I need Billy thinking he’s so great at hiding things (and he is) no one knows he’s like fucking eight but they are pretty sure he hates like half the league
Like I need Billy getting along with everyone but he’s kinda stiff around flash and Batman but it’s get worse after most of them have revealed their secret ids and the jls so confused
Billy 100% thought Batman had all these fucking gadgets bc he was like some high up government official and then he found out no Batman’s just some rich guy and he’s like god no why is that worse
Batman just doesn’t care (he does 💀 he’s so fucking offended esp bc Marvel used to call him Mr. Batman sir but also bc he thought it’d be easier to get marvels secret id and weaknesses) as long as it doesn’t affect missions but Flash is kinda concerned bc ‘I’m pretty nice to him…does he think I don’t like him?? Did I offend him?? Do speedsters like set off the magic balance or whatever??’
They decide to pair up flash, Batman, and Captain Marvel to make sure their issues won’t affect team cohesion so after they’re done rescuing these kids that got involved in some supervillains masterplan Batman and flash are doing the usual spiel of ‘the laws exist for a reason,’ ‘you can trust the police’ and ‘there’s no good reason to turn to crime’
These kids want nothing to do with that shit and they’re trying to edge away while making excuses ‘thank you sm!! But no this is so safe, I know this area so well! We can get home ourselves!’ as soon as Batman starts asking about their parents so captain marvel just grabs Batman and flash and starts flying in the opposite direction ‘do you see that?? No guys seriously look at this cool thing!!’ and Batman’s growling about ‘childish to a degree that’s entirely unprofessional’ and ‘needlessly endangering civilians, civilian children at that-!’ and flash is trying to mediate but batman is shoving documents in his face ‘They were runaways, they don’t have anywhere to go and now they’re on a hitlist’ the ‘you fucking imbecile’ goes unsaid but they all hear it so marvel takes them back to villains lair and grabs a henchman at random and goes ‘This guys a cop…you can check that with your fancy equipment, right??’ and batman checks solely to prove him wrong but that guy is a cop and so are about 60% of the henchmen they took out then marvel goes ‘So they wouldn’t have been safe even if you took them to a hospital or child services’
Before the id reveals there’s a mission where the police are involved and flash mentions something about police protocol and marvel is so concerned bc ‘you’re still undercover? How long have you been under cover dude??’ and flash is confused bc ‘you know I’m not undercover right?? That is my actual real life day job’ and no one believes him when he says marvel shot him the most disgusted look you can imagine and edged away from him
Batman tries to hold a meeting to address how marvel deals with the police and it goes no where bc marvel is fucking menace and goes ‘don’t you do that too?? And technically I’m also a vigilante sooo’ and batman is scrambling to get the jls attention back like ‘marvel hits cops 62% percent harder than other criminals and is 43% less friendly when interacting with the police in any capacity’ but they don’t care bc they want to know why marvel considers himself a vigilante
They start letting Marvel be the one to approach children and notice that he’s advising them on how to make food last longer and maintain good hygiene while taking care of themselves and a jl members like hey wtf?? and Marvel says some bullshit about how ‘he’s lived many lives and not all of them were charmed’ and it gets back to cyborg who starts a rumor that he was dracula bc he can’t believe marvel had the balls to look WW in the eyes and lie to her fucking face

