i would love to be john price's (141's) little bird.
(afab reader, you're lowkey a housewife, g/n pronouns, this was also a lot longer than i meant it to be-1.2k words- and i also wrote it entirely in class)
part 2
just the cute little thing he comes home to after long missions; ready to give him anything he needs to fully enjoy his time at home. barefoot and wide-eyed waiting for your bear of a husband to return from his long hard mission, keeping him fed and fucked as much as he needs. and he just loves you so much-- so much that he needs to show everyone how good you are for him.
it's not like he sets out to rub it in, but when his sergeant mentions not having anyone waiting for him at home-- john just can’t help but invite him over, you always talk about how much you love taking care of him, adding another man shouldn't be a problem! and what kind of captain would he be if he didn't take care of his subordinates?
and you aren't complaining! you love when john lets you see into his job! and gaz is just so sweet, saying please and thank you, offering to help clean the dishes, and politely refusing any leftovers even when you all know he has no food to go back to. so, you just have to keep inviting him over, night after night. and he's so good at conversations, even when he and your husband talk with all their military jargon, he makes sure you understand all of it; you just want to keep him in your house forever! so you kind of do…
you can't imagine making him go all the way home to his cold and dark apartment, it's so far and you know he's tired from his month of constant action-- so suddenly kyle has a bedroom set up right next to yours (close enough to hear how john thanks you for being so good to his sergeant, and just maybe a hand goes down below his waistband) a fully stocked bathroom and a place to put his shoes when you all come back your occasion dinners out. (they're dates, you don't think it but they do)
but kyle is not a man so stay silent about his blessings. you're too nice, too pretty to not tell soap about-- and trust john isn't going to complain, and he knows that you won’t either. 'the best roast i think i've ever had' and 'knows exactly how to make a man feel at home' and soap is not one to stray from his desires.
so you end up with your boys, and a bubbling scotsman in your dinning room with no warning. and you're upset, no one told you that you had to make more food and now there isn't enough to give everyone your usual heaping portion- and there is no way you're letting anyone go hungry in your home!
so you end up bouncing around the kitchen, trying to whip something up before the main course finishes in the oven and who but soap offers to help you out! he's got a hand on you at all times (two on your waist when you're chopping the onion, he just wouldn't know what to do with himself if you got hurt making him dinner. so he has to hold you steady, he has to run his hands over your hips keep you stabilized-- don't think too much into it, just stay focused on chopping bonnie)
and soap knows that he can talk for hours, but he can't help it when your eyes light up when he mentions his childhood in scotland and his missions around the world. and your small flinch and frown when he talks about getting hurt. their lass just can't help but worry about them. he just can't stay away from his captains sweet bird-- not when you send him off with a steaming pile of leftovers and a tight hug (pressed against him as hard as you can because you don’t want him to go)
johnny, a man to brag, never shuts up about how it took kyle three months to get a room but it only took him two. (sometimes when he comes back from the bathroom in the morning he can see into your room as you're getting ready. and he doesn't mean to do it but your panties are his favorite shade of blue and they look so amazing on you-- he wants to see them up close so bad.)
and so he tells ghost of all his troubles- unasked and randomly the next time they got sent out. and does ghost really care about johnny's playground crush on their captains bird? yes. how had he been left the only one not getting home cooked meals after being sent out? is he going to say anything about it?
not a chance.
so it takes a little while before the final place at your dinner table to be filled. but after a particularly grueling mission (and already wishing to come over), ghost is finally convinced he belongs with the rest of his team.
and you've never been happier to make extra food; you've been hearing for months about the illusive fourth man of your husband's battalion but having him stand in your kitchen with a cute little store bought dessert was certainly worth the wait. ( 'Ah didnae ken ye liked pink that much, lt' 'it was all they 'ad, can't show up empty 'anded, johnny')
and is he a little awkward and standoffish, of course-- years of military pressure will do that to a man!
and simon is just too sweet, even if he doesn't know it. he's pulling your chair out for you, and running out in the rain to collect the mail that you'd forgotten all about. he even lets you drag him to the grocery store during your weekly trips. (it's not dragging, he'd follow you into the pits of hell if you'd asked him too so the grocery store is really not a big deal.)
everything is just so perfect when all of your the boys are all in the house together!
and suddenly everything in life makes sense again. that plate that you can never reach on the highest shelf in the kitchen, a body is pressed against you as simon leans over you to grab it leaving you with a squeeze to your hip and red face. the gossip that your husband just never understood in the way he should is studently being told to kyle over coffee every morning as your other boys roll out of bed. the soap opera that you rope johnny into watching every thursday night becomes facemasks and wine time.
and john just loves it. he just loves you so much; loves the way you smile at kyles flirting, loves how you cuddle up to johnny on the couch, loves how you let simon hold you so close when you make his tea in the morning, and he just loves teasing you about it. (teasing? yes. making you face the fact that you want your husbands men to run a train on you like a whore. also yes.)
i wanna keep going but i have to let it end at some point
#call of duty#cod#i am so mentally unwell about them like i need it so bad#i would literally be a housewife for them#plz let me find four military men that will dote on me and take me around and fuck me until i cant walk ever again#cod x reader#cod x you#john price#john price x reader#cod smut#soap x reader#john soap mactavish#john mactavish x reader#simon riley#simon riley x reader#ghost x reader#ghost#kyle gaz garrick#kyle garrick#kyle garrick x reader#gaz x reader

YOU GIVE JASON TODD A SCARE

(inspired by this post).
— PAIRING: Jason Todd x F!Reader
— SUMMARY: You're running behind schedule, which means Jason's pushing through the traffic and rain to get to you.
cw: none wc: 1.2K
YOU SHOULD HAVE been home three hours ago.
Jason’s hands tighten around the handlebars of his motorcycle. The leather fabric of his gloves crease, slick with rain and pinching around his fingers. It’s not often that you hang back for so long afterhours, though Jason is well aware that you offer your help without second thought, often forgetting about everything else in favour of assisting where you can.
But it’s been three hours since your usual closing time, and you haven’t sent him a text yet. You always send him a text.
Clenching his jaw, Jason wipes his arm across his face harshly, brushing away the rain that lingers on his lashes. It’s not the vibrations of the engine beneath him that’s sending his thighs subtly shaking—no, it’s the adrenaline slowly inching into his system, the panic he can feel twisting inside his chest.
What if you’re alone in the pouring rain? Soaked to the bone?
The traffic light blinks green, and Jason squints through the sheets of rain while kicking back the stand. The line of cars jolt forward, brake lights dimming as tires roll across rain-soaked asphalt.
Exhaling sharply, Jason’s eyes constantly search around him, feeling as if he’s some sort of cop looking for the slightest infraction. None of Gotham’s cops do that here, but it’s what he’s seen in the few movies you’ve made him watch.
“C’mon, sweetheart,” Jason murmurs beneath his breath, body leant forward as rain pricks against his skin, tapping violently against his leather jacket.
“Where? Tell me where…”
The traffic lights ahead glow a bright red, blurred by the onslaught of water, and Jason holds down several curses and a groan. He can feel the dread in his stomach, wrapping around his intestines as he slowly comes to a stop behind a white KIA.
He needs to reach your workplace—he has to see if you’re still there, and that, maybe, your phone is just dead. It must be, because he tried to track down the location of your mobile, but nothing had come up. No blinking blue dot on his screen revealed your location to him, and nothing on Earth would get him to ask Oracle to step in. He has this under control. He’s not going to panic. Not yet.
As cars rumble around him and the bike’s engine rattles beneath him, Jason silently berates himself for not having some sort of conversation about things like this with you. He should have given you instructions on what to do if your phone dies, or if you can’t get home for some reason—he could have prevented all of this if he had just given you the right steps to take. And what if you’re in more danger than he thinks? Wouldn’t it be his fault if you weren’t prepared at all or trained to some small degree in order to defend yourself? If anything bad has happened to you, that would fall on him. Without a doubt.
A horn blares behind Jason, echoing painfully in his ears. The lights have flashed green, the neon colour reflecting off the cars as they lumber forward again. He would have sent the guy a rude gesture over his shoulder, but you’re running through his head—bright eyes made gentle when they lock with his, and your words quiet and low like always. He’s sure that you speak quietly for him personally, like it’s your mission in life to never speak abruptly around him, and he’s never been able to explain to you why that matters to him.
But you’ve never needed him to explain anything. You’re too intuitive for your own good. Too understanding. Too good.
“Jason!”
His heart stops. Beats once. Skips a beat. Beats erratically again. That couldn’t have been…was that…you?
Swivelling his head around frantically, Jason pays no mind to the driver behind him angrily blaring his horn, the sound filling up the street. He knows he just heard you, however faint it was over the rain.
“(Name)! Baby!” Jason calls out, voice thick with worry.
“Jason!”
Yes, that’s you—that’s you.
And you’re flailing your arms above your head, jumping up and down on the side of the curb. With his pulse drumming inside his ears, Jason barely gives it a second thought as he floors it, weaving through the moving cars and crossing lanes to reach you.
People surrounding you glance at him wearily as the engine roars, but you don’t pay them any mind as Jason screeches to a halt directly in front of you.
You barely blink and Jason’s kicking the stand and hopping off his bike. For a moment, you think he’s angry as he strides up to you, with his brows pinched together and his jaw clenched.
Your mouth opens pitifully as you prepare to stumble out your rehearsed apology, but your words die on your tongue as strong hands wrap around your biceps, and Jason grapples you to him. A huff of air escapes you as you’re shoved against his chest, but the shock instantly melts away, and you grab fistfuls of his jacket in your hands.
“I’m so sorry,” you say into his shoulder. Guilt gnaws at your stomach, and you let him tighten his grip around you, even if it feels like your ribcage might snap.
“My phone died.” Your voice shakes, and you squeeze your eyes shut as rain taps against your scalp. “And Meggie wanted me to help her with something after closing, and then her ride ditched her so we were trying to figure out an uber for her cause the taxis are terrible and—”
“Stop talking.”
You inhale sharply. “Okay.”
The silence feels tense, and the rain pricks into your skin like needles, sharp and relentless. But it’s nothing compared to the turmoil you feel on the inside, the guilt that’s threatening to send you into tears—but you can’t cry. No, this isn’t about how you feel, this is about Jason.
“Sweetheart,” Jason murmurs against your scalp, and you catch the tremor in his voice.
“Yeah?”
“I—baby, don’t do that again.” Jason pulls away, and he brings his large hands to cradle your face. You’re reminiscent of a wet alley cat, your hair sticking to your skin and your coat hanging from your frame, heavy with water. But he’s never seen you look as remorseful as you do right now. Any anger or frustration lingering in the back of his mind vanishes within an instant, as if it weren’t even there to begin with.
Purple and pink light from the overhead billboards reflect off your face, haloing your hair. You look beautiful, but more importantly, you’re okay. You’re safe, and he’s holding you in his arms. Despite the rain, despite the chill that clings to the air, your skin is still warm with life.
And that’s more than enough for Jason.
Shaking his head, he brings a hand to gently push against the back of your head and press you closer to him again. He presses a firm kiss to your temple, as if to hammer into your skin the relief surging through him.
Bystanders glance your way, eyeing what simply looks like two people embracing each other with an overwhelming amount of emotion. Feeling the panic in his chest slowly start to ebb away, Jason lets his lips fall to your cheek where he presses featherlight kisses.
You hum softly, fingers tightening around the creases in his jacket.
“I love you, Jay,” you say quietly, because you know he needs to hear it.
Jason’s heart rampages against his ribcage.
“Let’s go home, sweetheart.”
Thank you for reading, God bless <3

Feeling in a mood today. Would you consider some angst with Bucky? You can ignore!
I feel like angst isn't my forte, nonnie, but I'll try?
Stood Up
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Female Reader
Summary: Bucky asks you out on a date and doesn't show.
Word Count: Almost 1.2k
Warnings: Angst, sadness, insecurities, embarrassment
A/N: This may get a Part 2. ❤️ Not beta read and written on my phone, so any and all mistakes are my own. Please follow @navybrat817-sideblog for new fics and notifications. Comments, reblogs, feedback are loved and appreciated!

