We talk about how much James loved but we rarely talk about how much Lily loved.

Lily loved Snape, contrary to popular belief from both marauders stans and Snape stans, maybe not romantically but she still loved him, Lily loved Snape the way James loved Peter, Lily loved Snape and their falling out has never been talked about enough.

She watches him for a moment, his mouth moving without speaking, snow collected in his hair, tears almost frozen down his cheeks. She feels an intense urge to go over to that man and comfort him. To tell him it will get better. But she doesn’t. She stands from a distance and watches. She stands there for a good half an hour, waiting, not even sure for what. The man leaves, his head angled down, hands in his pockets. Petunia watched the retreating figure with sadness. She turns to leave to, casting one last look over the cemetery, figuring she’ll mourn in her own way. And she leaves. And never returns. And she thinks about that man from time to time. And hopes he is doing better now. She never finds out where her sisters grave is, or that Remus Lupin is now buried next to the graves he sat by for so long.

My opinion

People say the reason that I hate Jily is because I ship Jegulus which is not true. I dont ship it because in my heart she is a lesbian that is what i believe. Lily was always different Petunia hated her and called her a freak her own sister who she loved her parents did not understand her and at school she was called a mudblood and bullied because of it. Everyone was expecting her to date James Potter but she spent 7 years rejecting him not because he bullied snape although it might be part of something but because she was lesbian and she already had a lot of people who hated her. Her one long time friend stabbed her in the back while she was trying to help him and called her a mudblood. So I think she married James because she knew that he would stay unlike everyone else in her life

"go east" by xinasvoice is a wolfstar howls moving castle au, literally need i say more [completed, 11 chapters, 84k words]

"threes family" and it's sequel "eights company" by darkbluedark, im obsessed with marauders time travel fics if you couldn't tell [threes family is complete, 5 chapters, almost 20k words; eights company is a wip, 3 chapters, 15k words]

"the golden king" by maladaptivewriting, another time travel fic!! jegulus, wolfstar, drarry, regulus being a slayboss icon as per usual [wip, but already has 123 chapters and almost 500k words]

"like real people do" by arins_writings has jegulus, wolfstar, dorlene, time travel (yippie!!!), enemies to lovers, forced (ish) proximity and all sorts of shit that makes my autism happy [completed, 60 chapters, 201k words. sequel is a wip, 6 chapters, 16k words]

"into the dark" by phantomgrimalkin another time travel fic!!! wolfstar, jily, drarry, bastard rat ass motherfucker albus dumbledore [complete, 20 chapters, 88k words]

"(i will) wear you down" by rainiris is an amazing motherfucking concept, really slow updates but is absolutely worth it. jegulus, wolfstar, marylily, dorlene, past jily (and harry!), basically regulus fakes his death but james goes looking for him, the cutie patootie [wip, 18/32 chapters, 121k words]

"you only live twice" by drift99 is also really good, it's wolfstar, jily (jegulily later on ehehe), polyamory time travel bullshit (literally my favourite kind of bullshit). remus and hermione saving the world, underrated friendship tbh [completed, 47 chapters, 95k words]

"anti-hero" by rweoutofthewoods has jegulus, wolfstar, bamf regulus, moonwater friendship!!! regulus fakes his death, but remus finds him. platonic soulmates istg. also has marylily but it doesn't end well for them :((… [completed, 41 chapters, 237k words]

"dear your holiness" by mollymarymarie is basically, at it's barest bones, a wolfstar fleabag au. priest remus lupin, modern au, sorta-partly-kinda texting fic, very very sacrilegious, and a happy ending! [completed, 12 chapters, 142k words]

"saccharine" by moonymoment is a sweet little (maybe not little, but shorter than my usual 100k+ word fics) wolfstar modern ghost au! background jily, happy ending, basically sirius is a ghost that haunts remus' apartment and its really domestic

I LOVE ANTI HERO SO SO MUCH DUDE like I remember reading it last year and not putting my phone down until it was done, it's a PROBLEM. Hi! I'm Arlow, I use he/him pronouns, and I'm trans (as you might've guessed from my @.

