After what felt like forever I finally finished drawing Mint as a human-
AAAAAAAAAA-
MY BBG! (/J /J /J-)
But yeah, this is Mint in her human form-
I definitely plan on drawing her again (Although maybe do the official A.I design before drawing more of her human form-)
I don't remember how long this took- :')

what r ur opinions on neovim/helix editor etc :3
i think they're cool but don't have the energy to learn it
oh i hate to disappoint but i am a vscode girlie. not even code OSS or vscodium (i tried but had issues)
i edit single files in kwrite, or sometimes vscode when i know i'm going to need some features such as json formatting
and when i actually need to edit text in a terminal i use nano, with the only setting being tab=4 spaces. so to answer your question i don't have an opinion as i haven't used neovim nor helix
now if someone wants to preach their CLI text editor that'll make it 12.7% easier for me to edit my nginx config files over ssh i'm all ears (obtuse shortcuts forbidden)
#i only have 2 text editor opinions#whatever they had by default in gnome (or was it mint?) during my exam 2 years ago pissed me off. i don't remember why#and notepad.exe is more complicated than it should be if it truly wanted to be the lightest thing possible#éva answers#éva posts#programming#text editors

truly so baffling to me to hear people complain about their electronics like my coworker was complaining that her 2017 Mac was so slow its barely functional and it’s like what do you MEAN your 8 year old Mac is dead? mine is from 2013 and runs flawlessly?? what are you doing to your $1000 machine ??? filling it with peanut butter and TikTok viruses?????
#and I’m fairly callous with mine. I’ll download anything. (although I am a tech guy so like I can think critically but#I do tend to download a bunch of random shit from like Reddit threads and forums lol) and yet my Mac is like practically mint.#his only crime is sometimes he dies at 20% and gets hot and can’t run 32bit programs (<apple’s fault)#he’s still running max graphics stardew valley with 900 mods and Minecraft mid graphics with 200 and like 30fps (<good for modded mc)#Apple truly making solid products considering every midrange windows pc I’ve used became garbage in like 4-5 years 🫥#ive spent more on my 4 windows PCs in the last 20 years than this one Mac that will probably keep trucking for another 10 years.#Like sorry im not an apple freak but considering how many devices I’ve bought used and fiddled with…… kind of incredible how Apple has#somehow managed to come out on top in the longevity/ease of use/privacy departments.#if windows didn’t force you to update and use their bloatware bullshit and not let you CONTROL THE MACHINE YOU BOUGHT id be less mad#but every time I use win 10 or 11 I want to shoot myself in the head. win1011 softwares practically feel like malware.#a day in the life of steeve#only reason I would ever have a windows device is to play sims 2. (works on Mac but no utilities which are indispensable these days).#and I’m thankful Emily has a top tier gaming laptop for me to use for sims <3#if I ever need another pc I think I’ll venture into Linux. my steam deck runs Linux and it feel so pleasant and friendly compared to win11.

in my research for what the hell Linux is in an effort to switch to it, I've watched a few "What your distro says about you" knowing that they're only partly joking probably.
Anyway I'm waiting for "Mint: you're scared of the command line but you're more scared of windows recall"
#Pire.txt#If it's not blatantly obvious that's me#I'm scared of the command line but more scared of windows recall#Anyway if anyone has Linux (specifically mint cinnamon) tips I probably haven't heard yet I welcome some advice#Or pointers to tools that mark me as today's lucky 10k#I'm gonna do it scared but by god am I going to do it#I already have it downloaded onto a flash drive#Which took more than one try already so I'm sure that bodes well for me#I'm already using Firefox and libreoffice#And discord and steam and minecraft is supposed to be supported#So I should be good on the programs I use#And I'm keeping the windows 10 on my laptop for troubleshooting until it dies completely and totally

this is a small dumb thing but we put our taskbar on the side of the screen (instead of the bottom) and it's unbelievable how much bigger our screen feels now. like. on a simple factual level the screen is wider than it is tall, so the taskbar is occupying fewer pixels now (same width, shorter length) but yeah. anyway.
#we put our taskbar on the side of the screen at work because there's a particular screenshot we need to get frequently#and with the taskbar at the bottom we need to f11 fullscreen the program it comes from but with taskbar at the side we don't need to#but we just now did it on the home computer#should we tag this linux? we use linux mint but like. ''taskbar on the side instead of bottom'' isn't a unique function of linux obvs.#like the work computer is windows 10 (upgrading to 11 soon 🤮)... anyway.

You can tell all the people in the comments have NEVER used Linux as a non-programmer. I can tell you from experience- the ability to uninstall Edge is not worth 99% of apps not working and the other 1% be significantly buggier. I'm sure it's good for programmers or people with ideological issues with big software- but otherwise it's just more frustrating to do literally anything.
Telling young zoomers to "just switch to linux" is nuts some of these ipad kids have never even heard of a cmd.exe or BIOS you're throwing them to the wolves
#The only Linux feature I liked better was that there was more keyboard options#Keep in mind that I was using Linux Mint- the 'user friendly' Linux#I'm tired of people acting like Linux is magically better- it's good for what it is but it's still meant for programmers not laypeople#Don't get me started on Endeavor OS#There is NO REASON modern software opens the terminal rather than the program you clicked on#rant#cw caps

Weekly output: FCC fines wireless carriers, REPORT Act, broadband labels, T-Mobile now owns Mint Mobile, Affordable Connectivity Program rescue options
This week starts with the wireless trade group CTIA’s 5G Summit on Monday but otherwise doesn’t have too much in the way of appointments or deadlines–which after the end-of-the-month crush last week feels like a real treat. (Speaking of stories written in the last hours of April, I wrote a post for Patreon readers Tuesday about the unpredictable nature of WordAds income here.) 4/29/2024: FCC…

Know Everything About the Minting Program of AXMachine!