You chose a simple black dress for your first date with Bucky. It wasn't too dressy or over the top, but still nice enough that you hoped it caught his attention. If the sight of you could put a soft smile on his face and warmth in his stunning blue eyes you'd consider it a win. Maybe he'd even tell you how beautiful you looked.
But your date was supposed to start almost an hour ago, and he still hadn't arrived.
You perked up when you looked toward the door, only to feel disappointed yet again when it wasn't Bucky who walked in. Checking your phone, you scrolled back through the messages. You had texted him earlier in the week to be on the safe side and he confirmed all of the needed date information; date, time, restaurant. You arrived at the right place at the right time on the right date. It was all you looked forward to this week.
You thought Bucky was looking forward to it as well since his last message was, “Can't wait to see you, doll.”
The sergeant looked almost nervous when he asked you to grab dinner with him. You were pretty sure he ran a hand through his hair three times before he got the question out. But the way his eyes lit up when you said yes, it was a look you’d never forget.
“It’s a date,” he had smiled, your heart fluttering. “Maybe we can go dancing after? Or we can dance in one of our apartments? Or we can play it by ear.”
“I’ll wear my best dancing shoes.”
You were trying to stay optimistic that he would show, but the knots in your stomach tightened when you realized he still hadn't replied to your follow up messages since you got to the restaurant. Did he have to take a last minute mission and couldn't let you know? Was he just running late? Or did he simply change his mind about the date?
“Where are you, Bucky?” you whispered, praying he wasn't hurt or worse.
The server cautiously approached your table once you set your phone down. “Is there anything I can get for you?” she asked.
“Oh, I’m fine,” you forcefully smiled, gesturing to the untouched glass of wine in front of you. “I’m still… waiting,” you added, your voice cracking on the last word.
A look of pity crossed the server’s face. Maybe you were imagining it, but you felt other eyes on you, too. You didn't want their sympathy or anything else for that matter. “Please let me know if you need anything.”
You managed a nod and nothing more, your eyes burning as you blankly stared at the menu. It didn't make sense. Bucky wasn't the kind of man to stand someone up. He wouldn't leave you in the middle of a restaurant by yourself without a good reason. Right?
Your hands shook when it went past the hour mark and you typed one more message to Bucky. “I’m still at the restaurant and worried since you aren't here. I hope you're okay.”
It took another fifteen minutes for it to finally sink in that Bucky wasn't coming. As much as you didn't want it to, it hurt. So much. Luck wasn't on your side when it came to relationships, but you thought this would be different because, well, Bucky was different. You should've known better though. You should've known him asking you on a date was too good to be true.
The server made eye contact with you across the room and quickly made her way over when you took out your wallet. “Oh, that glass is on the house. Unless there's anything else I can get for you?”
“Oh. Um. Thanks.” The gesture brought tears to your eyes, and you wished you could bury yourself in the ground then and there. “I don't need anything else, but I still owe you a tip for taking up the table for over an hour,” you said, leaving some cash on the table and giving her one last smile as you stood up on shaky legs. “Have a good night.”
“Ouch. Stood up. Been there before.”
“Oh, shit. I think she’s crying.”
“Poor thing. She was sitting down before we got here.”
The whispers from the patrons were practically screams in your ears as you left, and you had to steady yourself once you got outside. The cool air did nothing to soothe you, and wiping your cheeks didn't stop the tears from falling. Humiliation aside, your heart ached. Putting yourself out there wasn't easy, but this sort of rejection hurt more than a firm “no”.
Worry seeped in because you didn't want to believe Bucky would do this on purpose. What went wrong? Why didn't he show up? There had to be a reasonable explanation.
You dialed his number, your heart stopping when his voicemail popped up after a few seconds. “Hey, this is Bucky. Leave me a message.”
You cleared your throat to speak. “Hey. It’s me. I waited for you… at the restaurant, but I guess… I guess you just couldn't make it, so I'm heading home.” You paused to sniffle and prayed he wouldn't catch it if he listened. “Can you just… let me know you're okay? Please, Bucky?” you asked, hanging up before you could say more.
The little optimism you had left faded completely when you checked your messages one last time. The messages had gone from delivered to read. He got them and didn't respond. Not one single word. He just… ignored you.
Maybe everything was fine with him after all and he realized you weren't good enough to go on a date with.
Choking on a small sob, you tucked your phone away. You didn't bother with a cab. The walk could help clear your head. You didn't care if the distance would ruin your shoes. It wasn't like you had anyone to dance with tonight or any other night.
“I’ll be fine,” you whispered to yourself, curling in on yourself as you walked. It hurt, but you’d be fine. You'd suck it up, put a smile on your face, and convince everyone that all was well because that was the way it had to be.
But how would you face Bucky come Monday? You still cared about him, but how would you be able to look him in the eye and hide the hurt you felt from being left all alone in that restaurant? How would you move forward together if he didn't want you?
No, not together. There was no togetherness at the moment since Bucky stood you up. He clearly didn't want you. Maybe he never did and he only asked you out as a fluke or some obligation so people would stop trying to set him up.
You wiped at your cheeks again. The unknown was going to keep your mind racing until he told you why he didn't show. He owed you some sort of explanation.
But tonight, you'd walk home alone with a heavy heart and hoped that whatever Bucky was doing that he was okay.
I need a happy ending for them immediately. Love and thanks for reading! ❤️

pretty tattoos -> ln4

wc: 1.2k tags: piercer!lando, cockwarming, unprotected sex, piv, part one | part two | part three
Lando’s shop was empty and quiet. Probably because it was already after working hours when you arrived, like the two of you had agreed.
After the last piercing you had gotten, Lando had indeed taken you out to dinner. And after that, the two of you were inseparable. And you couldn’t be happier.
It was after a night out that you mentioned wanting a tattoo. Immediately there was a sparkle in Lando’s eyes as he began gushing over how he hoped you would mention it because he was itching to ink your body.
After he dropped you home, laying a gentle sweet kiss to your lips before walking away, Lando had texted you the date and time of your tattoo appointment. Only if you wanted it, of course. And boy, did you want it.
Lando’s shop was a familiar place by now. Both from your own experiences and from the little visits you made just to see him. So you didn’t hesitate to get yourself comfortable as Lando prepared everything, the stencil already pressed against your skin.
Getting a sternum tattoo as your first tattoo was certainly a bold choice, you wouldn’t deny that. The room was slightly chilly, causing your exposed nipples to perk up, goosebumps raising along the skin of your arms.
“You changing your mind?” Lando asked, noticing you had gone quiet. His voice was teasing, but you knew that if you really did change your mind he would drop everything without a word.
“No,” you shook your head. “Just a bit nervous. I heard the sternum is a painful place to get a tattoo.”
“It is,” Lando agreed, smiling at you. “Don’t worry tho, I’ll keep you distracted.” he said with a wink, bringing a smile to your face.
“Oh, you’ll keep me distracted!” You teased, prompting him to laugh.
Lando finished setting the necessary material up and sat down in the chair. You looked at him, tilting your head to the side. “Isn’t that my spot?”
“Nope,” he told you, shaking his head. “Your spot is right here.” He patted his lap, his lips curled upwards in a smirk.
“How could I forget,” you smiled, walking towards him slowly. You ran your hands down his body, palms pressing against his chest before dipping lower, toying with the zipper of his pants.
You opened his pants and Lando wasted no time lifting his hips to help you slide them down his legs, the outline of his already hard cock visible in the grey material of his boxers. A wet patch was already forming on the material from where his leaky tip was positioned.
Lando took the boxers off quickly, pushing them to join his jeans. His hands grabbed your ass and he pulled your body closer, your bare legs pressing against his.
You giggled, wrapping your hand around his dick. It wasn’t your first time seeing him naked but everytime was as good as the previous. Your eyes zeroed in on his piercing, going through the tip of his cock, the metal balls shining under the led lights of the studio.
Spit dribbled down from your mouth onto his cock and you used it as lube to stroke him a few times before lifting up your skirt and climbing into his lap. The lack of pantied underneath the skirt made it all the easier to position his dick at your entrance and sink down on him, taking him fully.
“Fuck,” Lando groaned, his hands gripping your hips, both of you moaning at the sensation. His piercing pressed against your walls, adding to the stimulation. Lando’s hand caressed your back, making you arch your chest forward him.
“You ready?” He asked gently, one of his hands groping your tits, his fingers playing with your nipples and twisting your piercings.
“Yeah, I’m ready.” You replied, nodding your head at him. “You sure you can tattoo in this position?”
“Oh please,” Lando scoffed playfully. “Of course I can. Now hold on, this is gonna hurt a little.”
Lando lifted up the tattoo gun and started his work, tracking the stencil on your skin. You gasped a little at the pain, feeling your chest tighten as he worked, involuntarily clenching around him which had his breathing going shallow.
Thankfully it was a small tattoo, which meant it didn’t take much time for Lando to finish it. The whole time he kept teasing you playfully, talking about random things and cracking terrible jokes in effort to distract you from the pain, which really did work. But so did the feeling of his pulsing length buried deep inside of you.
You finally felt like you could breathe again properly when Lando finished the tattoo, putting away the machine and cleaning it up. One of his hands cupped your flushed face, his eyes meeting yours. “Looks pretty great if I do say so myself,” he told you, his eyes flicking down to the tattoo. “Now how about a reward for my best client?”
“Please,” you gasped out, your walls clenching around his dick. Lando groaned, wrapping his arms around you and standing up then pushing you onto the leather chair all while still remaining inside of you.
“Did so well,” he told you before pressing his lips down against yours in a sloppy kiss. “Took it so well, didn’t you? Now you’re gonna take my cock, yeah?”
His thrusts started slow, making you feel every inch of his hard cock, the piercing dragging against your walls, making your head spin with pleasure. One of his hands sneaked between your bodies, his fingers finding your clit fast and rubbing circles around it before he flicked your piercing, making you moan out.
The rhythm of his hips grew frantic, becoming more desperate with each thrust. After cockwarming him for what felt like hours it didn’t really take long for either of you to reach your orgasm.
“God, Lando!” You moaned, nails digging into his back as your orgasm crashed over you, triggering his own.
You both stayed still for a moment, catching your breath, then Lando pulled out slowly and used one of the previously prepared tissues to clean you up, all the while rambling about the tattoo healing process. You really couldn’t deny that he was adorable.
The two of you put your clothes back on and you waited for Lando to finish closing up the shop before you left together. “So, wanna come over to my apartment?” You asked, taking his hand in yours. “I got some great leftovers. And they’re not expired.”
He laughed, lacing his fingers with yours. “You truly know a way to my heart!”
Lando Norris had pierced his way into your life and permanently inked his place in it. And you wouldn’t have it any other way.