an analysis of wolfwood’s characterization in trigun stampede as well as his connection to vash (+ why i believe he’s likely much older than we think)
okay i’ve been thinking abt this since eps 10 or 11 were released (this show became my special interest the second it dropped if i'm being completely honest) but its been scratching at my brain ever since i read the sakuracon radio interview and since i haven’t seen anyone talking abt this yet i figured i may as well because it’s clear they really did pull very extensively from the manga and i really am loving how they adapted his character. also i occasionally keep seeing the “tristamp wolfwood is a kid/is 14-15” takes which i need to at least try to help put to rest bc they make no sense given his other iterations and would actively make the story worse.
a quick tldr of my main points before i get on my very long winded soapbox:
wolfwood in trigun stampede has been used as an undying, unkillable soldier by the eye of michael for decades.
rollo as a character, as opposed to monev the gale, was designed specifically as a metaphor for wolfwood’s backstory.
wolfwood and vash are written to be literal complements to one another.
I literally don’t think I have the space to talk abt all my thoughts, and ofc these are all my personal thoughts so any and all of what i’m saying could be wrong, but direct analysis of eps 4-7 (as I think they’re the most important) and discussion of his trajectory in general under the cut (obvious spoilers for the show but also the manga as well as tw: discussions of suicide/suicidal ideation as well as the general tw list for the show's graphic content):
Starting first with a side point that Wolfwood was never a child at any point he was with Vash during thecourse of the story, including the manga. He has always been a man in his 20s, with trimax ww having the appearance of being in his 30s or 40s. It is absolutely crucial to his and Vash’s characterizations, as well as their entire dynamic together, that Wolfwood is an adult. Could make an entire separate post about this, but I feel like starting here is important.
Onto the sakuracon japan radio interview. The team gave a LOT of interesting insight into the development of the show, but one specific point stood out to me:
Tumblr media
This is important, because I definitely missed it during the show’s initial run, but I think it’s REALLY obvious once you know what you’re looking for, and is a big factor in why I think he’s likely older than we realized.
————
EP 4: These are the very first lines that are said about him in the show, and the very first time we see him, he is absolutely exhausted:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We know that at this point, Wolfwood is likely on his way to Jeneora Rock to meet up with Vash to fulfill his contract...until Vash and co. quite literally slam into him (and his life) unexpectedly, nearly killing him with their van. He probably should’ve died except… he’s on his feet almost instantly, able to walk perfectly fine and being a jackass as though he didn’t get launched halfway across the desert by a moving vehicle. Which is… odd, naturally.
When they try to find help and instead find the dead couple, he specifically mentions that he isn't a priest like he's been in other iterations. He's now an undertaker, someone meant to guide others through their deaths:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His personality is hard to tap down. He's goofy and childish and downright unlikeable, and there's a hint of something lurking deeper, something menacing and potentially dangerous. So much so that Roberto is on edge the entire time their group is together after being swallowed by the Grand Worm, and flat out tells Vash that Wolfwood is untrustworthy and likely an assassin, "a man who can kill with a smile on his face". And Vash’s response is… really fucking weird, given how long the two have known each other:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
not to mention he's wearing sunglasses Wolfwood is rightfully very ??? in response because, what the fuck is he talking about, and why is he so genuine about it, they just met???
Fast forward to a bit later, when Wolfwood is like "hey man, you really shouldn't be so trusting. I could've shot you in the back several times now." To which Vash is like "but you didn't, though." And Wolfwood is even more confused because is this guy stupid???
And then it's time for the final act: Wolfwood reveals his Punisher, destroying the Grand Worm while giving the illusion of taking out Zazie as well. Meryl was informed by someone that Wolfwood had been the one to save them all, but when she tries to thank him, he immediately shifts the subject, being annoying and arguably completely unlikeable. Roberto points out that Wolfwood had lied about who he was, trying to get Vash to realize that he still can't be trusted, and again Vash shoots it down: "We're alive because of him."
Wolfwood showed his role as the Punisher without hesitation, and not only was Vash not really phased by it, but he actually seemed to be inspired by him, stopping his self-destructive tendencies and even repeating his own words back to him. And that's the moment we finally learn his name in the show:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then, almost immediately, we have a complete reversal of his scene with Vash in the Worm. It’s also of note that Zazie always specifically says human lives:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
————
EP 5: One of the most important episodes in this discussion, and it starts with the name alone, "Child of Blessing". Here’s a very general summary:
A young boy in a much less than ideal living situation is chosen to be 'a blessing upon the world through his sacrifice', which turns out to secretly be mutilative experimentation on children in search of a subject compatible with a mysterious medicine that can heal any injury. The meds warp him, morph him into something that doesn't even appear to be human. He tries to return home, but his mother, the only family he knows and loves, is terrified of him. She calls him a monster, and the boy finds himself struggling to articulate who he is. Then, he wanders alone alone without purpose in that unchanging altered body, a body that can withstand lethal amounts of damage directly because of the meds, for at least 20 years. All he has is a single name: Vash the Stampede, the person who promised to save him, and the one person who managed to bring back his consciousness in the end, if only for a moment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The moment Nicholas sees Rollo regenerate is the second the switch flips. He instantly demands to know what the fuck is up with him, and when Vash responds telling him that he was too late to give him the medicine he needed, Wolfwood shuts down, because he recognizes himself. From this moment until the rest of the episode, we are no longer seeing Nicholas D. Wolfwood; we're seeing Nicholas the Punisher.
Vash continues to push Rollo to remember who he is, while Nicholas continuously says that there's no way to save him, that he's already a monster now. In the final moments, Nicholas inevitably feels tasked with Rollo's death like the undertaker he is, and when Vash angrily demands to know why he took the shot, his response is:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When discussing Rollo's killer, Elendira refers to Nicholas by name, but Conrad specifically states that no, he is the Punisher.
In vol 10 of the manga, Vash thinks to himself: “I met a strange man. Just as I thought we had come to an understanding, I found that our core beliefs were opposed to each other. I was used to such situations, but I wonder how he felt.”
————
EP 6: This episode builds directly upon the foundations set by the episode prior. Child of Blessing ended with Rollo being referred to repeatedly as a monster, and this episode begins with Nicholas in the middle of completing a kill. Right before he does, his victim gets one final glance at his assailant, an inhuman looking executioner, and calls him a monster… directly because he will not die. He’s also been shown knocking back meds like tequila shots in tristamp, which we all know was NOT possible in the manga. During the flashback scene, Nicholas is literally called the Child of Blessing.
We see a very similar sequence with Nicholas that we saw with Rollo; the horrific torture, the bodily mutilation (during which Conrad specifically mentions that the drug will heal all damage done the body, as well as rebuild and strengthen the cells), and the attempt to return home:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Something different happens with Nicholas, though. Nicholas can't go home; he’s literally yanked away from his chance at freedom by Legato. Nicholas can’t go home, likely ever again in his mind, because Hopeland Orphanage and the Eye of Michael represent two fundamentally different ideals.
Hopeland (and thus Livio) is exactly like its name for Nicholas: it is is land of hope, the only place in the world where Wolfwood was allowed to exist freely. When Nicholas was taken by EoM, Wolfwood began to die.
The entirety of the EoM is shrouded in imagery of death and rebirth, specifically in regards to humanity. Humanity in this case has a dual meaning: humanity as a species, and humanity as a concept. Their philosophy is that the end justifies the means in that humans in this form will be preserved and would likely live exceedingly longer lives but, as repeatedly mentioned, there are side effects.
Aging and death are integral parts of the human experience, the two aspects of life that we ALL experience regardless of circumstance. Can you be human without humanity?
The message behind these two episodes is to show that the process of becoming part of the EoM is a metaphorical crucifixion symbolizing the death of one’s humanity. And Nicholas is interesting, because he’s almost the perfect specimen in their eyes and is treated as such. Almost. The only thing holding him back are the two strands of humanity he has left, both which are nearly destroyed in the very next episode.
————
EP 7: In the previous episode, during the animated flashback of Nicholas and Livio, we see a few scattered scenes of other people living at the orphanage. Interestingly, while almost all of the children are seen with very sparse detail (or even none really at all), there is one person, the caretaker, whose face we get a pretty clear picture of. At the very beginning of this episode, we have the first and only shot of the inside of the orphanage in the usual style. While none of the children are familiar and actually aren’t incredibly distinguishable from one another, there is one figure in the room with recognizable hair, but looks considerably older than in the flashback:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
During the majority of their interactions, you don’t see Nicholas and Livio interacting with any of the other children. They are simply a background, a set piece to the story and a representation of just how other they were forced to become.
This episode features them fighting each other, dealing each other what should be mortal wounds, but somehow remain standing, as though they’re perfectly fine. As if on cue, the soldiers stationed call them both monsters and run away in fear.
But Vash doesn’t run from the danger. He runs towards it.
Nicholas tries to stop him, and all he gets in return is “he’s important to you, isn’t he?” as though that’s enough. But it is enough for Vash. And Nicholas doesn’t know what to do with that.
Nicholas comes dangerously close to giving up, to giving into his role as the Punisher and killing the last bit of Wolfwood to do so, but it’s Vash who stops him. He diverts his shot and, instead of hurting Livio, literally frees Nicholas from Legato and Zazie’s trap. Vash tells him to make him remember, and Nicholas thinks it’s bullshit… until he doesn’t.
And when he finally relents, when he tries to emulate what the silly blonde idiot keeps screaming at him about… It works. For a moment, but Livio does wake up for a moment. Nicholas hadn’t been able to see Rollo, but he did see this. And he really doesn’t know what to do about it.
To drive the point home, Livio drives a bullet into his own head and falls to the ground in a scene very reminiscent of Rollo’s death… but is implied to still be alive. With him saved, now it’s time for Hopeland. And this is when the narrative really turns a focus to the balance between Nicholas and Vash.
The group is half convinced that they’re about to die snd that the town will be destroyed when, all of a sudden, it’s Nicholas who’s yelling that they have to do something. Because despite all the noise Nicholas makes about self-sacrifice and calling Vash a weirdo, he’s directly inspired by his energy, which is proven correct when Vash is the first one to side with him.
Then, somehow despite the odds, the two of them manage to work together to stop the ion cannon. Which should have been impossible. And because of this, Nicholas is finally willing to give Vash the chance to take the lead on things.
When Vash and Wolfwood discuss their plan to save Hopeland, and after they argue about which method is the correct one, the conversation they have is probably the clearest depiction of Nicholas’ inner struggle:
Nicholas: Have it your way. Just for today. I do owe you one… but if the orphanage doesn’t survive this, I’ll hurt you so bad you’ll wish you were dead before I kill you.
Vash: Wolfwood…
Nicholas: Shut up! I’m the Punisher! I’m not like you… I’m Nicholas the Punisher…
He murmurs the last line as though he’s trying to convince himself. He uses his persona as the Punisher almost like a mask, like a cat puffing up and hissing to deter predators. It’s a defense mechanism, and a trauma response. Except.. it still doesn’t work, because the entire time Vash is simply not listening. Regardless of what Nicholas says, Vash does not stop fighting Nicholas on the title that was forced on him by the EoM and, in fact, blatantly rejects it. And the moment Nicholas finishes speaking, when he declares himself to be the Punisher, the episode’s title card finally appears: Wolfwood.
It's a direct representation of this panel of Nicholas' inner monologue from the manga:
Tumblr media
——
Nicholas and Vash’s roles as each other’s complements is emphasized very deliberately when the two work to stop the sand steamer from smashing into Hopeland. These screenshots occur one directly after the other:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another detail the team mentioned often during the interview was attention to use of color. In color theory, blue and orange are complementary colors: hues that are opposite each other on the color wheel but, when used together, come together to create harmony and balance. Additionally, Vash is the character typically associated with warm hues, while Nicholas is paired with colder ones; with the colors flipped, it’s almost as if they are literally mirror images of each other.
The two are in the same position, in the middle of similar actions, both drawing strength from that which makes them “other” in order to work together to protect a common goal. And once again, miraculously, they succeed, able to do together what neither could ever have done together.
This mirror motif is even clearer when comparing these respective scenes from each of their respective backstory episodes:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For Nicholas and Vash, on top of sharing such a crucial common thread in their backstories, often in the show they are seen together, either side by side or back to back. Often they’re shown doing the same thing at the same time, almost as though they’re moving as one. And they consistently save each other over and over again, with Nicholas acting to save Vash physically, and Vash working to protect Nicholas’ psyche. Vash refuses to let anyone continue to see themselves as a monster, as lesser than, in much the same way Nicholas refuses to let anyone else be used as one.
They are a pair, a unit working together to create a force that is stronger than the sum of its parts.
They are both “other”, they are both different, and they both seek to protect the things they love and care about despite the excruciating pain it can put them through.
Nicholas and Vash’s entite dynamic is basically “I don’t understand you, but I recognize you. I recognize myself in you. And somehow, that’s enough for me to trust you.”
————
So with all this in mind, here is how I’ve come to understand Nicholas’ arc throughout tristamp:
When we first meet Nicholas D. Wolfwood we meet a weary man longing for death to save him, longing to be free from the purposelessness of his life but knowing the hope is futile. He works for the Eye of Michael as an assassin against his will and has for God knows how long. Not only is he no longer a priest, but he’s no longer religious at all, having no belief in God at all and a particular disdain for the false promises and hopes of salvation that are portrayed by it. He doesn’t care about the clothes he wears, whether he looks messy, whether it’s suited for the desert, because he literally doesn’t care about anything, really. He has no home, and can never go back to the orphanage— there’s likely no one left there that he knows anyway, and even of there were, they wouldn’t recognize the monster he’s become. Nicholas is tired, he’s angry, he’s potentially depressed. He fights impractically, sometimes leaving himself open to attacks he could probably block with his Punisher, but he just doesn’t care. He’s just here to do his job, which is to escort his piece of shit CEO’s assumedly equally piece of shit brother to him so they can destroy the world together and he can hopefully die off in peace.
Until he actually meets Vash, and he’s… really fucking weird. He’s dumb and naive and acts like he knows Nicholas on some deep level after they’ve just met, but… he’s not a bad guy. Just another crybaby who doesn’t understand the world. He can see the Punisher and not be frightened by it. That means something, means enough that he feels that he can introduce himself now. He still doesn’t know how to handle kindness, so he deflects whenever it’s shown to him, making irreverent jokes and being annoying in order push people away. But then he meets Rollo and has a flashback to himself. He learns that Vash is no stranger to false promises, has sold the same thing to the kid who ended up just like him, and yeah, Vash is no better than the EoM. He talks a big game but doesn’t actually know anything. Nicholas kills Rollo out of mercy because it’s what he wishes could be done to him; every day of living his life is torture.
But then his hometown and childhood best friend are suddenly in danger. He’d completely forgotten what it felt like to have something to lose, to protect. And without planning for it, Vash also becomes something to protect, because even if he doesn’t act like it, Nicholas desperately wants to believe in him. He doesn’t want the EoM to be right. But the feeling of having something to protect is terrifying, because it means you have something to lose. Nicholas gets incredibly stressed out by this, because it’s been so long that he doesn’t even remember what it feels like. But it’s enough to get him, for likely the first time in a very long time, to hope. And it’s Vash who helps him so that he’s able to hang on to that hope for a little while longer.
He still can’t get too excited, because he hasn’t actually finished his job yet. Before he does, though, he sees Vash’s scars (which was a deliberate choice, as in both the manga AND the og anime this scene went to the girls) and wow, if it weren’t for the regenerative properties of the drug, he would likely look the same. He drops Vash off with Knives and knows that Vash will likely be killed, but he’s also expecting to die himself in the fallout, so it doesn’t matter, really. Except for some reason, it does a bit. And then, yet again, Vash miraculously doesn’t die, and in fact changes the game and actually looks like he might stand a chance against Knives, and is clearly willing to die to do it.
And then July is destroyed. But, miraculously, Nicholas isn’t dead. He still finished the contract, but now… now what?
The show began with Nicholas at his lowest, and ends with Vash at his lowest point. And Nicholas owes him one.
————
INCREDIBLY long story short, it really is clear that they weren’t kidding, the team really drew SO MUCH inspiration from the themes trimax it’s unbelievable and I really really think we’re in for something incredible during the second phase. I also think it’s gonna hurt like a bitch.

Any really weird or funny things in the LoZ games you think deserve attention in LU fics?
Oh, a bunch. Where to start?
Firstly: they should play more minigames. Especially dancing. Weird that the Gorons moved on to wrestling as their main sport by Twilight's era; frankly that's a downgrade. Legend and Time should remind them what tradition looks like.
And some minigames are just... ridiculously dangerous? They would make GREAT crack fics. Any myths of Sky being normal and well-adjusted would crack under the weight of that game where you get shot out of a cannon and then skydive down to slam your face into a giant roulette wheel. Or that game from Labrynna (Legend) where this Goron throws a whole heap of bombs at you to see if you can dodge them. Only slightly safer than a similar game involving cuccos.
And on the more serious side of lore that I think is under-explored: the Royal Family has a daaaark side. In a lot of ways, really, which are HINTED at in the games, but rarely actually detailed. For example, it's mentioned in Twilight Princess that the Royal Family have been exploiting the Twilight Realm since LONG before the Twilight Realm started fighting back. And in TotK's ancient Hyrule, we never did find out what happened with the rest of the Zonai, or how exactly Rauru ended up in charge of things.
Ocarina of Time has the darkest portrayal of the Royal Family - even though Zelda is the only member of that family that you ever actually see (the king is somewhere offscreen at the time you meet her). Although everything seems fine and normal at first - notwithstanding the giant war that happened before the start of the game and which left Hyrule Field SWARMING with undead - you eventually come across Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple, which uhh... don't paint the Royal Family or Sheikah in a particularly nice light.
And then there's Zelda II's background lore from the game booklet, which says that a king from long ago created the monsters that guard the Palaces:
Tumblr media
Are we just going to skip past the fact that the King can create monsters?? That feels important! When and how did he learn to do that? Does that have anything to do with how Dead Hand and Bongo Bongo came into existence? Or anything to do with BotW's Guardians, WW's Tower of the Gods, SS's Lanayru facility or the transformative shadow magic in TP? Possibly not, but it's fun to think about. Teehee conspiracy brain go brr.
There should be more spooky scary horror fics, maybe. Maybe I should write this. (It's vaguely included as a plotpoint in my longfic, but I am SLOW right now.)

