Hi, I’m Andromeda (she/they). I am returning to Writeblr and decided to start a new blog for my WIPs and writing updates! I want to use this blog to shout out other Writeblrs, make posts about my current WIPs, and experiences in publishing. I mostly write original fiction but write fanfic when the inspiration strikes. The days stretch long with violence and misery, but he finds purpose and friendships in the trenches. 

Then he meets a man, a smuggler providing supplies and information to the Allies. Etienne is so different from the soldiers, bright and charming. They begin a secret romance, disappearing together when they can, and writing letters in between. 

An opportunity comes to meet in Paris, and James is overwhelmed at the opportunity to spend time with Etienne in the City of Love. Free to spend their days together, James quickly discovers just how much Etienne has been hiding from him, and enters a world of magic, beauty, and death.

A/n : omg hi! Yes it’s true I don’t see many windbreaker fanfics or anything here! And sorry it’s so short! I just came back from vacay and I’m taking things slowly 🫂

You and jay met when you were just kids, since you lived in the same neighborhood and you were knew there, Jay always had you chasing him around.

Now him being socially awkward didn’t matter to you, since you found it easy to speak to him

He liked listening to your rambles and stories, and his presence made you feel understood and seen.

Going to the same school as jay , you’d often be marked as siblings because of how close you two were. Never being seen without each other attached at the hip.

Now when jay met Shelly, he immediately introduced you to her, afterwards minu and dom joined. Forming a bigger friend group

Even though jay was surrounded by many people, he’d cling to you and always come to you first

Wether it’s for advice, venting or just to be comforted. He trusted you the most and always will.

Scolding him is your second job besides babysitting jay, he makes dumb decisions despite his “cool, calm collected” appearance.

his mom LOVES you, and that means your like family, even having keys to his house whenever you want.

Wearing his hoodies, borrowing his stuff, sleeping on his bed, Shelly almost thought you two were dating but immediately explained that you two were super close like siblings

Speaking of siblings, jay’s little brother sees you as a family member to, always showing the cat to you. He gets spoiled rotten by you and jay just scolds you both.

Jay is very protective of you, he knows you can handle everything alone but still he wants to feel closer to you and clings whenever any guy/girl approached you like a older brother

“Hey miss Jo, where’s jay?” the door gets slammed open by you immediately walking in after taking off your shoes by the door. Greeting the cat and jay’s brother. Stealing a bite from the food miss Jo was making.

“You know how he is, he’s racing right now. He’ll be home in 5 minutes. Do you mind emptying the washing machine?”

“You got it.” without much saying, you go upstairs to grab the wet clothes hanging them on the clothe hanger outside the balcony. then going to jay’s room. Stealing a sweatshirt and getting dressed into one of his black sweatpants.

You see the picture of his uncle, you missed him as much as jay did. After all he’s the one that introduced you two together. He treated you like his own kids, always teaching you how to ride bikes.

the door gets opened and jay walks in all sweaty and after he noticed you standing there he just sighs.

“Here again? Seriously, we might as well buy you a bed here.”

“Honestly? You should!” flopping on his bed he gave you some candy he held in his hand. Then sitting besides you taking off his clothes getting dressed into sweatpants and sweatshirt as well.

He threw the dirty clothing on your face, groaning taking it off your face the stench makes your face cringe.

“Go shower , you smell bastard.” getting up from the bed he just pushes you playfully into the wall. running to the shower before you can hit him back. rolling your eyes, going downstairs after miss Jo yelled out that it’s time for dinner.

It truly felt like you were part of the family, Smiling while strutting down the stairs.

Befriending this blondie was one of the best choices you ever made, his vibe and presence alone makes you happy

You met him once at school, crowded by girls and helping him escape them he gratefully gave you a thank you gift ( something way to expensive)

Afterwards he’d just stick to you like a lost puppy, making sure the girls cry and get jealous

Always crying about Shelly to you, weeping into your sweatshirts making wet spots appear and wailing like a baby. Patting his back he continues crying.

whenever you two go outside always making sure you both look good together, matching outfits? Yes boss! even though you looked like a couple, he made sure he got a brother and sister/brother matching t-shirt. As a joke, but you two wear it religiously every now and then.

Matching bracelets and earrings even to necklaces and shoes, Shelly almost thought he got his self a partner and stopped obsessing over her

riding bikes with him, competing though he always wins since this punk can see which way the wind will go, but he’ll even lose on purpose to see your shit eating grin.

Introduced you to Noah, You two hit it off immediately sharing jokes over owen’s obsession with Shelly and the fact the eunuch won instead

he pulls you away from her , afraid she might “influence” you.