i can write so much more about why i think severance S2 isn't as strong or enjoyable as S1, but i could truly go on forever so i've organized my thoughts into three categories: lack of inter/departmental connection, dropped storylines, and how the world feels much smaller (1.2k words under the cut)
lack of inter/departmental connection
a significant theme of the S2 finale is the solidarity between different severed departments. MDR, mammalians nurturable, and the marching band department become impromptu allies against lumon management. innie mark is hesitant to save gemma not just because he might cease to exist, but so might the entire severed department. so why wasn't this a theme throughout the whole season?
episode 3 was building up to this: mark and "helly" made contact with mammalians nurturable, and irving visited O&D to share a nice moment with felicia. but that interdepartmental connection is completely dropped until the the finale, seven episodes later.
innie mark's concern for all severed workers rings a bit hollow when he doesn't seem to care about the three innies he got terminated in episode 1, and hasn't thought about irving at all. (i know ignoring grief is mark's whole thing, but he's known irving his whole life! there's not even a single moment of him acknowledging irving after his firing.) like, okay, mark said innie rights! does he really demonstrate that throughout the season, though?
EDIT: oh my god, miss casey—innie mark willingly killed miss casey. if he was truly so concerned about every innie, shouldn't he have been conflicted about leading her to her death? the person he said "we're people, not parts of people" to? the person he said "no one gets to just turn you off" to? (mark! you just turned her off!)
what stands out more is the lack of connection within MDR itself: once irving's gone, MDR just doesn't seem to care about each other. their tight-knit friendship and "we're in this together" dynamic is supplanted by romance. sure, mark and helly love each other now—why does that have to come at the cost of their friendship with dylan? do they just not care that he's been disappearing for half the work day? in the S2 finale, it's a great character moment for dylan when he comes to the rescue, but would helly and mark do the same for him? they didn't seem to notice or care that he was gone for mark's completion of cold harbor.
dropped storylines and dramatic twists that lead nowhere
(i know how television works, i know that plotlines that begin in one season can get resolved in another. okay. now that's out of the way)
remember how bold of a decision it was to have mark reintegrate in episode 3? the building of tension, reghabi asking an increasingly confused mark basic questions ("what season is it?" "you mean, what quarter?"), mark waking up on the severed floor table, and the triumphant soundtrack that follows? none of that seems to matter now: reghabi is out of the picture and mark doesn't get reintegration sickness or hallucinations anymore. reghabi kept warning mark to not move his head—then he fell to the ground and slammed his head, and was beaten in the head by drummond. is his brain okay? did the reintegration process even happen? did i dream this plotline? where am i?
what did the undercover helena plot accomplish? okay, so it was crazy when irving revealed that helena was impersonating helly. what exactly were the consequences of this? besides irving getting fired, there were barely any ripple effects for this seemingly momentous betrayal—mark was uncomfortable for two episodes, and helly was upset for, like, ten minutes tops. it's a fun plot twist for sure, but it doesn't seem to truly affect the character it should matter most to, and helly isn't given the time to wrestle with the fact that she's an eagan (royalty! a god!) and found out mere hours ago. we get to know helena a bit, i guess, but she was already compelling when she was just a face on a TV screen, telling helly that she wasn't a person.
speaking of irving's firing, this was the perfect setup for learning more about his outie, but we learn nothing. we have the same questions as we did in S1: who's he working with? what's his motivation to infiltrate lumon? why does he know about the elevator to the testing floor? irving is just as much of a mystery as he was in S1—and now we don't know if we'll ever see him again and get answers to those crucial character questions.
milchick has undoubtedly the best character arc this season. in episode 9 he finally snaps at upper management and can barely process what it means when outie mark tells him, "work's just work". i don't think milchick would turn his back on lumon entirely, that wouldn't be realistic, but all his character moments throughout the season seemed to be culminating to him realizing that, yeah, work is just work, it's not that serious. it makes sense that he would try his hardest to escape the bathroom, then get greeted by an innie uprising—but that would have also happened to a S1 milchick. after the kier animatronic microaggressions and all the shit he has to do to prepare for cold harbor's completion, would he really try to escape the bathroom that hard? or would he be having a midlife crisis, staring himself down in a mirror? i'm genuinely not sure.
i know i'm in the minority here but i loved ricken in S1—he and his strange followers bring an earnestness and sense of humor that made the show feel unique in how it juggled wildly different tones. ricken was also crucial to the innie story, and helped innie mark realize his potential as a human being. but besides appearing in a single flashback during the gemma episode, ricken's been completely absent since episode 3. what happened to his lumon sellout arc? what does he think his wife, who he has a newborn baby with, is doing? did he die in a private yacht explosion?
we still don't know what cold harbor is, right? we know that each file MDR completes is another room for gemma, but what's cold harbor specifically, and why would it kill her? she starts to disassemble a crib without feeling negative emotions—how is that any different from any other innie? is the point to sever away specific trauma? is that really it? and again, why would that kill her?
the world feels much smaller
the world outside of lumon is absent in S2. S1 had ricken and his weird friends, mark going on dates, back alley concerts, anti-severance protests, snippets of the news—there was life outside of lumon! S2 leaves that all behind to tighten focus on lumon and the people directly involved in the company, which makes the story very insular.
characters are so vitally important now: helly is an eagan, mark is the only one who can finish cold harbor and cold harbor is The Most Important Thing In The World We Have To Complete It Now, everything MDR does is because of gemma, and cobel invented severance. everyone else feels supplemental—people like irving and ricken can be easily discarded. the science fiction aspects, which were bizarre and unknowable in S1, are now directly personal to everyone. it's like milchick lying about the tallest waterfall in the world: it just makes everything seem smaller.
this also muddies S1's central themes and satire of the corporate world. mark isn't just another cog in the machine anymore, he's the most important guy (they fired and rehired a bunch of people, just for him!). the work isn't mysterious anymore, we know exactly what they're doing. mark being an ordinary guy who goes to an office job he doesn't really understand was the point of the corporate satire. severance just isn't interested in that anymore, which i guess is understandable; the show can grow into something different. but using a sci-fi concept to comment on office culture and the different personas we inhabit for work was so clever and special, and now they're just exploring well-trodden ground like identity and what it means to be human. sci-fi has already done that one, guys! many times!
again, i can say a lot more but i think this sums up my main thoughts. and i generally liked each episode individually, but when i look at the season as a whole it just doesn't cohere nearly as well as S1 did.