a couple little vol 7 thoughts featuring vashwood brainrot 😎✌️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
man this scene makes my brain itch on so many different levels lmao, like on the surface level wtf wolfwood!! we’ve just had all these chapters explicitly digging into how vash has a Problem where he tries to hide his pain under empty smiles- and in fact wolfwood clocked that about him pretty much instantly back when they first met! so of course badgering him about ~looking sad~ (especially when he started the page with a neutral to mildly glum expression) is just gonna make him try harder to cover it up, and that’s exactly what he does with that stupid little smile on the second page 😔
but wolfwood’s whole point here is that that shit isn’t gonna work on him no matter how hard vash tries! unfortunately wolfwood is also emotionally constipated as hell, so it comes out as aggression and teasing rather than anything genuine.
actually i just gotta revisit that earlier moment here because the contrast is just fascinating lmao
Tumblr media Tumblr media
like goddamn wolfwood really came in hot with the sincerity in that first meeting, how did we go from that to this?? was it just because they were strangers then, and wolfwood thought he could get away with saying shit like that because their paths might never cross again? this was also before ww got his assignment from Knives- did he not know this was the boss’s brother? he probably didn’t realize the twins’ inhumanity at that point either… he’s had a lot to grapple with over the course of this assignment, both re: the twins’ apocalyptic power, and the fact that he has to betray vash at the end of it, that would naturally create a need for emotional distance. allowing honesty and attachment with vash puts too much at risk.
so really, given that very high-stakes need for distance, it’s telling that wolfwood still can’t help expressing his awareness of vash’s suffering & investment in cheering him up, even if it comes out in such a ridiculous way lol
it also seems like a clumsy/oblique way of trying to reassure vash that he’s still a person? vash’s inhuman nature has come more to the forefront lately- losing control in the dragon’s nest, regaining the memory of all the death he caused in july, catching that bullet with a feather only for the whole town to turn against him for it- and it’s clearly been weighing on him. so wolfwood acknowledges that angle by calling him all those awful things- “the legendary devil gunman, the humanoid typhoon”- but immediately discredits them by pointing out vash’s softheartedness.
idk i also have one more little bit of brainrot about the moment they share leaving the bar, acknowledging that things are about to get serious with Knives
Tumblr media
like goddamn there’s so much meaning packed into that exchange!! it’s the closest they really come to acknowledging their whole “you know i know you know” deal around wolfwood’s assignment. (hah, “i told you from the start…”, fuck. ) like, openly telling vash that knives sent him would break the plausible deniability that wolfwood is simply fulfilling his mission, and that would put the orphanage in danger. at the same time, he has been 0% subtle and never actually *lied* to vash about it either- the few times vash has asked direct questions, wolfwood has given him vague answers or conspicuous silence and allowed him to draw his own conclusions.
so this seems like their weird twisty way of setting mutual expectations for what’s going to happen next. wolfwood is vash’s “guide”, no more and no less- he has enough insider information to bring vash safely to his brother’s door, but past that point wolfwood will stay out of the confrontation. it’s the one thing wolfwood and both brothers all agree is best, whether they like it or not. god wolfwood’s face in that last panel kills me
i am absolutely normal about this

more of precious coworker wonwoo?? YES PLEASE 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️
based off of this text post and here’s part 1 coworker ww is about to become an iconic character of this blog like college au ww and mafia ww im excited anyway content warning for: sappy cute shit, more making out, mentions of food, light choking whoops, hoshi shows up <3
you: meet me at the spot when you’re done for the day
you: wanna talk to you about smthin
it had been maybe a week since your last meeting and he still remembers the way your lipstick felt against his neck and his wrists still have marks from where he pulled on his restraints. he can’t wear that tie anymore for fear of getting turned on with it wrapped around his neck.
but your text messages have him perplexed. you never want to talk. you do, but it’s never an intention or goal; it’s an afterthought. words spill out of your mouth when you need a break from kissing.
he spends the rest of his work day wondering what the hell you wanted to talk about, but you barely looked in his direction when he crossed paths with you. you’ve always been good about making sure no one notices what’s going on between you both.
he hasn’t. he’s already let it slip to soonyoung, someone his age in his same department, that he’s, for lack of better wording, fooling around with you.
when he makes his way quietly to the janitor’s closet and you pull him inside, you seem different than usual. you seem deep in thought, like whatever you wanted to talk about was really important to you.
should he be worried?
“hey,” he says, awkward in his lack of social ability, “what did you want to talk about?” you look up, with those pretty eyes and a soft smile that makes his stomach jump.
“can i have my moment before i ask you?” you say with a giggle, and he nods. you touch his face so much more gently this time, caressing his cheek and kissing just the edges of his lips to tease him slightly before you go all in, whispering, “god, missed how you taste,” in between kisses, “i’m gonna steal your chapstick one of these days.”
“that’s okay,” he murmurs, holding your hips so you’re pressed tightly against him, “maybe it’ll make you like me more. you’d never stop thinking about me.” he’s usually not a flirt, but he can’t help himself suddenly. he just gets into moods where the flirting just comes so natural.
he gasps when your hand rests easy against his throat. you don’t do anything, because that’s too fast and intense and wonwoo likes things slow. but you keep it there, using it to keep him where he is until you’re satisfied enough to pull away. he’s just so easy to keep kissing. he lets you bite his lips and he holds your waist tightly and it’s dizzying how good it feels to lose yourself in him.
after you get that energy out, you finally let go, choosing his hair instead to play with. you move a piece of his hair that is standing weirdly back to its place, saying, “we should meet up at either my or your place to discuss the project for next quarter. do you have a preference?”
still dazed from a moment ago, he’s got no idea what you’re talking about because you’re in the same department but have been on different teams for a while now. you have no shared projects. what was this really about?
“uhh, what?” he asks, still holding onto you.
“you know, the project,” you say slowly. you result to pointing to the door of the janitor’s closet when it takes him too long to catch on, “we should meet up sometime to discuss it in further detail than we’ve been able to here.”
only then does he get it, “oh that project,” he murmurs, his low voice telling you he knows what you mean, “whatever you prefer.”
“is that something you’d like? to be able to go into further detail?” you ask, cautiously asking like he hasn’t given you every signal that, yes, he wants to take this further. the answer is a resounding yes, it always has been. he doesn’t know how many more times he can jerk off in the bathroom because you left him half hard and dizzy in your rush to your next meeting. he knows that you don’t really mean to, even if you twist it to seem intentional because you feel bad. he knows you feel bad.
and he can see in your eyes some excitement, some nerves, maybe you feel just like him. maybe when he’s got butterflies in his stomach when you kiss his neck, your heart is also going 1000 beats per minute. god he hopes so. he hopes his crush, for lack of a better term, is reciprocated.
“yes, i’d love that,” he smiles, tucking a piece of your hair behind your ear, “yours or mine?”
“yours,” you say.
“okay,” he says, “i’ll text you my address. you wanna come now?”
“yeah, haven’t gotten to kiss you in like a week- i’ve been so busy i didn’t even have 10 minutes to steal you away,” you murmur to him, running your fingers through his hair one more time, “what am i gonna do with you?”
he tells you, “you can make it up to me,” with a soft smile. he’s too charming for his own good.
you scoff at his antics and move to walk out, “get your stuff together and head out in like 10 minutes. don’t walk out of the building with me.”
after a second he walks out after you, “hey, uhm, are we just discussing the project? or…” he trails off when you look back at him, maybe 15 feet away now. he supposes he has to finish his question, even if he feels scared to, “or are you going to want to do anything else?”
you make a face like you only half get what he’s implying, but you say, “i’ll order food for when we take a break. is sushi okay?” he makes a face at your words.
you laugh, something so melodic to his ears, saying “i’m kidding, i know you don’t like seafood. i’ll get pizza.”
oh, well. he thinks he could really fall in love with you. he’ll tell soonyoung about it on his way out to his car, hiding his face away in shame when his colleague congratulates him for finally getting laid; not that he couldn’t before. but it wouldn’t have been you.

Special film of my target~Butch Sheffield flew B-47’s then B-58 before SR-71 for SAC.
Butch told A General during a large meeting of the B 47 troops in Europe that he wasn’t afraid to drop the bomb. In fact, he said, “Give me your biggest bomb. I’m ready to drop it.”
Reconnaissance over Russia, the USSR has a huge landmass and in the 1950s we were unsure of the target. The failure of the Pearl Harbor attack was less than 10 years ago. United States would NOT be surprised again as we were in 1941 as Paul Crickmore said in his new book, Lockheed Blackbird Beyond the Sercert Mission, the missing chapters. The underpinnings of of the procurement of intelligence are the very essence of the Blackbird programs.
‘’In the late 1950’s, I was told to go to the Wing Plans Division. They took me into a Top Secret vault and I was told that I could not tell anyone what I was about to see, even my own crew.
They then showed me a radar film of my target in Russia. It looked like the same type radar I had in my B-47. It was from an RB-47.”
I WAS TAKEN INTO A SMALL ROOM IN OUR TOP SECRET VAULT AND LEFT BY MYSELF. I WAS SHOWN RADAR MOVING PHOTOS OF MY TARGET IN RUSSIA TAKEN BY A RB-47 WHEN ASSIGNED TO THE 384th BOMB WING AT LITTLE ROCK, AK. (1955-1960). I KNEW AS SOON AS I SAW THE MOVIE THAT IT WAS TAKEN FROM A RB-47 BECAUSE OUR RADAR ON THE B-47 WAS THE SAME. THE MAN WHO SHOWED ME THE MOVIE SAID I COULD NEVER TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS. I DON'T BELIEVE HE KNEW WHAT I WAS SEEING. HE DID NOT STAY IN THE ROOM. MY PILOT & AIR CRAFT COMMANDER NEVER KNEW. I DON'T BELIEVE THE WING STAFF KNEW EITHER. IT WAS VERY CLOSE HOLD PROGRAM.
I NEVER TALKED ABOUT IT UNTIL NOW
WHEN ASSIGNED A TARGET IN RUSSIA I STUDIED IT WEEKLY AT OUR PLANS DIVISION IN A VAULT, ALONE. . WE DREW UP RADAR PREDICTIONS FROM MAPS THAT WERE FROM WW-2. I WAS ASTOUNDED WHEN I SAW THE MOVIE.
THIS WAS A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE DURING THE CUBA MISSILE CRISIS. GENERAL Le MAY (FORMER SAC COMMANDER AND THAN CHIEF OF AIR FORCE STAFF) KNEW WE HAD THE RADAR DATA AND WANTED TO GO TO WAR. HE KNEW THAT SAC WOULD WIPE OUT RUSSIA; WE HAD THEM TEN TO ONE.
I DON'T THINK THE RUSSIA’S, OUR PUBLIC AND WHITE HOUSE KNEW.
My target was in Russia right over the Black Sea. We would go in low level, at five hundred feet, flying four hundred and twenty knots. I knew I could make it and would drop a good bomb. The target was an airfield near Leninskyi District, Ukraine.~Butch Sheffield
I asked my friend, Robert H, who has written about the RB 47. This was his answer ..Your Dad did indeed see films of a bomb run over the USSR. They were movies of the radar track collected in 1956 when SAC flew 156 overflights of the USSR as part of Operation HOME RUN. Crews used the movies taken by RB-47Es for target study. Eventually U-2 and satellite still images were added for crew familiarization. RAF crews used still photos from the earlier RB-45 JU JITSU overflights.
Following its first flight of on July 3, 1953, the RB-47E went on to perform some of the most sensitive reconnaissance missions of the Cold War. During its service, at least two of these planes were lost flying missions over the Soviet Union. One incident, involving a RB-47E, occurred during a photographic mission over the Soviet Union. The plane was intercepted and fired upon by Soviet MiGs and sustained wing damage. Fortunately, it was able to outrun them at altitude and return to its base in the United Kingdom.
And now you know the rest of the story. Written by Colonel Richard, Butch Sheffield, and paraphrase by his daughter Linda Sheffield..

