It’s so heartbreaking, but incredibly written

Headcanons of mine or my Au idk yet😍 (Hades Game x Iliad and a bit of tsoa)

this is stupid ik...and probably terrible😭 BUT PLS READ ANYWAYS

1.Achilles was a total bitch ass in life and we all know it, but what if Thetis tried to save his son ass one last time, she told Zeus to give her son another chance in the afterlife and Zeus tells Hades to make Achilles train his son, Zagreus (refering to Hades game). I can just imagine Hades, leterally giving Zag off to Achilles, that has a weakness for kids but he is not good with them, so he starts panicking, but tries to teach him a couple of things, how to behave and not do his same mistakes, since the regret he feels. Also when he and Patroclus meet again in the underworld, Patroclus sees Achilles and could tell he changed, that he was a bit calmer, even tho he still had some beef in him.

2. I thought this at 4 am so if its weird i was feeling freaky💞..But, i feel like Hades, when Achilles firstly arrived at the House of Hades, not only was made Hades royal guard, but Hades probably mistook him for Persephone at least from behind..I though this bc of my design of Achilles, i wanted to make sure to keep that devine look of his, so i find it funny that Hades mistakes him for his wife since he misses her a lot..

3. Antilochus and Deidamia were both so gay for Achilles. (Pat did not wanna share with Antolochus) [Anti had a lil crush on Pat too]

4. Hades got drunk and told Achilles to put Persephone's clothes (Still weird thoughts of 2 am, was feeling delulu)

5. Apollo for pure fun would curse Achilles to be a girl and fail bc Achilles was already in disguaise once, he loves dresses and feeling pretty.

6. Achilles and Patroclus bullied whole troy and Greek camp, the only ones that saved themselves were Briseis and Antilochus.

7. Since Polygamy was a thing, all the women Achilles, in the iliad, like Penthesilea (i hope i wrote her name correctly), fell in love with, surely pegged him. He is a bottom every situation, no matter the gender. Deidamia pegs him def..

I stumbled on your blog and i love it sm!!

Its so weird, because i am a huge Marius fan, and you put many reasons why he is my absolute favorite character as things why he SUCKS! Its so cool to me, to read something so accurate and then have someone put out a completely different opinion on it! (i do not think he is Good, none of them are. But i think he is cool, his better qualities resonate with me the most of all the characters, i love lore, and i love reading about him the most)

There are few things, that i do not understand and it bothers me endlessly! I just can't figure out where some readings come from, very sinserely (because i want to respect other readings and interpretations), maybe you could help me understand?

First: that Marius dislikes being challenged and tries to "keep Armand to himself"(generalizing) - as i read it, Marius prefers people who challenge him, can stand up to him. All of his paramours are like that - Pandora, Bianca, Armand, Lestat, Daniel..even Botticelli actively defy him, in a way other characters don't and Marius himself is vocal on that being something he admires about them. He does not know how to deal with that, oh no, but he loves it - the fire he himself does not possess. He also actively helps Armand learn about his culture and family, ready to be left behind when they visit Kievan Rus. He also never shows any type of concern about Armands "daytime" personal connections. As i remember, he encourages it decpite objections, actually.. My personal reading is that most drama and abuse between Marius and Armand is about Marius refusing the codependency Armand desperatly wants. (and them being oppisitely unhealthy about that)

Second: there is a notion, that Marius would not want Armand to grow up? And i do not understand where it comes from at all... Marius actively states (and thinks) that his own wish is to see Armand grown into a Man and he refuses time and time again to turn him before then (or to turn him at all) , until Armand is on the deaths door. (i also saw a thing about shaving, but all of them are shaved before the turning as an old ritual, canonically, i believe, only Santino is unshaved so. I might be wrong tho lol. One of canon reasons (again, if my memories are not faulty) - facial and body hair might go in and out of style, so clean shave helps them blend in better)

I you would spare some time to let me understand where those come from i would be forever grateful, because i sometimes think i am blind (and i might be! Thats why i ask. I am a bit scared that i might be percieved in bad faith, but if i have a blindspot i will not see it myself, so getting outside help is the only way haha)

I think that the reason a lot of my Marius posts seem to contradict parts of canon is bcus Marius is a very self contradictory character. His wants are often in conflict with each other, and in his relationship with Armand he is always warring between conflicting desires.

