Benefits of Strength Training for Women
Strength training is beneficial and worthwhile for both men and women. It is one of the best ways to keep your body and mind healthy, no matter your age. This article will help bring to light the many ways strength training can benefit women who are looking for ways to improve their health with a more functional lifestyle.
Strength training will help women reduce their risks of injury and improve the quality of their life. It's good for both your body and your health, no matter your age or level of fitness. Strength training for women has never been more popular. Many women love the feeling of being fit, and weightlifting has become a popular form of exercise for women.
Strength training Abu Dhabi can be beneficial for many reasons, including but not limited to quicker recovery and better muscle development. Women should be strength training more often than they are, as many of them are lightweights compared to men. There are several benefits of strength training for women as well.
Strength training for women is a great way to improve your health and your fitness. You might be thinking, “why strength training for women?” or “I don't see how lifting weights and getting into shape will benefit me!”. As women we often rely on our body to do the lifting in society whether it be carrying groceries or pushing their children around in strollers while they run errands. Strength training has been known to help reduce chronic pain, increase muscle mass, improve body composition and increase bone density among other benefits.
increases bone density - As women age, especially after menopause, their bone density falls. Exercise that involves lifting weights stresses the bones just enough to encourage them to strengthen. Osteoporosis, which affects 10 million Americans, can be avoided by doing this. It's crucial for elderly women since they are more susceptible to osteoporosis than males are.
Helps with weight loss - Strength training, contrary to popular thought, can aid with weight reduction. Strength training burns calories similarly to cardio, which might assist you in creating a calorie deficit. Excess post-oxygen consumption, which happens when the body continues to burn extra calories for hours after exercise, is also increased by strength training.
Increases confidence It is no secret that the media has strong beliefs about how the ideal female figure should seem. Strength training, in contrast to many cardiac fitness regimes, focuses on functional objectives, such as increasing weight or speed. Women's body image has been shown to improve as a result of this focus shift, and even when aesthetic changes aren't the major objective, they frequently nonetheless take place.
Increase Energy: Vitality levels rise as a result of the body's release of endorphins, which also improve mood and energy. Long cardio workouts, however, might drain the body's energy reserves.
Improve Mental Health:
Strength training has a number of legitimate advantages for your mental health in addition to its physical advantages. It's also about the sensation you receive from lifting weights and engaging in strength training,. You feel strong, which extends beyond your workout and sets the tone for the rest of the day. It's essentially a one-way ticket to unleashing your inner badass.

DREAM GIRL INTRO 2/5 How To Get Started: high maintenance routine (PT 1.)
high maintenance/ADJ/definition: needing a lot of work to keep in good condition
Ladies, one of the best ways to become your dream girl is by establishing and maintaining a high-maintenance routine. When you have a routine and stick to it, you begin to understand your habits and won't settle for less than what you deserve. If you start and end your day with a routine, you build confidence knowing that you are put together mentally and physically.
I have my own routine at the bottom(with details + apps I use) that helps me feel like my best you can take, leave, or add advice to your routine.
Tumblr media
******************************daily********************************
stretch for 5 minutes: as soon as you wake up get the body moving
vitamins: D3, fish oil, fenugreek, pre & probiotics with cranberry, biotin, and prenatal vitamins. (You don't have to be pregnant to take them; they are good for women with many beneficial nutrients.)
Devotional meditation/bible study: Every morning, I pray to connect with Jesus and share my daily concerns with Him. I also read the Bible to deepen my connection with Christ and grow my faith. (I use the Glorify app)
chores: tidy the room, wash dishes, etc. (They change from day to day so you can adjust them to your needs)
Workout: I do a 30 to 55 min workout, I like to go to Chloe Tings workout app because I really feel the burn
quick shower: have a more detailed shower at night
basic skin care: cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF (Again more details later)
oral care: brush teeth, tongue scraping, mouthwash
*******************************NIGHTLY*******************************
pilates: Relaxing before bedtime is essential, and using any app, including YouTube, is a great way to unwind at night.
Detailed shower: dry brush, anti-bacterial soap, shave if needed sugar scrub, then body wash of choice
moisturize: body serum (I use glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and vitamin C, followed up by a thick moisturizer)
skincare: oil cleanser, cleanser, sheet mask, lash & brow serum, eyemask.lip mask
oral care: oil pull brush, tongue scrape, mouthwash, whiting strips
diary& prayer: it's important to write down what is on my mind before I sleep as well as talk to God about it.
✨sleep before 11pm✨
Remember to embrace the beauty of sleep before midnight as it will revitalize you, granting you the gift of radiant, dreamy skin. Approach this as a joyful journey rather than a mere checklist. Let this be your guide to feeling your best and embracing what makes you feel good. Don't forget to hydrate and take a moment to breathe deeply.
part 2 of my routine will be up soon thanks lovelies
-xoxoxo