late trigun stampede ep 7 thoughts
the orphanage is called hopeland... where ur hopes of ww being alive die...
once again wish the character designs were better
i think tristamp is v weird abt comedic timing? trigun's always had goofy little moments in any serious scene, but stampede feels weird for some reason
meryl's faces were cute
vash ran away from wolfwood, to meryl and roberto (without intending to meet them), and turned back around...???
the zazie mouth bit was fun. i think they did that before in the manga but i think it was weird then
ww just has an unlimited supply of those drug things
ww's attitude is still frustrating
and lighter tricks seems a little silly, but idk lol
at least they didnt ditch razlo?
idk why the hell meryl and roberto are there. anime meryl and millie pt 2
livio operating under some... unattached mindset feels lame
vash did nothing while livio killed himself?? anime ww death pt 2
legato seems to have replaced the real chapel, and livio defiitely feels like an entirely different character. stamp legato is trying to make ww how livio was in trimax
ig legato is still weird... but really focused on nick. for some reason
i genuinely cant tell what theyre doing w roberto. at first i was like "why is a lackluster, apathetic drunk replacing milly" but i remembered trigun humanized a character who was an alcoholic very well, so i thought that might happen, but he just seems to occasionally be gifted w perception (though other characters will randomly do it, too, so it doesnt feel exclusive to him), and i cant tell if his "oh, this sucks, let's give up" is supposed to be funny or not?? at first i thought it'd be an act to protect meryl from the more ridiculous events, but he keeps doing it, and its like. what is the point. he is STILL annoying me in ep 7??
none of the main cast is reacting to livio apparently killing himself..? vash spent the entire last ep and half of this one interfering in ww's personal business just to let this guy die when he tries to kill himself lol? mr. "I disapprove of suicide the most"
there's just an entire room of the ship that's left alone?
ww yells so much, he feels like the delinquent/jock anime cliche
did the bad lad gang leave or what... what happened w them lol?? what did they even do before??
it feels like no other characters except the main cast exist. how are there wide shots of the trigun version of a cruise ship and there's no normal people anywhere
the gang really left w/o doing anything 😭??
i think meryl mentioning tonis is good, and she's finally disobeying, but also i cant help but wonder why it took her 4 whole eps to even show she's affected... but i guess its better than nothing ever
FKSDJFSD THEYRE JUST TRYING TO LIFT THAT THING WITH THEIR HANDS??
and legato didnt stop it?
"what about the people on the ship" bitch, what people. they all got raptured
ww is being pretty negative when they just accomplished that feat. i'd absolutely get an ego boost. maybe they can stop the ship w their bare hands too, who knows.
vash doing fucking puppy eyes after ww saying he'll kill him is so funny. it makes no sense. he killed ur pal 2 eps ago
NICK BEING LIKE "IM THE PUNISHER >:( THE PUNISHER >:((" IS SO FUNNY TOO FJSDJS?? why did they make him like this ohmy god
idk why the hell this ep is called wolfwood. in trimax its when he has his first fight w vash over their ideals, and the 2nd is probably when he dies, idk, but neither happens here
its weird in the manga the plant is out of control and vash goes to calm it for the ship, but in stampede its just... there, and he's asking it to like take control of the ship...?
i guess livio isnt dead lol. they did pass his ass though
i cant say i like the plant's design either :( that is a fantasy fairy/mermaid/whatever. not to mention, another instance where the writers cut out the christianity themes. i guess for the next ep there'll be some explanation why vash and knives look different lol, and theres no way this time they were made by humans i guess.
with stampede's pacing so far, i can get why they'd reveal vash isnt human here. there's no way they'd hold out w all their other choices so far.
i also dont like those plant lines. it feels like... idk, a lame idea of how aliens or whatever would look like. i probably just like my aliens like the nge angels or the typhon from prey.
glad the end card isnt sexy ladies this time

Mitsuki Izumi Sugao Rabbit Chat - Part 3: A day of relaxing
Tumblr media
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
Mitsuki: Manager!
Mitsuki: I’ve fulfilled my promise, and performed a hat trick!
Mitsuki:
Tumblr media
Tsumugi: Wow~~! You really did it, as expected of Mitsuki-san!!
Tsumugi:
Tumblr media
Mitsuki: I really didn’t think that I could do it, so I was shocked as well ww
Mitsuki: But it was because I had Tsunashi-san to assist me that I was able to do it! He always passed me the ball with perfect timing! Both of our teams had the same score throughout the game, and in the end I managed to score a goal during the additional time, it feels great~!
Tsumugi: The match sounds intense…!
Mitsuki: Momo-san also managed to score two goals, his physical strength and fitness are still very strong after all.
Mitsuki: Though after the match was over, everyone was super tired ww
Tsumugi: Sounds like everyone had a fun time, that’s amazing to hear!
Tsumugi:
Tumblr media
Tsumugi: Are you back at the dorm now?
Mitsuki: I’ve finished tasting our victory barbeque, so I’ve just arrived at the dorm!
Mitsuki: Although I’m not that drunk, Iori was still very worried about me so he made me some miso soup~!
Tsumugi: As expected of Iori-san…! How considerate!
Mitsuki: Yeah, that really is the case!!!
Mitsuki: My younger brother is capable and considerate and smart, he’s the absolute best~~~~!!
Mitsuki:
Tumblr media
Choices:
Option 1 - Did Iori-san say anything?
Mitsuki: I gave him a big hug the moment I got back to the dorm, so he gave me a puzzled look and asked “Are you drunk!?” and such ww
Mitsuki: He was lecturing me on how I shouldn’t drink too much while pouring me a glass of water!
Option 2 - What flavor was the soup?
Mitsuki: The soup was clam flavored! [1] I think he overheard that I was meeting up with the sports club, and guessed that we would go drinking together before returning home, so he prepared it in advance! It really makes me feel all warm inside~
Option 3 - Did anyone else say anything?
Mitsuki: I think Yamato was also drinking beer alone at home, so we’re both drinking clam miso soup right now ww
Mitsuki: When I showed him the footage of us playing indoor football, he said something along the lines of “You guys sure are full of vigor~” like he’s an old man who’s a shut-in w
Mitsuki: Although I’m about to head to bed soon, the smell of barbeque is still on me, so I have to shower again~
Tsumugi: You said that you have to shower again, does that mean you’ve already showered before returning home?
Mitsuki: Yup, me, Momo-san, and Tsunashi-san went to the sauna together after we were done with our indoor football match!
Mitsuki: The Neppa shi’s [2] service spirit was amazing!
Tsumugi: By Neppa shi, do you mean the person who fans the heat for the people in the sauna?
Mitsuki: Yeah!
Mitsuki: I think he’s a very well-known Neppa shi, he sure is an energetic person www
Mitsuki: He was shouting “1, 2, 3, heave-ho~~!!!” while fanning, I just couldn’t lose to him, so I shouted “Heave-ho~~~!!!” along with him ww
Tsumugi:
Tumblr media
Tsumugi: Is that so!? That feels like it would be very hot…!
Mitsuki: Honestly there was more sweat than when we played indoor football w
Mitsuki: We couldn’t handle it anymore while we were halfway through in the end, so everyone just jumped into the ice bath w
Mitsuki:
Tumblr media
Tsumugi: But you all jumped into the ice bath right after you’ve sweated a lot, it must feel nice!
Mitsuki: Mhmm! It was super nice! Plus we also ate lots of delicious meat! This day off really isn’t too bad.
Tsumugi: Only the showering part is left now then! Please do your best!
Mitsuki: Urk, Iori coincidentally asked me to go shower as well…
Mitsuki: Although I really want to sleep, I will still try my best.
End of part 3
[1] - Clam miso soup is a traditional hangover cure in Japan, from what I found on google!
[2] - I couldn’t really find an English equivalent/word for Neppa shi (熱波師), so I just decided to go with that lol

i would like a so called ‘deranged drabble’ on ww and seokmin in the konstelasi universe…i think seokmin’s twitter birthday post broke me today
I'm overdue to write about them tbh, so thank you for giving me a reason. <3
won&seok, 559w, gen
CHEERS’ rooftop is roaring with laughter and the clinking of glasses. Wonwoo would much prefer a quiet dinner rather than a night out at one of Seungcheol’s bars, but this is one of those compromises one makes when they are in love.
“Happy birthday, hyung.”
He turns to see Seokmin coming over with a beer in hand. Before he accepts the glass, he makes sure to make a mess of Seokmin’s kept hair. “Thanks, kiddo.”
“No, I should be thanking you.”
Oh, he can’t possibly take credit for the open bar. “Mingyu has his hands on the bill. He won’t even let me bring my wallet tonight.”
Seokmin joins him, leaning back against the railing. “I meant for being my brother.”
There’s something odd about how he posed the sentence. “I didn’t really have a choice.”
“Oh, but you did.” Wonwoo follows Seokmin’s line of sight to get some context and finds him staring at Chan. “You did.”
“Hey,” he nudges Seokmin’s leg with his foot, “you know it’s complicated with Jihoon.”
“Sure, but I also know what ‘complicated’ did to Chan.”
Two days ago, Jihoon invited him out for dinner—a farewell of sorts. Minghao showed up when they were one glass of bourbon in, but even if they had not been interrupted, Jihoon probably would still keep his plans upon leaving Seoul to himself.
Seokmin turns to him, looking the second-most solemn Wonwoo has ever seen him. The first wasn’t too long ago, barely a month, in fact, when he came hand-in-hand with Chan to ask for Wonwoo’s blessing for what they wanted to do.
“So, thank you,” he says sincerely. “For sticking around. It would’ve been easier, simpler to leave, but you did everything you could to stay. You listened, too. You always do. Even when I asked you to quit.”
Is being easily overwhelmed a symptom of ageing? Wonwoo feels his throat constricting. He used to be so young, Seokmin. Tall for his age, surpassing Wonwoo by the time they were in middle school, but always cowering behind Wonwoo whenever he spotted a spider in his way. Now he wants to build a life with another person. They always grew up so fast.
“I hope we get to celebrate a hundred more birthdays together,” he adds, bumping his shoulder to Wonwoo’s.
“Seokmin-ah.” Wonwoo turns his gaze to the stretch of shining lights before him. “I don’t know how to tell you this, but I don’t want to live to see 131.” He grins lopsidedly at his brother. “Please put me out of my misery before then.”
Seokmin punches his shoulder, knuckles lacking the force Wonwoo knows they have.
“What will Mingyu-hyung say?”
Right. That’s the thing about love, isn’t it? You stop living entirely for yourself. Mingyu, loyal and brave and devoted Mingyu, senses Wonwoo thinking about him and swivels around to meet his gaze. He raises his eyebrows. Why are you so far away from me? Wonwoo licks his lips. I need a time out. Be right back. Mingyu tilts his head. Better not take long.
“Gross,” Seokmin comments, noticing their silent communication with each other. “Come join us when you need another glass.”
Wonwoo calls him before Seokmin gets too far away to hear him.
“What?”
“Thank you,” Wonwoo smiles, “for being my brother.”
Seokmin nods, pretending like his eyes aren’t misting. “Whatever.”
Kids.

