#but seeing how stressed Tay is because of this

Something I find interesting is that I haven’t seen any backlash against Gun. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want him to be hassled, but it’s strange to me that Tay is the one I’m seeing being targeted. People are acting like New has been treated poorly, but no one (that I can see) has said anything about Off or Gun. All vitriol has been aimed at Tay and I don’t think that’s fair at all.
(Just so I’m clear, NO ONE should be getting hate, but I’m bitter that I am still seeing idiots comment things like “sorry I will only support New now” or “how could you do this to New” and “shame on you for lying to us” and I am so confused? No one has lied about anything?! 4 men in their 30s are comfortable enough with each other that they are affectionate with one another - why the hell is one of them getting hate for that?!)
(Also, shout out to Mek for stepping in and informing everyone that he too kisses his friends on the mouth! He said it’s something culturally normal to them, and I love him for that.)
(ALSO!!! TayNew mentioned kissing Nanon - let me see that please - and it reminded me of the hate Nonnie got for the picture she posted where she is kissing Nanon on the mouth and people attacked her for it. For kissing her big brother. Sorry if it’s weird for some, but kissing is not always sexual. I kiss my friends, my brother, my parents…cheeks and lips. It’s normal for so many of us. If you’re my pal and you’re cool with it, I will kiss you too!)

we talk a lot about Shauna being ruthless and violent and resentful, and not to say she isn't those things but also--
Shauna, who risks burning alive to save Van.
Shauna, who pauses to comfort the reunited Tai & Van after the latter is found safe
Shauna, who consoles and looks after Javi all through season 1 while his older brother is busy being misogynistic and getting fucked
Shauna, who takes on the job of butcher despite not necessarily wanting or enjoying it and never complains or slacks off even when the task becomes traumatizing
Shauna, who tries to get Jackie to eat, to keep going, when everyone else has given up on her by that point.
Shauna, who has to be goaded, essentially given permission before she becomes violent
Shauna, who loved her baby in spite of the stress her pregnancy added to an already precarious situation, who spoke to him and cradled him and futily tried to keep him alive, who buried him away from the others to keep him safe in death
Shauna, who kept her daughter's favorite childhood toy in her car long after she'd outgrown it, to always keep a piece of her close by
Shauna, who sees Tai struggling and invites her to stay over, so that Tai won't be afraid to sleep
Shauna, who goes along with Jeff's boring, milqtoast furniture salesman fantasies because while she doesn't love him the way she did Jackie, she does care about him and wants to make him happy
Shauna, who was the only one of the group to show up to Misty's how to get away with murder seminar and thank Misty for going to the trouble
Shauna, who is soft-spoken where Jackie is loud, conciliatory where Jackie is pushy, helpful where Jackie is lackadaisical, proactive where Jackie sulks.
Shauna, who's not a perfect friend or mother or wife but who's still quietly one of the nicest, most empathetic of the Yellowjackets and yet because she got drafted into being the group's butcher, wrote bitchy journal entries, and did one fucked up thing behind her best friend's back (which she immediately regretted and agonized over) gets rebranded by fandom as caustic, overly-snarky and quick tempered when it takes her 10 episodes to get pissed off enough to raise her voice

Synopsis: Dating Tai Lung headcanons!
Pairing: Tai lung x gn!reader (Animal of your choice)
Cw: Headcanon, fluff, mildly ooc Tai lung (BC HE'S A TEEN IN LOVE) pre kung fu panda 1, not proofread but I'll keep on editing this as I read LMAO
──────•❥❥❥•──────
Tumblr media
Everyone knew of Tai Lung. He was the adopted son of Shifu and the soon to be Dragon Warrior
At least that is what Shifu keeps on saying. But no one doubted it, Tai Lung was absolutely amazing and strong.
Many girls fell for him, and of course you did as well. But the differences between you and them, was that you successfully got Tai Lung’s heart
Everyone knew that although Tai Lung was strong, he had the temper of an eruptive volcano. Which is why MOST of his admirers wouldn't dare to confess their love to him.
Tai Lung fell in love with your confidence. The next dragon warrior was not stupid. He knew that most of the villagers were scared of him, despite admiring him.
You basically strolled up to him one day when he was walking down the streets of the valley of peace, and thanked him for his hard work.
“Hi Tai Lung, my name is (name) and I just wanted to say that I admire you and thank you for protecting the valley of Peace from danger.” you smiled
“You’re.. Welcome.” He nodded, holding a bag of groceries. Tai was stunned someone had the confidence to even look his way when he was on the streets of the valley
You smiled and nodded a little “See you around! Soon-to-be Dragon warrior” winking at him playfully and walking away.
He finds himself smiling at the memory whenever he has time to himself. From that moment on, you started seeing each other more often and finally made it official.
Never in a million years would he think that he would find someone to love.
Afterall, his heart and mind was set to mastering the art of Kung Fu, and making his father proud
But you changed him for the better.
You and him were polar opposites, which was great. You both were compatible despite your differences.
He was hot tempered and prideful... and you patient and humble.
Shifu and Tai Lung would have arguments from time to time. It’s only natural after all! He was a teenager, in his rebellious stage.
Tai Lung would storm out of the Jade Palace to cool down.
Before you, He’d go to a hill and punch a sturdy tree to relieve his stress. Of course the trees stood no chance
Now that he has you, his partner, the hot headed leopard would come over to your place without saying a word.
He didn’t have to of course, because he knew that you would understand right away. Which is all he needed honestly. I don’t think that he would have the patience to explain the full situation.
Tai Lung would NEVER admit it to you though, because his pride won't let him. But he loves how gentle you are with him.
The way you spoke to him when he was having troubles
“Tai, I understand Shifu made you upset, but you have to understand where he’s coming from.”
The way you held his paw in your own
“I’m sure he means no harm. He just wants the best for you and so do I”
How you guide him to the right path “Please control your temper next time, I don’t want you to start losing yourself and go on the wrong path”
His shoulders become less tense whenever he sees how soft your gaze is when you look at him.
Those eyes are just full of patience, love, empathy and understanding. Qualities that he does not have (Except love)
Qualities he loves about you.
If youre having a hard time Tai Lung would sense it straight away.
You both know that he isn't the best with his words
He can be awkward and stiff, but for you? He’ll try his damn best.
He’ll buy your favourite food, and even stop by mister Ping’s noodle shop to get you something warm for your tummy.
The Leopard would visit your place and take you by the lake at night to watch the stars in the sky as you feel the breeze of the wind hit your (feather/fur/skin/scales)
“Thank you Tai… for this.” You smiled at him as you took a bite out of the food he brought for you.
Tai Lung would nod stiffly “No problem.”
Honestly he wasn’t happy that he wouldn't comfort you with sweet words like you would do for him when he was upset.
“You know. I used to come here often to take time for myself. The first time I came here was to find inner peace in myself, but I couldn't, which frustrated me even more…” Tai lung started, he took a glance at you to see if you were listening
“I then decided to stop my meditation and look up at the sky. And what I saw was the beautiful stars shining brightly up there. Only then, did I find my peace even if it was for one night. In fact,” he looked up at the sky as if he was signing to you to do the same “the stars up there are shining just as bright as when I saw it for the first time.”
Your eyes trailed up to the sky and immediately you saw what your boyfriend was talking about.
“Wow it’s beautiful” you whispered in awe as Tai Lung saw the stars twinkling in your eyes.
“Just like a certain someone I know..” he’d whisper back, admiring your features and admiring you.
He was so lucky to have you by his side and he knows it damn well
No other words were exchanged between the two of you.
You scooted closer to your boyfriend and leaned into his shoulder for warmth and comfort. Tai Lung didn’t push you away, instead he pulled you closer.
Whether or not Tai Lung knows it, you started to forget your worries right then and there. It seems like he knows how to comfort you after all.