Shelly’s dad also knows you because Owen always talks about you, and that’s when you first met Shelly as well.

You two became friends and you’d scold Owen for ruining Shelly and jay’s cute moment, telling him to move on and find a girlfriend.

Sleepovers 24/7 since his apartment feels lonely at times and you being there makes it better

Fighting over stuff like his belongings, saying he was gonna wear that one hoodie, in the end you win because he can’t stand the small pout you make or ignoring him on purpose saying that’s why Shelly chose jay.

he’ll of course always treat you to food outside

Waaaaay to protective over you, just one person approaching you for your number and he’ll be smiling sadistically, his blue eyes now way to shiny indicating he’s about to act psychotic.

he’ll tell the person to leave his little sibling alone before he’ll throw them in the forest and dispose of their body. He’ll be sad when you give the stranger your number anyways saying he’s the only one you really need

Groaning, trying to remove the arms around your shoulders he just keeps hugging tighter from behind and glares at people. continuing your walk outside he’d steal your slush puppy just to taste the flavor.

“Yours is better tho, here you can have mine instead.”

“Owen, come on dude’ I told you to get the same as me ugh. Fine give me that one.”

He suddenly makes a face after sipping yours a little to much, then giving it back shaking his head like a kid that didn’t like their vegetable.

“It was only good for sippin once, give me mine..please.?”

“Oh my fucking god, here.” handing back his slushy you notice yours is almost empty due to how much he drank turning to him with a wtf face.

He just winks and locks your arm with his and keeps walking, lowering your head in defeat you ask yourself why you even approached him before.

But when he smiles at you, forgetting about your anger and just smiling back.

Happy Halloween everybody! The Fright Knight's hour is upon us at last so as a special treat I cranked out another chapter of "Nevermore" for you guys to enjoy! We're now officially nearing the end of the first arc in Owen's journey which means there's only one chapter left to go! Either way I hope this one gives you a better idea about how the council likes to operate since they've pretty much been shrouded in mystery up until now. Got reminded of an angsty fanfic idea I had a while back that involves a lot more fannon than going to be mentioned.

Cleo had a crush on Owen years ago but, didn't want to mess with her friendship with Miri so kept quiet but, she wrote about it in her diary. Fast forward to "present" and the Joker finds out he's a dad and wants his kid. So he stacks her, steals and the diary, and makes a plan to cause the utmost chaos to get what he wants. Kidnaps Owen to cause distress by blowing up Lori's apartment while recording it on a webcam for Eliza to watch. And, tells the Queens if they want him back then they have to give him his daughter. Also going a step forward by Dark Knighting the situation and placing Owen in one of five bomb sites that if team arrow and company messes up searching they all go boom. Que everyone losing their shit. With a special focus on Cleo, Miri, Eliza, Jason, and Felicity's mental state

it's actually funny you say this because something like this DOES happen

Owen gets taken by I think an enemy of the Bertinelli family (maybe Lorena's direct family and not even an enemy just her family to get her to be involved with the business) and so she and Mia work together to try and get him back and that's how they become friends again

also Elena Rochev had a crush on him but he was dating Cami and then dating Lorena (and he liked Sara before so she was NEVER in his view) so she starts rumors about him that started the whole drama about Lorena and Owen dating.

The small photo booth machine made you sniff Owen’s Jo Malone perfume- as he always babbled to your face. A rough hand of his had come to wrap around your mouth, the other one pointing to his mouth in a silent signal. His eyes were wide, indicating you to stay quiet.

Because if you made one single noise- it was over for the both of you. 

His eyes exaggerate.

You roll yours, forcibly prying it off your mouth as you tried to ignore his obviously toned body flushed against yours. Tried.

You've never assumed Owen's presence and body sandwiched between yours will have your brain foggy and your lungs needy for air. Frankly speaking, you hated Owen, not so much where you held a personal grudge against him, but just enough to have your blood boil whenever you see him.

Owen was noisy. Owen complained a lot. Owen was annoying.

But now what ran through your mind was:

Owen smelled good. Owen looked attractive. Owen felt different.

You carelessly pushed those thoughts away, shaking your head in the process. Nope. You were not going to go through that. The young man's ego was towering enough.

You bit your lip, hands quickly fumbling with the red curtains of the booth, peeking through the slight gap you've created in order to check the situation outside. Your breath hitched as you felt Owen's breath just right above your shoulder, and his chest- you could feel his chest at your back, like a fucking puzzle piece.

“Is it clear?” Owen whispers, voice ringing through your ears and tensing you up more than ever before. You gulp, nodding as your eyes scanned the bright lights of the mall. Anything but fucking this. Anything.