I would like to share some of the pearls that have come from my school-based D&D5e clubs. But I need to give a bit of a background to really get across how proud I am of the group.
We meet Thursday after school from 15:10 (when the last class finishes) until a little after 16:00. It's not the 4+ hours I'm used to for D&D (for understandable reasons) but they're really enjoying it.
The area the school is in means the student body has something like 56% Special Educational Needs and 68% from disadvantaged backgrounds.
When I came up with the idea (before I really understood what SEN and Disadvantaged Backgrounds looked like) I was convinced that I would be teaching them how to run the game themselves. Now we're just playing Lost Mines of Phandelver with me as DM.
What was originally a tricky concept for some of them to grasp (I.e. Roleplay) they've really found their stride this week. So without further ado, here's what happened in the 50mins we had tonight. We only had 3 tonight, aged from 11-14.
Teifling Ranger (TR): What's the cheapest thing on the menu?
Innkeeper: That'll be what the cat's havin'
TR (without consulting the rest of the party): We'll have three of them!
When the cat food arrives, she refuses to pay (the 3cp, they each have 10gp) so ends up washing piles of dishes for 8 hours while the other 2 talk.
Our Woodelf Warlock (WW) gets a fancy salad, while the Dark Elf Rogue (DR) gets a plate of spiders (much to the disgust of the local patrons and the amazement of a few children).
WW & DR plan their next day and talk about a lead they could follow (all in RP, I was very proud!) While TR repeatedly rolls dex checks to see if they get any faster at cleaning (until the very last roll, they did not...and it only took two hours off).
Everyone is scared of DR, not many Drow on the surface, let alone in an Outpost town like Phandalin. Which makes the long pink nightie and fluffy pink slippers as pyjamas a little more ridiculous!
2am hits and TR has finished cleaning and is ready for bed. In the room (where WW and DR are already asleep) there is one bed, and some sacks of grain as extra pillows.
Knock at the door. TR wants to be let in and demands a spot in the bed (that WW and DR) are sharing.
DR (who opened the door in her pink fluffy slippers): I paid for the room, you're sleeping in the floor!
TR: What about her (WW)? I'll push her on the floor!
WW: Try it and get stabbed.
DR: So, it looks like those are your options. Sleep on the floor. Sleep in the hall. Get stabbed.
TR: No...well...how about...
DR: *Slams the door in her face.*
TR goes back downstairs to an empty Inn, realises she has no choice and goes back upstairs to apologise.
In the ensuing discussion we realised, that the reason that TR refused to pay for the food is because she didn't think it was good enough. When the Innkeeper said "what the cat's eating" she heard "what the cap'n's eating!" So she'd done 6 hours worth of dishes because she didn't realise she was ordering cat food 🤣🤣
Oh D&D. Your company may be garbage, but you make for amusing anecdotes!!

Trump Talks About Kim Jong-un
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com, Nov. 16, 2022.--Announcing his 2024 presidential run, 76-year-old President Donald Trump talked about his close relationship to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-up, making Trump the first U.S. president to walk across the DMZ into North Korea.  Trump had a rocky start with Kim, both threatening nuclear war but later came to like each other in a kind of mutual admiration society.  Democrats and the press dismissed Trump’s relations with  Kim as just one dictator to another, a common refrain from the fake news.  Can you imagine the fake news says nothing about 80-year-old President Joe Biden’s sour relations with Russia and China, forget about North Korea?  Since taking office, Biden has trashed decades of relations with Russia and Communist China.   Today, the U.S. has never been closer to WW III with Russia and China, knowing Biden’s Sept. 23 explicit promise to send U.S. troops to defend Taiwan.
All through Trump’s presLOSidency, Democrats and the press criticized him for making secret deals with tyrants around the globe.  “China, Russia, Iran and North Korea were all in check and . . . they respected the United States and quite honestly, they respected me,” Trump said during his 2024 announcement yesterday.  Liberal press organizations take Trump’s words as an egregious boast, attacking him for having inappropriate relations.  Nothing could be more fake news than Trump’s press coverage with U.S. adversaries.  What can the press say now that Biden has killed U.S.-Russian and U.S. Chinese relations?  Talking with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the sidelines of the Bali, Indonesia G20, Biden got little done with Xi.  Agreeing to work on climate change is utterly meaningless compared with Biden’s Sept. 23 statement that he would defend Taiwan with U.S. troops.
When it came Trump, he couldn’t do nothing right, just like today’s reporting on his 2024 announcement.  Not one member of the press agreed that Trump had far better relations with Russia, China and North Korea than Biden.  Biden started off on the wrong foot with China accusing them March 18, 2021 at an Anchorage, Alaska summit of committing genocide against Muslim Uyghurs.  Biden said a day earlier that Putin was a “soulless killer,” wrecking U.S. diplomatic relations with the Kremlin.  Today’s relations under Biden are so bad, Russia considers breaking off diplomatic relations with Washington.  Trump had regular conversations and meetings with Putin, all in the name of finding better ways to get along with U.S. adversaries.  Biden chooses to go to war with Russia to defend Ukraine, something that’s created dire consequences for the U.S. and its allies overseas.
Trump had strong relations with U.S. adversaries while president, working to improve U.S. national security.  When he talks of his strong  relations to Kim, it’s not a boast, but a factual statement that benefited the U.S.  “[I] knew them all well . . . North Korea had not launched a single long-range missile since my summit with Chairman Kim Jong –un near three years before we developed a relationship, and that is good thing.  Not a band thing.  It’s a good thing.  Very good thing actually, Trump said, in his typical colloquianl speech.  Yet the fake news found everything Trump did objectionable.  Does the fake news find anything Biden does objectionable?  When it comes to relations with Russia, China and North Korea, it’s at a low point not seen since the end of WW II.  Biden has trashed relations with Russia, China and North Korea, to show his phony obsession with human rights.
When it comes to today’s U.S. relations with Russia, China and North Korea, things could not get worse unless WW III or nuclear war broke out.  How’s Biden supposed to restore diplomatic relations with Putin when he’s in the middle of a bloody proxy war, using Ukrainian troop to degrade the Russian military.  Biden spilled the beans March 26 in Warsaw, Poland when he said Putin cannot possibly remain in power.  Then four weeks later April 26, Biden’s madness was confirmed by Defense Minister Lloyd Austin when he said April 26 in Ramstein, Germany that the aim of the Ukraine War was to degrade the Russian military to the point it could no longer wage war.  If that’s no a declaration of war, then what is?  Biden has gone over the deep end backing Kiev’s unrealistic bid to take down the Russian Federation.  Biden must do more to end the Ukraine War.
Trump’s relations with foreign leaders were far better than Biden, leaving the U.S. in the worse national security space since WW II.  Decades of practical relations with Russia and China have been trashed by Biden.  If Biden wants to switch things around, he needs to start by ending the U.S. proxy war against the Russian Federation.  All U.S.-Russian diplomacy, including getting WNBA star Brittney Griner out of Russian prison, require a concerted peace effort by Biden. To accomplish that, he needs to inform Zelensky that the war can’t go on indefinitely and must shift to the peace table.  No matter how onerous Zelensky thinks of the Kremlin, he must find a way to end the conflict and get along in the future.  Trump did his part to keep the U.S. economy prosperous and world at peace.  What has Bidien done other that push the world closer to WW III and nuclear war?

Thinking thoughts about endgame battles and opponents in anpk and what they bring to Satoshi’s journey so I’m writing them.
My personal view of “endgame battle” and “endgame opponent” in anpk is that the series in question was constructed around this eventual final battle, that the battle needed to happen for the series to reach its logical narrative conclusion, and that the opponent is a character that was set up from the start and is closely linked to Satoshi throughout the series in question and brings a lot in terms of development as a trainer, challenge, and meaning, etc.
In my view, over the course of anpk, there are exactly three characters that count as endgame opponents (going with my criteria above): Shinji, Kukui, and Dande. (I don’t think there were really any characters like that in OS, AG, BW, and XY. While these series had rival characters and their own rivalries to tell at times, and while there were tough walls to overcome like Jindai in the Battle Frontier, having a specific dynamics that shaped the structure and the direction of a series/functioning as a continuous thread from the beginning to the end actually didn’t happen a lot in the anime.)
In order:
Shinji: The climax of DP was literally their battle at the league etc, as soon as that narrative challenge was concluded, DP ended quickly ww Shinji was set up from the start of DP, he was a recurring rival, he is closely linked to Satoshi throughout the series. Their final battle was the culmination of everything that happened during DP, it was carefully built up and constructed over the years so it would pay off during the league (they had many echos to their past battles in the final one etc). In fact, their rivalry was set up before DP even started: the conflict between Shuu and Haruka towards the end of AG (their talks about complimenting your Pokemon or not just because they did well etc), in a way, set the ground for the upcoming rivalry between Shinji and Satoshi in DP, Shigeru battling Satoshi with an Elekible at the end of AG hinted at Shinji’s final Pokemon to defeat in the league, etc.
Arguably, I would say that that battle was the culmination of the OS to DP era since Satoshi’s whole philosophy as a trainer and methods/views were put at stake there. He had to win and prove everything he built as a trainer there.
Kukui: While Kukui wasn’t exactly introduced as a raibaru at first, it becomes increasingly clear during the series that he is going to be the final opponent in SM. He is Satoshi’s father figure, and he is also his teacher at school. So he is both the mentor/teacher and father to surpass, and that trope is an old one. There is also the fact that he is Royal Mask and Satoshi admires Royal Mask and wants to battle him etc. I think that they had one battle as Royal Mask vs Satoshi (can’t remember how many times they battled right now rip) which ended in Satoshi’s loss and set up the rivalry between Nyabby and Gaogaen? So it set the promise for more to come. Moreover, Kukui’s dream was to make a Pokemon League in Alola. This becomes much more personal for Satoshi once we get to the episode (SM125) where it is revealed that what made this dream possible is that Satoshi and Kukui met when Kukui was a kid, thanks to Celebi sending Satoshi in the past. Satoshi told Kukui about his adventures and leagues and stuff, and it’s thanks to their meeting that Kukui had the dream of hosting the first league in Alola. So it’s only fitting that Satoshi won it and that the series ended with the father and son battle, things coming full circle etc. The battle also functioned as a “graduation ceremony”, especially with Kapu Kokeko being Kukui’s final Pokemon. Kapu Kokeko watched over Satoshi from the beginning ever since he came to Alola, gifted him a Z-Ring, and Satoshi defeated Kapu Kokeko with a Z-Move, poetic cinema etc. So, father vs son, teacher vs student, and Satoshi’s graduation ceremony before he left the school. A battle about their love for battles.
Dande: Dande has been Satoshi’s goal ever since he heard of the tournament and had an unofficial battle with him. Dande is basically Satoshi’s mirror, he is exactly like him, down to the fact that they both have a childhood friend who started as a trainer and ended up taking on the path of a researcher. Shigeru and Sonia are parallels for a reason (and they are both grandchildren of famous researchers, too). (It could even be argued that Dande having a little brother is similar to how Kukui and Burnet totally consider Rei Satoshi’s little brother.) Other than that, their training ep really showed how similar they both are in terms of personalities and outlook towards Pokemon. Sonia described Dande as a big kid who is really into Pokemon (a pkmn baka ww), and this description fits Satoshi as well. Dande is just really how Satoshi could be when he is older. And just like how we see Satoshi in Dande, the latter is reminded of his first days as a trainer when looking at Satoshi. In the PV, this battle was described as the culmination of everything that Satoshi and Pikachu have accumulated through their adventures, so it really encompasses their different journeys as well.
We’ll see how it ends, but I’m liking how elements of past endgame battles are incorporated into this one. And it does feel more meaningful that Kukui and Shinji were specifically brought back in a row to battle Satoshi before the M8. It is definitely intentional and has more weight to it considering all of this. They both represent major parts of Satoshi’s journey, and he had to face them both one more time before the end. Also, Type Wild was played as an insert song during both their battles in DP and SM, so the rule kind of says that it needs to be the same now too. Type Wild really is the endgame battle insert song.
In conclusion (or not), how I see it is that Shinji vs Satoshi (first endgame battle/opponent in the anime) was about overcoming/surpassing the rival (the opposite, the other side of the coin), proving one’s philosophy.
Satoshi vs Kukui was surpassing the father, the mentor, the teacher.
Satoshi vs Dande will be Satoshi surpassing himself (?).
Also, as a last note, it is interesting that Satoshi’s first endgame opponent was someone who was the complete opposite of himself (Shinji, two sides of the same coin etc), and now, the current one (Dande) is someone who is a reflection of himself. It is really that deep.