Thanks for your response ala Ruby & Yang, great stuff!
Idle aside, but do you have any thoughts on Yang's role as the sort of black sheep of the family by dint of Raven associations?
Cos like, Tai overtly favors Ruby, projects Raven onto Yang, resents Raven being rough up and is bad enough about reminders of her Yang feels she has to apologize for his negative reactions. Let alone his... Everything else.
Then there's Qrow who doesn't seem to interact with Yang over much at all and one of if not their most major interaction. Involves him straight up saying he thinks she's either a liar hurting people for fun or "crazy".
I recall someone I was chatting with wondering: Imagine doing everything you can to keep your family from breaking apart & being compared to the woman who left you when you were a baby?
Cos I do wonder how Yang feels about all that given she seems to downplay and or try to work around her family's issues when she can. Let alone what it says about the adults in the room.
smth i think about a lot is the way yang’s narrative about her childhood shifts between v2 to v5
’cause in v2 it’s: “it was tough. ruby was really torn up, my dad kind of shut down. it wasn’t long before i learned why…” all to provide context for this anecdote about putting ruby in a wagon and running away to find her mother. and then her conclusion is “my stubbornness should have gotten us killed that night.”
and while there is a degree here of yang framing the story to emphasize the point she wants blake to understand, it’s also very obvious in her delivery that the emotional reality of this memory for yang is “the time my stupidity and stubbornness almost got me and ruby eaten by grimm”—when she was [checks notes] like five, six years old, and regularly left at home unsupervised.
but in v5, it’s: “my mom left me. ruby’s mom left too. tai was always busy with school, and ruby couldn’t even talk yet; i had to pick up the pieces. i had to pick up the pieces. alone.”
aside from the telling slip (tai, not dad)—yang centers her own feelings and the harm this situation did to her this time. which is something she’s always felt but i don’t think she could have brought herself to say it out loud to anyone during the beacon arc, because it was pressed down under the guilt on display in burning the candle, the feeling of having been inadequate and too stubborn and too selfish and and and–
coughs quietly. “my stubbornness should have gotten us killed that night.” / “you were predictable. and… stubborn. and maybe a little boneheaded.” yang’s narrative about the wagon incident—which happened when she was five or six!—pinning the blame on the thing tai imagines to be her fatal flaw is…probably not coincidental. yang in v4 after a year of being loved by her team and supported by mentors like glynda / oobleck / port has the perspective to know that tai doesn’t know what he’s talking about; but as a small child who’d just had a terrifying near-death experience with her baby sister… 😶
it definitely had a big impact on the way yang sees herself
BUT i do read qrow's talk with yang in 3.8 pretty differently ->
because the context is: yang saw mercury attack her and struck back in self defense, then had like a dozen synthetic soldiers point guns in her face, then looked up and saw the replay footage of herself walking over to shoot a boy who was just kneeling on the ground. and some of the most powerful authority figures in the world are pushing this narrative that stress and adrenaline "clouded her judgment."
like this would make anyone doubt their sanity. bc holy shit.
yang, though...a couple weeks ago, yang after being knocked unconscious woke up and blearily saw someone she thought was her mother walk away from her and disappear in a flash of red light. she hasn't mentioned it to anyone, because it's just so bizarre—yang doesn't know about raven's semblance yet—she must have just been seeing things. right?
aside from raven (who isn't here) and yang (who believes she hallucinated), the only other person who knows that yang saw her mom on the train is qrow, because raven told him about it. he also knows that:
tai insisted on not telling yang ANYTHING about her mother, and qrow respected that up until now; so yang doesn't know about raven's semblance and can't make sense of what she saw.
salem's infiltrators are the same people who attacked amber, and qrow didn't get a good look at them because they seemingly vanished into thin air—pretty damn good chance that one of them has a semblance that manipulates what you see.
ozpin wants #2 kept secret, so yang has some very powerful people actively trying to convince her that she's crazy. ironwood is straight up gaslighting her.
qrow also—based on the first thing he says, which is "why'd you do it?"—seems to consider it a possibility that it is what it looked like but yang did have a good reason, and i actually do not think that is an outrageous thing for qrow specifically to think. because qrow was emotionally abused as a child, and he knows yang, and in the event that yang really did suddenly turn around and punch a guy who was kneeling on the ground, why would she do it?
glances at shay d. mann. well. maybe this kid has been harassing her? maybe he said something horrible or threatening to her and in the heat of the moment she just snapped? maybe "he attacked me, i saw him attack me" isn't really a lie per se, she's just scared that "he's been picking on me ever since he got here and he made a disgusting remark and i just couldn't take it anymore" won't be taken seriously? as in, he did attack her—verbally/emotionally.
it's probably worth asking, at least!
so, qrow leads with "why'd you do it?" in case there is some invisible reason justifying the apparent action. yang says "you know why." qrow goes okay, well, i only know what i saw, so you're either lying (i.e., yang had a reason she now isn't telling) or crazy (i.e., yang saw something different from reality that was very real to her).
she says "i'm not lying." qrow believes her: "crazy, got it."
at this point, he knows the most probable explanation is that one of salem's infiltrators fucked with her head. the inner circle's gaslighting doesn't sit right with him; he's not going to buck ozpin by telling her the truth outright, but he wants to make sure yang knows she isn't losing her mind. he also has all the info needed to guess that yang is actually really really scared that she might be crazy.
which is why he kicks off the wall and begins to pace around. the language he uses sounds dismissive, but his tone is mild and his body language implies "let's talk about it, let's figure this out."
leading to:
YANG: Who knows? Maybe I am. QROW: And here I thought your dark-haired friend was the emo one. YANG: I saw my mom. …I- I was in a lot of trouble, took a pretty hard hit. But when I came to, the person attacking me was gone, and I thought I saw… her. Her sword. Like the one in you and dad’s old picture. QROW: You’re not crazy, Yang. That was your mom, alright. Let me guess—she didn’t say a word, did she? YANG: How did you know that? QROW: I don't see my sister very often, but she does try to keep in touch... whenever it suits her. YANG: Wait—you mean you talk to her? That was real!? QROW: Yeah, she found me. Had a tip from my most recent assignment and wanted me to give you a message.
it's really telling that yang responds to him this way. 'cause we've seen how yang acts when she feels dismissed or belittled:
TAI: Well, "normal" is what you make of it. YANG: What is that supposed to mean? Do you want me to just pretend like nothing happened? I lost a part of me. A piece of me is gone. And it's never coming back. TAI: You're right. It's not coming back. But that doesn't have to stop you from becoming who you wanna be. You're Yang Xiao Long, my sunny little dragon. You can do whatever you put your mind to. So whenever you're ready to stop moping, and get back out there? I'll be there for you. YANG: I– I...
she freezes and shuts down! her teachers have to come to her rescue!—but when qrow goes "crazy, got it" and suggests she's being "emo," yang blurts out her big secret. i saw my mom. to me that suggests a level of trust and understanding that isn't there with tai: qrow says stuff like "okay, so you're crazy" and "here i thought your friend was the emo one" but what he means is "hey, i know something's really bugging you, tell me about it," and yang picks up what he's putting down.
it's akin to how ruby goes "did you miss me? DID YOU MISS ME??" and qrow's like "nope" and they both laugh. or the back-and-forth ribbing between him and the girls in 3.4. there's this layer of mild ironic meanness in the way qrow converses with his nieces that all of them are fluent in, and in this scene he's using that mode to signal that "crazy" is not off-limits, that it's okay to talk about openly.
crucially, there's a code-switch in the middle of the conversation: as soon as yang gets real and says "i saw my mom," qrow reflects that seriousness back to her. you're not crazy, that was your mom, she found me afterward and told me about it. it was real. you're okay. qrow's ability to do that—to shift into a more serious mode when irony isn't appropriate—is why yang can have this rapport with him that she doesn't have with tai, because tai isn't... being ironic when he says mean or dismissive things to her.
anyway, qrow passes on raven's terrible message and then kind of annotates it: "raven's got an interesting way of looking at the world that i don't particularly agree with, and she's dangerous." (which is a very diplomatic way of saying he thinks raven is full of shit. lol.) but then he connects this whole conversation about raven back to what happened after the match: "you're a tough egg, kiddo. don't let this tournament thing getcha down. you had a slip-up; sometimes bad things just happen."
implicitly: yang isn't crazy. what she saw on the train was real, a product of raven's personality and her semblance. sometimes bad things just happen. qrow believes that yang had the experience she says she did when she punched mercury. he doesn't know why she had that experience—yang doesn't either!—but he knows she isn't just "crazy." sometimes things that seem crazy are actually real.
remember what he tells the girls in 3.4? "you may be acting like huntresses, but you're not thinking like one." same thing here. he's telling yang, hey, you're not crazy, you know what you saw, but you don't know what or who caused you to see it. "you cut off the head of the king taijitu, but now the second head's calling the shots."
hint, hint.
it's subtler than the hints qrow drops for ruby in 3.12, but very much in the same vein, and yang is plenty smart enough to figure it out. she might... not have? in the couple of hours between this conversation and everything going to straight to hell, but if they'd had literally just one more day, just long enough for the wheels turning in yang's head to click together with what ruby heard from velvet about coco hallucinating during her and yatsu's 2v2 against emerald and mercury, she would've had it.
more... generally, i've never gotten the sense that qrow projects raven's flaws onto yang in the way that tai does; qrow is definitely a lot closer with ruby than yang, but i think that has less to do with favoritism on qrow's part than it does ruby thinking he's like the COOLEST uncle ever and wanting to use a scythe like he does.
'cause like, qrow isn't their parent, he doesn't live with them, he's not responsible for raising these kids like their dad is, so while he obviously did contribute to fucking them both up because: alcoholic, ultimately there just isn't the same degree of betrayal or emotional abandonment; he's not their dad. both times yang talks in detail about her childhood, it's "my mom left, ruby's mom left, tai wasn't really around, ruby couldn't even talk, i was alone"—she doesn't mention qrow. there isn't that deep hurt, that feeling that qrow is someone who left.
when he isn't drunk, yang seems to feel pretty okay around him, and qrow likewise treats her... honestly a lot better than tai does:
he stops by their dorm in v3 to hang out with both his nieces; yang is fully in sister mode—cheers for ruby to beat him until ruby loses, immediately shoves her out of the way like "my turn!! >:D"—and qrow ribs them both, takes ribbing from both of them in good humor, tells both of them "you two are gonna go far."
qrow nicknames to show affection; ruby is "pipsqueak," yang gets "firecracker."
we only see qrow's goodbye to ruby, but in 5.4 yang indicates that qrow came to talk to her before he left, too. she also has complete trust that he's keeping the promise he made to look after ruby.
yang, as noted, opens up to him about seeing her mom; she's also shocked that he's still in contact with raven and indignant that he didn't tell her sooner, but—unlike with tai—she doesn't seem surprised that qrow is willing to talk about raven in general.
which tracks with what tai says in 4.11: "despite asking him numerous times not to, i know qrow told you where you're mother's been at these days"—meaning, this was a point of contention between him and qrow. behind the scenes, while tai refused to discuss raven at all, qrow was going okay well, let me tell her then, she deserves to know. and then ultimately he just bit the bullet and told her behind tai's back. i wouldn't be surprised if it turned out qrow had been straight with yang that her dad wanted to be the one to tell her the important stuff, and he wanted to be respectful of that, but raven wasn't an off-limits topic.
general contrast between yang-tai and yang-qrow dynamics; for example both of them say almost verbatim "you've got a long way to go before you're ready for the real world" (3.4/4.4). from tai it's belittling, he's insulting her; from qrow, it's meant to encourage, it's "remember you're still new to this, you'll make mistakes, just keep learning, keep trying." (rwby does stuff like this all the time, refracting an idea in different directions to highlight contrasts between characters; ozpin's advice to ruby vs port's advice to weiss is another example.)
a lot of qrow's resentment toward raven is centered on her abandonment of yang: "did you know yang lost her arm? [...] rhetorical question, i know you know. it's just obnoxious that you'd bring up family and then carry on like your own daughter doesn't exist. [raven: "i saved her."] once. because that was your rule, right? real mom of the year material, sis." like he is PISSED on yang's behalf that raven won't even try.
my impression is that qrow—although a) often away on long missions in far away places and b) an alcoholic who sometimes got blind drunk and became a burden yang and ruby needed to take care of—when he did manage to be there, made a serious effort to connect with both of them. he ended up being closer to ruby bc she wanted to learn scythe-wielding, but i do think qrow would've trained yang too (or instead) if the girls had different combat interests.
and while his relationship with ruby has a mentorish aspect, i don't get the sense either of the girls see him as a parental figure: he wasn't part of their household, he traveled a lot, his alcoholism in combination with tai's neglect eroded the adult-child boundaries because they had to be responsible for him as often as the reverse. he's a friend who also happens to be related to them. and that's especially true for yang, because he wasn't her teacher.
(i know it's a... pretty common headcanon / fanon that qrow lived with them, but i really don't think that's supported by the text? whenever ruby or yang look back on their childhoods, the family unit is always them + tai, and qrow isolates himself out of fear that his semblance will injure those he cares about. plus ozpin sending him all over the place as the one member of team strq still active. it makes way more sense to think he lived alone, and visited when he had the chance. which is the main reason i'm WAY softer on him than on tai, 'cause qrow wasn't in a caretaker/parent role; at most he was an occasional babysitter. so while his incidents of turning up drunk on the doorstep contributed to the harm... it's like, it would absolutely have been better for them if qrow were sober, but that wouldn't have changed anything about their home life. they'd just have somewhat easier relationships with qrow.)
TO WRAP THIS BACK AROUND TO THE QUESTION, tai is unfairly judgmental and harsh with yang bc he projects his idea of her mom onto her; yang also has a better relationship with her mom's brother than she does with her dad. how do these two dynamics interact? how does yang feel about hearing from tai that she's too branwen, so to speak, while also getting along better with the branwen side of her family? how might that fuel her desire to find raven?
if her uncle treats her better than tai does, then... maybe her mom would too, if only yang could reach her?—obviously it's not rational, but like. i don't think five year old yang put her baby sister in a wagon and ran away to find her mom because she thought she would ask "why did you leave me?" and then get her answer and go home. as yang grew older and developed a more realistic perspective it shifted to "i just need to know why she left" and she projects that backward onto herself as a child, but at the time what she wanted, what she was looking for, was someone who would take care of them.

