What is your favorite idea off the 4 page idea document? (Also: hello!!)

Hello! So that would be the one I'm currently working on because I'm inspired by it. And I recently got the idea so I'm excited by it.

Here's the idea: Just before season 6, Crowley offers Cas the famous deal of working together to open Purgatory and get the souls (like in canon). But Cas doesn't trust him and since he doesn't want to ask Dean if it's a good idea or not, he time travels in the past. Sam is still in Stanford while Dean hunts alone. He wants to know if Dean would like to have peaceful life, away from hunting and with a family of his own.

I'm not sure if there'll be smut. I already have the title though. It's called "I'm doing this because of you" to refer to Cas's line from episode 6x20 The Man Who Would Be King when he comes to Bobby's house and talk with Dean. And by saying that it kind of refers to the fact that he does that because of Dean, because of Dean from the past. Because this Dean he asked told him that he wanted a peaceful life and a family.

I don't know if it really makes sense, in my mind it does at least. And I hope it will makes sense when I'll finish it.

And I know you asked just for one, but since I LOVE human!cas I have to mention it. Months ago I started a looooong fic which is an alternate season 9 with Cas staying human and living at the bunker with the brothers and Kevin and I tried resolving all plots from this season but it's hard and now I'm lost so I stopped, but maybe one day I'll finish it. Because I'll be happy to achieve that.

Do you think as the private members Minghao and Joshua would ever confide in each other about their sex lives bc they know the other gets the privacy piece or would they keep it private from each other too

actually yes! but I think that has to do with the fact that it's specifically Minghao and Joshua. they're known for hanging out alone sometimes, especially to drink wine. I think they're very comfortable with each other and they have some personality overlap that makes it easy for them to open up. so they'd definitely be more willing to talk about their sex lives, their relationships or even just sex in general when it's only them having a nice meal and sharing a bottle of wine.

i feel like not enough ppl are factoring in the cultural clash between laios and shuro and the many micro agressions shuro faced while being in their group. literally the name 'shuro' in itself is one

his name is toshiro 😭 lets also not forget that he has his own communication issues, in the opposite way that laios does- thats literally a factor in their argument, that his envy for laios's ability to express himself sincerely manifested as part of his distaste for him.

ig all this to say like, was their fight heart wrenching, especially when reading laios as autistic? absolutely. anybody whos ever been in laios's position knows how much it hurts to realize someone you thought was your friend doesnt actually like having you around, especially when they didnt tell you and you had no way of knowing due to not understanding their cues. but im begging yall to step back and see the nuance of this situation cause im gonna be real a lot of you are kinda just brushing over it acting like everything is toshiros fault and that hes a terrible person when in reality hes an average guy who really, really clashed with laios and it led to a very long misunderstanding due to their supremely opposite methods of communication. even laios and toshiro, after letting everything out in their fight, were able to come to an understanding and start a foundation for an actual friendship built on better communication

ok yknow what Edit: i shouldve made it even more explicit at the end of this post, i hadnt thought i would need to since i started the post with this, but i think a few too many people are missing my point so i just wanna clarify. i shouldnt have said 'really clashed' and left it at that because yeah they did, but it wasnt just their opposite methods of communication, it is also very much that toshiro was experiencing microaggressions via laios. it may have been unintentional on laios's part, but it still happened and wore him down, made it harder for him to communicate on top of both the more subtle social cues that he was raised with and his own communication difficulties. i also want to say that the fandom reaction to toshiro and the complete ignorance of this point is also racist tbh or at the very least ignorant. i understand that the anime did not cover this panel, and neither did the manga, as this was an omake, but im gonna be real with you guys. there are enough context clues within the story to clue you into this. if you didnt pick up on it thats ok, but i think this is a good lesson in picking up subtext in the stories that youre watching and/or reading. kui shouldnt have to explicitly say 'by the way laios was racist to toshiro' for this point to be understood, and at the very least, when the author portrays a character in a sympathetic light (as kui clearly does) it should make you question Why they are doing so and what makes them sympathetic, rather than youre immediate and only reaction to be 'well i hated what this guy did/said so i hate them and they suck'. idk exactly how to finish this, just. idk. question your biases and gut reactions to things you see in media and stories, and think about whether or not theres subtext that youre missing.

I've been thinking about resurrection eggs today, those plastic eggs with items related to the crucifixion they give to kids around Easter, and thinking about how disturbing the whole thing is

Like, I think the whole concept of essentially celebrating human sacrifice is disturbing enough, but imo it's even more disturbing that we're told about the crucifixion as kids, that we're told about the torture and violence in detail, that we're told his suffering is our fault because we specifically are so evil and horrible and sinful that someone had to be tortured to death to make up for it, that we're told it should have been us up there, that we deserve suffering and violence and abuse and torture simply for existing... and probably other things I'm not thinking of right now, it's all just so sickening

But to do all that while trying to wrap it in a ‧˚₊*̥∗*‧˚₊*̥ uwu cute and innocent little interactive activity for kids uwu ‧˚��*̥∗*‧˚₊*̥ where they physically have items like a mini spear that represents the one that pierced his side, a crown of thorns to represent the one he was forced to wear, nails to represent the ones that were used to hold him on the cross, leather cords to represent the whip he was beaten with, dice to represent casting lots for his clothes, cloth to represent the linen he was wrapped in after... i don't really have proper words for how disgusting it feels to me now. It's such a "look at what you've done, look at how you did it, look at what you personally contributed to by existing being sinful" while actively trying to make it more appealing to kids in the hopes that they'll internalize it better

Idk. The whole thing is just extremely repulsive to me. It's one thing to talk about the resurrection specifically, but I don't understand how so many people believe graphic depictions of torture and violence are totally fine for kids on its own even without all the other shit that comes with it
