Everywhere I have worked, people have begged me to stay.

Each of these jobs were always meant to be temporary, but they always wanted me to choose to get the certificate for them instead. To choose their career path instead.

They ask me because I always put my best self forward to be as good as I can be no matter what skills are asked.

Quite frankly, I’m really good at learning quickly.

Today it happened again… my supervisor joked that I wasn’t allowed to leave, and another co worker said they always look up to me.

And call me crazy, but I’ve never wanted to stay when they have asked. I’m still not where I want to be, I’m still climbing the stairs to the career I want.

But I don’t have to stay anywhere because someone praises me, because I’m talented at what I’m currently doing.

Successes will always come when you’re motivated on your own personal journey. But that doesn’t mean I should stop running. It just means I leave footprints.

I’ll never forget one of my last days at a previous job, where one of my supervisors looked me in the eyes and said “you are not replaceable.”

I suppose that’s true…everyone’s footprint is unique, right?
