hey mindy mindy its me again (after that chaotic love poem lmaolmao) mwah mwah can u do like a notion guide post ?? like what would be helpful to add and also how you set yours up?? that would be so so helpful ilyily have the best day and sleep tight mwah mwah kiss kiss love xoxo, emily
hey emily! ✧
omg hi again!! (the love poem chaos was iconic btw, never apologize for that) you truly are my biggest fan (and i'm yours <3)
✧・゜: my notion setup: organized chaos but make it cute :・゜✧:・゜✧

so you asked about my notion setup and i'm soo excited to share because i've gone through approximately 500 iterations before finding what actually works for me! and by "works" i mean i've stuck with it for more than 3 weeks which is honestly a personal record.
the thing with notion is that it's so customizable it can be overwhelming?? like, i spent more time watching "perfect aesthetic notion tour" videos than actually using the app for the first month. classic me behavior.
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ getting started (without spiraling) ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
first things first - don't try to set up your entire life system at once! i made this mistake and abandoned notion for 2 months because it felt too overwhelming.
start with ONE area that's currently chaotic in your life. for me it was school assignments because i kept forgetting deadlines until 11pm the night before (and then panicking while eating peanut butter straight from the jar… not recommended).
my biggest tip is to not get caught up in making it pretty right away. i know that's like, counterintuitive coming from me, but functionality first, then we make it cute!
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ my actual setup ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
homepage: i have a super simple homepage with links to my main dashboards (school, blog, personal) and a little daily quote that changes. also a tiny photo of my cat judging me for motivation.
school dashboard: this is my most used section! i have a calendar view of assignments, a database of all my classes with linked notes, and reading tracker. the best part is the assignment database where i can filter by due date and subject.
blog dashboard: where i keep all my post ideas (like this one!), content calendar, and stats tracking. i also have a section for brands i want to work with someday (manifesting!).
personal dashboard: this has my habit tracker, journal prompts, and goals. i also keep recipes here because i was tired of screenshots getting lost in my camera roll.
reading nook: where i track books i've read/want to read with little ratings and notes. sometimes i write embarrassingly emotional reactions to plot twists that no one else will ever see.
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ the actually helpful stuff ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
okay so beyond the basic setup, here are things that have made notion actually useful for me:
templates!! i have templates for everything - blog posts, class notes, weekly planning. it saves so much time not starting from scratch.
linked databases are literally magic. i can have the same information show up in different places filtered different ways. like my assignments appear on my homepage as "due this week" but in my school dashboard i can see everything.
embeds are underrated. i embed my spotify playlists, google calendar, and pinterest boards so everything's in one place.
toggle lists for anything lengthy. they keep things looking clean but you can expand when needed.
color coding that actually means something. i used to just pick pretty colors but now each color has a purpose (red = urgent, blue = school, pink = blog, etc).
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ making it pretty (because we still care) ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
once the functionality is working, THEN we make it cute:
i use a consistent color palette across all pages (mostly soft pinks, lavender, and sage green)
custom icons for each page (there are free packs online or you can use emojis)
cover images that are cohesive (i use pinterest)
font consistency! i stick with the same headings and text styles
little decorative dividers between sections (just search "aesthetic dividers" and you'll find tons)
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ my honest thoughts ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
the truth is my notion isn't instagram-perfect all the time. some sections get messy when life gets busy, and that's fine! the beauty of it is you can always clean it up later.
the pages i actually use daily are pretty simple. it's the ones i rarely visit that look the most aesthetic (because they're not battle-tested with real life, lol).
start simple, find what actually helps you, and then make it pretty enough that you want to use it. that's the real secret!
let me know if you want more specific details about any part of my setup! i could literally talk about this forever (as you can probably tell from this novel of a response).
sending you the most organized vibes! hope this helps!!
xoxo, mindy 🤍
p.s. sleep tight to you too! currently writing this at 1am because i have no concept of proper sleep schedules

These celebrities are known for their eccentric nature. They’re very outside of the box thinkers. They are innovative and they think of the big picture as well as the small details. They like to think deeply about things. They’re humanitarians and they are forward thinking. They’re visionaries and they have a lot of intellect. They’re unconventional and tech savvy. They have a strong desire for freedom and individuality. They’re independent, or at least they try to be, and they can be open minded at times. They create their own narrative and sound.
Do you have any sidereal Aquarius celebrities or are you interested in any celebrities who do? Let me know in the comments. Also, let me know which house you have Aquarius in your birth chart as that can tell us more about how that innovative and unique energy plays out in their chart.

