more about this incredible dinosaur.