Welcome to the AXMachine DeFi Referral Minting Program, an initiative planned and announced to bring together an innovative group of developers and creators. You can effectively collaborate on building and introducing a wide range of cutting-edge earning products/applications within the decentralized finance ecosystem. For cooperative effects and success of Defi applications, the team has innovated the AXMint project boasting an incentivised referral system on the blockchain.
Being an early active participant, you can grab this opportunity to earn rewards for the periodical minting of AXM Tokens [native asset to AXMachine ecosystem]. This is a new yet crucial minting platform with an intention to foster community growth and make engagement effective while bringing in a decentralized network to benefit all its community members.
AXMachine project and team are ready to generate a high-volume market cap with AXM coin appreciation of 1800% in the next 5 years. So, the agenda is high-end, you can positively join the bandwagon to explore the best markets with the AXMachine universe along with a diverse array of upcoming earning opportunities being a part of this network.
AXMint Program
AXMint program is an active earning campaign posed by South Africa and United Kingdom-based company AXMachine Blockchain Services Private LTD. This program will allow you to operate the minting bots on a blockchain server and in fact, earn AXM Tokens daily. This campaign is loaded with additional income boosters such as referrals, kinds of leadership rewards, and binary incentive rewards. The AXMint minting program is a crypto project where you can win maximum profits by using the network protocols.
You can also invite others while participating in the program and in return earn commissions from the different referrals’ minting activities. This campaign is powered by the AXMachine blockchain [decentralized platform] to enjoy fast, safe, and scalable transactions. It claims to be a convenient and profitable way for enthusiasts, investors, users, and interested candidates alike to mine virtual assets.
AXMint Business Plan
· User can purchase and activate any of the minting packages.
· Every minting bot will run for around 365 days and mint new tokens eventually.
· Minted new assets are tradeable on listed exchanges.
· You can utilize the affiliate and other booster programs to grab tons of AXM tokens.
Minting Program Bots Packages
To participate in the minting program, you initially should create a user account with Axmint.io to get eligible to enjoy all perks and events while making a purchase of the minting bot package. The packages come in a wide range pattern from $100 — $10,000, and each package is designed with a different minting capacity as well as duration. Make sure that the higher its package, the more rewards you have the chance to earn.
When you choose a package and get activated, a new node is generated in the network.
The nodes act as minting algorithms to mint new tokens as per the hash power.
The higher your package, the higher you get the hash power, hence; minting benefits for more tokens.
What is Minting Income in Tokens?
“Minting income in tokens” phrase relates to the process of two words “minting” which means the creation of cryptocurrency tokens and then earning income from created tokens. Check out the exact process working:
1. Token Creation or Minting
Minting is done by creating a new set of cryptocurrency tokens usually on blockchain platforms such as Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain where assets can be digital currencies even owned within a specific project.
2. Initial Creation or ICO
In a few scenarios, assets are generated through an Initial Coin Offering or say Initial Token Offering where assets are sold to investors in return for established digital assets like Bitcoin/Ethereum.
3. Yield Farming or Staking
Once tokens are generated and in use, you as a holder can eventually earn income via yield farming or staking. This process refers to offering liquidity to DEXs or any lending platforms in return for interest/rewards in the form of cryptocurrencies. Whereas, staking terms specify to lock up a certain amount of assets in a blockchain network while incorporating a staking mechanism. In exchange, you will get rewards/interest in the form of extra tokens.
4. Liquidity Provision
Some of you mint assets and then offer liquidity to DEXs by depositing cryptocurrencies into liquidity pools, hence; earning certain fees from trading on the platform.
5. Governance and Voting
Some of the ecosystems give holders advocated rights to earn income by joining in governance activities where you can freely vote on proposals/decisions regarding the project’s development. As a result, you earn assets as rewards for the active participation.
6. NFT Minting
In some scenarios, the term “minting” can also relate to the creation of non-fungible tokens where artists and creators are allowed to feasibly mint NFTs such as digital art, collectables, or any sort of unique items and in exchange earn income from the sale made.
7. Risks and Considerations
We all believe that minting income in cryptocurrencies seems profitable, still, the process carries vulnerable risks. As cryptocurrency markets are volatile, hence; the value of cryptocurrencies might fluctuate at any time barging with the market trends. So, we recommend every user to perform the mandatory research and get known with the underlying technology, the specific token project, along its potential risks prior to getting involved. Also, be aware of the tax implications of earning income in cryptocurrency, as tax laws also depend on and vary by jurisdiction.
8. Diversification
Diversifying your virtual holdings is often associated with managing risk rather than putting all your earnings into a single token, you should spread and explore other investments across various projects.
9. Legal and Regulatory Compliance
While you decide to mint cryptocurrencies, you should always consider compliance with local and international regulations and then think about earning income in the cryptocurrency space. Make sure you understand all applicable laws and regulations.
Henceforth, AXMint brings you the golden opportunity to earn minting income in tokens and freely participate by being a part of the growing cryptocurrency ecosystem. However, work with caution, understand the basic and associated risks; and then conduct your research prior to making any investment using all sorts of resources.