First: I definitely agree that Marius seeks out people who challenge him and does rlly enjoy it (to an extent lol). but the way I perceive it, marius likes to be challenged *to an extent*. He doesn’t want a partner who will be weak and docile with him, he wants a partner he’ll need to fight into being docile and he wants to loose that fight<3.He prefers someone with some fire in them, clearly, based on his choice of lovers lol. And I think this is bcus Marius likes the chase, like any vampire. He likes the thrill of being with someone who makes him hurt for it a little bit, he likes fighting and arguing and struggling to stifle a spark he knows is too bright to put out. But also, like most ppl lol, Marius likes to be challenged only so much as he isn’t challenged to the point of having to change himself. He doesn’t want to change his perspective, whenever a partner of his gets him to rethink how he thinks or acts he tends to get rlly mad. He wants to be challenged as long as it’s fun, if he’s uncomfortable or feeling like he might actually adopt a new perspective or change as a person he puts a stop to it. At the end of the day he needs that teacher and student or master and subordinate dynamic to stay in tact. He likes to be challenged but he doesn’t like to be weakened or caught off guard in anyway that makes him question his authority or his strength.

When it comes to Marius helping Armand rediscover his culture, yas! This actually is a good transition bcus this is also a good example of what I’m talking about when it comes to the being challenged thing. Marius is happy and eager to help Armand heal from the demons of his past by rediscovering the family and culture hes forgotten, so long as Armand is obedient and answering to his call at the end of the day. Marius is happy to be left on the sidelines, up until armand starts disregarding his authority and moving away from him on his own path. After coming home from Kiev Armand realizes that he doesn’t gain anything from learning from Marius and he would rather learn on his own by discovering himself and processing what this new culture means to him. And Marius let’s him have this, until he realizes that he’s loosing his control over Amadeo and he is not going to come back to him without a push, and he beats the absolute shit out of him 😭 again, challenged to an extent.

Second: when marius first buys Armand he explains in blood and gold that part of why he chose Armand was bcus he wanted a vampire companion in Bianca, but he felt too guilty to turn Bianca bcus she was a bright young woman with a future ahead of her, so he chose Armand to be his future vampire companion instead bcus Armand was broken enough to not have a chance of a future anyway (therefore turning him is guilt free). Then, marius learns very quickly that Armand could easily have a future just as bright as Bianca, once he’s under his care he starts to prosper, and he realizes that turning him into a vampire would be equally as cruel as turning Bianca. So his motive changes, and he decides that his desire to turn Armand is wrong and he should instead give him the chance to live a full human life just like any of the other boys. Marius wants this bcus he knows that it’s the right thing to do, to give up the person he loves for their own good. But it’s also, deep down, not what he wants at all, bcus it agonizes him to think of a future where he doesn’t have Amadeo. So this creates this self contradictory mess, where Marius is aiming both at the same time to turn Armand into a vampire and also to let him live a human life. He starts doing contradictory things, like feeding Armand his blood and exposing him to vampirism + getting him hooked on it, and then sending him out to “experience humanity” bcus that’s what Marius wants for him.

It caused Armand to be driven absolutely insane, bcus he’s being communicated two different things about what Marius wants for his future. I think Marius’s conflicting desire causes part of Armand’s desperate begging for him to turn him. Armand is so fed up with this mind melding conflict he just wants Marius to rip the band aid off and do it 😭 cuz they both know it’s what they both want. And Marius knows that this is the terrible abusive option, and he can’t get Armand to see this bcus Armand is too far deep in his love brain.

So my answer is, Marius wants Armand to grow up bcus he knows that’s what’s best for him, but he continues to hold out on the possibility of vampirism and refuses to cut ties with Armand bcus he rlly does want to turn him against his better judgement, which in my opinion reads as a desire to keep him young, under his control, in that limbo stage where he doesn’t need to make a decision. Partly bcus if Armand is young and compliant and his body isn’t changing the clock isn’t ticking and Marius doesn’t have to confront that his choices r either loose Amadeo or ruin him.