SWEETNESS OF THE DAMNED
a/n: this was a quick drabble at first, but somehow turned into an allegory for persophone and hades. which isn’t surprising for me given that i’m already plotting october fics. logan isn’t a monster in this, nor is he a vampire even though the vibe and title may give that off. i just really love gothic vibes in everything i write so who better to give it to than old man logan.
summary: when night falls and wine overflows in glasses of crystal, logan finds his home in between your thighs.
word count: 1.2k+
pairing: old man!logan howlett x f!reader
warnings: EXPLICIT SO MINORS DNI, p in v sex, alcohol consumption, allegories for persephone and hades, biting, scratching even though he heals, cumplay, overstimulation, squirting, dirty talk, older logan is so filthy i’m blushing.
The acrid embers of the fire burned your nose the deeper your breaths became. Red wine remained chocolatey and bitter on your tongue; the dinner you tried to eat quickly was now forgotten in favor of something else. You thought you could smell the cigar he smoked on the porch an hour ago on his bare skin. You couldn't.
Not when his fingers dug into your hips, lips pressed against the shell of your ear. He grunted with each slap of skin. The wet slick of how he pounded into you echoed loud and bright in the cabin.
You would have been embarrassed if it weren't for the sounds he let out. The way his eyes fell shut the closer you got to that fiery peak.
"C'mon baby," he sighed, ragged and needy. "I can feel ya."
Wine had gone to your head the second he poured you a third glass. Your red dress of crushed velvet lay in a heap on the floor. A pair of his jeans and a shirt beside it. The soft fabric of his flannel was smooth beneath your knees where he dropped it. Careful to keep your skin from going raw as he took you before dinner could even finish.
The alcohol is what brought this night to an early conclusion.
You already knew it would happen. Hoped for it on long days with hours that stretched for miles. Ached for his presence when you curled up in bed—the scent of his body still stuck on the cotton sheets. Logan promised to give you everything with a soft kiss at the door, his fingers gripping your chin to hold you there a minute longer. To slip his tongue past your maroon painted lips and lick along your teeth.
"'S too much," you garbled.
He laughed as you clenched around his leaking cock—tearing a deep moan from his chest. The heat of his body burned its way into yours where the fireplace couldn't reach. Each muscle and ridge along his stomach pressed into your back—his hips strong enough to break you slowed into punishing thrusts that bounced you on his thighs.
Time didn't exist; seasons began to blend into one.
The both of you resided where spring met summer and the shadow of night met fall's full moon. You wore a crown of wilted flowers—red spilling over your hands from where he asked you to bite into his skin. This was your damned hour. Your time of need.
You were the other half of an already broken soul, and he found that in your absence he couldn't hold it together for quite as long.
"You feel that?" His hand cupped your cunt—fingers spread around where he ended and you began. "She's leakin' for me baby."
"L-Logan," you gasped your throat thick with too many emotions.
The slow grind of his hips into yours sent your body hurtling towards yet another release. Your stomach was sticky where his other hand pressed - already coated in the three before. Holding onto the fraying pieces of your mind proved to be difficult when his teeth latched onto your shoulder. His fingers drew a shape around the edge of your throbbing clit.
His initials.
"You want another one don't ya honey?"
Yes. No. Please never fucking stop.
Instead all you could get out was a whine of his name. Your back arched into his hold, head pressed hard against his chest, as you fought to keep up with him. To grind against his lap and feel the drag of his cock along your walls.
"Yeah. You do," he murmured against your ear. "She wants to be good for me."
Down in the base of your stomach you felt the familiar pull of bliss begin to draw tight. You knew what came next. The rush of mind numbing pleasure trickled into your veins. Slowly drawing you higher with each stunted thrust—each echo of his fingers toying with your stretched cunt. You could count the seconds until it finally burst.
"I'm gonna–" The breath caught in your throat, hands clasping around his wrists as something shifted. "F-Fuck. Logan I'm–"
"Fuck yeah ya are," he grunted into your neck. "Gonna lick you clean after this. Get my fuckin' dessert."
His cock pounded deep against your walls, fingers pulling up the hood of your clit to circle rapidly against nerves that were already shot. And you sobbed his name. Your nails drew red angry marks on his arms that healed moments later; your body too fucking rigid and too hot to process what the fuck he was doing.
Elysium and the River Styx were ripping you apart. As if you were being pulled in two very different directions.
A clatter echoed beside you when he reached for your glass of wine, still stained with the now faded red of your lipstick. You felt his thigh shake—his cock twitching in the heat of your body. You wondered if this is what it felt like to burn alive. The sweet aching bliss of being held by your lover as he drowned you in the fire. Would this be how he took you to the Underworld?
The cold wash of wine spilled along your body as he poured out the remainder of the glass. His tongue quickly dragged across your blistering skin—drinking the cabernet off your body with a raspy groan of your name.
"'M almost there." He gripped the back of your neck and yanked you back with a kiss. His tongue plunging into your mouth—sharing the wine as his fingers pressed hard and fast against your swollen bud. "Give it to me huh? Fuckin' cum on my cock."
Your release ripped through your body with a scream. The echo of his name came back to you eventually, yet you couldn't figure out if you were the one saying it. With your nails piercing his skin, he felt you gush, choking his cock and milking him dry. A splatter of something wet landed on his thighs as he wrapped an arm around your waist to keep you still.
To bury himself as deep as he could go and finish with a blissful ragged groan against your shoulder. Wave after wave of ecstasy washed over your spent body and you felt him fill you until it began to leak out. Coating the inside of your thighs.
"Are you breathing?" he chuckled, lips sliding along your neck to find your mouth.
You answered with a whimper. Which proved enough for him.
The stickiness of the wine began to dry against your bare body while his fingers dragged through the mixture of your cum that stuck to your thigh. He sighed—content and warm—as he lowered himself to the floor. His back pressed against your clothes and softening cock still buried in your dripping cunt.
"Speak to me bub." His fingers tapped your cheek, nose nudging against your jaw. "I can't have killed ya."
"You almost did," you mumbled, barely able to open your eyes.
Exhaustion sunk right down to your bones the longer you lay there wrapped in his arms. You knew the both of you should shower. Clean up and actually eat something in its entirety this time around. Logan would say the same if it weren't for the comforting press of your weight against his body. He cupped your breasts, thumbs toying with your peaked nipples, and kissed you with a sigh.
The both of you should say something to get the other moving. Yet neither of you did.
Instead you were met with silence and the crackle of the fire. Time, now a nonexistent variable to a night spent in each other's arms.

જ⁀♡⊹。° just put your sweet lips on my lips
( isagi yoichi x fem! reader )

♡ a/n — the first part in my newest series: the garden of you! (masterlist)
♡ word count — 1.2k
♡ content — isagi yoichi x fem! reader, slursagi mentioned, isagi is HEAD OVER HEELS for reader, just freaking puppy love, fluff, invasive paparazzi, established relationship ( 5 years ), reader & isagi are 25ish, not proofread!!
♡ synopsis — In the world’s eyes, Yoichi Isagi is unstoppable — the best striker alive, a two-time World Cup champion, and infamous for the brutal insults he dishes out on the field. But when the stadium lights go out, he comes home to you — still shy, still boyish, still head-over-heels. Under city lights, on the bench where it all began, he realizes that no trophy will ever compare to the way you say his name.
── .❀ we should just kiss like real people do
The world knows Yoichi Isagi in superlatives.
The best striker to ever play the game.
The man who’s rewritten soccer history—twice.
The player who turned “egoist” into a philosophy.
The boy from Japan who stunned the world and never stopped.
They know his goals. His mind. His ruthless hunger.
They know the way he screams across the pitch — brilliant, brutal, and unfiltered — flinging words that make highlight reels just as much as his goals do.
“You’re lucky I don’t play defense or you’d be in the fucking ground.*”
“Hope you brought a second pair of cleats, ‘cause I’m dragging you for the rest of this match.”
“I’m the best in the world, and you’re barely even a footnote.”
Iconic. Viral. Merciless.
But the Yoichi Isagi that walks through the front door at 9:42 p.m. on a Tuesday night?
He drops his bag by the door and calls out a little breathless, “I brought you the melon pan you like—!” before even taking off his shoes.
You’re still on the couch, wrapped up in a blanket, legs tucked beneath you, and as soon as you turn and smile at him—
He just… melts.
“Hi, baby,” you say.
And he stares. All pink ears and wide eyes and messy hair. He’s still in his training hoodie, still smells like grass and heat, but he looks at you like you’ve just told him he won the World Cup again.
“You’re so pretty,” he mumbles without thinking, and you giggle as you take the bag from his hand.
“You’re the one who’s glowing.”
“I’m sweaty,” he says bashfully.
“You’re glowing,” you insist, grinning up at him. “Like a boy in love.”
He groans and hides his face in your shoulder, mumbling something about you being unfair. You wrap your arms around his waist, and he clings back like it’s been days, not hours.
He does this every time — like he’s scared he’ll blink and wake up to find it was all a dream.
You’ve lived together for three years now.
You’ve been his for five.
But Yoichi Isagi still gets shy when you compliment him.
Still flushes when you kiss his cheek.
Still stares at you when he thinks you aren’t looking.
When you’re out together, he gets stopped often — for autographs, photos, interviews. His fame doesn’t just follow him. It hunts him.
So when he books a quiet little dinner date at a tiny ramen shop tucked away from the city center, he hopes for some peace. Hopes for a normal night.
Hopes, selfishly, that maybe people can forget he’s Isagi Yoichi, world champion, and let him be just Yoichi, your boyfriend for a night.
But he’s not surprised when the flashes start.
You catch on quickly. He doesn’t say anything, just shifts closer to block you from view, arm resting behind you on the booth’s backrest.
“I guess someone tipped them off,” you sigh, picking at your noodles.
He shrugs like it doesn’t bother him. But it does. It always does — when people take your time like they’re owed it, when they ruin these quiet little moments he lives for.
So he looks over your shoulder. Locks eyes with the nearest camera.
And flips them off with a casual middle finger, expression still soft as he returns to you.
“Yoichi,” you gasp, hiding your laugh behind your hand.
“They’re not invited,” he says easily. “I have plans. With you.”
You lean over the table to kiss his cheek.
He blushes so hard he forgets how to use chopsticks for a full thirty seconds.
It’s only after dinner, as you’re walking hand-in-hand through the quieter parts of the city, that something shifts. He’s quieter now. Focused. Like there’s something heavier beneath the surface of his usual shy smiles.
The street is familiar. A little run-down, flickering lights here and there. You round the corner and see it before he says a word.
The bench.
Old wood, faded green paint. Under the lamp post where you met.
Where he sat beside you that night after training five years ago, heart still racing from the match, vending machine broken, unsure of how to start a conversation with someone like you.
You remember offering him a drink.
He remembers the first time you smiled at him.
And now, all this time later, he’s pulling something from his pocket.
Velvet box. Shaky hands.
And then he’s on one knee.
Your heart stutters. Your breath catches. His voice shakes.
“From the moment you said hello to me, I’ve been yours. Hook, line, and sinker.”
He laughs through a tear that rolls down his cheek.
“You are every part of me. You consume my every waking thought. I love coming home to you. I love seeing you in my jersey. I love every part of being with you—and I want to do it forever.”
His voice drops. Barely above a whisper.
“Please. Will you marry me?”
You don’t remember saying yes out loud.
But you’re nodding. Crying.
Reaching for him with both hands, and then he’s standing, arms tight around you like you’re the only safe place in the world.
And he sobs.
Not the kind of tears that fall on the field, surrounded by roaring fans.
But quiet, breathless ones. Overwhelmed. Grateful. Real.
Yoichi Isagi.
The world’s greatest striker.
A living legend.
A foul-mouthed genius with two World Cups and a target on his back.
And in your arms, just a boy in love.
Hopelessly, deeply, forever yours.
Later that night — or technically, early morning — the world finds out.
Isagi posts just one photo to his account:
A candid shot of you in his arms, standing at the very spot where he asked you to marry him.
You’re laughing, hand outstretched, showing off the ring.
He’s holding you like you’re the most precious thing he’s ever touched.
No caption. Just a daisy emoji.
And within minutes, the internet erupts.
By the time sunlight filters through your bedroom curtains, he’s already lying wide awake, phone in hand, blinking at the dozens of articles piling in.
Isagi Yoichi: Giving Up Soccer for Love?
Engaged! The Striker Who Won the World’s Heart Gives His Away.
A Ring, True Love, Another World Cup?
He sighs and turns off the screen. Drops his phone onto the nightstand and lets his head fall back against the pillow.
Because in this moment, he couldn’t care less what the world thinks.
Not when you’re draped over him like this — half-on, half-off, mouth slightly open and drooling against his chest. One of your legs tangled between his, one hand resting right over his heart. Right where the ring he spent months agonizing over gleams up at him in the warm morning light.
He tightens his arm around your waist. Brings his other hand up to brush through your hair, so gentle, like he’s afraid to wake you. But you shift anyway.
“Mmhm… good morning, baby,” you mumble, voice raspy with sleep.
And he’s gone. Just like that.
Heart wrecked. Soul floored.
Totally, irreversibly, eternally yours.
A soft little laugh catches in his throat.
Eyes watering all over again.
God, you don’t even know what you do to him.
“Good morning,” he whispers. And presses a kiss to your forehead like a vow. Like he’ll never stop saying it.
Not for the rest of his life.