OK. i love the idea of them using you at parties that jackie throws after a big game :( or any party really. you're always forced invited to come with them and you're glued to someone's slde the whole night. constantly being felt up with one hand and someone else's hand is shoved down your panties. sometimes the others will just watch, completely enraptured by how you're being used like a toy. but other times, you're left on jackie's bedroom floor leaking with your cum as they surround you like predators.
you can't count how many times you've woken up to a tongue or finger shoved down your pussy because they felt like it. it's because you look so pretty while sleeping, they say. nat and shauna are usually the culprits - they just go crazy at how your body responds while you're sleeping. your legs still open wide for them, your pussy still gets wet, and of course, your sleepy little moans :(
ive talked about this many times before.... but the idea of dating one of the girls and her letting them use you whenever is just 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
like dating shauna...she loves to watch more than anything. you'll open your eyes while lottie and jackie are making out with your pussy, nat, tai and van playing with your tits, and just see shauna in the darkest corner of the room watching with hooded eyes. it makes goosebumps run all over your body. after the girls have their fun with you and leave, that's when she pounces. she loves nothing more than tasting everyone on you before she uses a squirting dildo and stuffing you with her cum.
filming whenever you have sex with her so she can send it to the groupchat and they can touch themselves to it ;3
getting used the most before games...ur their own stress reliver toy <3 they have you lie down on the lockerroom benches as they all use you one by one, praising you for being such a good doll for them. and you're getting used again after the game! especially if they lost. they're so rough with you, degrading you and acting like it's your fault that they didn't win.
ur in the kitchen at lottie's house getting some juice and she just bends you over, pulling your shorts down before humping your ass <3
sometimes when you're too tired to have sex, they'll hold you down anyways and overstim you for denying them :P leaving you tied up for HOURS until you either pass out from cumming too much or they think you've learned ur lesson
thinking about cockwarming their straps....triple penetration? :3 two straps in ur pussy, one in ur mouth and one in ur ass. you're sobbing because you Need something and you desperately want to move but they're holding ur hips down, slapping ur throbbing clit for not being able to stay still

─ ౨ৎ ‧˚ oldersister!nat who was kinda awkward when you were born, not knowing how to get along with you or how to act—until one day, she fell on her face tripping over one of your toys, and you burst your ass off laughing, staring down at her from your high chair.
“stupid baby,” she said with a frown, rubbing her forehead, but couldn't help joining in the laughter as she found your little giggles very cute and contagious.
that entire afternoon, she kept fake tripping just to make you laugh—by the time she realized it, her legs and arms were all bruised up from all the falling.
─ ౨ৎ ‧˚ sum random hcs
you’re the most important person in her life and she’d do anything for you. literally.
you’ve had fights before due to her drinking and drug addictions, but she promised you that she’d try her best to quit—or at least to do it less frequently. you try to go easy on her though, because you know it’s not easy for her after what happened to your dad. not only that, but since your mom isn’t really present either, she feels very responsible for you, which at times makes her feel stressed. she really is trying her best though, cuz she hates to feel like she’s disappointing you, it literally breaks her heart.
both of you take care of each other equally. she has no (stable) parental figure to rely on, unlike you, who have her as your older sister. so, even though you're younger than her, you always try to show her that you can take care of yourself and that you can always take care of her too whenever she needs it.
she often feels guilty about your dad's death, but you've always reassured her that it wasn't her fault. you've told her many times that no matter what anyone says or thinks, she's not responsible for his death, and that you've never ever doubted that.
she isn’t very verbally expressive but will show her love for you through actions or by randomly ruffling your hair or rubbing your arm/back.
type of person to say “if you need anything just give me a call and i’ll get there in a heartbeat,” and then proceeds to put her phone on night mode and goes straight to bed ☠️ she added a focus button for whenever you go out tho, so that way, if you text her late at night in case of an emergency, she’ll actually get a notification.
she gets mad when you call her natty in public—especially after you called her that in front of tai and she bullied the shit outta her 😭😭 being like “you tired, natty? 🥺🫶🏼” at practice.
she texts “:3” ironically ☠️☠️ also sends you lots of sigma and monkey memes on instagram.
“yo i found this restaurant the other day and they fr serve the best chicken in new jersey, you’ll love it” *takes you to jollibee*
you asked her for help on your homework once and literally failed the assignment ☠️ like, you straight up got a ZERO 😭😭 the worst part is that for the next assignment, you went over to van's trailer for help, and you failed once again 😭 it wasn't until tai came over to see van that you asked for her help as a last resort, and you finally got a B+.
not a morning person at all, she would wake up at least at 1 pm every day if she could. she gets very grumpy if you wake her up before that time on the weekends or when there's no school.
“there’s NO WAY your girl kisser ass is dating travis martinez wth 🤢😭 where’s lottie when you need her” *blocks you*
you gave her a leather jacket for her birthday, and it took you forever to save up enough money to buy it since it was an expensive one—but it was worth it, cuz she loved it so much that she literally wears it every single day.