when it comes to the “shaving Armand was part of a vampire ritual” personally I don’t remember that? It’s not that I don’t believe u, that could totally be accurate and it definitely sounds like smth that would be canon, but I’m struggling to remember if I read that and forgot. I’ve always perceived the Marius shaves Armand cuz he wants to preserve his youth thing as accurate bcus it’s interesting and makes sense for the characters and I don’t remember anything that contradicts it lol, I also don’t remember any other character being shaved pre turning as a ritual besides Armand so I didn’t consider if it was a vampire thing. but u could be right and if so oops I’m sorry for spreading misinfo 😭 but either way that’s still gonna be my headcanon and my interpretation is much the same lol

You Then came back later that night to Wukong sitting on the couch waiting for you And you quickly showed them the head of the demon who attacked him in Mk Smiling and telling him that It was all taken care of Wukong Really needs to remember Insane you low key are😰

(Mk Wukong) You think these jackasses would learn their lessons? But no they still want to go mess with your monkey king. When you he came to you he was bleeding a lot like Concerningly a lot. You stayed calm for your caring. As you listened to him, complain about the whole thing and explain to you what happened and all you did was tell him the rest. When you finally got him to take a nap, you grab your tools and took off to find the demons who did this to him. When you got back, you showed master Tang. The head of the dead man who hurt your husband and said that he'll be out of commission for a while and if there's anything he needs him to do. You found Wukong awake and Liuer Was sleeping. You then told Wukong That there is nothing to worry about for now as you took Liuer to bed. And then you said take care of this for me as you toss the decapitated head of the demon that attacked them They really shouldn't have made you angry.

(Netflix Wukong) he was actually scared to tell you that he got hurt because one he didn't want to seem weak to you and two He remembered the last time somebody ended up hurthing and he had to go to you to get patched up. It's a scary situation. So when he had to go to you and told you that he got into a fight with a demon who put up a very good fight. It was shocking that you calmly told them that it was all right. And you bandaged his booboos with no problem. You told Lin to keep an eye on him It make sure it doesn't move too much while you goto take care of something. You grabbed your tools and walked out of your home. You then came back home later that night showing him the head of the demon that hurt. Him asking if this was him. Pale in the face he then tells you that is him. You smiled saying that there won't hurt you any more before I walk into the kitchen.

what are your writing strengths?

i'd like to think that my dialogue is engaging, my pacing is decent, i have good comedic timing, and that my overall plots (while maybe nothing groundbreaking) are fun and entertaining 🥺

what are your writing weaknesses?

OVERPLANNING, overwriting, and overthinking in general. needing to write in order and being a terminal edit-as-i-go person, which makes it difficult to continue, then getting upset that i'm not progressing akjhskjhs. i fear i'm always walking the fine line between "girl who just likes to yap and wants you to see this as clearly as she does" and writing in circles with purple prose, and i tend to latch onto both my outlines and specific lines/portions that i write far too strongly and have a really hard time letting them go, even when it becomes apparent that they're a big part of what's holding me back (actively working on a lot of this though, and i do think i'm getting a bit better!)

thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

i'm most comfortable incorporating other languages as single words or phrases, but if it served the purpose of the fic to have full dialogue, i'd also just want to have a native speaker to check with or i'd be terrified to royally mess it up lmao

1. autism!!! (I don’t have autism but I saw someone on tiktok headcanon him to be autistic so yeah!!!🤩🤩 if i’m not allowed to like headcanon him to have autism since I don’t have it then pls tell me!!)

2. dyslexia! (no specific reason for this just saw someone else headcanon him to have terrible spelling)

4. dark shadow killed someone when they were both younger (possibly his grandad?) and it’s stuck with Fumi [like in that scene in Ep 44 roaring upheaval where when DS was going wild he said “get away from me!! you’ll die!!”☹️☹️]

5. he and dark shadow both had grudges against Hawks during the first week when they met him (birds hold grudges☺️☺️☺️)

6. gives crystals to those he likes (platonically or romantically your choice!!) like penguins do with rocks

7. HATES when someone ignores him. biggest ick ever (kinda canon cuz when Hawks ignored his phone calls and stuff during the vigilante arc and when izuku was just daydreaming about kacchan and accidentally ignored Fumi)

8. definitely got annoyed by class 1A (mostly Mina and Denki) once when he was eating chicken or something and they struck up a conversation about cannibalism (saw this in a fic I think??)