wonwoo + childhood friends to lovers?? maybe some jealousy involved on woos side eliciting a confession?❤️❤️
home | j. ww.
pairing: wonwoo x g.n. oc genre: fluff warnings: none (please tell me if i missed anything!) word count: 1.3k
💌: thank you for requesting dear anon! i hope you really like this :’) so much wonwoo content if you haven’t noticed by now and i’m living for it! thank you again! please do tell me what you think <3
Wonwoo thinks of himself as a coward for not swallowing his pride and reservations in telling you the truth. The truth about how much he is so in love with you,  it’s making it difficult for him to physically breathe. He hasn’t planned on confessing yet, but as the days go by, he thinks he’s running out of time. And even though he still sees you every day and you still keep him around, it's not enough. It’s not enough that he’s not holding your hands like he wants to or kissing you senseless like he wishes to.
It’s not enough that he can’t love you more than just a friend.
 “Wonwoo?”
You have been trying to get the boy’s attention for the past minute because it’s starting to concern you how much he’s spaced out. You have already tapped his shoulder, poked his cheek and even tickled his side. But to no avail, he was just staring at his book and sighing defeatedly.
“Wonwoo?” You shake him again and finally, he looks at you.
“Oh?” Wonwoo leans close and gives his glasses clad eyes to you. “What’s wrong?”
You sadly smile, bringing a hand up to fix his fringe. “Don’t you think I should be asking you that? You’ve been distracted ever since we got here.”
You and Wonwoo never created a schedule to study together, but by some unknown force, you always gravitated towards each other. It usually just takes one text message or one call and you’d be meeting at the university’s library in no time. Maybe, it’s a thing to be in sync with your childhood friend. You’re not sure, but you’re not ruling out the possibility.
You and Wonwoo became friends when you just turned six years old and he was already nine. The two of you are next door neighbors, even up to now. Both of your parents became friends in an instant, automatically drawing you close to the shy boy with ease. He was timid and reluctant at first, but eventually he warmed up to you.
The two of you were at each other’s side growing up. Attended the same school and always hang out afterwards despite the fact that he’s ahead of you. Went to the same playground. Ate at the local street food stands. Played at the only arcade established in the neighborhood. All of those done, together.
It’s not that difficult to keep communication lines open and connection intact most especially when your bedroom windows are both adjacent. It’s a little bit unbelievable, but you and Wonwoo saw the different phases of your lives through those windows. You saw him escape through that window to play computer games with Woozi once. On the other hand, he saw you through that window dancing to one of your favorite songs. No hints of embarrassment. You even developed a code where there’s a number of knocks on the glass that will indicate your identities. You can enter at the main entrance of course, but this is special between the two of you.
Well puberty was a different chapter and the two of you may or may not have distanced for quite a while. But, your friendship triumphed over the trials.
Several people have asked if you have feelings for your friend. And several times, you denied. Likewise, Wonwoo has had his fair share of nosy people. It’s a conversation that you two have already talked about a year into college. The two of you were awfully awkward in denying, but shrugged it off nevertheless. By far, no one has asked again ever since.
It didn’t affect your friendship, but a shift definitely happened. Like, the two of you became hyper aware of each other’s presence and actions. Casual gestures became lingering touches. Casual nicknames became specially endearing (that no one else is allowed to say them).
You could say this friendship also became something more as well.
Wonwoo’s heart skipped a beat at the warm sensation of your hand. He plays it cool and scratches the back of his neck, a habit he does when he becomes nervous.
You take notice of that, making you conclude that there’s really something wrong.  “Is there something that’s bothering you?”
Your friend sighs for the nth time and slumps on the open books he has failed to study. Wonwoo’s afraid to ask and he doesn’t even know if he really should. But, he has to get this out of his chest one way or another. “Are you really going on that study date with Jeonghan?”
Suddenly? You frown, confused as to where this is coming from.
You answer him nonetheless. “Yes. You know I can’t fail this class, right? Jeonghan seemed to be the ace and he’s willing to teach me for free.”
“I can tutor you too, you know?” Wonwoo’s pouting now.
You grin and lean your arms on your notes, mirroring his position. You teasingly narrow your eyes at him and he looks away, annoyed at your antics. “But you don’t have this class in your program, remember?”
“And so?” Wonwoo asks, eyes boring back to you at lightning speed. “Doesn’t mean I don’t have good knowledge about the subject.”
You smirk. Yes, Wonwoo is a coward, but you’re confident. You’re confident with how you have found the only person you’re still friends with since childhood. You’re confident with how you found the only person to teach you how to ride a bike and play computer games. You’re confident with how you found the only person you want to grow old with.
And, you’re confident with how you found Jeon Wonwoo as the only person’s initials you would allow to be at home inside your heart.
“I smell jealousy,” you state the obvious for him. “Can you confirm that for me, Mr. Jeon?”
Wonwoo was a coward. But not this time anymore.
Your eyes widen when he suddenly stands up, chair scraping against the wooden floor. What he does next almost made you topple over, but your tight grip on the table kept you grounded. Wonwoo gently holds your chin between his fingers and softly presses his lips against yours.
Wonwoo is kissing you.
Suddenly, you’re not so confident anymore. Your breath hitches for a short second, but you relax immediately after. You close your eyes and eagerly return his kiss.
“Uh, guys?”
Wonwoo immediately pulls away and stands straight while you cast your eyes down and pretend to read your notes. Idiot, you scold yourself. There’s nothing wrong with what you just did. Why are we acting like we just committed a crime?
Just like that, the magical moment bursted like a bubble due to Jeonghan's appearance.
Jeonghan clears his throat and looks between the two of you, back and forth. “You can continue, you know? I'll come back when Y/N’s ready.”
“No!” You and Wonwoo shout in unison and everyone in the library is hissing and shushing.
“Woah.” Jeonghan raises his hands. “No need to be angry.”
“No, I mean,” you stutter, finding the right words to say before holding the hand of the man who just kissed you. “Wonwoo will tutor me instead.”
Wonwoo blinks in surprise, but gets the message and holds your hand back tightly. “Yeah. I’m- I’ll handle it from here.”
“You know you can just tell me that you have a date, right? Why are you two acting like I don’t know what relationships are,” Jeonghan complains with a roll of his eyes before turning around and walking away.
You and Wonwoo release a breath of relief, eyes meeting. You couldn’t hold your giggle meanwhile he couldn’t hide the growing smile on his face. You bite your lip and gaze up at him. He fondly caresses the back of your hand and tilts his head, a gesture you clearly know the meaning of.
“How about we do go on that date Jeonghan’s talking about?”
Your face warms, in love. “I’d love to.”