“Can we get out now?” He whispers again, the same vibration reaching your whole body, hair tingling up so swiftly. You didn't know if you were comfortable or uncomfortable in this situation. You didn't know if you wanted to agree or deny his statement.

But as if your hands had a mind of its own, you quickly let go of the curtains with a shake of your head and shutting your eyes tight. Your hands formed into a tight fist. Why in the hell did you say that?!

“I thought the coast was clear?” Owen asks, confused. You quickly turn your head to face him, mouth just inches away from his. You flinched, backing away from him even if it meant hitting your head on the hard steel of the booth.

Yeah. The coast was clear.

“No. Shelly and Jay are still talking.” You whisper beneath your breath.

“Damn,” Owen curses, “It's hella cramped here, my legs won't fit.” He complained.

You pursed your lips, “You're the one that suggested we stay in this cramped place.” Seething, as if slightly annoyed.

Owen rolls his eyes, “Where do you suggest we hide then? That thin pole beside the cinema? Or the platform in front of it? Huh, smarty pants?”

“Five year old.”

“Old lady.”

“Rancid.”

“Party— Hey!” Owen shouts slightly. Your eyes creased, mirroring his silent signal earlier with your index finger. He quickly shuts his mouth, then leans down even closer to you with a frown. Closer. He was unaware of how close he was until the space was nothing more than an inch, nothing more than an imaginary barrier that was on the brink of disintegrating.

“I wear good perfume!”

“You—” You winced, pushing his chest off of you. “Your perfume's too strong.”

“It's not.”

“It is.”

“It's not.”

“Yes, it is.”

“No, it's not.”

“Yes— okay you know what?”

“What?”

“I lied okay? The coast was clear, let's go out now.” You quickly picked up your belongings, no longer waiting for the man as you exited the booth. If you had to spend another minute with his presence and body close to yours, you might lose it and even worse if you had to spend just one more second with his lousy mouth.

“Hey!” You hear Owen's voice from a distance. You continued on walking, refusing to look back. Eventually, he reached you quickly as his footsteps were far larger than yours. He walked alongside you as you skipped, looking straight ahead and ignoring his eyes on you.

“Why'd you lie?” He says, and you could feel the stupid grin on his cheeks. You ignored him, stepping down the escalator. Owen followed suit, putting his hands in his pocket. You mentally prepared with a sigh. The worst was yet to come.

“Did you want to spend more time with me?”

“No.” You quickly retaliate.

“Really? Why did you lie then?” He utters, the hideous grin still plastered on his face.

“It slipped out.” You try to cover. However, Owen was anything but stupid. Doubting your excuse, he hums teasingly with a chuckle. Your footsteps reached the second floor, you quickly hurry without looking back to the next escalator. It did slip out. You almost said, but you quickly held back. 

Why exactly did it slip out anyway? You figured he’d say. 

“Hey!” Owen shouts again, trying to gain your attention. 

“What?” You say, stopping in front of him, annoyed. 

“Look,” Owen grins as he finally gained your eyes on his. He fished something out from his pocket, a thin glossy a4 paper. Your eyes creased as you watched the paper being placed in front of you. 

There, laid your oblivious pictures with him back in the booth. The first box had contained the two of you sitting uncomfortably when you just entered the booth. The second, had shown you peeking out the curtain and Owen posing at the camera with a peace sign as you were completely unaware of the flashing of the camera. The third, was the two of you bickering over stupid nicknames. And the fourth, was the picture wherein Owen had been so close to you, the distance was almost non-existent. Your eyes were wide in that picture, and your expressions were in full display Owen couldn’t help but laugh. 

“This one’s my favorite.” He says, pointing at the fourth picture. Your mouth was left agape as you stared at the pictures in his hand. 

The both of you looked so foolish and dumb... But also so cute and carefree. 

“We look stupid.” You say as a chuckle accidentally slips out of your mouth.

“No we don’t. We look cute- you look cute.”

And for the first time ever, you were unable to argue back with Owen’s statement. If anything- it had left you speechless and maybe even slightly blushing.

Holy crap, Owen sure is being given a lot of power simply by being what and who he is. As a human, he’s the heir to the Ravenheart legacy and everything hidden on his ancestors mansion. And once Vlad adopts him legally, then he’ll be the sole heir to the fortune of the richest man on earth! Then to top it all off, Owen is the legitimate heir to the throne of the Ghost King too?! There are many ghosts who fear and admire the boy already who are willing to follow him simply because it’s their instinct to do so since he’s a necromancer, but...what about a certain ghost knight who once served under the usurper Pariah Dark? Will he feel that sort of loyalty? Or will he feel resentment? Guess we’ll find out in the chapters to come because I REALLY want to bring the Fright Knight into this story!