You Forgot to Water Your Plant? Let’s Play God Instead.
How to Resurrect Your Green Ally and Craft a New Spirit Vessel Like the Divine Witch You Are
Listen, witch.
You were busy. Conjuring storms, stealing hearts, dancing under the moon, or watching WitchTok too much and didn't learn anything useful anyway and now your basil's dead, your pothos is a crispy specter of its former self, and your rosemary smells suspiciously like surrender.
And the cards, the omens, didn’t warn you?
Don’t despair. You haven’t failed. You’ve just outgrown the idea that plants die like humans do. You don’t kill a spirit. You relocate it. Rehome it. Upgrade it. You could say it's a bit like demon possession, but more longterm. Same idea, worse PR.
You’re not a failed gardener. You’re a green necromancer, baby.
So, let’s talk about how to inherit, transfer, and even evolve your plant spirit, because you don’t just grow things.
You craft kingdoms.
-
First, Witch: It Might Not Be Your Fault
Let’s get something clear:
Sometimes, it wasn’t the water.
It wasn’t the sunlight.
It was capitalism.
Some plants are bred to die young. Overbred hybrids, chemically primed floral corpses in pretty pots. They're not meant to thrive, they’re meant to sell. That "mini orchid" you bought for $6? Yeah, its lifespan was cursed at checkout. Gardeners have bills. Some roots were never meant to last.
And guess what?
That doesn’t mean the spirit isn’t real. Or that it didn’t love you.
So stop mourning like you did something wrong.
Grieve less. Inherit more.
-
Step 1: Recognize the Spirit Within
Every plant is a container for consciousness.
Some are simple. Some are older than you’ll ever be.
When they die, that spirit hovers, ready to move.
Touch the soil, ash, or dried leaf. Say:
“Your roots are memory. Come back to me.”
You might feel a flicker, a warm pulse in your fingers.
That’s not nostalgia.
That’s the spirit.
-
Step 2: Choose the New Body
You have options, witch. Big ones. Here’s how to play god properly:
Seed Inheritance
Plant a seed. A pure restart.
Whisper your intention. Hold it to your chest. You’re not planting biology, you’re planting legacy.
Sister-Rooting
Split a living fern or snake plant. That sister fragment is ready to carry the original spirit like a family heirloom.
Cutting Resurrection
Take a stem or stick. Plant it in moist soil. Create a dome with a plastic bag. Set it on the windowsill. Sunlight and warmth become your altar. This is sacred cloning. Life from life.
Spirit Adoption (a.k.a. Store Rescue)
You bought a new plant? The vessel is about to be empty and wants to move on? Good. It’s not just décor. That pot is a waiting body. Invite the spirit of the fallen to enter. Trust your gut, plants choose you.
Body Upgrades
Yes, you heard me. Maybe your plant wants an upgrade:
Trade that frail basil for a lavender Bush, still herbal, but stronger.
Move from a weak succulent to a jade plant, prosperity and power.
Transform a floppy ivy into a creeping fig, a climber, a conqueror.
Say:
“This is your new form. Wiser. Wilder. Worthy of you.”
The spirit listens.
It knows.
-
Step 3: Ritual Transfer
Gather:
A leaf, ash, or soil from the old plant
A bowl of moon-charged water
A sigil of inheritance (infinity, spiral, or one born from your own hand)
Drop the remnant into the water. Say:
“Not death, but transformation. You rise again, in a vessel of my choosing.”
Pour this water onto the new plant.
Trace the sigil on the pot.
The transfer is done.
IMPORTANT:
Just for the record, adjust steps, sayings and ingredients to your liking - I'm just giving you ideas. Say what you're most comfortable with, use what you have. Tab water works fine, you can make the plant spirit inherit the new body without remains, only with your thoughts, sigil not necessary, it comes from your power within, BUT... we all love the aesthetics, don't we?
-
Step 4: Honor the Resurrection
You’ve done the work, but power grows in devotion.
Offer a drop of honeyed water.
Bury a small stone at the roots.
Speak to it. Not with guilt, with reverence.
Play music. Let your breath become its breeze.
Remember: Plants don’t need perfection.
They need presence.
-
Final Warning: Plants Are Watching
Once is a mistake.
Twice is a lesson.
Three times?
That’s a pattern. And let me be clear:
Plants are the final boss of human life.
They feed you. Heal you. House you.
And when it’s over?
They compost you.
Be kind.
Be vigilant.
And above all - be powerful.
In darkness and dirt,
- D.