hello!! could i kindly request for a student campus crush! wonwoo hehe and you’re best friends and have unrequited feelings but u dont know if he feels the same so over a sleepover u tried confessing and you can continue from there hehe -🐼
let me hear you say | j. ww
✎ pairing: best friend!wonwoo x female reader
✎ genre: collegel!au, friends to lovers!au, mostly fluff
✎ warnings: none!
✎ wc: 2.40 k words
✎ notes: hi 🐼 anon! i got a little carried away with this one because soft, cuddly wonwoo makes my stomach do flips but i hope you like it! i'm not sure how i feel about my portrayal of yn here because i wanted them to be really supportive of wonwoo but kind of having a hard time because of their feelings towards him. i hope i was able to express that without portraying them as kind of eh :/
Tumblr media
“Don’t you ever get tired?” You take a quick glance at your best friend as he folds up another piece of paper with a phone number written on it.
“Of what?”
“Of everyone in this school falling head over heels for you,” You say like it’s the most obvious thing in the world, proceeding to look back down at your notes. In reality, you were trying to prevent yourself from looking at the cute (albeit, confused) way your best friend was staring at you over your abrupt question.
“Well I can’t say I’m not flattered, but there aren’t really that many people yn,”
A total lie, you think to yourself. Every time you two walked around campus, your best friend attracted the adoring stares of all your classmates like some hotshot celebrity. Yes, he was popular, and yes, he totally deserved it, but if everyone knew how dorky he was, maybe they wouldn’t be so quick to hand him their number after a single conversation.
Another lie, if everyone knew what a nerd Jeon Wonwoo actually was, they’d probably fall for him harder. You would know of course, first hand experience taught you a lot of things.
It taught you how endearing it was when Wonwoo wore oversized clothing, so that he could pull the sleeves over his palms when sipping on a hot drink at the local campus cafe. It made you realize his habit of pushing his glasses up his nose, because he was too stubborn to get the bridge adjusted. It made your insides melt whenever he was nervous because he had a habit of fiddling with his fingers. You were certain that if anyone was completely head over heels and absolutely smitten by him, it was definitely you.
“Not many people my ass,” you scoffed, “you spoke to her once, just once! And now you are holding her number.” Wonwoo laughs at your poor attempt at hiding your annoyance, “For your information, we were talking about a group project, and exchanging contact information. Nothing more, and nothing less.”
You gave a little huff before going back to pretend-studying, you definitely couldn’t focus when he was sitting right across from you. You knew you were more prone to jumping to conclusions nowadays, and you hoped that Wonwoo didn’t notice your shift in behaviour. In reality, you couldn’t help but feel a little pang of worry whenever your best friend was asked out on another date. And while he rejected the offer every time, you worried that one day he might say yes and you could lose him forever.
Not that you were against Wonwoo falling in love someday. If he found a good person that he wanted to be with for the rest of his life, you would support him in a heartbeat. It was just the selfish feeling that blossomed in your chest that prevented you from feeling any true happiness for these kinds of situations, and you hated it.
You knew that he would never abandon you completely, because Wonwoo was the best friend you could ever ask for. But you also knew that it would kill you inside to see him sweep someone else off their feet.
You’ve known Wonwoo since high school, and you definitely harboured a puppy crush on him all of first year. This was back when he was still trading pokemon cards in the gym stairwell and poking at you to buy him something from the milk vending machine. The crush went away eventually and you found yourself enjoying the rest of your high school career with your closest confidant by your side.
Once you both entered university, Wonwoo had a sudden growth spurt that now put him a total head taller than you. He no longer lurked at the stairwells during lunch and instead made lots of new friends that he went out for coffee with. He started dressing nicer, and once he exchanged his old glasses for a pair of round silver ones that rested on his nose so perfectly, he instantly transformed into someone straight out of a kdrama.
Now, you have caught feelings again. And you’re scared to admit that this time a puppy crush doesn’t even encapsulate everything you’ve been feeling lately. Of course Wonwoo’s sudden change in appearance didn’t spark anything new in your feelings towards him. It was the fact that he had a new air around him that was just completely different.
Wonwoo in high school was shy, and you loved him for who he was. You two had your own small circle of friends and you would spend all your time reading or playing games in his bedroom. Wonwoo in college however, was breaking out of his shell and being the first to approach people and make new friends. He was still introverted of course, shyness and introvertedness were two different things after all. But you were proud to see Wonwoo take the initiative to make plans more often and reach out.
Wonwoo has also gotten a lot more comfortable around you. He’s grown fond of resting his head on your shoulder after a long day of classes, and wrapping you in his sweaters whenever you came by his flat. In conclusion, everything about university student Wonwoo, was driving you, (and probably the entire campus) crazy.
“Hello? yn? Don’t you have a class soon?”
You swat away the hand that was waving in front of your face to meet the eyes of the cause of all your heart troubles. One smile from Wonwoo and you were in shambles. You had it really, really bad. “Right, right, sorry I was just...distracted.”
“We’re still on for tonight right? You can just head straight to my dorm after your last class.”
“Of course Won, did you really think I was going to miss out on another rewatch of Extraordinary You?”
“Of course not,” Wonwoo chuckled. You were met with another one of those soft gazes from him, and you immediately tried to break your stare. Something in your heart tells you that you should just confess right now, and that Wonwoo was a sensible individual who wouldn’t let go of your friendship if he didn’t feel the same way.
“Hey Won, can I tell you something after class later?”
“Of course.” There was that smile again. If you weren’t so busy trying to slow your heart rate down, you would have caught the way his eyes brightened at hearing your question, and the way he looked down to twindle with his fingers.
You give Wonwoo your own smile before heading off to your last detour of the day.
Tumblr media
Sleepovers with Wonwoo always consisted of a mountain of blankets, a never ending pile of snacks and a show to watch before eventually both of you fell asleep. When you arrived at his flat just as he was adding the finishing touches to a home cooked dinner, you realized that sleepovers with Wonwoo also consisted of another thing: Your tragic inability to keep your heart rate down.
“Dinner will be ready in a bit, you can just wash up and get changed for now,” Wonwoo turns to greet you before adding some pepper to the tteokbokki.
You nod and head over to his bathroom, where you already find your change of clothes resting on the counter. Any outsider would have been under the impression that you and Wonwoo lived together, considering that pieces of you were scattered all over his apartment. From the matching toothbrushes that were kept by the sink, to the drawer reserved only for your clothes in his bedroom.
The only reason that you and Wonwoo didn’t room together upon entering university, was the fact that your parents were wary of you rooming with a boy you weren’t even dating. Not that it mattered now, considering that you at least spent two nights at his place away from your own dorm.
After you showered and changed into your pajamas, you realized that Wonwoo had given you one of his sweaters to wear, instead of the usual shirts you slept in. Usually you would have raided his bedroom after dinner to steal one (you slept much better when you wore his clothing) but this time it appeared that he had taken the initiative for you.
Once you stepped out of the bathroom, you saw that Wonwoo was already sitting at the dining table and was on his phone. It looked like he was texting someone, and you felt your heart sink a little when he laughed at a message. No, you are not going to be jealous. You are going to be happy for your friend because he deserves all the happiness in the world.
“Is that the girl from your group project?” You sat down across from him and started piling the tteokbokki and rice onto your plate. “Yeah, she said that the professor just sent out a mass email to our class, saying that we were going to be given an extension. Turns out that email was meant for another course, but everyone is already celebrating the new deadline.”
Wonwoo shuts off his phone and turns to you, “Was there something you wanted to tell me today?”
Right. You were going to confess your feelings. It was now or never, and you weren’t sure if you could hold it in much longer. “I can just tell you after dinner, I’m starving.”
Tragic. Tragic. Tragic. Why couldn’t you just say the words, “Hey Won, I have feelings for you, do you feel the same way?” Must you be in a spiraling paradox of questioning the presence of unrequited love in the relationship you had with your best friend? Yes, most definitely yes. Since the world likes to make everything difficult for those in love.
Dinner was eaten in a comfortable silence for the most part. You liked that you never felt the need to fill the air with more conversation whenever you were with Wonwoo. There were days where you would just sit in each other’s presence and do your own thing, and those days left you with lots of time to ponder on your feelings for him. Tonight was the night that you were going to say these feelings aloud for the first time...you just needed a bit more time to procrastinate.
After you both finished your food, you relocated yourselves to the couch. You fidgeted with the end of your (his) sweater while Wonwoo searched for the show on Netflix. You figured that you would let him know in the morning, since there was a chance that you two would fall asleep before the episode ended. And you didn’t want to confess beforehand either, in fear of having to endure a brutal one hour of awkward tension if he didn’t feel the same way.
“Who would have thought that out of all the days the wifi could have chosen to bail on us, they chose the day where we were going to find out whether Haru belonged to Dan-oh’s story or not,” Wonwoo fiddles with the remote some more, while you panic in silence at the thought of spending the night with no distractions from your feelings.
“It’s not like we don’t already know how it ends,” You take deep quiet breaths to calm yourself down, you can definitely make it through the night, “We can just do other things.”
“What do you have in mind?”
You couldn’t answer him right away. The only thing you had on your mind was the fact that Wonwoo’s hand was now resting on your knee and that it was baffling how good he could look in pajamas. Wonwoo, sensing your inability to form words nervously glanced up at you before moving the conversation in a different direction, “Look, I know you had something to tell me today yn, but I realized that I wanted to share something with you too. I am in love-”
“I am in love with you Jeon Wonwoo!”
There. You blurted out a long-awaited confession before the anticipation consumed you whole. You couldn’t tear your eyes away from your hands in fear of seeing the look on Wonwoo’s face.
“Let me hear you say it again.”
“What?” You turn to Wonwoo, who no longer looked nervous. Instead, he wore the biggest shit-eating grin on his face that made you want to both kiss and strangle him. “Say it again.”
“Not when you look like you just won the lottery you nerd, you didn’t even say-”
“I am in love with you too yn.”
Well, you were never one to complain about the fact that your feelings were returned. But the way Wonwoo was cooing at your adorable expression of shock only made you want to shove him off the couch.
Which you proceeded to do.
“Hey! Aren’t you happy that I like you too?”
“Of course I’m happy! You didn’t have to try to beat me to my confession though, tonight was going to be my night!”
“You didn’t seem like you were going to say anything for the rest of the evening! You were going to wait until the next day weren’t you?”
Absolutely yes. “No!”
Any remaining tension in the atmosphere washed away as you and Wonwoo made fun of each other on the living room floor. You were beyond relieved and a little giddy that your best friend in the whole wide world saw you in the way that you saw him.
“But on a more serious note Won, were you also going to confess tonight too?”
“Actually no, but once you came out of the washroom wearing my sweater, I just had to say it before I tackled you with cuddles or something.”
“You gave me your sweater instead of my clothes to wear!”
“I know!” Wonwoo was holding your hand now and rubbing circles into your palm. The idea of cuddling the entire night didn’t sound so bad. “But you looked all nervous and shy and I was hoping that you were going to be the one to say something first.”
“Can we just agree that we confessed at the same time?” As the adrenaline from the confession began to slip away you suddenly became very tired, and you were hoping to just spend the night in the arms of your favourite person.
“Deal. So can we cuddle now?”