how abt eddie x shy reader , she meet’s wayne accidentally & she brings like sm food for the week he LOVES HER but shes so shy
a request deep from the archives that i haven't stopped thinking about since i got it hahah please enjoy xoxo — you spend a fluffy morning in with the munsons (established relationship, fluff, 1.2k)
bug's one year celebration ♡
Eddie rouses from his sleep like a king on a sunken-in couch.
Saturday morning cartoons play on the TV just ahead of him, mostly on mute ‘cause you’ve got the radio going in the kitchen. Something soft and soulful and too low for him to hear. The trailer swells with the scent of something sweet, of syrup and cooked sugar.
Speaking of sweet…
His flushed cheek rubs against the arm of the couch when he looks up to find you. He can see you just over the top of the counter, like a scene from a movie. You’ve got a bowl of something wedged in your elbow, and you stir at it with your free hand — half-distracted because your nose is stuck in an open recipe book on the counter. Your glasses fall slowly down your nose. You try to push them up again with your shoulder, but they slip back down a second later.
Your gentle humming fills his ears, and Eddie figures this is what heaven must be like. There’s no greater nirvana than this.
He rises and stretches and walks the very short distance to the kitchen. Still warm with sleep, he wraps himself around you, chest flush to the expanse of your back. “Whatcha doin’?” he lilts, muffled into your sweater.
“Cookin’,” you answer in the same tone, only softer and a little more sheepish.
Eddie breathes hard once. You think you feel him smiling. “Dumb question, huh?”
“Did you sleep good?”
“Too good to be passed out on the couch for an hour.” He lifts his head to prop his chin on your shoulder. It bobs against you with every word. “You were supposed to be sleeping with me, by the way.”
“I tried. But then I wanted to make you breakfast.”
“Correction. You wanted to make Wayne breakfast.”
Your giggling is as soft and sweet as the cinnamon concoction you’re stirring at. “Well, I don’t want either of you to starve, actually. So sorry for making sure the Munson’s are taken care of.”
Eddie’s chest swells. His heart starts to warm so much he’s scared it might burst. He tucks his face back into your neck and holds you tighter. “Don’t apologize, sweet thing. ‘M just being stupid.”
“That nickname’s not gonna stick, Eds,” you tease, tilting your head until your cheek meets his wild hair. “You can stop trying now.”
He scoffs and pulls back from you. His eyes, still softly swollen with sleep, are wide and glittering. “Why not?” he shouts, a bit too loudly to be so close to your ear. “You’re sweet and you’re my thing— it’s literally the perfect nickname.”
“You’re thing?” you echo with a distant laugh. “I’m not a toy, Eds.”
“Not all the time—” His boyish giggling is followed by a scoffed breath when you elbow him with your free arm. You shove him away halfheartedly, pushing him out of the tiny kitchen. “What?!” he exclaims, laughing loudly.
“Get out of the kitchen!”
“What’d I do?”
“My french toast tastes good ‘cause it’s made with love, and you’re tainting it.”
“How? I love you more than anything in the whole wide world.” He gravitates back to you despite your efforts to keep him away. He plants a smacking kiss to your lips and grins wide when he pulls away. “See? Now it’ll taste extra sweet.”
You’re glaring at him one moment, then happily accepting another one of his kisses the next.
The front door opens, squealing in protest and rushing in the cool morning air. It’s unsurprisingly Wayne. His work boots stomp heavy on the carpet. He holds a greased hand over his forehead. “My eyes are still closed,” he jokes, voice deep and gravelly. “You two have about three seconds to stop touchin’ each other.”
Eddie scoffs but steps back from you anyway. “That was one time!” he argues boyishly. “And we weren’t even doing anything!”
Wayne laughs a sharp breath, just like Eddie had, but a little bit gruffer. He forgoes the petty banter and shoots you a smile — tightlipped, barely-there, and weighed down by the exhaustion of the graveyard shift. “How ya doin’, sweetpea?”
“Good,” you answer, shrinking into your shyness. “I’m makin’ french toast.”
“That’s my favorite,” the older man grins. “How’d you know?”
“‘Cause it’s my favorite,” Eddie insists.
“It’ll be done soon,” you tell him, all quiet in your sheepishness. “If you wanna get changed or whatever.”
Wayne heads to the hallway, stopping short in the kitchen to muss at Eddie’s curls and pat you gently on the shoulder. “Thank ya, sweetpea,” he murmurs, voice dripping with fatigue. His accent always gets real heavy when he’s tired.
“You’re welcome…”
Eddie doesn’t say anything until he hears the bathroom door shut. “So Wayne can call you sweetpea, but I can call you sweet thing?” he asks, features swirled with offense.
“It’s different!”
The boy follows you to the cabinets like a lost puppy. Then, when you have trouble reaching the vanilla extract on the top shelf, he leans over you to grab it. “No, you just have favorites,” he argues, passing you the small container.
“That’s not true!”
“Whatever,” he grumbles, still pouting as he leans against the counter beside you. He mourns the lack of your attention when you give it all to the french toast mixture on the counter. You spoon in the vanilla with a practiced touch. “…Are you staying over again tonight?” he mutters, shier than you are now.
“I don’t know,” you shrug. “If it’s okay with Wayne, then—”
“Wayne! Sweet thing’s staying the night— is that okay?” Eddie shouts before you can blink. The trailer rings with the volume of his voice.
“Eddie,” you scold quietly.
The bathroom door squeaks open. A grunt sounds from the hallway, a nonverbal answer you’re not totally sure what to make of. The man returns in the pajamas he pulled from the hall closet — a thin t-shirt older than Eddie is and a pair of plaid pants.
“I’ll make dinner before your shift tonight,” you tell him with a soft grin that neither of the Munsons can say no to. “I promise.”
Wayne makes another scoffing sound. A laugh, maybe. A smile hints at the corner of his bearded mouth as he pours himself a coffee across the counter — in the painted mug Eddie made him for Father’s Day, several years ago now.
“Well— In that case, I’m afraid I have to insist on you stayin’, sweet pea.”
“Thanks, Mr. Munson.”
“Call me Wayne,” he tells you, playfully chiding in a parental sort of way. He gives you a pointed look over the cup he sips from and heads back towards the living room. “You’re feedin’ us too good to be so polite all the time.”
You smile to yourself and laugh a quiet, slightly forced laugh.
The sofa squeaks when Wayne settles onto it, sprawling out the same way Eddie had before. Too tired to reach for the remote on the coffee table, he watches He-Man re-runs with heavy eyelids.
“Alright, sweet thing— what do you need me to do?” Eddie asks with a clap of his hands, making a very pointed effort not to drop the nickname. You get all flustered when he calls you that — smiling softly to yourself and then ducking your gaze to hide it from him. You’ll have to pry the name from his cold, dead hands.
You turn to peer at him from beneath your lashes. “You dip the bread, and I’ll fry ‘em?”
“Sounds like a plan, sweet thing.”
“Eddie.”

