I've been so stressed from the changes happening in my life that I forgot that, even though this is going to suck, God is going to get me through this transitional time. Eventually, I will have the stability that I need and I will have a family.

Life will persist and so must I.

In the past threeish days my phone has been stolen, my roommate got a flat in our only form of transportation, and my other roommate got an infection in a minor skin-deep leg injury that is currently serious enough to have him struggling to walk. We may need to take him to the ER soon. Additionally, due to bad timing in needing to submit documents with work, I need to complete a two factor authentication to continue working.

I need to replace my phone before I lose my job. My phone hadn't been paid off, and I am totally at a loss at the ungodly cost of it. I am the main supporter for both of my disabled roommates. I cannot lose this job.

ok first, ages since theyre all fucked up in game: Instead of the twins being older than all of glarn's kids, they're only a year older than lazlo which Yeah would mean glarn got mpregnant and disappeared from the house for some months to hide it (idiot), dropped the twins at his lovelorn ex-wife's house, and returned home to his "normal" kids. They'd otherwise be in their mid-late 40s living with these recently graduated young women and like for what 😭 As of 2004 they are 26, erin is 24, and kristen is 23. she skipped a grade so she was a college freshman at the same time as eri ^_^

but anyway this drawing is set in 1998 HERE ARE THEIR MAJORS: Lola in poli-sci, Chloe in philosophy (she never fucking chose), Erin in psychology, and Kristen in public health but in-game it would be biology stop i wanted them all to begin with P beacuse. silly. kristen's mom, being an older and more traditional parent, wanted her to pursue a career in medicine but after her death kristen got the courage to choose the major she wanted, which was <whatever major gives you a boost in athletic LOL i havent checked>

gah i didn't mention but college is where the 4 of them met :3 I'm thinking of placing them in this university because i want it to be pretty far from strangetown hence the Actual Grass, plus kristen isnt actually from there so mission u may be closer to her hometown? maybe? Post-graduation they all get a house together because of their money situation even though chloe is a bitch to kris and erin 😭 (kris doesnt mind though eheh... my idea is that her and chloe had a fling in college but while chloe is a romance sim and does not gaf, kristen is still a bit hung on her) (i dont necessarily ship them tho im a diehard misten/lost waters/whateverthefuck fan OK. kris is a simp for pretty femmes & i cant exactly blame her...)

Sure, bugging you had been fun while he recovered from...a fight he was totally winning and definitely did not flee from/get thrown out of.

Tying you up in his strings, eating your food, cutting your Internet when you least expected it, they all evoked such a...satisfying reaction. Your frustration was so funny. As if you could do anything against him besides grumble and pout.

As if you'd ever be strong enough to take him on.

That was why he'd spent nights standing over you in bed. You were so deep asleep everytime, without fail. Oblivious to the danger at your bedside.

How expectant you'd been while you waited for his answer after you'd asked how long he'd be staying this time.

That's it. That's why he came back.

You're entertaining. Error's already broken you in. Leaving you behind now to your merry, boring life would be such a waste, especially when he can jet off to torment you whenever he needs to blow some steam.

You smile all dopey in your sleep then. Error debates dragging you out of bed and making you dangle from the ceiling.

so weird to me that there persists this meme of academics as being gleeful censors of queer and lgbt history (a la “haha and historians will say they are roommates”) when you actually pick up contemporary histories and they’re all like “yeah this woman wrote love letters to those she called her friends but knowing the context of coded language these people were probably her lovers” - very obvious to me that a lot of thought about history was shaped by a surface reading of perhaps one textbook during high school and never again!