Hellooooo! I know it's been a while since i asked something buuuut since i am literally living of of forgetful y/n ima request something!!
Since we saw how meeting up with the chaos crew would go i wants to know how y/n would be with Phil and actually meeting up with mr. Minecraft because i need a little bit of dadza in my life rn.
Thank you! 👑 Anon
absolutely! here is some forgetful!y/n n philza content 🤲
Part 1 // part 2 // part 3 // part 4 // part 5 // part 6 // part 7 // part 8
everything the same as past parts! also in case it isn't obvious, y/n is a minor, this is a platonic piece! he's like a dad figure :)
Also sorry it's a bit short this is all I could think of :')
let's state the obvious; old jokes (even though you know he's not that old, just to annoy him)
THE FANS FIND IT FUNNY BC YOURE SO GOOD AT SMOOTHLY SNEAKING THEM INTO CONVERSATIONS??
you remember stuff by having things from that time! you won't remember much or in detail, but you'll remember vague snippets n the feelings! you're pretty open about this – proud of the fact that you found something you can do to remember at least a little bit – so Philza makes sure to get you something, maybe a few things!
he doesn't make it a big deal either, just kinda hands it to you and says it's yours! you, wanting to remember the day(s), kept the object with you the whole time, ensuring the memory stuck with it :)
when you got back home you put it on your shelf for all the important memory things! :D for the smaller memory things (both literally and in significance) you have two small boxes, one already being full, save for a few areas for only tiny things
you were gonna do the run jump thing you did with bench trio but you didn't wanna break his fragile old man bones </3 /j /lh
you'd probably do more out-of-the-house things with Phil than you did with BenchTrio
If you forget where you are with Phil, you don't even need to say anything, he'll notice your shift in behavior from running around and being loud to sticking close and talking less and immediately know, he heard you and ranboo talk about your meetup with him and you forgetting where you were was one of the stories
Phil will immediately get off course from where you were going and take you to an area with less people to try and calm you down without the loud noises of people talking and without people looking at you weird
he's not great with initiating physical touch, but if it helps you not freak out you can grab his shirt/sleeve/hand if you need! eventually he'll get the hint that touch helps calm you down and just automatically put his hand on your shoulder when you start to freak out because you forgot your surroundings
if that happens he's absolutely asking you if you'd like to go back home/wherever you're staying!! also asks you what can calm you down during those times before they even happen :)
*you freaking out bc you forgot your surroundings, holding onto the back of Phil's shirt as he leads you to a quieter area*
fan: hey can I get a pic ?
you: ( ? ´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥n°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥)
Phil: oh uh, not right now we're in a bit of a hurry ! ;
You saw that fan on twt later and it was kinda funny bc they were like "GUYS I THINK I MESSED UP I DIDNT NOTICE S/N WAS IN A PANIC AND ASKED FOR A PIC AND PHIL TOLD ME THEY WERE BUSY 😭😭"
Even funnier that you replied "hey hey no issue! Thank you for understanding, and sorry you didn't get a pic here's one for you :)" and attached a pic of yourself you took (with the face covering ofc, you're still faceless after all)
Phil wouldn't talk about it, maybe off hand "oh, yeah I remember that" comment if another person mentions it, if you mention it he'll ask if it's happened anymore since you got back and if you're ok
Talking through donations with Wilbur and occasionally the others on Phil's streams !! It's fun !!!!
One time you and Wilbur were just doing "meow" over and over again and Phil got annoyed and turned off donations for a bit :')
SPEAKING OF U N WIL I FEEL LIKE FANS WOULD MAKE A WHOLE NEW FAM DYNAMIC FOR YOU + SLEEPY BOYS CALLED LAVANDER CREW BC LAVANDER HELPS CALM PPL DOWN BUT ISNT NESSICARILLY SLEEPY
Bro someone made a comic series of the group and it's called Lavander Lounge!!! U stayed updated and the artist was just like o..omg o.oh ww..w.hat.what
Taglist; @cvsmixplant @l0ver0fj0y @youngstarfishdinosaur @icarusthefoolish @ophelia-enthusiast @decay-as-a-life-form @xxtwizztedxx @akio-akina-writes @qrimbarkk @milkydisaster @xx-smiley-xx

I've seen a lot of fanon content about Jason being a fan of Wonder Woman. This is even acknowledged in #6 "Favoritism" in The Wayne Family Adventures web comic. Is there any evidence of this in Canon?
According to my memory, the closest thing that Jason has to an interaction with Wonder Woman was simply that he was on good terms with Donna Troy in post-Crisis Teen Titans. Or am I missing something?
Based on your interpretation of Jason, what do you think Red Hood thinks of Wonder Woman?
Oh! So, that’s why I have been seeing that concept floating around recently! The whole “Jason is a fan of Wonder Woman” thing had died down a little bit and now it was back and that might me corelated to that fandom concept making an appearance in the web comic…
Hmm, yeah, that concept is completely fanon, I mean, I don’t remember Jason acting like WW’s fan in his Robin years but he did meet her once (I will talk about that issue later on in this post because maybe that is where this fanon concept originated from. In his Red Hood years, I can’t say that he has mentioned WW as an inspiration or favourite hero (I will also talk about why that idea seems kinda weird to me too).
Jason did interact with Diana, it was in Superman (1939) Annual #11, I will show some of the panels that have Jason and Diana interacting (as Robin and Wonder Woman) and all that but from that comic that they shared I didn’t really see Jason as a fan of WW, he was respectful and he worried for her safety when she seemed to have been hurt but that was all, Jason was just being his usual sweet self. If anything, in that issue we were shown how much Jason cared for Bruce.
Something that I will bring up because you mentioned Jason’s interactions with Donna is that the Superman annual, I mentioned came out in September, 1985 and those New Teen Titans issues where Jason appeared in along Donna came out in May, 1986 (NTT #20, the first team up) and December, 1986 (NTT #26, the second time he joined the team). So, Jason, met Diana before he met Donna, I would honestly say that Robin Jason was actually more marvelled by Donna rather than Diana. Donna was a Titan and Dick’s friend and Jason really seemed to admire her up until a certain moment in one of those issues, I think you read those posts about Jason teaming up with the Titans but I will link them here anyway (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), in case anyone wants to red them and for you guys to tell me if you see, like me, that Jason seemed to admire Donna more than Diana in the Superman issue I will talk about next.
Superman Annual #11
Jason and Bruce arrive to the Fortress of Solitude to celebrate Clark’s birthday, and that’s when Jason and Diana met for the first time, Diana even didn’t react much to Jason at the start because she thought that he was Dick! I don’t blame her; Jason and Dick look the same most of the time to me when they are in their Robin suits.
After she kisses him in the cheek, we get to see what Jason has to say about Diana, he is just worried Diana is feeling cold in the snow while wearing those shorts, now, I thought that was just an innocent thing that he said but apparently Bruce took it as Jason checking out Diana. Because I believe that Jason was the sweetest boy, I think that he just meant that Diana could have been cold and Bruce was the one having impure thoughts about her… I mean, after Bruce says that to Jason, he looks confused as all hell, to me he looks like he thinks that Bruce misunderstood his intentions with what he said.
Tumblr media
So, to me, Jason really didn’t seem to be starstruck by Diana or Clark later on either.
Diana is talking to Jason like she talks to Bruce, she asks him about if he met Superman before, and he answers, all in all they have normal conversations and Jason still doesn’t seem like he is meeting his favourite hero. When Diana starts to talk only to Bruce, Jason doesn’t seem affected by that and he is the one that first notices the problem with the Superman that they are about to meet.
Tumblr media
This isn’t a review of the issue, so I will explain as quickly as possible what was going on. Batman, Robin and Wonder Woman showed up at Superman’s place to celebrate his birthday and bring him some gifts but when they see him, they notice that he had been attacked by a weird looking plant that left him paralysed and trapped inside his own mind world. When they try to free him from it, Mongul (the villain) appears and Jason, once again, is the first one to notice his approach!
(Robin Jason was excellent at his job Lobdell and Zdarsky! Look at this shit, and keep on looking because Robin Jason saves the Trinity’s ass in this issue by himself!)
The fight starts with Mongul and WW, and after he throws her out of the room and it seems that the fight isn’t going in WW’s favour, we see Jason being worried for her safety but is quickly dismissed by Bruce who tells Jason not to worry because Mongul threw WW into the weapons room.

Due to that Jason moves on with Bruce to help Superman once more. Bruce asks Jason to retrieve Mongul’s gloves so he can remove the plant from Superman’s chest but all of the sudden the plant comes off, sadly, the plant only did that to insert itself in Bruce’s body. This is where we see Jason being incredibly worried for Bruce’s safety, because he cared so much he moved past his fear, grabbed those globes and took it upon himself to rip the plant off of Bruce’s chest and make a plan to defeat Mongul while the Trinity was being taken out one by one!
I know this is a post about Jason and Diana but I just can’t help be proud about my boy, he was such a good Robin, I can’t believe DC has lied so much about Jason’s abilities as Robin so much that most people believe that Jason was a bad Robin. What a horrible narrative to push about one of your characters, I swear I don’t understand DC’s thinking.

Anyway, after Jason gets the job done (with a little help from Superman) he and the others chat for a little while and then get together to get some coffee while Clark cleans the mess that Mongul made.

That’s all that happens in the issue where Jason and Diana met, their interactions seemed normal and respectful but Jason never looked like he was a big fan of Diana, as I said before all that was shown was that he cared for people when they were being hurt and he also showed how much he cared for Bruce.
Now if you ask me, I believe that Jason only saw Batman and Dick as his heroes. Jason always looked like he looked up to Batman until he started to feel a strain between them and then Jason acted like a true fan of Dick both times that Dick gave him his Robin suit, and I say that Dick was a hero to Jason because Jason showed sings of admiring Dick’s Robin AND Dick’s Nightwing.

I might be wrong but it does look to me like Jason was a bigger fan of Dick rather than Diana in those panels compared to Superman Annual #11.
Now, going back to what you actually asked, this is the only interaction between Jason and Diana that comes to mind and the one that I believe might have originated that fanon concept. There is though another moment that might have fed that concept but it is not really an interaction between Jason and Diana, but between Jason and Donna from Earth-15 that looked exactly like Diana in Countdown to Infinite Crisis #30.

The people that appear in that panel in the Wonder Woman and Batman suits are actually Donna Troy and Jason Todd from Earth-15. I really don’t know if that issue really fed into the Jason being a fan of WW but if it did, then that wasn’t Diana, that was Donna.

To answer your other question “Based on your interpretation of Jason, what do you think Red Hood thinks of Wonder Woman?”, I would say that while I can see Robin Jason having been a fan of hers (even though it was never shown in canon as far as I know), I really don’t see Red Hood Jason as a fan of Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman stands for many things, among them we have truth, justice and peace. When Jason first became the Red Hood, he was seeking justice but not in others, he was the one that was judge, jury and executioner. As time passed by Jason didn’t really fight for justice but for “the cause”, in New 52 he had that whole “chosen one” thing with the All-Castle, so, his fight against drugs and the creeps of Gotham (and other places) kinda stopped, and then in Rebirth it kinda come back but also didn’t.
That sense of justice that I know is so important to Jason’s Red Hood makes a comeback in Urban Legends: Cheer (Yeah… it was awfully written but that sense of justice did make an appearance finally).
So, on the justice side I can sort of see Jason admiring Diana but not really because Jason is also jury and executioner and Diana has never been that and she doesn’t stand for that at all (at least not as far as I know). Diana doesn’t kill and she is always trying to give people a second chance, she believes in humanity and hopes that we will be better.
Jason, the way I see it, doesn’t see the world like that, I strongly believe he has a darker and more pessimistic way of looking at humanity and the horrors that we can put others through.
The way I see it, I could see Jason admiring the fact that Diana keeps on her faith in humanity and she seeks justice in a pacific way but I also don’t really think Jason cares about how Wonder Woman sees the world. Like, it can work either way in my mind, and I never really though of Jason actually being a Wonder Woman fan, maybe I can see him acting like Thor when he met Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarök, in that movie Thor was just excited to meet a Valkyrie, maybe Jason was just excited to meet an Amazon!
Jason has had several interactions with Amazons, (Diana, Donna and Artemis) so that makes me believe that if Jason is a fan of anyone, it would actually be strong warrior women and not just simply Wonder Woman.
I don’t know, to me it makes sense, Jason has always been protective of women that could not defend themselves but also saw strength in them, like he saw it in Judy in Batman #422 when she killed the man that had murdered her sister. And later on he saw power and strength in both Donna and Kory when he fought alongside the Titans.
So, I would actually say that Red Hood isn’t a fan of Wonder Woman but I believe he is a fan and supporter of wonderful women.
There is my answer friend! I hope you have a wonderful day!