Brome I have a request. 🙏 I would like to request Taiju being an absolute SIMP OF A BOYFRIEND! Like imagine when Hakki invited Michi over he just send a look to his sister and she nods and like not even a minute later his phone starts ringing and at first he's mad but when he sees who is calling his he literally yells at everybody to shut up and then starts speaking oh so softly into the phone then when he hangs up Taiju looks back at them and explains how their lucky his lovely name needs him and then he's hauling ass towards the house and when the siblings get home they see name lecturing Taiju about how he needs to be a better brother because now he's (Taiju) is acting like how his dad treated him before Taiju saved him. At first the siblings didn't think it'd work until Hakki wakes up early in the morning for some water and there is Taiju laying on the couch and then Taiju just starts apologizing. Talking how he's so sorry he treated them like that and he'll do anything for their forgiveness. You can decide the rest
Tumblr media
*SCREAMS*
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Hakkai was stressed as he glanced at his sister, the girl nodding much to Takemichis confusion "I'm gonna--- who the fuck is calling...me---EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP!" Taiju bellowed as he answered the phone and takemichi had to do a double take at the soft voice that came from Taijus mouth "hey baby...what's wrong? Yeah? Ok I will be there in a sec ok? Yeah I love you too..."
"You fuckers are lucky I have to go, but this ain't fucking over"
Taiju left swiftly, leaving poor takemichi very confused as Yazuha let out a sigh or relief "don't worry Michi, we just used the ultimate weapon against him" Hakkai said with the tiniest bit of smugness.
"What's that?"
"(Name)"
It was late in the evening when Hakkai and Yazuha got home, the siblings carefully putting their shoes away as they creaked past the kitchen "Tai, you can't treat your siblings like this! It's awful! They're your family and you need to treat them better!" (Name) said heatedly, hands on his hips as taiju looked ashamed "you told me if you ever start acting like your dad to tell you and you are really acting like him towards those two!"
Yazuha and Hakkai were...skeptical that anything would come of this as they knew their brother was an emotional boulder.
Though come morning, the sound of food could be heard and the smell of a simple Japanese breakfast woke the two from their sleep.
What surprised them was taiju sitting on the couch looking down, the sound of the last step on the staircase alerting the elder to their presence "sit down" Taiji said gruffly only for a chopstick to be thrown at him from the kitchen "I mean shit-- sit down please" Taiji said feeling the glare from his boyfriend who was aggressively chopping vegetables "I'm sorry... How I was completely unacceptable and (name) made me realize I was being horrible... I am deeply sorry"
"You guys don't have to accept it now or even ever... I just want to apologize"
Yazuha and Hakkai looked at each other "we know...we know it's been hard on you too and... Maybe we can work on building up to accepting your apology" Yazuha said carefully "actions speak better than words"
"That's completely fair"
Taiju was completely different as (name) watched over with a soft smile at the people he cared deeply for, setting the table, the three Shiba siblings genuinely talking for once.
(Name) was dead set to make sure they made up.

@warpainte  [...] everything was supposed to go back to ‘normal’ now.     she won the election against the odds,  the blackmailer was dead and no longer threatening to dig up their past,    mikayla was out of town and no longer taunting tai with their a history that no longer felt like history,    and tai assumed with all the stresses put to rest,   that she was finally done sleepwalking again,   and she could brush it all off as a fluke.    it was just the stress of the election,  the blackmail,   the blast from the past,   nothing more,   nothing real to worry herself with.   the rest was supposed to be simple   —    there was no reason for her family not to return to her now,   so that tai could finally repair that piece of her life as if it were that simple,   not taking into account that simone had her reasons for staying away — even before what exposed what tai herself was not aware of happening in their own basement.
simone’s warning forced tai to face what she had been avoiding  —   that this wasn’t just as simple as sleepwalking over temporary chaos,   it wasn’t as simple as accidentally letting their dog out,   it wasn’t as simple as a waiting it out until it was all over,  for her family to return to her as if nothing happened,   like taissa wasn’t struggling and hadn’t betrayed them.     something darker was going on here,   something taissa has told herself for 25 years now that she didn’t ever believe in —-  so why is it here,    and what does it mean?    sammy’s doll,    a picture-perfect image of her son,    along with their pet dog,   topped off with a symbol that used to make her angry,   horrify her,   and give her some strange sense of hope all at once.   in some way,   she does know what it all means:    it means that she was right to tell her family to leave,   and it means that simone was right to want to keep sammy away,   and worst of all,   it means simone is right about tai being sick.   she’s not ready to face that,   not ready to face her.
is this what you wanted?    the words play on repeat in her head,   only from a dream,   but when she looked at simone in that hospital bed,   it’s all she can think about.   simone had done nothing but support her over the years,   but the idea of her trying to get tai help made her feel trapped,   completely out of control of her own life,   and tai refused to listen,   only making it so much worse in the process.   she was fine before simone exposed the altar in the basement,   she was convincing herself she was thriving,   that she was finally back on track —-  but now,   ever since seeing it for herself,   she’s only spiraled more,   to the point where she’s barely standing on her own anymore,   barely conscious,   and making no commitment to wait here with her wife.
she doesn’t remember how she got here.   that should terrify her,   because it means she’s only losing more control,    but for a moment,   she’s not thinking about that.   she’s never been here before,   but she knows exactly where she is —-   standing in front of mikayla’s home,   moments away from knocking and facing her again after she’d said goodbye just a few days ago,   assuming it was forever.   it’s finally starting to hit her what she’s really doing:    she’s almost ready to admit that she needs help,   but not from the person who’s been offering it,   trying so hard to give it to her even when tai doesn’t deserve the support from her.   no,   she came here because she’s always been drawn to her,   the person who has helped her before,   even when she didn’t know how,   because she wasn’t trying to give her help in ways that tai found so debilitating.   she helped her because she understood her —-  which is something tai has never given her wife the opportunity to do,   because the way she’s presented herself since rescue has always been so calculated,   so much so that even she could convince herself that was who she really was.   being around mikayla again only reminded her that it wasn’t,   that she was always going to be the person she was out in that wilderness with her —-   so now she's here,   despite no real welcome,   despite no preparation,   despite no reason for mikayla to actually give her the time of day,   but with as much as she’s lost even after assuming her life was finally settled,   this is the only place that feels right to be.
the person on mikayla’s doorstep is not the same woman she almost kissed nights ago.   while her confidence was already faltering that night,  it’s nothing compared to this —-   bags under her bloodshot eyes,   shoulders slumped,  hair a mess,  clothes disheveled.   the state senator elect is certainly a sight to see like this,   but one that mikayla will likely be able to understand all too well:    it’s the same sleep deprived,  panicked,  barely coherent girl she used chase through the wilderness many years ago.   tai isn’t considering what it will be like for mikayla to see her like this,   she’s not considering the fact that reaching out to her like this is entirely unfair given her refusal to do the same for all those years mikayla was in prison,   and she’s definitely not considering the fact that it could be her wife who answers the door instead.    all she’s thinking about is that she needs mikayla desousa.    it’s selfish,  inconsiderate,  but maybe brave,  too —  because as she reaches her hand up to knock on the door,   she suddenly freezes.   instead of knocking,   her hand moves back to her hair,   attempting to tame the curls before smoothing her sweater in front of her.   she clears her throat,   trying to recall the last time she brushed or teeth or changed her clothes — everything before getting off that train is a blur to her now,   and she realizes she’s entirely unprepared for this,   but it’s far too late to turn back now.
she takes a deep breath, but her usual attempt to collect herself before a confrontation fails. she realizes now that there's nothing that can properly prepare her for this conversation, she can only hope that mikayla will understand without forcing it out of her — or worse, slamming the door in her face. she shrugs it off, because she led herself here for a reason, leaving behind the people she should have been catering to instead; it can't be for nothing. finally, she knocks on the door, the tired eyes lifting into something that's almost a hopeful smile as she waits for her.
the door opens, and her legs suddenly feel wobbly, her hand quickly reaching for the door frame just to hold herself steady. but her features contradict the rest of her exhausted body language, and she starts to smile upon seeing her, as if that's going to distract her from everything else that's wrong with her ( everything mikayla knows so intimately, even years later. ) tai makes no effort to try to explain herself, no attempt to make this any less weird than it is. all she does is give her a small nod, her voice innocently muttering a simple, ❝  hi. ❞