The Quinjet hummed steadily beneath your fingertips, the vast stretch of ocean below endless and unforgiving. The ride back to the compound was at least full of beautiful views.
It had been an easy mission, just surveillance on a suspected HYDRA base. It took a week to complete, and now you were on your way home.
You leaned back slightly, exhaling. Just a few more hours, and you would be back home. Back with her.
Your fingers idly reached for the chain around your neck, your thumb grazing over the cool metal of the ring that rested against your collarbone. Natasha’s ring. Your ring.
"So you don’t forget who’s waiting for you," she had murmured the night before, fastening the delicate chain around your neck, leaving a soft kiss at the nape of your neck. You had smiled, shaking your head, but you had worn it beneath your suit every day since.
You were still lost in thought when Control’s voice crackled into the cockpit.
"Quinjet 9, this is Control. We just lost your tracking signal. Do you copy?"
Your brows furrowed. That’s not good.
"Yeah, I’m here. Everything looks fine… But let me check." Your fingers moved swiftly across the controls.
"Check your navigation relay. We’re showing nothing on our grid." A knot of unease formed in your stomach.
"Navigation relay is showing an error," you reported, your voice tight. "Stand by. I'll reboot—" The comms crackled, then cut out.
Silence.
Your stomach dropped.
"Control, say again? I'm losing you—repeat last!"
A new sound sliced through the cockpit—a shrill, piercing alarm.
Your radar flashed red. Missile lock. Your blood turned to ice.
"Shit—"
The first blast struck the Quinjet’s side. The impact threw you forward, your head slamming against the seat as the ship lurched violently. The left engine flared and failed instantly.
Alarms screamed. The Quinjet spun into freefall.
"Unidentified hostiles—taking heavy damage! Engines failing—I’m going down!" You shouted into the comms, straining to regain control.
"09, respond! What’s your location?! Agent Sloane, respond!"
You gritted your teeth, forcing your shaky hands over the controls, trying to reroute power. But the ship was already lost. The only thing you could do was brace for impact.
Your fingers clutched the ring against your chest.
Another explosion. The world blurred.
The ocean rushed up to meet you.
And then... Nothing.
—
The tension in the command center was thick enough to suffocate. Maria Hill stood with her arms crossed, eyes locked on the central monitor where Quinjet 9’s tracking data had once been.
Now, just static. Nick Fury stood beside her, his jaw tight, watching the same feed with unreadable eyes. Agent Dawson swallowed hard, headset pressed to his ear as he scanned multiple screens, waiting for anything-any sign of life.
Then—a red alert.
Dawson’s heart dropped.
"No, no, no..."
He straightened, turning toward Hill and Fury. His voice was steadier than he felt.
"We lost Quinjet 9."
Hill’s eyes narrowed. This couldn't be happening. "What do you mean 'lost'?"
Dawson hesitated. "No comms. No signal. No trace. It’s just... gone. We don't know where it is."
Silence.
Fury exhaled sharply, running a hand over his face. "Shit."
A muscle in Hill’s jaw twitched, but she gave a curt nod. "Start a search. Now."
Dawson hesitated. "Are we letting Agent Romanoff know?"
Fury and Hill exchanged a look.
Hill's voice was quieter now, almost resigned. "We'll tell her soon."
But Natasha Romanoff was already walking toward them, worried about not being able to contact you.
And the moment she saw their faces, she knew something had happened.
—
The first thing you felt was pain.
It dragged you from unconsciousness, a dull, throbbing ache that rolled through your entire body in relentless waves. Your head pounded, the world tilting dangerously even though you weren’t moving. The distant sound of waves crashing against the shore filtered through the ringing in your ears.
You forced your eyes open.
Blurry at first. Then, sharper—too sharp. Sunlight burned against your retinas, forcing you to squeeze them shut again. You tried to shift, but the moment you did, agony tore through your right side.
Your breathing hitched.
Ribs—definitely broken. You pushed through the pain, blinking against the light, taking in your surroundings.
Sand. Golden, coarse grains clinging to your skin. Your tactical suit was torn and streaked with blood and seawater. You were half-buried in the surf, the edges of the tide touching your boots. Further up, debris from the Quinjet was scattered across the beach—twisted metal, shattered glass, pieces of what was once your cockpit.
Shit.
You bit back a groan as you tried to sit up. A sharp, white-hot burst of pain shot through your right shoulder.
Dislocated.
Gritting your teeth, you cradled your arm against your torso, barely holding back a scream. Your ribs protested with every movement, but you had to keep going.
Your left hand found your chain, fingers fumbling until they closed around the ring.
You exhaled shakily.
Natasha.
She had no idea where you were. No one did.
The Quinjet had gone down off-radar. You had no comms, no signal, no way of knowing if anyone was even looking for you yet.
You’re on your own.
For now, at least.
Your forehead throbbed, and when you reached up, your fingers came back slick with blood.
You checked yourself over as best you could. Right shoulder, dislocated; ribs, at least two broken; head, bleeding, probably a mild concussion; and finally your legs, sore but not broken. Good. Small victories.
Breathing through the pain, you forced yourself to move. You needed shelter. Water. Some kind of plan.
But first—the shoulder.
You swallowed hard. There's no way around it. It had to go back in.
You found a rock near the treeline, rough and sturdy enough for leverage. Your breathing was ragged as you planted your feet, braced your body, and slammed your shoulder back into place.
White-hot pain was felt behind your eyes, swiftly dragging you into darkness. Resetting your shoulder—or other joints—was nothing new, but never under circumstances like these or with this many injuries.
The agony was too much for your body to handle. So to protect you, it shut off.
—
A few months ago
"You’re fidgeting."
Natasha’s voice was amused, but there was something softer in her tone, something fond.
You rolled your eyes, stuffing your hands in your pockets. "I don’t fidget."
She smirked, stepping closer, the city lights casting a glow on her freckled cheekbones. "You do when you're nervous."
You sighed, exhaling a shaky breath. It was a stupid thing to be nervous about. You’d faced assassins, HYDRA, and alien invasions, but somehow, this moment felt more terrifying.
You pulled the ring from your pocket. A simple band, strong, unyielding.
Much like her.
Natasha’s breath caught.
"I know we never really talked about it," you said, swallowing past the lump in your throat. "And I know we’re both terrible at normal, but—"
She cut you off with a kiss, her fingers curling around yours, closing them over the ring.
When she pulled back, her voice was barely a whisper.
"I was waiting for you to ask."
—
You were jerked back to reality by the sharp, relentless pain in your ribs and shoulder, the ache grounding you in the present. But the memory of your marriage proposal still lingered, a warmth that cut through the agony like a lifeline.
You flexed your fingers. It worked.
Barely conscious, body trembling, you let your fingertips brush against the ring resting against your chest. A reminder. A promise.
And with that, you forced yourself to your feet.

Bento Love <3
cw: 1.2K words | wife!Caitlyn, post-s2 act3, no warnings, making Caitlyn bento boxes bc she works so hard, domestic fluff
Caitlyn is having a brutally difficult day.
Between a long council meeting in which she had to break up several arguments, reading many letters from overseas, and planning for the upcoming Progress Day, she's exhausted. All Caitlyn can think about is getting home to you, to your warm embrace, and the day isn't even over with yet.
"Commander Kiramman?" a soft knock sounds from her office door, her assistant's voice breaking her train of thought. "I've had to move your meeting with the Noxian representative to an hour later."
Caitlyn exhales, resting her head in the palm of her head as she leans her elbow on her desks. She rubs her temples: a result of all the stress of the day. "Okay. Do I have anything for the next hour, then?"
"No," the assistant continues from the other side of the door before she pauses. "There's also been a delivery for you."
Caitlyn's eyebrows furrow as she straightens up in her office chair. She hadn't ordered anything to be delivered today. "What is it?"
The door finally opens as her assistant steps into the room, a small, pink box and a matching bottle in her hands. She sets them down on the wooden desk in front of Caitlyn before shooting her a small smile. "I'm under instruction not to tell you," she claims before making her way out of the room, shutting the door behind her.
Caitlyn's left staring after her blankly. "Not to tell me...?" she mutters, repeating her assistant's words in total confusion. Who could have even instructed her? She glances down at the small, pink box when she notices the pink ribbon wrapped around it. Namely, the ribbon you like to tie in your hair whenever the two of you go out.
Caitlyn's face breaks into a small smile, gently untying the delicate ribbon. It's clearly some sort of gift from you – though she doesn't quite understand why you wouldn't have told her that you were sending her something. She moves to lift the lid from the box, and her breath catches.
It's a small bento box with four compartments: one larger one and three smaller ones. The larger compartment contains slices of chicken katsu sitting on a bed of white rice, sesame seeds sprinkled on top. The smaller compartments contain a small caesar salad, strawberry slices cut into hearts, and a mini lemon-blueberry tart.
The box is complete with a napkin, mini utensils, and cute toothpicks adorning the food. Caitlyn smiles at the cute cat toothpicks: the ones that you always say reminds you of her. She twists the cap of the bottle off to reveal the contents of a steaming, jasmine tea – her favorite.
Caitlyn's eyes are wide, her lips parting in surprise as she gazes at the perfectly prepared meal. It's so lovely – so cute, and warm, and filled with the obvious love you have for her. She traces her fingers over the folded napkin before she notices the small note taped to the underside of the lid. She gently peels the tape off, holding the note up to see the words written on it.
You work so hard, Cait. Take breaks and eat well, okay? I love you so much, and I can't wait to see you tonight.
Caitlyn bites her bottom lip to stifle her fond smile at your words. She can practically feel her heart swell within her chest, already longing to wrap her arms around you. For now, all she can do is begin to eat the bento: savoring the way the food feels like a perfectly-packaged hug from you.
For the rest of the day, her head swims with thoughts of you. Caitlyn's shoulders feel remarkably lighter, and the seconds tick by faster and faster. That is, until she's headed home to you: time seeming to drag on forever as she rushes away from work to see you.
Meanwhile, you're humming away in the kitchen of the Kiramman Manor, already planning what you'll make for her tomorrow. You quite liked making the bento box, knowing that your beloved wife often forgets to eat when she has busy days. While her priorities are often swamped with those of Piltover, you ensure that her well-being is one of yours.
You're staring at the fridge, mentally planning ideas for tomorrow in your head, when you feel a pair of arms wrap around you. You jump slightly before your lips tug into a beaming smile, feeling Caitlyn embrace you from behind. "I don't know how you sneak up on me so well," you lean your head back to rest against her shoulder.
Caitlyn chooses to ignore that comment in favor of pressing a kiss to your temple. "You didn't have to do that for me," she murmurs, her breath warm against your skin.
"I wanted to," you sigh. "Someone has to take care of you, you know. You work too hard."
Caitlyn lightly sways you both from side to side as you turn around to face her. Her hand comes up to cradle your jaw, her thumb running over your cheek. "What did I ever do to deserve you?"
"Exist," you half-joke, but there's a note of truth to it. No one can deny your obvious adoration for her. "You need to eat and sleep and take breaks sometimes. I know it's hard for you to stop working, so just... let me help you with that."
Caitlyn takes a shaky breath. Because you're right: she does neglect her well being for the good of the city more often than she'd like to admit. When she looks down at you, seeing your wide, adoring eyes gazing up at her, she can't believe she has you. Her entire world, and it's nestled in her arms.
She can't help but lean down to press a soft, sound kiss to your lips. A single kiss that turns into two, three, four – she can't help it. Gentle pecks turn into hot, open-mouthed kisses, and she's not even quite sure when exactly she slips her tongue into your mouth and when you whine against her lips. Caitlyn is incredibly skilled with her self-control, but around you, it's like all of it is lost to the wind.
Gods, does she love you.
The bentos continue after that: packed, warm meals that Caitlyn looks forward to on rainy days and stressful weeks. Whether they're filled with steaming udon, grilled cheese paired with tomato soup, a mini quiche cooked just how she likes it, or her favorite fancy dark chocolate truffles – she's obsessed with them. Caitlyn's never been one for cutesy things, but when you attach your notes all tied with a ribbon, she's grateful that you're fond of them. Your words hold her over until she can get back to you.
And when you're back together a few hours later, holding each other close within Caitlyn's silk sheets, she lifts your left hand to gaze at the diamond ring that rests on your finger. Touches it with her own wedding band, too. There's no one, Caitlyn thinks, that she'd rather be with for the rest of eternity. Bentos or no bentos.
Oh, to be Caitlyn Kiramman's housewife.
I've never had a cute bento and I was SO jealous of all the kids in elementary and middle school who got them. Trust, I have so many ideas for ones I could make for my future wife. And for myself :)

₊ ⊹ ⟡ in the act (정윤호 ♡ j.yh)
you and yunho are roommates. he never comes home early, except for the one time he does and catches you in the middle of touching yourself and moaning his name.
style: bullet drabble pairing: non idol!yunho x fem!reader word count: 1.2k tags/warnings: smut, pwp, masturbation, porn, fingering, oral f receiving, lots of dirty talk, degradation / use of slut *affectionate*, praise, guided orgasm notes: so enough people said they were interested in some bullet-style drabbles and smutty drafts for all the ideas i have but don’t turn into full fledged fics. this has been sitting on my computer since the start of me writing ateez fic… so you can think of this as a summer nights alternate version. please enjoy! more to come.
[masterlist]

