you know what? I want to write a fanfic of TimBern in his high school versions, playing that "Seven Minutes in Paradise" game, where Tim and Bernard are locked up in some dark, closed-off place and everyone thinks nothing is going to happen to them. for the "super straight" Bernard Dowd and Tim Drake, but as soon as the door closes Bernard put his hand on Tim's cheek and ask him directly if he can kiss him. And Tim says yes after being surprised by the way Bernard looks at him, and then they kiss for seven minutes and reach many realizations. But when they leave they don't talk about it and just leave it as if nothing had happened (Both have to come to an understanding with their discoveries about their sexuality and are too insecure to try anything else) and then everything happens as in the canon until their reunion for the monster of chaos where they both look at each other and remember what happened and realize that this time they are both ready to give the next step. (Obviously Tim would not be Steph's boyfriend at the exact moment the game happened, because infidelity is not my thing) I know, super cliche but I like it hahaha, I'll probably write something like this for Timbern week if I can fit it in with any of the ads.

if you’re a fan of enemies to lovers and also a fan of tim drake (or if you hate him bc of fanon reasons stay here for a minute trust me) PLEASE consider my proposition.

so one of my big problems with timsteph is that it does a disservice to steph’s character almost all of the time, and also they’re not compatible, my issue with timkon is that they give off best friends with no boundaries and that their codependency is lowkey not vibey, AND people are weird about it. my issue with timbern IS THAT ITS BORING.

brief history of the character: lonnie was maybe concieved to be the third robin, something that tim drake would go on to do. he’s incredibly smart, and incredibly strong in his convictions. he got caught operating as the vigilante Anarky by Batman and was put into juvie. in juvie, he had a scheme to funnel moneys from corporations into the third world. tim drake ended up spoiling this plan, leading to the infamous-

of course, after lonnie gets out, they keep interacting-

and of course, the two of them and tam fox have some funny moments together.

also, they both fight with staffs and with hacking, and they’re narrative parallels with different morals. timlonnie is so underrated in terms of the dynamic they have and also the potential they have as a enemies to rivals to lovers ship. the potential they could have, not as a couple that changes each other, but as a couple that meets in the middle?

One of the popular guys mentions something about a highly advanced technology from Japan—a Super Quantum Unit Intel Processor. Something that'll get rid of all your problems, make you cool, get you the girl. He'd hook Bernard up with a Squip for just one upfront payment.

Bernard isn't exactly the most popular junior at Louis E. Grieve Memorial High School. Which is fine, all he needs is to get through the next couple years. He does have one problem, however. That is that Darla Aquista, the girl that he's obsessively crushed on for years, hardly notices him.

His best friend, Tim, wasn't all for it. $600 for some pill-sized supercomputer? Definitely a scam... but Bernard had to try.

Bernard, left alone after taking it, was shot with pain throughout his entire body. Once recovered from his writing in agony, a Chaos Monster, a rumoured creature that existed in Gotham, beings that served Dionysus, stood before him. He'd always had a sick fascination with them.

The creature was degrading and snide, spewed hurtful words about Bernard, but he promised a future in which Bernard was 'chill'. One where Darla was practically begging to be with him. And could that really be so bad?

Next thing Tim knew, he was being ignored in the hallways, as his online chat messages were left unanswered. He really needed to figure out what this Squip thing is.

Tim may have access to Bat tech, but he doesn't need Bruce getting involved, so he goes directly to the only other person who could help: Dick.

Dick knew of them. Of course he did. Some friend's friend was driven insane trying to get it out. And apparently all Tim needed to save his friend was Mountain Dew Red. Should be easy enough.

im assuming you're looking for fics, and i rly don't read all that much bc im so invested on tim that any mischaracterization pisses me off. but there's ONE fic i rly like, and i always come back to

now a warning: in this fic tim has a similar backstory to the new batman adventures tim, but jason still exists. also bad parents jannet and jack. It's heavily canon divergent, but it works so well, and it's so funny until it gets tragic.

you can also check out other works from this writer because i also really like robin radio and not robin related. i think they write tim and his relationship with the batfam rly well. also, there's no shipping, so it's rly just tim.

but other than that, i mostly just get fed tim content from my fyp like a spoiled toddler.

My Commentary on Tim Drake: Robin

Because it’s my blog and I can do what I want

Starting off strong with the panel that made TimKon shippers go crazy

Ahhh! I love them calling eachother the Batfam it makes me happy

A couple commentaries not connected to any particular panel but I adore the art style and I’m so happy Tim and Stephanie worked things out.

But I think Tim might have a type

TimKon shippers, TimBern Shippers and Platonic Tim and Steph fans somehow all got fed with this Pride Comic

People say Jason is the book nerd when Tim Spends this whole story recognizing and remembering the plots of detective novel not to mention he recognizes that he lost four books and figured which ones they are not to mention just the collection of book he treats like his most precious items. Like I acknowledge Jason and Jane Austen and love it but he should not be the only one joked about being a book nerd.

These clone escue thingys show up and Tim’s thoughts about them are so interesting.

I adore that even as he’s fighting them he’s saying praise for all of them, though he’s got the most for Dick. And the first read through I thought he didn’t compliment Jason and that made me sad.

Close up on Damian’s because you can’t really see it in the full page pic and the my baby brother just really got to me. I am very susceptible to Batfam moments

But Gosh even knowing they’re not his actual family it’s got to hurt to hear them confirm all his worst fears of never measuring up.

Well like father like son I guess. It’s not like Batman hasn’t figured out how to take down almost any hero he meets.

Little does Bernard know.

I love the TimBern in this. Their relationship is still developing, it’s clear that Bernard is comfortable in it from the start of the volume but Tim has his doubts of where they stand, of whether this is a good idea because he’s just dragging Bernard into his mess. But Bernard has his own messes and struggles and they can just be with eachother through all that

Tim. Timmy boy. That’s not a good thing. You should learn how to have some more self preservation, just because your family are all self sacrificing doesn’t mean it’s the healthy way to be.

Why is Superboy’s biggest fan what Tim finally responds to? Also why does Bernard call him that? Is Tim talking about him all the time? Also I love that Bernard calls him his boy wonder once again little does he know. (This is another scene I’ve seen TimKon fans go crazy for)

That’s the last picture on this post as I’ve hit the limit but the book was very good! I loved the villian, loved how they explored Tim. Love the Tim Bern. Tim coming to the realization that it’s ok not to know who he is yet is amazing. He’s figuring things out and that’s ok.
