Hey so I've decided that, seeing as QuakeCon is upon us once again with the inevitable Quake 2 Remaster that is soon to be revealed, the event often happening during the Summer, and also the fact I've been on a big Quake kick lately, I've decided to declare August...

The Summer of id!

To mark the occasion, while there is the Quake 1 Remaster by Nightdive Studio that makes for a good jumping off point for new players who are unfamiliar with the legendary title, I also want to point towards an exciting new source port that released a couple months back that includes a whole slew of QOL improvements over even Quakespasm;

I can't believe I have 100%ed mass effect andromeda multiple times and it just hit me that the jardaan are named that b/c. y'know. jardin. garden. because they're gardeners of life/their whole deal was to create the we are as space gods slash mad scientists sci-fi equivalent of the garden of eden.