You and Yunho have been roommates for almost a year, and he was a total stranger when you met him. He was looking for someone to take over his spare room after Yeosang moved out and in with his girlfriend, and you couldn’t afford rent on your own and begged him to take a chance on you.
Over the year you’ve become friends… slowly and steadily
But you’re not an idiot, he’s gorgeous and funny and charming and if you’re not careful you might get a crush on him (or have a crush already)
You’re also completely oblivious to the way he watches you. His eyes tracking you when you cross a room, lingering a little too long on the curve of your ass, the flash of cleavage when you bend over, even the soft cushion of your stomach when you wear tight clothes. He’s frankly trying to not be hard whenever you’re in the room.
It didn’t start out like that, it started out like normal roommates and despite how attractive you were, he wasn’t looking for anything. But then you were funny and clever and infuriating in all the right ways and he just…. can’t stop thinking about what you would look like riding his cock.
And then there was that one time he walked in on you in the shower.
But you had laughed that off, he had laughed that off, truly there was nothing to even talk about because he didn’t see anything it was just a funny accident.
Only he did see a little - and the image of your pert, dark nipples dripping with suds has been his tried and true mastubatory moment for months now.
So when he gets home from work a full three hours early and the apartment is suspiciously quiet, he thinks you probably just went out for a mid-day coffee or ran an errand.
What he doesn’t expect is to walk past your bedroom, with the door wide open, and see you spread out in the center of your perfectly made bed with hand under your panties and your t-shirt pushed up high enough to expose one breast, your head thrown back and your eyes shut tight as you rub yourself, hips jerking into your hand.
You have headphones on, that’s the second thing he realizes, you have no idea he’s here.
And then you say it, a murmured pant of his name.
His cock stiffens up instantly and he jumps back from the doorway. He really didn’t mean to see so much or frankly wait so long to move away, but with the way you were panting, moaning softly, a blush over your chest…. the way he knows you’re thinking about him…. his brain admittedly stopped working for a second.
So he fakes coming home again, shutting the door harder than before and calling out into the apartment, trying to be loud enough that noise-cancelling headphones wouldn’t be enough to completely block out the announcement of his unexpected homecoming.
He drops his boots heavily, keeps talking into the apartment like he’s narrating his day, and then finally he hears the frantic sound of sheets and covers and your laptop snapping shut.
You sound so breathless when you respond, trying to make him believe you woke up from a nap but you can’t get up, you’re half naked and a mess and your door is open
And for a split second Yunho thinks of just giving you your space and letting this little incident pass by without notice, but he can’t because now he’s heard what his name on your lips sounds like and he needs to hear it again
So he shows up in your doorway and for a second he just teases - “How was your nap? Were you having a dream? You look flushed,”
But finally after stuttered attempts at recovery and clenching your thighs together under the covers he just says it - “So, you’re going to stick with the lie? Or are you ready to admit you were masturbating and moaning my name in the middle of the day?”
For a few moments it’s like a stand off… you don’t know how much he saw or what to admit to or if it’s better to laugh it off and tell him he’s hearing things….
But then - “You could have just asked me for help,” he says, a teasing smile on his lips, “but I’m here now,”
And it starts off tentative, Yunho peeling back the covers to get a good look at your body once you tell him you want him, and he doesn’t hide how hard this is getting him at all.
He’s vocal, verbal, and telling you every little thing he’s going to do to you, all the while teasing you for holding out on him so long.
“You must really want my cock if you’re crying out for it while you rub your slutty little clit, huh?”
“How long were you touching yourself? An hour? And you still couldn’t cum, but thirty seconds of my fingers and you’re squirming in the sheets? Oh, you are down bad,”
“Ride my fingers, pretty girl, show me what you like,”
And when you go dazed, dizzy and eyes rolling back at the feeling of his fingers rubbing you, pumping inside you, he snaps his fingers with his free hand - “Focus up, slut, you want to cum don’t you?”
Clenching on his fingers, slicking all over his hand
And he talks you through it when it hits you hard
“You gonna come for me? Yeah you are, that’s it, come on slut, come for me, so wet and messy knowing I caught you, so dirty, so pretty for me, there we go, come on,”
And you’re whining, begging him to get you there, so dizzy and aching
But the minute you start to cum he softens, praising how good you look, sounding so pleased and proud of you in a way that scratches your desperate subby brain just right
You need him to carry you through it, something you’d do yourself with ease, but he picks up on it immediately, watching your desperate, teary facial expression
“Oh, I got you,” He pumps his fingers deep, soothing you with his tone, “let go, I’ve got you, I’ve got you, good girl, that’s my girl,”
By the time you come out of it, it’s to Yunho’s kisses across your thighs, his hands spreading you open wide, “Gonna make you cum again, baby, you sound so good for me, so gorgeous for me,”
Your fingers laced in his hair
His hot tongue
Your aching, pulsing pussy brought to the absolute brink
And Yunho babbling into you as he eats at you, sucks you, kisses and caresses you -
“Wanted to do this for months,”
“Dying to touch you, baby,”
“Want you wrapped around my cock”
He takes you through two more heady orgasms before he kisses you on the mouth for the first time, before you find yourself both naked and rocking your bodies together
Need and pent up desire just taking you both under
Until you’re trembling in the afterglow, no more teasing now, only quiet confessions of how long you’ve both dreamt of this.
After that, you sleep in his bed every night.

not possible - Viktor x reader
🥀A/n: this was originally a request but it strayed wayyy too far off course... the writing had a mind of its own and im not sorry. but i AM sorry for not posting in a while.... ive been super hyperfixated on DC sorry
🥀Cw: fluff, non-sexual nudity, bathing, exhaustion/overworking
🥀Word Count: 1.2k words
🥀Synopsis: Viktor is overworking yet again, yet upon your insistence, finally takes a break.
Viktor was well aware that the candle at his side had long since burnt out, yet he was unwilling to find a replacement. the moon was bright tonight, and, combined with the soft blue glow emitting from the hextech he was working on, Viktor could make out the tools in front of him without any assistance.
he knew that working in the dim light was not a good idea, considering how straining ones' eyes could lead to faulty vision, but he couldn't bring himself to care. the ache in his bones ran deep, and his fingers shook with each breath. of course Viktor knew he should turn in for the night, but he found himself stuck in his chair, mindlessly fiddling with his most recent hextech project.
he was so engrossed in his work, he barely noticed your approach until you were practically on top of him. familiar hands find purchase on his shoulders and he jumps, only to melt back into your touch.
"ah, it's you," Viktor murmurs, turning around to face you. "may i ask, what are you doing up so late?"
"collecting you," you murmur, pressing a kiss to the tip of his nose. "it's already two in the morning. you've been here long enough."
Viktor sighs, and allows you to press a few more kisses to his face. the bags beneath his eyes were heavy, he was stiff and sore, and above all, he was exhausted.
joining you back home was certainly enticing, and hextech could always wait until tomorrow. and yet, the troublesome, burning itch beneath his skin wouldn't dissipate. he needed to complete just one more ruin combination, just finish this one little task, and then he'd let himself rest. at least, that's what he'd been telling himself for the past three hours.
"i can tell your overworking yourself again," you whisper, and Viktor huffs indignantly.
"overworking is, eh, a strong word. i am perfectly capable-" you cut him off by cupping his face in your hands, forcing him to look at you.
"Viktor, i am in no way denying your capabilities. however, you still need sleep. so, come back with me, and you can continue working tomorrow after a full nights rest. does that work?"
Viktor heaves another weary sigh, but agrees. you silently watch as he stands and steadies himself with his cane, not wanting to appear too overbearing but still concerned about his exhaustion. you wish you could alleviate some of the stress and burden that he carries, even though he relentlessly assured you that loving him was enough.
meanwhile, Viktor wordlessly packs up for the night. he knew you were trying to mask it for his own dignity, but the concern on your face was evident in the slightest furrow of your brow and pinch of your lips. he found it hopelessly endearing how you worried over him, and only wished that you would stop for your own sake.
after all, he was doing this for you. for the chance to live happily with you someday, after saving the lives of so many others. hextech consumed so much of his time, yet Viktor intended to make it up to you tenfold when you two would grow old together.
"you ready to head home?" your voice slices through his thoughts like a knife through warm butter, and he finds himself unable to do anything but nod. you did not hesitate to take his hand as you two walk back towards your shared abode, nor did you complain when he had to pause and catch his breath after some particularly bad pain in his leg. by the time you both arrived at your home, Viktor felt even more exhausted.
"i know it's late, but do you want to take a bath before going to bed?" your question lingers in the air for a few seconds before Viktor nods, and you begin setting up. you both know the warm water would only soothe his aching joints, and provide momentary relief from the pain he suffers from.
🥀
its not long before you and Viktor are curled against eachother in your large bathtub after washing off. he presses a gentle kiss to your shoulder as he absentmindedly washed your back, and you let out a relaxed sigh. you were both night-owls, but Viktor was much more accustomed to fighting off exhaustion.
you bite down on your bottom lip as more worries begin to seep into your mind. you feel almost selfish for missing him when he works so hard, and yet you want nothing more than to take all of his stress away. Viktor is quick to notice as you slip deeper in thought, between your tense muscles and quickened breathing, he can read you like a book.
"what are you thinking about, darling?"
another weary sigh escapes you.
"its just... you've been so stressed lately, i just wish i could alleviate some of the burdens you carry.. i know what you do is important, but i still wish i could be around you more often and help you.. y'know?" you let out another sigh. "i just.. miss you sometimes. and i worry. you know i worry.." Viktor chuckles at your words before turning you around to face him, the warm water around you both sloshing gently against the edge of the bath.
"you do more than enough already. believe me, everything i do, i do for you. for us. i love you," he murmurs, and presses a kiss to your forehead, "and nothing will change that. i can't guarantee that i'll always be around... but i will try to stop staying in the lab so late." Viktor's lips crinkle into a soft smile, and you can't help but kiss him in response.
Viktor always feels as though he's floating when you kiss. your soft lips against his, the contrast of his nimble, calloused hands against your smooth skin, your scent, your taste, it was all gloriously intoxicating. you hum against his lips before slowly pulling away, lashes fluttering against his cheek from your proximity.
Viktor leans in to whisper in your ear, his lips just ghosting your temple.
"i think it's high time we went to bed, dear. the waters getting cold, and i wouldn't want my beautiful darling to be exhausted tomorrow, hm?" you sigh at his flattery, yet agree regardless. as Viktor leans against the tub to stand up, you suddenly remember something and grab his hand to get his attention.
"hm?"
"by the way, about what you said earlier.... i love you more."
"that is not possible, my dearest."