9. once got caught in his room doing a demon ritual (he revelled too much in the dark)

10. if he were looking for a romantic partner, he’d definitely go with someone who’s the complete opposite of him due to most birds liking shiny stuff (probably someone like Aoyama but I’m a multi-shipper so I’m fine with anything!!)

Fic idea - Jet is a spicy kitten (Jetko)

So since I will soon have less time to write due to getting a real grown up job, I wanted to get some of my ideas written down before that happens. They might become actual fics at some point, so spoil it for yourself if you want to I guess? One thing that keeps plauging my Jetko heart is the fact that in canon Jet never discovered that Zuko was a prince, just that he was a firebender. Imagine the fucking conniption he'd have over that... (as he pretty much does in Second Chances)

So let's say Jet survives, but he doesn't escape. He passes out, but looks very much like like he's gone. Smellerbee and Longshot sit with him but eventually leave him behind, thinking he's dead and they can't carry him out of there and escape themselves. There were a lot of people under Lake Laogai, and most of them quickly get transferred to other prisons by the Dai Li before they collapse the whole thing. They also stumble upon Jet and take him with them. This leads to Jet being imprisoned again. How would anyone know he's alive? After the war ends and Zuko is crowned firelord he returns to Ba Sing Se to visit and during this visit, war prisoners are exhanged from both sides. Zuko is shown around the prison and lo and behold who does he find there? His old crush/friend/enemy. Horrified he immediately wants Jet released.

Jet is of course enraged about being by being granted mercy by a stupid firebender and also really confused about how a tea server suddenly has the power to do that. And why is he wearing such fancy clothes?

But he is also smart enough not to protest until he's out. Fighting the firebender can wait 2 minutes, right? Except then someone says Zuko's title out loud right as he is let out, and nope, Jet hits the roof and tries to commit murder.

But he's weak and the guards get him down. Zuko tries to explain that no, no, this is normal Jet behaviour, it's fine, just let him go, while Jet is still screaming about wanting to slice him down the middle right next to him.

The earth kingdom guys suggest that they can release him after Zuko leave Ba Sing Se as they don't particularly want a diplomatic crisis on their hands. Zuko doesn't trust the earth kingdom to actually let Jet go later on, so he takes him into custody as his own prisoner.

One of Zuko's advisors jokes that it's like having a feral kitten in a cage trying to tame it. Not knowing what else to do Zuko takes this too literally and starts asking people a lot of questions about how to tame kittens. He applies this knowledge with varying succes.

Cue Zuko owning a very spicy kitten that hisses a lot and has to be tamed before being rehomed.

Zuko: 🥰😺 Jet: 🤬😾 Everyone else: 😰😨😐

(If you can't already tell I love the dynamic of one person wanting to murder the other, while the other one is not taking it seriously at all and just thinks he's adorable and "misunderstood")

So I rescued Peach on another save file. Pretty much the biggest difference between that and this Luigi scenario was that the Extension Corps didn’t appear in the cell room (edit: well, they did as shown in a flashback later), and the bros and the Idle kids worked together to solve the code to bail Peach and the other hostages out. Meanwhile, Luigi and Snoutlet here are enacting their own escape. And I freakin’ love it! I can see why a lot of people chose Luigi as the interrogator 😁

I’m a firm believer on the happily ever after. Star Wars is a sad ending enough. So, I never write bad endings.

The only exception is “Not enough”. It ended with Obikin separated BUT I wrote a happy ending for them in a second part. People who like unhappy endings could just stay there, and people who like happy ending could go and finish their story. I wrote it in a very difficult moment. I was angry and I wanted to write something angsty. But then, I calmed and I give them their happy ending 🥰

What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Oh, gosh! All my fics have Happy Endings, so I can’t choose 🙈 but I can give you the fluffiest of them all: Here goes the baby.

Never 🥰 my readers are lovely people. I’m so lucky with them.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Done! I love my Argentinian Anakin 🥰 (you can see him sing in Spanish here: “Once upon a dream”).

I speak 5 languages well (Spanish, French, Catalan, Italian, and English) and destroy one last (Dutch). In a galaxy full of sentiens from different cultures, I’m certain than Jedi can speak many languages (specially knowing that our Obi-Wan is one of the few humans that can speak Twi-Leki 🥰).

I don't care what Respawn and EA think, Trilla survived and lives forever after happy with her Jedi 😤 (there a possibility of a threesome with a certain witch, I’m not picky)