As a busy mom of two, Karlie Kloss has a long list of professions. No matter the project—investor, entrepreneur, supermodel, activist, publisher, or philanthropist—as Kloss shared with us, she has a steadfast goal: To “be the best version” of herself. This week, she’s teaming up with Thorne for its Find Your Way campaign, which “showcases personalized solutions to help individuals optimize their health and wellness at every age and life stage.” We recently caught up with Kloss to talk supplements, skin care and why walking in New York just might be the ultimate wellness hack.
Q: What made you decide to do this partnership?
A: Thorne is really best in class. I have been a long-time super fan. I was introduced to the products years ago by a nutritionist, during one of the many times where I feel like I just burnt myself out from working and traveling too much. I am so honored to be a part of this campaign because the whole theme of the campaign is Find Your Way, and everyone’s way to wellness looks different. We all have different day-to-day stressors and things that we’re carrying or loved ones we’re taking care of.
I was super honored to, one, work with a company that I respect and appreciate so much. Also, I’m so excited for more people to learn about their brand and their products because it really is such an accessible luxury in a lot of ways. Being able to take time—even if it’s just a minute in the morning to take supplements that are going to be making you feel better all day long—is self-care. I really see supplements as self-care. It’s like an initial upfront investment of time.
That’s at least the way that I’ve approached this—doing my diligence upfront, really learning about all the products, understanding what my needs really are. On Sunday night, I sit down and put all my little vitamins into my kit here, and then just set it and forget it, and the rest of the week is ready. Life gets so busy…it gets so crazy for all of us, but I do feel like this is something that I can rest assured that I’m doing for myself. If I can feel better in my own skin, then I can show up better for my job, and for my loved ones.
Q: That’s great that it’s organic for you. This might be tough, but do you have one hero product that you really love?
A: Well, just one is tough, but I’ll say one that’s really special is the Memoractiv. It is a mix of all sorts of fancy things I cannot pronounce. Ashwagandha is a great one. I also take all the other basics that I love—vitamin C, basic vitamin B complex, but the PharmaGABA and the Memoractiv are two really special Thorne products that I would highly recommend.
I’ve had two babies in the last three years, so I’m a big fan of their Basic Prenatal as well. Then I’d say, also, for those of us who live in New York and are crazy-going, I like to throw their prebiotic in my bag as I’m running out the door. You just put it into a glass of water. It’s an easy, tasty way to take care of yourself.
Q: Living in New York, what does your day-to-day look like for wellness?
A: One thing I love about New York is just discovering great little hole-in-the-wall restaurants and fitness studios. I’m always trying to explore different Pilates classes or different types of classes. I love that. I love the class group workout. You can do pretty much anything in New York. You can scream and dance and cry. There’s something for everyone here, which I love.
Most recently, I’d say I have been enjoying going to a few of the Pilates studios down here in SoHo. I love to put my headphones in or listen to a podcast and just walk and walk and walk. Late at night, my husband and I walk and walk and walk and just enjoy the chaos of New York. It’s good exercise, and it’s good entertainment!
Q: Since we are a beauty magazine, we have to ask: What are your all-time favorite beauty products?
A: Ooh, good question. I love the Living Proof shampoo and conditioner. My hair is quite fine, and especially post-baby has become even finer, so I try and take good care of it. K18 is this really great product for dead ends. Love that product. Estée Lauder has this PowerFoil Face Mask that makes you look like Iron Man for a minute, but it’s the most amazing face mask. Definitely a go-to. Then in New York, I love going to Tracie Martyn—it’s a really great classic facial go-to. I feel like I should be asking you these tips though! But, specially pre-red carpet, their facials are really spectacular!