Cherry Magic TH Ep 1 Stray Thoughts
I'm excited to see Tay and New work together again, and glad they were selected as the ones to explore what GMMTV BL looks like between adults. I had some issues with the way the Japanese adaptation approached sex AND intimacy, so I'm hoping this one handles that differently.
I kinda like Newwie's hair, and I like the way they're contextualizing Achi's economic state.
Oh, good. We're keeping the bit where Adachi/Achibus bad at elevators.
Sing Harit!!
Tay is still just so beautiful.
Jan!!
Not surprised we're getting Japanese language and characters since this is a collaboration between GMMTV and TV Asahi.
I'm glad this show knows that Tay is a not-so-secret luxurious bitch.
Well, this gentleman from the Japanese office seems kind.
I like how much internal monologue we're getting from Achi before the magic starts.
GMMTV has asked me to believe that Newwie is a virgin twice within a year. This is a tall ask.
His first interaction with the power is being judged by a monk! Lol
Another scene on the Thai metro! What changed recently that we're finally filming there?
Elevator scene, my beloved, I'm glad they kept you.
Newwie has really improved over the years. He was really stiff in the beginning.
Hahah! They referenced the manga! I can draw comparison as much as I want now.
I like that Achi is hearing people think kind things about him as well, especially this senior.
Now why are they making Achi bring cake to Karan on Achi's own birthday? What do they know, and are they meddling?
Ah, Karan ordered it. They are facilitators!
I like Jinta. They ported the essence of Tsuge well with him.
That cat is so stressed. Cats are terrible actors.
Oh right! They cast Mark as the Thai version of Minato.
Okay, I like the way they're modulating the office dynamics for Thailand. The bit waiting for the boss to leave was good.
I kinda like the removal of Adachi's desk mats and having Achi stay late so Rock can meet his partner.
Oh wow we're getting to the overnight condo stay in the first episode.
Very glad Cherry Magic original means they're required to incorporate rain into the narrative. Also seems like they used the Sky train because Adachi had transportation struggles because of the schedule.
I lost it during the fantasy bit where Tay has to lower Newwie's big ass onto a bed.
Newwie looks great when he's wet and tired.
Oh my god they kept the pajamas moment!
Okay, I really loved this so far! This kept all of the things about the characters that I thought were really important while attuning them for the local taste. Really solid first episode. I'm having a lot of fun.

Chain Round My Neck | Taylor Swift x Reader
Taylor has a horrible day at work, not being able to get the lyrics to a song's bridge right, and looks forward to going back home and cuddling with her girlfriend, or the love of her life. Little does she know, you have a small present for her that might just help her finish the bridge of her song. Inspo : Call It What You Want by Taylor Swift
I had a horrible day at work, there was a song I wanted to produce but I couldn't seem to get the lyrics right.
Something felt missing from the song but I couldn't figure out what. I felt tired and miserable.
All I want to do, is go home and sleep. Your sweet nothing is all I wanted, for you to come and give me a big hug, take care of me, cuddle me as you whisper sweet nothings into my ear.
You're my safe place.
As I reach home, it was already pretty late so I expected you to be asleep but I saw the lights of the living room on.
As I walked towards there, I saw you on your laptop typing something. Stress was visible on your face as you sat on the sofa, your back's posture being terrible.
"Hi baby..." I say softly as I was just as tired and stressed as you were. You merely nodded in acknowledgement. I frowned and took the laptop from your hand and placed it beside us as I laid down on your lap. You smiled at me, as you gave me a quick kiss.
"Hey Tay, how was your day?", you ask me as I smile and continue to tell you how horrible it was. You were so tired and I could see it.
"Miserable, I can't get this new track's words sound right. I don't know what's missing." I said.
"Aww baby, it's alright. You'll get them right, you always do," you said rubbing circles on my back. I was so grateful to you for staying with me throughout the drama that happened in my life.
I cuddled further into you, as you wrapped your arms around me fully forgetting about your work. You draped a blanket over us, reaching for the remote.
"Wanna watch something babe?" You asked as I shook my head. "No, I just want to be with you," I said, laying my head on your chest listening to your heartbeat. It never failed to calm me down.
You smiled at me before kissing my forehead, we laid there for what felt like hours in silence, you thought I slept since I was being so quiet.
It felt right to say it then. "I think I love you," I mumbled, looking up to see your reaction. Your eyes widened slightly before a huge smile broke out on your face. We had been dating for over a year and half but I had never found the right time to tell this to you.
I was so in love with you.
"I think I love you too, Tay." You said, still smiling as you pulled me in for a kiss which lasted a while. At that moment everything clicked.
I figured out what I had spent my whole life trying to put into words,
Love.
I was in love with the most gorgeous person in the world.
"Hey, I got this for you.." You said, taking a small red box from your pocket as I furrowed my eyes to look at it. "You didn't have to, Y/N.." you shushed me and signaled for me to open it.
I gasped as I looked at it, it was a beautiful silver chain with our initials on it. It was mesmerizing.
"Do you like it?" you asked as you trailed kisses down my neck, occasionally nibbling on the skin. "Yes," I said breathlessly getting lost in your touch.
The next day I rushed straight into the studio, I knew what I was going to do to make the song sound right.
"Hey, Jack I wrote this for the bridge I think it's going to sound great."
"Sure Taylor, let's hear it."
"I want to wear her initial on a chain round my neck, chain round my neck. Not because she owns me, but because she really knows me which is more than I can say."

today i am thinking about... being kept company by favs while in a low spoons/introverted kind of mode..
(Just some general hcs and such, g/n reader, referred to as 'you'! not explicitly shippy)
Characters: Ayato, Capitano, Childe, Dottore, Pantalone, Pierro, Thoma, Zhongli
Ayato would be more than happy to keep you company - he probably quite likes having someone else nearby that isn't a retainer or something while he's doing his paperwork - I'd imagine he struggles a bit with social burnout on occasion too with how often he has to take charge of conversations, and thus sometimes he will request some 'chill time', especially once he's realised that you both benefit from it. He's often left to his own devices when he's doing his paperwork (apart from Thoma coming up to bring him snacks and drinks) so his study is kind of a safe haven away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world (and even when it's not, Ayato would definitely find you somewhere quiet to sit if you need it <3)
Honestly almost any time with Capitano would be some kind of 'quiet time', I headcanon him to be a very quiet individual, a man who lets his actions do all of the talking. It's actually more of a struggle to get him to engage in a normal conversation (especially if it isn't to do with a subject he's interested in), so hangouts with him often end up with silently watching a movie together or engaging in some form of parallel play (he likes to read -- though I can also see him engaging in some low-key, quiet exercises like tai chi, maybe yoga). I may be projecting here (which I think I'm allowed to because we know next to nothing about him and ive latched onto him like a remora fish), but i imagine that he actually struggles a lot with speaking aloud and socialising and will occasionally go non-verbal when he's had a particularly long or overwhelming day, so sitting quietly doing your own things works great for him.
I'm sorry but Childe can NOT stay still for long enough for either party to benefit from some sit-down quiet time, he's a high-key sensory seeker and is never quiet, he needs to be in the centre of attention or doing at least 3 things at once or he'll explode - he fidgets and wanders and asks annoying/insensitive questions like "hey are you done being quiet now?" he can be really draining to be around but if you tell him you're having a bad day or something he can be super sweet, bringing you treats and gifts and letting you snuggle up to him!
Chill time with Dottore is... unnerving, to say the least. After a mini questionnaire about your day and what led up to you feeling like this, he finally lets up and allows you to sit with him as he goes about whatever business, but eventually you find that he keeps glancing up at you with increasing frequency, his head tilted to the side as he just... observes you.
Pantalone probably chuckles and teases a bit, something along the lines of "oh, you couldn't even go a whole day without me? How sweet." He's another one who doesn't fully understand why someone might want what is essentially 'alone time' in tandem with another person, but he's fine with it as long as you aren't in the way or being distracting, though I feel like he could be kind of strict about it, especially when he's highly stressed, it feels more like being in detention than anything else.
Pierro probably enjoys it (but would never admit it), he probably won't even acknowledge someone walking into the room unless they speak to him directly, so it's really easy just to walk in and sit on a chair near him and just enjoy his presence (though he totally has that old man throat clear/sneeze). Bonus points if you bring him a coffee - he'll tell anyone who walks in looking for you that you're working on something for him and should be left alone.
Thoma is in a similar situation to Childe but he actually knows how to regulate himself well enough to not disturb or bother you - if he has some kind of quiet chore to sit down and do (like folding laundry, sewing or knitting) then he's more than set to keep you company for a while - he'll also offer to make you food and drinks, just like he does when you're sad or upset. I think he struggles to differentiate between upset/just needing some quiet time, but he really does mean well!
I think Zhongli would kind of struggle with the idea at first, it's kind of a non-traditional way of hanging out that he's not used to, he's such a talkative person and will just infodump about the first things that come to his mind because he likes to share things with you, but once he's warmed up to the idea he's more than happy to just sit in the same room while he works on some paperwork for the funeral parlor or reads, only occasionally breaking the silence to tell you something he's deemed to be very interesting or important.
Please don't copy or steal my work! Reblogs are always super appreciated though :D If there's a character not included here (or just someone you want me to elaborate more on), I'm more than happy to put something together, just send me an ask!