In a beginner guide to heresy, why are the human character's names are like... steel... and concrete...
Is there plot significance to it? Or do you think it's just funny to name people related to building construction?
Everything in BGH exists and happens because I thought it would be cool or funny. Also it's a pun on "reinforced concrete", which works better in Russian (сталик + бетон = железобетон)
#If it's silly it's in#That said I've been rethinking how I should go about its plot#Because I do find it easier to work with stories that have some semblance of an outline#Even conceptualised a silly antagonist hehe...#But I'm balls deep into PAFL right now. BGH will have to wait its turn#beginner's guide to heresy#bgh#steel#concrete#asks#blog

Todays spell work
Three wishes spell

Very simple, we’ll see how effective it is.
I have three wishes, something about my career, something about my love life and just to have a nice happy Christmas this year.
The red candle is christmas spice, I carved my wish to have a happy christmas in it and sprinkled pink salt in it for pure protection.
The purple candle is lavendar, I carved my love related wish into it and sprinkled cinnamon on it.
The orange candle is mango, I carved my career wish in it and sprinkled a bit of dried basil on there.
I drew out a triangle, wrote my wishes at each tip in a different colour pen (purple for christmas, pink for love and blue for career), and drew one of my personal use sigils in the center. I folded the paper to triangle shape, placed the candles to their corresponding tips and lit them.
May the full moon hear my prayer, may my intentions be carried through the rest of its cycle, may my wishes come true
Update: it worked!

Full Moon in Scorpio
The full moon will be in sidereal Scorpio (tropical Sagittarius) on June 11th. The full moon in Scorpio is a time when we’re tapping into our intuition and following our gut. This is a time when we’re reclaiming our power and channeling our inner strength.
The full moon in sidereal Scorpio is the time when we’re processing or dealing with hard emotions and we could be navigating different emotional states. The full moon in sidereal Scorpio is a time when we could be feeling instinctive and we could be practicing emotional healing.
The full moon in sidereal Scorpio is a time of transformation, especially related to emotions and family. This could be a time when we’re changing up how we emotionally handle things or we could be dealing with transformation in regards to our home and our interactions with family members.
The full moon in sidereal Scorpio (tropical Sagittarius) will be opposing the Sun in sidereal Taurus (Sun in tropical Gemini). This can be a time when our emotions and identity feel at odds with one another and we could be feeling like we’re portraying different images or versions of ourselves. The full moon in sidereal Scorpio will be trining Saturn in sidereal Pisces (tropical Aries), so this can be a time when wee trying to establish emotional security and stability and we could be seeking more structure within our emotional world and homes.
The full moon in Scorpio is related to the Death card in the major Arcana, which represents transformation, endings, new beginnings, metamorphosis, change, letting go and moving on, and transitions. This is the time to focus on the future and to let go of the past. The Death card encourages you to embrace transformation, rebirth, and change. This is the time to shed old patterns and embrace new beginnings.
To see the full post about the other tarot cards that are associated with Scorpio, and what that means for the full moon energy we’re experiencing right now, check out my Patreon (@starw0man4) and subscribe to it for daily astrology and tarot content.

Strawberry Moon Water
not a recipe - a rhythm for your spellwork
by Doris and Iris
Moon water is memory water.
It holds softness, longing, sweetness, and return.
Especially under a Strawberry Moon, when things ripen,
when love tastes like fruit and longing,
when spellwork becomes syrupy and warm.
Here’s how we’ll probably make ours tonight.
You’ll make yours differently. That’s the point.
This is your crafting.
There is no wrong way, only what’s true to your hands, your will, your path.
You’ll need:
- Clean water (filtered, rain, or collected with purpose - whatever speaks)
- A (glass) container you like looking at
- One strawberry, from your garden if you have one, your altar if you dare, or the market if that’s the vibe
Optional herbs:
- Basil (prosperity)
- Rose (for beauty + soft rage)
- Mint (clarity, speed)
- Lavender (rest, deep dreaming)
Optional stones (only ones that don’t dissolve):
- Clear quartz (amplify)
- Moonstone (channel)
- Obsidian (ground and protect)
→ These are just suggestions.
There are more properties than we could list,
and every ingredient may hold a different meaning to you.
Trust what speaks - your associations are part of the spell.
Add whatever else calls to you. Throw a cotton ribbon in it, whatever.
Everything is allowed.
You’ll also need:
- Your intention - whispered, carved, scribbled, or bled into it
- Whoever walks with you, ancestors, spirits, demons, gods
- Or just you. That’s always enough.
How it goes:
1. Fill your container with water.
2. Add your ingredients: the strawberry, herbs, stones, whatever.
(You can add things later if you forget. Magic understands time differently.)
3. Speak to it. Speak through it. Let it hear who you are.
4. Leave it under the moon, outside if you can, on a windowsill if you must.
If the moon’s visible during the day, that’s valid too.
Make two containers if you want: one for day, one for night.
5. Retrieve before sunrise if you’re following old rules.
Or don’t.
6. Store it in a closed jar.
Keep it out of direct sunlight to preserve its properties.
Label it if you like. Or just remember.
Notes from our house (let's play it safe):
- With ingredients? Use within 3 days. Don’t drink it.
Use for spellwork, offerings, anointing, or dripping dramatically on letters.
- Without ingredients? Shelf-stable for up to 28 days, or until the next moon sings louder.
If this were a store-bought item, we’d stamp it with:
“Best used within 4 weeks. Keep cool. Respect what you made.”
- Forgot something? The moon remembers.
You’re doing fine, witch.
Happy Strawberry Moon.
Let it ripen. Let it be sweet. Let it ruin you gently.
Yours,
Doris and Iris - with love, from our house to yours.