so apparently the secret to not being grumpy is taking time for yourself.
• I have wanted some watercolors for quite sometime and finally bought some yesterday. I was having to make do with the colors they had in stock but it ended up being the perfect palette for my mood.
• the babies have quieted. for now….but I was able to take time to go to the farmers market for the first time in weeks which made me so joyful and “normal” feeling
• the doodles
• I went back to ballet slippers in my nails after two weeks in a tart cherry that just wasn’t making me happy
• and Pilates. I have a lovely new instructor who emphasizes classical Pilates which makes me so grateful. I left my old studio since they have changed to a contemporary chaos and I was noticing imbalances in my body/possibly injuries which is not the goal for this year!
In other news, I have felt very fortunate lately. this kind of tired only comes from doing work I love, and while I will always need to learn better balance — it is truly a gift to have this kind of fullness you know? so many people I speak to have such distaste with their work, and I recognize the true gift it is to have found this work I love so, at an early season in life.
Today I have postpartum rounds and prenatal sessions so I have crotchet breasts in my bag and my note journal. wish me luck!

Maybe it’s not a bad pregnancy. Maybe it’s just a bad financial situation.
Because in another life it’s not the pregnancy I would change.
I would have enough to not be stressed about looking for ways to increase my income. I would instead take relaxing walks, I would spend my time painting and creating art instead of worrying about the next client I have to book to save for my delivery. I would go to prenatal pilates and yoga, and not worry I’m trading off money I could use for food. I would’ve met some new moms and maybe gain support.
I would have enough to manage my gestational diabetes. More whole and fresh foods than processed. Because if I had enough, I wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of buying food for today and worrying about how I could afford to eat good tomorrow.
I would have enough not to ignore the appointments. I would follow all the recommendations and get all the supplements. I would have not skipped anything and have piece of mind.
I would have time to feel grateful. Time to connect with the baby in my womb.
I would’ve had the time to read and study about infants, schooling and parenting.
I would’ve worried so much less. Gone to more doctor’s appointments for more peace of mind. I would’ve just bought all the organic clothes instead of wondering if polyester is good enough.
I would relax
I would breathe
I would be in good vibrations
I would’ve been so good at pregnancy maybe.
I would’ve been okay.

hello, 2024 In Ireland, at midnight on NYE it's been a tradition to open your backdoor to let the old energy from the year out + open the front door to let the new fresh energy in. Out with the old, in with the new. As a [recently discovered] Irish gal myself, I'll be participating in this tradition. It reminds me of an even classier version of the Irish exit, which I've been a fan of for many years now. With that being said...

Trader Joe's flowers just because
Cold showers
Forgiving people for your own sanity
Water flossing in the shower

Best Prenatal Workout Online in 2023 - Bodylove-Mamas
Online prenatal workouts are so fantastic because of this: without ever having to leave your house, you can fit these sessions for improving your pregnancy's health into your routine. benefits of exercise for both you and your unborn child, but let's face it: Finding the time to work out while pregnant is difficult given your intense fatigue, constant morning sickness, the need to prepare a nursery, and your day job (and, if you have other children to look after, forget about it!). Online prenatal exercises are so fantastic because of this: without ever having to leave your house, you can fit these sessions for improving your pregnancy's health into your routine.