°˖✧✿✧˖°
previous part | next part
Your hands shake as you set your laptop on your bed and open it. Your grateful James won’t be able to see the disaster going on behind the camera. You had torn your closet apart trying to find the perfect shirt. Part of you feels dumb, this isn’t even a real date. It’s just a video chat.
But it’s not.
It’s a video chat with him. Prongs. Your first ever.
Your heart pounds, your hands sweat, and it took you three hours to get ready. James, you remind yourself, his real name is James.
You’re debating changing your shirt again when you get the loud, ringing alert that James is calling. You scramble to fix your hair before you press answer.
And then, he’s there. Not on stream, not with the other Marauders. And he’s smiling at you, his face so sweet and you think oh my god he can see me.
“Hello, beautiful.” James says, running a hand over his hair. He has his headphones on, sitting up at his desk. If he wasn’t sitting there just waiting for your response, you might think you were watching him get ready to play a game. But you aren’t watching his stream. He’s really there, on the other side, and he can see you too.
“Hi,” You respond, a bit breathless and you find yourself giggling before you can stop. “I’m sorry, this is weird. Normally, I don’t have to actually talk back.”
“No typing necessary,” James winks at you, like actually winks at you, and you feel your cheeks and the tips of your ears warm. It gets even worse with his next words. “You look prettier on video.”
“Than my pictures?” You ask softly, and James is quick to quell any insecurities his words might have brought up, though there aren’t any.
“Your pictures are gorgeous, I love your pictures!” He says, but then he gets this soft look in his eyes and this goofy smile on his lips and he is so handsome you think you might die. “But I like it better to see you, to talk to you like this.”
“Me too,” You say after recovering from your swooning. You bite your lip to try (and fail) to hide your growing smile. The two of you burst into giggles again like children.
“I’m sorry,” James says, and his voice is as bright with joy as his face. “I’m having a hard time figuring out what to say. My brain won’t load because you’re too pretty.”
You raise your hands to cover your face, and your stomach erupts in butterflies. You shake your head a few times before lowering your hands back to your lap, a wide smile on your lips.
“You can’t just say things like that, James.” You say, eyes meeting his again, and even through the screen there’s sparks between the two of you.
“Why not if it’s true?” James asks, and then you hear some noises behind him. It catches the attention of both of you and James seems to type out a quick message on his second monitor, his eyes leaving yours for just a moment.
“Sorry,” He says, and it feels like the only word you two are actually be able to say to each other, “Sirius is home and he’s probably doing something stupid.”
“Sirius?” You repeat the unfamiliar name, though you know it is likely one of the other Marauders. James told you that the four of them live together as well as stream together. You wonder how they go out and do anything as friends with a group as recognizable as theirs.
“Padfoot.” James clarifies for you, and you type out a little note in the chat to remember. You’ll write it down later.
padfoot = sirius
“Are you wearing my shirt?” James asks, catching your attention again. You smile sheepishly, nodding as you look down at the shirt. You’re glad he noticed since it took you three hours to decide on it.
It’s a shirt from one of his merch drops, his logo of a stag with the antlers spelling out Prongs.
“I love it,” He says, and you love the way that he says the words like he’s never seen anything more beautiful in his life. “It looks really good on you. You’re so beautiful.”
“Thank you.” You say, but you want to say so much more. You want to tell him how much you love him, how many hours you’ve spent watching his streams. How he is the person you would turn to when you were sad, and he didn’t even know it. But you don’t say any of that.
James chuckles, sweet and a bit awkward, and pushes his glasses up his nose, “Do you ever play?” He asks, and you shake your head.
“Not… really.” You say with a shrug and then, “I’ve tried a few with my friends during game nights and stuff but nothing like what you play.”
“You should let me teach you sometime,” He offers with the cutest tilt of his head.
“Okay, you agree,” Smiling brightly even though you know you’ll probably only embarrass yourself in front of him. That’s okay, as long as he’s talking to you, flirting with you, telling you how pretty you are.
There’s another loud thud, followed by a series of curses that must be from Padfoot. Sirius.
“Shit.” James lets out a curse of his own and mutes his mic. He takes off his headset and you watch as he seems to yell a question at Sirius. His brow furrows and he frowns, turning back toward his monitor and unmuting his mic.
“I have to go help Sirius with something,” He seems reluctant, his words slow and drawn out. You can hear Sirius yell something else in the background and you really try not to giggle.
“That’s okay,” You say, and you find yourself completely enamored with him. “We can talk after your stream?”
“Yes! Yeah.” He says, nodding excitedly, “And um… if you uh, want to send me some more pictures during stream I would love that.” His cheeks flush as he rubs at his neck. “Just warn me next time, please.”
“Okay, I’ll send one.” You say with a nod, but you pause and open your mouth to speak again, feeling bold, “You have to send one too, though. Before stream.”
James’ eyebrows raise and he finds himself smirking, eyes shining with mischief and nodding. “That’s fair.”
“Okay.” You say, and you smile so hard it hurts your cheeks but you can’t stop.
“James!” Sirius finally screams loud enough for you to hear him and it seems things might be more urgent than you thought. Or he’s just being dramatic. “Stop talking to your girlfriend and come help me!”
“Okay!” James calls back to him, “Sorry, we’ll talk after stream. Bye!” He hangs up before you can say bye.
But you don’t mind.
Because Sirius had called you James’ girlfriend. And James hadn’t corrected him.

taking care of him | aaron hotchner x reader

summary: hotch comes home needy from a long case.
word count: 1.2k
cw: smut, f!reader, sub!hotch, coming in pants, hand job
It was late, so late that you’d stopped checking the clock about an hour ago. Aaron had called a few hours earlier, right before he got on the jet home. He sounded even more exhausted than usual and had made you promise you’d wait for him when he got home. You knew the case had been even harder for him than usual from his phone calls throughout the week.
That’s why you weren’t surprised when he looked like hell when he walked through the door. You hardly got a word out before he threw his suit jacket over a chair and plopped down on the couch, head leaning against the back of it.
“Welcome home,” you say, playing with a strand of his hair. “Long week?”
He responds with a groan. It was mostly tired, but you could hear a hint of something else beneath the exhaustion.
“I’m glad to be home,” he says, loosening his tie.
“I can tell.”
He gives a slight smile, facing you. His undereyes are dark, but there’s a glimmer in his gaze.
You take the hint, pulling him towards you by the tie. The kiss is anything but tired, his lips connecting with yours as you grab the back of his head. It’s as if he’s been saving the rest of his energy for this kiss, demonstrating just how lonely he was without you.
When you break for air, he leans forward, resting his forehead on your shoulder. “I missed how you take care of me.”
“Poor baby,” you say, eliciting a groan from Aaron.
You knew how he got after these long cases. Usually, he wanted to be in charge, the one to guide you. But when he got this tired, he just needed someone to take care of him. And you didn’t mind in the least, more than happy to pamper him after a hard week.
You push him back on the couch, taking his tie off. He sighs, letting the tension in his body slip away as you undo the first three buttons of his shirt, revealing just a peek of his chest. The first button was for him, to keep his collar from being so tight around his neck. The other two buttons were for you, giving you a glimpse of his skin and the dark hairs that curl on his chest
“Just relax, baby,” you say, gently massaging his shoulders.
You don’t need to tell him twice. He practically goes limp under your touch, eyes fluttering shut.
Your hands move from his shoulders, sliding his belt out of the loops. A faint blush blooms on his cheeks. You could tease him, but you decide his week has been long enough, instead moving to straddle his lap.
Aaron lets a tiny whine slip from him when he feels the pressure on his clothed cock. You smirk. You love it when he’s tired (or submissive) enough to not stifle his sounds.
You start to rock your hips, painfully slow at first. Aaron’s hands instantly go to your waist, gripping you just tight enough that you know there’ll be a mark tomorrow.
“Baby,” he begins, but you shush him, a finger tracing along his bottom lip. He obeys, breath hitching when you speed up ever so slightly.
You place a hand on each of his shoulders for leverage. Your movements are slow, but you make sure to drag them with enough pressure to keep him wanting more.
You know he wants more when he whimpers out “more,” words so breathy you almost miss them.
You giggle, and speed your hips up. You can’t deny him when his whimpers are so pretty in your ears.
He lets out a strangled groan, pride having gone out the window the second he walked through the door. You imagine him at work, all stoic and bossy, a complete foil to his compliance at the moment. His breathing is ragged, almost like when he’s close. He’s gripping your waist with both hands, whining with every move you make.
When you trail a thumb down his chest, he lets out an unrestrained moan, grabbing your hips to stop your motions. His head falls back, breathing ragged.
“Baby?” you ask with a knowing smirk on your face.
“Mm?”
“Can I ask you a question?”
“Mm.”
“Did you just come?”
He turns beet red, eyes squeezing shut. “Maybe,” he says, still trying to catch his breath.
You chuckle at his embarrassment, sliding off him to sit beside him. You unzip his pants, reaching under the waistband. He groans when you make contact with his length, fingers running along the wetness coating the inside of his underwear.
“You just couldn’t wait, could you?”
Words have once again escaped him, as he just whines in response. You shake your head, letting out a small tsk as you pull his pants down just enough to free him. Despite your front, you both know you love it when he gets so desperate that he comes in his pants like he’s being touched for the first time.
“How about you touch yourself for me, baby?”
He lightly grips the base of his cock, giving himself a few lazy strokes before pawing at your thigh. “I can’t,” he says, turning his head to look at you with pleading eyes. “I need your help.”
For a brief moment, you consider denying him. But the look he gives you is so desperate, so unlike his usual glare, that you can’t help but touch him.
You wrap your hand around him, thumb tracing along one of the veins before you start to stroke him. One of his hands reaches out, grasping at the arm of the couch for any kind of anchor he can find.
Aaron’s lips part, a breathy moan escaping him. He usually limits himself to groans, which only makes it that much better when he lets himself really make noise.
He’s letting out moans that you think must be your name, but you can’t say for sure with how unintelligible everything that leaves his lips is.
You speed up your motions. He’s clearly hypersensitive from his earlier release. It’s evident in the way he’s already whimpering like he’s close again.
Aaron’s hips start to buck up mindlessly, thrusting to meet your hand as it jerks him off.
“Please,” he says. He’s not exactly sure what he’s begging for, but he needs to beg for something.
You know his pleas are aimless, but you speed up your hand anyway, squeezing when you reach his tip. He lets out a sob, knuckles white as he grips the couch.
“Come for me, Aaron,” you whisper in his ear. You nip at his earlobe once to emphasize your words.
He nods frantically, biting his lip. It only takes a few more caresses for him to come with a cry, his release painting your fist. His whole body trembles, hips slowly ceasing their thrusts.
“Good boy,” you murmur as you lick his seed from your hand.
Your words have him giving one final whimper as he collapses completely, arms wrapping around you as he pulls you down so you’re both laying on your backs. He nuzzles into your neck, inhaling your scent as he tries to collect himself.
“Thanks,” he says, lips brushing against your skin.
“No need to thank me, Aaron,” you say, playing with his hair. “I love taking care of you.”