Had It Coming Part 4!?!?!?!!
IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING SO HERE IT IS
Had It Coming Part 4 (Christian Cage x Female Reader/Hook's Sister/Jack Perry's Ex):
Summary: It seems that you and Christian are going strong. But how does that sit with your ex-boyfriend, Jack Perry?
Word Count: 2.3K (Please accept as an apology for being so late)
Supreme Speaks: thank you guys so much for supporting this series and showing it love. it really means a lot to me. okay, I ain't gonna waste your time any longer. Here is the anticipated part four of this series (it has a dark portrayal of Jack, you don't have to read if you're uncomfortable). Please remember that you are loved and appreciated.
Warnings: DARK PORTRAYAL OF JACK (tw: obsessive, stalking, in the denial stage, borderline yandere vibes tbh), suggestive mentions, explicit language, proofread to the best of my abilities
Taglist: @hooks-martin @sheinthatfandom @triscillal @cassie0sstuff @hookerforhook @batzy-watzy @wwenhlimagines
It’s been 33 days since he saw you walk away from him with his former mentor and best friend.
And Jack is going crazy.
He legitimately lost it.
Everyone can see it on his face. But they can’t help him…they can only watch as he unravels and continues to ruin his own life. After seeing you run off in the sunset with Christian, Jack became uncharacteristically silent. He wouldn’t even talk to Anna, and when he did, it was screaming and placing blame on her. Anna, who truly wanted to help him, was broken up with before she could even do so. You found that out in the locker room as she was crying to Tay Melo, a sight that was so bittersweet for you to watch.
Jack would walk around the halls, bags under his eyes, genuine stress marrying his facial features, wearing all-black clothes, hair matted, and not utter a single word to anyone. It got so bad that Tony wouldn’t even put him on the screen. He would spend his evenings in the arenas sitting in a corner on top of boxes, just looking over your contact. His thumb would caress your face through the phone screen as his eyes lingered on the contact name “Sunshine.” He tried texting you, asking for you to come back. You never answered. For some reason, he thought changing your name and breaking up with Anna would be enough for you to come back.
It wasn’t.
But even though you didn’t come near him, two people would come near him, offering friendship and shoulders to lean on: Austin and Colton Gunn. They would try their best to get Jack chatting with them as they filled his ears with loud jokes, obnoxious laughter, and weird banter. Although he never cracked a smile, the Gunns were resilient and still provided him with company.
“Hey, Jackie-boy,” Austin said cheerfully, walking up to the sulking wrestler, who would mumble a response. “How ya doing?”
“Man you should have been at the party last night,” Colton said bumping his shoulder. “You could use a night out. There was this insanely cute girl that is exactly your type-” Jack shook his head. Colton looked at his brother before nodding to Jack.
Austin sighed, “Look man, we get it that it’s been a rough month and a half. You lost your best friend, other best friend, title, and girlfriend-“
“I didn’t lose Y/N.” Jack snapped, looking up at the brothers.
Colton and Austin quickly side-eyed each other before Austin continued, “I was talking about Anna…but bro and I mean this respectfully, Y/N left you a while ago.”
“Anna and I were never together. She doesn’t matter to me. Y/N didn’t leave me. We are just going through a rough patch right now.” Jack said while running his fingers through his hair. “It’s not my fault.”
“We’re not saying that it is. We’re just trying to say that maybe there is no future where you and Y/N are together. You need to accept it.”
“No, I’m not going to accept it because it’s not true!” He shouted, startling the Gunns, with Colton hugging Austin in fear. Jack lowered his voice as he continued to talk, “It’s not my fault. It’s not her fault. It’s Christian’s fault.” He whispered to himself. “I didn’t lose my beautiful, innocent, and sweet girlfriend to Christian. That could never happen. He took her from me! Just like how he took my best friend and credit for my career. He just takes everything from me.”
Colton said taking a step forward, “Jack-“
Jack stood up from the boxes, looking into Colton’s eyes with anger, determination, and bitterness, “He filled her head with these images that I’m not the one for her. That he’s better than me. He basically kidnapped her, come to think about it. Yeah…he kidnapped my precious Y/N and started feeding these lies to her. And to make matters worse, Anna came back into the picture and distracted me from realizing it. That’s what happened.” He poked Colton’s chest as he finished his statement, “And I fully intend to get her back.” He swiftly walked away from the brothers as they stared in disbelief.
Austin looked up at Colton, “He is not okay. Where do you think he’s going?”
“It’s 9:00, he's off to do his favorite activity.”
That consisted of Jack watching you from afar when you were by yourself or with your girlfriends; curious if you missed him, if you cried over him, if you were dying to run back to him for safety, comfort, and love.
The answer was no. None of the above.
But the second he saw you with Christian, his stomach would turn and he would run away, not wanting to see the bitter and disgusting man with the love of his life. Jack is miserable, but you? Oh girl, you are thriving right now.
It seemed the longer you and Christian dated, the bigger the smile on your face would get. As Christian stated, if you wanted something, all you had to do was ask. And he has continued to keep that promise. Nowadays, all you have to do is look at him as it seems that he can read your mind. The newest Louboutin heels? He bought them in 5 different colors. You feeling stressed and want to escape? He booked a yacht. You want to ride something while on the yacht? He’s already underneath you, allowing you to take control.
He was a gentleman to you; dropping everything just to assist you, even for a second. You didn’t have to worry about doing a single thing. As long as Christian is beside you, you are sure to be treated like the Princess you are. Hell, he even changed your stance in wrestling. As you were no longer bound by Jack, you took the necessary steps to reconcile with your brother, Tyler (Hook).
As Christian filled your life with love, positivity, and care, you realized that the FTW championship wasn’t something you wanted. So after a couple of defenses, you relinquished it, crowned Tyler the official champion, and started to manage Christian full-time.
But this wasn’t a parasitic relationship where you got all the benefits. Oh no. Christian loved being around you. It just felt right having you near him, with a hand lingering around your waist. Not only did you feed every single one of his sexual and physical needs, you also met and exceeded his emotional needs. You made him feel heard and seen. You see him in a different light than everyone else. He is letting his humane side be seen more now that you are always with him. Because to you, he is more than your lover, he is your protector and motivation.
He is also a great man of taste…
“Willow, he is so sweet! Just yesterday, he drove 45 minutes to sleep beside me because I couldn’t fall asleep. And then, he brought a chef to cook my favorite breakfast!” You yelled out to your best friend while getting dressed for Dynamite.
“That’s great Y/N, I’m so happy to see you smiling again. I haven’t seen you this happy in a while.” Willow said with a grin on her face. To everyone, your relationship with Christian was no more than a typical “sugar baby” transaction. But it was nothing like that, and Willow saw that.
You stepped out in your new dress that complimented your skin tone beautifully. “I know, he truly makes me happy.” As you were about to speak again, there was a knock at the door. You squealed, running to open it and seeing a medium-sized bouquet of white roses. You thanked the man before closing the door. “He always sends me flowers every Wednesday.” You said as you put the vase down. Willow got up and examined them. “But he never gets me white; they’re either red, pink, or orange.”
“Maybe he’s full of surprises,” Willow said as she got closer to the vase. There was another knock at the door, you went to answer it as Willow started to speak again. “Y/N, there is-“ She was cut off by your sequel again. She looked back at you to see you give Christian a soft kiss.
“Hi Princess, how are you?” Christian said hugging you with one arm, the other was behind his back. He twirled you around, “You look gorgeous.”
“Thank you, baby.” You said, placing a kiss on his cheek. Christian greeted Willow while still trying to hide his arm behind his back. “What are you hiding?”
“Well, it is Wednesday and you know I give you flowers-“
You smiled as you cut him off, “Baby, I already got the flowers you sent me. They are beautiful.”
Christian’s face screwed up in confusion, “What are you talking about?” He moved his arm from behind his back to reveal a much larger bouquet of red roses. “The flowers I got you are right here, I wanted to personally deliver them myself today.”
The color drained from your face as you took your boyfriend’s flowers and looked behind you. Willow held the roses in one hand and a paper in the other, as she read the note, the color drained from her face as well. “You need to read this.” She gave you the note. It would have been a very sweet and flattering one….if it was sent from your boyfriend.