The Epilogue.
(one last DISCLAIMER: this is askblog for TBG Davey, not the actual Davey Wreden.)
I assume you have many questions - and after my response, you'll come up with even more. But I never planned to answer any of them.
I'm only telling a story.
Once TSPUD got announced, people have asked me if I'd remaster The Beginner's Guide. That question kept showing up, and I kept saying - 'Whats the point? The story is already finished.'
And then, I was asked again. And then, again.
And then - again.
At some point, I stopped responding. It was not due to being tired of repeating myself, but because I wasn't sure if the answer was still true. I felt there was nothing more to add, and enhancing the graphics would only take away from the experience. And yet, I knew there was so much more to the story.
I looked at all the game reviews, emails, and messages I could, realizing that this was it.
Feedback or The Cookie9 Phenomenon, if you want to call it that.
In a way, I suppose, I've always been my audience's Coda. The only thing that was different was no direct contact. After the enormous, very overwhelming response from the original TSP, I've been sparingly responding to any private feedback I've been receiving.
But the emails kept not changing. I do find the mails where I'm getting 'destroyed' or 'owned' very funny but that wasn't the case from the start.
So, I've wondered - how would these people react if they could see an effect of their own words? That it's not just something they spout into the ether but there's an actual person on the other side?
I wondered how could I bring this up without making a Skip Button Ultra Deluxe Edition. While games are interactive, you still have a barrier between you and the creator of the games.
Inspiration came randomly, during one panel I was listening to. Typically, a person would have a big speech followed by questions but that one particular instance was like 70% QnA. And at the end - I felt great! Maybe I couldn't give my own feedback in the sea of hands but there was something so charming about this being such a collaborative work. At the start, the performer said "you shape how the show will go" and even if it was obvious in that circumstance, to this day I remember it.
So, I've decided to make this askblog. But as I stated in it, in hidden clues - I'm fine at the moment! I'm happy where I stand as a creator and I had moved on from the past. That, however, wasn't always the case.
I'm lucky that I was mad enough to have many diaries throughout my life. I've written down so many of my reactions, thought processes and feelings, reading through My Files wasn't that much of an issue. And since I've already played as my past self once - I could do it again.
I will leave this askblog open but I won't respond to every message left for it as I've used to. I'll spare your time and write down some of the questions that you'll probably not get answers to:
"Was Coda ever real?", "Where the Twitter screenshot real and if so, what were Coda's thoughts and reaction to all of this?" "Were Coda's answer actually his?" or any other Coda-related questions like that,
"What are you working on now?", "Are you really fine?",
"What exactly inspired you in your life to do this now?", "Had a similar situation happened before?", "How did you deal with other Fake Codas?", "Will you one day answer our questions again?"
or anything TSP/TSPUD related,
because you're not entitled to someone's work or life.
And I won't light up your lampposts anymore.
Davey, out!
===
(Hi, it's me, @shinakazami1, the creator of this story. I'd like to thank everybody who spent their time to support this. I adore interacting with my own audience so this way of storytelling felt great thanks to you! My plan was to have something in the spirit of the original The Beginner's Guide in a form of an ask blog - small questions connected with themselves, telling a bigger yet short story that had already 'happened'. As Davey had said - you shape the way this could have gone. While the ending was predetermined from the start, Act 2 aka 'Coda's Askblog' was entirely up to you! For every post that you've asked Coda about something, I've already prepared a draft for the other blog. There were different versions of Coda and Davey planned. You've chosen Anxious Yet Assertive Davey and Angry but Weirdly Supportive Coda. I might talk about these more either in an edit of this post or on my Tumblr Blog, as I'd like to show a bit of a cut content :] While askblog Davey said he might not answer the questions mentioned - I might, so feel free to come and say your thoughts on this, your feedback, anything! I've myself been once again feeling stuck with creating, especially with drawing. But this project made me feel great, and it's all thanks to you. So thank you, Player. May we see each other another time. Toodle-pip!)