I'm a marauders fan, but would like to make it clear I think Terf-K Rowling is a bad person, with bad opinions, and I also believe that these bad opinions are deeply ingrained in her works. In running a marauders blog, I want to take back something Joanne has built her name and fame on; Harry Potter. If you'll remember, she was so mad at Wolfstar gaining popularity she tried to sue. It's not a well kept secret that she doesn't like the fandom engaging in ships that imply her characters to be queer. I also just like the dynamics they've built and personalites that this fandom has attributed to characters.

That being said, I ship a lot of gay ships (rosekiller, wolfstar, bitchkiller, quillkiller, moonrosekiller, bartylus, and jegulus, just to name a few), and a lot of them involve death eaters. I know there is a lot of discourse around that in the fandom, and to that I say; it's not that deep. It truly isn't. Me thinking two wizards kissing isn't pushing some sort of narrative, or harming anyone.

All of that out of the way, my OTPs are Rosekiller, Wolfstar, Pandalily and Quillkiller. I don't hate Jegulus but it's not my favorite. My favorite fic as of now is a split between Ant Pile (a rosekiller fic) and To the Boy Who... (a jegulus fic). I also write fics on Ao3 and mostly just babble about my random fandom thoughts on here.

I also occasionally get political. I'm an anarchist. I support all civil rights, I think trans people should have acess to gender affirming care. I'm pro reparations, and anti AI. I hate capitalism but will admit I don't have all the answers to another type of system. If you can't get behind that, the block button is always open.

headcanon abt how the slytherin skittles actually became a friend group

so evan and pandora are siblings, right? pandora gets sorted into ravenclaw and evan gets sorted into slytherin. even tho they are in different houses, they continue hanging out bc they are silblings whit A GOOD RELATIONSHIP.

so than pandora meets barty, who is also a ravenclaw, and becomes friends whit him, and evan becomes friends whit reggie and dorcas (who are both slytherins).

and than one day they decide to meet their friends. and than they all become inseparable.

and they name themselfs the slytherin skittles bc most of the time they hang out in the slytherin common room (secretly, ofc)

I love the marauders fandom to death but please give sapphic relationships the same attention and love. yeah it's fun to talk about the potter family always falling for some slytherin and stuff like that but when we only allow ourselves to focus on mlm relationships it harms so many people

wlw, nblw, and nblnb relationships should not just some side thing that gets put in stories because people don't know what to do now that the men are paired off

a lot of people in this fandom brag about us being progressive and inclusive as a whole but when it is only mlm ships dominating our fandom there is clearly something wrong

in fanfiction and fan content there has always been a heavy preference for mlm ships and that was mostly due to there being very few (sometimes no) well written women in the original media that stayed alive. Even if there where multiple well written women in that media they probably weren't the main characters and might not have even met. even if you wanted to go back further in history when anti queer laws where being drafted they were only made against men because men didn't think women smart enough or didn't have the autonomy to be queer.

we don't rely on canon for majority of our information and we don't live in the past so why is this blatant misogyny living in our fandom?

the best way to support everyone in our community is to uplift these ships and interact with these stories, edits, headcanons, and creators

What are some headcanons for Marauders / golden era people??

Common things like Peter, Marlene and James being childhood besties, Panodra and Evan being twins etc are very dear to me but i want to talk about some spesific things that are not being talked about.

-I think Barty suffered from anti-social personality disorder (someone with antisocial personality disorder will typically be manipulative, deceitful and reckless, and will not care for other people's feelings.) Most of the time he didnt even understand why people were upset or mad at him. Regulus, Evan and Pandora were the only people in his life to help him through this and understand his behaviour.

-ı talked about this in my fanfiction recently but I think Sybill being a half-sister to Lestranges is a perfect head-canon. We should give the girls background stories as well.

-Frank was James's gay awakening. He just was.

-Marlene was a terrible driver.

-First established relationship was not wolfstar. It was pandalily. Because pandora was close with both gryffindors and slytherins she practically built the bridge between them.

-For Barty the hat stalled between ravenclaw and slytherin. He wanted to be in slytherin as his childhood friends were already there.

-Mary and Emmeline met through their mutual love for fashion. They were the trendsetters at their year.

-Narcissa was what Andromeda was to Sirius to Regulus but their friendhsip lasted shorter as they grew up.

-Peter was the jokesmaster among the marauders. He wasnt good at plotting pranks but he'd drop jokes that made the others cackle all the time. If not a gryffindor, he'd be a hufflepuff.