Your laughter, a melody, a joyful song, In my embrace, is where you belong. Each moment with you, a cherished delight, You're my sunshine, my morning light. Love J
Your heart started racing as Christian ripped the note, took the flowers from Willow, and them in the trash. “He’s a piece of shit. That bastard.” He looked at you, who was in shock and disgust. He hugged you tightly, avoiding the roses he got you. “He just needs to leave you alone.”
“Yeah, I’m going to make sure of it.” You said before gently placing the red roses down on the table, taking over from where those distracting and bitter white roses once were.

“No, you will not. You let me handle it, I don’t him anywhere near you. He put you through shit before and I’m not letting that happen.” Christian said getting angrier by the minute, obviously not at you. “I’m going to get Luchasuarus to accompany you tonight. My woman will not go anywhere near him.” He said sternly.
Did you listen? No. Of course not. You left way before Luchasaurus got to your locker room door.
Your heels clicked along the halls as you were trying to find your ex-boyfriend. Anger was pounding through your blood as you carefully looked for him. You were about to turn to go down another hallway until you saw his matted hair in a bun. You stormed towards him, calling out his name. Jack turned around and immediately lit up at your figure getting closer, even though your facial expression was anything but happy.
"Y/N-"
You cut him off by sharply slapping him. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" You angrily asked him, not giving him a moment to register anything.
"Sunshine-" He sweetly started to say
"How dare you send me flowers and address me like that? We are not together. That was clear when you cheated on me with Anna"
Jack's face became angry as he spat out, "Don't talk like that. Anna means nothing to me. You love me and I love you. That backstabbing, lunatic, bastard is messing with your mind. Sunshine, just come back with me. Stop this little game of yours, you're letting him get the best of you."
"Jack, stop. I am with Christian; he treats me with love and respect. He actually cares about me and my feelings and treats me like royalty. Much better than the low-down and disgusting ways that you have shown. The only lunatic around here is you. You don't care about me."
"Don't say that!" He yelled, grabbing your arm harshly, "I love you Y/N! He's not the one! I am! Just come back with me and everything will be fine!"
You were struggling to pull your arm away from the man you once loved. Then a voice shouted down the hall, making Jack take his hand off of you. You turned around to find your boyfriend and your supposed bodyguard. Christian gently placed you behind him. "I'll talk to you later about this." He quietly said to you before turning his attention to Jack. "Listen, you have one more time to pull some shit like this-"
"Shut up! This is between me and my girlfriend-"
"MY girlfriend, MY woman, your ex. You have no reason to talk to her anymore. I'll be damned if you try to come between us or weasel your way back into her life." Christian stepped closer to Jack, looking down at him. "Leave her the fuck alone, little boy. Or the next main event for you will be your funeral."
Jack rolled his eyes as Christian grabbed your hand and kissed it before leading you and Luchasaurus down the hallway, away from your ex. You quickly looked back with bitterness and a glare as you turned the corner. But to Jack, that was a look of hope and desperation.
Desperation to get away from Christian, the man who drove you two apart. But also he could have sworn that your eyes were delivering him a message, a message of love and secrecy that was directly for him. "I'm going to save you from this Y/N. You don't have to pretend to have feelings for him much longer. I see your plan, and I understand it. It's genius. As those white roses signify, it will be a new beginning for us. And then, when it's all said and done, Christian will finally see who the real man is."
And according to Jack,
Christian had it coming…
And he only had himself to blame.

Absolutely love your take on Nat! I love how Yellowjackets took the trope of standoffish character with a dark aesthetic is actually really kind and did so much with it. The way Nat was ridiculed for her doing of drugs and was aesthetically different from the rest of small town NJ with her punk look making her an outsider to the rest of the team.. but she’s the one that has the biggest bleeding heart out of all of them (except Lottie imo).. her holding of Shauna’s hand as she gave birth, apologizing to Jackie’s remains for what they did and so much more.. God even her death.. sacrificing herself as a way to “redeem” herself for Javi’s death.. I’m so curious to see where she goes forward in s3. Really going to miss her in the adult timeline.
yes!!!! the way her aesthetics belie her goodness because people associate the culture of poverty and resistance and rebellion with unchristian/atheistic amorality and anarchy and squalor and uncouthness and assume she’s just some uncaring asshole who wears a leather jacket and rides a motor cycle or whatever (all of this to be read with maximum irony). like aesthetics are not innately correlative of morality, but especially the association with nat’s aesthetic embodiment (and her morally neutral practices, such as sex and partaking in recreational substances) as specifically indicative of some kind of moral decay (which people like taissa and jackie, aka rich kids) play into and use against her when attempting to undermine her ethical stances.
the reason she’s supposedly standoffish and aloof isn’t because she doesn’t love and care fiercely and passionately, but because she’s ostracized by her peers (and also because misty is a freak and anyone would be right to be wary of her). she’s very kind to the friends she does have, but she’s also mostly able to bond with guys because she’s used to being rejected by other girls. she gets along with girls like van, shauna, akilah, perfectly well, who are also used to being on the outside in some way, and have never tried to bully or demean her for her quote-unquote “lifestyle choices.” but girls who care about their femininity and reputation (like tai and especially jackie) are especially mean to her because they feel that she’s not performing respectability correctly, and this somehow makes her a “bad person” insofar as she does not conform to their (upper class) standards of decorum.
nat is the only character in yj who has to deal with life-shattering trauma before the crash, and the guilt she feels over having “killed her father” as well as the stress of having to take care of her abused, mentally ill mother while living in a fucking trailer park haunts her long before she ever got on that plane. van also has to deal with surviving in difficult conditions with an (implied to be) alcoholic single mother, taissa has her man with no eyes business going on, lottie is isolated by her family due to her condition, and obviously ben has a lot of trauma too (but he’s also an adult already, so it’s different), but i don’t think it’s unfair to say that nat’s trauma is by far the worst, and the fact that she employs “poor coping mechanisms” before the show begins (to be clear, i don’t really think that drinking, smoking, and fucking are bad things, but like, they are socially frowned upon practices for a teenage girl in a bourgeois suburban environment to be engaging in) is indicative of her already festering pain.
nat’s suffering shapes her into who she is every step of the way, but she is as equally defined by her motivation for altruistic goodness as she is defined by her pain, both facets of course being inextricably intertwined. because nat’s identity is so thoroughly staked to her own morality, she is also the one most detached from her identity, constantly looking for ways to disassociate and leave her body (including suicide), because she does not feel like she has been herself for a very long time due to the acts she was forced to commit in abject circumstances.
she claims to ben that she’s worse than the other girls because she let javi die, but even travis literally forgives her for it. nat cannot forgive herself, however, because she feels that she has betrayed herself through displaying a desire to live that has momentarily overtaken her desire to be good no matter what. and so she struggles and resists that urge for the rest of her life, actively courting death, as if that could ever possibly atone for her original sin of wanting to be alive. she was a ghost of herself long before she died.

That’s cool. Now, what will the how Beacon story goes if Jaune is born a Xiao-Long? Is Yang going to be either an overprotective sister or a fun and party-loving sister to him? How would the interaction with Jaune and Weiss go?
Okay, so let's cover up to and including the initiation, starting with going to Beacon. Jaune says good-bye to Summer with Ruby and Yang, then the three go off to Beacon. Jaune and Yang were supposed to go together, but having learned Ruby managed to bust up Roman Torchwick and his goons, they're not that surprised that Ruby gets in with them... Well, Yang isn't surprised. Jaune and Tai were worried sick (literally for Jaune) when they learned Ruby got into a fight with an actual gang. Jaune spends the trip to Beacon with his sisters, flipping between being airsick to worrying about Ruby. Yang tells him to stop babying her, which Ruby agrees.
Once they arrive at Beacon, Jaune and Yang get dragged off by Yang's friends, leaving Ruby alone. Ruby explodes, Jaune helps her, this time dusting her off and making sure she's okay. She bats him away, insisting that she's fine. The two walk and talk with Jaune explaining that he's just worried about her since she was always the smallest of the three. Ruby then unfurls Crescent Rose, noting that it is at least three times heavier than Jaune's weapon. They then head to the assembly and Jaune gets dragged off by some friends. Ruby and Yang meet up, "tall, blond, and scraggly" and Jaune catching up to Ruby and Yang expressing how excited he is to be noticed by such a cute girl already, which Ruby scowls and pouts at because Weiss is nowhere close to cute.
"Oh, come on, Ruby, where else am I gonna find a girl willing to talk about me that isn't you two?" Pyrrha pops her head up.
The night before initiation and initiation itself go about the same, and Jaune now regrets not working on his "landing strategy". He was never good at it, and even now, he's still flying through the air like a dog toy. Y'know, the long arm and leg ones? Anyway, Jaune meets Pyrrha and he explains that he's still not used to this whole "being a huntsman" thing.
"Then why apply at all?"
"Well... I kinda have to." He explains. "When I was younger, my sisters and I were walking in woods, alone, and we ran into some Grimm. One of my sisters got hit and none of us had aura yet. I covered my little sister to protect her, but..." He shakes his head. "Yang's always been so headstrong, so she needs somebody to pull her back. And I didn't expect Ruby to get accepted, so now I have to protect her, too!" He sighs. "Sorry for dumping this on you. You probably think I'm worrying too much."
"No, no, I... I never had siblings myself, but I think I understand why you're here." She smiles. "I guess I'm lucky to have someone so kind as my partner." The two share a chuckle.
Jaune still manages to make the Deathstalker mad, gets flung, flies into Ruby, and manages to catch Weiss as she's falling, too. Jaune stresses about the Nevermore but decides to let Ruby and Yang take care of themselves while he and his partner deal with the Deathstalker.
The teams defeat their respective Grimm in about the same way as they did in canon.
"That's your sister?" Pyrrha asked. "She's very skilled, isn't she? Did you teach her to do all of that?"
"No." Jaune looks up to Ruby. "She did that all by herself."
As for your other two questions, I will say that Yang will still be her usual self, trying to do her balancing act between rough and tumble party girl and caring older sister. When she sees Jaune with his team, she admires how much her dorky twin grew into his own. And as for Weiss, well... I think that'll have to wait until next time.

modern day taivan hc’s if they never broke up maybe………………………
taivan <3
ofc!! this might seem out of character but idk how else to write it considering they lived VERY different lives.
first, I think they would have broken up briefly after being rescued—just until taissa finished uni. but they'd miss each other everyday, and would flick through photos whenever it's quiet or its late at night.
they both move far away from their home town—too many bad memories.
that's why it's so shocking when they see each other randomly one day, bumping into each other somewhere that's so far from where they grew up. (literally tied together by an invisible string).
when they meet up again after like a few years, immediately tai flings herself into van's arms because she missed them so bad—it doesn't matter where they are, a bar, uni, on the street. she just needed to feel van's warmth again.
after dating for like two months, they move in together and start renting a shitty flat above a movie rental store, and van works there while tai works at some fancy lawyer firm. they make ends meet, and they get frustrated from time to time, but the nights always ends in them showing how much they loved each other.
whenever tai does the dishes it's compulsory for van to wrap her arms around tai's waist and snuggle her chin into the crook of tai's neck. they would do a lot of domestic fluff like this, because they just wanna make up for lost time.
the two of them snuggled on the couch while watching movies van borrowed from downstairs, popcorn bowl tucked neatly between them. they're drowning in blankets, but it doesn't matter because they're both just so comfy.
late night discussions about what happened in the woods because they need to find some way to process what the fuck happened out there.
van comforting tai when she starts sleep walking again. they try everything, even tying her to the bed post, but they end up finding work is stressing her out, so they go on a small trip upstate to visit their family.
I feel like life would be a lot slower and peaceful for tai, purely because van doesn't let her get on her bullshit. simone may have accepted and encouraged running for senator (or whatever she ran for, can't quite remember) but after not talking for a few years, van wants all of tai's time and attention. the idea of losing her to the election and strategy meetings is not appealing to her. she dissuades taissa, almost causing a rift in their marriage. but they find their way back to each other, again, cause invisible strings!
I don't think they'd have kids together, honestly. I'm open to changing my mind about that though.

YJs Field Positions Headcanons
listen i don’t claim to be the authority on soccer or yjs lore, but i spent way too much time watching the first episode and that one single game they play and then looking for tiny small snippets anywhere else in all the other episodes to piece these together. so, here it is! my official write up of the different numbers and positions i think each yjs plays(ed?) and how they relate to their personalities :)
jackie. 9, forward, striker. jackie is leading the charge, when the whistle blows, she's who gets to go for the ball. she’s a go-getter, she’s in control, the field moves according to her first move, which reflects jackie’s personality and need to control those around her (mostly shauna). the irony is that her role, her position, can’t function without the rest of the team behind her.
lottie, 5, depending on formation is mid defender (one the most important positions on the field) or center back. she controls the flow of the ball on their side of the field, she's large, imposing, a wall that's tough to get by. lottie is a solid and it’s her job to keep things under control when they get stressful, ie the ball is near their goal. she stands between the opposing team and them scoring, them attacking. when desperate, people will look to her.
shauna, 6, defensive midfield. she's right behind jackie, she's behind the strikers but in front of the defenders. she doesn't control much but she's essential in getting the ball to the forwards and she's the first line of defense when the ball is taken from them on the opposing team's side, it's up to her to keep it over there
van, 1, goalie.what's a team without their goalie? nothing. also one of the most important positions no matter how often the ball is in their court. they are the last line of defense, they can not falter. they are headstrong and steady and when the ball is in their hands, they control the field completely. if the defense fails, van is there to pick up what’s been dropped. van is the ultimate support.
tai, 8, offensive midfield, mid-forward. when the ball is on the opposing team's side, it's up to tai to keep it there, to pass from side to side, to keep it away from the opposing team. she needs to be aggressive and fast and never falter. she's supported by her other midfields and without her, the strikers have nothing. she's essential and she knows it. she also has the capability to score herself, if she finds the strikers and wingers aren’t there for her. while her job is to work with the team, there’s a point where she doesn’t need them and can operate individually if the situation calls for it.
laura lee, 2, right or left defender. she's the support, she's behind Lottie, she knows that if somehow someone gets by Lottie, it's up to her and whoever else is back there with her to make sure it doesn't get farther, to move the ball back up to Lottie and the other midfields. she needs to be reliable and consistent and the mid backs need to be able ot trust her fully.
allie, 11, forward striker. we know allie has kind of a cocky attitude, no matter what tai says. the only reason tai knows her plan will work is because she's the one who would be passing the ball to allie. her or nat or lottie, which is why we see her talking to them first when shauna walks up. Tai knew what she was doing, trying ot freeze allie out, and why she was so aggressive with her, because allie as a striker needs to be quick thinking and aggressive
akilah, 11, has the same pressure as allie did. i think she has a more steady and consistent personality from what we see and she's good at taking directions. which can be good for a forward/striker. before passing, people usually call out where they're passing too to their teammates so i'm sure tai would appreciate someone who can keep up with her and listen to her. and we do see that akilah is a bit insecure and falls in line once everyone else does, esp tai
natalie, 7, winger. natalie is the support, she's the one that puts the ball back into play when it goes out of bounds or near there. she takes the corner kicks which can potentially turn around the entire game. she needs to be versatile and quick, as wingers often run from box to box, like the midfielders. while wingers don't touch the ball nearly as much as midfield or striker, they're essential for getting the ball either across the field to change the flow of the game, or keep it in the center to keep the flow they have going.
while we don’t know what numbers they are or see them on the field, the assumptions i have for mari, melissa, gen and crystal are the missing positions or a second winger, an outside midfield, and anoher outside defender to mirror laura lee. they may also have overlap positions, but for the most part, that would fill out the roster.
EDIT: Since posting this, i’ve discussed with some others about positions of the remaining few and we were able to figure them out so here goes!
mari, 10, striker. we all know mari is kind of like the bully of the group. she’s pretty confident in her choices and what she wants and when she picks something she stick by it no matter what. great qualities for a striker. she’s determined and in control and she can finish what’s been started. i think mari would’ve been a pretty aggressive striker whereas someone like jackie was more passive.
melissa, 16. melissa would’ve been a sub, likely a winger, but possibly midfield as well. i can see her as nat’s sub. she’s pretty quiet and we don’t get too much characterization on her till later in season 2, but we know she’s rather laid back and seems to more so like to support than lead, and she quickly agrees with whatever is being decided. this would make a decent winger, someone who’s there to support and move the ball from the other side of the field.
